Spectacular is the minimum you can say about this place. From the first impression of the exterior of the unique and charming restaurant to the minute you depart you know one thing, You're coming Back! The service is exceptional, never for one minute do you want for anything. Me and my wife were on vacation and ended our trip in Calgary and I decided we would try this restaurant based on their reviews. I expected a nice evening, but what we got was great ambiance, great food, large portions, expert presentation, great value, first class service and a new place to come every time we are in town. The Bow Valley Ranche is a must for anyone wanting to try Calgary's finest! A+! Btw: special thanks to Oskar for the best service in town!

Reserved a table for lunch and had a remarkable time. The restaurant was courteous and prompt with their staff being very attentive and kind.

Leading into wonderful food with a gorgeous view both in and around the wonderfully maintained historically significant building to the area.

We chose to be seated inside and the decor and atmosphere was both calm and quiet.

Now the food itself was also spectacular with rich flavours without any overbearing saltiness or any greasiness at all. The whole experience was great and the course was actually quite filling on top of it all!
This goes for all 4-5 dishes between my wife and I.

Took a nice walk to digest the food and enjoy the scenery with a quick trip through the native gardens leading to Annie’s cafe which in itself was a great lead up to a pleasant walk.

Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to start their morning off in Fish creek with pleasant food and mood.

Absolutely adore this place! I took my husband here for his birthday a few months ago, and it was such a wonderful experience. The food, service, and atmosphere were simply amazing! I had the beef tenderloin, and I seriously have been thinking about it in my dreams. It is such a beautiful, historical building, making the ambience just impeccable. My husband and I were super full after our dinner, and we decided on not having a desert, and they even took the liberty of surprising us with a little plate of cakes! It was so sweet! My husband booked us our next visit for my birthday, which I’m counting down the days for! Thanks again for such a nice dining experience. We can’t wait to come back soon, and are looking forward to seeing the space in autumn.

We ordered the weekday lunch special. The salad dressing was amazing. For the second main dish, I chose the pork — it looked delicious, but unfortunately, it lacked flavor. There was some sauce on top, but it wasn’t enough. We asked the server for extra sauce, but he didn’t bring it. I didn’t want to eat my food cold, so we ended up asking for salt and pepper instead.

The dessert was good.

This restaurant is very popular, and I haven’t seen any other weekday special courses like this one. The price was very reasonable, but I was a little disappointed with the main dish.

The location is perfect — it was a great place for brunch with my best friend.

We went here to celebrate our anniversary, and really happy we did. It is an awesome place, the atmosphere is special and the service was amazing ❤️ We loved the food, the steak was delicious. I recommend this place, we had an amazing time there and would consider going again. We also received two pieces of cake as a compliment, it was unexpected and sweet!

I booked Brie & Banquet Wild Catering Co. for my baby shower and they completely blew me away! Working with their team was such a pleasure — the booking process was seamless, and they offered so many beautiful options to choose from.

The final setup was a stunning blue-themed floral spread inspired by high tea, and it exceeded all expectations. My guests and I were absolutely in love with both the presentation and the food — everything was incredibly delicious.

This is a 20/10 experience, and I would recommend them to anyone planning an event. I’ll definitely be using them again in the near future. A big thank you to Katie and her team for making my shower so special!

They did an absolutely fantastic job setting up quickly before I arrived, and made the spread look like a dream with florals, and cute display cards. I highly, highly recommend this company!

When you step inside even for the first time, you get a sense of welcome and family. Every detail is taken care of to the tee. Service is absolutely impeccable. The food is very good and decor is stunning.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Canvas in October 2024 and couldn't have been happier with the experience. Beautiful space located near the canal, which was great for pictures. Food was very good, highly recommend any of the delicious canapés! We loved the unique bring your own alcohol option and the bartender John was awesome throughout the night. Can't say enough about how accommodating and caring Mike and his entire staff were throughout the evening and planning process. Prices are very reasonable and Mike is transparent and clearly outlines everything from the start. Overall we had an amazing time and would highly recommend Canvas!

