My partner and I had an amazing experience staying at this place in the beginning of September. The suites were very beautiful and clean like in the pictures. The area is great, too - downtown, tons of cafes and restaurants, and the overall vibe is great. Definitely would recommend and come here again!

I had a terrific experience staying here in November 2018. The apartment was immaculate and perfectly equipped. The location, square in the heart of Kensington Market, was great--very convenient for U of T, where I spent the week, but also for the rest of the city. Highly recommended--with much enthusiasm and gratitude for the owners' hospitality.

We visited in September last year. Special thanks to Petra and Daniel for making our stay in Montreal a very warm and lovely one. Our room was spacious, clean and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable time. Breakfast was lovely done by Daniel who is very creative! Petra was great in communications and very helpful in guiding us of places around the city.
The bnb is conveniently located in the old historic center of Montreal and tucked away in a quiet, safe and walkable neighborhood - just a short walk away from everywhere.
Daniel and Petra were always fun to catch for a conversation.
Daniel, if you're reading this, remember: Djokovic is the goat!!

It was a pleasure to stay at Daniel and Petra's. Their rooms are in a quiet district, not far from the "Plateau du Mont Royal".
Petra gives excellent advices about the city. And Daniel cooks great breakfast. Both were very attentive to making our trip as best as possible.
I would definitely recommend staying at their B&B.

The hosts were really great and the breakfast was awesome. Especially the crepes.
The price was affordable, the room was comfy and clean.

Petra and Daniel are amazing and friendly hosts! Petra spent a ton of time with us going over the minutiae of how to get around the city, what highlights we had to see, and giving us restaurant recommendations. Daniel is an inventive chef and came up with delicious hot breakfasts every morning. We stayed 4 nights and he didn't repeat a meal once! They also chat with their guests over breakfast and really make you feel at home. The rooms are clean and bed is comfortable. Our bathroom didn't have a wall attachment for the shower head, so...we sat for our showers! It was a little weird at first (I'm used to a stand-up shower) but honestly after a whole day of walking around the city, sitting for a shower was a welcome change!

They are ideally located too, in a quiet and safe area, and they're close to the bus stop and train station. There's also a cute little street nearby with restaurants and shops. It's relatively easy to get around town with just public transportation alone. We were lucky enough to find free street parking, so we left our car there for our whole visit and relied just on buses/trains/walking and saw pretty much everything we wanted to see. Will definitely be staying here again, assuming they're not already all booked up next time we visit!

GREAT MONTREAL B&B
The two of us were favoured with the hospitality of Daniel, Petra and Monsieur Petit for four days in July this year. The Julliard Suite was wonderful, parking was most appreciated, and the location near active streets and attractions was very desirable. This B&B is very clean, very well appointed, and has hosts that become friends in very little time! And the food… oh the food.. a different breakfast every day, discussed with us the night before, and tailored to our diet and our wishes. We have recommended A La Carte enthusiastically to our friends, and we will definitely stay there again on our next visit to beautiful Montreal.

Our stay was very enjoyable. The room was extremely clean and cozy. The breakfast offered to us was delicious! Oscar is a an attentive and gracious host who went above and beyond to meet our needs. He made us feel comfortable and welcomed. We enjoyed listening to him playing piano during our breakfast as well as our conversations. My husband, my daughter and I would highly recommend this B&B for a delightful and comfortable stay!

This B&B was a highlight of our trip to Ottawa. The breakfast was amazing and the jazz that the host played was so beautiful. The location is ideal and the room is comfortable with a nice balcony and everything we needed for a good nights rest after our Green Day concert. The shower also has really good water pressure. We enjoyed chatting with the other guests and hosts at breakfast before heading out. We’ll definitely be returning next time we’re in Ottawa.

I had an absolutely lovely stay at Bella Notte. I appreciated it was on a quiet street, but a walkable distance to the Bayward Market and other attractions

I stayed in the Sleeping Beauty room, which has a beautiful balcony overlooking the street, and a glimpse of the parliament tour. Having the screen door open at night allows for the perfect cool breeze, and the table and chairs on the balcony made for a beautiful spot to eat dinner.

