An unforgettable experience! Princess of Wales Theatre is absolutely stunning—elegant, clean, and perfectly organized. The sound and lighting were flawless, and every seat had a great view. Staff were friendly and helpful from the moment we walked in. Whether it’s a Broadway hit or a local gem, this venue delivers top quality every time. Highly recommend for a night out in Toronto!

Helpful staff, easy to find washrooms/lounge/gift shop. Seat letters and numbers are clearly marked. Washrooms with plenty of stalls and fairly well maintained/clean. Doors open 30 min prior to performance. Have theatre ticket ready to scan when you walk in. Watched the Lion King - amazing performance with outstanding lights/sound/stage props!!

I loved it 30 years ago and I still love it today. The seats are nice, cushioned in comparison to others and I had enough leg room to cross my legs. I have long legs at 5ft8.
The productions are great and immerse you in the experience. Parking is on-site, underground and affordable. The staff are professional, knowledgeable hold themselves high. Makes you feel like you are somewhere fancy, adds to the experience. Drinks, snacks and clean washrooms!

I went to the theater for the lion king. The entry to the theater is below the orchestra level so you do have three rounds of steps to go up to dress circle. The theater is well laid out and attendents kind. I appreciated how they asked people to stop filming during the show (rare but needed). Very attentive. They even bought a booster seat for a child (who somehow ended up getting two seats :))

Very clean and well maintained

At first i was hesitant to watch this stage show but may 2 daughter insist they want to watch this show. Because i was thinking this is a kid show.... after i watched it i know i was wrong fantastic and impressive.
The Lion King is a must-watch if you are in Toronto. Ticket can be bought online or at site. Price is expensive but worth it.the show is really a Masterpiece of perfectly blend of art at music at the very start of the show breathtaking puppetry & costumes Giant elephants parade down the aisle, giraffes and the savanna comes alive with stunning artistry really impressive. Of course the music and the soundtrack make every scene more realistic every performer are great and act professionally even the lighting and shadow props are places perfectly that make every scene a breathtaking impression. GREAT SHOW 👍

Nice little garden. Some flowers look dry probably have suffered from the recent water restrictions in Calgary. The parking lot is small. I liked the benches around the park where you can seat around the flowers. I would totally visit again!

Beautiful serene place nested in the heart of the city. Rocky stones well maintained tracks brings so much joy to walk around. unique Flowers and plants adds to the beautiful park. This park also has lovely views of the downtown calgary skyline

Beautiful to walk through on an early autumn afternoon. Lots of little pathways with stepping stones amongst the trees that feels like a secret garden.

A favourite and quiet spot just south of busy downtown. You can access it from Union Cemetery, and Union Cemetery is accessible from it.

Easily one of the most stunning and peaceful spots to visit in inner city Calgary in the summer time. An absolute must for plant and flower lovers. The space is very scenic and historic, next to a very beautiful and also historic Calgary cemetery. Also convenient being next to the stampede grounds.

The photographer was great and had a good eye for creating a story.
We paused the session a couple of times to watch the butterflies, appreciate some beautiful flowers in bloom and sit when we climbed up hill to get a particular (and well worth it) view.
I liked the movable benches located in some areas, the calming sound of water flowing over rocks and the tiny signs describing either the plants or history of different areas in the park.
I stayed behind after the session to enjoy the park a little more and came across some hikers and a couple that looked to be on a date.

What a beautiful theatre!!!! Went to see the Star Wars movie with the Toronto Symphony and what an amazing experience it was - truly a must go see event.

The performance was absolutely incredible. Toronto's Symphony is second to none and the theatre is absolutely stunning. They have E.T., Home Alone and other productions I'm definitely going to look into going to in the near future!

The facility was clean, welcoming, warm and tidy. Couldn't have asked for more.

First time in attendance! We saw Beck with the symphony and the music and acoustics were the best. The finest sound of my life. Underground parking was easy. The building is spotlessly clean. Facilities are accommodating and staff is welcoming. Only one disappointment is they will not accept cash. Being a farmer that's all I had. Thankfully another patron helped me out and I paid him my cash. Seriously what gives? Other than that I would absolutely see another performance here.

Polite, organized, friendly people to get you tickets and greet you. The hall is intimate, and the acoustics are good. We had a memorable time watching the performances of Mozart's Jupiter by the Toronto Symphony Orchestra.

