Brett and I have very busy careers and we did not have the time to commit to planning our wedding on our own. We are a mature couple who are blending families of diverse backgrounds and we needed the support of someone who could personalize and tailor our wedding to meet our unique needs.

We couldn't say enough good things about Julianne Young Weddings Inc. We chose their Riesling Program to help us with light planning and day of coordination, and everything about it was perfect. We were paired up with Renee for our planning and then had Renee and Jessica with us on our wedding day. It was like having a helpful, organized, stylish, and punctual guardian angel with you for your entire wedding day. The weeks leading up to the wedding felt like a breeze and the day of couldn't have felt smoother. Between the planning resources, upfront pricing, quick response times and overall amazing team you truly cannot go wrong with this group of ladies. We couldn't recommend them enough. How do I even begin to explain all the reasons I would recommend Julianne Young Weddings? Simply put, Julianne and her team are absolute angels who blew our expectations out of the water.

I can honestly say that hiring Julianne as our planner was the best decision we could have made. We chose Julianne as our planner based on glowing reviews from our friends, who had a stunning and flawlessly executed wedding. From our first email and meeting with Julianne, we were so impressed. She is professional, warm, and organised. Julianne just *gets it,* ya know?

The planning of our wedding was complicated- we planned the wedding in only a few months from London UK, during the covid pandemic. The wedding was held at my grandparents' cabin in Kananaskis Country, Alberta. The cabin is rustic, hard-to-find, and has literally no reception. In short, there was so much uncertainty and so many ways things could have gone wrong! But Julianne was by our side every step of the way; we never doubted she had everything under control. Julianne maintained a positive outlook while also being realistic with us about possible challenges related to the pandemic, our remote and rustic venue, and our budget.

Julianne, her team, and the vendors she selected executed an event that felt truly magical. When we arrived at the cabin on our wedding day and we saw how Julianne had brought the vision to life, I was truly speechless (and then burst into happy tears!). Julianne had brought to life dreams I didn't even know I had! Throughout the day, Julianne and her team worked behind the scenes to ensure that every single moment went smoothly; we never had to worry about a thing.

In summary, I give Julianne Young my highest recommendation. She is truly exceptional at her job- her skills in communication, organisation, and creativity are top notch. But on top of that, Julianne is just a truly lovable human who you can't help but want to spend time with!

Katherine is a human and empathetic helping relationship therapist, with a real desire to help us move forward. Having consulted a few times, she is professional and highly competent, she knows how to understand couple dynamics well and has allowed me and my partner to understand each other better, to change some of our behaviors/habits and to listen to each other. She is transparent in her discussions and quickly gave us the necessary tools to be able to continue the relationship. We are grateful for this.

Katherine was definitely a favorite with my partner and me. She is both endearing and professional, and was able to put us at ease from the very beginning with a very human approach. Katherine was able to grasp us very quickly and thus help us with our problems from the very first sessions. If you’re looking for a boring, standard wedding ceremony, I know Cole would be able to create that for you, but you would be wasting his incredible talents. Cole through his process crafted for us a ceremony that had everybody confused why he wasn’t at the wedding reception because it was obvious that he knew us so well even though we had only met him in person that day. He listened to us in preparing for the ceremony to make it ours and his questionnaire was a fun date night that even helped us understand what we both wanted the ceremony to be like. Thank you so much to Cole for the ceremony of a lifetime - we got married in Dec 2024 and he did an absolutely spectacular job! Our ceremony was pure magic. We received so much positive feedback that we had the best officiant from our guests. Some of our guests said it was the best ceremony they had ever been to which was the highest compliment and Cole is to thank for it! We were certain Cole was the best fit for us after our first meeting with him, and rave reviews about him from our other vendors. Cole takes time to customize your ceremony and make it unique to you as a couple. He went beyond the extra mile with us as we wanted to incorporate some Hindu elements into our ceremony - walking around a fire pit, putting on a traditional necklace as well as a unity candle lighting. Cole was so willing to work with us to make our vision a reality and helped us feel grounded throughout the experience. He is the best choice - through rain or shine, or in our case, snowfall. We got married on the 8th of August at Paradise banquet hall in Vaughan. Vinny made a wonderful job officiating our wedding. Vinnie was the best! So helpful and professional. When we first met, she was so friendly and helpful. When we hired Vinnie, she was so organized and even sent us an entire package of materials with different ceremony templates and helpful resources. We were totally impressed and she helped us customize/personalize our ceremony completely. Then on the day of, she was perfectly on time and incredibly flexible. When things outside our control happened in the ceremony (elements not being set up by other parties, and bees swarming us outside) she perfectly transitioned as if nothing happened. When we made last minute changes the day before, she was on top of it and executed perfectly. It’s that level of expertise you need for your ceremony. No one attending even knew the difference or noticed, because she was just that smooth. Thank you Vinnie for joining us for life.

Warren was excellent. He is truly a gem!! We met him to do the rehearsal and he helped us so much and gave us too many pointers!!! And the day off, he was perfect!!! Warren is warm, gentle, a calming presence, can speak softly but be heard by a whole room full of people, and has the perfect amount of personality to accompany your ceremony- without overshadowing you as the couple, he has the perfect presence to make your wedding ceremony memorable, beautiful, and exactly what you want it to be.

Megan was beyond amazing! She was so organized, and went above and beyond for us. We had nothing to worry about on the wedding day, she made sure the decor was perfect, met the DJ when he arrived, handled music for the ceremony, wrangled a massive bridal party, made sure everyone ate in a timely manner, and I know she did a million other things I didn't see. She had us on task leading up to the day as well, and made the whole process so smooth and easy. Not sure what we would have done without her, but she was an absolute life saver. I have said over and over again that the best decision I made was hiring Megan and her team for my wedding day!! Megan supported me starting 3 months before the wedding leaving me with very little to do on my own. He even translated our parents’ speeches (entirely on the spot; not word-for-word but with accuracy and care that perfectly conveyed the sentiment). I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Dwayne was the absolute BEST. From the second we logged into our meet and greet zoom call, he was so charismatic, relaxed and we knew he was the one. He did a very thorough rehearsal and ensured that our ceremony went smoothly the next day. He put time into getting to know us to make sure our ceremony was representative of our personalities. He made everyone laugh and cry. It was heartfelt but not cheesy. It was funny but romantic at the same time (just what we asked for). We received amazing feedback from all family and friends. She was very thorough and clear about the steps regarding obtaining a marriage license and she took care of all the steps in submitting it. She also took the time to make sure she understood exactly what we wanted from the ceremony (we wanted a ceremony with no strong religious elements), and offered plenty of lovely passages for us to choose from. Her options are incredibly diverse so anyone would be able to find something that would best fit their theme.

When it came to the ceremony itself, she was a true professional, informing us ahead of time the fine details of how the wedding party should present the rings, where everyone should stand so there would be the best photos and also, importantly making sure we were all at ease. Pam was amazing, I can't recommend her enough! We also had lots of compliments from our guests in relation to Pam! We planned a very last minute wedding and she was right there on board to help with any ceremony questions I had. I had a lot of ideas that I wanted to incorporate into our ceremony and Pam helped us with working them all into the ceremony where they would fit best while keeping the required part of the ceremony for legality in. Our wedding party and parents were very grateful to have Pam come do a rehearsal the night before as she made everyone a little bit less nervous and much more comfortable with the way things would go during the actual ceremony!
