We are returning from a family trip to Switzerland. Everything had been perfectly planned by Ioannis and George. The hotels were all very well located. All the train tickets were bought and deposited in their travel app. They even organized a helicopter transfer for us which was more than magnificent and memorable. They also gave us lists of restaurants for each city. We always have peace of mind when our trip is organized by them. They have all the good contacts. The trip they organized for us was a beautiful mix between lakes, mountains, small and big cities. They really are Creators of Moments.

We can’t thank George and Alexandrou Travel Agency enough for planning such an unforgettable honeymoon in Sicily for us! The hotels he selected and recommended were absolutely incredible, and we were pleasantly surprised with free upgrades at multiple locations thanks to his connections. The views from these resorts were nothing short of breathtaking. We also appreciated the thoughtful note and the little treats left in our rooms from the Alexandrou team to commemorate this special trip—these personal touches truly brightened our days. If you’re looking for a seamless and memorable travel experience, we highly recommend George and his team!

We have never had a more stress free vacation! It was full of lovely surprises and suggestions of places we would never known about. Every moment was a delight. I have food issues and dinner reservations were made for me in advance by Alexandrou which really made it special. We will use them again and again. If they only had a cure for jet lag, they would be perfect!

George and Ioannis planned our dream trip to Greece and it exceeded our expectations! They were so easy to work with, listened to our needs and were so responsive and helpful with our questions. The hotels they chose were exceptional, we really enjoyed our tours, and all of the transportation and logistics were seamless. We also loved the personal touches that greeted us in our rooms upon arrival. They made the whole process stress free and we will cannot recommend them enough!

I have been dealing with George and Ioannis for many years. These guys are unique in that they truly go out of their way to organize every details of our trips. They have an extensive network of local connections-wherever you may go- which ensures that you always have the best tables, the better time slots for private guided tours etc. Most importantly, the word impossible is banned from their vocabulary, so you will never hear it. We recently had a beautiful wedding in Dominican Republic this past April. It was a fabulous all-inclusive and an even better week. This would not have been possible without our wedding specialist, Sheila Barry.

If an upcoming wedding itself isn’t stressful enough, wait until you search for a solid wedding specialist and trip coordinator. We had appointments with a dozen all-inclusive wedding “specialists” but nothing was working out. We were becoming very discouraged, and heading into the big day and big trip discouraged is not good. We also had the added pressure of finding the perfect place to accommodate our very unique group of friends and family who were making the trip down with us. Prices were coming back high, the resorts were not what we were looking for and the coordination of the dates as well as guests flying out of three different areas (Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax) were a disaster. The biggest issue was the customer service from the agents we met with was very poor. This was until we had a wonderful meeting and shared a coffee/chat with Sheila. Immediately following our first meetup we knew she was the one.

We met, discussed exactly what and when we wanted as well as details on the type of resort for the type of group we had going down. Sheila attentively listened, took notes and also provided helpful feedback and tips on the spot. The first meeting was completely free and felt more like we were meeting with a friend to talk about our wedding over a coffee. This was our biggest take away, she was down to earth and it didn’t seem business as usual, but more like a person very interested in helping us find the best option possible.

Within 3-4 hours after our first meeting we had an e mail from Sheila with about 8 resorts, all resorts we mentioned with prices and dates. The fact that she was so quick was a good sign, but the better sign was that she was going to go above and beyond. She told us that if we don’t mind, she’s going to do a search on her own of some spots she thought would be perfect for us. She did just that, the very next day she had a few more resorts emailed to us with prices and dates. She said to take a look but don’t make a decision quite yet, she was going to do some more digging. She did that until she found the absolute perfect spot, it was well under our budget as well as our guests budget, it was the exact dates we wanted, a new area for us (Dominican, and we’ll be going back J) and the flights she found for us going from all three locations were great, well not great they were perfect.

Now the date and location was set. The next steps were very easy, easy payment plans, easy coordination with the resort and Sheila would meet with us every so often for any minor updates and suggested plans/perks the resort offered. She also calmed me down about the possibility of bad weather and that’s the one thing we could not control but in the end it wouldn’t matter, we were going to have a great time either way. It didn’t matter, the weather was wonderful to go along with the trip. A few weeks before the wedding, everyone was sent an itinerary and a “how to” and “what to expect” type package from Sheila that really helped. Things went so smoothly, we could not believe it. The flight, the resort, the wedding coordinator at the resort, our rooms, all our guests’ needs and of course the big day. It was a 10/10.

When we returned to Calgary, we met with Sheila again. She was excited to hear how well the trip went and we now have some vouchers through her as well that will save on our next trip. We’ll be booking through her again, we also consider her a friend.

We have been booking our Club Med vacations with Natalie since 2017 and it has always been the best experience! We just got back from our third family trip to Cancun Club Med and this time we wanted to have a slightly new experience. Dream Trip to Tahiti - French Polynesia

From the moment we contacted the Downunder Travel Agency in Calgary we were not disappointed.