We had our wedding there last week and it was absolutely amazing. From the food to the staff, everything exceeded our expectations. We received very positive feedback from our guests on the food. We just had our wedding ceremony and reception at Canvas Montreal two weeks ago, and we could have not been more satisfied! Mike, he was fantastic at realizing all of our wishes and working together to create a unique space for our wedding! Carmen, John (the bartender) and the two other staff members that day/night were equally fantastic - keeping us and all of our guests happy throughout the entire evening! We cannot thank the staff enough for their kindness, laughter and the way they welcomed us. The space itself is beautiful, I call it a blank canvas. If you are someone who loves to make a space unique and your own, this cozy loft space is Perfect for you! And I should not forget to mention that the food was Delicious! All of our guests were happy to be served hot and tasty meals throughout our reception! We were 100 percent satisfied booking with Canvas for our special day. Not only were booking prices fair, but Mike was incredibly transparent with every single aspect of the space and the services they offer (which many other wedding venues which we researched hide their fees and services - Mike was always 100 percent and on the table). We felt so comfortable with him and his staff that I'm proud to say we would recommend Canvas to anyone as they make you feel comfortable, welcome and at home! I had a wonderful experience at Fairy Dreams! It’s such a gorgeous boutique with a dreamy atmosphere that made trying on dresses feel like it was a fairytale lol. Katrina was amazing - so kind, attentive, and made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire appointment. Although I ended up finding my dress elsewhere, I truly enjoyed my visit and highly recommend for future brides!

I came in for multiple fittings to make sure the dress I ordered would fit perfectly, and the team made the process so easy and enjoyable. Experience at this bridal shop was a 13/10!!! Highly recommend this boutique to any bride to be. Katrina was so caring and personable. The entire 3rd level is reserved for one bride & their entourage at a time with lots of natural light, comfortable seating and lots of mirrors. She was so helpful. She even reached out a few days before my appointment to see my Pinterest board to pull dresses in advance. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

I'm writing this review to share my disappointing experience at this bridal shop. From the start, the service was a letdown. My stylist, Lauryn, was unwelcoming and didn't seem interested in helping.

A significant issue was the strict policy around trying on dresses. I was charged a fee, which was unexpected and frustrating, especially since the overall experience was so poor. The selection of dresses was also quite small.

During the appointment, I was not allowed to use the larger, more helpful mirror on the other side of the room. This forced me to rely on my friend's phone camera to get any sense of how the dresses looked on me. For such a significant purchase, it was incredibly difficult to make a decision without a proper view.

Overall, the combination of an unfriendly stylist, a limited collection, and a restrictive, inconvenient try-on process made this the worst bridal shop experience I had.

Stunning gowns, beautiful bright private studio and a kind positive stylist- a really wonderful experience! :) Fairy Dreams has a great selection at a variety of price points, and a huge totally private area to try them on complete with couches and multiple mirrors, big windows for your friends and family. Katrina was so wonderful and went above and beyond for any questions I had - thank you!

We celebrated our wedding at Le Crystal on July 19, 2025, and it was truly the best decision we made! A big thank you to Joe, Tanya, Connie, and the rest of staff who were very helpful, professional, and responsive. They worked with us on every detail and made the planning process very smooth.

The hall itself is so stunning, elegant, and beautifully maintained. Our guests were impressed with the décor and atmosphere. The food was very delicious, and we received so many of compliments from our family and friends.

The service on the day of the event was also remarkable. The team made sure everything ran on schedule and that we did not have to worry about anything. They handled last-minute changes with grace and kept the mood stress-free and joyful.

We highly recommend Le Crystal for anyone looking to have a beautiful and memorable and wedding!

The team at Le Crystal was absolutely perfect, there was not one complaint from anyone. Working you guys was so easy and stress free! The food was absolutely delicious, the waiters were always on point even until the end. Anny was a 5 star waiter, super helpful from the moment we got to the hall till the every end she was always checking in, never had a glass empty on any table (head table and parent tables).

You and the team just made our wedding so easy for us to actually enjoy. We want to thank you and the team from the bottom of our hearts on making our day so perfect.

Working with you, Joe and Tanya and even Connie at the end when we had to do deliveries so smooth there was never any miscommunication or someone missing information. You guys did amazing and we will definitely spread the word to any friends, family or strangers to go to Le Crystal.

