We had the absolute pleasure of working with Urban Element for our son's rehearsal dinner (July 10, 2025) and I cannot say enough good things about the experience. From start to finish, they were outstanding.
The food was spectacular-though it wasn't a sit-down dinner, the combination of beautifully passed appetizers and a thoughtfully curated grazing table made for a truly elevated experience. The passed bites were served with impeccable timing and care, while the grazing table offered a stunning variety that guests couldn't get enough of.
Every bite was beautifully crafted, bursting with flavour, and presented with elegance and creativity. Guests kept commenting on how each item was more delicious than the last. It was re fined, exciting and absolutely memorable - nothing typical or expected about it. People are still taking about the food!
But just as impressive was the level of service. The entire team was professional, warm, and attentive, making everyone feel cared for and special.
Every detail was thoughtfully executed, and the event ran like clockwork. Urban Element not only met our expectations - they far exceeded them. It's rare to find a team that combines culinary excellence with such genuine hospitality and seamless organization.

Our family fully enjoyed Urban Element’s turkey dinner. The portions were substantial, more than enough for 8 people to have healthy servings and there were even left overs for guests to take home. I placed a large order from the frozen food menu last week. I will start with what we did not enjoy... The Potato & Leek soup was good, the potato to leek ratio and the texture was perfect however, a bit too much onion and garlic and could have used a pinch more salt but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Now on to the GOOD stuff - Roasted Chicken thighs were cooked to perfection, paired with cabbage and potatoes that were amazing. Beef Lasagna was my son's favorite and he did not want to share lol. BBQ pulled pork Mac and Cheese was my favorite and was exceptional!! Even my picky daughter was amazed. Tonight we will indulge in Sweet Potato & Brocolli Mac & Cheese. The packaging and cooking instructions were clear and concise. Being a hockey mom has it's own challenges and dinner is often one of them and takeout has become a norm for us. Well... not anymore. Having these frozen dinners available, my kids can pop them in the oven and have dinner before I get home to run them to their hockey practices or games. I will definetely be a return customer (in fact I've already placed my sencond order)!! I can't wait to test the desserts!!

What a wonderful experience! From start to end, we loved working with Vert. We are so lucky to have found them to cater our wedding and customize our menu with us. We loved the food, the presentation and everyone is still raving about how awesome the food tasted at our wedding. I would do it all over again just to eat the leftovers! Thank you guys for all you did for us. It was a magical day, and the leftovers kept me fed for a week after. WE LOVED IT!! 10 stars if I could!

Delicious lunch boxes for our company lunch and learn. Great variety in boxes including salad, artisnal chips, and sandwiches. The sandwiches were generously filled and all ingredients were fresh and delicious. I especially liked their steak sandwiches with chili lime sauce. The company was able to address our dietary concerns also.

Seriously the best food around. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you know you’re getting real quality food. The steak sandwich is the best steak sandwich I’ve ever had. No word of a lie. And the blueberry pancakes?! I can guarantee no diner in the city compares.
The atmosphere at Opera Bobs is amazing and friendly, watching the games is always a great time, but it’s the food from Vert Catering that first brought me in. It’s really that good.
And to top it all off, Marilyn and Pedro are two of the sweetest, most stand up people you’ll ever meet.

What can I say about the AMAZING Selwyn, founder of the Art of Food Catering! For many years, I’ve experienced his fine cuisine and unique takes on Caribbean dishes on various occasions (ie wedding, funerals, community functions)..and each time he knocks it out of the park!! Whenever I’m compelled to ask about the chef, countless times I would see the same familiar face, buzzing about preparing, serving and overseeing his masterpieces.

This week, I had the pleasure of celebrating the 85th birthday (..you heard me right!) of the Honorable Jean Augustine, at the Jean Augustine Centre for Young Women’s Empowerment, catered by yours truly. What was seemingly finger food, turned out to be my first ever “Jamaican Jerk Sliders”…Wickedly good!! (And I’m not ashamed to say, I sampled more than my fingers could handle, lol). I finally met whom I will dub a “Kitchen Hero”, for the many Caribbean communities he’s served over the years. Not only does he have a successful business, but his own cookbook too!!

Not sure if there’s a chain of food trucks or an upscale downtown restaurant in his future, but Toronto needs more Chef Selwyn!! But whatever his next move is..I’m here for it!! Bless up🙏🏽

I organize monthly lunches for our team of 10 and I am so glad that I came across Art of Food! Everything is wonderful; from ordering the food, to the delivery and set up, to the price. The portions and quality are good and everyone in the office has had only good things to say about ordering from here and have insisted; most have asked that we make this our regular place to order from. I highly recommend the fajitas for a group lunch, but the kebabs were great too! I think next month we will be trying out their Stuffed Sole and smashed potatoes.

