Our team at Ginga Technology Solutions had an unforgettable time at BATL Grounds for our recent team-building event! From the moment we walked in, the staff were welcoming, energetic, and clearly passionate about what they do. The atmosphere was fun and laid-back, yet safe and well-organized.

We had an absolute blast learning how to throw axes and knives — something totally out of the ordinary and super engaging for everyone, regardless of skill level. The coaches were fantastic, giving great tips and keeping the energy high with some friendly competition. It was the perfect mix of team bonding and just pure fun.

Hubby, kids and I went there to enjoy some family time and BATL Ground did not disappoint!
Our coach, Abby, showed us the ropes, took us through a few practice rounds and off we were.
We had a lot more fun than we thought we would daring and challenging each other. Axe throwing is a unique and enjoyable way for families to spend time together.

First time going and won't be my last! We signed up for the VIP experience and Jason was an amazing coach. Loved that he would coach us along the way and give us tips and tricks to improve our throws. All the staff was super friendly. The bathrooms were clean and well kept. My only critique is that the long table behind the lines was quite sticky. So that would be the only thing that would need to be addressed.

Lucas was an amazing coach! We had the best time at BATL Ottawa and will definitely be back! He really helped us figure out the games and master our craft! Would definitely recommend! 🪓🏹🎯

Staying at Dreams Curacao Resort Spa and Casino was a great option for a family vacation! We would recommend Curacao to all families who are looking for an authentic island carefree experience, filled with beautiful, colorful memories, rich historical culture and a safe island to explore. The beach was beautiful and the water was crystal clear. I highly recommend a snorkeling boat tour with Irie tours. Irie tours will give you a most authentic snorkel tour experience in Curacao! The food on the resort was decent. The staff was exceptional and went out of their way to make our stay wonderful.

I recently booked a Cancun package for 10 passengers with JK Travels, and the entire experience was outstanding! Hannah went above and beyond planning our wedding this August at Azuridge in Priddis. From the very beginning, she was completely dedicated to making every single wish of mine come true. She literally brought my Pinterest board to life in the most beautiful way. As someone in the events industry, I initially thought planning my wedding would be a breeze. However, as we delved deeper into the process, juggling work, personal life, and wedding details became overwhelming. We had a wonderful experience working with Hannah! Living outside of the country this was a destination wedding that Hannah was able to lead the charge on while we were out of pocket. She really shined with all of our decor. She found the rental company for us to work with and pieced together our entire vision. She created and printed signage for us and made our vision become a reality. When our wedding day came we couldn’t believe it all went off without a hitch ! Was it worth the 7 hour flight from Edinburgh to visit this modern day wonder of the world? What a stupid question of course it was!

I’ve been blessed to witness the majesty of Rodney The Tree and The Great Wall of Deerness in 2025. Now we just need 5 more equally magnificent sights to complete the modern day wonders of the world.

Finally made the pilgrimage to see Rodney. That little name plaque sign? Giving main character energy. The landscaping? Serving curb appeal. The vibe? Grounded and deeply rooted. He may be a young tree, but I can see why he's already branching out one heart-shaped leaf at a time as Toronto’s freshest attraction.

10/10 would photosynthesize with him again.

Rodney is truly one of Toronto's hidden gems. He is in such a good location just steps away from trinity bellwoods. Looks like he also went through some renovations recently with a newly planted perimeter. Was quite busy over the sunny weekend so maybe try a cloudy weekday instead. 10/10 will definitely be returning

I didnt know what to expect before my pilgrimage to rodney. Would it be just a tree, like all the others? I have been hurt before so I was guarded to say the least.

But the day finally came, it was my turn to approach and he really branched out for me. Going out on a limb for someone he had never met before really shows how rooted Rodney is in the community.

