This venue was pretty much perfect. Stephane and their team were incredible and they made our guests feel so welcome. They were so professional, responsive during planning and were incredibly accommodating to our needs.

The catering team was great. The food and drinks were delicious. We highly recommend this venue.

Just had my wedding at the Westbury ballroom and honestly the entire day was perfect! The venue is gorgeous and includes a beautiful terrace that they open if the weather permits (we got lucky to have good enough weather in May)! The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, well fed and hydrated!! The food and service were excellent! Stephane was amazing from the start of our wedding planning to the very end!! Really glad to have had our wedding here! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

We had our son’s Bar Mitzvah yesterday and it was an amazing event thanks to the staff at Westbury ballroom. A special thanks to Stephane, Susie and Peter for their outstanding service and responsiveness to all our needs. The reception hall and set up was refined and elegant. Servers were top notch. Food catered by Brera was delicious. If you are looking for a place to host your next event, look no further.

We celebrated my daughter’s baptism at La Sirène, and it was absolutely beautiful. Nick was a great help in planning the event with me, ensuring everything was organized perfectly. Melanie, the chef d’équipe and server, made sure everything was done right and provided an excellent service with her team. The food was simply amazing, and everyone loved it! Beautiful place , we had attended my friend wedding, the parking is very small. We had to park like 5-7mins away so cautious . It wouldn't matter usually but it was raining that evening. Otherwise ,it would be a place we would attend again .

We were in the Community Space, in the back. The space could easily fit 60 people comfortable.

The mirror behind the stage is a genius idea - it expands the space, but also makes for some very cool photos since you can see the performer and the audience in the same frame.

Everything went smoothly, the staff was so helpful and accommodating.
The bar options were great, we got a lot of good feedback from attendees about the drink choices.

Erica was so helpful and supportive in working with me and my needs in order to make this a very successful event.

We hosted our Higher Self Soirée here and it was absolutely amazing! The space was stunning, the energy was perfect, and the team went above and beyond to make everything seamless!! Our guests were blown away. Highly recommend this venue for any event that calls for beauty, elegance, and great service!

We recently rented Society Clubhouse space for an event we organized and everything went smoothly. Both Erica and Jaime were very professional and friendly, always happy to answer any questions we had, they made sure we had everything we needed in order to make our event a success. During the evening, two staff members were there to take care of the bar, they were wonderful people.

The space itself is big and bright, and you can have a lot of people without feeling too crowded.

We highly recommend them!

Gorgeous community venue. Celebrated our daughter’s second birthday with friends and family. The staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful. They have two spaces, and we used the front room. Required very little decorating as the space is gorgeous, dog and kid-friendly!

We had our wedding here and it turned out perfectly. The views are stunning and the ceremony was so beautiful under the trees. The outdoor space was big enough to have the separate areas for the ceremony, a large area for cocktail hour on the lawn m, and a 40x40 tent set up. The inside of the building was perfect for our dance party, but would be a perfect place for dinner as well. The landscaping is beautiful as well which made the whole space look incredible. This place had everything we needed and Gabrielle was so easy to work with.

We recently had our wedding at the Southern Alberta Pioneers Memorial Building and it was the perfect venue! The rental rate for the whole weekend was so reasonable and made the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable as we had ample time for set up and clean up before and after the wedding. Gabrielle was so so helpful and able to answer any questions we had. We almost got rained out but the space provided the perfect backup plan in case we needed it. I would highly recommend this place as a venue for all sorts of events!

We had our wedding at the Pioneers building! It was incredibly magical. Gabrielle is amazing and helped make our day so special. What a hidden gem of a venue.

