Excellent! Came to our highrise with truck. Paid by building owners. Two very nice young men served us with great bbq food and kindness!

They catered our employee appreciation day lunch at the beerstore and a good amount of my coworkers including myself felt ill in the hours after. Considering we all tried different food thats not a good sign. The food was also giving to us Luke warm at best. Would not recommend.

Went here for lunch while on course for work,( 3 days in a row ) everything about this place is great , food was delicious, staff is awesome, prices are very affordable, and they even have a roulette game to see if you win your meal for half price. If your in the area , put this at the top of your list for places to try

I had the worst chicken burger in my life. It's simply tasted like card board. I am not in anyway exaggerating it. The quality of hotdog and burger are at the worst it could be. They are buying some dirt cheap stuffs and there's no meat content in the burgers. If you are planning to cater them for your event STAY AWAY form this guys.

This charming place offers lunch and snacks (I highly recommend the cinnamon buns!). Kim started slaving away in her home kitchen to bring her home cooked deliciousness to catered events. As the business grew into favorable love, she expanded to this cafe... where you can stop by for lunch or a snack without an invite to her home :). Friendly people, wholesome food!

The fish and chips was pretty good I enjoyed my meal although I wish the fish was haddock and not pollock. For the price you pay best bang for your buck in Strathmore.

Excellent breakfast for only $6.99, including coffee (and all the cream you want.) The eggs are always perfect no matter which way I asked them to be cooked. The Cook came out to ask customers how they enjoyed their meal. Awesome place!

Great food at a reasonable price. Service is great. Part of our order got lost in the shuffle on a very busy evening (not a free seat in the place). Didn't complain, they picked up on it right away. Had to wait an extra 15 minutes or so, no big deal. Tried to pay, they comped the whole bill, and gave us pie!!! They had me at free home made pie!!! Have been there a dozen times at least, that was the only hiccup to speak of. Breakfast special every day until 11. $6 or $7 for a full breakfast. Just as fast as the McDicks here and 100 times the quality for breakfast. Can't go wrong!!!

This place is now called PJ,S. We had a family outing 4 adults and 2 children. Food was fantastic, big portions, tasty and it was presented well. Our waitress was very attentive, and frequently came back to make sure our needs were met. All entrees came with either soup or salad and at the end a piece of soooooo good pie all for under $15. Kids eat free after 4 so our total bill was under $65. This was our first time here but will most certainly not be our last. 5 stars for sure. And the owner/chef e cdn came and talked to us. Fantastic

Margo Caribbean & Canadian Restaurant is a true gem! From the moment you walk in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always quick with a smile, which adds so much to the overall experience.

The food is absolutely outstanding — bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The beef and pork are tender and seasoned beautifully, the fried chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and the stew chicken tastes like pure comfort on a plate. The sides are just as impressive: the spicy coleslaw has the perfect kick, the rice & peas are flavorful and hearty, and the macaroni salad is creamy and delicious. Everything pairs together so well, it’s hard to pick a favorite!

The combination of top-notch service, authentic flavors, and a relaxed, welcoming vibe makes Margo’s a place you’ll want to come back to again and again. If you’re looking for amazing Caribbean and Canadian dishes, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

Server was nice and the restaurant had a homey, hole-in-the-wall vibe, but the food was expensive for what we got.

If you get a meal and a drink, after tax it would be ~$40 per person. I got multiple meals because it was my first time trying this Haitian place, but I unfortunately will not be coming back.

The fish and the beef were seasoned well but very dry. The menu listed that the whole fish is $25-30 so you will get charged somewhere in that range (I got charged $30).

The fried chicken was also seasoned well, but felt hard to bite (dry). Photo is of the large-sized fried chicken set. The sauce was tasty though! But for $26 (pre-tax) I was hoping that the chicken pieces would be juicier and easier to chew.

The bottled drinks were $7 each (got the limonade). It was my first time trying Haitian lemon soda “limonade”, and it was nice and easy to drink, but for $7 felt a bit expensive.

