I can’t even begin to put into words how incredible this team of lovely people are. They made all of our wedding dreams come true with ease, grace and thoughtfulness. All of worries were solved before they could become a rolling ball of stress. All of our guests were in awe of the simple beauty and attention to detail. To say we loved our day is an understatement. I can not recommend them enough.

BEST DATE OF MY LIFE! I planned a surprise date for my special person while we were vacationing in the Banff area. WOW- did Amanda deliver! We arrived to the most beautiful picnic, perfectly set up with everything you could dream of! I can’t recommend this experience enough- you will forever have the most beautiful memories of a unique and romantic experience!

Had the most lovely experience with Amanda and her team! They handled every detail and made it look even more beautiful than I hoped for!!! Highly recommend- it was our favorite night of the whole trip!

Cannot recommend Captivating Occasions enough! We hired Lexine and Amanda as our day of coordinators and they made everything before and during our wedding so fun and so much less stressful. They go through every detail you can think of about 3 months out and it really helps you gauge where you’re at with planning. Day of they took care of everything from logistics to making our reception venue decor dreams come true. Also be sure to check out River Rock Retreat which is their wedding venue (we had our ceremony here) and it was absolutely perfect!! Amanda and Lexine are single handedly responsible for the stress free wedding day that my husband and I were able to enjoy. We spent a year planning our day and Captivating Occasions was right there to provide guidance all along the way. The spreadsheet that these two put together to keep our wedding day on track was so appreciated by not only us but all our vendors. Amanda and Lexine ran our rehearsal, set up our decor, ran our wedding day and came back late in the evening to take everything down and pack up. As the Bride and Groom we truly didn't have to worry about a thing all day and not to mention our parents and bridal party were also able to fully enjoy the day. Amanda and Lexine created a group chat with us and were available for questions leading up to the wedding, and also sent us a bunch of behind the scenes pictures and videos from the day of which was an unexpected surprise. We would recommend these two for any event!

We had such an incredible dining experience at Joey Restaurant in Toronto! From the very beginning, the service stood out. A special thank you to Evy, who made everything seamless — from arriving she provided us with super attentive, friendly service throughout the evening.

The food was outstanding and exceeded expectations. We started with the Wagyu beef carpaccio, which was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The grilled wild cod with almonds and basil rice was perfectly balanced in flavor, light yet satisfying. The chicken cutlets salad with mango was fresh, vibrant, and full of texture, while the beef sirloin steak was cooked to absolute perfection — tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor.

Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and the quality was second to none. Combined with the warm and professional service, it made for an unforgettable dinner.

Highly recommend Joey Restaurant for anyone looking for excellent food, a welcoming atmosphere, and top-notch service. I wish to say we will be coming back! But we are just visiting Canada as tourists…

I can’t say enough good things about Joye Bar! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was just perfect — modern, stylish, and full of good energy. The place is beautifully designed and has such a cozy yet lively vibe that makes you want to stay for hours.

The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Service was smooth and fast without ever feeling rushed.

I came here with my colleagues to celebrate a birthday. We were seated on time and the service was really great! Inside was freezing so we asked if we could move to the patio and they found us a nice table outside.

The food was great! I got the Chicken Parmesan and I enjoyed it a lot. My colleagues also enjoyed their meals. We also enjoyed our drinks (classic and spicy strawberry margaritas).

I had a good time here. Lovely service, ambience, and food.

What a great atmosphere. Tons of room, open kitchen, indoor vegetation in a modern and chic decor.
Service was great and the food was also delicious. We had chicken satay skewers, fresh guacamole, truffle fries, chicken wings, sushi, tuna club and chicken lettuce wraps.

A Caesar with no ice meant that they only filled the already-small glass half way.
The strawberry shaved ice had a flavour that all who tried it didn’t like.

We just spent the last four days in Toronto for the Teamsters Women’s Conference, and last night, we had an incredible dinner at Joey’s Restaurant with a group of friends from Local 213. What a fantastic evening! Our waitress was an absolute star—super attentive, friendly, and took great care of our large party. The food was phenomenal, especially the blackened chicken meal and crab dip, which were standouts among so many delicious dishes. The lively atmosphere was perfect for our get-together, making it a night to remember. Highly recommend Joey’s for anyone visiting Toronto!

What a perfect break from the highway. Had a soup, sandwich, butter horn and a lavender lemonade for lunch. Then picked up a London Fog for the road.

