I heard this place used to be a bank, and it really has a wonderful sense of history! I absolutely love the ambiance, with the old vaults and safes, plus the vintage elevator. The view from the second floor is breathtaking! If you're considering a venue for formal meetings or events, I highly recommend it. The staff are professional and the setting is truly unique.

This place is absolutely HUGE and perfect for hosting big events 🎉🙌. From start to finish, the staff were just amazing ❤️ – so supportive and whole-heartedly helped us manage everything smoothly.

The space itself is super spacious 🏢, with comfortable seating 💺, a great sound system 🔊, and big screens that made the whole experience even better 🎥✨.

A great venue for a concert. Bomrani band had a wonderful performance at Toronto Pavilion. Parking was a challenge and we ended up parking a bit farther. So get there sooner than later as the parking lot fills up pretty fast. The venue is a quite nice one with a huge sitting area and excellent light work. The sound wasn’t that perfect for a live music performance though. It could get annoyingly loud at times.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and had a pretty good overall experience. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and the room was clean with all the basic necessities provided. The bed was comfortable, which made for a restful stay.

We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub — a nice bonus! The hot breakfast buffet was excellent, with plenty of options to choose from. The hospitality team was very friendly and welcoming. We especially had some great interactions with Rose, Rodel, and Val — they really added a personal touch to our stay.

Great value for the price. Would definitely consider staying here again!

Customer service was excellent! Despite a very busy weekend, the front desk ladies went out of their way to accommodate us. Hotel was welcoming, friendly staff, free breakfast was great & very well stocked. Rooms were clean & comfortable. Will definitely be staying again the next time I am in the area

The staff was very accommodating with requests from our young family. Bonnie was able to confirm a room near the banquet room that allowed me and my wife to utilize our baby monitor while our little one slept, which kept us enjoying the event a little later into the evening. The breakfast in the morning after was also very good, much better than most continental breakfasts at similar hotels. Thank you!

We always stay here when driving from B.C. to my parents in Saskatchewan. It's clean, rooms are well appointed, the pool area is fab and the breakfast is plentiful...coffee is also delicious. This last time, we had a wonderful person check us in, he was accommodating, went beyond with customer service and gave us a 10 percent discount for our one night stay. Thank you. We absolutely love the NE Treehouse location in Calgary, AB! My daughter has the best time every time we visit, it’s her favourite place to play. The playground is huge, with so much space for kids to climb, slide, and explore.

One thing we really appreciate is that Treehouse accepts the Access 2 Pass, which provides a discount for children with special needs. It’s wonderful to see a business that is inclusive and supportive of all families.

The fruit cups are another highlight — fresh, tasty, and at $5, very reasonable for the amount you get. We’re also able to bring her water bottle in and refill it while we're there, which is a thoughtful touch for parents.

The arcade area is a fun little bonus. The $2 for 12 coins setup works perfectly for us, and adds just the right amount of extra fun before we leave.

Overall, Treehouse is clean, welcoming, and offers great value. Highly recommend it for families looking for a fun, inclusive, and affordable outing!

(I will add that we typically only visit mid week, not on weekends, it's not as busy and doesn't send my daughter into sensory overload.)

My daughter lobe to come and play. She loves the slides the most. We always love getting slurpees and running around like crazy such a great place to burn the kids energy out. Better selection than most for food all things are good and reasonably priced.

A very fun place for kids staffs are wonderful smiling and very helpful and playful. Doesn’t matter how many time my kids goes there , they always have a blast so do I . Need a family time and make your kiddos bring out energy before bed time , tree house it the best place .

First time here, and it’s a great place to spend time with your kid. We came at 9am on Saturday morning, and it wasn’t busy, but by 10am it was pretty busy already! Very loud, be prepared for this. We tried mozzarella sticks, grilled cheese and some packed snack with coffee. I would recommend to bring your own coffee, we was waiting for mozzarella sticks for 25 min, and it was fine. I wouldn’t really eat there anymore, just because it’s not good quality food. Not friendly staff. There’s some tables made for parents but they was all unavailable, because how busy it was.