The pikliz were nice to try—they have a strong vinegar taste so you’d enjoy them if it you like vinegar chips or vinegar soaked fries.

The fried plantains were also nice—they are comparable to having fried potatoes so it was nice to try.

If it’s your first time trying Haitian food it would be interesting to visit, but it is expensive for what you get.

If I ever visit again in the future I wish to see that the restaurant improves its fried food. Their seasoning was tasty and I think I would’ve enjoyed the food more if the meat dishes were less dry.

We’re visiting from New York and Florida with 9 Haitians, 4 of which were over 90 and everyone loved the food! They accommodated my elderly family members and made us feel at home! All of our food was cooked to perfection, everything really felt like a home cooked meal. The owners (sorry I didn’t catch your names) even turned the music up and we danced for a while in the restaurant, it was so much fun! It was so spontaneous but such a memorable time for my family and I and my family loved getting to connect with fellow Haitians! If you’re ever in the area you have to stop by for some authentic Haitian food and great energy from the most kind hearted people ❤️ can’t wait to come back!

I’ve been supporting Margo since their very first location. The food is still good—but the service has really gone downhill.

I came in today, rang the bell, and the young woman working saw me but ignored me. I rang again and waved. When she finally came, she acted like I was bothering her.

I ended up waiting 22 minutes for a simple order of plantains and griyo. What I got was mostly meat crumbs—it was obvious the person didn’t even check the plate before handing it over.

The place wasn’t even busy. There were only three customers—myself and a couple.

I’m not giving up on Black-owned businesses, but I truly believe you can level up and do better. The food is worth it, but the service needs to match.

Meal was very tasty. Kinda like home cooked food mom would make when visiting.

Tried other items in the past but the meatballs tonight were a first.

Will definitely try ordering more often.

Lunch staple for the airport crowd. Breakfast is solid and Sunday dinner is not to be missed.

For the order I dealt with Aya who put me at ease confirming they could help. Patrice delivered everything on time, even early to set up.

I was impressed with the linens, abundant plates, napkins, and condiments which Patrice returned for in the afternoon.

The food was absolutely stellar. Hot, tasted delicious and came out quickly for all 136 guests.
Took off 1 star as their communication was not the greatest. We were paired with someone who only worked in the office part time, so she was never there to reply to questions or make changes to our quote. We usually had to wait at least a week to hear back from someone, even after replying to their email right away!
The alcohol was not watered down at the bar and they made our signature drink PERFECTLY!
They were great with our seating chart, and not one guest had any negative things to say about the food or alcohol!

We had the pleasure of working with Bytown Catering for our wedding, and we couldn’t be more satisfied with both the food and the service they provided.

David Smith and Creative Kosher Catering exceeded all expectations by catering my son’s Bar Mitzvah. David is a consummate professional in every way.

Our brunch was gorgeous, the food was outstanding (we received many, many compliments), his staff anticipated our needs before we could even ask for anything, and everything ran like a well-oiled machine. I do not know how he does it, but he has clearly refined his craft.

The cheese bagels and blintzes were amazing, and the entire event was like a beautiful dream. David is exceptionally generous with the amount and variety of food.

It was my first experience with creative catering during an event and it was ecstatic! Their chicken is soo juicy and tender I felt so bad I didn't know about them earlier! Even my son who doesn't eat much chicken, ate a lot that evening!

We’ve had several experiences attending parties catered by Creative Kosher. After those experiences, we have hired Creative Kosher on four occasions to cater in our home, two staff receptions, our sister in law’s birthday party and my best friend’s wedding. Ottawa’s lucky to have someone so talented, creative and who prepares delicious food. The events were worry-free, extremely professional and the food and presentation were spectacular. I believe David Smith is simply the best!

We had no idea what to expect, but upon mentioning we needed a Shiva Meal delivered, we were given a substantial list of many items including various meats, salads, sides and challot. The feedback from family was that the meal (which was actually many meals) was delicious with generous potions. We are very grateful to Creative Kosher Catering for prompt service, delivery and providing a delicious meal to our family at this difficult time.