We had an amazing trip to the Galápagos Islands! Tracy was incredibly organized and professional. We joined the 5 days tour to Banff and Jasper. Its absolutely an amazing trip. Our tour guide Austin/Simon and driver Mary/Mr ? were absolutely incredible! They are helpful, patient, friendly, and professional, making our trip even more enjoyable. Overall we enjoy very much the tour though there is some unhappy incident with the hotel arrangement in 3rd night

We joined Westar Travel’s tour to Sulphur Mountain and Johnston Canyon, and it was fantastic! Our guide Michael made the whole trip unforgettable. He was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating facts and stories about the area, but also warm, funny, and super attentive to everyone’s needs. Michael went out of his way to make sure we felt safe, comfortable, and had plenty of great photos to remember the trip.

4 day's trip at Alberta.
Our guide for the Jasper National Park portion was Patrick Chou, who was very knowledgeable and approachable. He recommended a pizza restaurant in Jasper town that turned out to be excellent.
For the Banff National Park days, our guide was Austin Lin. His clear and pleasant voice made the explanations easy to follow, and he was very detailed and attentive throughout the trip.
We also want to mention Larry, who drove safely, kept to schedule, and was always very helpful.
Both guides were professional and responsible, providing thorough yet easy-to-understand information. The accommodations during the trip were comfortable, and the itinerary was well-organized without feeling rushed.
We had a great time and would definitely recommend this travel company.

I cannot say enough about Amy and the staff at Aisle Travel. My husband was able to join last minute and they worked their butts off and made magic happen to add him in! We went with a large group for a friends wedding in November and they were amazing at constant communication, emails, replies and keeping the guests organized throughout the year leading up to the vacation. If I could give 10/5 stars, I WOULD! I have been working with Amira and her team since early 2021, planning our destination wedding for February 2022. They were fantastic to work with and the entire experience took a ton of stress off us and our party. They were quick to secure us an gorgeous resort for an unbeatable price. Unfortunately, we made the tough decision to cancel our destination wedding after final payment and the airline was not willing to refund any of the guests, which was going to result in everyone being out thousands of dollars... Amira went to bat for us and was able to get our entire party fully refunded! I can't express my gratitude in words for Amira and her team. Although we were not able to have our destination wedding, we are now able to relax, with a huge weight off our shoulders knowing that none of our guests are out of pocket. We were not guests of the hotel but headed out for brunch earlier today. We are looking at Azure ridge as a potential wedding venue. Everyone we interacted with was absolutely lovely. The food, spectacular. I would be remiss if I did not mention the exceptional hospitality and warm welcome that we received from our server Brenda. In keeping with the stone theme of the hotel, she is an absolute diamond.

We attended a wedding at Azuridge Boutique Hotel and it was such a romantic space. Everything about the venue was absolutely beautiful—the architecture, the grounds, and all the little details. The staff were amazing and so attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. Even though the weather was gloomy, the beauty of the venue and all the thoughtful touches made it easy to look past the rain. Truly a stunning place for a special occasion.

We celebrated our wedding at this gorgeous venue last week! The venue was absolutely stunning and well-maintained, the service was amazing, timely, and top-notch, and the rooms were super gorgeous and clean. Julie is a wonderful wedding coordinator who was always respectful of our wishes and worked diligently to ensure that our weekend went perfectly. The concierge workers were amazing at helping us and making sure our day went seamlessly. I highly recommend visiting this gem hidden away in Priddis, and definitely having your wedding here!

This place is truly a hidden gem! My husband and I had the pleasure of visiting in early April for an overnight stay, and it was absolutely wonderful. From the luxurious suite to the delectable food and the stunning hotel grounds, it was the perfect short getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city.

My husband and I just celebrated our anniversary and had the pleasure of staying for one night in the Pearl room. It was absolutely beautiful. The staff, the food and the grounds of this property were incredible and we will definitely stay again!

