A cozy neighbourhood spot with a twist on familiar flavours. The cesar salad and east coast/west coast (scallop and cured salmon) appetizers were solid. Classics done right. I particularly enjoyed the bison tenderloin which was soft and tender. But honestly, I would get that dish again just to have the savoury mushroom pudding that came with it. It was AMAZING. The only thing I would skip on the next time is the fish and chips, it was just okay. The fish didn't taste like much unfortunately.

Hidden gem that is very deserving of their many 5-star reviews! Definitely gotta come back many times before it gets too popular.

I recently visited one of the most incredible local restaurants I've ever experienced. The host was exceptionally polite, professional, and made the dining experience enjoyable. Every recommendation provided was honest and truly outstanding. We absolutely loved our appetizer, and words can't express how delicious our burger was—it's easily one of the best I've ever had in Toronto. Without a doubt, we'll be returning. Highly recommended!

My husband and I sat at the bar and had a wonderful experience. The owner Tony and our server Cora were very warm and helpful throughout the evening. We had delicious cocktails and food. We can’t wait to come back and try more dishes on the menu! We got the sourdough, bison tartare, beef cheek, bison tenderloin, duck, pistachio cheesecake, and crème brûlée trio. The dishes are well created and presented beautifully.

What an amazing experience! From the starters to the mains and all the way through to dessert, everything was absolutely delicious. The menu is small, but what they serve is good. The staff was incredibly kind - especially Jamie, our server, who made the night even more special. The wine he recommended was fantastic. If you’re in Ottawa, this place is a must-visit!

We celebrated our elopement with an intimate private dinner at Arlo, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! From planning to the actual night, everything was handled with so much care and attention. The service was amazing, and the food was incredible, beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The team made us feel truly looked after, it’s a night we’ll always remember.

From the moment we walked through the doors at Arlo, it was clear this restaurant operates with a level of precision and passion that sets it apart. The attention to detail was evident in everything, from the flawless service to the small touches that made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant.

We started the evening with appetizers of blistered peppers and anchovy + lardo toast which complemented each other beautifully. The wine selection was equally impressive with pairings that really brought out the best in the food. The staff’s wine pairing suggestions and menu recommendations elevated the entire experience.

Our main course was a duck fritz and an amazing rabbit leg - flavourful, perfectly cooked, and plated with care. Just as we thought we couldn’t top our night, dessert arrived, a meyer lemon take on tres leches cake that reminded us of a perfect lemon meringue pie. It was light, rich, and the perfect ending to the meal.

We left full, happy, and already thinking about our next visit!

although there was a loud table beside us, Molly and Francois completely made the experience unbelievable. We had a private tour of their reception area, INSANE service by miss Molly, souvenirs, just the best time overall. If you’re celebrating, this is the place… Customized menus, personalized service. 10/10. Will be back. Thank you Molly and Francois for everything. Will never forget this night.

We ate here on my wife's birthday, and it was a fantastic experience. They printed menus for us with Happy Birthday Lisa on them (my wife's name). We had oysters, appetizers, and 2 fabulous main courses. The wait staff were great, I would highly recommend it for an evening out. As well, there's a pay parking lot right next door (so no problems there).

The service was impeccable, with each dish presented very creatively and played in an appealing manner. Overall the food was good, though I did find the balance to be off on some of the courses - I found them to be overly sweet and missing acid, heat, and that umami element. Still a great experience though and I am glad I went!

When the first couple of courses were served I was worried that we have to go for a meal after our meal, was I ever wrong. The servings of the savoury courses turned out to far more filling than expected and the desserts were amazing.

This is a dining experience that may be a little bit on the pricey side but is something that should be on your list.

It’s over 40 courses but it comes in 6 rounds so no need to wait for each course. In some cases it was nice and in some with warmer dishes, having to wait to eat something is not ideal (there was a round with soup and by the time I ate it, it was room temp).

If you are in Ottawa and celebrate a special occasion or just a foodie, I recommend coming here. My favorite was the a balloon filled with helium with a string made from food roll up that you bite into.