Impressive is the Modern architectural style's incorporation of a circular footprint and glass curtain wall enclosure, particularly the precast concrete mansard roof, which embodies a minimalist aesthetic. The design respects Erickson's minimalist aesthetic through a thoughtful material palette, featuring acid-etched mirror, grey porcelain tile, white Corian, and white powder-coated metal. A notable feature of the wine bar is a series of pivoting panels crafted from twisted powder-coated vertical aluminum fins.

Accommodating 2,630 guests, the hall features a pipe organ built by celebrated Canadian organ builder Gabriel Kney. This space is thoughtfully designed to enhance the appreciation of orchestras and classical music. The acoustics are flawlessly executed, creating a captivating experience. The hall's design harmoniously balances aesthetics and functionality, providing panoramic views from every vantage point, including the balcony.

I recently attended an outstanding Japanese drum (taiko) show performed by Todo Company. The performance was incredibly spectacular and impressive. The drums were hypnotic, transporting the audience to a fantastical world. The entire two-hour show was thoroughly enjoyable. The sound quality was magnificent. Ample paid parking options were available around the hall, including underground parking. The venue was also easily accessible by TTC. The staff's courteous and friendly demeanor created a welcoming atmosphere for patrons.

Roy Thomson Hall shines like a jewel in the city’s heart — its glass dome gleaming with promise, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra offering transcendent beauty, precision, and grace. Inside: culture, elegance, and refinement. Outside: a man bathing in the fountain, trousers around his ankles, unseen and unsheltered. The contrast is jarring. This is splendor and misery side by side — a haunting portrait of a city where high art meets harsh reality, and where the music can barely drown out the silence of indifference.

This place is a real gem! Plenty of space to eat and dance. Was clean and organized. And on top of that you can choose menu option from their delicious Peruvian food too! I will book again in the future for sure! Kudos to our waiters and the organizer would helped me with alcohol permits and planning. Highly recommend!

All my guests enjoyed the meal! The staff provided personalized service and even helped me plan the event. I was able to celebrate a large party at a reasonable price.

Nice venue, I saw Crywank here in April 2023. Bar doesn’t serve much alcoholic drinks, and you’re not supposed to bring any water bottles inside (understandable). Coat check was $2 each if I recall correctly. Very lowkey spot with nice lighting. Not quite the same energy as live music in a bar/pub though.

Club Saw was a great venue! Even better they had Kroy from Milk & Bone! She was incredible!

Ghostly kisses rocked the place! Highly recommend. Patio for smokes/vaping. Parking was close by also!

This cathedral is the oldest in Toronto. Its interior can only be described in one word , "Breathtaking ." From its ceiling high stained glass windows to It's impeccably clean clear windows. My only concern is that although it is wheelchair accessible, there are no clear signs posted that state so. Unfortunately, this is my only concern regarding the church. I had to wait over 30 minutes for a staff member to notice me and direct me to the wheelchair accessible entrance. I tried calling the church for assistance several times but was only answered by a recorded message. That didn't taint my experience there once I managed to gain access to the church. I highly recommend that if you're in the downtown Toronto area of Church and Queen Sts. If you find yourself with a little time to spare, please drop in for a visit. You'll find yourself unexpectedly in awe of your surroundings as you immerse yourself in its glory and beauty. I was so enthralled by its magnificence that I forgot to take photos. I apologize in advance to all who read my review.

I attended the Sunday session at 10am. Angelic! Perfect for newcomers. Smiling faces. You'll get coffee after the service too. Finished around 11:30am.

I am very emotional about churches, especially these gothic cathedrals. It's so well maintained and beautiful. I had years in my eyes during the Holy Communion (Lord's Supper/Bread/Wine).

The Holy Communion welcomes all.

Christians with stringent beliefs, the church won't necessarily match you beliefs. It has a pride flag hanging and you'll get uncomfortable.

It's located in the heart of Toronto. It's a beautiful church with nice architecture.
The Cathedral has been designated as an Ontario Heritage Property by the Ministry of Culture and has also been designated as a heritage site by Heritage Toronto. I had a peaceful experience here.Exterior of the church is beautiful too and I went on a Sunny day so it added to the beauty. Quite accessible with private sndy punvkivy transport.