What a cute little cafe! It’s hard to find places in smaller towns like this that have vegan and gluten free options. I had the Pri Pri bowl and the lady in the back even came out and offered to make a vegan gf cupcake for me. Wonderful people and delicious food!

I feel like I rarely feel a restaurant deserves 5 stars but our family lunch today was perfect. My breakfast wrap was amazing! Everyone’s lunch was delicious and so were the coffees, cookies, and cupcakes.

Had an amazing time at The Chef Upstairs. Had the pleasure of making a Mexican cuisine. The staff made it really fun and an enjoyable experience cooking with strangers. Loved the atmosphere as well as all the little fun facts that the Chef was throwing at us while we were all cooking. Will definitely try out another experience in the future.

I had the best time at The Chef Upstairs for their “Spring in Italy” cooking class! I went with a group of friends, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences we’ve had. The atmosphere was fun, welcoming, and full of laughs and the food? Incredible.

The recipes we made were delicious, but the standout for me was the mushroom salad. Who knew something so simple could taste that elevated? Every dish was a total win.

Chef Matt was fantastic, knowledgeable, engaging, and so easy to follow. Hollie and the rest of the team were equally amazing, keeping everything running smoothly and making sure we were all having a great time.

If you're looking for a unique and hands-on foodie experience with friends, this class is a must.

I attended the La Casa Mexicana class at the Midtown location and had a great experience! The chef and host were very welcoming and knowledgeable, supporting us throughout the night. The other attendees were also warm and friendly, which made for a great atmosphere. I learned a lot during the class, and the food we prepared was delicious. I'm definitely looking forward to taking another class in the future! Highly recommend!

Excellent evening with Chef Obi and Assistant Bonnie at the Indian Cooking lesson!!! They are knowledgeable, skilled, accommodating, and super fun! Learned how to make fresh crisp Samosas, Nan, Palak Paneer, Butter Chicken, and Chai Tea Creme Brûlée, all from scratch! Highly recommend for anyone who likes to cook!

We celebrated our anniversary with the “Bold Flavours of Mexico” class and it was an amazing time!! Chef Adamo and Holly were both so welcoming and made the experience fun and easy for everyone! The environment was great and the food was even better!! We will definitely be coming back for another class!

We held our wedding at Fare Food and had a wonderful experience! The venue was gorgeous, food was incredible, and service was perfect. We had regular communications with Spencer and Tosh in the months leading up to our wedding and were able to discuss all of the details around menu, decor, operations, etc. They were incredibly professional and easy to work with, making the planning phase more fun and less stressful. The canapés and dinner were spectacular - our guests said it’s the best food they’ve had at a wedding (and in general) and everyone was stuffed by the end of dinner. Cocktails were delicious and the bartenders and service team were really on point.

Would highly recommend working with Tosh and Spencer if you want your guests to really enjoy the food and drinks.

We recently held our intimate wedding reception at the Fare Food Co. and absolutely loved the experience. From the first message, Spencer and Tosh were incredibly responsive and made the planning process super easy. They were also a lot of fun to work with, and were very easy-going.

They helped create our custom 4-course dinner menu with canapes. We were really impressed with how accommodating they were of dietary restrictions, creating personalized alternate dishes for several guests. The food was AMAZING - all of our guests raved about how delicious everything was. It was definitely a highlight of our wedding day! The staff were extremely professional and attentive - definitely at the caliber of a high-end restaurant. The space itself is gorgeous, spacious, and looks fantastic with minimal décor. Such a hidden gem in downtown Toronto!

The Fare Food Co – A Graduation to Remember

I recently had the pleasure of celebrating my partner's law school graduation at The Fare Food Co, accompanied by a small group of close friends and family — and I can confidently say it was one of the most seamless and memorable evenings we’ve experienced.

From the first point of contact, the team was incredibly professional and accommodating. Tosh and Spencer, the chefs and primary coordinators, were a joy to communicate with. They ensured that every detail of the evening — from the setup of the event space to the menu customization — was handled with care and precision. We had a few guests with dietary restrictions, and they went above and beyond by thoughtfully curating the pasta course to accommodate allergies without compromising on flavor or creativity.