I think the above two people must have gone to a different travel agency with the same name. I have dealt with Battlefield and Val exclusively for 13 years. Every year since my kids were 2 and 3 I have taken them away for a week in the winter. Due to Val's extensive knowledge of the Caribbean, Mexico, etc. we have never been steered wrong on our winter holiday. Valerie researches the resorts I'm interested in and has more than once suggested an alternative based on Battlefield's customers and agent's feedback. We have loved every vacation we have taken through Battlefield, and are looking forward to another wonderful trip to Jamaica this December. I have found every staff member at Battlefield to be extremely helpful and knowledgeable - able to answer any question I have if Val is not in the office at the time of my phone call. Courteous, professional, personable and honest. I wouldn't trust my beloved week away with anyone else!

Had the best mini vacay here. Beautiful, immaculately clean, private hot tub overlooking forest. You can tell the owners take great pride in ensuring you have a wonderful stay. Also within walking distance to local amenities. We will definitely stay again!

An absolute gem! The room was so cute, fully stocked, clean and very quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was bright and clean. The back deck/yard with the hot tub was an added bonus - the hot tub was 103, clean and set in a peaceful nature backdrop. The staff here are so helpful and friendly - from booking, to arrival and the quick tour, to check-out (and leaving a phone behind).

What a gem of a place to spend a weekend. Wakefield is a lovely town, Lucie is an incredible hostess, and the inn is amazing. The rooms are very clean, beds & pillows are super comfortable, and in spite of 5 rooms being booked, we never heard any noise. The kitchens are well equipped and the Sumatra coffee was delicious. Private hot tubs were the finishing touch to an amazing stay. Will be back!

We had an impeccable stay at Belle de Nuit in the Paris room. The room was extremely clean and well-equipped with all the kitchen needs. Lucie greeted us and was very personable and lovely. She thought of everything one needs to make the stay luxurious. The little things add up like the shoes to use on your way to the hot tub and the little chocolates with your coffee. We will be back hopefully sooner rather than later. Thank you, Lucie!

Rosie is genuinely the loveliest, and she’s an incredibly talented artist. I had my wedding flowers framed and they were so beautiful, and then heartbreaking - the nail we’d hung the frame from fell out of the wall and the frame crashed to the ground. Rosie got me in immediately to repair and entirely remake the frame - which I love even more now! We also ordered some floral ornaments with our wedding flowers as gifts for our family, and they loved them (my grandma cried).

Rosie did an amazing job preserving my wedding bouquet. I am so happy with the final result and the whole process was smooth from the initial booking to final pick-up. Definitely recommend Bouquet & Frame for floral preservation!

Best decision ever!! I absolutely love my pressed bouquet frame, it turned out so wonderful, and I love how vibrant the blues and purples stayed even when dried! Rosie is so amazing, talented and was very accommodating and helpful throughout the whole process. I wanted to make sure the blue orchids in my bouquet were at the front since those are special flowers to my husband and I, and she took that and any other notes into consideration when making it. Also she texts you a mock up after it’s made, to get your thoughts on if you want anything changed or not! Highly recommend!

Had a wonderful stay with Richard and Sandy (the dog) hosting us. This beautiful Victorian property is perfectly appointed with attention to detail. The burgundy room, where we stayed, was spacious and comfortable. In warmer months, I'm sure the deck off of it would be wonderful. The breakfast had everything you might want. The warm buttery croissants were my favourite, but the fruit salad and fruit muffins were a close second. Richard was great to converse with and has a great knowledge of the area. The dog Sandy, is a gentle, loving friend - non-shedding being a bonus. Would definitely book another stay here.

We stayed for 2 nights in February of 2025. The home is beautiful and historic and in a great location. Richard is extremely knowledgeable about Ottawa and the surrounding area. He provided many tips for what to see and do during our visit, which absolutely improved our experience.
Breakfast was both delicious and generous with freshly baked pastries, yogurt, fruit, granola and much more
The location was fantastic for walking to many museums, parliament hill and to the Roseau canal. We also easily drove to Gatineau park.
I highly recommend the Auberge king Edward and hope to return in the summer to see the area in a different season.