Our experience at Le Crystal was nothing short of amazing! From the very beginning, Julia guided us through every step of the planning process; she was truly an angel and made everything so easy and stress-free. Especially when we had last minute changes, Julia handled everything amazingly.

On the wedding day, everything ran so smoothly. The team was constantly checking in to make sure we had everything we needed, which allowed us to just relax and enjoy our day. The food was absolutely incredible, and Anny was there helping me with anything I needed.

4.6 stars ill give, in the beginning the owner promised me a lot of things like free beer during services time and start at anytime decorating the day of the wedding and he said I can pay with credit card, debit or cheque.
Now the issue was that the person who take care of the whole process Tanya did not listen to all of that so When i will send emails about those details i will receive an answer about no thats not possible this and that. And then after they will tell me yes sorry. So I stressed a few times during the months I was organizing. But thanks God everything will be fine at the end of the day. I got a nice service at the tasting service the head of servers i think was really nice to us. And the food was amazing. So i had no complains about food. I had complicated guest during wedding day, she never answer to my questionnary about food restrictions, And she was lactose intolerant and nevwr answered that form about food. So I didn't said to the waiter about this person because usually she will take pills for lactose. But i heard her complain about her salad cesar that had cheese. And me has a bride got mad NOT at the server but her. But good think about the Crystal that they never got back to me about that guest they just took care of it and handled very well. So I do appreciate very well the big effort they did. And not only that. But they cut the cake that was almost falling NOT because of them but because of my vendor. And they still cut the cake properly. At the end of all of it I got happy. So its almost a 5 stars just the last 6 months that was stressful for me. But the day of was amazing.

We had our wedding at Le Crystal and cannot speak highly enough about the service and every member of the team because they are wonderful throughout every step of the process.

We were initially interested in the venue because of the hall itself, the Pearl hall is stunning and fit the vibe of the wedding we wanted, but then were so impressed by the communication and time they took in meeting with us, it was clear they are passionate about what they do and are confident in their ability to execute a couple's vision.

Everyone we dealt with made the entire wedding planning process so seamless and stress-free. They were quick to respond with any question I had and have a clear outline of what information they need and when and were things I would not have thought of and it is evident that they know what they are doing and have an efficient process. I did not hire a wedding planner and did not feel I needed it with how easy and supportive the process was.

On the day everything went so smoothly, the food was some of the best we've had, the service was incredible, we even had one of the waiters who was at our tasting come by to say hi, which was so thoughtful, and the day went exactly how we had hoped it would.

Our guests are still talking about how wonderful they found Le Crystal, especially how delicious the food was (one guest said it was the best vegetarian meal she had ever had at a wedding/event) and how impressed they were with the service of all the waiters and bar staff.

With the number of weddings and events they have hosted you could imagine just feeling like a number to them but that could not be further from our experience. They made us feel so special and that our wedding was important. They are truly masters at what they do and I cannot imagine a better team anywhere else.

I recently attended a engagement party at this event hall and was thoroughly impressed! The venue was stunning, with beautiful decor and a spacious layout. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was exceptional. The event flowed smoothly, and every detail seemed to be meticulously planned. I had a wonderful time celebrating with the happy couple, and I would highly recommend this event hall to anyone looking for a top-notch venue. Five stars!"

There has been multiple times when Bailey has, In my opinion, prevented what could have been bad situations by taking action and alerting guardians to the fact that their child is unsupervised in the water.

When Bailey is not preventing bad situations, she’s cleaning garbage off the beach, cleaning and organizing the rental inventory and greeting guests and overseeing rentals.
Thank you Bailey for making our time at the beach safe and enjoyable for my family as well as all the families using the community recreation. You truly make our visits amazing!

I rented the mahogany beach club hall for my daughter’s bridal shower. It was a very beautiful hall and had plenty of parking.
The hall also had a gorgeous patio overlooking a lovely lake that made for great pictures.
The administration staff were incredibly welcoming and great people to deal with.
Highly recommend booking them for events!