Now let’s talk about the food: The three-course meal was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish was beautifully presented and layered with flavor, showcasing the chefs' talent and attention to detail. The olive oil poached salmon was delicate and balanced, and the milk bun with honey, thyme, and cultured butter was a warm, comforting highlight. For the pasta course, both the Lobster Cavatelli and the wild mushroom Cavatelli Pasta were crowd favorites — rich, inventive, and plated like artwork. The evening culminated in a perfectly cooked Wagyu Beef Striploin that paired wonderfully with the charred broccoli and king oyster mushrooms.

Jessica, our bartender for the night, also deserves a special mention. She was warm, attentive, and kept the atmosphere lively with her great energy and perfectly crafted drinks.

All in all, The Fare Food Co delivered an experience that was not only delicious but deeply personal and memorable. I’d recommend them to anyone looking to host a special occasion — their attention to detail, culinary excellence, and genuinely kind staff set them apart.

I booked the Garrett for our holiday work party and it was one of the best nights of the year. The staff and team made the planning so easy and I was so impressed with the level of attention to detail. It was incredibly easy and fun to work with their team and I would recommend them to anyone who asks for a great venue. Almost one year later and our team is still raving about what a perfect night that was. Couldn't recommend them enough!

I am a wedding photographer in the city, and I can’t believe I’ve never shot here. I just toured this space, and wow is it beautiful. The grand piano, the brick wall, just all of it is gorgeous and perfect for a small wedding. Jenna is super friendly and easy to work with. You need to consider having your wedding here

We recently hosted an event at the Garret and had an amazing experience. The space is gorgeous and really gives that cool downtown loft vibe. We can't wait for our next event at The Garret and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an intimate downtown venue.

The venue is so amazing for any type of event it is welcoming, cozy, and just an all around great place. What makes the Garret even more amazing is working with Heather she is prompt with her responses, ensures a smooth night for your event, and reminds you of the small details you might forget! I needed a last minute bartender not only did she find one but he was the most friendly, outgoing bartender I have ever dealt with! We used The Garret for both the girls getting ready before our ceremony and our cocktail hour while the team flipped The Pioneer for our reception. The space is beautiful and unique with amazing views and exposed brick walls. It made for amazing getting ready photos as well as comfortable for lounging before the ceremony. Our cocktail hour was amazing in this space. Logistically it was perfect that it is right next door to The Pioneer so our guests didn't have to go far between the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. It also has an open kitchen which allowed our guests to watch the chef create our delicious snacks.

We had a full Weekend wedding at the Ridge.and booked all the rooms, villa and the airstream.
From the moment we went to view this venue through to post event, Randy amd his staff have been amazing.
The accommodations are top notch. I’ve never had a kitchen so well stocked for cooking and living as the Villa offers.
We had a full day prior to the wedding to begin our decorating and event set up. Held a BBQ the night for 30
People and then had the best wedding g we could have asked for.
The food here is beyond excellent and the everyone made sure all the guests special needs were accommodated.
We cleaned up the next day with Randy and the staff being very helpful.

I highly recommend this venue as a getaway destination wedding venue within Canada. It’s well priced for the level of service and quality of food and accommodations.

We had been wanting to try a pop-up dinner here for a while, finally made it! Service, food, location and the setting up on the hill was fabulous. We opted for the three course and it was more than enough. Xavier the chef chatted with us for a few mins before we headed out. This is stretching the boundaries of my entertainment budget, but this is truly a high-end meal experience. I hope we can come back one day!

Such a pretty venue with staff that makes you feel like you’re one of the family. Randy and his staff hosted our wedding mid June and surprisingly what was supposed to be an outdoor wedding had to change when wind and torrential rain were in mother natures plans! They offered other options and seamlessly made the new plan happen and we had a lovely day regardless. We’ve enjoyed both a pop-up dinner as well as our own rehearsal and wedding meals provided by Xavier and his team and everyone is still saying it’s the best wedding food they have had and that no one could finish their generously sized meal but somehow wished there were seconds! Everything was perfectly orchestrated, with friendly helpful lovely people running a gem of a venue who could ask for more! We recently went to a pop up dinner which I was very excited for!
The location is so beautiful and we were out in a big tent which was lovely.
After a few drinks we were ready to eat. Our first course came 1 1/2 hours after we got there which is a long time.
There was probably half an hour between it and our main meal which is fine.
The food however was the most delicious I have ever had!
The attention to detail and flavour was second to none!
Our server Larry was great and it was nice to talk to Randy the owner just before we left.
Perhaps the wait is "normal" but some complimentary bread sticks or after dinner liqueur would've made this a 5 star experience! 😊

The evening was lovely, the ambience in the room was wonderful, and the service excellent! My favorite dishes were the squash and chestnut soup as well as the Bloody Mary shrimp. The bison was very good, but the monkfish was a bit chewy and fishy for my taste. A wonderful way to spend a New Year’s Eve.