I had the privilege and honor to have my wedding at this establish in August 2019. Southern Alberta Pioneers Memorial Building is Calgary hidden gem (and I truly mean gem). I am third generation Calgarian and none of my family or I knew that this placed existed. The beauty of this building and its surrounding garden space will take anyone's breath away. All day all of our guest had came up to us and had to express how they were all blown away, and how incredible the venue was. We saw many of guest just take a moment with their loved ones to sit on one of the many benches and reflect with their loved ones. Just by seeing them sit there they were at true bliss, calm, relaxed.... just gazing at the view (from the mountains in the background to the elbow river just right below) a moment of true reflection and then they got up and walked away with a huge smile on their face. I can not thank Gabriella and her team enough. They are amazing, so easy to work with and so calming! Gabriella made everything so easy for us, and is extremely accommodating. If you are looking for a "wow" venue this is the place to go!

Oh my! The second we stepped foot onto the property we knew this was our venue. We meet Steve the owner upon arrival of the tour and we booked just over a year and a half to our wedding date.
We had the best experience with everyone we came accross leading right up to the morning after the wedding. We had the best day I could ever dream of. Our family and friends did not have one bad thing to say.
We were so happy with the experience we had, during the wedding our bus did not make the trip back to the hotel and Steve and day of coordinator reassured us there is time we can wait for the group to come in cabs. They suggested another plan but people were already in cabs!
During dinner was amazing ran so smoothly, and food was amazing. All the allergies we had not one problem. I checked in with the ladies who had allergies they said it was amazing.
I could not say one bad thing about the place. Yes the price is a shock at first my dad was like are you sure. But once he saw the place and walked around he understood the price of the wedding. But honestly if you want a small wedding and want a place that may not care go for it. If you want a place that feels like home, rustic but classy, this is your venue😊

Stonefields was absolutely our dream wedding venue. We had seen so many venues before finally finding Stonefields and we were immediately taken by its beauty. But what really won us over was their incredible team. Chef Angela was extremely accommodating to our requests and the steak blew us away! The servers were so sweet to all our guests and even joined us in singing “lean on me” at the end of the night which was so special. The biggest shoutout though has to go to Steve! Everything he did was above and beyond from the first day we met till the day of the wedding. He really does wear multiple hats and is extremely confident and competent in the way he makes sure the day goes perfectly. From organizing the floor plan exactly as I requested, to helping our MC’s with the set up, to making sure no alcoholic drinks were displayed as we requested, to bringing us a small grazing station as we were taking our private pictures, to coordinating our schedule on the day of and moving some tables at the end of the night to make sure we have a dance floor. He truly removed a mental load from us and took over all the minute planning on the day of. He did all of this with a smile and while being incredibly present to our requests. Thank you all so much for making our day magical! I couldn’t recommend Stonefields more if you want a stress free and gorgeoussss wedding day!

We had such an incredible experience at Stonefields and can’t thank the team enough—especially Angie and Steve! From our first interaction to the big day, they were amazing to work with. On the wedding day itself, they made sure everything ran smoothly and were flexible and quick to adjust the schedule so we could make the most of every moment.
Their professionalism was outstanding, but what really stood out was how warm, genuine, and human they were. They made us feel completely taken care of, and we knew we were in great hands.

My husband and I got married here early May 2023 and it really was a perfect day. I loved that Stonefields gives you the option of an indoor and outdoor venue in light of Ottawa's tricky weather and both options are just gorgeous. Not a lot of extra decor needed because it was so beautiful to begin with. The grass was green and lush. The staff were responsive and attentive, catering to our needs, quick to respond via email. As the bride I felt so relaxed the day of, the staff making sure I was fed through the day and saving my food when I was busy talking to guests! Our day-of coordinator guided us through every step of the wedding, making sure things were running smoothly and on time. Since we had a dry wedding, the staff were so flexible in removing all alcohol bottles from the bar display. They even let us create our own custom mocktail menu, which was super cute giving each drink a unique name. The food was incredible. We had an awesome bonfire in the evening. We had about 150 people at our wedding and that felt a bit cozy, but it was still really wonderful. A few items of feedback were that some guests didn't get as many hors d'oeuvres when passing them around. Also the coordinator we were chatting with through the planning phase didn't up being our day of coordinator so it took some re-explaining to review the plan of the wedding closer to the date. Ultimately with Stonefields, you're paying for comfort and ease, which is how my husband and I really felt the day of our wedding. It was unforgettable and we thank Stonefields for their wonderful service! Our wedding day really did feel spiritually uplifting and this venue really contributed to that beautiful spirit.