Visited here yesterday for the first time with my group of adults with disabilities and it was so fun. We played volleyball, made sandwiches castles, buried each other, played frisbee, and did relay races. The only comment I would make is it’s a little dark in there, but we still had the best time.

Incredibly welcoming from the staff members to the community. Lots of different leagues and all skill levels are welcomed. I’ve played in the ultimate frisbee league for the last two seasons and it was a blast. Lots of parking in the lot. Great play area for kids and seating for adults to hang out (and a play to buy beverages!)

Really nice and clean. We appreciate having an indoor place to bring our baby to when its hot outside. Staffs were very helpful and welcoming!

It's an excellent place to have the kid's birthday party. It's fun for them to play in the sand, the staff it's friendly, and they have activities for the kids. Also suitable for playing sand volleyball indoors. There's no water. It's only a giant sandbox. Recommended.

I really didn't expect the sand to be so soft. There are sections that are dry and wet, so it's easier for kids to build sand castles. Also happy with the shower facilities. I just needed to be able to hose down the children before getting back in the car, and it did the trick.

We got married here in July 2025 and could not be happier with our experience. From the very beginning, the team was fantastic to work with — it was easy to set up viewings, and their communication was always clear and timely. The online portal made planning so much easier, helping us stay organized and on track.

The venue itself is absolutely stunning and perfect for anyone wanting to minimize moving parts on their wedding day. They truly have everything you could want on-site — a beautiful bridal suite for getting ready, a well-appointed groom’s room, and a gorgeous setting for both the ceremony and reception. The bar team was also incredible to work with, adding to the seamless flow of the day.

We got married last weekend at The Brownstone and we are truly blown away by every aspect of this venue and their staff. From the initial viewing, the preparation, to the day of, working with them was nothing short of incredible. Our experience at the Brownstone was fantastic! They were so accommodating from start to finish, making us feel welcomed and excited in every step throughout the process. Bretton and the team made sure they were in constant communication with us throughout the planning and we really felt looked after.

10/10 would recommend the Wedding Coordinator service. Bretton took all of the details we wanted and made it a reality. She really took the weight off of figuring out vendors, pick-ups/drop-offs while still making sure the overall esthetic of the wedding was how we envisioned it. She stayed in touch days up to the wedding to really put us at ease.

We had a great experience with Brownstone after our wedding venue flooded and we had to look for an alternative. The team was super considerate and professional laying out all the details and setting very clear expectations.

We loved the look of the new “Offsite” venue as well. I think either offsite or brownstone would serve as an excellent wedding or corporate venue with a very competent crew.

Cameron House is a great spot for a night out in Toronto! The bar has a cozy, welcoming vibe with a nice selection of beers to enjoy. The host was super friendly and made us feel right at home. I especially loved the live concerts—they showcase some really talented musicians and create a fun, lively atmosphere. It’s a fantastic place to grab a drink and enjoy good music.

Awesome music (with no cover in the front room when we went!). Beer is a reasonable price $6-8. Friendly door and bar staff. The sound for the music was well done too, clear and not too loud. Some seating but be prepared to stand if the band is popular. Love the vibe in the place.

Amazing place. Best venue to go and enjoy great live music during the week as well as on the weekends. Good prices for drinks and highly recommended to spend some time there and just enjoy! Support your local artists!

Incredible experience of live music. The place unfortunately do not serve any food. In terms of drinks - very basic cocktails, but mainly beer (canned, draft), cider and coolers. But bands playing in that historical place are amazing. It is experience that worth your time and money.

I was initially skeptical about this place, especially since we traveled all the way from Mississauga to Toronto just for the performances. But they absolutely nailed it! The entire experience—the vibe, the music, the crowd, the bar everything was incredible. Everything came together perfectly, making it an unforgettable night. It’s a must visit place and not just for once but for all the time anyone is in Toronto! They have different bands coming on different days and different times so nothing is as same as before its just all new music and new vibes!

We've done a few events at Globe & Mail and always had such an amazing experience from a planner side of things and for our clients. The staff at this venue are so caring and always go above and beyond to ensure the celebration is absolutely perfect. Last September we worked closely with Natasha and can't say enough great things about her. She was responsive, flexible, and on wedding day made sure we had everything we needed.

This is a building with an amazing view to Toronto downtown. It's probably the best view. I believe 17th floor is where they organize different events and it's where I was when I visited this place last time. Also a large balcony all around the building. Really great

I had the privilege of attending the Spring for Peace event in Toronto yesterday, hosted by Peacebuilders Canada at the stunning Globe and Mail Centre. It was an honor to be part of such an impactful gathering aimed at fostering peace and unity in our community.