We were not guests of the hotel but headed out for brunch earlier today. We are looking at Azure ridge as a potential wedding venue. Everyone we interacted with was absolutely lovely. The food, spectacular. I would be remiss if I did not mention the exceptional hospitality and warm welcome that we received from our server Brenda. In keeping with the stone theme of the hotel, she is an absolute diamond.

We attended a wedding at Azuridge Boutique Hotel and it was such a romantic space. Everything about the venue was absolutely beautiful—the architecture, the grounds, and all the little details. The staff were amazing and so attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. Even though the weather was gloomy, the beauty of the venue and all the thoughtful touches made it easy to look past the rain. Truly a stunning place for a special occasion.

We celebrated our wedding at this gorgeous venue last week! The venue was absolutely stunning and well-maintained, the service was amazing, timely, and top-notch, and the rooms were super gorgeous and clean. Julie is a wonderful wedding coordinator who was always respectful of our wishes and worked diligently to ensure that our weekend went perfectly. The concierge workers were amazing at helping us and making sure our day went seamlessly. I highly recommend visiting this gem hidden away in Priddis, and definitely having your wedding here!

This place is truly a hidden gem! My husband and I had the pleasure of visiting in early April for an overnight stay, and it was absolutely wonderful. From the luxurious suite to the delectable food and the stunning hotel grounds, it was the perfect short getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city.

A special shout-out to our exceptional server in the dining room during dinner—Adriana? and the tall bartender (apologies, I may be off on the name)—both provided outstanding service. They made us feel incredibly welcome and were attentive to all our questions, ensuring we had a memorable experience.

My husband and I just celebrated our anniversary and had the pleasure of staying for one night in the Pearl room. It was absolutely beautiful. The staff, the food and the grounds of this property were incredible and we will definitely stay again!

We are visiting Calgary for our wedding anniversary for the weekend and went to Jamrock on Saturday night. The vibe was cool, the customer service was friendly and engaging, and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the oxtail brirria tacos and my husband had the curry goat. Both meals were just the right size and very tasty. Our drinks were also delicious. Thank you for a great experience! Glad we came!

Jamrock Lounge & Grill had my taste buds doing a lil’ reggae dance! 💃🏽 We smashed curry goat, fish, jerk chicken, and an ackee & saltfish roll—seasoned like the chef’s ancestors were watching, just a tad heavy on the salt. Staff brought pure island vibes, ambiance was smoother than fresh rum punch, and the music had us swaying in our seats. Found them with 4.8⭐️ on Google, drove almost 40 mins, and every bite was worth the trip. Next time we’re in Calgary, we’re pulling up hungry! 😎

Food was beyond amazing!!! It’s what I was expecting nice n fresh ugh you gotta eat here, so worth it :) enjoyed every moment I was there. The drinks are fire, the mango margaritas were so good they’re made perfectly, the strawberry daiquiri were blended nicely n not over sweet it was made just right. 10/10 recommend. The akee n salt fish spring rolls were blessed.
N the shrimp tacos were beyond…loved them will be coming back for more :)

I got invited for the sneak peak event prior to opening day next month. And I wasn't disappointed at all. The venue is a great size and it's in a very central location, which makes it easy to get to from all sides of the city. The food was amazing and I can't wait to visit it again. The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly, it was like going home for the weekend and seeing all your friends & Family. I can't wait to visit it again and I would definitely recommend you checking it out.

Update: The drinks are amazing. Definitely will back on a regular basis.

Best Caribbean restaurant in the city! As someone whos just moved here from Toronto, this is by far the best Jamaican spot I’ve had in without a doubt. All the other places I’ve tried don’t compare to the selection we had back in Toronto on top of how overpriced they are here, but the food and service and atmosphere is immaculate at Jamrock. I ordered oxtail and jerk chicken tacos and they were both a solid 9-10/10. Definitely recommend this spot! They’re bringing the Caribbean to Calgary which us much needed

Perch did not disappoint! From start to finish, every dish was tasteful done and full of flavor. Different textures, different flavours, different temperatures all worked together!

