I had the pleasure of collaborating with Allan about a year ago on a truly unique project. He created a stunning wool cape that I embroidered, and I was blown away by his craftsmanship and attention to detail. I completed a bespoke tailoring training course with Allan. It was a pleasure and an honour to work under someone so knowledgeable and dedicated. Allan was a very strict teacher, however this has nothing to do with his personality but more so the art of bespoke tailoring. There is no room for mistakes, precision is key. It takes years of experience and practice to get to Allan’s level. There is no one else in Calgary that can compete with his expertise.

Allan David Bespoke shirts? I have not one, not two, not three but four of his gorgeous bespoke shirts. Why? Because once I wore a shirt that actually fits me - not some factory estimate of what a man probably wears - but a shirt that fits me, there was no turning back. I selected the fabric, worked with Allan on design (I like the classic western look) and waited patiently for my shirt while he performed his magic. And when I wear them? It is a constant stream of "beautiful shirt", "where did you get that shirt? ", "Love that shirt." Awesome experience.

Florin is SO AMAZING at what he does! I go to him all the time for pieces that are too large for me and always tailors them to fit my petite body. I had him tailor my grad dress just in time for my pictures and he finished much earlier than the day needed. He is so cute, sweet, funny, and kind. The new stitches made are always SO well done!

Got some pants from an online store which didn’t fit well, 2 were too big and loose and the other was slightly too small. I got them tailored here last year and not only was the fit perfect after the adjustments, they also held up perfectly after a year since getting them tailored. They are my favourite trousers to wear and I will not hesitate to come back here to get other clothes tailored. I Highly recommend coming here if you need any alterations.

I had two suits that required alterations. A new one I picked up online had too much of a relaxed or casual fit, and the other (older suit) had been tailored by another place but was inconsistent in the legs and too tight. Florin corrected the fit issues with the older pants and he made my new suit fit so well and it looks amazing, it was exactly what I wanted. I won't be going anywhere else and am excited to explore a bespoke suit in the near future.

Florin did an amazing job on my wool coat. It was too large for me and he did a great job in tightening the sleeves and body to fit me. He also redid the pockets so they’d align properly with the coat. I was unsure how I wanted the coat to fit me when I came in, but he made the right recommendations for it.

This review is long overdue, but what better way to acknowledge this fantastic store and my awesome bespoke tux on the day of my one-year wedding anniversary! Everything at Davido Afnani is pure quality; selection of fabrics/clothes, customer interaction, the measurement and fitting process, attention to detail, etc. My experience here was simply magnificent. I was looking for a custom suit and tux for my wedding. I met up with Richard who walked me through different fabrics based on my budget. Richard is super helpful and responsive in helping you figure out your look and make sure your needs are met. He make's solid suggestion and guides you correctly so your suit looks perfect on you.

Once, the suit was ready I went in for a fitting and everything fit perfectly! There was minor alteration after my first fitting, and I can't wait to wear my suit and tux, and looking forward to working with Richard again in the future.

It is slightly more expensive than other places but the quality here is basically guaranteed. I love that Hakeem is not afraid to tell you what looks good and what looks less than good. He takes the time to get to know you and genuinely wants you to leave looking both sharp and ready to woo them ladies.

Basically everything about the suits are customizable, and they also do custom shoes and accessories. The place is clean and very well designed.

It’s difficult to put into words how amazing Fari Hara is.

I evaluated several tailors in Calgary trying to find the right one for my wedding. I eventually decided to go with Fari Hara and was blown away by the attention to detail, service quality and variety of garments/customizations to choose from.

What made Hakeem stand out from every other tailor I consulted? Not only did he have amazing personal taste and fashion sense, but he was willing to listen.

I know it doesn’t sound like much, but it’s something that I feel can often be overlooked. I frequently dealt with highly opinionated tailors with a “I know best” or “I’ll decide for you” mentality. It’s fashion after all..

Hakeem was the opposite - he took the time to understand my vision while thoughtfully sharing insights from his many years of experience, imparted his own personal opinion and helped guide me to the right decision. He answered every question of mine, helped me understand every aspect of my suit and never once made me feel rushed or a burden.

As someone with borderline ocd tendencies, I never thought I would feel confident enough to fully entrust someone to dress me for my big day.

Got few bedsheet sets (king and queen) from Fashion iQ and I’m really impressed. The fabric feels soft and breathable, and the quality is definitely noticeable. They fit perfectly on the mattresses and stay in place, which is something I usually struggle with.

