Excellent venue for concerts!!!
Glorias is in front....amazing burger, drink,serversand atmosphere, but $....I'm from Windsor...might be average for the area.

It’s a small venue with strict bagging, I saw ppl buying pizza from outside, but you would have to wait outside of the line and finish the food before entering, the vibes and lights are nice, went there for the departure festival

Great venue, good sound. Reasonable drink prices. The older building has a cool vibe to it.

I like this venue because you can stand on the balcony. It was a nice view! I went to the Virginia to Vegas concert. What an awesome show!!!

Underrated venue, I wish more out of country artist knew about this place.

Massey Hall is a beautiful venue. I went there to see Jessie Murph (amazing show, by the way), and the experience was incredible. The hall itself looks magnificent, more of a theatre vibe than a typical concert venue, which makes it really unique and elegant.

There are plenty of seats, and depending on the artist, tickets for seats can actually be cheaper than pit tickets. The pit itself had a lot of room, and it didn’t look to jammed up or overcrowded like some other venues. Just a heads-up though: there are a lot of stairs. Our artist had two bars where you can buy drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic) and snacks which is on the top level (3rd floor) and one in the basement where you could also buy merch so be prepared for some long flights of stairs 😅. Overall, it was comfortable, organized, and such a great place to enjoy live music.

Definitely recommend seeing a show here if you get the chance!

Saw Japanese Breakfast at Massey Hall for my first visit, and it didn’t disappoint. The sound quality was incredible - crisp and clear. Honestly, I don’t think there’s a bad seat in the place. The venue has so much character, and the atmosphere was amazing. Already looking forward to going back.

Incredible and valuable piece of historical architecture. I sat in third balcony which we supposed to get there through old fashion none standard stairs and seats were close to each others. Love the vibe of the space but in comparison with modern architecture maybe a little far from requirements.

Fantastic vintage hall. Accoustics were phenomenal. The new bar area was roomy and efficient, staff was courteous and helpful. We sat in obstructed at the top. I would never recommend those seats as you couldn’t see the stage. Not good.

Even with its shortcomings, Massey Hall is great. They recently renovated and it still looks lovely. I like how there's a downstairs bar and merch area that's big enough for preshow guests to get what they need. The space is large and at the floor level not crowded. Excellent sound. The downsides are the seats are definitely small, some are obstructed by pillars and others are totally obstructed by speakers. Sit centrally and you'll probably be in good shape. There's a dedicated accessibility entrance as well which is nice to see for those who need it. I've enjoyed both performances I've seen here and look forward to coming back.

The venue is great in terms of occupancy and ambience. The food was alright but could have been better, the entrées with cheese and Samosas were good but steak with mayo was a really bad combination for some reason steak was really rubbery.

For Drinks, we ordered gin + tonic and some Guinness they were perfect as usual!!

This place is the ABSOLUTE BEST!! Great venue, amazing food and Joelle and her staff are simply the most amazing people to work with. We were a family group of 40 people for a 50e wedding anniversary. Everyone is raving about the event and the place!

After a bit of a venue search for a union sub-group AGM for 44 people, I randomly called a few pubs and MCHall seemed like the best in terms of our needs and price, and it didn't disappoint. The room itself was a nice intimate atmosphere, with suitable presentation facilities. The food and service was excellent. They accommodated a 5-piece band that we brought along no problem. Setup for the band and presentations was easy and the sound was excellent. A great evening all round and we'll be going back next year.

We had our wedding reception here and all the guests raved about the food. The ambiance and staff were friendly and helpful as well.

A beautiful flat area that all ages can walk around in. There are plenty of beautiful places to take Fall Colour Photos.

It is completely free to come and enjoy and the parking is not far away.

I would imagine that this place would be perfect for either family portraits or wedding photos too.

Absolutely loved DJing here. Warm, intimate, inviting. There’s a special kind of energy down there in fish creek. And the hardwood floor is great for dancing!

Great location and beautiful surroundings! Loved this location for the Candlelight series. This is a beautiful and intimate space for such an amazing experience. Very clos to Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant to have a bite before or after.

Our family hosted a wedding here and we were delighted with the ambiance, set up and service. Very happy. Location is amazing. Would have given 5 stars. A bit disappointed however with the bathroom situation. Only 3 restroom stalls - one men's and 2 women's. One of the women's stalls was out of service and so the door was just locked and no one to fix it. Created lines waiting for the restroom. The odor coming from them created a not-so welcoming addition to the entrance to the venue but I'm sure it will all be rectified after the long weekend. All in all, we enjoyed the venue and the beautiful ambiance it created for the wedding.