Service was attentive and each dish was explained in great detail. We were able to see the chefs work and plate each dish carefully. Even tho we were there for over 3 hours, it felt much shorter.

I will definitely be back for tasting menus in the future! Thanks Perch!

My partner and I enjoyed a 9 course dinner at Perch this weekend, and we were extremely pleased with the food, service, and ambiance of this Ottawa restaurant. My personal favourite course was the “Bison three ways” course—the donut was absolutely incredible. We have a few Michelin worthy restaurants in the city, and Perch is definitely one of them. Thanks to the Perch team for making my birthday dinner a special one, cheers!

Thrilled with our dining experience at Perch: food, ambience, service and sustainability were incredible. We enjoyed the blind menu with the traditional drink pairings (wine, cocktails and saki). Each course was presented beautifully and offered a journey of flavours and textures; a real dream. The team was attentive and knowledgeable. It was great to see dishes being prepared in the open kitchen; real artistry. My only regret is not finding this restaurant sooner. I can’t wait to go back!

Liked it but wanted to love it! A few dishes just didn’t hit the marks for our group and we left feeling slightly unsatisfied food wise. The ambiance/drinks were fantastic however and it was a very fun experience.

We started with turnips. I thought it was a perfect dish to prepare the palate. Fresh, acidic, great texture on the turnip.

Next came the macaron which to two members of our table was the star of the show. The macaron itself was incredible - slightly chewy yet still crunchy so it held together great. The mousse was delicious.

This was followed up by the salmon which our table didn’t enjoy. The cauliflower pudding was more on the frozen/iced side, which texture wise contrasted a little too much with the salmon. The salmon itself was also not my favourite as it was a bit on the fishier and smokier side, although one person at our table did really enjoy the salmon itself.

The chawanmushi was next which again wasn’t greatly appreciated by any of the table. It was good, the pork was tasty and the clams had a great texture. It was a very subtle dish - maybe it wasn’t greatly appreciated just due to the flavour being more on the mild side and it wasn’t very warm. Think we would have appreciated a warm soup or hot broth following the iced pudding dish.

The following raviolo was a big hit. Flavour wise it packed a punch, the mushrooms added a great texture, and all of its components felt cohesive. We did think however the aerated sauce here didn’t seem to contribute to the dish, but it was greatly enjoyed nonetheless.

The following tuna was perfectly cooked as well. The char on the bok choy contributed well and the crunch of the cucumber gave a nice addition. Only complaint here was the sauce was a bit too much on the buttery side. I think following up the flavour bomb that was the raviolo sauce we would have appreciated a more fresh and acidic dish here.

The caviar & beef was amazing. Loved to finally try a take on the famous French laundry cornet. The matane shrimp cone texture was perfectly crunchy yet not to the point of falling apart. The tartare was flavourful, with the caviar adding a nice topping.

The lamb was good. Maybe a bit under-salted and unfortunately the knives provided proved difficult to slice the lamb and near impossible to slice the Swiss chard. The barley risotto and puffed rice here were excellent components. All members of our table enjoyed the dish however we maybe were be hoping to be wowed by the final dish.

The dessert was just okay. Quite subtle flavour wise and the ice cream was almost too cold for the cake - as the rye cake itself was also on the colder side. It would have been better with a hot cake to contrast the coldness of the ice cream.

Overall the takeaways from the group were that another fresh acidic style dish would have been appreciated as in general the overarching flavour theme seemed to be more on the umami and savoury side. The flavours were more subtle with the dishes that packed a punch flavour wise (Raviolo/Macaron) being the standouts. For a cold winter night I think we would have wanted a warm heartier dish at some point as well. The chawanmushi I suppose maybe tried to fill this role but it wasn’t very warm. The sauce components that contributed to the dishes were either cold or room temperature.

Definitely a great place to visit for the seafood loving gourmand. We rolled in for a Sunday dinner and enjoyed the heck out of the tasting course. Lots of Japanese influence and highly detailed flavour combinations. The sauces in particular really made dishes pop, either contrasting a particular protein or creating an interesting series of bites. Expect largely local ingredients and odd preparations. There was near the end an enjoyable sourdough bread sauce for example. The price for the nine courses is pretty much the current benchmark so that's great too.

I have been here twice, once to check it out and the second time for a rehearsal dinner for our wedding (~20 adult guests). So we and our guests have had everything on the menu and it is all delicious!