Huge thanks to Eva Marszewski for the invitation and for her incredible work as the founder of Peace Builders International, as well as being a fellow member of Catalyst 2030.

The keynote address by the Honorable Minister for Women, Gender Equality and Youth, Merci Ien, was truly inspiring. Her emphasis on the importance of empowerment and educative programs in shaping the lives of youths across Canada resonated deeply.

Events like these remind us of the importance of creating a world where every voice matters. Kudos to the Peacebuilders team for their dedication and hard work in making this event a success.

A very top notch romantic restaurant. I recently went for a Sunday Dinner to celebrate an anniversary and this is easily in the top restaurants I've been to. The staff are exceptionally personable, helpful and so nice, the views are obviously amazing and it's a treat to have a location like this overseeing a lake yet be inner city. The food was absolutely amazing and the staff was knowledgeable to help recommend the best meat cooked level and provide great drink and menu choices. We started with Crab and Potatoe Croquettes that were actually amazing and had very little crab smell and the texture with plating a treat for sure! After the appetizer our main dishes were plated with care and tasted amazing. The bison was delicious with the vegetable side and the stuffed pastry was actually an 11/10 and blew us away. The Ribeye was classic and cooked to perfection with the Potatoes and Broccoli and it definitely was a steakhouse quality dish. The desert being the lime creme brule was good and I would rate it visually a 10 but for taste it sat around an 8. It was not bad at all but having a meal where every item hits a solid 10 really holds a high bar that is both exciting and yummy to see. I give this place a 10/10 and highly recomme d everyone visit to enjoy a romantic dinner.

The Lake House in Calgary is a stunning spot with incredible views and equally impressive food. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, perfect for a special night out or a cozy dinner. The menu showcases local ingredients with real care, and every dish feels thoughtfully prepared. A must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience by the water.

Wonderful outdoor patio experience, got there before it became too crowded and loved the view of Bonaventure lake beach, great sounds, music was perfect, atmosphere was amazing, and servers were very passionate 😁 would recommend to a friend, 9.8/10, indoor dining area was straight from the set of a culinary movie!!! Had our wedding here couple years ago & also dine yearly for our anniversary. It’s always a hit with the food and service! The ambience is romantic and perfect for a wedding!

We dined here for the first time for their new years eve menu. The ambience was great and it was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The staff gave us a choice of where to sit which was a nice touch. We did get a couple of the wine pairings with the meal, and they were expertly paired! The meal itself was delicious and offered a nice variety of flavors with each course. Very well done. The service was fantastic and all the staff were very attentive. We will definitely be back in the summer to check out the view once the lake is thawed, and to enjoy another meal.

The space is thoughtfully designed, offering three different levels that cater to a variety of needs and events. Whether you're looking for an intimate setting for a smaller gathering or a larger area to accommodate a crowd, this venue has it all.

The accessibility is top-notch, with an elevator making it easy for everyone to navigate the space comfortably. The location is also incredibly convenient, making it simple for guests to find and enjoy.

What truly stands out is the hospitality—the team goes above and beyond to make sure every detail is taken care of, leaving you feeling welcomed and valued. If you’re planning an event, I highly recommend checking out The Pioneer on 8th! It’s a perfect combination of style, functionality, and warm service."

We had our wedding ceremony at the Garret and a cocktail-style wedding reception at the Pioneer in February 2024 and everything was perfect. Great communication and support leading up to our big day and execution on the day of was flawless.

Both venues have such great vibes on their own that we really didn't need to do much from a decor perspective, and opted to just enhance the buildings' incredible features with lighting, florals and candles - though the possibilities are truly endless. We received feedback from our guests (many from out of town) that the location was great as it was easily accessible and it was fun to be right in the action on Stephen Avenue.

The service from the SugarWater team on the bar was excellent - though we had a crowd of big drinkers there was never a line at the bar and our guests loved not only the craft cocktails but the really thoughtful selection of wines and local beers and seltzers.

We would highly, highly recommend the Pioneer for a wedding or any other event, celebration or gathering. Thank you to the whole team!