Art of Food catered our daughter’s baby naming party, and everything was literally incredible! The food was super fresh and delicious. One of our guests said it was the best tuna she’s ever tasted, and another complimented how beautiful the presentation was and how delicious it was. They even included edible flowers! We were so happy. Hana was a pleasure to work with, so patient and knowledgeable. We referred to her for many of our selections and it could not have been better. Would use them again in a heartbeat!!!

I ordered for an annual meeting in the condo building I work in.
The food was delivered, quickly, carefully and efficiently. The display looked great, I recommend the sushi boats. Everyone complimented the delicious food and I had the opportunity to try it again. This is our second year ordering with Art of Food and we will be continuing this tradition next year.

We have used Big City Catering Services quite a few times and they never disappoint. It cannot be easy catering for a group of almost 60 people which included gluten free and vegetarian options, and still provide great food. Their prices are great and they are always on time with their deliveries. You cannot go wrong with Big City Catering Services!

Big City catered my sister’s wedding last weekend and we can’t say enough of the food. The salmon was delicious and brisket was slow cooked and tender. Staff were pleasant and helpful with our guests. Highly recommend these guys

Cantina Di Nonna caters to my son's school and the kids are raving how good the food is. My son loves the food and is asking me to order again and again for hot lunch. They beat the previous hot lunch cater and so happy the school finally changed caters. Cantina Di Nonna food is served fresh and hot to him for lunch. Kids are loving the food at school that I decided to try it for myself as well with a friend and our families LOVED EVERYTHING. We can't to order again the week after; we want to keep trying everything they make. We look at the menu and its just mouthwatering. The variety of the menu is amazing for everyone and price is so worth it to feed a family. Food is spot on delicious and perfect. If you haven't tried it Please don't wait like I did. Once you start you CANNOT stop. I regret waiting this long to try their food. I promise you wont regret it. Cantina Di Nonna keep shining! My husband and I ordered the classic arancini to accompany our luncheon menu, and let me just say what a treat it was for the palette; crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside. Cantina Di Nonna! it says it all right there in the name; expect a homie feel with a mix of restaurant quality finesse. I highly recommend ordering your next meal from them!

This place is a total gem. I came here with my family for dinner and we were all seriously impressed. The decor is tasteful and cozy, and the atmosphere is relaxed but still feels a bit upscale. The menu offers a great variety, and every dish we ordered was cooked perfectly. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations. One small detail I appreciated was the pacing of the meal — we never felt rushed, and the courses came out with just enough time between them. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. This is the kind of restaurant that earns loyal customers quickly.

We used Cucina Mauro for our son’s confirmation party with 30 family members, and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience. The food was absolutely delicious and the presentation was outstanding. We chose the porchetta station, which was a huge hit. Mauro and Jill were so attentive, professional, and warm with our guests. They made the event feel seamless and special. Highly recommend for any gathering, we will definitely be using them again!

Over the weekend, we had a lovely team from Mauro Catering assist us with my Dad’s 70th birthday party. Not only were they professional, but they also made it feel like they were part of the family. It made our day more relaxing and enjoyable to know that the team was taking care of everyone. The menu Mauro created was exactly what we wanted and the food was amazing (and plentiful). We ordered Cucina Mauro catering for a company event and it was so delicious, everyone loved it! One of the best cheese tortellini and meatballs i’ve tried. Portions were very generous (i ordered large trays). Ordering with Mauro was easy and Peter delivered the food on time and was very kind. Thank you!

We chose Encore for our wedding last weekend, and they were truly the rave of the night! Food was a top priority for us, and Encore exceeded every expectation. After doing half a dozen tastings, they stood out not only for taste but also for quality—everything was light, fresh, and left us feeling amazing. Our only concern was the offsite preparation, but on the big day the food actually arrived tasting even better than at the tasting itself. Guests could not stop complimenting it!

A fun surprise we discovered later—Encore also catered our in-laws’ wedding decades ago. For over 30 years, they’ve clearly been at the top of their game, serving two generations of our family. They have consistently met high expectations of delicious food and service, and then go well above and beyond with creating unique menus that align with our changing annual theme including thoughtful presentation and fresh flavours! We hired Encore for a corporate 25th anniversary party and they outdid our expectations!! The team was extremely professional and nice to work with and the presentation and quality of food was amazing. All the guests loved the food and we received so many compliments throughout the event. Would highly recommend Encore for your catering needs!