The dishes were fun and the chef was very creative with the ingredients. The service was also lovely!

Atelier is a hidden gem in the heart of Ottawa. The building itself is unassuming, yet upon entering, you are transported to a culinary world of carefully curated creativity. Each dish was exceptional and explained down to the T by our server. This restaurant is an experience that couples artistry with gastronomy. The staff were incredible, knowledgeable, accommodating, and made my birthday dinner experience one for the books. Their Manhattan's are ON POINT as well. 10/10

WOW -i have been to a lot of restaurants but this was one of the most interesting dining experiences! It was more the art of food and taste. You are greeted with a fairly plain restaurant, I wasn't sure if I was at the right place. But the 40 taste and visual delights you are exposed to are incredible, as much a delight to the palette as they are to your eyes. Loved the wine pairings too and the service was just excellent. Oh,and it cost a lot, and it took three and a half wonderful hours! If you can afford such luxuries, quite the experience.

Loved this place! Just had our daughter’s Bat Mitzvah Party here and it was amazing. Stas, the owner, and his team made sure our experience was seamless. Eliran, our DJ/MC was unbelievable, he is so talented that it was great to watch, and the guests had a great time. The food was delicious & and the food kept flowing, as if there were endless courses.

If you are throwing a party/event you will not go wrong with this place. Great Food! Great Music! Great Staff!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Bomond Restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, lively, and welcoming. The waitresses were attentive, friendly, and professional, making sure everything was perfect throughout the evening.

The entertainment was outstanding , special thanks to David, his brother, dancer Iula, and the entire dance team who truly made the night unforgettable. Their energy, talent, and charisma brought so much joy and excitement to the room.

Bomond Russian Restaurant is a fantastic spot for an unforgettable dining experience. I attended my sister in laws birthday celebration with my wife. The food is absolutely delicious and served family-style, making it perfect for sharing and enjoying a variety of dishes. The entertainment adds a vibrant and exciting element to the evening, creating a lively and festive atmosphere that keeps you engaged throughout.

The service is top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff who ensure you feel welcome and well taken care of. Every detail, from the presentation of the food to the overall ambiance, is thoughtfully curated.

The only downside is the parking, which can be a bit of a challenge. However, this minor inconvenience is easily overshadowed by the excellent food, entertainment, and overall experience. Highly recommend for a fun night out with friends or family! A+ all the way.

A Dream Wedding at Bomond!
Bomond recently hosted our wedding, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better venue to celebrate such a special day. From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect.
Let’s start with the food—wow! It was beyond delicious. There was so much variety, and every single dish was prepared to perfection. From the fresh and vibrant salads to the mouthwatering fish and shish kebabs, and finally the most perfectly cooked lamb I’ve ever had—our guests are still talking about how incredible it all was.
The venue itself is stunning. With breathtaking décor by BoomEvent.ca, the entire space looked like something out of a fairy tale. And the laser show was just magical—unique, beautiful, and unforgettable.
The service was also exceptional. Every staff member was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the night.
It was everything we dreamed of and more.

I first visited Cabotto’s about 20 years ago for a friend’s birthday and ordered their veal. I’ve been thinking about that meal ever since—veal has never tasted better anywhere else. So for my husband’s birthday this year, we returned to Cabotto’s, and the experience was just as incredible as I remembered.

Our waitress, Deb, was so warm and welcoming. She interacted with our kids in such a genuine way that it felt like we were dining with family. Even another server in our section went out of his way to make us feel at home, which really added to the experience.

The food was absolutely exquisite—and that’s coming from someone who doesn’t usually consider themselves a big fan of Italian cuisine. Every dish was flavorful, tender, and cooked to perfection. The drinks were spot-on, and the desserts were the perfect sweet ending to a memorable evening.

We’ll definitely be back!

This is my new favourite Italian restaurant!