Wheel chair accessibility is horrible on the entrance by the big park by the town homes friend had to carry me down the stairs because there was no ramp at all!! And to make matters worse bird poop all over the dock someone should really clean that dock

I booked my baby shower and gender reveal here on July 12th. The weather was extremely hot hence why we decided to book inside vs outside. The booking was done 2-3 days prior to the event date which was no issue on our behalf but Mahogany stated that usually they don’t take last minuet bookings but would love to do this for us. I was wondering why the magnolia room was still available after weeks of availability but decided it was just my luck. Unfortunately, i was very very wrong. When booking i was told there were certain restrictions such as lake access which was no issue at all but that was about it.
Day of, i arrived and was met by a lady named Kiki who disclosed that the AC was broken and “ good luck “. Kikis comment rubbed me the wrong way as I was frustrated that this information such as the AC being broken was not disclosed before hand. This information would have immediately made me change my mind for this booking as it was 30+ degrees.
We had guest leave early, advised not to even show up due to the heat, lots off drinks and food/ treats thrown away due to melting and getting bad, baby’s crying, parents going in and out to catch some air with their children and more. And for me, as the event host and mother to be, i was dizzy, feeling very sick, overheating and also had to go in and out of my own event. Guest were sweating and getting irritable so we rushed my event and ended it early.
Once it became unbearable i asked Kiki for some fans.. Kiki disclosed that the fans had to be rented before hand and the event upstairs already booked them all. I was even more furious as if i knew the AC was broken, i would have rented the fans before hand. Not only are we let in the heat with nothing to cool us down, Kiki also forbid us from opening the room door to allow fresh air in because it was an emergency exit. Which to me was a surprise because a week or two prior, we came to look at the venue and there was another event going on and they had the door wide open no problems.
After complaining on phone call to the event manager, Sally, she informed me that Kiki relayed the wrong information. 1. The door was able to open as it isn’t alarmed and as a booker, we had all right to use that door. 2. The fans did not have to be rented and I should have been given some and last but not least, 3. Kiki is known as an easily overwhelmed person (as stated by Sally) and that is why information she gave was incorrect.
After a whole month of waiting for a response and proper compensation, i got an email back only granting a $250 refund with little to no regards to my complaint. They thought sending less than half of what i paid was enough and they didn’t need to take any accountability or even take time to further discuss this issues with me. What a nice way to run a company, just brushing your clients away.
I was met with so many excuses such as “ manager on vacation “ “away from office” or anything to get away from responding. Once I finally got a response it was a pitty apology and a “here’s some change for your troubles”.

I wasted hundreds on food, make up and hair that just melted off, a big venue for 60 guest when over 30 either did not come due to me letting them know to stay home due to the conditions of heat and to protect themselves and their children and because lots of guest left due to the unbearable heat.

Not only did they ruin my event, they distressed me and my unborn child and ruined my first ever party for my first baby. All guest suffered and also was so frustrated with the outcome as they couldn’t enjoy their time as well.

Please don’t book here. They break contracts, avoid fixing their mess, and lie about things that should be disclosed asap and more. Unless you want a headache and to feel like you’re stuffed in an oven with workers who only care for themselves, book else where. Also keep in mind my tables and chairs were not even in the room when i arrived which delayed us more and pushed my party further.

Staff is so unprofessional and dismissive.

It is completely free to come and enjoy and the parking is not far away.

I would imagine that this place would be perfect for either family portraits or wedding photos too.

Great location and beautiful surroundings! Loved this location for the Candlelight series. This is a beautiful and intimate space for such an amazing experience. Very clos to Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant to have a bite before or after.

Our family hosted a wedding here and we were delighted with the ambiance, set up and service. Very happy. Location is amazing. Would have given 5 stars. A bit disappointed however with the bathroom situation. Only 3 restroom stalls - one men's and 2 women's. One of the women's stalls was out of service and so the door was just locked and no one to fix it. Created lines waiting for the restroom. The odor coming from them created a not-so welcoming addition to the entrance to the venue but I'm sure it will all be rectified after the long weekend. All in all, we enjoyed the venue and the beautiful ambiance it created for the wedding.

Old port Montreal, an amazing place to visit if you are going to Montreal, the summer vibe was at the full swing and people are so nice and friendly the variety of food outlet and other shops were just too good. One can enjoy the live music at most of the streets with amazing musician and playing with even the old forgotten instruments, the desert shops is another plus. Great time to spend and its all on foot.

