A Real DJ! When I walked into the wedding reception hall, DJ Jovie J was mixing songs, and adding beats and rhythms that work great together! I would be playing violin later that night, and I had sent him my backing tracks via email after a brief email introduction by the bride and groom. He had my backing tracks ready to go and an input for my violin mic. Through my performance sets, he balanced my violin and backing tracks volume levels. Starting with photo and video , Justin with the just married team Justin + Nick , was a perfect team, discussing and specific to the shots and best ideas shared, laidback joking and us being nervous , allowed us to just breath and go with the flow with them during the day. The PJ Entertainment team (PJ + Kevin) made our evening an amazing experience. PJ was great on the mic and Kevin controlled the music and managed the crowds throughout the night! We received a lot of feedback from guests who loved how they catered to different age groups! Also, keeping the dance floor packed by avoiding typical radio music was a huge plus for us and the guests, who enjoyed hearing classics you’d never hear at a wedding.

As mentioned in other reviews, he can read the room and make seamless transitions to get people on the dancefloor and to keep the energy high!

He does so much more than simply "playing music" though. He helped us make a schedule for a busy day that included the bridal party entrances, numerous speeches, dances and games! He also uses numerous lighting effects to grab the attention of guests!

As with every wedding, unexpected events may arise and will deviate you from your original schedule. DJ Phil is nonetheless able to quickly find solutions that will keep the night thriving!

We also made several last minute changes to our pre-planned activities, but DJ Phil accommodated every single one of them!

DJ Viggy did such an amazing job at my reception at Red Rose Convention Centre in Mississauga because he knew exactly which songs to play at all the right moments. The dancefloor was jam packed nonstop the entire night until 2am and everyone let the hall with huge smiles on their faces. DJ Viggy has a deep knowledge of music and knows how to keep the beats rolling so that no one wants to sit down. We had a fusion wedding and Viggy knew exactly how to balance and blend both Western and Indian songs, really catering to our demographic and adding life to our party. After having a terrible experience with another DJ vendor leading up to our wedding day, one month before our wedding, we asked our wedding coordinator to help us find a new one that we could trust. She recommended DJ Viggy.

From the very first phone call we immediately knew DJ Viggy was going to be amazing. He was extremely professional, polite, and easy going. A genuine joy to speak with, both on the phone and in person. He’s just one of those people that makes you feel at ease. We basically gave him very general parameters for music we needed - i.e. Hindu fusion wedding with a mix of Bollywood and western music, and then let him take the reigns “to feel the vibe and atmosphere of the crowd”. Let me just say he DID NOT DISAPPOINT. So many of our friends came up to us and said he was the best DJ they have ever heard at wedding. All of my wife’s Gujarati side were dancing all night too, because Viggy knew exactly when to transition and switch it up and all of the Bollywood music were absolute bangers that everyone was dancing too. My wife and I never saw our parents dance so much!

He also was able to accommodate multiple song requests for surprise group dances and our first dance and was able to even mix some of them.

Usually at weddings, near the end of the night people start to fizzle out, but we were dancing our hearts out until the very last second of the very last song. And then we still asked for an encore - for which DJ Viggy graciously obliged! After the music stopped, he even took time to converse with my wife and I and some of the guests - it was late and he didn’t have to, but just another testament to his character and his love for his work. Everyone is still raving about him a few days after our wedding now. Some of my friends regret not booking him for their weddings later this year.

In a couple of weeks I'm playing a big festival so I needed to do some practice with the proper gear. These folks now have CDJ 3000's which is exactly what I wanted to practice with.

Booking was flawless, the studio is very affordable and the place is perfect in its simplicity.

Best DJ studio in Montreal, period. Yes it’s DIY, yes it’s in a refurbished walk-in fridge, and f yes the vibes are amazing! Plus they have a huge JBL sub in there that literally shakes your insides. Even tho I have a controller at home it was a game changer to get some practice time with proper equipment (CDJ 2000). AND it’s also cheap like comoooooon, soooo down w you djtal ❤️

I cannot recommend DJ Dan enough. We weren’t going to get a DJ because we planned out wedding in only 4 months. Once we saw DJ Dan at a wedding show we knew we had to have him and it was the best decision we ever made. The process was so easy, the music was BUMPING. Leonard was absolutely incredible! He totally understood what we were hoping for (a 90s/2000s dance party), and his experience really came through. Stephan exceeded our expectations on all levels. He was so professional, down to earth, and you can really tell he really cares about his clients. Gaby is the best thing that happened to us for our wedding, period. As a music fan, he knew how to throw the best party for us, with great track selection and transitions.

But I have to say, Gaby is WAY more than a DJ. He set up the most amazing sound system, even the band that was also playing at my wedding were blown away by the quality of sound. He set up beautiful lights that lit up the entire place the whole evening, as well as fireworks and dry ice. And above all, he is genuine, honest, such a gentleman and always made sure that what we needed and wanted was proritized. Even with many many years of experience, he still listened to everything we needed and made sure it was implemented at the wedding.

To conclude, Gaby's services are SO affordable. We had talked to several DJs before and they were costing more than him, without the other services that he provided.

I cannot describe in words my appreciation for Gaby. He has become a friend, really, and we recommend him for ANY event you are considering.

Chris was absolutely wonderful to work with from start to finish! We ended up looking for DJ recommendations on a wedding Facebook group and he came up in the comments and only had our date left for the summer. We took that as a sign and looked in to his work more. After listening to his mixes and reading reviews, we loved his vibe and decided we had to schedule a call with him. From the moment we met virtually we knew he would be a great fit for our day. From the get go he went above and beyond. He just got our vibe right away and from then on, after booking him, he was great to work with. We made Spotify playlists to share with him and used his portal to organize the music we wanted to play and didn’t want to play and the whole process was super easy and organized. He worked amazingly with all our other vendors and didn’t hesitate to help out in any area he could, even if it wasn’t part of his DJ role. The music was amazing from start to finish, he really picked the best of the best from our playlists to play and it set the mood all day. Once it was time to open the dance floor he definitely kept us dancing to the very end! He even stayed an extra half hour since our shuttle time changed and played all our favourites at the end. Our guests loved him, we loved him and we just can’t rave about him enough. If you need a DJ and Chris is available, definitely give him a call, you won’t be disappointed! We now recommend him to anyone planning an event. He’s just a really fun, cool guy. Also as a bonus, he took his own video footage of the day and created a little montage for us as well that we absolutely love and cherish.