Coming here is soo soo fun. Where kids can play to their hearts content, parents can have some downtime too. And the options to eats are so many, with great menu for kids and adults . I love their parent’s date night thing. Haven’t availed it yet. In addition to jungle play area they have great arcade game area too. Love to come here again and again.☺️ it an amazing place.

We had our wedding at allsaints a few weeks ago and it was a truly magical experience! We booked very far in advance and they were always responsive to our emails and in helping us plan. Tianna was absolutely amazing to work with - she checked in with us multiple times the day of and truly made us feel cared about. The food and drinks were also phenomenal with multiple family members taking fresh bread home. Thank you again for the wonderful experience!

We had our wedding at allsaints in May of 2025. It was a fantastic experience. Tiana and the rest of the staff worked diligently and were very supportive to ensure the day went well. Everything was so easy with them. The guests loved the food and the comfortable space. Thank you!

Overall wedding experience was good at All Saints. It is a beautiful venue, that we were able to decorate ourselves the night before (downside was we only knew we could till a few days before the wedding).
However, there are many things that were negative. Communication with the staff was poor, due to having to wait almost a month for responses to emails. Also we were changed several times who our primary contact was.
On the day off my guests had complaints about coffee not being refilled, their drinks being taken away from the table and a very long wait in between the first and second course.

I hosted my sister's bridal shower in the Chapel last week and it was phenomenal!! From the food, to the aesthetic, to the service - everything was perfect. The planning process was very smooth and I was able to do everything from a distance (over the phone and via email). I would highly recommend booking your small, intimate events at allsaints events space!!!

I had my wedding at this space, the room is breathtaking and the ambience is warm and welcoming. The catering is by Oliver and Bonacini beyond amazing... The only downside to the night was that the floor plan wasn't set up properly as they didn't leave enough space for the dance floor, when the dance floor was opened they tore down 2 tables that were blocking the dance floor. leaving some of my guests with know where to sit. One of the tables was my parents table so in the end they got put to the back of the room. This could have been prevented had they made the cocktail space smaller. Either way the night was beautiful and all my guests loved the evening. The staff were extremely accommodating and took very good care of my husband and i. I would definitely recommend this place just make sure to bring up the fact of the floor planning and the table placements

A beautiful medium sized event space with a huge skylight. The room is catered by Oliver & Bonacini so the food is pretty tasty too! Great space for weddings or even for a company meeting. Space is located on the top floor but is fully accessible.

Beautiful room, however it would have been nice to have sun shades on the sky lights so that you weren't blinded when the sun moved through the sky. The seats that were provided were also terribly uncomfortable as they were metal with low backs. Would have been nice to have cushions.

Stopped by for a wedding. Great loft-like venue, tasty food, nice ambiance. Perfect for events in the city for 100-200 people.

Went for their Tea in the Tropics event. Food was good, but not a lot for the price. It is in Carp, so the water tastes a little different.

Venue is nice with all of the plants, but not as tropical or lush as expected. The event information talked of "tumbling waterfalls" but we only saw the small one. Still nice, but adjust your expectations. All the workers were friendly and helpful.

I photographed a beautiful intimate wedding back in April at Aquatopia and it was stunning! The atmosphere was breath taking and so unique for this area, the staff went above and beyond for the couple and their guests... also helping me out if I needed anything.

You do have to understand the expectations when booking Aquatopia for your event, that it is warm in the venue as it is a greenhouse, so thats to keep in mind if you would prefer a venue with air conditioning but I still HIGHLY recommend the venue!

Wedding planning and organizing is extremely stressful, however Aquatopia and their staff are absolutely amazing. They make everything come together. The food portions were huge. They are all so kind and helpful. They go through everything with you step by step. I just had my wedding here with 80 people, our coordinator - Kayde was absolutely amazing. There was not one issue, not one mistake. Everyone that went even quoted about how amazing the atmosphere, the food, the decor. Our wedding coordinator Kayde also helped us with finding anyone we needed, they did all the decorating, and clean up. Never had to lift a finger. Great pricing. Highly recommend if you are planning on getting married - this is the dream.
And ask for Kayde to be your coordinator!

