We just wanted to take a moment to properly thank you for everything you did on our wedding day.

When the power went out on the hottest day of the year at our wedding venue at 2pm, we were immediately in problem-solving mode, hours away from what could have been a total disaster. But you stepped in prepared and cool headed, made the ceremony happen perfectly, MC’d, and kept the party going with your backup setup, and somehow made it feel like nothing had gone wrong. Despite the heat of the hottest day of the year, it felt like the energy never dipped, the music never stopped, and people kept dancing like it was all part of the plan. If anything, the power outage created a more intimate, romantic setting, that everyone really told us they enjoyed.

Had you not MC’d and spoken to the crowd the way you did, things would’ve turned out boring. Had you not had your battery backups, it would’ve turned out a very quiet and uneventful party. You took on the the role of coordinator, DJ, electrical guru, lighting champion, and MC.

Beyond that, your coordination in the lead-up and on the day itself was honestly amazing. Every single vendor we’ve spoken to before and during the wedding has brought up how great you were to work with, and how good of a human being you are. From the emails you sent to keep everyone aligned, to your ability to run the show without making it feel forced, to your quick thinking and calm presence when things went sideways, it was clear you had everything under control. Even your music selection was spot-on from start to finish, with perfect transitions and crowd pleasers that kept everyone on the dance floor.

We hired Westrax DJ Service for a youth dance last week and it was amazing. These guys had the kids dancing and having fun right off the bat. It was amazing the energy these guys came with and the music was unreal. They are great to deal with and the pricing is very good. I will be hiring these guys for all my dances and other events and highly recommend them .

We had Westrax DJ, William D Pratt School's Grade 9 farewell. These guys were great. They were wonderful to deal with. The kids had a blast. They had the kids dancing and having a great time. Thanks for making their farewell so memorable.

We hired Westrax DJ Service for a JH school dance and they were phenomenal! They asked for a playlist before the event to gauge the type of music to play, but on the day of the event they gauged the crowd and read the room. Students danced the whole time. They also handed out prizes to some of the dancers and interacted with students over the microphone. It was amazing!

Paul Spencer and his entire staff have been amazing to our organization over the years. Their professionalism and quality are prominent aspects of every dance we host. We look forward to work with them in the future!

Steve was such an incredible asset to our wedding! He is super friendly and responds to any emails/questions etc in a very timely manner. He is very professional and his software to pick songs and fill in your wedding details is handy and user friendly. He respected our ‘do not play’ list, and even checked with us about a few guest requests if he felt it didn’t match our vibe. When the time came for him to pack up and the end of our reception, we asked if we could pay him for some extra time and he did that for us! He was incredibly friendly with the guests and MC’d our night perfectly. We simply told him the kinds of music and vibe we wanted throughout the evening and he executed it perfectly.

Steve was absolutely wonderful from start to finish! He was our MC and DJ for our wedding and reception. Steve is kind, well spoken, knowledgable and has a great ability to read to room. The music was terrific and more than just the top-100 you hear on the radio these days. He played old and new, playing to the mood of the night. My wife and I are very happy with everything and would highly recommend Steve to others.

Exactly who we needed. DJ Chris Rhythmz was the perfect DJ for our wedding. We wanted some control over the songs, so we sent Chris a 40-song playlist (over 3 hours of music) and he played each and every one AND he took audience requests. He found a really creative way of setting up in a small space to leave plenty of room for our dance floor. We had a fabulous night of dancing. And to top it all off, his price was very sensible. We hired DJ Chris to do our ceremony, cocktail hour, and wedding reception this summer and he was incredible. DJ Chris was on site early to set up and perform his sound checks. He played every song we requested and also had some great strategies for keeping guests on the dancefloor. We had a packed dancefloor all night with some of our guests claiming it was the best dancefloor they've ever seen at a wedding. You literally couldn't leave or you would miss a banger. Chris was easy to work with and very accommodating. If you want to get people on the dancefloor, Chris is your guy. Highly recommend.

I had hired Sam for my sister’s wedding, and he did a great job.

My only advice if someone is looking to hire him for a wedding is expect to be flexible with music selected. If you expect the playlist to be played with no deviations then this is not the DJ for you.

Otherwise though, he was responsive to emails and arrived at a reasonable time to set up for the wedding. We had a few last minute changes during the wedding and he helped make it possible.

Overall I was satisfied with the service received for my sister’s wedding.

Amazing Experience!

DJ Sam was amazing to deal with, we originally contacted him a year and a half before our wedding, he was very helpful and sent us a document to fill out leading up to the wedding meeting date. The document was very detailed and helped us even build out the timeline for the special day. When we virtually met, even though Sam was travelling the next morning, he still took the time to book the meeting with us and listen to what we had to say. He guided us with a selection of songs that he used in the past (extremely helpful!) and even asked questions that we hadn't thought of. Sam also met with us 2 days before the wedding to check if we had any changes which we did and he had no problems making a last minute change.

The day of, everything ran smoothly, Sam was there early, set up and ready to go, played everything we agreed upon and was very flexible in terms of reading the crowd and picking the right music. I also bugged him a couple of times during the dancing portion to play a specific song, without hesitation he agreed! He also was the MC and he was great at hyping up the crowd and even pronouncing tough Egyptian names perfectly! He was determined to beat a wedding that was next door and he was successful!