There is free overnight parking on the street, but as I was staying a few days I parked at loblaws a few blocks away ($35 for three days). As I am not used to city traffic, I walked or Ubered. Being located downtown, Ubers were very inexpensive ($5 - $10)

Oscar and Lillianne graciously invited me into their home, which was stunningly clean (cleaner than hotels!) and the bathroom for the Sleeping Beauty room was huge, with a full bathtub and amenities like a hair dryer and make-up remover.

Each morning I woke up to the smell of fresh baked pastries (croissants or muffins), and was greeted with a stunningly set table. Breakfast had plenty of options from pastries, fruit salad, yogurt, jams, and eggs. Each morning while dinning, Oscar serenades you with his piano playing, adding the loveliest ambience to the meal.

I appreciate their flexibility in allowing me to choose my breakfast time the day before, so I could choose if I wanted to sleep in, or have an early morning before heading out to explore the city. As well, with the set-up of the house, I felt comfortable coming home late in the evenings without waking them.

The price for the stay aligned with hotels in the area, and I doubt you would find such amazing and personal service and delicious food at a hotel.

I very much enjoyed my stay, and look forward to visiting again the next time I am in Ottawa!

I loved my stay at Bella Notte. Lillian and Oscar are amazing music artists and hosts! I felt I was visiting soul friends! I stayed in the Swan Room - clean, spacious, so comfortable. Near the Byward Market! The whole house is inspiring- heritage with artful decor, vintage and gorgeous plants. Wholesome breakfast; and a real treat with Oscar playing beautifully on the baby grand piano. Deep conversations like old friends. I can’t wait to visit again. Thank you for making my stay so special while I brought my son to residency at Carleton University. I fully recommend Bella Notte.🏡🦋🙂

We decided to stay at Byward B&B because it was very close to the American Consulate (our primary reason for visiting Ottawa). I was a little disappointed initially as the room was much smaller than I imagined looking at the pictures. But it was very cozy and cute and the mattress and pillows we slept on were amazing. We were greeted by Wendy the next morning and she fed us a simple yet nutritious and tasty breakfast. She is a wonderful host and we loved chatting to her. She made us feel at home and generously let us check out late.

The location of the B&B couldn't have been better. Byward Market with all the wonderful restaurants was less than 5 minutes walk, The museum, church and parliament hill are all at a very close walking distance. I am very happy I chose Byward B&B and would highly recommend it.

Stayed here with my family for a couple days. It was very nice! Clean, well stocked with supplies, and had a very nice modern..art deco feel to it? I don't know, but it was cool in there. I would recommend staying here! Great location too, a very short walk to all that Ottawa has to offer!

Wendy, our host, was gracious and considerate. Her house is modern and functional and was within walking distance to everything we needed. I'd stay here again in a flash!

What a lovely restful place to stay. Ron & Mardy looked after us like we were Royalty.

A lovely house in the city, but with the feel of not being in the city. The B&B is located on a quiet street filled with the songs of birds and well maintained properties. It is a couple minute walk to Wychwood barns where a market is held each Saturday. It is a short walk to restaurants and a short drive to parks or downtown Toronto. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the breakfast is delicious. Free parking right on the street. The host our friendly and helpful.

Dave and Brenda’s home is a home away from home. We had an unexpected trip to Calgary due to my sisters health problems and they accommodated my mom and I do stay while she was in the hospital. Brenda and Dave’s guest house offered us an affordable option to stay in the city, especially during stampede week the prices of hotels were astronomical. They were friendly, kind, and offered a comfortable hospitality you won’t find at any other hotel or accommodation. They also offer a nice service of driving to and from the hospital which is great if you don’t have a vehicle or are uncomfortable driving in the big city. Their guest house allowed us to have one less thing to worry about while my sister was recovering. Overall this was a 5 star experience for both mom and I and we would definitely recommend it to anyone with loved ones at the hospital.

The Frames family are wonderful people who open their home to you during your time in need. They are very accommodating and really go out of their way to make you feel at home. Their home is very clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend staying with them in the future. Location is good as well. Close to restaurants and major roads in Calgary. The neighborhood is mature, beautiful and quiet.

The perfect refuge for out-of-towners who need to be with family members in NW Calgary hospitals. In May we needed to drive from the Edmonton area to rural southern Alberta to pick up family and then travel north to Calgary to be with our father/father-in-law who had major surgery scheduled at the Foothills Hospital.