I can only speak about this venue from the perspective of a wedding guest. But let me tell you, the nicest wedding venue I have been to. All aspects and areas of the venue are beautiful, well maintained and well designed.

The food was top notch. The liquor choice was great. All in all I don't have any negatives about this venue.

This is a private members only facility, but if you are looking to become a member we are enjoying it! So far we have only participated with a younger age group, so my review may be different that older kids and adults.

Physically the track and space is well-maintained. Everyone takes care of the spaces around the park, and the track area is kept clean and in good condition. Recently replaced, and forward thinking in things like water mitigation and maintenance. There are bleachers for spectators and a covered area with picnic tables. Lots of garbage cans to contain waste and recyclables (but please take your trash when you leave).
Rules and regulations are very clearly laid out, between Canadian policies applied here as well as additional club-specific rules, everything is available online. We haven't participated in race events but see emails communicating detailed event-specific rules as required too. Safety is taken seriously.
Security is also maintained, protecting everyone's investment. Communication about how to access, who is allowed where, and when there are issues how they’re being handled.

From a specifically kid kart perspective, we are so impressed with how that is being managed. The parents running it make efforts to keep everything fair and transparent, but also have a great eye on the kids themselves to sort them for skill, safety, and even when & how to get remedial help when needed. Gathering for a group dinner is really nice to keep kids social and energy in check.

So much fun. Club is really well organized, instructors are knowledgeable and helpful. Bring a family member.

Today was one of the best days for my grandson, the staff are exceptional and wonderful with kids!! What an experience for my grandson and we will be back in 2 weeks on his birthday!!! He cannot wait to go back....thank-you to all the staff for such an amazing day....see you soon!!

We went here to do the try a kart for our 7 and 10 yr old.

Fantastic experience all around. The facility and staff are top notch and everyone there loves what they do.

My kids had never done anything like this before but there was no pressure and the team were very encouraging.

I would encourage anyone to give this a try for a great intro to Karting. Everyone goes above and beyond and we hope to be back again.

The Try A Kart program they have for kids as young as 5 is awesome. My son had a great time, the volunteers are wonderful.

My Husband and I were married here on February 1 and I cannot express how amazing of an experience we had. Everyone was so kind, every detail was perfect, communication was fantastic, and everyone made sure that my Husband and I were taken care of every step of the way.

Everyone we interacted with was amazing and it makes my heart so happy we had such a fantastic group behind us during our day. We used many of the recommended vendors and WOW they do not joke around. On top of Venue 308 we had spectacular vendors and our day was seamless.

We had our wedding at Venue 308 on August 17 and both wanted to post a review because our experience was so, so excellent. In addition to being a beautiful space, this venue boasts a team of event professionals who went above and beyond to make our day perfect. Communication leading up to the day was seamless and prompt, with lots of opportunities to amend our contract along the way (adding and removing services as our plan evolved). We opted to include month-of coordination through the venue, provided by Sarah Schmidt, who was an angel and a pro and a delight to coordinate with. She made the day itself run so smoothly that we could just enjoy ourselves knowing she had things handled behind the scenes. Everyone we interacted with up to and on the day was helpful, kind, and knowledgable (so many thanks to Chris, Amanda, Andrea, Seb, and Caro) - they could have done half as much as they did and still would have fulfilled the terms of the contract. The Venue offers a list of recommended vendors (so helpful!) but does not penalize you if you choose others (much appreciated!), in addition to offering an in-house decor package rental that is worth it if you use as much of their stuff as possible.
Thank you to the team for everything, we had the best time and appreciated every kindness along the way.