My husband and I went for dinner on our anniversary and we had the best time.
We did go extremely early, as we don't live in town and wanted to go after work.. So we basically did the early bird dinner at 4 lol
But the service was amazing, no wait at all. Our server was the nicest man. The food was just incredible, and it all came out sooooo fresh and fast.
We will definitely be going back, and I'll be eating my way through this menu. I need to try it all! :)

This beautiful restaurant is in an old stone building with stained glass windows, giving a great atmosphere. Service is always top notch and the food amazing! Generous portions, consistently delicious, have been coming for years and will keep coming back for more.

Interior design is good but dark, cannot see what we order and eat. They may put some table lights or candles. Quantity of meat is not enough for one person. Some pastas are homemade but the rest are not. Homemades were good, average Italian Restaurant, needs some improvement at the kitchen. Good place during summer for wine and deli plate

I had my birthday party (21 guests) at Joey Eau Claire location this weekend and Ashley was an amazing server!! She was friendly, bubbly and funny and handled the large group well. She made an extra effort to have the kitchen put together a beautiful birthday dessert (see photo) for me which I have never had anything like that before. I felt very special and was so glad I chose this restaurant for my party. The food was delicious as well. I requested for the lobster spaghetti sauce on the side (photo attached) which was kindly accommodated for me. The guests all enjoyed the dining experience as well. Sarah our sever was polite, engaging, and had a lovely personality. She made the dining experience wonderful.

The food was fresh, delicious, and decent portions. The dessert, which we normally skip, was also quite tasty.

The service was excellent, even though the restaurant was quite busy. The staff were very welcoming, and both our server and the floor manager consistently checked on us and apologized for the delay in our food. However, I didn't mind the wait, as it was not too long. The prices and portion sizes of the dishes were reasonable. I highly recommend trying the Miso Garlic Mushroom and the Scallop & Prawn Ceviche as starters; they were exquisite.

We came here because of the great reviews and ended up having the best dinner of our Canadian trip — and one of the best dinners we’ve had in a long time.
The food was absolutely outstanding, and the service (thank you, Robyn!) was truly first-class.

It's our first night in Montreal and it's my birthday! 🥳 My daughter made reservations at La Verità.
They started us off with a plate of focaccia, olives and sundried tomatoes. This was our first meal of the day and it waa yummy, it opened up our appetite. 😋

We had three different staff looking after us. They suggested items not on the menu so to start, we selected the Burrata with pistachios, pomegranate and a honey balsamic drizzle with sourdough strips. This was a delicious starter, and very filling!😋

Our mains were the Lasagna and the Lobster Ravioli in a cream sauce. My daughter loved her Lobster Ravioli 🦞, my lasagna could feed two. Although it was meaty and cheesey, something about the pasta was lacking, a four out of five for me.

We ended our night with desserts, but before we ordered, the staff was nice enough to bring out a slice of Tirimasu with a lit candle. I'm not a big fan of Tirimasu, (but I truly appreciated the thought). We ordered the apple crisp with vanilla ice cream and the carrot cake with walnuts. These desserts were exceptional!😋😋

The staff were attentive and friendly, and a special shout out to Nolan, who was so kind and helpful, teaching us proper French translationings.🤭😜

Stunning and delightful dining experience. The staff is courteous and attentive (thank you Luca, Tomassi and Derrick), the atmosphere lends itself to a superlative dining experience, and the food is exquisite. Lots of extra/daily options on top of the standard menu, all of it delicious. You'll end up sharing, and will be hard pressed to decide whom amongst your group ordered the best dish.

A very nice restaurant with many imported items from Italy, depending on the season. The decor is chic, and the ambiance is pleasant—lively but not too loud! Our waitress, Dovina, provided amazing service, offering excellent suggestions and in-depth details about the uniqueness of each dish.

We enjoyed the burrata, beautifully paired with pistachios, pomegranate, honey, and balsamic—absolutely delicious. The portion sizes were fair and well-balanced, leaving us perfectly satisfied. A perfect place for special occasions, it’s worth what you pay for! For the main course, we had the ravioli d’aragosta, which was creamy and flavorful. We also tried the grilled lamb chops, perfectly cooked and tender, served with asparagus, mashed potatoes, and peppers.