Honestly a terrible catering company for child care centres. We've had them for almost a year now, and the food has been consistently terrible. Most of our preschoolers and toddlers end up not even having lunch because the food is so awful. (Keep in mind, we do our best to encourage them to eat.) Even my son who is the least picky eater, often refuses the lunches provided. Food is sent burnt far too many times, no flavour, often dry, and often cheap ingredients and hardly a serving of protein for each child. We have sent the company many reviews about the food, and nothing has been done to either improve the quality, or change the lunches being sent.
Not worth the headache.
(I did not sign the contract with Family Table, my employer did, and no amount of emails from them to Family Table have yielded any corrections or improvements)

We ordered the Fajita Bar for a work event of 13 people. Everything was fresh and delicious. The quantity was very generous and great value! Food was delivered on time and online payment was easy. All around top notch and easy experience. Highly recommended.

We just started using Family Table at the daycare I work at and I have to say the food is amazing! The quality is fantastic, with fresh fruits and vegetables, and home cooked meals using quality ingredients. They are happy to accommodate any allergies and dietary restrictions. The children have begun to eat so much more at meal and snack times, consuming way more vegetables than they did previously. It is clear that they take great care in creating tasty and healthy meals. I would absolutely recommend using the Family Table for any and all catering needs.

Delicious roasted chicken dinner delivered to our home as we get over an illness! Generously serving 4+! Dinner included foccaccia, kale and asparagus salad, a generously sized chicken, roasted sweet potato slices, and maple squares. Feeling better already.

I needed catering for around 30 people at our home. I ordered a number of appetizers, rented some wine classes and dishes with less than a week to the event. I spoke to Maria who was very helpful and quick to respond to my needs. The whole thing was set up in a day or two. She even offered to help curate the menu from the many options they provide. On the day of, the gentleman who served the food was punctual, professional, kind and courteous. He was attentive to the guests and helpful. One the night was over, I had a few guests who lingered past the time that I booked. The gentleman who served indicated that I could keep the wine glasses for the night and someone would pick them up the next day or the day after.

All in all a very good, professional experience. I have no problem recommending them for future events.

We recently ordered breakfast and lunch for a corporate event, and everything was fantastic! The delivery driver was friendly, professional, and right on time. He even connected well with our guests.

The food was a hit, especially the scones, turnovers, tuna wraps, egg salad, and chicken/turkey sandwiches. Guests loved the gluten-free and vegetarian options, which were delicious.

A few highlights: the strawberries were fresh and tasty. The labels on the food helped, though clearer markings on sandwiches would be even better next time.

The team nailed the setup with plenty of plates, napkins, and utensils, everything was seamless. Highly recommend for anyone looking for reliable, friendly service and great food for their events!

We had an amazing experience hiring JP Fine Foods for our backyard wedding reception's appetizers and dinner service.

All the staff working at our event were extremely friendly, polite, and so professional. Their presence ensured we could relax and enjoy the party to its fullest.

Most importantly, all the food was super delicious, and beautiful looking as well! The team accommodated our special request to serve traditional Chilean empanadas, making our entire event feel extra special.

Jonathan and his team went above and beyond with the food and service for our wedding in September. He completely understood the vision we had for the food as we were set on having yummy and satisfying food for our day. Everything was incredible and we were so happy with every dish.
The chefs, bartender and wait staff were amazing. As the bride, I was worried about being too busy to eat, but they always were making sure I was well fed and I appreciated that!

We had the pleasure of working with L-Eats catering for our wedding at the end of May, and they truly made our day unforgettable. Despite the cooler weather, Tony, the owner, went above and beyond by securing a commercial-grade heater for the tent on the morning of the wedding, without us even asking. This company is dedicated to perfection. Paula was exceptional. Her passion for her work was evident, and she calmed all our stresses about the day. From helping my mom and me down the aisle to setting up the centerpieces and ensuring the food was spectacular, she handled everything with expertise and care. Our friends and family couldn't stop talking about how delicious and fresh the food was, from the appetizers (mini grill cheeses and watermelon avocado cups…omg) to the mains and desserts. Food: I love that they support and believe in sustainable eating. They have an amazing menu with a variety of food options for people with dietary restrictions (amazing vegan jack fruit pulled “pork” sliders).