We have used Creative Kosher Catering for multiple events over many years. Every time we hire their services we are met with professional staff, creative event designs, beautiful decor and outstanding food! I wouldn’t do an event in or around Ottawa without them. I have personally used their services for my Bat Mitzvah, family holidays, Birthday celebrations and my own Wedding. The whole team goes over and above expectation, producing the highest quality food and events.

I spat out the party sandwiches ( tuna had a weird taste and was very dry). The single cabbage roll required a steak knife to cut exposing a meatpie filling consistency and would have been welcomed if the same flavour was there; it was also emerged in an pool of orange water. I called to say that there might be something wrong with the sandwiches only to be told that I should have asked for more Mayonnaise. FYI: the customer service was excellent.

I just had the chopped liver. They changed something, it has a gritty thinner taste. But the worst part was the taste, it was like a mouthful of salt vile The onions were even worse. And i feel a little sick

Meat Cabbage rolls are very good as long as they provide enough juice. I also like their party sandwiches which I order specifically with only white bread, egg and tuna with EXTRA mayo.

Look, I don't make a habit out of buying ready-made food here. Why, you ask? It's expensive.
If you are prepared to spend, the good is good.
I only purchase their soup. Especially their cabbage soup. It's often too sweet, but if you add some sour salt or lemon juice when heating it up, it's much better. But that is a personal choice. Try it, you will probably like it. I have never bought a container of soup I didn't like. But I haven't tried them all. They do have a good selection.

Very disappointing They were selling mock chicken and calling it stuffed chicken. The turkey loaf was dry, the artichoke salad was vinegary. High prices.

We had Great Events cater our backyard wedding reception, and it couldn’t have gone more smoothly. Caroline was so kind and knowledgeable, helping us create a menu that fit us perfectly. On the day, the staff who came to set up were super friendly and efficient. The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portions and amazing quality. We’re so grateful to them for helping make our day special, and we’ll happily turn to Great Events for any future catering. I can’t recommend them enough.

The organization of the event and service team was top notch. The venue was very noisy and it was difficult to have a conversation with my party or even to enjoy the live music. The food was fine and there was plenty of it. For my taste it could have had more flavour. I will not be returning to this event.

Incredible is an understatement. Such an amazing place for wonderful Italian food. Top notch pastas, pizza, salads, sandwiches. Excellent coffee & pastries. Absolutely loved this place. It was my go to for brunch & dinner for 4 days straight. Exceptional customer service - wonderful team members everywhere, it was phenomenal. Chef is such a kind & cordial person. A perfect place for wonderful Italian cuisine & delicacies. A must visit spot in Calgary. Loved every bit of it. Hands down one of the best Italian place in Canada.

Just went in to check out this store, and wow, what a treat! The staff are very friendly and even had time to play with my toddler, plus showed me exactly what I was looking for. So-much-options!!! If you love Italian food/products, this place is a must!

My favourite places for comfort Italian food. Incredible sorbet, delicious pizza, great diversity of cheeses, cured meats, etc name it and you will find it at Lina!

Brittania - Lina Cucina has the best pasta Chef in Calgary. The other dishes created by the Chef are equally creative and delicious.

Sapore and Centre street: A wide diversity of dishes to take out (for lunch / dinner) or to eat on the spot. Both locations have a great but different vibe.

At Lina's Italian Market, I was thrilled to find a great selection of Halal lamb, including shanks, legs, and shoulders. They also carry the delicious Pistachio spread and an incredible variety of Italian sweets and biscuits. The quality and authenticity of their products are outstanding, and the staff is friendly and helpful. It's truly a gem for finding unique Italian and specialty items. Highly recommend!

We had brunch here for Mother's Day. I was a bit skeptical about going as I don't generally like buffets but my experience here was very good. Well laid out. Nice venue. The buffet had a good variety of hot and cold food that was replenished regularly. The staff were excellent, too.