We had our wedding at Venue308 a few weekends ago, and it was incredible! The space is beautiful, and the extra room we rented for the cocktail hour was perfect for the 85 guests we had. The staff was amazing, from the months leading up to the actual day. Our day of coordinator, Jody, did an absolutely amazing job! She was so great to work with, covered all the bases and made sure everything came together perfectly! Our 50 person wedding reception at Venue308 last summer was a dream. When I first walked through the venue I immediately knew it was the venue for us. It is so beautiful and unique in the details & incredibly well thought out spaces.

The bridal and groom suite are just so cool and made for such a great getting ready process. I love that they’re on different floors of the venue so we could both be there without seeing each other.

The planning process was made easy by the streamlined systems Venue308 has in place. I loved using the digital floor plan to plan where all the decor and seating would go. The ability to use the venue’s decor was a major selling point for me as it eliminated needing to add in an additional vendor.

All of the staff we worked with over the lengthy planning process were incredibly accommodating and flexible - even with multiple date changes due to COVID. We felt so taken care of and it really changed the expectations we had for customer service from other vendors!

Our wedding day was perfect in this stunning space, all of our guests just loved it. I will forever recommend this venue to everyone.

I had my wedding a couple weeks ago and I just wanted to take a moment to shout out the entire team at Venue 308, it is truly a beautiful space.
One of the features that sold it for us is there is getting ready areas for both bride and groom within the same building. You can have your ceremony and reception there, which makes it so much easier for everyone! They also offer a decor package at a fixed price, and you’re able to use anything from their inventory. This was so helpful cause they have basically everything you need, from arches, to variety of table numbers, to tea light candles its very extensive and honestly worth it! We only had to use minimal items of our own.
The entire team at the venue is so awesome, and offers exceptional service! They were very helpful, and was there with me every step in the planning process. They also just opened up a new event space right beside this venue and we were able to rent it for photo’s at a very reasonable rate, it would also make a great cocktail area. They truly think of every detail here, and we can’t recommend them enough! We are looking for a reason to book another event here cause it was the best day ever!

We booked White Shield Banquet Hall for our wedding reception after seeing them on an Instagram ad, and I’m really glad we did. From the start, I met with Kasun and Chef T who walked me through their packages. I initially planned to just rent the space (since we had outside catering), but after seeing the venue—especially the bricked wall space—I fell in love and decided to go with their full package including food, decor, and the venue. Pricing was very reasonable too.

What made things even easier was being introduced to Grace, who handled most of the coordination. Being able to communicate in Tagalog helped a lot, and I really appreciated her patience with all my questions, changes, and even working around my on-the-day wedding coordinator.

Unfortunately, due to an unexpected fire at the restaurant beside the hall, we weren’t able to use the original venue. But the White Shield team was quick to respond and helped us relocate to Renaissance by the Creek. The new venue was also beautiful and spacious, and the entire White Shield team still took care of everything—from food to decor. They did an amazing job recreating our decor inspo photos, especially the sweetheart table! The food was delicious and the service was excellent—our guests had plenty of space to dance and enjoy the night.

While I’m still a little sad we didn’t get to use the hall I initially fell in love with, I truly believe everything worked out the way it was meant to. Huge thanks to Kasun, Chef T, and Grace for pulling everything together and making our wedding unforgettable.

We had our engagement party at WhiteShield Banquet Hall in the Brick Room with about 210 guests, and it was honestly perfect. The space looked beautiful, the staff were super helpful and attentive, and everything ran so smoothly. From the setup to the food and service, they made the whole night stress-free. Our guests had a great time and we got so many compliments on the venue. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special day!