On June 11 Epilepsy Association of Calgary hosted 130 guests, performers, artists and event volunteers and at its inaugural Purple Day by Night fundraising gala at The Pioneer. This was such a special night and the venue itself added to the magic of a bustling late spring evening on Stephen Avenue. Guests and event volunteers were pleased with all aspects of the event and we've booked the venue for 2023. Thank you Heather Coke and team for your patience and helpful guidance in making our night a success!

It was an absolute pleasure to provide technology for a private event for XERO here! Plenty of available circuits with good ampage, accommodating staff (particularly Wyatt), and reasonably good loading dock access (given it's downrown). Would be happy to work here again; thanks, folks! :)

Invited here for a live music event that turned out to be much more than we all thought it would be. We thought we were going to see four musicians play their sets, but instead for a musicians sat facing each other told a series of stories and then rift off each other for the entire evening in a delightful and experiential entertainment event. It's a beautiful space and I look forward to my next visit and Calgary to see what they might be hosting then.

What a memorable evening surrounded by incredibly talented musicians! Blue Jay Sessions, Pure Canadiana YYC was emotionally moving. I'm still in awe! The Prairie Emporium is also such an electric, remarkable venue and paired seamlessly with this show. The owner and staff, (including Amy) are all seriously just the best. What a cool spot! Great atmosphere and the staff are lovely! We had never been before but decided to check it out for the Czech night, dark Kozel beer and amazing food! The garlic soup, sausages and chicken paprikash... *chefs kiss*.

I photographed a wedding at the Symes and it was the ultimate experience! They accommodated such amazing food stations, room flips, and two cocktail hour time slots! They were so amazing and every single dish was phenomenal! The space was set up beautifully as well!

My daughter and I attended the Mother's Day High Tea on Sunday and it was absolutely delightful.
The Service was great our server was Damilola. He was very attentive to our needs in a pleasant and professional manner.
The assortment of goodies and teas was beyond our expectations.
God willing and it's scheduled next year we will be there.

The Symes hosted our wedding earlier this month and we couldn't have been happier we chose this location. The space is absolutely gorgeous; with it's exposed brick and art deco design, it has to be seen in person to truly appreciate it's beauty & uniqueness. The venue also has an amazing rooftop terrace that offers picturesque sunset photos.

But what really makes The Symes exceptional are the people who run it. Namita and her team were incredibly accommodating with all our special requests and really made us feel like we were the most important clients they have ever had. The evening was stress-free and that's a testament to how well they took care of every detail.

We got married at Twist at the end of August 2025. We immediately loved the venue when we first visited, but we also really appreciated the approach of Nadia and her team. They are so organized, practical, and kind. We worked mostly with Nimna, Nadia, and Marisa leading up to the day and Kevin coordinating during the event. Twist provides really helpful planning document and a floor plan that made me look like the most organized bride. The venue was beautiful and everything turned out even better than we had envisioned! We received so many compliments on the bartenders, staff, the venue, and the food from our guests. Our wedding was so smooth and felt effortless to us. We couldn't have asked for anything more.

We recently had our wedding at Twist Gallery, and it was an unforgettable experience! The venue is stunning—warm, elegant, full of charm, and has a unique artistic vibe that made our day feel truly special.

Nimna, Marisa, and Kevin were fantastic to work with. They were organized, responsive, and ensured everything ran smoothly, both during planning and on the big day. Day of, their professionalism allowed us to fully relax and enjoy every moment.

The bar and wait staff were both friendly and attentive. We received many compliments on the food, which was not only delicious but also thoughtfully prepared to accommodate various dietary needs.

Our band, Elfrida, had no issues setting up all their band equipment for both the ceremony and reception—everything worked seamlessly in the space and they sounded awesome!

We can’t recommend Twist Gallery enough for weddings or special events, and we’re excited to return to enjoy the rotating art exhibitions.

We got married at twist in July 2025. We had an unusual wedding - no dancing and no alcoholic. We were going to play music. Nadia and Nimna were fantastic at understanding our vision, giving suggestions, and helping make our day PERFECT.

Meeting and Planning: Throughout the meeting and event planning, we really appreciated how much they let us do our own thing on our own time, while still helping us keep organized. Their documents were perfectly outlined to help. When we had trouble figuring out table settings since we didn’t want to do flowers, they sent us many photo ideas. They helped us figure out logistics of floor plan and more.