Azad’s one of the best barbers in Calgary hands down. I have curly and thick hair that I even have trouble managing. He effortlessly cuts and styles it. Hes extremely skilled with fades and if you’re lost on what to do with your hair he will guide you through what’s best for you. All the staff seem quite skilled and professional. Going to be coming here regularly.

I’ve been going to Azad for my cuts and he’s hands down one of the best barbers out there. His fades are always sharp and clean, he’s extremely consistent, and he takes real pride in his work. He’s also very punctual, which I really appreciate—no long waits, just in and out on time with a fresh cut every time. On top of that, his prices are very fair for the quality you get. If you’re looking for a barber who delivers top-notch fades, respects your time, and won’t overcharge, Azad is your guy.

I checked out Fine Line after seeing positive reviews on Google Maps, and wow, I’m so glad I did! I got a haircut with Denny, and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. Where can I start ? Working with Amanda has been simply amazing . From the second I walked into her office she has impressed me with her kindness and her ability to listen to each persons preferences. She is the most resourceful and helpful person I have worked with. She did all my decorations for my wedding that just passed and let me tell you everything was perfect. Amanda has so many different amazing decorations for all different tastes. We did the reception at a restaurant and Amanda managed to make it look just like a hall. Also , I had a problem with my staircase in front of the house and she went beyond my expectations and she managed to hide the staircase without me even asking her . Like I said , she goes above and beyond for her clients and I would recommend her to anyone that is planning an event. She is also super easy to reach and she answered my messages within minutes.

I was able to get a Face, Feet, Fanny service booked nice and quickly for my little guy. The groomer was professional, friendly, gave my dog treats (after she asked for my permission), and did the service in 20 minutes while I waited in my car. My dog came out looking perfect and happy! I'm so happy with this company and would definitely use it again and recommend it to others. :)

This is the place to bring your small dog hands down. I have a very anxious tiny yorkie girl and she was so patient with my dog, didn't try and force her to invade her space. Waited until my dog was more comfortable and by the time I came to pick her up my dog was happy and relaxed!

Regarding her grooming skills they're the real deal. Did a great yorkie face shaping and trim on my wiggly pup and she's so soft too. 1000% recommend and will be back. I've been trying forever to find a good calm groomer that can handle an anxious dog. I feel super comfortable now. Great service

Unbelievable experience for myself and my fur baby, Molly. When I dropped her off at Hot Dog's, I knew she was in loving hands. Molly and I have had quite the last couple of years, so to find someone I could trust made my day. Molly behaved very well because of the one on one time. Please take your pets there, she is amazing. My baby was a rescue and her previous so-called humans were disgusting and ultimately banned from having the privilege of ever having another animal. Molly rescued me and here we are in the amazing town of Strathmore. Just keep believing, find the best like I did

I took my 8 month old Milo in yesterday and he looks just great. He can be difficult since he is still young and a little hyper. She did a fantastic job and he finally found a cat he can play with. Ours just runs.

We just moved to Orléans and we were looking for a new groomer for our rescue husky, Alaska. We had no idea how complicated it would be. We had to spend so much time filling out very complicated questionnaires, sending emails, making calls to many different groomers only be turned down because of either Alaska’s temperament, breed or just the fact that they weren’t taking new clients.

With that said, booking here is incredibly easy as opposed to other groomers. You just fill out the from on the website and you’re set. No emails explaining why you’re a good fit, no required phone calls, no complicated temperament forms. You just book and you’re set. As a very busy person, I LOVED THAT!

Alaska can be very nervous around baths because she’s a rescue with very poor socialization as a puppy. They went above and beyond to accommodate her. I feel like this groomer was perfect for her. They will push enough for your dog to see that it’s not the end of the world to take a bath. But they will also make sure your dog has a good experience and not push too far.

The groomer was very knowledgeable and even made sure to read her history to give her the proper handling based on her socialization level. I feel like they gave her a very personalized experience to help with her training and overall comfort.

They completely de-shedded Alaska and she came out 3 sizes smaller in only an hour and a half. Which as a husky parent I really appreciate.

I feel like with a few more visits (dare I say) Alaska will be finally comfortable going to the groomer! Which is something we did not think possible and for us it’s priceless. They can literally take all my money. Cannot recommend this place enough!!!

I went to see JP for my wedding suit and the whole experience was remarkable. From the get go he makes you feel important, offering coffee or liquor and taking the time to understand what you’re looking for. You will feel like you’re in a proper high end London tailor shop. We sat down and looked through numerous binders of fabrics to choose from, from the blazer, to the pants, to the lapel, to the lining.
