Rainbow and her team are phenomenal. I did not stress once during the day. She allowed me to be a guest and enjoy my own wedding. The day flowed seamlessly. I had a wedding with a very large bridal party (17!) and Rainbow was so organized - we were even ahead of schedule which never happens! She is always one step ahead and anticipates my every move. We want to thank Rainbow and her team for helping with the month-of coordination of our wedding at Langdon Hall this past weekend. We also hired Rainbow to be our MC since many of our guests spoke Cantonese, and Rainbow could run the event in both English and Chinese.

From the beginning of hire, Rainbow was overall responsive in answering all the questions that we had. I am a pretty organized person myself and did not need much help picking out my own vendors, so the month-of coordination package was perfect for us. I appreciated how Rainbow helped answer my questions throughout the process, came up with a detailed scheduled (and revised it multiple times to match my changes and needs) and connected all our vendors in the last two weeks before the wedding. Raquel is amazing! Besides her always going above and beyond to deliver, she is exceptionally professional, organized, detail oriented, and responsive. We hired Raquel from RSG Events for my daughter’s wedding… and she was there more than a year ago, helping the young couple decide on their ideal venue. It went from a smaller, intimate ceremony to a destination wedding — which had to be cancelled due to covid. We had Jyoti as our full wedding planner for our wedding this past June. Jyoti did an amazing job and it was an absolute pleasure to work with her. My husband and I chose the Full Wedding Planning, Design and Coordination package for our South Asian-Canadian fusion wedding and we are sooooo glad we did! We had 9 months to plan our wedding - I had my eye on the SJ Soiree Instagram page for a few years (dreaming about my future wedding day), and the moment it was time to start planning our wedding, I knew exactly who I was going to contact!

- Every bride dreads the thought of it raining during her outdoor ceremony, and unfortunately that is what we were faced with on our day. Jyoti came prepared with umbrellas and a tent for the DJ booth and thank god she did!!! It started to downpour as we were supposed to walk down the aisle, but Jyoti and her team were prepared and our family and bridal party only got a tinyyyy bit wet compared to what it would have been without the life-saving umbrellas!! Thank you to Jyoti’s team members, Uroosa and Cassandra for embracing the rain as well!
- Jyoti and I had only briefly discussed having little black bows on our champagne tower (something I completely forgot about as the wedding got closer) and I was so happy to see during our reception hall reveal that she remembered such a little detail and had added bows to our champagne tower. It’s the little things!!
- The fact that our South Asian wedding ran exactly ON TIME (!!!!) was mind blowing to me - I thought for sure that being behind schedule was one thing we would have to accept, but that was not a problem because we had Jyoti running the show!!!

From the bottom of our hearts, we are so grateful for everything Jyoti and her team did for us during the planning process, as well as on the day of our wedding. Anytime we look back on our wedding, we will reflect on our amazing experience of working with Jyoti and her team.

My husband and I had the great fortune of selecting Studio V for our wedding that was held there earlier this month. Dawn's venue was the first we saw when we started looking for a space and we immediately knew it was the right venue for us. It is intimate with a lot of character and it was the perfect size for our wedding with 50 guests. And after meeting Dawn we knew we were in good hands.

Dawn was very helpful with assisting us plan our wedding. She was always available to answer questions and provide ideas.

On the day of, everywhere went off without a hitch. Dawn, Eliza and their staff did an excellent job decorating the venue and making sure our big day went smoothly. It was everything we hoped for.

My partner and I held our wedding here in October 2022. We wanted a small wedding due to the changing environment of covid and fell in love as soon as viewed the venue. We had the most beautiful wedding, bettet than we ever imagined.

Dawn and Eliza are both so amazing. From our first consultation and walk through, to booking and planning, right until the last mins of our wedding day, the communication was quick and the overall planning was easy. You want to have good communication with the venue and you get that when here. I felt super at ease especially for someone who is Type A.

At first i hesitated getting a wedding coordinator as naturally I love being hands on, but we found it so helpful to have Eliza communicating with our vendors and helping with our schedule. You need a Eliza by your side brides/grooms! Highly recommend getting the wedding coordination service as add on.