For dessert we shared a maple cheesecake that was sweet and delightful. A standout feature was the half-bottle wine list, which added a nice touch to the experience.

I can’t believe this place has been hiding in our neighbourhood all this time! Stumbled across it by chance and tried it out for the first time this week. It was a 10/10! The atmosphere is chic, the view from penthouse is beautiful, the food was delicious, and the service is genuinely excellent.

The menu is French cuisine—beautifully prepared with attention to detail. The portions were big and left us feeling very satisfied. We ordered the frisee salad with scallops to start. They offer complimentary bread and salted butter. Then we had the smoked trout, and my husband had the steak frites. Everything was perfectly cooked and paired well with the accompaniments. We had a glass of Pinot noir and finished the evening with their strawberry Posset dessert.

A true hidden gem- it deserves all the hype and recognition.

The fois gras was nice specially the bread that comes with it. It’s more towards the sweeter side of flavors which was new to me I’ve always had it as savory but i kinda liked it. I had the lamb shoulder which was really nice maybe a little bit less cumin in it would’ve been better tho. The pork belly was super good. The pear and almond tarts were good as well with ice cream on it.

We hosted my daughter's baby shower and it was an incredible experience. The service was impeccable, the staff so welcoming and kind. Shannon the manager went above and beyond to ensure the event was a success. The food was some of the best gourmet food I have ever experienced in a restaurant. We had a group of 50 and each guest ranted and raved about how their meal was incredible, from the salad, to the main course to the dessert. The view is breathtaking! We had 2 mocktails prepared for the shower and they were a work of art--so delicious, even the wines suggested by Shannon paired so nicely with the meal. Thank you Le St. Laurent for an event that exceeded all expectations. This restaurant should be on your list of must try restaurants to visit in Ottawa!!!!!! You will not be disappointed.

Gorgeous view over East Ottawa from up high, excellent food, fast and friendly service, this is a great place to have an intimate family dinner. Parking is across the street and very easy. We enjoyed our family dinner there.
We went back and it's still as good as ever. The views, the food quality, the atmosphere and the service are still top notch. For me, this is the best restaurant in Ottawa.

I can recommend booking the place, the host is really really nice and she is flexible with changes and request. The hall is big enough for wedding or biryhday parties. I rented it for my brother’s birthday party and it was amazing, the only problem was that there is no air condition so it was super hot and people where going outside but rather than that the place is ideal for parties as it has no neighbours who can complain for noises. Thank you so much Jackie for hosting us, it was a blast😍

We went for the Six Course Chef’s Tasting Menu as a family since I owed them a big favour recently. The menu probably changes with the seasons so I won’t get into every detail, but what really stood out was how thoughtfully each course was prepared and how approachable the flavors were. Even someone not familiar with Western fine dining would find it enjoyable.

My mom usually sticks with Asian cuisine, so I was a little nervous about how she would take it. Watching her finish every plate, even down to the last drop of sauce, honestly made me smile the whole evening. The service added to it too. The servers were warm and attentive, and when I saw her make the effort to express her gratitude to them directly, I knew we were in the right place.

For a first experience with a tasting menu like this, Richmond Station feels like the perfect spot. It goes beyond just being “delicious” and becomes a shared memory. The dining room was full, but everyone seemed happy and relaxed, and that energy made the night feel even more special.

Richmond Station is now where I’d start if I ever wanted to introduce someone new to this kind of dining.

What a spectacular experience overall. The food was amazing and well presented. Great variety of food. Server was amazing and attentive to our needs. The dessert was spectacular because who would have thought lemon sponge, coconut Chantilly, blueberry jam and basil sorbet could taste so good. Mind bogglingly good conclusion to an extraordinarily good meal. We will be back!!!!!

This is hands down one of the best Western cuisine restaurants in downtown Toronto. I had the honour of attending my brother’s wedding reception here, and it did not disappoint. Every dish was seasoned and cooked to absolute perfection. The menu is unique and creative, yet everything works together harmoniously.

