We are so grateful for everything Bellamy Loft did to make our wedding day so seamless and beautiful. From the start, the team was organized and responsive, which gave us so much peace of mind during planning.

The setup and décor were everything we dreamed of. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how gorgeous everything looked, and my bouquet was honestly one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen.

We just got married at Bellamy Loft, it was such a wonderful experience. Bellamy Loft gave my husband and I a wedding better than either of us could have ever imagined. Not living in Toronto, I was uncertain how we would ever find vendors and a venue for our dream wedding. Bellamy Loft took all the worry away.
The venue; small but absolutely beautiful. As a few guests said to us, "don't let the outside fool you!"
The workers and coordinators, all wonderful, from Bianca always responding in a timely manner to any and all questions by email, to Novia and Lydia helping with planning and the final set up. Everyone was a pleasure to work with.
Their partner vendors are also all terrific! They selected them all for us, and while we were nervous a little, after the night we had, we would not change a thing! The photographer was lovely and we are excited to see all of the beautiful shots! The photobooth is a must! We have still been receiving raving reviews about the food and how lovely of a bartender Matthew was. And no one can stop talking about Chris, the DJ and how he brought the party and the party never stopped!

Bellamy Loft took care of everything at an extremely reasonable price. Our officiant was attentive and charismatic. Our photographer had attention to detail. The venue was perfect. The focus was on us as a couple and we didn't have to stress about a thing! Would highly recommend to couples looking for an intimate ceremony. Thank you for everything.

I had the most wonderful experience at Blush & Raven! After trying several boutiques, I finally found my wedding dress - and actually had a hard time selecting after falling in love with so many options!) As my bridal consultant during the appointment, Lexie was absolutely amazing, and made me feel so confident and relaxed (which was wonderful as a super stressed bride to be!)

My experience at Blush & Raven was exceptional! I had scheduled my initial appointment, and a dress from a designer they carried caught my eye online. I emailed them to see if they had it at the boutique, and they didn’t. So I asked if there was any way that they could have the dress brought in, thinking it would be an immediate ‘no.’ They told me they would see what they could do. Fast forward to my appointment, and they brought out a few gorgeous dresses that were top contenders, and I had assumed they weren’t able to bring the other dress in. Sure enough, after a bit of time, they finally told me they had the dress there!! That dress ended up being the one I picked, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the B&R team for making it happen. The boutique is stunning, the dress options are gorgeous, and the customer service is unmatched. I would highly recommend B&R to all brides looking for a curated and seamless experience.

I cannot express how grateful I am to have had such a wonderful experience at Blush and Raven. Yasmeen is an incredible stylist - so good at what she does - and really did go above and beyond to help meet my criteria while also working with a very short timeline. I felt entirely taken care of by all of the girls at Blush and Raven and really did feel that they’d do everything possible (even if it seemed impossible) to help me find or create the dress of my dreams. Given how quickly I required a dress, I really don’t think I’d ever be able to have the full wedding gown buying experience, but these girls gave me that and more, and I will be forever grateful.

Every dress Kat pulled for me felt like it could have been the one, seriously they were all so perfect! She has a real gift. Plus, she is super fun! We all had the best time that afternoon.

The whole process for receiving my dress was also very smooth, the team kept me informed on arrival dates etc.

The tailor that was on their recommended list (Glenmore Alterations) was also amazing and customized my overskirt exactly the way I envisioned!

Blush & Raven is a must! I had an amazing bridal shopping experience here and it was such a special day. The boutique itself is stunning, very modern and beautiful. I opted for a luxury appointment and am so happy that I did. The room was beautiful and the refreshments provided were perfect. When we arrived we were greeted by Yasmeen, who was a fantastic stylist. She had an interview with me at the beginning and really listened to what I was asking for and the styles I was interested in, and throughout the appointment she pulled a range of dresses she knew would be perfect for the wedding venue and vibes. I really appreciated how she made sure to get to know both myself and the group I was with, and my whole group truly loved our appointment. During the whole process Yasmeen made me feel incredibly comfortable and beautiful, and her expertise on not just the dresses and any alterations we could do but also the overall bridal styling and accessories was amazing. While I didn’t end up buying my dress from here, this was a boutique I will recommend anyone. If you’re looking for a personalized shopping experience, with Yasmeen as your stylist you are in great hands!