Our vision of our wedding came to life and Eliza was there to help flush it out to make it even better. We held our tea ceremony, nikkah, lunch reception and lion dance.

We probably could've came with less decor based on how much was at our disposable from Studio V. So if you're on a tight decor budget, and love dried florals, minimalism with a mix of boho, they may have what you want and more without the additional coordination or cost.

The staff that Studio V hired for the day of were also top notch. So kind, so helpful, and the service was beyond amazing. Even our guests were complimenting at how lovely the service was. As soon as you enter, you feel so welcomed.

Wouldn't have had my wedding any other way.

Shoutout to Studio V Events and their amazing crew, especially Dawn and Eliza, for making our wedding day an absolute blast! We had a Hindu ceremony, which required specific arrangements and traditions, and Eliza and Dawn helped make sure everything was in place, which made the ceremony flawless. We felt respected and valued throughout the entire process - Eliza was incredibly accommodating. Their respect for our traditions was apparent and we really appreciated that. We also were able to have our dog at the wedding which was wonderful!

Eliza helped us craft a flow of events and spent a bunch of time planning out the day with us over the phone. She had some great recommendations for vendors, the set up and the flow of events - all these aspects helped make our special day memorable. Our guests loved the space and the set up. Importantly, the team was super laid-back and calm, which seriously eased our wedding planning stress!

One of the most common pieces of advice I received before the wedding was that I wouldn't have time to enjoy the day because of all the chaos. However, thanks to Dawn, Eliza, and their fantastic team at Studio V Events, I can confidently say that we had an absolute blast at our wedding. They handled every detail with grace and efficiency, leaving us free to soak in every moment and enjoy our big day.

By her miraculous talent and quality products, my hair and its curls kept their volume and bounce the entire night!

Both Julie and Somaly made me feel like I was their top priority. They were prompt, organized, and worked efficiently, all while maintaining such a positive and calming energy. Absolutely thrilled with my experience with Julie. She did my bridal make up. She is so sweet, and I knew it was important to her to ensure that I was happy with my make up. She was super open to changing something if it wasn’t to my preference, I could tell that during the trial. The day of, nothing needed to be changed because my make up was PERFECT. I literally never say that and always find a problem with something in my appearance, but my make up was flawless. She was super understanding that I didn’t want false lashes and was avle to make my eyes pop using just liner and mascara. My skin looked flawless, and the quality of her products is clearly good because it stayed on perfectly and I had no irritation. I recommend her 10/10. Merci Julie !!!

I used the Beauty District Bridal services for my wedding a little less than a month ago, and I have to say I was extremely happy with their services. They did an amazing job for hair and makeup which lasted the whole night. They even have gorgeous accessories!! I would highly recommend :)

When looking for wedding officiants, my partner and I were a bit lost. After doing a few google searches, we found, who unbeknownst to us, is the Michael Jordan of the wedding officiants- The Marrying Lady, Tade.

After speaking with some of our friends, we discovered a few of them also had the great pleasure of being married by Tade.
We also had friends who had wanted her as their officiant, but unfortunately for them, was already booked.

Tade was absolutely incredible, our ceremony was perfectly "us" and all of our guests raved about how energetic and fun our entire ceremony was. She answered all of our many many questions along the way and made sure we were plenty prepared for our day, make sure you add on the walk through as it was instrumental to making sure the ceremony ran smoothly especially since we didn't have a wedding coordinator. If you are looking for an officiant look no further you have found the best in the biz!

We are a makeup and hairstyling academy from London UK and rented the studio for some masterclasses we ran in Toronto & it was absolutely perfect! The space is amazing, so much natural light & such a fabulous vibe to teach & take some beautiful photos & videos. The manager Danny was above & beyond helpful - super-responsive even when he was overseas on holiday himself. All of our extra requests were always accommodated. We'll definitely be back to run some more events here. Thanks Danny, you were an amazing help!

The studio was beautiful and Dan (the owner/runner) was so easy to communicate with and knew his stuff. Options for parking, had AC (though may be too noisy to leave on during shooting, FYI!), all the amenities, great bathroom and dressing room. Also great natural light option, and has studio lighting options (is extra but the lighting equipment is great quality). Room is voice controlled which is great. Clean, well maintained place! Will 110% book again!!

