Sarah and her team were phenomenal at delivering above and beyond for our wedding celebration at Ahma.

My partner and I were looking for an intimate venue to host our party of 34 for a Sunday wedding lunch. We wanted a hassle-free experience and the experience with Ahma met our expectations.

They were diligent and communicative throughout the whole process: from early consulting to tastings to setting up the wedding event. We had a clear idea of what was offered, the price points and deadlines.

Some notable things:
1) Sarah and team created a rough schedule, provided decor and venue set up and even translated and printed Chinese menus for our guests
2) We shared considerations for allergies: gluten-free, nut-free and egg-free guests and they were able to accommodate equivalent dishes. Our guests with dietary restrictions especially shared praise for the taste of their dishes.
3) The service on the day was consistent and attentive. Food came out in good time and drink orders came around plenty.
4) The bride and groom (us) arrived 20 minutes late. Sarah and team were able to take care of early arrivals and get things started for our guests.

The experience was phenomenal and we highly recommend Ahma as a venue space for your next event.

I was grateful to have found and worked with Ahma for an intimate celebration of life held last weekend. As a specialty memorial event planner, I look for unique and atmospheric venues that are warm and inviting with staff who understand the sensitive nature of the bereaved families I serve. Ahma was exactly that.

We were able to integrate the charm of the venue while personalizing the space with elements that reflected my client's loved one – art, memorabilia, candles and flowers.

The catering with Simpl Things was delicious, thoughtful and elevated food.

We had a number of logistics – livestream, service, live musicians, layout transition to the reception, memory tables – that were seamlessly facilitated by the staff. Many thanks to Sarah, Kat, Marcela, DJ and the entire team for what was a very poignant and uplifting memorial.

I held a private dinner / cocktail party for my wedding at Ahma this past weekend and it was everything I hoped for and more! Working with the team was such a smooth, stress-free process. I really appreciated their flexibility and willingness to accommodate our requests. They were able to quickly transform the space from a 20 people seated dinner to a 60 people standing cocktail party. Our guests raved about the space and their phenomenal service.

I have to mention this because it was such a nice gesture. We didn't have a chance to have any of the cookies we had during our cocktail party. As we were unpacking our storage bin of decorations at home, they actually saved us a box which was such an awesome surprise. I am telling you - top notch service.

I highly recommend having your event here. We would definitely book with Ahma again for any future events. Big shout out to Kat for giving us a great first impression of the space, SJ for working with me for the past eight months and Marcela for making sure that the day went smoothly! We hosted my daughter‘s bridal shower at Ahma and it was incredible. Everyone commented and loved the space. The staff was beyond helpful and accommodating. The food was amazing, Don’t be fooled by their description of the canapés as “bites” I was concerned there wouldn’t be enough, but my guests actually went home with some of the food…..Ahma even provided the takeout containers.
I am so so thankful to all for making this a beautiful and memorable occasion for my daughter.

We recently hosted a fantastic corporate party at Ahma, and everything exceeded our expectations. Barbara was amazing she really captured who we are in our ceremony to make our wedding so special,took her time and was extremely prepared and patient and never once rushed is. A true professional in everyway. She even handed me a cute little package with a bow that said for happy tears that I thought was such a beautiful touch. We had our wedding at Bleeks and Bergamot in July 2025 at their beautiful new Riverside Venue and had the best experience! Bailey was an absolute star from the beginning, very helpful and considerate, always taking the time to answer my never-ending questions. The venue takes care of so many things that made planning a wedding so much easier - they even did our florals! Christine, our day-of-coordinator was also great and helped ensure everything went smoothly leading up to and on the big day. They truly do everything they can to ensure your special day is how you envision it. We would definitely recommend having your wedding here, you won't regret it!

We managed to snag the last date available at this venue for 2024 due to a cancellation from another couple and we are SO happy we did. Bailey and her team at B&B are absolutely phenomenal. Their communication leading up to our wedding and during our planning was impeccable. They always responded within 24 hours and answered all our questions. We felt confident that things would be well handled. Unfortunately, we had some on and off rain during our wedding day and Bailey and her team actually moved the chairs for our ceremony between the inside and outside area THREE times between rain showers before finally settling on having an outdoor ceremony when the rain stopped. They were readily available with umbrellas and everything we needed. They managed a lot of the coordination day of, and reduced a lot of our stress! The venue is absolutely beautiful, so if you’re considering this venue do yourself a favour and book it! You won’t regret it!