Here for a free concert at the Wood Terrace. Outdoors on a beautiful summer night listening to a super fun Cape Breton group. Thank you NAC, this is so very special. Love the small feel in the middle of the city.

Spacious, well lite, modern building housing an impressive, well arranged collection. Each piece, not only has information about the artist and date, but a back story to help understand the work. Lots of washrooms and handicap ramps.
Excellent locker and coat check with friendly, polite staff. Well worth a few hours to stroll around and admire a variety of art forms.

Attend a concert that was part of the free summer series concert. Very enjoyable. The concert took place on the terrace outside overlooking the canal. Bring picnic chairs.

Does anyone remember Classic Bookshops which was located in NAC after it opened? They also had a section for French books which was La Librairie de la Capitale. I have not been to NAC in ages! But these bookshops were really nice.

Great spot to catch all varieties of shows. Got to experience the National HS Improv championships firsthand. What a stellar event and kudos to the NAC for staging such a beneficial experience.

Old port Montreal, an amazing place to visit if you are going to Montreal, the summer vibe was at the full swing and people are so nice and friendly the variety of food outlet and other shops were just too good. One can enjoy the live music at most of the streets with amazing musician and playing with even the old forgotten instruments, the desert shops is another plus. Great time to spend and its all on foot.

Great place to visit and enjoy several fun activities like boating, zip lining, Ferris wheel, etc. The seating area beside the river is super scenic. Designated paid parking is available just beside the river area for 35 dollars.

A nice place to visit all year round. Ride on the ferris wheel is a great experience.

The information and interactive part of the exposition was great. I recommend going after 3pm or even on a weekend because when I went there was multiple schools groups there. The unpleasant part is when the kids would cut infront of the other people. All in all, an interesting exposition.

Very beautiful place. It would give you european vibes. There are lot of summer activities going on which you can enjoy. Must try the wheel and you will get the whole city view. There are many cute patios around to eat.

Just celebrated my 30th birthday at Plaza Universel a few weeks ago and let me tell you, I am still in awe on how amazing it was. From day 1 to meeting Vic, to the planning up until the end of my party it was just an amazing experience, stress free, and just perfect. Vic and his team were there for me every step of the way.
My guests are still talking to me about the food, the high quality menu and service. Everything was fantastic, the menu itself, the portions, the service...I have no words. The team was incredible, our waiters. They took care of my guests and made us feel like family. There is no doubt I would host all my future events here. I would recommend Plaza Universel in a heartbeat.
Thank you so much to the whole team for making my 30th birthday so special, perfect and memorable. I can't wait to host and plan another event with you guys.

I attended my niece’s bridal shower at this venue on May 25th, 2025 and it was such a wonderful experience that I felt the need to write a review. I was so impressed with the beautiful renovations that were done to this iconic building that has been around for many years-it’s a must see. The staff were amazing-professional and so kind and helpful. The owners were also present at the event. They tended to our every need and were a major contributor to the success of the event! I was blown away with the artistic presentation of the food and it was just as tasty and delicious as it was presented 😋 The newly renovated spaces, the great quality of food and exceptional service is a hidden gem on Preston. I highly recommend this place-you will love it!

I've been to two conferences here, with no complaints. The food was quite good, the sound system was excellent, and very well laid out, with a breakout room.

We had our wedding here this month and I cannot say enough great things about the venue and the staff. They were extremely responsive, helped us every step of the way including accommodating our every request the night of. Abbas was extremely present throughout the evening, not only checking in on the bride and groom but every room in the venue ensuring guests were taken care of. They communicated with our vendors to make the day run smoother and allowed us access to the venue prior to the event to add our own finishing touches. The food was incredible, and Yousef was extremely accommodating by adding any items we wanted to the menu. The renovations they've done really make the whole space pop. I highly recommend contacting them for any event.

Attended a charity event at the Preston event center last week, the venue is splendid, food was exceptional, and the service was stellar. I haven’t heard about this place before but I was greatly surprised ! A great event center, near downtown with parking !! I will definitely reach out to them if I have any event coming up !

What an incredible facility with incredible acoustics! Had the pleasure of hearing the University of Calgary Wind Ensemble under the very capable direction of Gareth Jones in this venue. What an amazing concert!

Seating is very comfortable and the sound in this hall is outstanding.