For the past few years (except for the pandemic) the Christmas reception of the non-profit organization, which my daughter belongs to, has been taking place at the Sala San Marco. I have nothing but good comments for this place. The reception room is beautiful and grand. The catering company used are excellent. The food is good and plentiful. Their real key assets are their staff who is very pleasant, professional, quick, polite and friendly. As you can see, the family has become a fan of the Sala San Marco.

My husband and I recently celebrated our wedding event on August 15 2020 at Sala San Marco.

Our event was amazing and beautiful. The staff were great and sufficient. Always made sure my guest were content and had everything they needed. Michel the wedding director was a great help during my wedding preparations and during the pendemic. She kept me up to date on the pandemic health and safety protocols and guest list.
The venue was A+ so was the food. The stuff chicken was delicious, the broccoli soup was very flavorful... It was just delectable 😊
My venue was well decorated and ready when I arrived. Was I ever happy. The bathrooms were always cleaned and checked every 5 minutes or so... Which to me, was very important during the covid 19.
My husband and I are so happy that we were able to celebrate our wedding at the Sala San Marco during this hard scary time but yet we were not going to let covid win. Every one followed the protocols and Sala San Marco made sure of it as well.

Great food on our overseas flight to Europe. Before the flight I saw the crew bring CLS Catering Service container by the plain to load all the food. Really really delicious and plentiful. That firs photo was just appetizers and second photo is a fish dish, that was really tasty. My son had a short rib meal and he loved it. Really good food and way better then anything I have on the planes before. Good job guys.

Provides great quality food to airline customers. But you should try to visit the place just to meet the extra ordinary receptionist!!

We ordered on three separate occasions from EthniCity for some community sessions we were running. Maria, the manager at EthniCity, was such a pleasure to deal with throughout all of our interactions, many which included changes (some last minute!) from our end. John was always prompt and kind in his deliveries and pick-ups as well the food was delicious and fresh. The only feedback we got from one of our participants was that the gluten free option (a wrap) was not anywhere near as delicious as the food the non-gluten-free people were eating. Perhaps having more options and more similar options for the gluten-free people would make this a better experience for them.

Really happy that we chose EthniCity to cater our non-profit event. Maria made excellent recommendations to ensure that we kept our guests satisfied. The appetizers and desserts were SO good!

The food was flavourful, fresh and delivered hot. The staff were excellent to deal with. The chicken kofka and samosas were favorites.

We used EthniCity for a corporate event that happened later in the date. I love that the org is a social enterprise offering a wide variety of catering options; they were able to accommodate dietary needs and were easy to work with. Would recommend to any corp looking to order catering!

It was so easy to place the order, with Ethnicity, Maria was amazing. We ordered the Christmas turkey dinner, veggie moussaka and samosas. Food was fabulous, taste of delicious homemade food; delivery was made in time and customer support was awesome. Lots of people came the second time to take food, this is how much they liked it and we have some very picky eaters. Keep up the great work, Ethnicity Catering. We will definitely order again!

We used Gentile for our mother's funeral in January. The service, attention to detail as well as the food was fabulous. We used them again for a backyard reception in July. The food was delicious, the service was timely, courteous and extremely professional. 3 friends have used them as a result of these events. I would use Gentile again for any event we will host.

The Gentile staff arranged a wonderful reception for my mother's "celebration of life". The venue was the perfect size, and very well laid out, allowing guests to mingle.
The food was excellent and the gentleman serving us did a wonderful job making sure people felt welcome.

The passing of our dear mother, was extremly difficult for my siblings and myself, along with her sisters in law's and brother in law and all her nieces and nephews and friends. I know that she would have been very happy to see us all together reminiscing. We gathered for a special meal in her honor, that Gentile Venues and catering prepared for us. It was absolutely amazing. Special thanks to everyone at Gentile Venues. Many thanks to Josette,who helped with the planning and our waiter, Pierre for their outstanding work.

We had our wedding at Rooftop Le Un. It is truly a wonderful venue. The staff, service and food are all top notch. I would highly recommend. Also, Justin is a big star!!