The duck and the burger are absolute must-tries, but honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Dessert was also fantastic. Next time, I’d love to come with a large group so we can try a variety of dishes and really maximize the experience. Service was outstanding from start to finish. I’ll definitely be visiting again.

4.5 stars. Tried the chef’s menu in June. Food was overall tasty, fairly priced for what it is ($129 pp). Understand the menu is seasonal in nature but was a bit too much asparagus for my taste. Bread was one of my favourite dishes. Service was fabulous as expected.

We had a semi private dining area (no extra charge) as we had a larger group, which made the night extra special! Would come back for special occasions.

I can confidently say this place offers the best service and the best flavor. I’m usually sensitive to fishy tastes and can’t enjoy seafood everywhere, but every time I come here, the food is consistently fresh, clean, and absolutely delicious. The staff are always kind and attentive, which makes the experience even better.

Out of all the Japanese restaurants I’ve tried in Calgary, this one truly stands out as the best. The quality, taste, and atmosphere make it a place I always look forward to visiting again.

Yoon was our server, she was EXCELLENT, we had an amazing time at Ryuko. They keep the quality throughout their branches, anywhere you eat you will get 5 star service. We know also Andy from different locations, he has been our server and host before. He always makes us feel home when we are here. I cant wait for a location in Edmonton!!

Thanks to my new friend My for introducing me to Ryuko and their Omakase lunch. The food was superb and so was our chef and the service. I had previously been to this location when it was a pub and I was delighted to see how much the decor has been changed. The ambiance is great and I would highly recommend this place for Japanese food.

We were visiting from Toronto and somehow found Ryuko. Everything was so good - the food, fresh fish, interior design, and service were all phenomenal. Our server was a great conversationalist, attentive, informing us of each dish, and we had a great time chatting with him! We ordered the hamachi kama sashimi, and they even fried the kama after we had finished the sashimi. The eggplant and corn were also some of my other favorites. Definitely need to come back next time I visit, I liked Ryuko more than the Japanese restaurants in Toronto!

Phenomenal food. Each dish was amazing. We sat at the sushi bar, the sous chef was extremely polite and everyone seemed to really like working there.

Food came at the perfect pace. My wife's cocktail was the best drink she has ever had (velvet kiss). We will be back and we will bring more friends next time!

Very happy to find Signatures open again, on the terrace only for the summer but I see inside also very soon. Food was as amazing as I remember. Service was friendly and always some one around to make sure things went smoothly. Lovely to sit out on the terrace.

I planned a date night and it was lovely. We had a wide variety of dishes, we didn't feel rushed and we didn't leave hungry. I'm really glad we went and I'd go again!

Went for the August Elegance: Superior Cuisine Thursdays series where the students from the different specialties cook. I thought the meal was well-structured and had a lot of good variety. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming.

This is an incredibly desirable destination. I have visited Le Cordon Bleu during both lunch and dinner times before the pandemic, and currently, they provide a list of events during dining hours.
The restaurant is conveniently located not far from downtown, with a beautiful park beside it and parking on the side that features multiple embassies. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the service is excellent. The place is consistently clean and classically beautiful.
The quality of the cuisine is remarkable, offering food that is not only extremely good but also unique. The portion sizes and presentation are well thought out, initially appearing average or slightly smaller, but this is a clever strategy that enhances the overall dining experience, providing unforgettable and memorable tastes.
While the lunch menu may seem somewhat limited at first glance, it is regularly updated, guaranteeing better quality. The prices are more than reasonable, offering a comfortable dining experience for a restaurant with 12 Michelin stars, shared among five chefs.
I highly recommend visiting this place for an exclusive experience that will be hard to forget. Your personal experience will undoubtedly speak for itself.

I really love this place! The food is truly authentic Italian — fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The owner is Italian, and you can really feel the passion behind everything they do. The prices are also very reasonable for the quality you get. Highly recommend!

My only regret is not having tried this place sooner! Authentic Italian fare in a non-fussy atmosphere that’s suitable for families or date nights.