There's just so many amazing things about this property. It's a heritage house, with tons of cachet (my bathroom was the maid's bathroom, huge double living room), very well decorated and taken care of. Where the exceptional part comes in is the absolutely stunning garden, the private balcony, the crisp hotel linens, spotlessly clean, the floofiest puppy ever, the great breakfast, the friendly welcome, all the travel books, perfect room temperatures... There's also TV with cable in the room but I got distracted by the travel books. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back if ever I have business in Ottawa!

Our recent trip to Greece was our first and only trip that we took as an entire family - 4 generations of us. The age range of our group of 12 people was 9 months old - 76 years old. Nick managed to somehow perfectly curate a trip that was suitable for every single person on this trip. Not only did he book us the perfect villa, activities, and flights but he also was a super-communicator throughout the entire duration of the trip from take off to landing back at home.

10 out of 10***** We entrusted our dream trip to the Greek Islands with Nick at Mr Travel and loved the whole experience. Nick set up everything including flights, hotels, pick ups at airports and harbour ports and rental cars. We began in Vienna, then flew to Mykonos, then ferry to Santorini and finally Crete. This was May 10-25, 2025 and the weather was excellent. Not too hot and not cold at all. Swimming in the Mediterranean was wonderful.
Nick made sure that everything was nicely upgraded to ensure fantastic views and great hotel staff.
The entire trip was much less expensive than I had anticipated. Nick quoted the whole trip and it was very reasonable. And of course "worry free" everywhere we travelled.

We worked with Nick on planning a family vacation to Greece and we were very happy with what Nick delivered. Every detail was taken care of from Athens, Paros, Santorini and both sides of Crete. The accommodations were amazing, the transfers and shuttle service very convenient, planned activities fun and overall we came away with great memories. What a fantastic experience. The trip was amazing and all the work done for us in advance by Nick! We worried about nothing...we were whisked from airports to ferry ports and hotels with no waiting or fretting. Our North to South Tour of Sardinia in May 2025 was very disappointing. Omega does not organize or accompany this tour. It simply resells this package as part of a longer Sardinia tour handled by an Italian operator. For starters, our final itinerary was not confirmed until just ten days before the tour started, after we were already in Europe. More importantly, while Omega is a Canadian company serving a primarily English-speaking clientele, the company never mentioned that this was a multilingual tour. As a result, fewer than one-third of our group spoke English, and Italian and Spanish were spoken by the tour guide approximately 75% of the time. All in all, an at best mediocre tour that was deceptively marketed.

Oh my! The second we stepped foot onto the property we knew this was our venue. We meet Steve the owner upon arrival of the tour and we booked just over a year and a half to our wedding date.
We had the best experience with everyone we came accross leading right up to the morning after the wedding. We had the best day I could ever dream of. Our family and friends did not have one bad thing to say.
We were so happy with the experience we had, during the wedding our bus did not make the trip back to the hotel and Steve and day of coordinator reassured us there is time we can wait for the group to come in cabs. They suggested another plan but people were already in cabs!
During dinner was amazing ran so smoothly, and food was amazing. All the allergies we had not one problem. I checked in with the ladies who had allergies they said it was amazing.
I could not say one bad thing about the place. Yes the price is a shock at first my dad was like are you sure. But once he saw the place and walked around he understood the price of the wedding. But honestly if you want a small wedding and want a place that may not care go for it. If you want a place that feels like home, rustic but classy, this is your venue😊

Stonefields was absolutely our dream wedding venue. We had seen so many venues before finally finding Stonefields and we were immediately taken by its beauty. But what really won us over was their incredible team. Chef Angela was extremely accommodating to our requests and the steak blew us away! The servers were so sweet to all our guests and even joined us in singing “lean on me” at the end of the night which was so special. The biggest shoutout though has to go to Steve! Everything he did was above and beyond from the first day we met till the day of the wedding. He really does wear multiple hats and is extremely confident and competent in the way he makes sure the day goes perfectly. From organizing the floor plan exactly as I requested, to helping our MC’s with the set up, to making sure no alcoholic drinks were displayed as we requested, to bringing us a small grazing station as we were taking our private pictures, to coordinating our schedule on the day of and moving some tables at the end of the night to make sure we have a dance floor. He truly removed a mental load from us and took over all the minute planning on the day of. He did all of this with a smile and while being incredibly present to our requests. Thank you all so much for making our day magical! I couldn’t recommend Stonefields more if you want a stress free and gorgeoussss wedding day!