I've been to this hall once before and loved it and so we hosted a big get together in the Hazel hall. This was the first experience I had organizing a huge scale event and let me tell you kasun the manager at Whiteshield banquet hall was the reason why it was a breeze! He was so patient with my 101 questions and concerns and was always ready to help even to the very last day! The food was excellent!! All of the 160 guests who came for the event couldn't stop complimenting the food!! We chose the Srilankan menu with late night hoppers and it was just everything we hoped for and more. The staff were kind and hospitable the DJ is great! Honestly this place is going to be a staple for hosting parties. Job well done team at Whiteshield banquet hall!! Until next time:)

My husband and I got married at At the Schoolhouse on May 24 2025, and Isabela and the rest of the staff delivered a magical and unforgettable evening. As the bride, I felt overwhelmed at the prospect of organizing a whole wedding, and this venue relieved most of that pressure! They handled the ceremony, the reception, the food, the bar, the decorations, and even sourced flowers for my bouquet! They got us in touch with a wonderful officiant, and they asked us questions about our preferences that we hadn’t even considered!
I am so grateful to have had Isabela’s help in bringing everything together – I can’t imagine doing it all by myself! The website was a bit clunky at times, but it was so helpful to have a system for the RSVPs and the seating chart.

We had an amazing experience working with the At The Schoolhouse team. My husband and I live in the UK and wanted to travel back home for a small wedding with our closest friends and family. We were recommended to At The Schoolhouse and it was exactly what we were looking for. They really take care of everything, the only thing we had to do was sort out a photographer and send wedding invitations. They do literally everything else! Living abroad and not having to think about decor, flowers, food, or cake was a dream.

They have great packages to choose from and we opted for the "Angel of the Morning" brunch package. Once that was all set, we got access to an online planning portal where we could share ideas and select items for our wedding. I could rattle on and on about how easy the planning process was.

Overall, everything was absolutely perfect. The officiant is lovely, the food and drink was delicious, the setting was perfect. Everything felt so personal and the team took care of us so well.

My fiance (now wife!) and I live out West, but wanted to get married near Ottawa as much of our family live near here and it would be easier for our older family members to have our big day near them rather than making them travel.

As we would be so far away, we wanted to find a venue that could handle the planning and the setup for us, and At the Schoolhouse delivered exactly what we were hoping for. Izabella was very helpful in getting everything ready and helping to make sure we were ready for our wedding.

On the day we couldn't have been happier. The venue looked amazing, they were very helpful and accommodating for all of our needs, the ceremony went great, the food was delicious, everyone had a wonderful time. The place is small and intimate but with more than enough space to not feel crowded. The event was perfect from start to finish and the staff did a great job of making sure everyone was well tended to.

My wife and I celebrated our 24th Anniversary at the Schoolhouse in Munster. I contacted them a few days prior to confirm reservations and asked if they had could have some Champagne for us. They pulled through with shining colors. Delicious Champagne, amazing food. Incredible service. Very cozy, we were seated on the balcony. My wife gets cold easily, and she was very thankful how warm and cozy it was. A wonderful evening. I highly recommend you take your loved one out for a special evening. Thank you so much to the hosts, you gave us a special anniversary night that is at the very top of our list.

I'm a musician and I was performing at a party for my friend! The hall was big and luxurious. The sound was good, no noise. Only the electrical inputs were old and in need of repair.

Hosted a conference at Kin Experience last November and my organization team and I really appreciated the timely responses from Max. The venue itself is charming and holds every amenity needed for snack bars as well as chairs and tables for guests. They were really flexible in terms of letting us set us and cleaning out too which helped the event go smoothly. This is a venue we will definitely keep in mind for next time! Thank you again!

InvestOttawa and few startups are there. Lot of startup events happen sponsored by all 3 levels of government.

Beautiful space that felt welcome and yet cool with water bottle refilling and great light / airy feel. It was a nice place to hang out in.

The training with instructor David is not so clear and precise about his teaching. He is professional in his field but his teaching aspect needs to be improved, he just zoom through his teaching.

