My mom, fiancé and I went both days for the show and we had a blast. It was a great opportunity to meet skilled vendors and win prizes for your special day. I had the opportunity to speak with Shelagh and she clearly loves what she does! Will be returning for the fall show!

This show is advertised to start at 11 am but the fashion show starts at 10:30 am and ends before the wedding show opens. So if you happen to be early you can catch part of the show - really bizarre decision making on the part of the organizers. The fashion show itself is in a hallway with a short runway and a single row of chairs on each side. The venue is small and the number and type of of exhibitors is limited. Way too many "photo booth" exhibitors. This show is disappointing and overpriced. Even though a feature of the admission price is that you can go for both days, who would want to? Better to save your money and go the wedding show at the EY Centre.

Thanks to her incredible talent and expertise, my new husband, his Best Man and I were definitely dressed to impress on our big day! I felt like a rockabilly princess in my beautiful tea length custom wedding dress, which had a gorgeous dark purple faux petticoat, and the guys looked amazing in their matching custom made purple vests and bow ties. 😍

Also, when the florist that we had chosen unexpectedly closed their doors just a few months before our wedding, Emmane swooped in and saved the day! Through her floral company BLOEM Atelier, she was able to provide us with the bouquets and boutonnieres that we needed for our wedding. Even with such short notice, Emmane was able to create such beautiful bouquets and boutonnieres 😍. They even included my favourite flower - purple tulips! - which complemented my dress perfectly, and looked incredible in our wedding photos!

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Emmane! 💕 Reaching out to her was one of the best decisions that I made, and I highly recommend her wedding services!

I attended the PETIT Salon Marions-Nous on February 4, 2034 at the Palais des Congrès and frankly, I am really disappointed with the experience! Barely a few interesting kiosks. It wasn't worth the trip or the $25 access fee. We did the tour in 30 minutes! Anything...

Beautiful living room even if it is not very big. The only big downside is the parade. The dresses were wrinkled, the veils crumpled and there was even a male model who went on stage with an open tray. So a big lack of professionalism at this level.

Previously, we purchased multiple dresses from Oksana – Cross Iron Location. Unfortunately, that location closed down. My sisters were in from out of province and we all wanted to purchase dresses (at least 4) for an upcoming wedding. We attended the Sunridge Location, only to realize that it was only open by appointment. Access was restricted. When we saw an employee, we were told to book an appointment and come back – even though the store was clearly empty. How can a store in a mall effectively close, while the mall is open? We used to be loyal Oksana clients. We won’t be returning. Good luck.

Is the worst experience, we wanted to go and check 2 dresses for my daughter and the lady at the entrance didn't let us go inside, kind of rude when she said a couple people just stole a dress, so what she was telling us...that we looks like a robbers??.. they can buy antitheft devices if they are so worried, but how they treat customers is unacceptable. They have to add in the store info that the store is closed and just open for appointment. If they want to keep losing clients, keep going with the worst service ever.

Rude customer service. You cannot exchange the gowns too even if you bought same day.

I don’t know how to reply. I bought 2 gowns for my daughter’s 1st birthday i went twice in the store same week after i bought. The price tag still there.

My daughter had the best experience purchasing her prom dress. Oksana recommended a dress that she fell in love with and we ordered it right away❤️

Workers were very rude, my daughter was really looking forward to this experience and did a lot of research on prom dress shops in Calgary, workers were rushing us and extremely unhelpful regarding dress sizes. My daughter was very overwhelmed and stressed by their pushy behaviour and was near tears. Would not suggest to anyone wish specific needs in sizing or if you want an enjoyable shopping experience.

Purchased my wedding dress at Vania Spose and I was so happy with the experience! They had a lot of options of different styles and a wide price range. I truly felt like my dress was made for me and it was the perfect finishing touch to my wedding day. Truly recommend Vania Spose!

Beautiful store with nice dresses would have giving it a 4-5 star review if it wasn’t for my recent experience.

I went on Saturday to try on a dress and comments such as ; if I ate a pig before coming or I partied too much were said, and not only once but multiple times. I don’t remember the employee’s name only that she had tattoos (not judging I myself and my friends who were present had visible tattoos). Having previously worked in a high end dress boutique, these are not comments that should ever be said to a person no matter the reason and language barrier is definitely not an excuse. Going in for a dress fitting is a stressful experience and this cemented my reason of ordering online to avoid being in this position.

Of course during the call received from the owner after the visit with many apologies and slight guilt trip, I had told her it was okay and that I wouldn’t be continuing my purchase with their boutique. Being told that that’s their employee’s humour was simply baffling as I don’t even speak to my close friends like that.

Despite never being requested for a deposit for the dress when ordering over the phone being told by a third party that I would have to pay for a dress even though it didn’t fit. For someone who works in customer service it is inexcusable.

