I’ve had the chance to work with 515 Photography twice recently, and I can confidently say they are next level. Their work is stunning—artful, emotional, and timeless—but what truly impressed me was the way they handle a wedding day. Amanda is a superstar, truly. When I was looking for wedding photographers, it was hard to distinguish one from the next. When we started planning our wedding, we knew that choosing a photographer was going to be one of the most important decisions we had to make. I mean, not only are they in charge of capturing the memories of your wedding, you spend the entirety of your most exciting (and stressful) day with this person! We had to make sure they would be a good fit.

From the first time we interacted over zoom, Amanda made us feel comfortable and taken care of. Her preparedness, attention to detail, and overall amazing vibes were unparalleled. She offered to come all the way from Toronto to do our engagement photos in Ottawa. This shoot was one of the highlights of our wedding prep experience. We went out do dinner with her and her husband, Rob, after the photos were taken and we were so thrilled that they really took the time to get to know us.

On our wedding day, she made everyone feel comfortable and was able to charm and wrangle all of our friends and family for photos - not the easiest task! She was prepared, but also flexible and made sure we got every shot on our list. She even surprised us with an old camcorder which captured the sweetest nostalgic moments.

If you're looking for a photographer whose photos are so out of this world beautiful that you have a difficult time choosing your favourite photo, Anne-Marie is for you! I absolutely loved her presence on my wedding day. She made me feel so comfortable on my wedding day and I loved being able to chat with her and get to know her a bit throughout the crazy day. I'm not a natural at posing, but all the photos came out amazing. The candid ones truly show all the emotions of the day. We had a lot of crazy weather on our wedding day (torrential rain, sun, rainbows) and Anne-Marie captured it all beautifully. I couldn't have chosen a better photographer for my wedding day!

I'm not sure where to begin in my praise and adoration for Anne-Marie and the work she does. I first meet Anne-Marie when she photographed my best friend's wedding in 2012. When I got engaged a year later I knew I wanted her to shoot my wedding since she had done such a fantastic job with my friend.

Earlier this year, my wife and I were fortunate enough to have Anne-Marie photograph our engagement session as well as our wedding and we couldn't be happier with our choice. Our family loves Anne-Marie! Anne-Marie has been our go-to photographer for several years. She did our engagement and wedding photos and when our son arrived we did a newborn shoot followed by family photos to mark his first birthday. My husband and I got married in the summer of 2024 and we booked out photos and video with Arte Studio. The entire team was extremely professional and kept the day fun and light! They connected with both of us and our bridal party and made sure our vision came true! The entire process felt natural and they guided us throughout the day. Once we received our photos and videos it was like reliving the day all over! Cami is so incredible to work with. She photographed my daughter’s baptism a few years back and captured such beautiful, timeless memories for us. Within two weeks of booking Chloe and Russell for a future photoshoot, we found out we were pregnant. We contacted them to let them know it would actually be a maternity session. They were so helpful and kind throughout the entire process and we will treasure our maternity pictures forever! If you are planning a trip to Canada do yourself a favor and book them. Hands down the best decision we made for our wedding day! Black and White took the most stunning and beautiful photos and video of our wedding day and we could not be more thankful! My husband and I were married recently in October at Creekside Villas in Canmore. After realizing that trying to figure out our own music was impossible, we started to hunt for a DJ. Paul was the immediate choice due to his friendly and caring personality and willingness to work with us when we are no experts at wedding planning. Paul guided us gently to decide on certain key songs for the day and gave us some great advice about what equipment he recommended and some things to remember. We gave him the flexibility to read our crowd and play to our guests and he did an absolutely AMAZING job. My feet still hurt from dancing and my guests all said how fun and perfect the music was from the night. Kat did both our engagement and elopement photos, and to say they were magical is an understatement. As two people who hardly ever love pictures of themselves, my partner and I adore the images Kat captured. They feel like us. Even the posed photos feel genuine. I met Kat & Hugh at a wedding show in 2014. I remember there being a ton of photographers at this particular show, but when going by their booth I ended up turning around to go back. After talking with them, I remember going home and telling my now Husband that I had found our photographers! I am so glad that I turned around that day, not only did they do an absolutely amazing job at our 2015 wedding but they also photographed our best friends wedding a year later. Full review:
From day one Box Cube/Sharyar was professional and told us that he was there to help. We met with a total of 23 photographers and videographers and when we decided on Box Cube we didn’t really know what they meant by “I’m here to help you”. Box Cube got us in front of a camera too feel a bit more comfortable and to learn about the style and pictures we liked. They also assisted with our search for makeup artist, hair dressers, location ideas, formal combinations, etc. Box Cube/Sharyar was like a mini wedding assistant.

As the day came closer the support increased up to the day (they didn’t just take a deposit and disappear). They were again professional and helped us overcome “hiccups” and ensured they got all the photos we wanted. They caught every moment throughout the day (don’t think they even ate or took a break ….sorry). I’m not sure what happened but at some point my wedding party grew by 1. Somehow Box Cube/Sharyar was taking photos doing his thing but was still checking in to make sure I didn’t need anything. You would think when he checked in it was about photography right? NOPE, I knew my bridal party grew when Sharyar came over (me thinking there is a problem) just to ask if we need water or a drink and said “we are having a great time”. We were presented a reception slide show which was amazing. Finally when our photos were done we received another slide show that we are going to watch forever.