Used them for a funeral, had no choice as they have a exclusive contract with funeral home...very very expensive for what you get. food was just ok but very small portions. Felt like we got taken advantage in a vulnerable situation. will not use them again for sure. The server however was nice and efficient so i give him 1 star.

I met with My Caterer to cater my wedding when it was going to be held at the Museum of Science and Technology and had a couple of meal planning conversations. Unfortunately we didn't end up going with that venue, which was disappointing because I was very excited about the menu and the creative serving ideas he had. Met was very laid back and easy going, yet professional and knowledgeable. He was extremely nice, quick to communicate and correspond, and I'm sure had we stuck with the venue that they would have done a fabulous job.

I would definitely recommend My Caterer. We, as a company, have been dealing with them for a while and food quality and presentation have always surpassed our expectations. Met is always quick to respond, communicative and helpful. Thank you for the great service!

We hosted a backyard event of around 25 people and Tulips & Maple were great! The communication leading up to the event with the coordinator Heather was clear, understanding, and supportive. Onsite, the team was professional and on the ball: Steve helped with the setup, and then Cole and Raj did a great job serving our event. Communication was friendly, clear, and easy, as well as thoughtful in terms of finding the right moment to check in on questions or next steps. The food was delicious, fresh, and very nicely displayed. Thank you for the great experience!

We had Tulips & Maple cater our wedding. Heather, our coordinator and main point of contact, was fantastic for the entire planning process. She made everything incredibly easy and stress-free and helped us really create the menu we wanted. Then on the day of the wedding the team provided great service throughout, accommodating all of our last-minute scheduling changes and all the quirks of a wedding reception. The food and service were both excellent and all of our guests left happy!

Tulips and Maple catered my wedding this past weekend. Everything was phenomenal from start to finish. Coordinating details with Heather was effortless--she was incredibly organized, friendly, and responsive. It was also so great that we were able to go to an Open House event to do a tasting before finalizing the menu. On the day of the wedding, everything went so smoothly I hadn't even noticed they had arrived. When it was time to go into the dining hall for dinner, the tables were set, the wine was ready to be served, and all of the glassware that they provided was beautiful. The waitstaff were so so friendly and they made their job seem effortless. The food was phenomenal and was served very quickly and efficiently. I recieved so much positive feedback from the guests that they loved the food. I had made the mistake of forgetting to provide steak knives for the steak (it was my choice to provide the cutlery for the dinner). The steak was so exceptional that guests were able to cut it with regular dinner knives no problem. Likewise with their arrival, I didn't even notice the cleanup and them leaving. I was able to just sit back and enjoy everything. I would use this company again in a heart beat!!!

Tulips & Maple (T & M) recently catered my daughter's wedding. We were delighted with the meal served. Many of the guests commented on how much they enjoyed their meal, myself and the groom included.

The service provided by the staff was professional, efficient, and pleasant. Special shout out to Bea, our bartender for her very cheerful and fun manner.

I also wanted to commend the T & M staff for going the extra mile when a portion of another contractor's equipment failed. T & M jumped in and helped remedy the situation quickly. Very much appreciated.

I would highly recommend T & M and would not hesitate to use their services again.

We used Tulips and Maple to cater our 120-person wedding in July and had a great experience! Heather was excellent to work with from the beginning and was so patient and helpful as I navigated the ups and downs of wedding planning and choosing food options. T&M was able to accommodate the many dietary restrictions that my guests and I need, which was great and meant a lot. The service during the wedding was excellent and they were also so helpful with other things like serving the cake and boxing up the extra desserts for guests to take home. The food was great and I would definitely recommend T&M to anyone in need of a caterer for their event!

Food is expensive and they won’t allow you to grab juice with combo. Only soda. Grilled chicken was rubbery and not fully cooked or seasoned. Won’t come back.