I attended The Sound of Revival 2025 at the BMO Centre, and I must say it’s one of the best venues for any event. I really appreciated how there were plenty of accessible, well-equipped restrooms conveniently located throughout. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and there was also a clean water fountain available. I loved everything about this centre—especially its location, which is right in front of the train stop, making it so easy to get to. Overall, a beautiful experience ❤️.

A beautiful and large facility perfect for meetings and events. Attended a wedding here and the food and service were fantastic. The food was excellent. The bread was fresh and even warm, the salad and soups were restaurant quality, the salmon was perfectly cooked, and the dessert was not only beautiful but tasty. They have an option to have a taco bar too with all the fixings and it was awesome. Just wish they had real corn tortillas instead of the flour ones. The chocolate fountain was epic and gourmet. The chocolate tasted so good it was certainly what dreams are made of. There is an option for having a dance floor too! An awesome experience.

We went to Comic Con in Calgary for one day on Saturday. We've been to Comic Con in Toronto and wanted to see what this convention was like.
Wow. So many vendors and the costumes are amazing. A lot of creators here as well, including celebrities. A lot of fun and a much bigger exhibition than expected. We got a very cool leather Spider Man jacket to top it all off. Great day.

The BMO Center is one of the most modern and impressive event venues I’ve ever experienced. From the attention to detail in its design to the professionalism of the staff, everything was top-notch. The audio-visual equipment is truly state-of-the-art, and the space feels fresh, sleek, and purpose-built for dynamic events. It’s exciting to see something of this caliber in Calgary. The venue sets a new standard for what an event space can be. Highly recommend going to events hosted here!

Went to the BMO center for the Outdoor show but also get into the world of Wheels car show. This was an awesome experience, me and my dad had a ton of fun and would recommend the events here. The tickets are very reasonable. $15 for the outdoor show, tons of bots, camping, bikes and trip packages. The car show was on another level. Tons of restorations jobs and lots of really cool new rides. Happy to have gone.

Was here at a night market. Lots of interesting vendors and food. It looks like a great and active community association too.

Interesting place. Long narrow structure with another space upstairs. Outside is family friendly with green spaces, playground, and a friendly guy selling hot dogs.

Fantastic sense of community, easy acces. Nice mix of dwellings and population age. And they have Little Super Dangerous play on occasion!

Vibrant community with lots of events and options for adults and kids. The market thats happens at the assiciation on Thursdays is super nice with great options.

We recently stayed at the Brookstreet Hotel for our second time. The hotel itself itself is clean and the rooms are spacious. My kids loved the variety with the pools, and we all enjoyed the outdoor pool and hot tub immensely. It's no wonder it's so popular in the summer - the outdoor pool is fantastic! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the lack of coffee/tea available in the lobby. Our family wakes up early, so we had to wait hours for the cafe to open. The woman who worked the opening shift at the cafe was fantastic though - really went above and beyond. Checking in/out was smooth!

Awesome spot! The cafe and restaurant are amazing. The rooms are comfy and clean. I really loved their breakfast menu. The restaurant has live music sometimes. The front desk staff was okay, not super friendly or helpful. I had a great stay, but I didn't feel very welcome at check-in or check-out.

We recently had our wedding at Brookstreet Hotel. Amazing experience working with their team. We had a lunch wedding and appreciated how flexible they were to work with us on doing something less traditional. We particularly want to shout out Jenna who was very responsive and helpful. The whole banquet team was very attentive and easy to work with. We received so many positive comments on the food. It was delicious! We took advantage of the golf course for some extra family/friends time and rehearsal dinner the day before the wedding. We also enjoyed dinner at the Jazz Lounge and complimentary breakfast the day after the wedding. We even got couple massages at the spa the next day. All around great experience and would definitely recommend. Thanks again!

Been to the brookstreet a few times and everything is always amazing. Stayed here for the night before my wedding and the night of my wedding and the rooms are gorgeous. We had a beautiful balcony room and service was excellent. Also went here for a day trip to go to the spa and pool. Such an amazing experience at the spa both times I went and the pool is excellent. The food at the restaurant is also really good and they have great cocktails.