Day Of - Atmosphere: They let us come in the day before to drop off boxes. Nimna and I went through them all to make sure she knew where things were. On the day of, when my husband and I arrived to set up our music, they were already there setting up for the wedding. They perfectly arranged everything. The space looked beautiful, everything was organized, and they did outstanding at making sure the space was perfect. The gallery was stunning. They were also incredibly fast at moving the chairs from the ceremony to the reception. The staff also had everything boxed up for us for a couple days later to pick up.

Day of - Kevin. Kevin did an amazing job with allergies and intolerances. He also helped with two of our families who used the chairlift. They were both treated with immense dignity and respect in a vulnerable situation.

Day of - Catering Team and Bartenders: having a non-alcoholic drinks bar was definitely outside of the norm but the staff were amazing. They always gave me extra cherries in my drink because they knew i liked them. We also had a family member with dementia who they helped so kindly and graciously. The catering team was efficient, attentive, and fantastic. I’ve never seen a wedding where food was out so quickly. They did a fantastic job with a last minute seating change that they handled without me or my husband knowing. They also were alway serving water, which for me was a huge plus. The food was fantastic. Multiple people commented that it was the best catering they’ve ever seen.

Day of - Security: The security was fantastic. Since it is above a bar, they had security included in the venue. He was dressed in a lovely professional suit and was so kind to our guests. He helped some of our older people up and down the stairs and went above and beyond.

Overall, we truly had the best day. And not to brag, I think the best wedding i’ve ever been to (not just because it was mine).

I would really encourage anyone and everyone to consider twist as the space for their wedding. Not just because it’s a beautiful space, you can make many spaces beautiful. It’s the staff and team there that make it truly a wedding venue of your dreams. Truly we couldn’t have dreamed of a more perfect day. I’ve never been to a wedding where it felt like nothing went wrong, until I worked with Twist.

I saw comments about the sound from the bar below, yes you could hear it, and that might impact weddings with dancing, but for us, we barely noticed it.

My husband and I were absolutely thrilled with our wedding at Twist! We had a destination wedding a few months before so we were able to compare planning for both and I cannot emphasize enough how much easier it was to plan our celebration at Twist!!! The staff were incredibly organized and made planning super easy and stress free! They were so accommodating with all of our requests and went above and beyond trying to make our day as special as possible. All pricing was super transparent and costs were incredibly reasonable. The food was absolutely delicious and we loved the intimate vibe of the space. Would 10000% recommend!!!!!

Twist Gallery was the perfect winter wedding venue! If you want to simplify your wedding planning without compromising a on a beautiful venue with top quality food and service I'd highly recommend. The stunning loft-style space with skylights, wooden beams, twinkly lights, and artwork create a beautiful ambiance. We hired a florist but had no other decor brought in and the place was stunning. Gusto’s catering was exceptional; our guests are still raving about the delicious food and top-notch service. Nadia and Nimna were fantastic to work with, always prompt and helpful. Highly recommend Twist Gallery for anyone looking for a unique and elegant event space!

This hotel hyped this venue up way too much for my liking. My Aunt decided to throw her 55th birthday party at venue twenty two this past weekend and it turned out disastrous! The dinner before the actual party which was at The Shore Club restaurant was awful, everyone who ordered the steak dinner ended up with what I’m assuming to be food poisoning because they all had to run to the washroom multiple times throughout the night. There were also finger foods that were prepared for the party that the staff put out way too early after the dinner(this was an invite only party so the guest that were at the dinner were the same guest to attend the party) and it ended up going to waste for the most part because it was only 15-20 mins after everyone went upstairs that the food went out. To top it off the staff ended up packing up all of the food because then they decided it was “left out too long” which is understandable, but the point being was that the food should have not been brought out until later that evening that way everyone could have enjoyed it. The staff also treated the attending DJ horribly as they kept telling him to turn the music down in a room which advertised to be “soundproof”. We didn’t want the music blasting, but loud enough for us to be able to enjoy it in a room that size. We weren’t able to hear it because they continuously interrupted the DJ telling him to turn it down Needless to say the money that was spent on this party went to waste and I do not recommend renting this venue after the way we were treated. Do better Westin, this was very disappointing.