The photo albums, canvas prints, etc are worthy of a museum. Absolutely there are the Costcos, London Drugs, etc but if you want quality save your efforts and save your memories with Box Cube. I’m not an art person by far but if I can notice a difference…

Sharyar was amazing! He took gorgeous photos of our wedding. He is extremely friendly and easy to work with and he and his team were professionals and we rarely noticed they were there. He was excellent at providing feedback and setting us up for poses as we had no idea what we were doing. He was also very helpful in the planning stage before the wedding and helped us figure out timing for everything as well. The wedding album is amazing and worth the price.

Box Cube did an engagement shoot for my cousin and her husband and they LOVED the photographs! My cousin had a very specific vision and they were able to bring it to life and made the entire shoot feel effortless and fun!

I don't even have the words to explain how amazing Bree is! My husband and I could not be more thrilled with our engagement and wedding photos.

Bree was incredibly professional from start to finish. We reached out to Bree with our wedding date and she was more than happy to accommodate our request. We planned our Engagement Session (we highly suggest you book this as well!) about a month in advance. We gave Bree complete creative freedom to pick a time and a place. Of course our perfect summer evening turned into a rainy and cold endeavour, but the pictures turned out moody and beautiful! I was nervous as I had never done a shoot with a photographer but she managed to make me laugh and smile the entire time and feel totally confident with getting my picture taken. She had a sneak peek of our album within a few days and the entire album to us a couple weeks later.

Our wedding was in downtown Calgary and our only request was that we capture the beauty of an urban area and capture a few sentimental spots for us. Bree came prepared and on time. She jumped right in and had our entire family and friends feeling just as comfortable as us. Bree took the time to find the perfect spots for our portraits ahead of a time and did an absolutely phenomenal job at making us both look ad feel like super stars! Just as with our engagement pictures, she sent us a sneak peak of our wedding within a few days and our entire album was to us not too long after.

Bree is one of the most genuine humans I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. She is fun, creative, and friendly. She will make you feel comfortable and give you some of the most stunning photographs. We are so grateful for Bree for providing us with memories of our wedding for years to come.

As a queer person who is in a heteronormative marriage, it was so important to me that the person I hire to capture our wedding stand for what I stand for, and respect and include the other queer or diverse folk present at my wedding.

My experience with Bree was nothing short of amazing. She and her second shooter Victoria, made everyone feel so comfortable. So down to earth, personable, and approachable. Even the guys enjoyed the photos - which is a feat!!! They were both major hype people - I really felt like a gorgeous human being.

And the quality of photos... unmatched. Seriously... UNREAL. I never knew we could look so good. Some of our pictures even look made up.. Bree truly has immeasurable talent. She is artistic and captures emotion in her work. I've had so many compliments on our wedding photography.

The day before my wedding was every bride's worst nightmare, I got to the hall and found out my venue had double booked both me and another bride. My family and friends came together and we put together the utmost beautiful wedding in 24 hours and Blair captured every.single.moment.of.that. We hired Carley to photograph our intimate wedding near Ottawa and she was absolutely fantastic! She had a great eye for shots and was very proactive, for example adjusting decor for a better photo. This review is super late mostly because it’s hard to compose my thoughts of how amazing Carley is. From the moment we met her we loved her - she’s effortlessly cool and chill, but also on the ball, organized and professional. We were nervous for our engagement photos as neither of us had ever had professional photos taken before - her personality is so fun and she made us feel at ease right away. We had the best time shooting with her and stayed until after dark, laughing away both at her jokes and her excited squeals of joy from behind the camera.
Throughout the process she was so quick and helpful through email - we never worried about anything with her.
On the day her smiley face was a calming presence. She seamlessly fit in and captured all the best moments as we got ready. I felt stressed as we ended up being late leaving the hotel and Carley was the one person I texted and she instantly made me feel less panicked. Despite being behind schedule she rolled with the punches, worked her magic, and somehow we ended up being back on schedule and stepped into cocktail hour right on time! Her photos are so beautiful - we adore how she candidly captured all of our friends and family the most. There’s so much love in every photo, with bright vivid colours and perfect composition. On the day of our wedding, Cassie was a calming presence on our wonderful but hectic day. She is the perfect balance of personal and professional, and tamed/brought the best out of our rowdy bridal party.
She went the extra effort to release a few sneak peaks before our honeymoon, and when we arrived home, there was a beautiful wooden box with printed pictures waiting for us in the mail. The slideshow she made us brought me to tears, and it was the perfect way to relive our wedding day nearly a month later.
I have looked through our wedding photos at least a dozen times now, and I grow to love them more and more each time. Seeing them in print in our beautiful album Cassie made makes me incredibly happy (they are the only albums I've seen with metal fronts - so unique and stunning!). It's earned a very special place on the mantle in our living room.