For me personally the bouillabaisse was phenomenal when I had it and when my friend had it the second time we were there she agreed. The slow braised short ribs were also popular with our guests for the rehearsal dinner. Coquilles St Jacques and Calamari were our favorites of the appetizers.

Both times the meal was excellent, every dish was great and Yves and his fellow waiter were very friendly and supremely competent.

They were also great to work with for hosting a private event, as we were able to have the place all to ourselves for the rehearsal dinner with canapes and drinks before the main meal. The kitchen was also able to maintain the same quality of food for our event with all the orders coming in at once as it was when my parents and I visited the first time during normal operation.

I will definitely be coming back for date nights with my wife. Overall an absolutely incredible experience, and a true hidden gem.

Purlieu Bistro — one of the best places we’ve been to in Canada. Outstanding food and service. After visiting three years in a row, it’s become our favorite place to spend evenings with friends, celebrate birthdays, and mark our wedding anniversary.

Nice, quaint restaurant - I was craving for moules frites in the city that's done right - this hit the spot. We tried the Provençal and Vaudovan curry Moules frites. I can't take a favorite, they're both delicious. Pair it with their beautiful Chardonnay and order the French Martini to cap it off. We're about 40 kms away from the restaurant, and we'd happily go back to try the rest of the menu items. The calamari was also delicious. I wanted to order the tartare, but it was unavailable when we were there.

We have been here several times for dinner and lunch. We're so satisfied with all of the meals we ordered. Every dish was really tasty with flavour. Try their mussels, you'll know what I meant so tasty. Remember to order extra bread to dip with the mussel sauce to enjoy the full flavor in your mouth.

Amazing food!! And wonderful staff!! Went there last night with my husband and we tried 3 appetizers and we both ordered the mussels and fries and shared the cheesecake dessert. All of it were incredible, so satisfying to eat! Love the atmosphere and the service was awesome as well! Will definitely be going back!

Our dinner and overall experience at Ermitage was one of the highlights of our 4 day trip to Montreal. We had so much fun with our host (the owner, I believe), who talked us decisively through her recommendations. My family loved the beef stroganoff and my vareniki - served in a little pot with incredible flavor - was my favorite meal of the trip. I cannot stress enough - save room and order the medovik (honey cake). Such a good meal and experience in a fun, welcoming and eclectic setting. Highly highly recommend.

I went there for lunch today, and I have to say – I’m truly impressed! The borscht was a standout: rich, hearty, and bursting with flavor. The presentation was on point, making it feel like a special experience from the very first bite. The interior is warm and inviting, with a cozy atmosphere that feels like you’re stepping into someone’s home. It’s the kind of place where you can sit back, relax, and enjoy a meal that’s made with care.

The location is super convenient, and what really added to the experience was the owner, Galina. She’s so welcoming and friendly, making sure everyone feels right at home. If you’re curious about authentic Russian and Ukrainian cuisine, this place is a must-visit. Trust me, you won’t find anything better in Montreal! It was my first visit, but from the moment I entered the restaurant, I was struck by the wonderful atmosphere reminiscent of Eastern Europe. We chose the course menu, and every dish was exquisite, unlike anything I had ever tasted before. The beef stroganoff, in particular, was a taste I had never experienced before and was truly memorable. The service was attentive yet not intrusive, making for a very comfortable dining experience.

We held multiple events here and our guests were very impressed with the hall's decor and cleanliness. Working with Sunny ensured our vision was accurately portrayed on our special day. Roma Catering is the best in the business - the greatest food and the most professional and organized. My family has trusted them for years and I immediately knew I would hire them for our wedding. Working with Danny was fantastic, we really enjoyed the tasting menu they prepared for us, and he gave great advice when we were deciding exactly what to put on our menu. Danny also answered sooo many questions we had throughout the process. At the wedding itself we had multiple people tell us that the beef tenderloin wrapped in bacon was one of the best meals they have ever had, and I absolutely agree with them. The staff at the wedding was extremely helpful and attentive to our needs, and they were so kind and professional. At the end of the night two girls even came to compliment me on my dress! I loved talking with them. I'm not surprised that such lovely young people work for Roma. They are the best, their food is to die for, and we appreciate them so much! Thank you Roma!!

Stopped by to visit the Italian market and came home with 2 pizzas and 2 lasagnas. The pizza had a great crispy crust. And the Lasagna was very tasty. I definitely will be going back to pick up some more food to put in the freezer as everything was very good. This is a mini lasagna.its enough to feed 2 to 4 people.