A response isn’t necessary because I don’t want a copy pasted generic reply with false apologies. Did is just a warning for future potential clients, if you’re not in their close circle you may have a similar experience.

*Having your friends writing reviews to boost up the rating and attacking others is not how a business owner should proceed knowing that your employee was at fault. The way the situation is being handled in the rating is unbelievable.

I bought my dress 3 months before my wedding, I went around to multiple stores but did not find anything like I found at Vania.

I found THE DRESS! A gorgeous Royal elegant and very worked dress.

I’ve been a faithful customer for over 20 years & I’ve never heard such a discriminatory remark about a salesperson such as Shanti’s remark referring to the salesperson with Alice in Wonderland tattoos. Never judge a book by its cover. Erica is wonderful tactful individual who takes pride in her job, unlike you who discriminates just by the look of a person & exaggerated to make yourself look good. No way I will never believe what you wrote. I can vow to the best service & special attention the staff & owner gives their customers for any occasion. I advise anger management courses for you. I can’t recommend pearl bridal house enough! I was lucky enough to experience their first location before their big move to the new beautiful space. I had a wonderful experience and only needed two visits to know this was the place! They had a great selection and amazing inventory! I was overly anxious for 8 months while waiting for my dress. Everytime I checked in, they always made me feel at ease and comfortable. I also did my hemming here and felt totally taken care of! I would 10/10 recommend! I included photos of dresses I tried on and the dress I chose!

I had the most incredible experience at Pearl Bridal! From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and truly invested in helping me find the dress. They took the time to understand my vision, offering thoughtful guidance without ever making me feel rushed or pressured.

We came from Saskatchewan to find a wedding dress for my future daughter-in-law. Mary was absolutely awesome! She knew what dresses to get Lauryn to try on and she ended up finding her dress! Then while looking down stairs, I found my mother of the groom dress and her grandma found the perfect pant suit. The dress was a great price as well. I called Friday to ask if it’s ok to come with no appointment just to look at the dresses without trying them on, the man said yes, he was really nice. Then I called Saturday to ask again the same question to be sure and it was a yes again, and today I went there and the lady clearly didn’t wanted to help. I understand you have customers to look after but I do not need anything because I will just have a look ,I don’t know what I will like as a dress and I called 2 times, if they would’ve told to me that I specifically need an appointment I wouldn’t have come.She makes us remove our shoes to go upstairs and again she says but you can look online. I just left,0 customer service .

I felt very welcomed coming into this store. George told me and my fellow bride that our stress will go away once we get into his store. The experience was amazing. The build up to the « yes to the dress » was magical. I found my dress and veil with Mary’s help. They were wonderful. 100% recommend this place to my friends and my family! Please come! Parking is cheaper than downtown!

The disrespect is on the second level! If i had the choice of giving zero star i would do it! The sales person was rude man, didn't care what you are looking for, says anything and contradicted himself to much. He wants you to buy any dress even if it doesnt fit you. I was trying to help my mother with a dress that had alot of default and he literally said" why dont you let you mother buy the dress... go buy her an ugly dress". Like excuses me ? Dont waste your time with this store.

Ordered a dress , gave a price , came back seamstresses couldn’t complete the work ( truly not her fault was overwhelmed it seemed with work ) , owner asked for more money …. After the price was set. Advised take my deposit im leaving, owner changed his mind . 3 weeks before wedding seamstress quit , no one called. I picked the dress up and paid an extra 150$ to another 3 rd party to finish the dress.
Not recommended.

Staff is completely out of touch. They are not “direct” or “straight forward” - they are unkind. I would rather give my business to SHEIN and/or anyone else.

Also the dresses are exceedingly overpriced (and very much based on what they think you can afford). The shopping experience is awful. Dresses not separated by size or by colour and racks are so overfilled you have to squeeze each one out. They do have a good selection and nice dresses.

Please read the owners responses to negative reviews. You WILL understand everything that needs to be understood.

I picked my dress today with Vania.
I recently moved to the country from the UK and I have no family here, I was nervous to pick a dress alone, no bridesmaids with me or my mum. Vania picked perfectly for me, she really listened to details I loved and selected for my shape and style. It’s such a special moment when you find the one and having no one with me, I thought was going to be hard, but Vania and the team truly made me feel beautiful! I’m so grateful. They even helped me with my alteration vision and made it exactly ME. Vania even called my mum and took her on a tour around the dress so she was involved, and once we picked we all toasted champagne with my mum involved too. It was so lovely.

I found my dream dress with Vania. She was patient and helpful in trying different styles until I found the perfect style paired up with a bridal skirt. She made the experience fun, got me a said yes to the dress sign and apple juice toast glasses (religion appropriate 😉). Expensive for terrible quality. My mom got her mother-of-the-bride dress here and once it arrived, there were so many things we had to fix ourselves: loose threads, buttons falling off, poor seaming, etc.