I fell in love with a dress and ended up buying it!! Only thing is the employees were lacking is service. I didn’t take an appointment and there was 3 sales associates that were dealing with another client and I was stuck clamping my own dress and getting my own veil to try on. Instead the sales rep is snacking in front of clients instead of helping. Over all I am happy with the dress I just think the staff should be more present with the bride…

I just wanted to express how amazing my experience has been at 1861 the past several times I’ve gone! I also want to thank them for ACTUALLY being size inclusive!! I am a size 18/ 20 and normally I dread shopping because there is not enough selection in my size and it’s usually not very fashionable or stylish. But this wasn’t the case for me yesterday. Two women really took care of me and found a selection of 10 dresses I could try on! Now, not all of them fit but I actually had some amazing choices! I am elated at the dress I found as well as the entire shopping experience, I am so grateful!

I have also had many great past shopping experiences and have brought several friends to buy dresses here. It never disappoints! Highly recommended!

I’ve bought two dresses for occasions this summer and the styles and quality are amazing. Service both times was exceptional as well. Team is super nice.
What makes this store stand out is their service. I bought a dress in May for an event in Greece in August and I only just re-tried it on to find out it doesn’t fit, with two days until my trip! Rookie mistake! I reached out to their team as they still have this dress in the size I need and Lily went above and beyond by listening, emphasizing and escalating to store management to see if they could exceptionally help me. Because of their above and beyond service, I’ll be happy to recommend them and will only by my event dresses through them moving forward! Exceptional service! Thanks everyone involved!

I bought a wrong dress for a marriage. I came back to return it and find the right dress for me. The workers were so kind and helpful both times I bought the dress. They helped me find the right one and I am so happy with my experience. I love my dress!!

We were there for a party of a friend.
It was a quit place right in the middle of the downtown. Easy access with public transportation. Good place for not family parties.
I didn't like the place for a family party because of five reason:
1 the air-conditioning wasn't work properly and for hot days it wasn't a good place
2 the sound system was not really for party. It was like a very simple home sound system. The sound hasn't good quality.
3 the entrance was not appropriate for wheelchair or stroller. There were a few steps to enter the salon.
4 like number 3 the washroom was on the basement and for guest with limited ability is hard to access.
5 the kitchen was too small for arranging lunch, dinner,... For 20,30 guests

I should mention that finding parking is really hard in Friday, Sunday nights.

Nice place in downtown Montreal, with a couple of caveats.

I recently organized an evet at Caucus and overall, I was happy with the experience. However there are a couple of things that can be improved.

First the good things:
Shawn was a great communicator and was quite prompt in answering emails. The location is quite nice and even though finding parking spots on the street in not easy, there are quite a few indoor parking spaces close by at reasonable cost.

There is a nice bar at the corner of the room, which proved to be quite popular for our event :-) and there are enough chairs to seat around 20 people. This was enough for our group since our guests were mostly young and many were standing around chatting.

There are two washrooms downstairs (you would need to take 7-8 stairs to go down), and again that was quite ok for our guests, but if you have older guests or guests with limited mobility, this needs to be taken into account.

The kitchen was ok for our event since we didn't plan to server hot/warm food, but if you do, keep in mind there are no stoves or microwave ovens.

Now the things that can be improved:

There is an air conditioner, but it's certainly not strong enough for a hot summer evening (like the one we had) when there are around 30 people or more in the room. Shawn offered me to take a tour of the room a week before, which I did, and the room seemed comfortably cool, but it was impossible to imaging how it would feel once the room is full of people and if the weather outside is hot. So on the day of the event, unfortunately, almost all of our gusts felt uncomfortably hot. Such a nice place could've been much better equipped for Montreal summers.

Finally, the pricing policy could be made more flexible, esp. for private events, when the host might not know exactly how long the event could last. The current policy says $200/hour or $1500/day, but if you reserve for say 6 hours and end up using the place for 9 hours, you will end up paying (6*200) plus an additional (3*200) for a total of $1800 which is more than a full day. This doesn't make much sense.

Overall, I'd recommend this place for corporate or private parties of up to 40 people max, and when the weather is cool outside. Also, if you're not sure how long your party could last (including the time it takes to clean up), you're better off paying the $1500/day.

On behalf of my team and I, we were very happy with Caucus and we recommend this place to all of our partners, coworkers and family members. This is a very beautiful place, fully equipped, easy to access as it is situated in Downtown Montreal. Shawn, the venue contact, will answer all your questions very fast and will give you easy instructions and reminders about the place. Everyone had a great time! Thank you Caucus!

Amazing experience! Very nice space that is perfect to throw a social or corporate event. The concept is very convenient too, sort of like Airbnb, where you can easily rent the space and have access to it without having to meet with anyone.