While I did my undergraduate in music at the University of Calgary, I had the privileges of both performing here and of working part time as an audio and lighting technician. Managers DW von Kuster, Luke Dahlgren, and Bruce Benneke definitely left a legacy of an entire generation of wonderful technicians to keep supporting performers as consummate professionals do! I have been very privileged to keep performing here since then - both before and after the organ was constructed - over the course of my 17-year career as a professional musician. Here are some photos of shows, recording sessions, and photo shoots I have done here over the years, including some dating back to my undergrad (which spanned 2002-2005... yes I'm old... haha!). Can't wait until the next time I am so fortunate to play here again!

The Rozsa Centre is a beautiful building (although from the exterior it doesn’t look like much). The entrance opens into a wide foyer and the theatre is simple but an efficient space that adapts with the sound of the music or performances in the venue. Elegant and comfortable!

Helpful staff and a great place for a performance rental. IT and sound personnel were easy to work with and provided a recording after the show.

It’s a small, cozy venue for children to perform. I wish it featured a café where parents could enjoy snacks or drinks during performance breaks.

Was a guest at a wedding held at the Rue, One thing to note is that the industrial exterior can be a bit surprising or off-putting when you first see it. But don't let that fool you—the inside is truly enchanting.

If you're looking for a venue with character and charm, The Rye at the old distillery is an excellent choice. It perfectly mixes rustic industrial vibes with modern elegance. Definitely recommend!

We absolutely loved everything about having our wedding at The Rye! From the moment we met Justin, he was so supportive, organized, and made us feel completely prepared throughout the entire planning process. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, and our guests are still raving about how incredible the food was. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience — we would recommend The Rye to anyone looking for the perfect wedding venue!

Good use of an old space. Great for your events. However the washroom being located on the 2nd floor and the event being on the 3rd was not great. Also serving staff was chaotic at best. Slow and rude. Bread at event was rock hard. Also health and safety is not a priority here as evidenced by wires running through the bar area with spills, drinks sitting on speakers and cables for lights not flat along walls. Minimum ac.

Men's washroom has a window directly behind 2 urinals with no blinds.

Such a cool, unique venue! Had an underground vive. Great food, service and decor. Would highly recommend for large parties or any other special occasions

Had our Xmas party here! The food they catered in was amazing! The hall was clean, and so were the bathrooms! Staff was super nice!

The 3D movie was fuzzy and was fixed past 15 minutes into the movie. The staff was however dedicated to better our experience and were quick to offer us refund and provides alternative viewing. Their dedication was enough for me to positively value this experience.

I had a terrible experience with Santo Cristo Banquet Hall. They are completely unresponsive—no one answers phone calls or replies to emails, making it impossible to get any information or book with confidence. On top of that, the location details are inaccurate and will not even get you to the right place. Overall, the service is unreliable and incredibly inconvenient. I strongly recommend avoiding this venue if you’re looking for professionalism and good customer service.

The hall was absolutely beautiful, clean and organized. Ed was polite, respectful, and well accommodating. He made the entire process smooth and easy. Looking forward to having more events here in the coming future.

Nice layout and vibe at this hall. The welcoming lobby space and adjacent main hall share sliding doors between the two bars. Nicely decorated, the coloured lights were pleasing and tables were spaced out well with lots of room for the dance floor. Clean washroom facilities. Staff was pleasant. Plenty of parking.

Just had a multicultural wedding at the banquet hall. The hall is big and fairly new. Has all the amenities that a function would need. From multi lighting options, great dancing floor, and optional 2 bars. Working with Edgar, was a pleasure.

Attended the Arena for a Hans Zimmer concert from east of the GTA.

First comment is the ease of access via public transportation. In our case, we ride the Go Train to Union Station and simply walked the few feet to the event.

Very user friendly on where to enter. Staff were very friendly and supportive. Security check was through and profession at entry as well.

Seating area was in a private booth, so yes, very accommodating and supportive.

Washroom facilities were very close and clean.

Overall a great experience and the arena acoustics absolutely supported the concert.

This arena was easy to enter and exit with freindly staff! We were there for a concert and it seemingly had no bad seat. Food selections were varied and tasty. Getting in and out of downtown Toronto can be challenging, recommend stay at a near by hotel for your event to promote an enjoyable experience...

Went for a concert and the venue is perfect for it, very well organized staff and lits of options for food and beverages that make the lineups short. The self serve kiosks are pretty amazing.

The sound was good and no matter where you had seats the visual would have been terrific. Linkin Park nearly blew the roof off the place.