Food: we tired the calamari, pescatore, and carbonara. Calamari was lightly bathered, deep fried in clean oil, basic tomato sauce was perfectly complimentary. Carbonara was also tasty, guanciale is also a nice touch, but if it was cooked in the sauce longer, it would have made the sauce stand out even more on its own. The pescatore was also excellent, but there was a bit of sand/grit on about 1/3 of the muscles. That said, the flavour on everything was excellent, and very nicely cooked and presented. Pasta appears to be homemade. They also have their own wine, which is pretty neat.

Service: server was very attentive and friendly.

Atmosphere: saw a couple of large family style tables, a few regulars, and a few people on date nights. And everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Nothing fancy, but I enjoyed the artwork which added character and ambience.

Value: really good value for the quality!

Overall: high recommend and looking forward to trying other items! Reservations recommended.

Right from the start it was an awful experience. We weren’t greeted by anyone when we arrived and there wasn’t signage stating, “seat yourself”. I had to go look for our host/server. She was sitting out back. I understand serving means you take a break when you can but at least be on the floor or provide signage.

I mean this with all due respect — I can go to Whole Foods and buy better fresh pasta.. like A LOT better.

A very top notch romantic restaurant. I recently went for a Sunday Dinner to celebrate an anniversary and this is easily in the top restaurants I've been to. The staff are exceptionally personable, helpful and so nice, the views are obviously amazing and it's a treat to have a location like this overseeing a lake yet be inner city. The food was absolutely amazing and the staff was knowledgeable to help recommend the best meat cooked level and provide great drink and menu choices. We started with Crab and Potatoe Croquettes that were actually amazing and had very little crab smell and the texture with plating a treat for sure! After the appetizer our main dishes were plated with care and tasted amazing. The bison was delicious with the vegetable side and the stuffed pastry was actually an 11/10 and blew us away. The Ribeye was classic and cooked to perfection with the Potatoes and Broccoli and it definitely was a steakhouse quality dish. The desert being the lime creme brule was good and I would rate it visually a 10 but for taste it sat around an 8. It was not bad at all but having a meal where every item hits a solid 10 really holds a high bar that is both exciting and yummy to see. I give this place a 10/10 and highly recomme d everyone visit to enjoy a romantic dinner.

The Lake House in Calgary is a stunning spot with incredible views and equally impressive food. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, perfect for a special night out or a cozy dinner. The menu showcases local ingredients with real care, and every dish feels thoughtfully prepared. A must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience by the water.

Wonderful outdoor patio experience, got there before it became too crowded and loved the view of Bonaventure lake beach, great sounds, music was perfect, atmosphere was amazing, and servers were very passionate 😁 would recommend to a friend, 9.8/10, indoor dining area was straight from the set of a culinary movie!!! Had our wedding here couple years ago & also dine yearly for our anniversary. It’s always a hit with the food and service! The ambience is romantic and perfect for a wedding!

We dined here for the first time for their new years eve menu. The ambience was great and it was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The staff gave us a choice of where to sit which was a nice touch. We did get a couple of the wine pairings with the meal, and they were expertly paired! The meal itself was delicious and offered a nice variety of flavors with each course. Very well done. The service was fantastic and all the staff were very attentive. We will definitely be back in the summer to check out the view once the lake is thawed, and to enjoy another meal.

One of the nicest spots I’ve been to downtown. The drinks were so well made and exactly what I was looking for. The ambiance is beautiful—cozy but still lively, with music and lighting that makes you want to stay longer. The staff were really friendly and made the experience even better. Definitely coming back!

11:59 was the perfect cocktail bar/lounge for a girls night! I came here after dinner and the vibe and aesthetic was exactly what I was looking for - quiet and dreamy, and ideal for late night chats. The cocktails were amazing - our favourites were the Amethyst and Coconut Noir (the best espresso martini!). For food, we had the charcuterie board and beef sliders, both of which were great bites to snack on! Can’t wait to come back to try their other cocktails and snacks!