Durand Bridal is the only reason I was able to get my wedding dress in time for my wedding. I cannot put into words how grateful I am for Leslie and her team. Leslie went above and BEYOND to help me get my dress after my local bridal shop scammed me out of my money. Leslie was able to secure my dress from the designer and ensured that she would have it for me before my big day. The communication was beyond anything I ever expected. After everything I had gone through with my local shop, I was scared, heartbroken, and felt like I couldn't trust anyone. Leslie called me and text me several times to reassure me that she had MY dress and I was HER bride. Hearing those words was the most comforting and reassuring thing. And after everything, she even hooked me up with the most incredible seamstress who was able to do all of my alterations with only one fitting. I had my heart set on this dress, and without Leslie and her team, my dream would have been absolutely crushed. I will always recommend Leslie and Durand Bridal. I know it sounds dramatic, but in my eyes, Leslie saved my wedding ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Every bride needs to come here! The experience and the service is received here is how every bride should feel trying on wedding dresses! They are so extremely professional here and the variety of dresses they have you'll definitely find something you love! Dresses in all sizes which as a plus size bride i felt so good being here. They had exactly what I was looking for and I was able to say yes to my dress here! I wish I could remember my consultants name! It started with a G and she deserves a raise and more vacation time! She is what made my experience so wonderful and she is fantastic at her job!

My daughter and I stopped in at Durand Bridal on a Sunday afternoon in June - without an appointment - and were warmly greeted by staff. We were not expecting that they would be able to allow my daughter to try on some dresses for her 2026 wedding without an appointment but they were only too happy to accommodate us. Gracie was our appointed stylist and what a gem she is! So professional and helpful! Gracie completely understood my daughter's wish for a grand ball gown style dress and after trying on several dresses, found THE dress. The dress of her dreams. A big bonus that the dress also happened to be on sale. We returned a week later with my daughter's bridal entourage and went through the dresses again for comparison. All that were present LOVED the dress too! My daughter is extremely fussy and was anxious over such a momentous decision but all of her concerns were put to rest in the competent hands of Gracie and staff. There was never a hint of pressure or any sense of feeling rushed whatsoever. I would wholeheartedly recommend Durand Bridal for selection, staff and top notch service. Thank you Durand for such a memorable experience!

From trying on, buying, and picking up my dress, the experience I had with Durand was perfect. As someone who’s very picky, my consultant, Kora, truly could not have done any better than she did. I went in with a pretty clear vision in my head, and Kora pulled a dress that captured all the aspects I imagined, but also exceeded my expectations tenfold, all while being in budget. I can’t thank her enough for making my dress dreams come true. It’s clear that the entire Durand team absolutely loves what they do, and that’s reflected throughout the whole experience.

I had gone for my Senior Prom and it was such a lovely venue the staff were so incredibly accommodating and kind, I had such a lovely time and I'm so happy that this was the venue for my last celebration in High-school! The speakers were great and the decor and photography opportunities were absolutely grandiose! I cannot express how kind and patient the staff were and I'm so utterly greatful for their kindness. Such a lovely venue made the night that much more special! I also really really appreciated the option of gender neutral bathrooms and the cleanliness of said bathrooms. Overall the whole experience was excellent!

What can I say about this place?

Well... A great beautiful place to have memorable moments, the staff, each one of them just flawless customer service, the food? Just extremely delicious!!! The servers, classy, professionals and friendly.

We hosted a Sufi Night at Empire Banquet Hall, and the experience was outstanding. Manjeet and Gurinder went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Even though I hired a sound engineer, they helped me maneuver through all the necessary vendors—personally contacting them and helping to arrange the services I needed. Their support with the sound system, decorations, and overall setup made a complex event feel effortless.

The food was unbelievable, and everyone was amazed not only by the facility but also by the warmth of the service and the exceptional quality of the food. Empire Banquet Hall truly delivered in every way, and I would highly recommend them to anyone planning a special event.

Best wedding venue in the Calgary/Airdrie area!!

I have always had my heart set on getting married here ever since my friend chose this venue for her wedding in 2019. I was a bridesmaid in that wedding and after that night, I knew Gathered would be at the top of my list when it was my turn to get married.

My sister also got married here a year before I did, which proves how special and sought after this venue is.

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect thanks to Alysa, Elaine, Ashley and her team. It went exactly how we envisioned it and our guests had such an amazing time. They raved about the food, the beauty of the venue, and the friendly hard-working staff.