It's a good place to host medium-sized events.

The Crestmont was the perfect venue for our wedding! The overlooking balcony and natural lighting coming through the windows provided a nice contrast to the indoor space. Neha (event coordinator) was very helpful and communicative. We made use of the Hall’s site-provided bartender, and audio and projector equipment. We could have also made use of the grass space down below, but we didn’t need it for our event. Overall, the space was perfect for our needs and I would definitely recommend the Crestmont Hall to someone looking for a wedding venue or general event venue.

LITTLE STARS DAY CARE

The "Little Stars" Day Care operates from Monday to Friday, between 7 AM and 7 PM. They utilize the basement space for most activities, while also hosting activities in the main hall. The daycare is a vibrant part of the facility, offering structured activities in a safe and spacious environment.

OUTDOOR FEATURES

One of the highlights of the venue is its stunning view overlooking the storm water reservoir. A scenic hiking trail runs behind the Crestmont building along the reservoir, providing a peaceful spot for a walk. The trail ends at an emergency access road off of the Trans Canada Highway, which is sealed off for emergency vehicles only, ensuring safety and privacy.

PARKING

The parking lot is conveniently located, offering plenty of space for visitors and easy access to the building.

We had our wedding at Crestmont Hall this past weekend, and it could not have been more perfect. The tables were set out for us in advance and the employees were incredibly helpful and accommodating. From ceremony to cocktail hour to reception everything was perfect. We wanted a venue that was affordable where we could bring our own alcohol and decorate as we wanted and Crestmont hall fit the bill exactly! I would reccomend this venue to anyone looking to really make their wedding space their own! It was perfect!

Very beautiful and accommodating venue! We had a wedding of 145 and made the space work! Balcony was great and added lots of extra space. Ensure you get door code prior to event date so you have access to building on time.

Me and my wife had a nice wedding ceremony at Crestmont. The staff at Crestmont such as Neha were nice to deal with. The balcony was a favourite for our guests during sunset, and everyone was enjoying their time taking photo’s there. The outdoor space was also nice and we had a beautiful ceremony

When we started looking for a venue for our wedding, many other places we contacted gave us boilerplate service, some even forgetting about our scheduled meetings. This was not the case when it came to Entrepots Dominion. Alexandre runs the show and was friendly and collaborative from our first contact with him. We easily arranged a meeting to go over what l'Entrepot could offer. We were impressed with the candor and professionalism shown by Alex as he guided us through the process of putting together the wedding of our dreams. He remained realistic and focused on achieving our goals and was able to connect us to his trusted vendors. All of his recommendations, including rentals, catering & DJ service were able to provide a great wedding packages at very competitive prices. Whatever questions we had, Alex had an answer. I don't think we ever heard his voicemail message because he answered the phone every time we needed to contact him. Though you don't expressly need to take on Alex as your coordinator, the guy is an event planning machine and someone you'll want on your team when you're trying to make sure everything is exceptional for the big day. Our entire guestlist raved about the food, bartending, service, music and staff professionalism. We had a schedule down to 5 minute intervals and Alex kept us on pace the entire night so nothing we planned for was missed and everything flowed smoothly. It all came out exactly as we wanted and we have to credit Alexandre and Entrepot Dominion for helping us craft a day we'll never forget.

Great location for a small event. Intimate space in a great location with many nearby amenities. There is a great little cafe and patisserie right outside the entrance. It also has an entrance from inside the horticultural centre. Sis and I attended the ottawa film career fair( sis is a budding web series creator) and we really had a great time. I was not discovered so I will try a soda fountain maybe nearby.

Wonderful venue for rollerskating events I attend. Nice washrooms, there's a little restaurant attached and the building is a good temperature even in winter.