I hired Roma Catering for an event at my home and it was so well done! I had 49 people to feed and realized I was not going to be able to cook for that many people. Roma was so lovely to deal with from the very beginning to the very end. The service and food was 10/10. Honestly, they made it so easy that I highly recommend using them for your next event. The team that worked my specific event was so lovely and the food was so good. I really loved that all table settings were included.

This was so good!!! It was on par with my mother's cooking - different but still delicious. I highly recommend this place.

I ate today! Sea Bass was tender and flavorful. I wanted more! The desserts were solid, I was really happy with the cheesecake with a little brownie on top. Service was top notch.

We had a delightful meal. From the welcome at the door, the service was fabulous. Each course was excellent. We had the Caesar salad (uniquely presented), calamari and two mains; rack of lamb and gnocchi. Half the gnocchi and chicken came home with me! Saved a little room for dessert - cheesecake and crême brûlée.

There’s a reason this restaurant has been here for 15 years. The service is above and beyond here. They treat you so well and genuinely want you to have the best experience. As soon as we sat down they gave us a 1oz glass of sparkling wine, which was so unexpected. To start we had the mussels, honestly I haven’t had better mussels in my life. For the mains we had the whole sea bass and the special that night, which was the lamb shank. The lamb actually came with 2 shanks! The food was so so good. I highly recommend this place as the food and service is top tier. 100% I will be back!

Such an amazing restaurant - I'm from Spain and it's so difficult to have a great plate of fish in Toronto without asking for a mortgage. But in Rush Hour you can have that, and good Portuguese wine, topped with a delicious dessert - all for an unbeatable price. And besides that, the people there are so nice, making you feel at home. We really didn't want to plan a big wedding and just get our immediate families and a few friends together to share a delicious meal. We couldn't have been happier with Alo Salon. The food was incredible (we did five courses with wine pairing). The adults sat at the main table and we had the kids in a booth (there was a kids menu as well). We started with canapés and cocktails (out of this world) until the officiant came in to marry us before the sit down dinner. The pace of the dinner was on the mark, allowing everyone to move around and socialize between courses. Lyvia was very helpful and responsive in planning the event and Will presented the food and wine beautifully. Location was great: you could see the crowds pass by on the pedestrian walkway from one side of the table and from the other, you could watch the bustling kitchen while each course was being prepared. The florist they provided was A +++. A truly magical evening

The service is extremely professional, the cleanliness is unparalleled, its a humble but classy decor and the fixed meals will have something for everyone to love.
While I'm sure the menu changes, the king oyster mushrooms were a show stopper paired with the beef tenderloin. I would order those mushrooms by themselves as they would pair with any protein!

The two gentlemen running front of house and bar were very personable and especially the fella running the bar with the beard and notable mustache was a joy-- quick witted, recommended excellent drinks, our group were big fans. I'm ashamed I did not catch their names.

You can see the kitchen team preparing your meals from behind a metal grate in a tiny 3 person prep area behind the bar, which I like and hate-- but it adds to the unique environment and makes the space feel larger.

If you have the opportunity to experience Alo Salon, I'd highly recommend it and it was very intimate feeling for a small-medium group (we only had around 15 people, they state they can support up to 34).

Impeccable in every way. The Alo Salon team catered 2 private events in our home in the past few months - my son's 1st birthday and a business dinner with 30 guests. The food was incredible (of course!), the team is gracious and highly professional and the service, outstanding. The high-calibre of the Alo experience you expect in the restaurant is perfectly executed with their private dining experience. Salon is a great option for food and wine at the heart of Yorkville. It's open for lunch, dinner and private dining as well. We enjoyed the hamachi sashimi, veal sweetbreads and various mini cake cakes from the dessert cart. Highly recommended.

We stopped by Stofa this weekend to celebrate our anniversary, it was a great choice.
Stofa does one of those menus where you have to choose a three course or a five course option. We chose the five course with the wine pairing. It was just such a delightful night.

Our server was so sweet and made sure to explain everything on the menu to us, food, and wine. I had asked for a few accommodations because I’m a vegetarian and she was more than happy to let me know about the alterations, the kitchen had made for me. Some of the options were just so tasty.
I really liked their take on ice cream, which was a nitrogen infused ice cream that you had to break apart with a tiny little mallet.