Bailey also did our wedding bouquets, boutonnières and arch pieces. The bouquets were EXACTLY what I wanted. The colour palette matched perfectly, and all the floral pieces were breathtaking.

What a beautiful location to host an event. At first glance, the corn field kind of hid it's location but once you got back to the facility, it was absolutely amazing. Hosts were super sweet and very easy to talk too. They provided games for our event. They also had a bar and very clean/well kept bathrooms. Highly recommend if your looking for a vendor

We had our wedding here middle of October and only have good things to say! Bailey and Rebecca were amazing and super helpful through out the whole process with recommendations and suggestions for all of my questions! Having the bridal suite and grooms area is a huge bonus for day of getting ready. So many of our guests commented on how stunning the venue was!
Will definitely be suggesting the venue to all our friends and family in the future. And hopefully will be back in 10 years for a vow renewal!

Our wedding at Bleeks and Bergamot was a dream come true!

Communication with Bailey and Rebecca leading up to our day was so simple, putting any of our worries at ease. We felt we were in excellent hands every step of the way. We especially loved that there were no hidden fees for every little thing, something we encountered at many other venues. Right away, Bailey provided us with a lot of information, making it easy to find our other vendors.

We had many opportunities to see the venue prior to our day, which helped to build excitement and envision our day.

The bridal suite is the perfect place for getting ready with your girls. Being adjacent to the creek made it the perfect spot for our first look photos as well as photos with our immediate family. We didn't have to worry about guests seeing us as they arrived since this property is down the road from the main venue.

The layout of the main property is fantastic. Our guests still rave about how fantastic our venue was and how everyone felt a part of the crowd no matter if they were on the dancefloor or enjoying a conversation. For the crowd that wanted quiet area to chat, the courtyard provided the perfect space. With the 5 large barn doors open, it still felt like everyone was in one space, which was especially important to us.

We can't thank Bailey and Rebecca enough for all that they did to make our dream day come true!

I can’t even begin to put into words how incredible this team of lovely people are. They made all of our wedding dreams come true with ease, grace and thoughtfulness. All of worries were solved before they could become a rolling ball of stress. All of our guests were in awe of the simple beauty and attention to detail. To say we loved our day is an understatement. I can not recommend them enough.

BEST DATE OF MY LIFE! I planned a surprise date for my special person while we were vacationing in the Banff area. WOW- did Amanda deliver! We arrived to the most beautiful picnic, perfectly set up with everything you could dream of! I can’t recommend this experience enough- you will forever have the most beautiful memories of a unique and romantic experience!

Cannot recommend Captivating Occasions enough! We hired Lexine and Amanda as our day of coordinators and they made everything before and during our wedding so fun and so much less stressful. They go through every detail you can think of about 3 months out and it really helps you gauge where you’re at with planning. Day of they took care of everything from logistics to making our reception venue decor dreams come true. Also be sure to check out River Rock Retreat which is their wedding venue (we had our ceremony here) and it was absolutely perfect!! Amanda and Lexine are single handedly responsible for the stress free wedding day that my husband and I were able to enjoy. We spent a year planning our day and Captivating Occasions was right there to provide guidance all along the way. The spreadsheet that these two put together to keep our wedding day on track was so appreciated by not only us but all our vendors. Amanda and Lexine ran our rehearsal, set up our decor, ran our wedding day and came back late in the evening to take everything down and pack up. As the Bride and Groom we truly didn't have to worry about a thing all day and not to mention our parents and bridal party were also able to fully enjoy the day. Amanda and Lexine created a group chat with us and were available for questions leading up to the wedding, and also sent us a bunch of behind the scenes pictures and videos from the day of which was an unexpected surprise. We would recommend these two for any event!

I spent a weekend at Ciel et Bois for a wellness getaway with friends, and it was such a sweet winter escape from the day-to-day city living. The convenience of having it be 20-30 minutes of travel time made it easy to drop in and get comfortable. The lodge is gorgeous, spacious and well equipped. The property has so much to offer. We took advantage of the sauna, kitchen, and games. The additional workshop room was perfect for me to host a yoga class, we loved the heated floors, fireside feels and windows that connected us to nature even while we were inside. We also went cross country skiing, only 7 minutes away from the lodge. It was a specular weekend, and felt right at home at Ciel et Bois. I highly recommend and will book again.