We had a 3-night 'forced' stay-cation as our AC died and the brutal heat took us here while we waited. We had a Junior Suite and we were indeed very comfortable. It's a really nice room, lots of space, separate bedroom, well laid out, comfy bed and good amenities.

We stayed in the hotel the entire time as we really had no need to go elsewhere. You have all you need here: Great restaurants, cafe, room service, spa, indoor and outdoor pools etc. It really is a very nice, comfy and professionally run hotel and the price for our suite was surprisingly low compared to other hotels of this calibre. We'd come back in a minute!

A wonderful experience with the Billy Goat package. Easy to book. Everything went smoothly start to finish. Well cared for and loved animals. Knowledgable and friendly and organized staff. Was a great experience for all of us, and made the birthday girl feel really special too. Would rebook again in a heartbeat. Thank you!

The baby goats—so joyful, bouncy, and playful—instantly lifted my spirits and brought a genuine smile to my face. Their boundless energy and curiosity reminded me of the simple joys of youth.  

Butterfield Acres is more than just a petting zoo; it’s a place where memories are made, and the joys of rural life are celebrated. Whether you’re a child or just young at heart, the farm offers a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking to reconnect with nature and experience the simple pleasures of farm life.

Went to Butterfield Acres first time and it's a cute little farm with different animals you can pet / interact with. It is a great spot to bring kids! They have bathrooms on site, a little snack hut and hand washing stations everywhere. Tickets were 18.99 per adult, which I find overpriced for what it is but... There's some cows, tons of goats, small sheep, bunnies, miniature horses, lama, alpaca, turkeys, pigs, chickens etc. The majority of the animals for petting were goats 🐐. Something different to do and has the farm vibe in the city- located across from the Rocky Ridge YMCA.

We are in town visiting from Vancouver Island and were looking for a place to spend the day with our son who has autism. Butterfield Acres Petting Farm was a wonderful place to unwind, pet some really cute baby goats and a very friendly donkey, and just a fabulous place to be still and appreciate nature. Our son had an amazing time and didn't want to leave. Thank-you for all the great memories today!

I visited Butterfield Acres yesterday for the first time in a couple of years with my children, and it was an absolute delight. It’s rare to find a petting zoo or farm that takes such clearly thoughtful care of their animals. Every pen had enough space, clean water, and proper wallowing areas. The animals weren’t just okay — they were genuinely content.

One of the most magical moments for me was in the older piglet pen. As soon as my daughter and I stepped in, we were surrounded by squeals, and within minutes, three little piglets flopped right over for belly rubs. I’ve never had that happen before, and it brought me pure joy. The piglets were completely at ease, and honestly, so were we. Pigs are incredibly intelligent, smarter than dogs in many ways, and as someone who limits pork for ethical reasons, the whole moment felt emotionally and spiritually meaningful.

The goats were another highlight. Full of personality and mischief. There's one pen off to the right with a heartier breed from a different climate or region, and they are no joke. If you open that gate, be ready to chase a goat or two back in. It was chaotic and hilarious, and honestly reminded me of helping my cousins on their cattle farm as a kid.

We had three kids with us — a toddler, an 8-year-old, and a 10-year-old — and all of them were safe, engaged, and had a blast. The pony rides were a hit for the two youngest, and even the almost-2-year-old was completely enthralled.

What sets Butterfield Acres apart is the clear priority on animal welfare. You can feel that the animals are happy. And for me, that’s the most important thing. Human safety and fun matter too, but happy, well-cared-for animals come first. This place truly gets that.

I’ve only ever had good times and good food here. I went for tacos today and liked the pleurote and jacquiers ones. There are a lot of vegan options so I’ll be back. The bartender was rude at first so I assumed she was having a hard day. I gave her a good tip anyway, I don’t know if she saw. she warmed up to me afterwards 💗 and asked me to give feedback about the food so I said the tofu tacos I ordered were too spicy and she said she’d pass the word to the chef 👩🏻‍🍳

Loved the vibe and the people we met at this space! The cocktails were decent and well priced.

Been coming here for twenty years. Wifi and credit cards have changed the vibe ever so slightly but all in all good changes. Always interesting music and the recent editions to the (always) vegetarian or vegan menu are great. I love the tofu salad and the new al pastor tacos.