Great place to visit and enjoy several fun activities like boating, zip lining, Ferris wheel, etc. The seating area beside the river is super scenic. Designated paid parking is available just beside the river area for 35 dollars.

A nice place to visit all year round. Ride on the ferris wheel is a great experience.

The information and interactive part of the exposition was great. I recommend going after 3pm or even on a weekend because when I went there was multiple schools groups there. The unpleasant part is when the kids would cut infront of the other people. All in all, an interesting exposition.

Very beautiful place. It would give you european vibes. There are lot of summer activities going on which you can enjoy. Must try the wheel and you will get the whole city view. There are many cute patios around to eat.

Just celebrated my 30th birthday at Plaza Universel a few weeks ago and let me tell you, I am still in awe on how amazing it was. From day 1 to meeting Vic, to the planning up until the end of my party it was just an amazing experience, stress free, and just perfect. Vic and his team were there for me every step of the way.
My guests are still talking to me about the food, the high quality menu and service. Everything was fantastic, the menu itself, the portions, the service...I have no words. The team was incredible, our waiters. They took care of my guests and made us feel like family. There is no doubt I would host all my future events here. I would recommend Plaza Universel in a heartbeat.

I attended my niece’s bridal shower at this venue on May 25th, 2025 and it was such a wonderful experience that I felt the need to write a review. I was so impressed with the beautiful renovations that were done to this iconic building that has been around for many years-it’s a must see. The staff were amazing-professional and so kind and helpful. The owners were also present at the event. They tended to our every need and were a major contributor to the success of the event! I was blown away with the artistic presentation of the food and it was just as tasty and delicious as it was presented 😋 The newly renovated spaces, the great quality of food and exceptional service is a hidden gem on Preston. I highly recommend this place-you will love it!

I've been to two conferences here, with no complaints. The food was quite good, the sound system was excellent, and very well laid out, with a breakout room.

We had our wedding here this month and I cannot say enough great things about the venue and the staff. They were extremely responsive, helped us every step of the way including accommodating our every request the night of. Abbas was extremely present throughout the evening, not only checking in on the bride and groom but every room in the venue ensuring guests were taken care of. They communicated with our vendors to make the day run smoother and allowed us access to the venue prior to the event to add our own finishing touches. The food was incredible, and Yousef was extremely accommodating by adding any items we wanted to the menu. The renovations they've done really make the whole space pop. I highly recommend contacting them for any event.

Attended a charity event at the Preston event center last week, the venue is splendid, food was exceptional, and the service was stellar. I haven’t heard about this place before but I was greatly surprised ! A great event center, near downtown with parking !! I will definitely reach out to them if I have any event coming up !

My wife and I stayed here for the last three nights of our honeymoon. This picture perfect ranch overlooking Eagle Lake was the perfect way for us to unwind and say "see ya later" to Canada. The cabin was perfect, complete with a real fireplace and a beautiful view. We made fast friends with both Ryan and Kara whose warm, sincere, hospitality, truly made us feel like more than just guests. My wife and I both recommend the ranch hand experience with Ryan. We both had fun spending up close time with the animals and learning how to rope. This place is a little slice of peace and quiet close enough to Banff to be the perfect base of operations if you so choose, but definitely a worthy destination vacation on its own! What a beautiful little spot, the quick getaway needed from the city but yet so close. spent a couple of days with the family, kids loved it. Cabin was spacious, super clean, well maintained with very nice little touches. Hot tub, fire pit and a BBQ as well. Lots of room for the kids to roam free, some animals on the farm that the kids enjoyed watching. Fairly well priced and very easily to communicate with the owner. Looking forward to another visit.

I was extremely disappointed with the way the RRR handled our booking. They didn’t get along with our wedding planner so they completely ruined our wedding experience. They went over an initial contract that my husband and I signed. And then TWO WEEKS before the wedding day, they wanted to change the contract with a TON of wacky conditions to add extra charges. We couldn’t use the bathroom without added charges, the reception would have been over by 10 PM when it was originally not stated, guests can’t wander the property if they aren’t apart of pictures. Just a bunch of controlling rules. The day of the wedding my planner wouldn’t have been allowed on the property. My husband is a DJ and when they found out they added this clause

“ 4.3 DJ’s & Music Providers: Any vendors providing music services must be respectful in regards to the level of volume. If it is deemed that any music is too loud or disruptive, the Company reserves the right to ask the vendor to reduce the volume, change the song, or shut down completely.”