Really easy access to public transit as the arena has a direct hookup to union station connecting you to via, GO or the TTC

Overall, the experience at Scotiabank Arena was awesome – great atmosphere, energy, and facilities. It’s a fantastic venue to enjoy an event, and for the most part, our family really enjoyed being there.

The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of an issue with our seating. We had booked 8 tickets for the whole family with the expectation that we would be seated together in a row. However, when we arrived, there were two ladies already sitting in the middle of our row, and despite showing our tickets, they refused to move. What was even more disappointing was that the security girl nearby didn’t intervene – she simply told us to sit wherever we could find space. It felt unfair, and I honestly believe those two ladies may have been related to her. Because of that, we couldn’t sit together as a family, which was really frustrating since we had planned the evening as a group experience.

That aside, the arena itself is fantastic, and we still managed to enjoy the event. I hope management pays more attention to seating enforcement so that everyone can fully enjoy their time here.

Visited here for ARR concert. The arena is a long drive from my place. Taking GO train is best to reach . They have multiples gates and organized the crowd so well. I am kind of sensitive to even theatre sounds but the arena sound effects are so clear and entire concert is so good. We enjoyed it. The bathrooms are rush before and after concert . As usual supply and demand the beverages , food are expensive . Only small handbags are allowed and no outside food .

One of the best intimate spots in Toronto to celebrate and hosts events for our corporate holiday party this year. Anil, Liz and the entire team at SPACE were amazing from beginning to end to ensure our vision to appreciate each and everyone of our employees were met. They exceeded our expectation by ensuring the entire SPACE felt like it was personalized just for US. Will definitely be looking to host something there again!

One of the most beautiful and versatile event spaces I've seen in the city.

It's unique historical features on the outside are still felt on the interior of this recently updated, multi level and functional event space.

It has a modern, bright and almost gallery feel to it. The 2 story windows flood the space with amazing natural light, which was perfect for shooting photography.

It just has an overall great urban vibe. It can easily be transformed into some most incredible and vibrant event spaces.

Working with SPACE founders Anil and Liz on several small projects has been an absolute pleasure.

Loved the space in Space. Spacious! Has a great vibe. Attended a friend’s birthday celebration. Would just like them to better utilise the Space. Add more seating. Some huge indoor plants. Also a better bar area would be good. But besides all this, the place is still great. Would I have an event of my own here? Yes, without a doubt!

Super cozy place..I attended one of the ikea exhibit here which was cool..the space is quite spacious with lots of daylight.the food served here was delicious. Things were organized in a manner like you are at home.

I have attended Space on king on a couple of occasions. One was the Vintage Pop up market which was a lot of fun. The Venue is in an up and coming area or Cork Town.(Berkley and King) Door person greeted us. Well organized with Lots of interesting vendors, eclectic, unique finds that make shopping fun again, especially with all the restrictions. Tall celings, lots of light, different levels and a real positive energy.. Capuccino's upstairs with cookies!!. I m looking forward to the next one coming up Feb 20!! Not to be missed SPACEONKING...Check it out

The other time was by there was for a Sweet 16 SleepOver Party that was simply amazing. There was a huge ball pit for the girls and beds set up for the sleep over. The creative genius that came up with this should be complemented and applauded. Creative, innovative, unique and simply brilliant. The only thing I can say is I wish I was 16 all over again!! The SPACEONKING venue and event space is flexible and unique and coupled with the creative minds behind this concept ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE...Check out some photos of this jaw droping partyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

The staff are extremely kind. I cannot STAND THE IDIOTIC VENDING MACHINES THAT TOOK MY MONEY ONCE AND THE SECOND TIME IT JUST WOULD’NT WORK every time they just ooh you can call the number on it what the flip is that going to do? Send me the
drink? Other than that it’s good.

New facility in Strathmore near Hwy 1, this is the home of the Falcons with 2 volleyball courts, indoor soccer and open gym. Day passes are dirt cheap,definitely come back here again when we come for hockey tournament.

The staff there are nice. Seems like it would be a fun facility to do activities at (pickleball, badminton, basketball, etc)

I absolutely love the ability to use an indoor track. I do wish it had the same schedule flexibility a 24/hour gym would have but I'm enjoying it 😊

Went in spent money for a group of people to go in they had told us one court was booked til 6:30 but right after we got in they kicked us off the court saying all of them were booked for the entire night entire waste of time and money and gas and they didn’t even offer a refund disappointed that the staff lied to us we’re only in for 5 minutes before we left

Full of Canadian and American music, musician information, history, clothing, instrumental artifacts, interactive exhibits, and visuals, all set in an incredibly cleverly designed architectural experience. Check out senior prices on Wednesdays. Parking is nearby in a parkade. You can quickly purchase tickets at the front desk and move through the exhibit at your pace. We found two hours was plenty.