Gathered offers an “all inclusive” type package of sorts which includes elements that take the pressure and stress off the bride and groom with wedding planning. This venue works well with all sorts of themes and aesthetics. The natural beauty of the space offers such a beautiful backdrop for your ceremony and reception.

It’s a bonus that this venue is close by to Airdrie and North Calgary. There’s several hotels to choose from in Airdrie to host your guests, and there’s also a campground nearby.

The food is absolutely amazing. Elaine puts so much care and love into what she serves you and your guests. Everything we had at our wedding was outstanding.

I cannot recommend this venue enough. The Gathered and Fiore team are great to work with and they make sure everything is taken care of on your big day. You won’t regret booking them!

Fun beautiful place for a wedding, the lighting can be quite low at all times of day so I would highly recommend looking into photographers with off camera flash experience. The whole park is beautiful and lovely for weddings!

Located at the back corner of the park, Gunn's Dairy Barn has a delicious assortment of food. Beef or Chicken burger, hotdogs all nice. Go on a rainy day and it'll be pretty empty. Only complaint was pretzel bun on burger was a tad cold. Definitely coming back.

A very solid venue that's quite flexible with special requests for events. Not much space though and style is country only.

Staff were enthusiastic and very helpful. The brunch was good and fresh food was rotated in quite often.

The food was amazing - the buffet was filling, we didn't eat anything until the next day.

I couldn’t have asked for a nicer venue to host my intimate wedding then at Jan’s Garden. It was a beautiful place, with tons of gorgeous flowers and greenery. Jan was friendly , accommodating to our requests and made things simple.
The venue does offer a photograph and an officiator which makes things easy. We didn’t use the photograph (we already one) however we did use the Officiator who was lovely.

I recently had the opportunity to photograph a wedding at Jan’s Garden and it was a great experience from start to finish. The garden is stunning and it’s clear how much time and love has gone into it. As a photographer, it was a fun space to work in with different levels and plenty of space to move around without disturbing guests. Jan is also wonderful! She’s very kind and made sure everyone was taken care of — it was cool and a little rainy the day of the wedding, and she even brought a blanket out for the flower girl. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an intimate wedding ceremony venue.

Every single request, even the ones I forgot I had made, were fulfilled. For example, I had told her to make sure one of my guests had enough space to accommodate a special chair, and that guest was so touched and surprised when she came to him! It’s the little things like that that makes your day magical even for your guests. Those who were sceptical about the necessity of having a planner were the first ones to write down her name for when their daughters would get married lol!

I got married end of August 2021 and I already miss working with Shadia. She was the shoulder I could lean on and the person I could vent to whenever something would come up.

Today (February 27, 2025) I had my hair cut and styled by Faith (hairdresser at the Strathmore Runway Hair Design Company Inc.). I am very pleased with the result; and the experience was very positive. Faith was very attentive to what I wanted and Faith made efforts to transform my ideas to make me feel better about myself than just 'plain' grandma. Faith took the time to trim the back of my hair a second time and to make adjustments with the layers as we discussed what I preferred. I am very pleased with this service and I want to recommend this hair salon, and Faith as a hairdresser, to anyone who is looking for a new look or to manage their hairstyle.

Nice salon for sure. Decent place to get a straight forward man's cut for a fair price. They won't absolutely cookie cutter it like the barber shop by M & M meats, and they won't push you to do something more adventurous if you don't want. If you want anything more unique they have obviously got that covered too. I always go with Melissa.

I've made this place my chosen hair cut option after struggling to find a barber shop or salon in Strathmore that was the right balance of simple yet also sophisticated as you want to be.

My first positive dress shopping experience! My stylist was Georgette and she was so incredibly helpful, encouraging, knowledgeable, and fun to shop with! Her attention to detail and understanding of bridal styles helped me narrow down my super broad ideas to what I wanted. The appointment wasn’t rushed and she wasn’t trying to make a sale and kick us out. She really listened and tailored the dresses she picked to what I was feeling or not. I did not find my dress here but it wasn’t because of a lack of dress selection or a bad stylist, I just decided to get a traditional dress made instead. There are so many different beautiful dresses here with a great size range and great price points too! I’m talking amazing high fashion, high quality gowns at affordable prices. This was also the first time I was able to try on all of the dresses in my size! 1000/10 experience at Sash and Bustle!

Every bride should check this boutique out when dress shopping. Maybe even make it your first stop and save yourself the trouble because it was such a great experience.