Because they considered this a cancel (based on the first signed contract they said was not valid cause “they didn’t sign”) they kept all our money and we had to pay for a new venue 2 weeks before the day. I was gonna sue for my money back but I would rather not interact with these people again. I texted them and emailed for our money back with no luck. So I reported it after the wedding to the BBB and they threatened to criminally charge us in their response through the BBB. Then after my wedding the owner texts me asking us to come out for a drink cause this isn’t how they wanted this to go. So expect added charges if you go here.

In their response, they still blamed my wedding planner for taking my money and canceling our wedding. No accountability for ruining someone's wedding planning experience. I am SO SO happy we found the spot we did to make the day successful.

My husband and I had our wedding at Rockin R last August. From day one we knew we wanted a ranch wedding and Rockin R was the perfect backdrop. From the first day we toured the venue until our Wedding Kara and her husband were amazing. They worked with us on any request that we had and accommodated everything we wanted for our day. They have made an amazing venue for weddings or anything else you want to celebrate. We cannot wait to go back and create more memories at the Ranch.

If you’re considering booking - just do it! This place is so special, and the owners are fantastic. I had an incredible stay. The sunset was just magical. Make sure you book an experience like riding or roping. Pack your outdoor/riding shoes, and I’d advise having your own vehicle too. Don’t forget swimwear for the hot tub :) I can’t wait to be back here at Rocking R with friends and family.

I had a terrible experience with Santo Cristo Banquet Hall. They are completely unresponsive—no one answers phone calls or replies to emails, making it impossible to get any information or book with confidence. On top of that, the location details are inaccurate and will not even get you to the right place. Overall, the service is unreliable and incredibly inconvenient. I strongly recommend avoiding this venue if you’re looking for professionalism and good customer service.

The hall was absolutely beautiful, clean and organized. Ed was polite, respectful, and well accommodating. He made the entire process smooth and easy. Looking forward to having more events here in the coming future.

Nice layout and vibe at this hall. The welcoming lobby space and adjacent main hall share sliding doors between the two bars. Nicely decorated, the coloured lights were pleasing and tables were spaced out well with lots of room for the dance floor. Clean washroom facilities. Staff was pleasant. Plenty of parking.

Just had a multicultural wedding at the banquet hall. The hall is big and fairly new. Has all the amenities that a function would need. From multi lighting options, great dancing floor, and optional 2 bars. Working with Edgar, was a pleasure.

Nadia the event coordinator is not pleasant to talk to. I called her for information about the venue and as soon as I asked her if she speaks English her tone changed. She didn’t let me finish my sentences before she answered my questions with a one word sentence. I told her that I am interested in their caterer and bar service but 10 of my guests will need kosher food, and asked her if it’s okay for me to bring a third party vendor just for one of the tables, she said no. Not a good experience off the bat!

Went to a co-worker wedding at this location. Beautiful space. If the food comes with renting of the hall, then it's wonderful add-on.

I went there for a wedding reception, really good service from all the employees. They are very welcoming and attentive. Beautiful rooms for dancing evenings and even for live bands!!

We rented chairs for our wedding from Special Event Rentals and had a wonderful experience. Nice chairs MAKE A DIFFERENCE! Worth every penny. Special shout out to Debbie who was always kind and great to connect with even though I had endless questions and little changes. Another shout out to the delivery folks who were perfectly on time and to the warehouse staff. We returned our chairs via uhaul and the warehouse staff gave great instructions to make sure everything was returned perfectly. The chairs are so nice and they weren't heavy, I was able to help organize them at/after the event, and at the same time they were sturdy and durable. We went with the chiavari mesh back chairs and they matched the fall cozy fairy vibe I was going for. Thank you!

Weekend pricing was a crazy amount at $459 for both drop off and pickup. So I made arrangements to have pickup on the Monday, to save some money. I had to fight to get anything back. and it was not what I expected at all... At least the setup crew was great and quick.
Kim was so unprofessional. Was even going to give me the wrong size tables when they had the correct size. Never use them again.