A large group of my friends and I stayed throughout the weekend at Ciel et Bois and had a wonderful experience. The drive there was short (only 20-30 minutes from most locations in Ottawa), and the space itself is so beautiful. We all felt very comfortable there and took advantage of all the rooms (especially the spacious kitchen which had everything you can think of)! A friend hosted a yoga session one morning in the studio space, and we spent a great deal of time in the sauna. This was a great pause from city life, and a beautiful staycation.

We were blown away at the place, the team left us a lovely welcome basket… Did not expect that 😀, and all of the details that make it feel like a home away from home are here. BBQ grill, chefs kitchen. The chill space is incredible, sunny and bright yoga room, the livings room, fire pit, hammocks, pick-nick benches. All just a great place to hang out and the basement is perfect for the kids to have their own space. Could not recommend this more, clean spacious, well decorated, comfy beds. Perfect if you have a couple families, or group of friends that want to get away together. You can all have your own space and still be together. Highly recommend 👍🏽👍🏽

Love Ciel et Bois! Beautiful property, incredibly well set up for any activity you have planned. Sauna was definitely a highlight! Also super great owners, they were always happy to answer our questions leading up to and during our stay.

We had a wedding planned with another venue in octobre 2024, and at the last minute we ran into many issues with them. We scrambled to find another place in a few days notice, and were so fortunate to find this wonderful venue, and all the help Brahm gave us to make sure our wedding was a success. In the end, it was even more wonderful that we had dreamed of. The room is so beautiful, with those incredible windows, the brick wall that made such an impact with uplighting, friendly and attentive staff at the bar, and such a clean venue all around.

We recently hosted a party at Espace Mila and we can confidently say it was one of the best decisions we made for this event! From the moment we stepped through the doors, we knew we were in for something special. The venue itself is stunning—beautifully designed with a perfect blend of elegance and warmth that set the tone for an unforgettable evening.

The service was beyond incredible. The staff was not only professional but also genuinely friendly and accommodating. They anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, making the entire experience seamless. Whether it was setting up the space, serving drinks, or ensuring that everything ran smoothly, the team at Espace Mila, went above and beyond to make us feel like VIPs.

Now, let's talk about the food—absolutely delicious! Every dish was a hit, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about the flavors and presentation. I had my wedding at Espace Mila it was the most beautiful and magical venue! The staff were so accommodating and kind. My guests won’t stop talking about the amazing catering by Beatrice! Emilie and Bram made the whole event so seamless and enjoyable!

Held a small (under 50 person) wedding here over the Thanksgiving weekend, we sure lucked out with weather! This little gem was perfect for our family and friends to gather. An old house, but with cute accents and details. It was perfect. We did leave a note with those minor technical issues! They had folding chairs and tables, I was able to tuck away the house decor in the cupboards and put up our table clothes, decor and floral arrangements!
Beds are a bit hard but wasn’t a huge make or break for me.
The huge deck out back really helped make it feel fun, and gave space for everyone to hang out and not be elbow to elbow inside. For the back yard we got more leaves to cover some of the patchy grass from autumn, but a decently sized yard. Highly recommend for a cozy feeling! I will cherish the memories made here.

I cannot recommend Grace enough! Our wedding went incredibly, the space was perfect for our 90-person guest list. The venue was beautiful, exactly what I wanted. Savanah was incredible to work with, always quick with responses, and made sure everything went smoothly. TOBEN provided the best wedding food I have ever had, and every guest went out of their way to tell me how good it was. They also accommodated multiple dietary restrictions and special requests. We could not have asked for anything better.

I just hosted my team and clients for a weeklong sit down at the Grace Venue, and had the most incredible experience from start to finish.

Our teams were activating an event across the lot at the Symes and we utilized the Grace Venue as our production offices, war rooms, client production offices, communal eating space, and everything else you can imagine. This venue was PERFECT for all of our needs, and conveniently so close to where we were working and activating our project.