Nice ambiance in the restaurant and the adjacent live music bar and stage is very well insulated. You can almost not hear the music from the restaurant even though the music can get quite loud. Went to see some live music and really enjoyed ourselves.

On September 5, we celebrated our daughter’s Gunyo Cholo ceremony and reception at Crown Banquet, and it was a truly memorable experience. The venue was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. The decorations were perfectly arranged, and every step of the event was handled with care by their friendly and professional team.

A very special thank you to Amit bhai and his family—they are so kind, welcoming, and made sure everything was smooth from start to finish. We are very grateful for their effort and hospitality.

We highly recommend Crown Banquet to anyone looking for a venue with great service, food, and a warm atmosphere.

I had done my Sangeet night at Crown Banquet Hall with decorations for my house events. Communicating with Rima and Amit was super easy and they were very accommodating to all my requests.
The food was absolutely amazing and the decorations were beautiful. We had such a blast celebrating at Crown Banquet Hall.

We had an Jago at this hall and it was the best venue ever! It had such good food and decorations! We got everything we asked for. The staff there is super friendly and helpful. We got a lot of compliments on the venue! We are glad that we choose this hall.

I truly recommend this place to everyone🥰. We booked my brother’s reception at Crown banquet hall. I was really impressed by the decor. Moreover, the service was excellent there was staff at the entrance to welcome us. Especially don’t forget to try their mango lassi and all the food at live station, that is actually ❤️ love. Thankyou so much amit for organizing everything the way we want even though it was way more better than our expectations.😍😍

Its a big hall that provides you a luxurious experience for any gathering or ceremony. People up here are so welcoming and always are happy to help. I would recommend to get your next function organized at this beautiful place.

Went here for a Cigarettes after Sex’s North American tour stop in TO. The pavement was concrete so less beach-y vibe but the space is huge and we could easily stand/sit during the outdoor concert. Drinks and food were available at the venue but super costly. A Budweiser costed 18 bucks. Had a nice time because of the band’s music.

I was surprised at how great this outdoor venue is! Apart from the smaller VIP areas -- which are a couple of small raises patios off to the sides -- the entire viewing space is a sand floor. You will definitely go home with sand in your shoes, but it's softer than a concrete floor so your feet and joints will be thrilled by the end of the night! The concert "floor" is also quite spacious there's plenty of room for those to hug the stage, others who want to stand back a bit out of the action, and space at the back for people to sit on blankets or beach chairs. Being out on the water helps keep the place cool on humid summer days, and you also have an amazing view of the city and planes taking off from the nearby island.

The sound was great, the "washrooms" (a.k.a. portapotties and portable sinks) were clean and well-stocked, and there was a great variety of food trucks -- including a Beyond Meat truck for guaranteed plant-based options.

My biggest gripe is that getting through the "doors" took forever. We had VIP tickets and got in an hour early, but they only had one gate open so getting through security and bag-check was very, very slow. Also, you have to look in a bunch of different places to understand what you can and can't bring. The list on their website wasn't comprehensive, so we wound up having to check their Twitter responses as well to get the full picture of bag size, allowed items, etc. Still recommend attending this venue, just get there early and travel light. :)

I originally came here with a friend on September 18, 2023 for the Babymetal + Dethklok concert. What I loved about this venue was all the drink and snack options they have. They had a poutine stand and an ice cream truck here and getting to drink a slushy while waiting for the next band was great! There was a lot of room on the floor. So we didn't have to get worried about getting crushed in the pit. Enjoying the concert from a good distance was enjoyable. Not to mention, the atmosphere felt great and fresh since we were outside. So no need to worry about getting sweaty. Staff here were amazing too!

The reason I'm giving this venue 4 stars instead of a full 5 is for two reasons: 1) There was surprisingly no more sand anymore? That really caught me off guard. Last time I went here there was sand. What happened to it? And 2) I'm not a fan of cashless venues. I personally feel that after the 2022 Rogers Communications outage, being completely cashless is not good since credit and debit cards are not going to work 100% of the time. I even had a problem ordering food at one point because the card reader didn't read my card at first and we had to take about 3 full minutes to fix the issue with the card reader. This caused a major line up for one of the food stands. It would be so much better if this venue had both cash and cards as acceptable forms of payment especially since paying in cash is much faster and less problematic. Oh well.