Full stars for everything. From the dress catalog to the service, everything was amazing. The stylist was Maemae and she truly made this experience one to remember forever. My friend was stuck between 2 beautiful options and Maemae was able to help guide her to choosing the best dress for her. We did decide to take some time to think on it, and they were so accommodating to let us come back later in the afternoon. We loved that there were private rooms for each of the brides to be and their group. It really set the experience apart from the other boutiques we went to. The selection of dresses was amazing. I went here for my first bridal shopping experience and I had such a positive and fun time! Justice was so helpful with figuring out what silhouettes and fabrics I liked - it's so different looking at a photo online versus it being on your body. I was able to try on about 10 dresses total, and I left with the names of my 3 favourites! I wasn't ready to purchase as it was my first visit, but I would definitely come back here. I had a wonderful experience finding my dress at Sash & Bustle! I truly believe that the consultant makes or breaks the appointment, and Georgette was absolutely fantastic. She listened to my preferences when deciding what dresses to put me into, but also used her creativity to pick out the perfect dress for me! She interacted with my entire party, including my family on FaceTime, and made us all feel so welcome. The entire appointment was so professional and polished - we all left feeling very happy!

I had an absolutely horrific experience with this woman. She was extremely unprofessional and completely ruined what was supposed to be a special day ,my children’s birthday.

From the moment of tear-down, things escalated in a shocking way. She screamed at me inside my own home, in front of my children and family, with no regard for basic respect or professionalism. She called me names, broke a plate, and dropped food on the floor ,and left it there. I have cameras in my basement and video evidence of her behavior, which I will post if necessary.

She also demanded help during setup and take down, even though those services were clearly included in what I paid for. When I told her no one was available, she threw a tantrum and acted completely out of control. Despite all of this, my husband still decided to help her out of kindness, since she was alone trying to tear down an entire setup ,even though she claims to have a team . This experience made it painfully clear that it’s a complete waste of time to hire someone who operates like this. You’re far better off going with a real business that has a proper team , it saves time, avoids unnecessary conversations, and doesn’t place unrealistic expectations on the client. I’ve never seen anything like this before.

She also provided tables and chairs as a favor, which she brought up repeatedly ,almost as if to guilt-trip me. In the end, I told her to take the deposit as payment for those so called free items just to put an end to the nonsense. But the way she kept bringing it up made the gesture feel meaningless and manipulative.

If I could take the whole experience back, I would a million times over. She is horrific. Completely unprofessional.

Thank you for your reply. I must respectfully disagree with your statement that you take professionalism and client satisfaction seriously. I have camera footage that contradicts several of the claims you made.

You mention accommodating multiple reschedules, If you were unable to manage them, you could have declined, but instead you chose to continue.

On the day of the event, you arrived unprepared and disorganized, bringing items without a clear plan and saying, “let’s see how we can do it.” You also added number boxes to the payment but never delivered them.

You repeatedly emphasized that the table and chairs were a “favor,” even though it was already agreed they would be free of charge. Later, you kept my $100 deposit, dismissing it as me “crying” over money, despite the fact that it was a refundable deposit due back at teardown.

During setup, my husband and brother assisted with carrying EVERYTHING because you arrived alone with a truck full of items. A plate was broken, and while you picked up the large piece, the rest of the mess was left behind and also did not mention that you broke my belongings.

Most concerning, during teardown you raised your voice, insulted me in my own home, and called me “crazy.” This is not professionalism it is disrespect.

I expect a formal apology for the service and behavior I experienced.

I came to Bridal Dressez (also known as Showcase Boutique at 636 Jean-Talon) with my friend, who wears a hijab, to help her shop for her wedding.

We were completely ignored, even after asking for help multiple times. Indian and Pakistani customers — including some who came in after us — were greeted and served right away. The Pakistani women weren’t wearing hijab.

When we asked again, we were told “someone else will help you,” but no one ever did. It felt intentional, and we left feeling humiliated.

I don’t know why, but we were clearly not treated the same as everyone else.

The team at Tenue de Soirée is professional, dedicated, creative and very helpful. They were very generous with their time when helping us figure out suitable decorations for our wedding, they have a large selection of beautiful items and original ideas on how to use them.

We are from out of town, and both Josianne and Mireille helped us find all the decor we need for our wedding! They both took the time to personally set up the linens, the candles, the vases, and even brought in glassware and plates (which they don't rent), just to paint the full picture! Awesome venue and staff! We had a corporate event here in October 2024, and it was so well run and organized from start to finish. I vetted a couple of other venues and some of the details the other venues didn't handle or charged extra for were a turn off for me as an organizer.
