Judith was incredible from start to finish! We chose to have our ceremony in an open field that’s behind her building & it has a mini park, and she made everything flow so beautifully in the outdoor setting. My husband and I were married by Nick this past April at The Grand Hotel in Carleton Place. Nick had a zoom call with us just for us to meet him before we made our decision, which many others did not offer. It just took that call and we had to look no further. Cole did an amazing job officiating our elopement a couple weeks ago. We were blown away by how he thoughtfully integrated our favorite show, The Amazing Race, into his speech, personalizing it in such a meaningful way that reflected our journey and future together. I’ve been trying to find the words all week to thank Cole for officiating our wedding, so here goes.

If you’re looking for a boring, standard wedding ceremony, I know Cole would be able to create that for you, but you would be wasting his incredible talents. We had so many compliments on his work, and he made it seem like it was a friend of ours doing the ceremony.

Let me start with that I am speechless, I’m not even sure where to begin here.

Cole is literally the definition of the most perfect officiant.
The time and thought and customization he puts in to his ceremonies? Incomparable.
I mean this is the only time I’ve been married and the only time I plan to do it, but Cole stood out from the start, there was no other competition once I found him.
I honestly probably would have been prepared to change my wedding date had he not been available at that point.
Everyone raved about how amazing the ceremony was. I’m a nervous person and cried as soon as I started walking down the aisle. But the way Cole led the ceremony grounded me instantly, I felt so comfortable being up there and being able to focus in the moment with my now husband.
I lost my voice on my wedding day, but you wouldn’t have known with how smoothly the ceremony went because of Cole.
Cole, I don’t have the words to express my gratitude. Whenever we go ahead with a vow renewal I’ll be seeking you out, and of course I’ll be recommending you anyone that needs any officiant.

We would highly recommend Vinnie for your wedding day! She was extremely professional and made us feel super at ease. The best part was she really took the time to share our story, and add a bit of humour into the ceremony. From the very beginning (months before the ceremony) she was great to help us prepare for things we didn't even know about, and was even there for us afterwards to make sure we completed everything. It was a great day :)

Vinnie was wonderful. We didn't want to have a big fuss so selected the Opal Elopement Ceremony package. She was accommodating with her availability and for the actual ceremony/signing of all the paperwork she warmly invited us into her home office where the ceremony was conducted. Vinnie was the best! So helpful and professional. When we first met, she was so friendly and helpful. When we hired Vinnie, she was so organized and even sent us an entire package of materials with different ceremony templates and helpful resources. We were totally impressed and she helped us customize/personalize our ceremony completely. Then on the day of, she was perfectly on time and incredibly flexible. When things outside our control happened in the ceremony (elements not being set up by other parties, and bees swarming us outside) she perfectly transitioned as if nothing happened. When we made last minute changes the day before, she was on top of it and executed perfectly. It’s that level of expertise you need for your ceremony. No one attending even knew the difference or noticed, because she was just that smooth. Thank you Vinnie for joining us for life.

We are so grateful to have had Ken Cheung as our MC & officiant! He is trilingual (English, Cantonese, and Mandarin), which was an incredible asset for our families. He even translated our parents’ speeches (entirely on the spot; not word-for-word but with accuracy and care that perfectly conveyed the sentiment). This made such a difference in helping both sides feel included and connected!

Beyond his language skills, Ken brought so much energy and fun to the evening. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Dwayne was the absolute BEST. From the second we logged into our meet and greet zoom call, he was so charismatic, relaxed and we knew he was the one. He did a very thorough rehearsal and ensured that our ceremony went smoothly the next day. He put time into getting to know us to make sure our ceremony was representative of our personalities. He made everyone laugh and cry. It was heartfelt but not cheesy. It was funny but romantic at the same time (just what we asked for). We received amazing feedback from all family and friends.