GlobalFest's first event with HECKYA started with Fire On The Lake 2020 in Lakewood of Strathmore. During the height of a global pandemic, that shut down live Canada Day celebrations across the nation, GlobalFest in partnership with HECKYA, produced the largest live Canada Day Pyromusical Presentation in Western Canada. To help our audiences (who all stayed in their homes) in Strathmore, Calgary, across the nation and internationally, we had cameras mounted in a helicopter, on drones and land-based cameras capturing the show for livestreaming and then for a post-production video, which you can see today at the HECKYA website. We've done more pyromusical aerial fireworks shows since for live and streamed audiences and have a massive schedule of upcoming events. Scott and his crew are high energy, creative, solution creators, and definitely out-of-the-box event producers. We look forward to working with them on a number of exciting upcoming events. We had the pleasure of attending a seminar at the Lodge of Queen Place, located on Queen Street West, and it was a truly memorable experience. The venue is a beautiful mix of artistic charm and contemporary design, making it perfect for both professional events and special celebrations.

The atmosphere is rich with character – blending a sense of nostalgia with creative, modern touches. Each space within the lodge is thoughtfully designed, offering a unique visual experience that sparks inspiration. The environment feels warm and welcoming, encouraging both focus and creativity.

One thing to note is that the venue features some sharp and narrow stairs, which may require extra attention, especially for guests with mobility concerns. It’s something to consider when planning events with a diverse group of attendees.

Despite that, the overall experience was excellent. The staff were kind, professional, and ensured everything went smoothly. The Lodge of Queen Place stands out not just as a location, but as an experience in itself. For anyone looking to host a seminar, celebration, or artistic event in a distinctive and memorable setting, this place on Queen Street West is a fantastic choice.

We had our wedding here in May and had an unforgettable time! We fell in love with this place at once. The quirky, eclectic decor really spoke to us and we knew instantly that this would be the venue. The most important factor for us was the ease and simplicity of planning.

Fortunately, the venue came with the best day-of event coordinator ever, Anna! From the very beginning, she made the whole process very simple. We just made the big choices (timeline, food options, DJ, extra decorations, and guest list) and she handled the rest. She shared in our excitement and we felt supported right up until the end of our night; everything that we needed, she took care of!

We ended up choosing the vegan dim sum station for our dinner station and it was phenomenal! Everything was made in-house and we wish that we ate more! All of the staff were professional and enthusiastic. We highly recommend this venue and Anna to anyone looking for an intimate and stress-free wedding!

We loved the venue as soon as we walked in – it has a great vibe – comfortable, and yet very elegant. We were tasked with finding a “cool venue” to host a high school prom, and after a long search – Lodge on Queen was the perfect fit.

We were even more impressed by the venue after meeting and chatting with Anna, the Event Planner there. She is so friendly and easy to work with – and had SO many great ideas that we incorporated into our event.

On the night of, we then got to meet the rest of Anna’s team and they were incredible! Super professional and helpful - we just showed up with bags of event gear and food – and they all immediately got to work right away knowing what to do! We did not have to do or explain a thing- they instinctively knew what to do. We felt like everything was completely well in hand the whole time.

Anna, her team, and the Chef were so organized, having everything timed down to the minute – which I was super impressed with and grateful for. The event went perfectly from beginning to end.

Anna even sewed one of our guests’ dresses back together right in the middle of the event – super impressive!!

The students are still talking about how great the venue was, and how amazing the whole evening was – and that is high praise from teenagers!

A big thank you to Anna and her team for a truly memorable night – we will not hesitate to book an event again here in the future.

I've got nothing but good things to say about Lodge on Queen after photographing an anniversary party there last fall.

Anna and her staff were on top of things from the moment I arrived until I left 4 hours later - between fulfilling my requests, as well as my clients and their guests. They also never seemed to slow down on the super tasty hors d'oeuvres being brought out for the guests.

What really captured my attention at Lodge on Queen was the look of the space. This venue has it all for the beautiful rustic loft look. Wooden floors, exposed brick, stained glass and walls covered in stunning art work. Even the furniture selection was very tastefully done.