We needed somewhere in Calgary for an extended stay — a comfortable place for downtime after days spent at the hospital. It's incredible that this place exists and that Brenda and Dave Frame continually open their own home for exactly this purpose and so generously support all their guests. The cost is very reasonable and their support to all they welcome, is priceless. The guesthouse is very close to Foothills hospital. We needed two bedrooms at first, and later on, just one for our mom mother/in-law when we needed to return home. We knew she would be well taken care of. She had someone to talk to at the end of a stressful day, and someone to take her to the hospital and back. A wonderful hot, made-to-order breakfast was enjoyed at the Frames' very own kitchen table. The bedrooms, dedicated guest bathroom and kitchen are all very clean and well-appointed with lots of comfort items.There is plenty of room to park a vehicle off the street. A good-sized half-fridge in the house is reserved for guests to store what they need. Companionship and even a guided walk around the Dalhousie neighborhood was very much appreciated. We were very fortunate to get to know such good people in the time we had there. Highly recommend to any out-of-town adult family members who need to be close to NW hospitals in Calgary, especially if you are unfamiliar or uncomfortable driving in the city and have to find your way in and out of the large hospital complexes. Brenda and Dave know how to provide a calming environment. We are so grateful to them.

Dave & Brenda are very hospitable and gracious people, to open up their house to a newly discharged transplanted patient. We had access to the whole house yet were able to have the privacy we needed to focus on my husbands healing. That being said, the breakfasts were amazing quality, and served when you needed it. I truly believe this wholesome food aided in the recovery of my husband. It was clean and tidy, and we even had a place to store our own food. They also provide a shuttle service to and from the hospital, if you need to have follow ups.The neighbourhood is quiet, and we highly recommend this place, as it checked all the boxes.

Perfect, stress free experience, comfortable home setting, and a breakfast of your choice. If you're older, or not familiar with Calgary, or not wanting to drive in the winter, and already anxious about an upcoming hospitalization, the Frames will drive you to and from Foothills Hospital every day. It's the most accommodating B n B experience I've ever had.

I stayed here from September to February and had a wonderful experience. The house is very quiet and Erick, the host, is extremely kind, helpful, and attentive to any needs. My room was perfect, clean, well equipped with all the utensils , a small desk in the room, and. The bathroom had a hairdryer which was very convenient. The location is also excellent with easy access to the streetcar just one minute from the house, making it simple to get downtown. Definitely I recommend it !!! Very close from downtown

André said he wanted to treat me like a Queen and that is the exact treatment I received! I had some dietary restrictions and André met and exceeded my expectations. I liked walking nearby and taking the bus to the Metro. Merci beaucouo for making my stay très comfortable!

I think you can see the most beautiful mountains from here! 27th floor - the view is mesmerizing!🤩 gorgeous apartments, it's always very clean and luxurious! it's an unforgettable vacation!🥰

My family and I were in town for some work and fun. We were originally booked downtown but wanted to stay somewhere more local with great food choices and found Sonder, and happy we did. They were very accommodating to a flexible check in/ check out time to work with a babies nap schedule. They also provided a travel crib and high chair. Very quick communication. The 1 king suite was well stocked with everything we needed. Happy to be able to get Marriot points while also having our own apartment. Will definitely be staying in a Sonder next time we travel and they are there. Thanks for everything!

Please note: There is an elevator, but you do have to go up 10 or so steps to get to it.

We vacationed here last spring - a luxurious place and so many blooming lilacs! in the yard barbecue area, playground, sun loungers - everything you need for a good vacation as a family, and a fun company.

Another great girls getaway. This is the 4th time staying here and I am always amazed at the work and improvements made each year. The rooms and decorating are all very unique and the pool area is spectacular. We enjoyed a delicious turkey dinner. The hosts Gary & Julie truly go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. Look forward to continued visits.

Had an amazing time at the Old Mill Manor, comfortable accommodations for our family reunion of 12 adults. Several lovely lounge areas and a great pool. Gary and Julie were wonderful hosts and I would highly recommend to others!

To say we had the best time at the Old Mill Manor would be an understatement. This was our second time staying there with our whole extended family. It is the perfect place to come together and create lasting memories! We will definitely be back!

I wish I could have brought the king size bed home with me. Haven't slept so well in a long time. Everything was so perfect from the greeting picture to the well equipped kitchen, to large dining room that was able to seat our large group. The pool , WOW!