I went in 2023, so it’s been a while. I am still upset about the experience. The seller was very rude, impatient and put pressure on me. She was mad because I wasn’t sure what I wanted, it was my first time dress shopping for prom and she didn’t like that her store was the first I went to and she had to help me. She said she was going to hang me if I didn’t buy a dress. She also said I looked like a corpse in one of the dresses. I ended up buying a dress I didn’t like much because she kept pressuring me into buying something at her store. She also didn’t want me to take pictures, so I couldn’t take any pictures of the dresses I tried on. She said it was because we could steal the design, but most of the dresses that were there could be found almost everywhere so I didn’t really understand. I would not recommend, however, maybe the seller was the problem and I don’t know if she’s still there.

As soon as we entered the store, Violet took care of us and she took the time to check my friend's preferences. She pulled out a bunch of choices in her size and desired colours, which were all very flattering to my friend. Shortly after, she said yes to the dress and was offered an amazing price.
I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a wedding dress. You will have a vip treatment ✨️✨️✨️❤️

The two woman were wonderful in helping us. My daughter was overwhelmed with the choices. They had her pick one dress she liked and then they knew what style she wanted. They pulled 5 dresses and we found the one. They took the time to show us 2 ways it could be tied in the back. It was like shopping with my grandma. They were amazing. We will definitely be back.

One of the employees, an older woman, made a comment about not carrying my friend and I’s sizes—we are both a size 10-12. She also made a comment about the draping of one of the dresses hiding “extra meat”. Incredibly rude staff and quality of dresses was very poor.

Searched for prom dresses as we were helping a friend. So many options in all different price ranges! Definitely need to check out if you’re in the market for a formal / prom dress. Similarly for mother of the bride/groom dresses or guests of formal weddings.

Service is great as well! We purchased a few dresses and they packaged them and held for us while we finished shopping in the plaza!

Not nice. The employe didn’t even bother talking to my friend and I. She ignored us and only served other clients. The dresses feel cheap and are way overprices. Overall, not a good experience. I recommend going to Bellissimo which has an amazing service and pretty dresses. Its just a few meters away.

I highly suggest not wasting any time going here. I came in, they didn't even bother asking when my wedding was just immediately told me they don't order because it takes long. You can't tell me it takes 2 years to order a dress or even 1 year.
However... they didn't help at all. Didn't ask for styles, preferences etc. So I believe they just don't want to order. They were no help in grabbing dresses. VERY LAZY SERVICE.They have maybe 40 dresses and that's it and don't really do alterations. Go elsewhere for a better experience.

I can't even begin to explain what an amazing experience that I have received with the staff at Ever After Bridal. It has been over a year now and the big day is coming. They have been with me every step of the way. I purchased both my wedding and evening gown from them and all my bridesmaids bought a dress from them as well. Service has never been received with anything less than a smile EVERY single time. I was welcomed into their store from day one and they definitely made an imprint on my wedding dress shopping experience. I have also recommended them to a lady on the Calgary Wedding Buy and Sell Page on Facebook and she has also came back to me with nothing but positive feedback and 2 bridesmaid dresses! If you are looking for a very personal and honest opinioned experience, then this place is for you! Thank you once again Ever After Bridal for such an amazing experience!

I purchased a bridesmaids dress from Ever After for my friend's wedding. We had a long day looking at dresses and we were ready to find something.

Their selection was really good, very comparable to bridesmaid dresses at some of the larger "swankier" places in town. Same name brands with better pricing (less markup). We were happy we found a dress the bride liked finally!

The salon said the dresses would take about 3 months to arrive, and it was just about 3 months on the nose, even though the wedding was close to 9 months away there was no delay in ordering or shipment. We had to ship a dress to Ontario for another bridesmaid, and they even found a box, wrapped it up and taped it shut for us to ship!

Fast forward to a few months before the wedding, I called them up to schedule alterations. The seamstress is so sweet and had me in and out of there in a jiffy. Alterations only cost me $50 and only took a week! Amazing job all around, I would reccomend!

Went in for my bridal gown and tried on so many. She was very helpful she made my experience a great one. She would watch make facial expressions and when I tried on all the dresses. Found one that day bought and took home. Not expensive at all compared to same dress at another store.

Great experience! I was buying off the rack for a last minute event. After going to david's bridal and experiencing the low quality dresses and poor service, this place was amazing. She was pinning each dress I tried on and getting sizes and being very helpful. I picked a dress 15 minutes before close on Thursday and they had it altered perfectly by the time I picked it up at 1 pm the next day. Very good experience, would recommend.