Overall, besides a couple of minor issues, my friend and I had a great time here! I would love to come back if another band I liked preformed here!

Went there for a concert and got first row. Staff were organized and entry was quick (I bought VIP first entry so it was a breeze). The reason I gave it 2/5 is that the stage is high and I’m 5’5 and could see waist up from the performers because of the additional speakers they put up on the stage itself. To clarify— when I got to the barricade they weren’t there so I thought I had a perfect view of the stage but as we waited for everyone to get in and then the opening performers they added additional really tall speakers on top of the stage. Now I’m a bit short but I feel like I paid 400$ and waited in line to get a good view of the show and the expectation feel a bit short.

The sound system and everything else was great but that’s the one major complaint I have.

Echo Beach provided lots of amenities that most venues do not. The sound was great, I didn't feel like it was too loud or the opposite. There were food and drink vendors all along the walkway leading to the venue, as well as outdoor toilets off to the back. Merchandise was easily accessible and fair pricing. I enjoyed my show at RBC Echo Beach and will recommend it to my friends for a fun evening. Be prepared for lots of sunshine before the show begins! Get some water before you are situated for the show.

Had free passes from the soccer game. Lines were not too bad early, got busier as the day went on. Food building had lots of options and of course the 1.99 spaghetti! We took the train down, easy access right from the GO. Would definitely go back. They have refillable water stations around the grounds, bottles water was 5.80 up to over 7.00 so I would recommend packing some!

The exhibition, then known as the Toronto Industrial Exhibition, first took place in 1879, largely to promote agriculture and technology in Toronto and area. Agriculturists, engineers, and scientists exhibited their discoveries and inventions at the CNE. The event has since expanded to include a carnival, live music, parades, an air show, various entertainments, sporting events, as well as art displays and specialty vendors and foods. Special events include the Warriors' Day Parade, the Labour Day Parade and the Canadian International Air Show.

Went for CNE. much more spread out this year with noticeable vendors missing. Less sampling and prices used to start at $10 and continues to climb. Addition of banshell performances was nice. We miss all the buildings and things for kids to do that weren't rides. Grounds were pretty well kept.

How could you not love the CNE??!! It is a Toronto tradition. I have visited the CNE since I was a little girl. When my parents first moved to Canada they lived right across the street. They were introduced to the CNE before they had kids and then introduced us when we were kids and many years later I am now going to the CNE with my daughter.
I drove down because I know that I would be shopping. I parked at the Ender Care Center which was 45.00 during the week. I arrived at 11:00 a.m. and the traffic was not that bad. From the princess Gates on Lakeshore to entering the parking garage it was about 15 minutes. I bought my ticket on the website prior to the opening of CNE to save a couple bucks. Once you get to the parking garage you just scan the barcode on your ticket to enter. From the parking garage you have direct access to the enercare center where all the retailers are. I prefer this spot for convenience.
I absolutely love taking the day to walk the Enercare Center, the food building, the arts and farm exhibits. Its a great place to support independant retailers and try unique foods.
I enjoy the crowds, sounds of people enjoying rides and games. Music from the music stages and the sounds of the air birds practicing before their grand finale air show.
A great way to end the summer. I cannot wait to visit again next year!

You lost us when we arrived at 815pm and told valet is full. Have never stayed at a hotel where valet is full. No one helped us with luggage. Took 30 minutes to park and get back to hotel. Room 366 - room is small and bathroom is tiny. No water pressure in shower. Morning breakfast in gold level excellent. Hotel - great location. We get with an old hotel there is only so much you can do with rooms / bathrooms. But the poor service in valet and check in should be an easy win. Housekeeping excellent. Service within Gold excellent.Shouldn’t have to hike across the city the next morning to get valet - and even then had to wait 15 minutes to see if valet was now available.

We were in awe of the facility, but the people made the stay. They were friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The room was nice and my key requirements of a good shower and bed were met. I would have liked having a refrigerator and drawers for clothing; however, we were supplied with two luggage racks and robes. The room was very quiet. All and all, we would definitely stay again. Ottawa is a beautiful place to visit.