The team at Special Event Rentals Calgary is beyond wonderful. I cannot thank them enough. From Ms. Kim who managed all of our rental bookings and changes without one misstep, to the team in the warehouse who work so hard to make sure nothing is missed, all the way to the drivers Dale and Manelo who dealt with on the spot changes when they arrived to deliver at the venue.

Our school graduation was perfect because of the exceptional team at SER Calgary. Thank you, thank you, thank you for everything, you help us create a beautiful and memorable event.

Some of the staff was really rude and when trying to ask a question , getting responses that made me feel like I was stupid for asking. Furthermore, I was starting to feel untrusted in the store when I had them falling me over because I was lost on what I needed but didn't dare ask them for help any longer. I believe they were quick to judge people. And made a point of letting a person know when your not wanted in their store. Worst experience ever coming from a small town that o would normally praise that the small town stores normally give excellent customer service. So anyone looking for those building materials etc just stick to the canadain tire around the corner

I’ve been in a few times and they were very helpful. I went in today to spend $130 and as walked in a young sales assistant told me enthusiastically I had to have my reusable bag at the checkout.! I assume they were pre-accusing me of being a thief which doesn’t leave a great taste in the mouth. Never had any store do this before and not sure why I was humiliated at the entrance when I was happy to support a local store. Will not be going back.

The guy in charge of closing the store at this store location on August 26, 2025 at 7:54pm, should be retrained in customer service. I approached to enter the store at 7:54pm and he could not let me in because he felt I was too late and the store was closing in 5mins. I have gone to other stores like Walmart and just a minute before closing and they have let me in. I am very disappointed by this treatment. I have had very pleasant experience shopping at this store in the past and really treated well by other customer associates, but this fella's understanding of good customer service leaves much to be desired.

New facility in Strathmore near Hwy 1, this is the home of the Falcons with 2 volleyball courts, indoor soccer and open gym. Day passes are dirt cheap,definitely come back here again when we come for hockey tournament.

The staff there are nice. Seems like it would be a fun facility to do activities at (pickleball, badminton, basketball, etc)

I absolutely love the ability to use an indoor track. I do wish it had the same schedule flexibility a 24/hour gym would have but I'm enjoying it 😊

Went in spent money for a group of people to go in they had told us one court was booked til 6:30 but right after we got in they kicked us off the court saying all of them were booked for the entire night entire waste of time and money and gas and they didn’t even offer a refund disappointed that the staff lied to us we’re only in for 5 minutes before we left

I recently had a wedding event at The Baron and had an absolute amazing experience. From inquiring about the event to executing it, it was perfect. Thr staff was super accommodating especially with last minute changes. The food was incredible! They helped with setup and take down and did everything to ensure we had a great experience.

The price point is ideal for small to large groups. Plenty of hotels close by with an added discount. My out of town guests were close to the airport and major highways

Ill 100% use this venue again and will hire them for catering events also!

I cannot say enough good things about this space and the team at The Baron. From the moment I reached out and even after our event Shae, Sarah and her team have been so highly organized, friendly, and supportive.
I hosted our company awards gala at this space in February and was so happy with how everything turned out! The staff had everything organized ahead of time and were so easy to work with. We encountered some sound issues during our presentation which the staff helped out tremendously with. The food and drinks were lovely and our attendees loved how much parking was available!
We’re excited to host our 2025 events with them!

The Baron was amazing to work with for our October wedding! The space checked off all the boxes for the mood of our wedding. The food was so delicious and had a great variety to choose from. The staff was always responsive and provided top-tier service. Highly recommend if you are looking for an intimate gathering for a great price!

My program's graduation party was held at the Baron and it was such a wonderful event. The venue itself is a fantastic space - very intimate yet open. Both before and during the event the staff were incredibly helpful, had great communication, and took care of all details. Guests raved about the buffet and were so impressed with how well the kitchen accommodated a variety of dietary restrictions including halal, vegetarian, gluten free, nut free, and lactose intolerant. Everyone was also really happy with the variety of drinks and pricing at the bar.