Glad to have tried this place on free admission day with toddlers. Cool space with multiple floors. You can try out various instruments. I would say if you’ve got toddlers you might as well just go to Long & McQuade until they are older as there isn’t much else for them here so you could save the entrance fee. Cool designs, general space, art, etc.

was blown away by the architecture, especially the fifth-floor view and 300-seat Performance Hall. It was one of the most amazing architectural experiences of my life! I was lucky to capture this beautiful artwork with my humble iPhone.

What an amazing place. Not only the building but the collection of music artifacts. 5 floors of amazing music items to look at read and watch. Try your hand at our of the many instruments. Guitar, drums, piano. Lots to read and enjoy. Easy parking right beside the studio. We spent clse to 3 hours because we took our time reading doing lots. Washrooms on every floor.

Beautiful building. Interesting exhibits. But marred by many interactive exhibits not working and a definite lack of enthusiasm among the staff. Missing a number of regions such as Newfoundland.

I recently had a wedding event at The Baron and had an absolute amazing experience. From inquiring about the event to executing it, it was perfect. Thr staff was super accommodating especially with last minute changes. The food was incredible! They helped with setup and take down and did everything to ensure we had a great experience.

The price point is ideal for small to large groups. Plenty of hotels close by with an added discount. My out of town guests were close to the airport and major highways

Ill 100% use this venue again and will hire them for catering events also!

I cannot say enough good things about this space and the team at The Baron. From the moment I reached out and even after our event Shae, Sarah and her team have been so highly organized, friendly, and supportive.
I hosted our company awards gala at this space in February and was so happy with how everything turned out! The staff had everything organized ahead of time and were so easy to work with. We encountered some sound issues during our presentation which the staff helped out tremendously with. The food and drinks were lovely and our attendees loved how much parking was available!
We’re excited to host our 2025 events with them!

The Baron was amazing to work with for our October wedding! The space checked off all the boxes for the mood of our wedding. The food was so delicious and had a great variety to choose from. The staff was always responsive and provided top-tier service. Highly recommend if you are looking for an intimate gathering for a great price!

My program's graduation party was held at the Baron and it was such a wonderful event. The venue itself is a fantastic space - very intimate yet open. Both before and during the event the staff were incredibly helpful, had great communication, and took care of all details. Guests raved about the buffet and were so impressed with how well the kitchen accommodated a variety of dietary restrictions including halal, vegetarian, gluten free, nut free, and lactose intolerant. Everyone was also really happy with the variety of drinks and pricing at the bar.

Multi-level facility with one large ballroom for hosting events or weddings. They've maintained the theater-vibe which is quite unique. Sound system is superb and they have a large projector screen. Servers are polite and professional. They also have a large bar area upstairs for hosting cocktail receptions.
It's probably expensive to host an event here, but if you're looking for a more classic environment this might work well.

Shot a wedding reception here during the summer and found their ambiance unbeatable! Their interior is gorgeous, and having an upper "viewing" area for cocktail hour and the first dance was so unique. And ofc, wedding portraits outside at night is a must because the lights and the sign are perfect for "hollywood" vibes

We had our wedding at The Eglinton Grand and could not have asked for a better experience. We hosted our 150-person wedding after-party here, and it was actually perfect in every way. We wanted a lounge-style atmosphere with minimal table seating, more couches/ casual seating, and Teri helped us create exactly that. I honestly don’t think any other venue could have offered what they did in terms of atmosphere.

From the planning stages all the way through the night of the event, the team was incredible. They coordinated everything so smoothly and made sure every detail ran on time (thank you to Andrea and the rest of the staff). They even took care of putting out our favours (which was a very last minute request from us) and managing the flow of the evening. Because of them, we genuinely felt like guests at our own party and never had to worry about a thing in terms of logistics.

We brought in a wood-fire pizza truck for an early dinner and had passed tapas-style apps for the rest of the night (outside caterer), and everything flowed beautifully. The venue also set up the bar in the main space to keep everyone near or on the dance floor, and it worked perfectly. The energy stayed high all night, and our guests keep saying how much they loved the space and the vibe.

If you are looking for a cool, flexible, and affordable venue with a team who genuinely cares about making your event amazing, I would give them a shot. Teri, Andrea and the rest of the staff went above and beyond for us, and we could not be happier with how our night turned out.