Worse experience I’ve ever had. The saleslady was very rude to me and my friend. She screamed at us and very aggressive. She was screaming even they have other customers. What they want it’s just money even though the dress is not good for you they will tell you it’s good. The price was very expensive for the dress/gown they sells. No professionalism and no respect. I spoked to them very nice, if I can just échange the gown but they did not accept. They did not explain to me that there is no exchange and return. It’s not even on the receipt. And the sales lady took my receipt today and went in front to put a stamp on the receipt ( final sale ). Why did she even do that? Which is they did not put at the first place and explain it to me. I don’t recommended this place just go to other place to buy a dress/gown. I will just pray for them.

August 20, 2023 - We visiting Miradore Couture to look at some Bridal and bridesmaid dresses. The service was AMAZING, funny, patient, understanding, comprehensive, no judgement. Honestly, please make sure to go and visit them. We found everything we were looking for to a very reasonable price!

Great service ever!!! First store I visited for my wedding dress and Im soo thankful I did. The staffs are wonderful, helpful,lovely, and caring. They listened to everything I wanted, and made me feel confident in my new dresss. I HIGHLY recommend Miradore Couture to any future bride. So grateful to be there.

I went there without an appointment to try wedding gowns. The consultant took her time to show me the dresses. She was very patient and caring. I didn't end up buying a dress but I really appreciated their time and kindness.

I was shopping for a dress for my daughter’s wedding. It was a black-and-white theme and all guest, including the bridal party had to wear black. So I had some limitations. I visited a few bridal stores in the city and narrowed my choices down to a few dresses, but decided to try one more store, Diva Bridal Boutique. Jasmine was extremely helpful and very friendly and helped me select the perfect dress. I was incredibly happy with my selection and only had to do minor alterations, which was done by a friend. While my daughter definitely stole the show at the wedding, I was undoubtedly the runner up. In this case, as the mother of the bride, I don’t mind my daughter outdoing me, but I got rave reviews from a lot of people, and I liked what I saw in the mirror. I am ever so grateful to Jasmine for her kindness and attention to detail. My daughter and I took to her pleasant personality right away and she has been professional throughout our interactions. I would highly recommend Diva for your bridal needs.

Jasmine was great right from the beginning. Didn't pressure me into buying and didn't discourage me from trying different styles. Some I didn't even dream that I could pull off. We fell in love with this dress the moment we tried it. I never thought that I would be able to get a gorgeous dress like this one if I had not tried it in their store.

Being a plus mother of the bride it was extremely hard to try on dresses in most bridal stores because they only carry small sizes to try on and very limited on what they have available for a plus women to in vision what it will look like on. If stores do have any plus size dresses they are the standard box, straight cut with a jacket nothing exciting. So nice to know that Diva has a variety of different styles and plus fit sizes to try. Hopefully they keep plus size dresses in store for women like me to try.
I definitely will recommend Jasmine to anyone looking for an elegant dress no matter what occasion, no matter what size they are.
Dress arrived earlier than promised which was great.
They also have different price ranges depending on your budget.

You are in good hands if Jasmine takes care of you. I couldn't give the boutique five stars because I found that the other staff were not very good. The woman was not helpful and told me something looked good on me when it was clear that it didn't . Jasmine was great. I really like the dress I chose to wear to the formal wedding. Jasmine suggested different ways to wear the dress. She was helpful and very friendly. AND I was REALLY impressed when I received an email following up to ask how the event was (with details that I had provided two months prior). Now that is great customer service!

Jasmine at Diva was amazing. I came in less than 1 month before my wedding, looking for a dress and found the perfect gown off the rack. Small problem? it was about 1.5 inches too small in the waist. The alterations were done extremely quickly and professionally (although it was quite a bit more expensive than I had anticipated, at $350 to let out the dress on both sides by 3/4 inch with no extra beading added, and to add 2 strings to french bustle - if time permits, ask around) and the experience with Jasmine (store manager? owner? I'm not sure) was amazing. She made me feel gorgeous, she took the time to explain what would happen, and she squeezed me in despite my crazy short time limit. I would 100% recommend this store, and don't be shy to ask to look through the off the rack options. Super!

Although such a positive experience at the time 9 months ago, now when it comes to trying to REACH THESE PEOPLE it's a nightmare! We are trying to get the dress that was paid for in full, and stored by them for later pick up. No phone. Nobody at the shop. Says they're open Saturday - nobody there. Says they're open Monday. No answer. I've tried email now, waiting to see if anything happens. We have a totally panicking bride who cannot get her dress!! DON'T STORE YOUR GOWN IF YOU SHOP HERE.

The best experience! I found my dream dress after trying on two. Great staff & provided great services. They have a large variety in styles. I love my wedding dress

I was looking for a dress for an important event so I went to this store. When I wanted to ask for information on one of the dresses the employee looked at me very disrespectfully from head to toe and asked me if I had enough money to buy it because it was very “expensive”. She didn't even want to show it to me, a great lack of professionalism and respect.