My experience at this space was amazing! To start, Danny was a fantastic host and was very accommodating and helpful to any requests that I had. I had every questioned answered and it made the whole process swift and easy.

The space looked great on the website but breathtaking in person. The Boho theme was relaxing but elegant and it set the entire vibe of what I was going for. Every guest that came in also had incredible things to say about the look and decor of the place. It was a very spacious space and easily fit 30 people with no problem at all.

Overall I was absolutely satisfied with what the space had to offer and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested in renting this place out for an event.

Lia made for a FLAWLESS wedding day! We used the month-of-coordinator service which was perfect for getting all of the last minute details sorted. She had great, professional communication with all of our vendors and venue staff - we did not have to worry about a thing! The flow of our wedding day was excellent and she kept us on schedule. Could not recommend Lia and her team enough!

Lia is amazing! She helped us execute the wedding of our dreams and took on the theme we wanted and made it happen. She kept track of all the details we didn't even know we needed to keep track of. She walked us through the structure of a wedding and personalized it for what we wanted. She was kind and courteous to guests and helped us rehearse beforehand. She kept every speech and photo session on track and on time to ensure we got to enjoy our wedding. She coordinated with our vendors so we didn't have to closer to the date of our wedding. She was great with the little touches that helped to make our night memorable and special and even made us a plate of food to make sure we were well fed during photo sessions so we got to taste our own appetizers and have special moments with each other during a very busy night which wouldn’t have happened without her. We are so thankful for her and highly recommend her.

Lia has been integral to my wedding day!!!! She had many meetings with me prior to my wedding and even more closer to the date (it was extremely helpful). I didn’t have to worry about a thing! She had everything planned out for me. Not only did she coordinate all the vendors and ensure we were on schedule, her energy and words of encouragement were priceless. She kept reminding us to take in the moment and be present - I appreciated this a lot 💕 The evening ran so smoothly and she was there at the drop of a hat if something needed to be addressed so that me and my husband could enjoy the day/ evening! I cannot fully express here how important of a role she played and I highly recommend her - the best money spent on my wedding! She had her assistant stay very late into the evening as well and helped me pack all our belongings which was also very helpful! Thank you Lia!!

Roxy and her team planned our wedding celebration and rehearsal party. Everything was great and we had all the support we needed. Roxy is an event expert and it is a pleasure working with her. She made sure our special day was a perfect one.

Roxy is an incredible person and the best wedding planner/designer/therapist/cheerleader! She can really read your mind and get everything just the way you want it (even if you are not sure yet how you want things to be). I felt so calm knowing that she and her team were part of my wedding. Everything was so beautiful and perfect: the bouquets and flowers, décor, coordination... Everything was wonderful!

I cannot rave enough about the outstanding services Roxy provided us for our wedding. She is truly a talent. We went with Roxy and Art of Celebrations for designing our engagement party and couldn't be happier! This was our first time working with a planner. We are not super creative people and really relied on Roxy's advice and insight to make our event stand out. I would like to share my experience with Art of Celebrations and specifically Roxy. It was in one word "great"!!! From the beginning Roxy was a polished professional who knew her industry inside out and made my daughter's shower a reality from the image I had in mind. I didn't want to overwhelm myself with dress shopping so I only went to one other store and my experience at Blu Ivory was so much better. The store is clean and felt cozy. They have a more private room that is good for larger groups, however, my entourage was small so we would have fit fine anywhere!

I never felt pressured to make a decision and the associate who helped me was very fun and casual, which is what you want when trying on wedding dresses!

They have a range of dresses at different price points which is great, and I appreciated their selection of "curvy" sample dresses.

Once I purchased my dress, the process was very smooth for making additional appointments for alterations and pick-up.

I went dress shopping in Blu Ivory last week and had an amazing experience. Gillian assisted us and she was nothing but spectacular. The selection of dresses is amazing. Would highly recommend!