The venue itself is one of a kind, but working with Teri brings it to another level that cannot be experienced anywhere else in the city!

We recently had an afternoon event for our daughter at the Factory Lounge. It was truly a perfect setting. Our guests were wowed with the look and feel. Teri and her team were a pleasure to work with.
Pros: We loved that it was a space that we could easily customize to bring our vision to life. Teri had lots of great ideas about how to add some extra visual pop and maximize the layout for the comfort of our guests. The location is excellent, with lots of parking.
Cons: We wish our event had been longer because we were having so much fun!

While the venue itself was decent, dealing with the owner was a complete nightmare. From the start, she was unprofessional, often claiming to forget previous discussions, even when we had records of our conversation. It's crucial to keep a paper trail when dealing with this venue, as she can't be trusted. She nickel-and-dimed us at every turn, including trying to charge extra for chairs that were already included in our contract.

The venue falsely advertised that it could accommodate 250 guests, but the owner later said this was only possible in a cocktail-style setup. This forced us to rent a tent for cocktail hour, an extra expense that should have been covered by the venue. On top of that, she tried to charge $75 for water to fill the tent’s jugs, even though it should have cost less than $10.

The owner also imposed many restrictive rules. She said her staff wouldn't start setting up until 2 PM, despite our wedding starting at 4 PM. While our vendors were allowed to come anytime, her numerous rules made things difficult. For example, she threatened our lights vendor with charges before they had even begun working, adding unnecessary stress. Thankfully, our coordinators stepped in to handle the situation, but this was far from the smooth experience we had hoped for.

The owner also closely monitored our caterer, who was supposed to assist with cocktail hour and was also a guest. She was not allowed to plug her equipment into the wall and was threatened with a "landmark fee" if she did. As a result, the caterer couldn’t enjoy the event and had to keep working, which was unfair.

To top it off, the owner made an inappropriate comment about one of my guests, calling them "gay." This unprofessional behavior was completely unacceptable and went against the inclusive atmosphere we wanted for our wedding.

Overall, the owner’s behavior caused constant stress before and during the wedding. She seemed more interested in finding ways to charge us extra than in making our day special. I would NOT recommend booking this venue—find a place that values, respects its clients, open to compromise and honest.

When did actually go in November 10th event it was nice and fun place and the parking is nearby only so you can park there and there are a couple of parking options nearby cheap options this whole consists of two places of bottom floor and the ground floor but it's just very squeaky because it's made out of wood

Mark and the staff at the Great Hall hosted our wedding and did an incredible job.

Mark is very accommodating and easy to work with. The coordination with vendors was seamless.

The bar service was fantastic. Great drinks, no waits, good times.

I would highly recommend the Great Hall.

The Great Hall is a stunning concert venue that also serves as a wonderful location for a wedding. The staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Everyone at the Great Hall was very genuinely invested in making sure our event went well from start to finish. While there were a few unexpected turns, the staff at the Great Hall did a wonderful job of working with our vendors to keep things running smoothly. We didn’t really know how much went in to putting on a big event like this, but having the support and expertise of Mark and his team made the process a whole lot easier, and the end result was absolutely perfect!

Yea solid venue, love concert halls this size, feels very intimate and connected to the music and band but still big enough to have a decent size crowd that can really roar. Toronto has a few venues like this now and it's great, typically the shows are more affordable and offers options to more obscure bands that still make it worthwhile coming here as they can fill the hall.

Security was fast and efficient. Getting through the doors was easy. The bar was well stocked and service was prompt. Everything was clean and organized and well laid out.

Two criticisms
1 The sound crew seemed to have some issues mixing for both bands. Both bands were signaling them throughout their sets. This is not exclusively a problem to the great hall, every venue in Toronto has this issue it seems like. Can the sound techs in the city please figure it out? The music is always A) too loud to the point that speakers are peaking and B) instruments aren't mixed well where you always have one instrument over powering the others. Please, please, please - venue owners you need to pressure the sound techs to do better, more testing, more practice, more work with the artist ahead of time etc because we are robbing fans by not being able to hear these artists at their best.

2 It was way too hot in there. Try improving the A/C, if it was even on?

It didn't ruin my experience but overall I feel like it could have been more fun if the mixing and temperature were improved.

I've photographed several weddings in this beautiful space and I always love coming back! So much character and charm in the main hall. The light in the Drawing Room and the Conversation Room is beautiful for ceremonies & cocktail hour. Lovely staff too!