The ambiance of the place is perfect with great flourishes on all the walls and very comfortable seating. The washroom is super clean and we were Vibin all night to the music choices. It is not a cheap place but I would certainly recommend splurging if you were celebrating an anniversary or birthday. Five stars!

We went to Stofa for a special occasion/date and were pleasantly surprised by this venue.
I read few positive reviews before booking and then found 1 star reviews after I made reservation, which made me a little suspicious/conscious about my choice.

I am glad I didn’t read bad reviews first, eventually:)) So I’ll give my feedback as bullet points.

1) intimate space if you want to go for a date, special occasion or business dinner. Many people, including us, were here for an anniversary.

2) no kids were at the venue, this felt like an adult place where you can actually enjoy the atmosphere and food! We were glad we left kids at home.

3) minimalistic decor which coincidentally fitted into our personal taste. Love it!

4) I loved the fact that after each course the flatware were changed! This is what you would expect from the restaurant like this. All the dinnerware was appropriate to its use as to my knowledge of the etiquette. Proper flutes for sparkling wine, proper espresso cup, adorable steak knives, etc.

5) we felt very comfortable being served, no judgement (visible at least) all servers well dressed, and I loved their aprons!

6) food was very good. I couldn’t find a single point to complain. We ordered 5 course meal and sparkling wine. We loved every piece of it.

7) although portions seemed small, we weren’t hungry after the visit, and I felt full 2/3 of course completion. The diversity of the flavours in the dishes made up for the amount of food.

8) we ordered Citrus Salad and Cod Cheeks for the starters, Duck breast and rabbit ragout for the main, and soufflé and chocolate cake for dessert. I can’t describe flavours, but every dish was interesting and very well balanced. It was so perfect I was in doubt I was awake :)

I liked the soufflé, this is the best desert I’ve had in a long time. Well done!
The chocolate cake was accessorized with side sweets with different flavours and ice cream. It was an explosion of flavours that complemented each other.

I ended up liking a “chef’s choice” course that came within our 5 course menu. I don’t remember what it was, or what it was called, but that was the most amazing thing I ever tried in restaurant ( there was ricotta and polenta as part of the ingredients).

It’s not cheap place, but it worth the visit!

This place is amazing! Such a wonderful experience from the food to the service. The staff are all very knowledgeable when it comes to allergies and dietary restrictions which is very reassuring when you are celiac!

Food was excellent. Good spot for those looking for seafood or pasta. We ordered tuna from the raw bar that was delicious. The warm buns and butter are a must as well. The server/bartender was very knowledgeable about the wine selection and picked out a funky wine to pair with the early part of the meal (pictured), and another for the pasta later (not pictured). Great wine selection, full bar, and a couple of nice craft beers.

I think if you want a table, it’s best to make a reservation. The prices are reasonable. A nice thing about their pasta is that they offer both small and large portions, so you can try different kinds if you’d like. All the food was delicious — even the complimentary house-made bread. The cocktails were great, and overall, the prices were fair. I would like to come back. This place is better than North Navy — better and cheaper!

Came out here to celebrate a birthday! I was surprised to hear it's been around for 13 years, place is well maintained and I love the light fixtures!

Oysters were super super fresh, my favourite was the tuna crudo- beautiful balance of acid and the puffed rice on it was chefs kiss! 👩🏽‍🍳 Eatons Mess was a lovely way to finish off the meal of the duck pasta! Portions are big! Highly recommend :)

Finally to made it to The olive Branch and it did not disappoint!! We had two appetizers, the roasted red pepper and feta dip and the Keftedes and they were both AMAZING!
For our entrees we had the Lamb platter and the chicken pita wrap with salads, everything was tender and very flavourful. I highly recommend! The Greek wine paired very well with all of our food.
The staff and service was also amazing! We will definitely be back!

Was never obsessed with Greek food until I tried this place. I found it on uber eats last year and tried the spanakopita - phenomenal. Then tried the shrimp platter… so uniquely seasoned and the potatoes are SO GOOD!!! They don’t skimp on the salad portion (which tastes amazing and fresh). I brought my friend and dined in for the first time on Friday and the experience was just as good. Friendly staff, you can tell they care if we enjoyed the food.

+ I just recently found out their meat is actually halal! Ordered their grilled chicken Greek salad which was so filling and delicious as expected. I can’t wait to try more dishes!

No words can describe how amazing this meal was. The owner took such great care of us, the food was some of the best food I have ever tasted, and the atmosphere was perfect!