We recently hosted our wedding at Venue Twenty Two. We can’t express enough how perfectly the service was orchestrated by the Westin. The food was delicious and served in a timely manner! The venue is beyond beautiful. The floor to ceiling windows offered amazing views of downtown Ottawa and the sunset was breathtaking from up there! Our coordinator was Kayla Camus leading up to the event and Mariam on the day of. They were both so professional, organized and answered my many many questions promptly! Thank you both so much! We would recommend the Westin/Venue Twenty Two to any future brides/grooms!

Wonderful venue, recently attended a cocktail reception in this space, located on the 22nd floor of the Westin Ottawa. There are wrap around windows with expansive views of the city, highlighted by the Parliament Buildings and the Fairmont Chateau Laurier. The bartenders and service staff were friendly and efficient with serving guests and I noticed that they were extra diligent in keeping the room tidy throughout the event. This is an excellent choice for business and personal functions!

Beautiful conference room with breath taking views of Ottawa and stunning sunset. Elegance and always pleased with Westin services. I love the fragrances and always purchase some for my home.

Really cool venue with a great view of downtown Ottawa. We had our work Christmas party there (apps and drinks) food and service was great. The 270° view of ottawa was breathtaking.

Waterfront was a great choice for our day, we are very happy we chose this venue. Jade was great and thought of everything we needed. She helped us make sure the day ran smoothly and gave us lots of helpful tips. The staff was great at setting up the venue. The florals and decor provided by the venue was exactly what I wanted. The few things that didn't go perfectly, Simply Elegant made up for in a professional and timely manner. Would absolutely recommend this venue for any wedding!

Waterfront Park is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the views. The atmosphere is great, and overall, I had a really nice time. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I went to the bar at 5:28, and was asked to come back at 5:30. It felt a bit rigid considering it was just a 2-minute difference. Other than that, it was a great experience and I’d still recommend it!

I cannot recommend Waterfront Parks enough. Peter and Jade went well above and beyond, helping us plan a short notice wedding (we booked less than three months prior to the date in an effort to minimize covid related changes), navigating trying times, and providing unparalleled service. Jade is even pictures in our wedding photos adjusting my dress prior to walking down the isle, and Peter met us on the limo bus to help "hide" me from the guests prior to the service. They were like family throughout the process and I honestly don't think we would have pulled off the wedding of our dreams without them. The venue is stunning, location is ideal, the food was delicious (and catered to all sorts of weird dietary issues), and the decor was spot on. If you're thinking about booking waterfront parks with simply elegant, stop thinking and book it. You won't regret it!

Our son’s wedding was at the Waterfront Park Apr. 29th, it was absolutely amazing. The location is breathtaking even in early Spring, just imagine how stunning it will be in the summer…. Also included with the rental of the location is full set up and take down. The flowers were absolutely amazing. The staff from start to finish were so amazing, very responsive, very accommodating, and showed that they really care and want the best for their customers. I only added a picture of the brides bouquet as all of our other pictures have our guests in them, so sadly am not able to add any of the pictures to show how beautiful everything was set up for our son and now wife’s wedding day. The whole time there was magical. Everyone that attended was so impressed. Thank you

Had an event at the tent here. Amazing venue, tons of parking, friendly staff. Only downside we had access to only two bathrooms which with 100 people wasn’t ideal but made it work.

We had a wonderful celebration there for my brother’s wedding, and everything was absolutely perfect. The service was amazing — especially Noura, who is such an incredible person! She went above and beyond to make sure every detail was just right. We truly appreciate her kindness, professionalism, and care. Thank you for making this special day unforgettable!

Sunny is the great in management and so politely The service was excellent – the staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-organized, providing a relaxing atmosphere.

The food was also great. Breakfast was fresh and offered a good variety, and the dinner was delicious and well-prepared, showing real attention to quality.

Awesome! I had an amazing experience at this Middle Eastern restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavors and perfectly prepared. The restaurant itself is spacious, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal with family or friends.

Another great thing is the location—it’s almost in the city center, making it easy to find. Plus, there’s plenty of parking nearby, so there are no issues with parking at all.

Highly recommend this place for anyone who loves great Arabic food and a welcoming atmosphere!