First time staying at this location and will likely be the last. Service was good and everyone was friendly. Location is nice but parking is an issue. The value for the cost is 0/5 ⭐️
The room was musty, no mini fridge, no bathroom fan and the ice machine on our floor was out of service for two days.
I’m sure there are many other nicer hotels for half the cost.

I stayed at the Château Laurier while in Ottawa for a Rolex appointment inside their jewlery store in the hotel, and at first I was very impressed. The property is beautiful, and during my stay I spent thousands of dollars, including meals at their restaurant. In 2 days Unfortunately, the way I was treated afterwards completely ruined my opinion.

Because my credit card was being replaced we did a balance transfer to a travel visa, I had a small $80 balance remaining. I explained this clearly, reassured them I would pay as soon as my new card arrived, and even offered alternative methods like debit payment, e-transfer or a certified cheque. Despite this, I received repeated and pressing messages with shifting “expiry dates” to settle the account.

For a guest who traveled for a luxury appointment in their hotel and spent generously during my stay, being treated with suspicion and essentially harassed over such a small balance was extremely disappointing. Instead of being met with trust and understanding, I was made to feel like I was trying to avoid payment, which couldn’t be further from the truth.

It’s sad, because I had looked forward to staying here again for future visits to Ottawa. But after this experience, I won’t be returning. A hotel of this reputation should know how to treat loyal guests with respect, not suspicion.

I stayed at the Fairmont Château Laurier for two nights and really enjoyed my time there. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Ottawa, walking distance to Parliament Hill, museums, and lots of shopping. The hotel itself is full of history, which makes the experience feel unique.

My room was clean but on the smaller side, which reflects the older, historic style of the hotel. Some rooms have amazing views of Parliament Hill, so it is worth asking about that. The overall ambiance feels luxurious and elegant.

The on-site bar and restaurant are lovely, though quite expensive, and the hotel also has a nice indoor saltwater pool. Parking is a challenge as valet service is very limited and was already full when we arrived, so the only option was to use nearby pay-as-you-go lots. There is also no airport shuttle service.

I did not feel that the staff went out of their way to make our stay feel special the way they have at other Fairmont locations, but overall I still enjoyed it. It is definitely on the pricey side depending on the time of year, but if you want history, luxury, and the best location for walking around Ottawa, it is hard to beat.

We like places with lots of history and this hotel fits the bill. Renovated interior with modern mood lighting in some places. Looks like a great location for a wedding but we only stayed for a few days for a vacation. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We often sat on the balcony overlooking Queen Street and watched the world go by while we ate breakfast. This place was fun, centrally located and interesting. We'll definitely head back there when we go back to Toronto!

It was a bit loud at times, but that comes with the central location and the hotel’s character.
Loved the gym and our corner room with lots of charm.
Receptionists were always super kind and helpful.
And yes – even the elevator had character. Loved it!

Came here for a wedding. Though I didn't stay in a room I did see one from someone who was staying. Very. Nice.

The outdoor patio area was so peaceful, despite being downtown it didn't feel loud at all. The food was pretty darn good (wish the portions were bigger!) especially for weddings.

The venue overall was cozy and intimate, very welcoming.

We stayed at The Gladstone for a week and it was delightful. All of the staff were extremely helpful and polite. We ate in the hotel restaurant most mornings and were often served by Jen, who was attentive and very friendly and able to give us recommendations for sightseeing, too. The room was very nice and the only issue really was the loud air-conditioner. I always travel with earplugs, though, so it wasn't a problem for me. There's a lot to see in this area and it's a pretty short rail car ride to St Lawrence Market et cet! There is plenty of local unique art displayed on all of the floors and in the rooms. The Hotel's interior design marries modern touches with its historic roots in a refreshing but familiar manner that makes for a beautiful combination. I'd recommend this hotel and restaurant to anyone.