The whole team at Grace was so kinda and professional from start to finish. Tanisha was incredibly communicative and took care of us in the most professional manner, and always had a smile on her face. Any request I hit her with, she never responded with 'no', always an 'of course, I'll take care of that right now'.

I could not recommend this venue enough should you be looking for and elevated and curated experience. We are very lucky to have gotten to work within this venue, and will absolutely look into visiting again.

Grace Venue made all my wedding dreams come true. I absolutely still cannot get over the magic that day brought. The ladies at Grace (Savannah and Kira) were so fantastic to deal with and so accommodating. Truly an amazing day. The food was fantastic the guests still are raving about it. The mood, the esthetician, the ambience, the entire team. Wow. I am so thrilled with absolutely everything. Thank you for making it the best day of my life.

Grace Venue was an amazing choice for our wedding reception. The space is modern with lots of character making for a perfect canvas. The team was wonderful to work with and the food by Toben was called the "best wedding food ever" by our guests!

It is with tremendous satisfaction and pride that I am writing this about Toben and his recently opened GRACE Venue on Symes Road. Toben was the caterer for my younger daughter’s wedding about three years ago, and the food was terrific then. I don’t know how he does this, but it has become even more spectacular now. His team did an excellent job in making my eldest daughter’s wedding a truly magical event. The food was spectacular, five stars plus. What made it even more magnificent was that the wedding took place at the Grace venue. It is a fantastic venue. It is exceptionally tastefully done and aesthetically excellent. His staff was equally outstanding. If ever you need a place to hold a special event, I would strongly encourage you to consider the Grace. Everyone contributed to that magical night, from their contact person Savannah to their head waiters, waitstaff, bar staff, and support staff. It is without any reservation that I would highly recommend Toben and the Grace Venue if you’re looking for a unique setting for a special event. Well done, Toben, exceptionally well done, and thank you again!

My now husband and I had our wedding at Homestead 1880 this past July 20th 2024.

The day was SO beautiful! The weather was perfect, the details of the DIY projects we prepped for the day looked absolutely gorgeous with the venue as the backdrop.

The venue owner, Cathy Zuana along with her husband Ronnie did an absolutely incredible job prepping the property for our big day. Everything from the landscaping to how nice and clean the farm and farm house (that we rented for the weekend) was just picture perfect.

Everyone was in awe of how stunning the venue was! We received countless compliments and people asking about it throughout the day.

The venue was perfect for what we were wanting. I would recommend it to all brides who are looking for a venue that they can personalize in a way that suits them best.

We haven’t gotten our wedding photos back yet from our photographer but please enjoy looking through these photos that our guests captured, that we screenshot from our wedding video etc. As you can see from the photos, this venue is a dream come true!

My husband and I held our wedding at Homestead 1880 last September and I truly can’t say enough good things about this venue. You would never know it was a newer venue as the owners (Cathy and Ronnie) have it operating so smoothly. They were both an absolute pleasure to work with and were flexible and accommodating throughout our entire planning process. They were also able to recommend some wonderful vendors, including a phenomenal day of coordinator!

The venue itself is stunning and the bridal suite on site is convenient and fully equipped with everything you might need for an easy, fun, and seamless getting ready morning.

Cathy and Ronnie went out of their way to make sure we had the absolute best wedding day. I would not hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone!

If you’re looking for the perfect rustic venue to get married, this is it 100%! We were beyond happy with everything! The property is beautiful, and the barn is exceptionally gorgeous! Cathy & her team were beyond accommodating!
The best part is you can do everything there! The guests did not have to move from the ceremony to a reception venue.

My family and I attended a wedding at this venue in the fall of 2022, and we were absolutely blown away by the stunning setting and high-end finishing of the facilities. The outdoor ceremony took place overlooking beautiful corn fields, which provided a breathtaking backdrop for the event. The reception was held in a renovated barn, which had been beautifully finished with high-end details including a stunning chandelier. The far side of the barn had a covered deck with multiple seating areas around gas-fired heaters, which provided a cozy and comfortable atmosphere for guests. We were also impressed to find that the barn had newly installed washroom facilities, which were clean and well-maintained throughout the event. Overall, we had an amazing experience at this venue and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful and luxurious wedding or event location. Five stars!