Chocolate peanut butter cup (peanut brittle tuile, peanut butter ice cream strawberry coulis and candied peanuts).
This is something I can eat all day, everyday. The chocolate is smooth, rich and creamy. The tart itself is buttery and not too thick. The peanut butter ice cream was not too overly sweet and had a really strong peanut butter flavour. Everything just went together perfectly

I decided to have our Valentine’s Day supper done professionally. Best decision ever!The service is impeccable. The main meal with entree alone made our night spectacular. I have been visiting La Cuisine Maison for close to ten years. The staff is amazing, always a smile on their faces. My picky-eater 9-yr-old daughter finally decided she would try the BBQ chicken with roasted potaoes, she couldn't get enough and asked for seconds! We recently signed up to their family meals program, we get three complete meals, ready to be served. What a relief knowing I could feed my family of four with healthy food made with quality ingredients; La Cuisine Maison comes highly recommended!

We can't express our joy at picking Lolachers for our loved one's funeral service. Elsa was super responsive and the company is quality and extremely professional. We had so many attendees ask for our caterer's name as the food and service was outstanding 👌. The hostess service is a must. Excellent company to work with! I used Lolacher's for my wedding in December 2024 and they were amazing. We got so many compliments on the food, it was delicious! We had the chicken supreme and a custom lamb shank which were both excellent. The servers were efficient and friendly. Elsa was quick to respond to all my emails and made the experience very smooth and easy for me. Would 100% recommend and use again. :)

I booked Lolacher's Catering for my wedding this past weekend. I started planning my wedding in April 2024, so I know I was already late to the wedding planning game. They were absolutely amazing. Their customer service skills prior to the wedding day were impeccable! I changed my menu so many times and every time they resent me updated contracts and let me know what options were available. Elsa was amazing at accommodating various allergies.

When the caterers arrived they made sure everything was ready and served promptly. Everything was hot and prepped perfectly. They were amazing to us throughout their time with us. When they were done, they picked everything up and cleaned the entire area. I really can't expressed how impressed and grateful I was to their service. Everything went to smoothly and I could not have been happier.

We've used Lolacher's before and each time, their service and quality of the food is amazing. We had a catered condo Christmas event yesterday and everything exceeded expectations. The "Savoury Sausage Rolls" and the "Sweet BBQ Meatballs" were the best I've ever tried. Other popular items were the "Scallops wrapped in bacon", the "Smoked Salmon", and the "Crab Salad on Cucumber rounds". We will definitely go with them again.

I hired Ma-Ro Catering for my mom's 70th birthday at home and they were truly a delight to work with from beginning to end.

Shelby was knowledgeable and coached me through creating a menu, scheduling and rentals. She was only a phone call away when I had questions and even showed up at the start of the evening to ensure everything went off without a hitch. We first spoke just 2 weeks before the event and she was quick to respond and provide a quote.

The delivery was right on time as were server Eva and chef Irene. They were professional and courteous, asking questions to ensure their service matched my expectations every step of the way. Guests glasses were always full and food was served perfectly warmed and on time (even adapting to our shifting schedule).

The food itself was delicious - generous portions and so tasty there was nothing left on guests' plates. I really recommend the Ahi Tuna Taco, Spinach Artichoke Feta Tarte Tatin, Shrimp Romesco Flatbread Pizza for appetizers, Pan Seared Branzino Fillet with Sage Butter Sauce and Roasted Potatoes with Caramelized Onions and Leeks. The fresh bread display with incredible dips was an unexpected delight and the lemon tart made for the perfect summer birthday cake.

To top that off, chef Irene graciously jumped into the role of group photographer in between cooking. She guided us through a couple fun photoshoots that captured the evening. Server Eva ensured everything was cleaned and left better than she found it.

I could not recommend Ma-Ro enough. It was really important for me that this event went off perfectly and I truly couldn't have done it without them. I will definitely be using them again and you should too!

It's been the third or fourth yacht party we have had Ma-ro cater for us, cannot say better things about Quincey and her team! Very active in responding, on time, consistent with the same staff, Carolina is phenomenal, even remembered what our guests drank from a party a year ago, wow! Food always on time and the entire experience was minimal on my part setting it up which made my job so much easier as i plan some of the events for our company, only rating a 5 because it won't allow me to choose a 10, spectacular! do yourself a favor and let Ma-ro handle your next function.

We were extremely pleased with our entire experience with Maro Catering from start to finish. Mauricio was flexible and accommodating in creating the perfect menu for our bridal shower. His team arrived slightly earlier than planned (which was great!) and we’re willing to help with things like setting the tables and running items from the house down to the lawn where the event was taking place. The on-site supervisor, Ramona was phenomenal; I suggest asking for her specifically.