I went to several bridal shops across Toronto and had one of the best experiences at Blu Ivory, which is also where I ordered my dress. I came in knowing exactly what type of dress I wanted but Gillian was amazing at pulling great alternatives which made the final decision so difficult! She was patient and really made the vision come to life by adding a matching veil, making me see the dress in different lighting etc.

The shop is clean and has a great selection for all budgets. I really appreciated that they have the dresses on their website with price ranges so you can efficiently plan your appointments. I'm looking forward to picking up my dress in a few months!

Blu Ivory was the first store I visited when searching for my wedding dress. I was feeling so anxious before the day started but having Gillian as my consultant made my experience seem like I was trying on dresses with my best friend. She was so warm, kind, and friendly and was honestly such a cheerleader with everything I tried on. I wasn't really sure what I wanted going into the appointment, but she was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in making recommendations that helped me narrow down what styles I liked. Although I didn't find my dream dress here, I would recommend this boutique and Gillian in a heartbeat. It made my experience such a joy and positive one.

My friends and I were window shopping on Monday August 11th and were curious as to where the staircase next to Boutique 1861 would lead to. We soon learnt that it lead to Boudoir 1861, the bridal sister shop of Boutique 1861. We arrived close to closing time, but the two female staff were very kind and accomodating. Upon entering my eyes kept wandering to one of the dresses on a mannequin. The staff help in making sure it fit well and suited my needs, which convinced me to make the purchase. Thank you again for the friendly and welcoming customer service! Especially as a younger group it was greatly appreciated.

Yasmine is a genius! Lustre was recommended to me for my bridal outfit by two different people that I trust implicitly, so it was obvious where I was going to go. I tried on a few dresses at some big dress shops but nothing felt right. When I met with Yasmine for a consultation, it was like magic, she was putting me in this skirt and then that top etc., and the resulting design was a total collaboration between the two of us. The whole process to trying on the final outfit was so unbelievably easy, especially since I trusted Yasmine completely. I was so entirely enamored with the final outfit, I felt so totally me just elevated, exactly what I had dreamed of. I was comfortable all night too! I can't wait to get the outfit dyed so I can wear it again!

When I first found Boutique Lustre on instagram I was stuck on what I wanted for my wedding. Yasmine’s friendly posts and passion for her art really sold me on a visit. I've been buying pieces from Lustre's regular collections for year, and love them and wear them nearly daily BUT this is a review specifically for Lustre's bridal work. Yasmine is a genius and her whole team is fantastic. My wedding outfit was a bit of a project - altering a vintage family dress to be a skirt, and then creating a top to match. Prior to visiting Boutique Lustre, I was struggling to find a Canadian wedding dress in my budget. I ended up trying on dress after dress that felt plasticky and cheap despite the huge price tag. Working with Yasmin was an incredible experience. She knows her dresses!! We tried many different combinations of material, tops and bottoms to create the dress of my dreams. My dress was simple, romantic and timeless thanks to Yasmin. The material was silk backed crepe which feels like BUTTER. On the hanger it feels heavy, but Yasmin knows just how to cut it to make it float as you walk. I had two fittings and picked up the dress about a month from the wedding date.
I sadly don't have a picture of the night before the wedding, but I also wore a dress from Boutique Lustre. I have loved getting to know Yasmin and her shop and I know I will be a customer for life!

For any bride looking for a simplified, relaxed, yet completely unique and special wedding dress experience, you need to get to this wonderful shop! Yasmine is a true master of her craft and seemed to understand my vision better than I did! She worked on a short timeline, was very professional, and went above and beyond to create a look that felt absolutely perfect for me!

I was trying to plan a bachelor party and having trouble bringing it all together and finding time to book reservations. I called Connected Montreal and Oren gave me a ton of options and had us set up with a full itinerary that fit our group right away. Definitely would use this service as the weekend was awesome and would not have compared if we tried to plan ourselves. Oren and Hurricane Tony took care of us all weekend and helped out with local stuff like what bars to hit, brunch spots, places to hang out during the day. Highly recommend Oren and his team for coordinating your itinerary/bachelor party plans. It was a huge help for us, especially my party, which included 20 plus individuals. From the housing, to the meals, and everything else in between, it was perfect and couldn’t have asked for a better weekend!!