We recently attended a country wedding at Homestead 1880. The huge barn was fully restored and had beautiful sunset views of the country farm. Also amazing were the amenities including large modern bathrooms, very high ceilings with a gorgeous chandelier and outdoor covered fire pits offering comfy seating for some fresh air. The dance floor is large and the ambience is very quaint. What a great location for a wedding, birthday party or country hoedown.

We choose Oak and Pines for our wedding and it was nothing short of magical. Every detail was handled with care, professionalism and a genuine desire to make our day unforgettable. The venue was breathtaking, the staff were warm, so helpful and attentive. All our guests were so impressed by this place!

I had the serenity package therefore the staff were setting up the venue with the decorations and I couldn`t be more pleased with their work. Every element came together with care and intention and they truly succeeded putting my vision to life. They made the place elegant, warm and timeless.

We hosted our wedding at Oak & Pines and honestly it was the easiest decision of the wedding planning. This family owned business, close to Orleans, is absolutely stunning. The barn (main reception area) is rustic yet modern. The large grounds allow for many beautiful background for photos.

During our first visit in 2023, we were told there would be lots of renovation in the coming year. They did not disappoint. The addition of the sunshade ceremony space is absolutely amazing. Allowing guest to still be outside while still being covered by the elements. Although we had initially booked this venue due to the forest ceremony space, once we saw the sunshade it was an easy switch (also allowed us to have a DJ during the ceremony). The renovations of the inside were also beautiful.

They answered my endless emails quickly and thoroughly. They even went above and beyond and contacted one of my vendor directly so that everything would be set up correctly. Overall, we highly recommend this hidden gem.

Oak and Pines was the perfect venue for our wedding! The setting was absolutely breathtaking — every corner felt magical and created the most beautiful backdrop for our day. The team was amazing to work with from start to finish: organized, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything ran smoothly. I attended a self-development workshop here with my partner earlier this Fall, and felt a good vibe as soon as we pulled into the driveway, which led up to a beautiful, spacious property, and of course, a big orange barn! With surroundings that foster a sense of connection to nature, this is the perfect venue for outdoor events and anyone looking to create a unique and memorable experience for their guests.

My husband and I had the great fortune of selecting Studio V for our wedding that was held there earlier this month. Dawn's venue was the first we saw when we started looking for a space and we immediately knew it was the right venue for us. It is intimate with a lot of character and it was the perfect size for our wedding with 50 guests. And after meeting Dawn we knew we were in good hands.

Dawn was very helpful with assisting us plan our wedding. She was always available to answer questions and provide ideas.

On the day of, everywhere went off without a hitch. Dawn, Eliza and their staff did an excellent job decorating the venue and making sure our big day went smoothly. It was everything we hoped for.

My partner and I held our wedding here in October 2022. We wanted a small wedding due to the changing environment of covid and fell in love as soon as viewed the venue. We had the most beautiful wedding, bettet than we ever imagined.

Dawn and Eliza are both so amazing. From our first consultation and walk through, to booking and planning, right until the last mins of our wedding day, the communication was quick and the overall planning was easy. You want to have good communication with the venue and you get that when here. I felt super at ease especially for someone who is Type A.

At first i hesitated getting a wedding coordinator as naturally I love being hands on, but we found it so helpful to have Eliza communicating with our vendors and helping with our schedule. You need a Eliza by your side brides/grooms! Highly recommend getting the wedding coordination service as add on.

Our vision of our wedding came to life and Eliza was there to help flush it out to make it even better. We held our tea ceremony, nikkah, lunch reception and lion dance.

We probably could've came with less decor based on how much was at our disposable from Studio V. So if you're on a tight decor budget, and love dried florals, minimalism with a mix of boho, they may have what you want and more without the additional coordination or cost.

The staff that Studio V hired for the day of were also top notch. So kind, so helpful, and the service was beyond amazing. Even our guests were complimenting at how lovely the service was. As soon as you enter, you feel so welcomed.

Wouldn't have had my wedding any other way.

Shoutout to Studio V Events and their amazing crew, especially Dawn and Eliza, for making our wedding day an absolute blast! We had a Hindu ceremony, which required specific arrangements and traditions, and Eliza and Dawn helped make sure everything was in place, which made the ceremony flawless. We felt respected and valued throughout the entire process - Eliza was incredibly accommodating. Their respect for our traditions was apparent and we really appreciated that. We also were able to have our dog at the wedding which was wonderful!