I have used Maro for a wide spectrum of social activities including: 1. Wedding. 2. Catering cocktail party and 3. Private dining. This organization has performed spectacularly at all these levels. For the wedding, they managed the function as effectively as any private "event planner", paying close attention to all details including decor, staff and guest flow, and menu. They created an incredible ambiance based upon the wedding party's needs. For our multiple cocktail parties, they have always provided an excellent menu, and staff that were both attentive and unobtrusive creating a wonderful evening for all. And with our private dining, they created a wonderful menu, provided with service and style, allowing guests and us, as hosts, to really enjoy a magical evening.

We recently hired Mayettes for our small gathering, and they exceeded every expectation. From the initial inquiry (3days before) to the day of the event, their communication was prompt, clear, and professional. Tita was accommodating with our requests, helped us refine the menu to fit our guests’ needs, and made the planning process surprisingly stress-free.

Aside from the professional and friendly service, the real standout was the food—it was absolutely delicious. Each dish was perfectly prepared, full of flavor, and served at the right temperature. We had guests that commented on how much they enjoyed the food and asked where we ordered from. We ordered the Beef Steak (with lots of sweet onions), Chicken skewers, Pancit with lots of veggies and Chicken Lumpiang Shanghai with just the right amount of sauce!

We ordered from Mayette’s earlier this year for my boyfriend’s birthday and again for the holidays. The food is so delicious and the portions are large. Mayette is a pleasure to speak to and is always so kind when we are ordering. We’ve pretty much ordered the entire menu. If you need catering, do not hesitate to contact Mayette’s. My boyfriend and I got takeout for dinner and tried chicken adobo for the first time - it was great! We also got fried chicken, garlic fried rice and wonton soup. We're looking forward to leftovers since the portions are large, and we'll definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

We called the owner a day before and were told they don’t have any dine in. And we usually need to book a take out at least a day before so they have time to prepare. But they still prepare the food for us: chicken adobo and fried pork hocks . 38 $ in total and definitely enough for 2 ppl. Really kind and friendly service, the adobo is amazing, and pork hocks skin is so flavorful. These is a park near where you can enjoy the food as part of the picnic.

the Rougemont soup, the beef stew with glazed carrots and onions (excellent), the shepherd's pâté my personal chef (I'm sad to have only had a portion), the Provençal chicken quiche - incredible, the broccoli salad - very good!
I am very satisfied and I am already placing my next order.
The delivery service was really easy and super affordable.
I recommend 100% for anyone who wants to save time and money.

The owners are more than friendly, the meals are generous for the price. We are two good eaters and sometimes there is some left over for lunch in addition to giving some to our 1 1/2 year old child. We take the portion for 2-3 people. Really satisfied we order every week, it really helps us a lot!

We just hosted a teacher appreciation lunch at our school and Office Gourmet absolutely hit it out of the park! The school has used this company in the past but I have not, so this was my first experience.

The customer service from Mark was top-notch! He is SO patient, helpful and easy to work with. We had a number of dietary restrictions and he had solutions to accommodate them all!

Now the food…. Was FANTASTIC! Every staff member raved about how delicious it was! I even snuck a few bites and agreed! The dietary restrictions were separated and labeled so it was so easy and clear! They delivered the food on time, set it all up, with EVERYTHING you need - tongs, plates, cutlery, napkins! To say I was impressed is an understatement! Highly highly recommend!

5 Star food was delivered, 5 star service in helping coordinate selections and dietarian requests. This is the third time we ordered lunch for training sessions. Very coinvent to have this delivery to our customers site just ahead of our presentations. We just show up and everything is taken care of nothing to set up or worry about.

We rented the 6ft propane spit to have a pig roast, it was great. They were very accommodating with time to pick up, and to drop off.. very reasonable price for the weekend. We even got talking when we were there to pick up and he told us how they have a cotton candy machine and the supplies.. so they had one available for that weekend so we took that too.. kids and older kids loved it. Will definitely go back to rent anything we need..

We rented a propane griddle for a breakfast event on our farm property. The grill was well engineered and easy to use. Communication to arrange pick-up went well. Price was totally reasonable. I would do this again.

First time user but not the last. Great service super friendly staff. Very nice pig roaster super duty work perfectly. Our pig roast was a success. Thank you see you next year.

We rented a cotton candy machine for our Xmas in July party. All of the grandkids love it. GrandMa and GrandPa enjoyed making the cotton candy, it was easy and fun. We highly recommend this treat for a party.

Great experience all around, the equipment was functioning well and they were very flexible with pick up and drop off time. I highly suggest this experience and I will definitely be contacting them again.