We were immediately put at ease as they arranged our most wonderful Vacation to Tahiti for us.

Downunder Travel looked after all our needs from Travel Insurance, airline travel, a 7 day ‘Paul Gaugin Cruise’ through the Society Islands, all transfers and land pre and post stay in Moorea and Bora Bora. All excursions were booked by them as well for our convenience.

If we had any questions regarding anything our emails or calls were very promptly replied at the up most professionalism. When Cathleen our travel agent was away Jason promptly filled in.

On one occasion our travel agent Cathleen whom we cannot stress enough how wonderful she was went into work one early long weekend morning on her day off just to get us a upgraded to a balcony room on the ship that she had to call in for as there was only one suite left. She went above and beyond to make this happen.

Everything about our trip was beyond amazing from, air, land and sea and all paper work required for being a guest in Tahiti. and her gorgeous islands.

We extended our stay with land pre and post at a small intimate resort recommended by Cathleen which did not disappoint. In Bora Bora we stayed in an Over the Water bungalow, it was breathtaking from feeding the tropical fish to snorkelling. The Moorea pre was equally amazing.

Food and accommodations were stellar.

Best experience I had travelling to Cuba was with Level 21 and Jovier! I was recommended a private tour to Havana on my stay in Varadero and it was life changing!! I've booked travel with Georgia and her team previously, and have never been disappointed. This trip continued that trend for sure! This time we ventured to Lightwater Cove Resort on Salt Spring Island BC and had an amazing and exceptionally relaxing three night stay there! Discovering and enjoying hidden gems like this is what travelling is all about!

This wasn't my first time booking a trip with Georgia, and as always, it was an absolute breeze. I really enjoyed talking through different destination options.

After some thought, we landed on Samara in Costa Rica, which ended up being the perfect choice. Samara was not too busy, very friendly, and had everything a couple traveling to the Caribbean would want.

Having a car in the Guanacaste region is highly recommended, and it was my first time renting a car and driving in another country, so I appreciated Georgia's advice and insight around that. Having a car made it much easier for us to plan some activities outside of Samara.

Georgia recommended a cooking class in Nosara on a small local farm (an hour North of our hotel, through some rougher roads, 4x4 car rental recommended). It ended up being a private cooking class, where we prepared chicken empanadas, ceviche, and fried plantain served with a few different blended dips. The meal was one of the best we had all week. We made a day of it in Nosara, spending the afternoon at Playa Pelada (huge waves!), sunset cocktails at Lagarta Lodge, followed by an incredible steak dinner at La Brasa.

The Montelaguna Boutique Hotel was a two hour drive from Liberia airport. Smooth roads, and easy enough. Upon arrival, we checked in without a problem. Georgia had helped communicate that we'd be checking in a day late due to a cancelled flight. There were no issues at the front desk, and we were shown to a comfortable king suite with high ceilings, powerful AC, and a lovely view of the pool. Some of the rooms walked out to the pool, which could either be a huge convenience, or maybe a bit loud depending on the guests staying at the hotel. We liked the privacy of our room on the second floor.

Overall, our time in Samara was perfect. Even with our trip cut a day short due to the cancelled flight, the week was exactly what we needed. Plenty of time in the sun, relatively quiet beaches, no stress, lots of great food, friendly locals and tourists. Samara in Costa Rica is the kind of destination where you really can't complain. I could see myself going back year after year. Look forward to booking with Georgia again!

I booked accommodation and an experience in Toronto, ON through MRG Travel and I couldn't have asked for a better experience for my first time booking a trip with a travel agency!! Mexico city is an incredible city, there is so much art and culture to see. At el Bazaar del Sabado you can find countless artists, bands playing live music, and a wide variety of traditional cuisine. Corona Music Festival this year had an incredible line up, and I am so grateful I got to see world renowned bands in a festival. If you are looking for a place full of life and color, I recommend Mexico City as your next destination.

This review is long overdue. Alain planned the trip of a LIFETIME for our family in the summer of 2023. We were fortunate to be able to get away for four weeks to split between visiting family and touring Italy. Alain took care of our flights, our accomodations, our tours, and provided us with additional information for the regions we were visiting. We spent time with family at our home base and ventured off to destinations such as Sorrento, a beach resort in Salerno, a private boat tour in the Amalfi coast and a golf cart tour of Rome. We were fortunate enough to meet Kelli at a wedding show little did we know she’d go on to create the greatest trip of our lives. We’ve ( by “we” I really mean “I” but my now wife indulged me lol ) always wanted to go to Bali.

Never did I think I needed a travel agent until I started talking to Jaclyn!
I hadn’t been on a all inclusive trip in YEARS and traveling alone with my 7-year-old had me nervous. I had one goal (make it fun for my son!) and a budget.