Had our wedding reception at White Diamond. The best thing was the food, 10/10. Adam the owner is very kind and has an amazing culinary background.
Issues we encountered - All service and business integrity related.
-We had roughly 200 guests and there were only 1-2 servers on the floor, our contract said there would be minimum 8 servers. No one to serve us any drinks either (bride and groom), had to get our own family members to bring us drinks
-Bar line ups were very long, 3 bartenders but looked like they were in training and very inefficient
-Tables were not cleared after dinner, 200 dirty plates were left on tables all night
-They tried blaming us for their old, malfunctioned elevator that none of our guests could use from the start during the entire event. They did not give our security deposit back for over a month overdue as the contract stated security deposit to be returned 2 weeks after event. After we questioned them and put out our witnesses/facts then we finally got our deposit back from one of the other employees who was very helpful. (We were sending emails and texts for over a month while getting ignored on this topic)

This is the constructive feedback I have for White Diamond. It is important to keep communication and integrity with a client to keep a business relationship on a high note.
Our wedding was very successful because of the heart and months of planning we put into it but the service could have been better.

During a 10,000-mile North America road tour, IQtargets Art Museum of Human Goals' curator visited the Canadian Geographic and Royal Canadian Geographical Society. (RCGS) to invite participation in and discuss the "Portrait of a Nation" artwork, I can suggest the place as an ideal destination for family visits.
Education, learning, art, sightseeing, cinema, and even a hall are all available in this space.
The exhibition, titled PRESSURE: James Cameron into the Abyss, is free. 50 Sussex Drive is nestled amidst architectural gems in the heart of the city, with parking readily accessible. The venue accommodates special needs with doors at the bottom, maintains clean toilets, provides an elevator, and boasts a friendly and supportive staff. For younger visitors aged 6-12, there are tailored education programs. Guided tours, a park zone, and prompt decision-making.
Special appreciation for Mr.John Geiger and Tatiana 🇺🇦 for commissioning an amazing artifact, a map of the Ukrainian diaspora in Canada, starting at the end of the 18th century to today. It is a gesture of support by the RCGS for Ukraine.

Worth the short stop to see the Challenger exhibit about James Cameron's trip to the bottom of the ocean, Challenger Deep. Open until Sept 1st. Also, just a great location next to Rideau Falls and a wonderful view across the river to Quebec.

Awesome location that overlooks the falls and Ottawa River! Beautiful spot inside and great for hosting events. Gotta check this place out.

A beautiful location on the Ottawa River and nearby Rideau Falls. With lots of scenic decks and floor to ceiling windows it made for one of the nicest wedding locations i have ever been to. The meal was easily the best I have had at a wedding also!

Can't wait for this amazing venue to officially open!

Auburn House is a serene lakeside retreat with a 43-acre lake perfect for swimming, fishing, and boating. The 13-acre park offers pickleball, tennis, volleyball, a splash park, and trails. Winter brings skating and crokicurl. With its tranquil vibe and diverse activities, it’s ideal for families and outdoor lovers.

I’ve lived in Auburn Bay since 2018 and Auburn House has been such an incredible part of my life here. I use the space all year round and there’s always something to enjoy. In the summer, we swim, paddleboard, rent equipment from the boathouse, and take advantage of volleyball courts, disc golf, basketball nets, green spaces, picnic shelters, and even fishing in the lake. Winter is just as great with sledding, skating on both the pleasure rink and the lake, ice fishing, cross country path, and crokicurl. The two fire pits are perfect for warming up.

Inside, the gym offers so much all year from sports, activities, and plenty of things to sign up for. But what truly makes Auburn House special is the incredible calendar of thoughtful, fun community events they host all year long. From the haunted house at Halloween to festive events for Christmas, Easter, Valentine’s Day, and more. I always look forward to the summer beach parties, movies in the park, food truck Fridays, Friday night campfires, Bands & Brews on the beach, and the year-end fireworks show, the list honestly goes on and on. I cannot even include everything on this list.

The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and do an amazing job maintaining the space. I feel so lucky to live in Auburn Bay and have access to such a well-run, fun, and vibrant community hub.

We hosted a Celebration of Life at Auburn House in early August. The facility is fantastic and the event went incredibly well. Even more impressive was the level of caring and attention to detail from the staff there. It was a difficult time when making the arrangements but they were all fantastic to deal with and showed great customer service and compassion. Highly recommend them to anyone!

Amazing lake, great staff with a multitude of things to do.

An awesome lake with lots to do for the entire family members. The kids love the sandy beach and swimming in the lake. We love the tennis courts as we have plenty of them with always one or two are ready for us play in. There is a basketball area and other beach ball field. We love the boats ride as well which we do from time to time.