All in all, I highly recommend this venue for anyone to looking for a place to host their event or wedding. You really can't go wrong.

Amazing!! The space was as beautiful as expected and was the exact right vibe for the wedding we were looking for.
Anna and Shandra were on top of everything and made sure that all of our guests (and us!) had the best night and that everything went as planned.
On top of that, the food and service from the staff was top notch. Our guests were raving the whole night about how great the food was. Great experience all around and I am looking forward to an excuse to have another event at the Lodge on Queen again.

I had my wedding here this past August and it was truly the most quaint and perfect venue.
We worked closely with Myra and Alyssa with meetings to figure out all the details for the day of, and they were so helpful throughout the whole process and communicative.

The venue itself is stunning, from the ceremony spot, to the lovely cocktail patio, and stunning tented reception spot.
The property is a large size, allowing guests to roam about and enjoy all the greenery and gardens. It was the perfect backdrop for our wedding photos!

The minute I toured Miller Lash, I knew right away it would be the perfect place for the size of wedding ceremony I had in mind. Super convenient and accessible location, beautiful natural backdrops in the middle of the city, lovely house to get dressed in with old school charm, very reasonably priced, and at my alma mater - UofT. Could only hope the weather would be perfect and the place available for the day we had in mind.
We had a fantastic experience with Alyssa and Myra from planning through to execution on the day of. They were far more prepared and organized than me (the bride lol), but super patient and understanding as well. All of our guests, especially those from out of town or visiting Toronto for the first time, could not stop talking about the day and the location! Thank you so much Miller Lash team, for allowing us to have our dream wedding ceremony and being so accommodating. Would not have changed a thing!!

The venue has a real rustic look and interesting bricks and beautiful scenery. We came here for a wedding and while the venue was beautiful and the staff was tentative and nice, there's a few things that fell short. The ceremony was outdoors in a big open space but the steep hill wasn't the friendliest to walk down especially for the elderlies with walking canes, and even guests who were wearing high heels. It's quite slanty. During the cocktail hour, the venue ran out of food within the hour, half the guests didn't even get any appetizers and a lot of people were hungry. Some parents even went out to bring food back for their children. There was no shortage of alcohol for the guests during cocktail but they ran out of non-alcoholic drinks really fast and had no juices for the children. The reception was outside in a big white tent, and that was fun. Note they don't have a kitchen at the venue so all the dinner food had to be catered and it is reheated for the guests. They had 2 female stalls for in the main washroom and 3 stalls outside at the reception area, which 1 was broken. For the males, there's only 1 stall and 1 urinal in the main building, but sure about the outdoors. It kind of felt there wasn't washrooms for the size of guests. Long wait times to go to the washroom. Otherwise, beautiful location for pictures, and the staff was delightful.

I would highly recommend Miller Lash House. This venue is absolutely breathtaking! The lush evergreens, as the backdrop of our outdoor ceremony, was gorgeous. There is plenty of outdoor space to capture the most beautiful photos. Inside the tent was like a blank canvas that allowed us to bring our wedding vision to life. I had a wonderful experience working with Jennifer. She made the planning process easy and enjoyable! It was a perfect day :)

The Miller Lash Estate is nestled in the picturesque valley of Highland Creek. The area is surrounded by nature and the venue is home to unique functions and popular with wedding receptions. Well kept with gardens and an arts and craft style estate this is a unique place.

Excellent place to host your event. Jacqueline is so kind. Is always accessible when you need here. I have had two event there and looking forward for all future events.

I can recommend booking the place, the host is really really nice and she is flexible with changes and request. The hall is big enough for wedding or biryhday parties. I rented it for my brother’s birthday party and it was amazing, the only problem was that there is no air condition so it was super hot and people where going outside but rather than that the place is ideal for parties as it has no neighbours who can complain for noises.