On the wedding day itself, they made sure everything ran smoothly and were flexible and quick to adjust the schedule so we could make the most of every moment.

My husband and I got married here early May 2023 and it really was a perfect day. I loved that Stonefields gives you the option of an indoor and outdoor venue in light of Ottawa's tricky weather and both options are just gorgeous. Not a lot of extra decor needed because it was so beautiful to begin with. The grass was green and lush. The staff were responsive and attentive, catering to our needs, quick to respond via email. As the bride I felt so relaxed the day of, the staff making sure I was fed through the day and saving my food when I was busy talking to guests! Our day-of coordinator guided us through every step of the wedding, making sure things were running smoothly and on time. Since we had a dry wedding, the staff were so flexible in removing all alcohol bottles from the bar display. They even let us create our own custom mocktail menu, which was super cute giving each drink a unique name. The food was incredible. We had an awesome bonfire in the evening. We had about 150 people at our wedding and that felt a bit cozy, but it was still really wonderful. A few items of feedback were that some guests didn't get as many hors d'oeuvres when passing them around. Also the coordinator we were chatting with through the planning phase didn't up being our day of coordinator so it took some re-explaining to review the plan of the wedding closer to the date. Ultimately with Stonefields, you're paying for comfort and ease, which is how my husband and I really felt the day of our wedding. It was unforgettable and we thank Stonefields for their wonderful service! Our wedding day really did feel spiritually uplifting and this venue really contributed to that beautiful spirit.

I can only speak about this venue from the perspective of a wedding guest. But let me tell you, the nicest wedding venue I have been to. All aspects and areas of the venue are beautiful, well maintained and well designed.

The food was top notch. The liquor choice was great. All in all I don't have any negatives about this venue.

Vittorio is a great host, provided us with all the necessary information and recommendation about the area surrounding the accommodation, and served us a wonderful breakfast. Thank you for making our stay in Ottawa so enjoyable.

A Perfect Stay!
We had an incredible experience at this bed and breakfast. The place was spotless, cozy, and clearly well cared for. What really made our stay memorable was the host he was warm, welcoming, and truly passionate about what he does.

He personally prepared us breakfast each morning, and it honestly felt like dining at a high-end restaurant. Everything was made from scratch, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. You can tell he puts his heart into every detail.

This was more than just a place to stay, it was an experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and a personal touch!

I really liked this place. However if you are sensitive to sleeping with any light then don’t stay here. (Light comes through transom and curtains.) This place was exceptionally clean. Breakfast was from 8-8:30 (but if discussed ahead the host is accommodating). There wasn’t any choice however the (vegetarian) meals were excellent. The rooms were very pleasant. There was a closet and a small full bathroom as part of the room. (There wasn’t air conditioning and it was a hot week but I was able to keep the windows open at night.) While buses do go on this street, the inn was quiet. Downtown Ottawa was an easy walk.

This B & B is a true gem. Vittorio is a fantastic host, ensuring that guests have all their needs met. Our guest room, #1, was spacious and beautifully decorated, as is the rest of this charming house. The breakfasts were scrumptious, including dishes such as waffles with whipped cream and maple syrup, smoothies with toppings of fresh fruit and frittatas. Coffee, tea and refrigerated bottled water were available throughout the day. If Ottawa is on your travel itinerary, you would throughly enjoy a stay at the Century House.

I booked this room first because acceptable hotels were completely sold out because of an exhibition taking place in ottawa. The room was so comfortable and in a nice location that next time I‘ll come back as first choice to this place. Vittorio was a superb host and made an awesome fresh breakfast. Thank you.