Cozy cafe-turned-bar! Spacious and pretty decent seating. Good volume for easy conversation without it feeling too quiet. Relatively casual but the drinks were good too. 11:59 and pear sour were my favourites. The melon blossom was not good at all. Do not get that one. Otherwise I would totally come back for drinks! Good menu was very limited but to be expected from a bar. I didn’t try anything as nothing really appealed to me. Overall pretty good experience.

No bill splitting for >= 6 people and 18% gratuity is included.

We recently hosted a private graduation party for our university class of 90 people, and the experience was absolutely flawless. From start to finish, the team went above and beyond, exceeding all our expectations. The event was held from 7-11 pm, and we loved the fact that we could curate our own playlist, which they played seamlessly throughout the evening – it really helped set the perfect vibe!

The food and drinks were outstanding, with a variety that pleased every guest. They even went the extra mile to accommodate dietary restrictions, ensuring everyone felt included. A huge thank you to Kate for her incredible help in organizing the event. She was attentive, detail-oriented, and truly made the planning process a breeze.

We hosted our engagement party at 11:59 this past Saturday and I can't recommend this venue and their incredible team enough! From start to finish, the experience was flawless.

Kate, the Events Coordinator, was a dream to work with. She ensured every detail was perfect and made the planning process seamless. Kate was quick to respond to emails, provided thoughtful recommendations for food and drinks (which were *chef's kiss*), and went above and beyond to ensure everything was labeled for our guests with food allergies and sensitivities. On the day of the event, she handled setup and teardown with ease and even stepped in as our backup bartender - and absolutely rocked it!

Isabella, our server for the evening, was equally incredible. She managed food service for our 50 guests with care, professionalism, and impressive speed. She checked in throughout the night to make sure everything was going smoothly and that we were happy - and we absolutely were!

The food was a huge hit with all of our guests, and the espresso martinis are to die for! Everyone is still raving about the cocktails and vibes.

The entire team at 11:59 was phenomenal and I’d highly recommend them for private events, date nights, girls’ nights, you name it. If you’re looking for a venue with excellent service, fantastic food, and a team that truly cares about making your event special, 11:59 is the place to go.

This intimate restaurant surprises with thoughtful cooking and warm, attentive service. Each dish was crafted with balance and care, elevating familiar flavors into something memorable.
We began with Tiger Shrimp-five plump shrimp in a creamy white wine and garlic sauce, rich and refined. The Beets & Goat Cheese Salad offered contrast: roasted beets, goat cheese, orange, and seeds over fresh greens, all tied together with a house balsamic dressing. A raspberry sorbet intermezzo was a refreshing and elegant pause before the mains.
The Beef Truffle Pasta was indulgent: tagliatelle tossed with tender beef tenderloin in a velvety truffle cream, finished with Parmesan. The Duck-while its skin wasn't crisp-was flavorful and tender, its sweet orange reduction complemented by caramelized fig, apple, and oven-roasted potatoes.
We ended with a Polish Pavlova and a chocolate brownie, both well-executed, along with a smooth Americano.
Every plate impressed. We'll be back-and soon.

Very late post… Our dinner started with an amuse bouche of seared beef with warm slices of crostini's which are made in house everyday, all this labour of love and no wonder they're only opened for dinner. Followed by Antipasti of Fresh tiger shrimp in white wine sauce and Paste of fruite de mare made of al dente Linguine with fresh seafood (mussels, clams, shrimp, scallops, crab leg, calamari) in homemade tomato sauce.
I find the starters and mains we tried leaned heavily towards an Italian heritage. Their desserts is where it expands into different European territories, with a small but varied selection we decided on apple tart and chocolate souffle which came with a warning of a 12 minute wait. I was really excited for the soufflé but what actually arrives would generally be considered a molten lava cake. While it was a very good rendition of the dessert not too sweet and chocolatey I would have preferred it a bit more airy.
At the end of the meal which is very traditional formal European dining, a digestif shots of either lemoncello or Zoladkowa Gorzka (an herby orange liqueur), was offered to us. Overall it was a very good meal with beautiful atmosphere and amazingly friendly attentive but not overbearing Staff. This restaurant really made me feel I was in Europe and I must say a very good addition to the neighbourhood.

