I booked Julia to do my makeup for family photos after being impressed by her work on Instagram. I wanted a natural look that still felt polished and enhanced, and Julia delivered beautifully. She was professional, approachable, and very open to feedback. I felt comfortable asking for small adjustments, and she consistently checked in to ensure I was happy with the progress.

Julia also explained that makeup often needs to be a bit bolder than usual to photograph well—she was absolutely right! When we received our sneak-peek photos, I couldn’t have been happier. My makeup looked like me, just elevated in the best way.

Samantha and Lisa did my, my mom and 4 bridesmaids hair and make-up on my wedding day. They were extremely professional, taking the time to listen to what each person wanted (most wanted a more natural look) and executing it beautifully. Their prices were fair, and we were able to use the beautiful loft-style space. Samantha was flexible and didn't mind if we brought some snacks and drinks, making the experience fun and relaxing. I am blown away in the best way possible by Rebecca. I had a bad experience with another MUA for a bridal trial, and I was super worried I wouldn't be able to find a MUA for my upcoming wedding.

I contacted Rebecca, who was responsive right away, was super lovely, accepted my request for a phone call where I could ask her questions, and booked my bridal trial with her. She was super lovely, taking the time to understand my wants, and asked me for inspiration looks so she can really grasp what I wanted to look like for my special day. Of course I had to book her for my wedding!

The other thing I really love about her talent is that she is able to give you an almost air-brushed makeup look, and she doesn't have a heavy hand, which is super important! I was able to feel my skin, and never felt cakey.

During the whole process she was super organized, creating a makeup chart for me during our bridal trial so the day-of would go smoothly. She was punctual (arriving earlier for set up than her original ETA which was fantastic), responsible, compassionate, and the funniest story teller.

The makeup she did for me during our trial was exactly what I got for my wedding day (see photos of trial and day-of). Rebecca also made sure to shimmer me up in my dress before I went off to do my first look. I truly couldn't have picked a better person to do my makeup, and I am hoping to work with her again in the future 🥰

The whole process of working with her from start to finish was very smooth. Doing the makeup trial 2 months before the wedding at Yelena’s home was very helpful. I had an idea of what I wanted, but we were able to work together to make a few minor adjustments.

On the day of the wedding I was very happy with the final look, as were all the other girls who also got their makeup done. It held well through hours of outdoor pictures in full summer sun and heat, the ceremony, dinner and many hours of dancing.

I was pleased with how it showed up both in person and in the final photos. I felt beautiful, but still like myself.

I am absolutely thrilled I was able to have Mareena do my makeup for my maternity photoshoot. She made sure that my makeup was great and when I finally saw myself at the end of the session I felt absolutely stunning and like the most beautiful pregnant women in the world.

I got my makeup done in the morning, had to have lunch, then the photos in the afternoon.

The makeup stayed the entire day and through the whole shoot. She even made sure I had a touch-up bag with items and product to ensure I could fix things that might be needed. Lucky for me I ended up not needing to use the kit, but I was definitely less stressed knowing it was there if needed.

She was also really professional the whole session. We had great conversation and I just felt taken care of through the whole process.

Malika did my bridal hair and makeup for my wedding on 17th June. She was so professional and flexible, gave me the exact look I wanted and added her insights very gently. Malika and her team did both hair and makeup for me and my entire bridal party and I couldn’t have been more thrilled with her work! I don’t tend to wear a lot of makeup normally and really wanted to look like myself but enhanced. She arrived on time and finished on schedule which was especially important on my wedding day. I felt relaxed in her hands, as did the bridal party and especially the flower girl.