We ordered the cocktail bites catering service for our small intimate wedding of 50 people.
The food was amazing, our guests kept asking us about the caterer and we were so happy to tell them about La Petite Mangue. The bites were so delicious and appreciated by our guests. Namely, there were many compliments for the salmon mango tartare, the crispy noodle cup with vegetables and grilled chicken, the Vietnamese beef salad, the shrimp lemongrass and the roasted duck mini wraps.
I had concerns about different allergies from guests and Dylida provided all the information and help necessary for us to properly host our guests.

We chose La Petite Mangue to cater our small wedding. The food was excellent with god choices incl. Vegetarian. All our guests were very satisfied and full. They supplied the heating equipment.

This is an overdue post. I catered with them for my newborn's birthday party and every single dish was so delicious! I have since relocated back to my home country but still Canadian friends are asking for the caterer for their own parties. They also provide a server for your entire party so your guests don't have to serve themselves. Highly recommended! :)

The food was so amazing. They delivered and set up the food in an efficient way for our event. All the guests loved the food!

Food was okay but I will not be ordering from this place again for the single reason that they use styrofoam to package their food. 6 containers out of 8 were styrofoam which are not recyclable and toxic. There are many affordable eco friendly and biodegradable options out there; styrofoam is by far the worst and I will not support toxic garbage. It’s also very bad for our own health: “When used with food products, especially when heated, Styrofoam releases toxic chemicals into the food causing a contamination which can be hazardous to your health In addition, when exposed to sunlight,Styrofoam creates harmful air pollutants which contaminate landfills and deplete the ozone layer.”

$22 dollars for this , it’s even smaller in person. Charging the same price as a sit down restraunt for half the size is insane , butter chicken was cold . I’m really upset as I used to love coming here but it’s just daylight robbery and for the quality it’s definetly not worth it

I have been coming here for years for lunch as I work in the area and this location is basically connected to the subway. Recently I've tried out the breakfast buffet & have been going over the last few months. There are usually many options to choose from. It is very expensive though and I wouldn't say it's worth it but if you want a full meaI quickly, it's a good stop. After they weigh the meal its either equivalent or more expensive than a sit down restaurant. I started getting the breakfast plate instead and I've been pretty disappointed. One day I'll have a nice portion and then the next day I'll get half the amount and the worst pieces of bacon/sausage... Maybe because it's slightly cheaper to get the plate instead of the same items in the buffet. Anyway, I'm not happy with the staff/service over the last few months so after over 5 years, I will no longer be coming here :(

Surprisingly spacious basement restaurant downtown. Lunch buffets offer a take out option. Fill a styrofoam container for take out for $10. Food was plentiful and was replenished quickly. Dishes change every day and even on the same day. Lots of options to choose from. A bit limited in terms of bar selections but should be a great place for large parties.

Went there with school for a trip. I expected something quite fancy and all. Was disappointed. First of all because they made us sit at 3 big tables with uncomfortable chairs instead of letting us go to the part with the white chairs. Then there was the food. This was not really a buffet actually... Meatballs (they were really really good but they gave us like... 3 each and they were so small), cafeteria vegetables, some cold cheese and seafood mix, fries (they were sooooo tasty), salads and weird pizza breads (cold too). The dessert seemed delicious but I didn't have the occasion to take a piece of it since I was too late and there was not enough. The beverages were cans of Diet Coke and water bottles I think. Oh, and how could I forget the annoying DJ-like ambiance music.

Prinzo is not that bad and I didn't find it disgusting... But from a place calling itself a fine caterer, I was highly disappointed.

Food is always excellent, service is perfect! All you can eat buffet, changing menu everyday! They have a super deal this summer for take out, for 10$ (including tx) they give you a plate that you fill out as much as you want. These plates worth at least 20$ at places like Olly Fresco's and Marcello's buffet. The quality of food is not comparable.

Prinzo catered my son's wedding. The manager stayed on site for the entire event, supporting us and helping us every step of the way.
When I looked around at our guests, I saw that everyone was eating, enjoying themselves, we had plenty of food, the portions were generous and all of my guests raved about how amazing the food tasted!