Eliza helped us craft a flow of events and spent a bunch of time planning out the day with us over the phone. She had some great recommendations for vendors, the set up and the flow of events - all these aspects helped make our special day memorable. Our guests loved the space and the set up. Importantly, the team was super laid-back and calm, which seriously eased our wedding planning stress!

One of the most common pieces of advice I received before the wedding was that I wouldn't have time to enjoy the day because of all the chaos. However, thanks to Dawn, Eliza, and their fantastic team at Studio V Events, I can confidently say that we had an absolute blast at our wedding. They handled every detail with grace and efficiency, leaving us free to soak in every moment and enjoy our big day.

I've shot multiple weddings at Studio V and I enjoy them very much. It's one of my favourite locations to capture weddings in Toronto :) Eliza and Dawn are the best, they will go the extra mile to make sure you are taken care of. The ambience and decor bring the whole space together, and this space photographs so well!

We had our intimate wedding with family and friends here last Dec 2022. I just can't say thank you enough to Eliza and Dawn for being such wonderful people to work with. We had Eliza for our wedding coordinator and she did most of the work and I am so happy and satisfied with how everything worked out at our wedding day. Eliza was very patient and understanding since Day 1 with what I want in our wedding. All of the staff were accommodating and made sure all of our guests are having a good time during our wedding day. The space itself is very spacious. Thank you so much Studio V Team. It was a pleasure working with you and making our wedding day beautiful and smooth. Definitely would recommend the place and staff.

During my research, there weren’t that many available options for smaller, more intimate gatherings, but as far as I’m concerned, The Knox is all you’ll ever need: picturesque, charming, cozy, classy. Michelle and all those working with her run a beautiful establishment. There’re also a good amount of inclusive décor options which make for significant ease of planning. Her website is clear and detailed and correspondence with her was always quick and responsive.

You know a venue is lovely when it looks as good as it does even as a blank canvas, and decorating that space on our big day was the ultimate fairytale experience.

The Knox was a wonderful venue for our 80 person wedding on August 2, 2025. I highly recommend also staying at the Maple & Rose, which is only a 2 minute drive from the Knox.

Working with Michelle as our Coordinator at the Knox was a wonderful experience. She is well versed in wedding planning and captured all the little details that may have slipped through the cracks. Even with last minute changes (literally the day before!), she was able to make it happen efficiently and without any stress.

We had an outdoor ceremony under a tent, followed by cocktail hour on the side and front yard, and the reception was held inside. The lighting is simply beautiful inside and having candles makes all the difference once the sun goes down. We had our first dance under the string lights outside on the side lawn.

We received so many comments about how the space "suited us" and guests really felt the intimacy. If you are looking for a wedding venue that is beautiful, accommodating, and intimate, I couldn't recommend the Knox more. It was truly a magical day with friends and family.

Of note, when it's dusk / when the sun goes down, there can be mosquitos (dependent on the season). We bought a couple Thermecell Mosquito Repellent canisters from Home Depot and placed them on the perimeter of the lawn, which helped a lot.

The Knox was the PERFECT setting for our wedding! The service was amazing, special thank you to Sydney for helping make our day run seamlessly. The venue itself speaks for itself, the most beautiful, classic blank slate that you honestly don’t even need to decorate for it to look beautiful! We had minimal additions for decor and it was still extremely elegant. All of the staff has such wonderful attention to detail, and the special gift we received the night before our wedding was a lovely, unexpected touch! Everyone had a wonderful time! Thank you so much Michelle for helping us with our tour and checking the space out a few weeks before our wedding day to make sure our vision for the floor plan would work out. We couldn’t have asked for better!

We were so fortunate to get married at The Knox in July 2023! The venue is absolutely stunning both indoors and outdoors. Love the smaller and intimate setting inside. Merrickville brought a little extra nice charm to the day and night. Michelle made everything so easy for us as the owner, she was there from our first site visit, walking us through the plans for the day, and took care of everything for us alongside our wedding planner on the day of. We felt so comfortable and relaxed with her and her team, they are all amazing! She also gave so many great recommendations of places to get our wedding photos, bars for after hours, places to stay, and vendor recommendations.