We had our wedding at the Gladstone; a number of our guests stayed at the hotel, and we stayed on the night of our wedding. The venue was nothing but attentive and professional. The rooms were beautiful and clean, and the staff were extremely helpful and supportive. It is in one of our favourite neighbourhoods in Toronto, fairly accessible by car/transit, and close to all our favourite Queen West/Ossington restaurants. Would recommend to anyone as a wedding venue and a hotel stay!

I’ve been going to Greek fest since I was 3 years old. It’s changed so much over the years. I support my community and have told myself I’m going to get more involved next year. There were curtain things that were amazing about the old Greek fest. We need to bring back the rides for the children. The draw for a free trip to Greece was always a hit too. This year was hard because it was the first year back since COVID. But next year we go all out!!! We invited the theater so let’s give them a show!!!!

The annual Greek Festival is worth catching if you can. It usually runs for 10 days. The food is great and the entertainment is enjoyable.

Rented hall provided adequate screens for presentation and good audio. Facilities in good shape. Staff not intrusive but available.

Be careful with the food - check what others are eating and decide, some foods platters are not good at all.

We went there to see Alex Hughes, a superb night. As we had paid for tickets the staff were so attentive to find us the best table to see the show. Imagine how crazy busy this place can be, but our server didn't miss a beat all evening. Great sound quality, not too loud that we couldn't chat. I have 2 things to point out: 1) there are pillars that block the view, nothing they can do about that but be aware they are a real pain and 2) if you are at the back, near the entrance, your view will be minimal. Other than that, it's a terrific live music venue and we will be back! Oh, and great beers on tap too.

What’s changed in the kitchen?!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! I brought my hungry little wifey for brunch she usually eats a half a plate and she couldn’t stop and wanted to try all the things! Now I have to carry her to the car!

Went for brunch on a saturday, the menu was pretty limited and I didn't find much I was interested in.
The staff were very friendly and attentive. There was live music that day, and it was just the perfect volume. I hate going to places that just blast the music. But this musician was very talented and played at the perfect volume.

Absolutely love the Songsmith Sunday brunch! Wonderful music and such a great menu. This is our third time and we will be back.

Went to see The Diva Dynamics with my family, and boy howdy! Food was fab, the ambiance was immaculate, and the music was out of this world! Will definitely be back!

Came here for a wedding last weekend and the venue was absolutely gorgeous. Tight, intimate space with a large dance floor. 100% recommend. The drive up to it on the race track was also a very cool experience.

One of the Best event venue in the heart of Montreal.

We just had our wedding this past weekend and all we can say is WOW. This venue is one of the most gorgeous in all of Montreal, from the lighting, to the indoor design, to the architecture and of course, the garden. We have nothing but absolutely positive things to say about our experience with the rental managers. All of our guests were blown away by the atmosphere. If you are considering this place as a rental for an event - do it. We will remember our special day for a lifetime, and it happened flawlessly. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

There's a reason why this is one of the most sought after wedding venues in Montreal. It's so gorgeous, the setting is incredible - you feel like you're out in the country but through the trees you have this breathtaking view of the city. Parc Jean-Drapeau's staff are very attentive and helpful. It's well worth the cost to rent this space. It's unreal to think how many hundreds of thousands of people likely dined in that room during Expo 67, how many millions passed through the Canadian Pavilion, how many millions more walked around the site. It makes whatever event feel like a part of history. The Inuit art was striking and engaging too, and it created this remarkable contrast with the high modernism of the space which was 'linked' by the interior wood floors and finishings, and complemented by the natural settings outside. Old, new, antique, modern, rustic, urban - and all at the same time and in harmoney with one another. What could be more Montreal, Quebecois, and Canadian than that?

Horrible service and, more importantly, both parking attendents and their manager utterly lacking in empathy. Attended an event here and we had a guest in the party whose electric car needed a charge since nearest charger in the Casino was out of service and after driving around looking for charger they only had enough charge to drive 5 km. La Toundra refused to allow him to charge the car so it would not require a tow while being a guest at the event and told him that the charger is for employees only even though no employee was charging 10 pm two charger spots. And this was for a paying customer. At the end, this poor individual had his car towed as their battery ran out, their while two kids screamed in their baby seats, which lay on the side of the road while they waited for their cab at 10 pm. Quebec hospitality at its best.