After reading the reviews, I was looking forward to dining at 12 Tables, however, the food was quite disappointing. For starters, we ordered the Wagyu meatball and mussels. I can say the only good thing about the Starters were both sauce are decent...but both dishes were overcooked, and also both didn't blend well the sauce..

For the main course, we had the seafood pasta (frutti di mare). The pasta was slightly too firm and could have been softer. The sauce was fine, but the shrimp was overcooked, and the squid, along with the rest of the seafood, was nothing special.

The biggest disappointment was the duck. When I cut into it, the meat quickly fell apart, almost as if the chef had mashed it together and covered it with the skin. The texture was not tender—it resembled meat typically found in soup. The only redeeming quality of the dish was its presentation, which was well done.

On a positive note, I appreciated the complimentary bread (although it was cold) and the small side dish. Additionally, after the starters, they provided a raspberry sorbet to cleanse the palate, which was a nice touch.

What saved this experience from a lower rating was the service. The staff was attentive and accommodating, making this review a three stars..if only the chef improves their cooking skills, the overall experience would have been a lot better.

P.s. Parking isn't easy here...

We have been to this restaurant a number of times. It’s conveniently on Avenue Rd and parking is usually easy. The restaurant only has 12 tables and it’s always full in weekends. We enjoyed each visit. All the dishes were created in house. I love all we ordered. Except the sea bass was a bit disappointment at one time. The black cord is tender and well favored. The orange ducking comes with some yummy fruits that added nice flavors to the dish, wish it comes with some green veg instead of too many grilled potatoes…well they were so yummy but just too filling of ‘meat and potatoes’ kind of dish. The prices are reasonable and the service is always good.

I found 12 Tables on Google, read their reviews, and decided to give it a try for our anniversary dinner. We loved the atmosphere of the restaurant (clean, classy, but also cozy) friendly and attentive staff (Amber was amazing), and the food (we loved the Caesar salad, lobster pasta which was a daily special, and all deserts!). They surprised us with a dessert plate with a “Happy Anniversary” message in the end which made our evening extra special. We will definitely go back.

The staff, the rooms, the location.... This is everything you could ever want in a hotel.
The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The views of the river from all rooms we've stayed at are very nice and romantic at night.
You're right in the heart of the old city and there is so much to do in walking distance.

We had the most amazing stay here at the end of May. The location is excellent with easy walking everywhere. Our room was beautiful and spacious with a great view over the harbour.

We loved our cozy room with its gorgeous water views—it felt so peaceful and was a great spot to unwind. The room was spotless and had everything we needed, though the bed was a bit on the lumpy side. We could hear some loud door-slamming from other guests, which wasn’t ideal, but overall, it was a relaxing stay.

The toiletries in the shower were running low, but we didn’t ask for more since shared ones aren’t our favourite (we don’t like the idea of previous guests tampering with them). The front desk team was amazing and made late checkout super easy. Valet parking was a little over $50 a night, and they took excellent care of our large SUV—no scratches, which we really appreciated!

Dining on the terrace the first night was such a treat. The views were stunning, the service was wonderful, and the food was absolutely delicious. Yes, it was a bit pricey, but totally worth it for the experience. Would happily stay and dine here again!

I don’t even know where to begin, our stay at Auberge du Vieux-Port was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality that set the tone for the entire trip. Every single detail of our stay was thoughtfully curated, and it truly felt like a home away from home, with a luxurious twist.

The room was stunning, exposed brick walls, wooden beams, and massive windows overlooking the St. Lawrence River made it feel like we were in a romantic movie. The bed was ridiculously comfortable, the bathroom was pristine and well-stocked, and I couldn’t get enough of the little touches like plush robes, fancy toiletries, and complimentary coffee and water.

Breakfast at Taverne Gaspar every morning was such a treat, delicious, fresh, and made to order. And don’t even get me started on the rooftop terrace. Watching the sunset with a cocktail in hand while the city buzzed below us was pure magic.

The location couldn’t be more perfect. Right in the heart of Old Montreal, we were steps away from incredible restaurants, charming boutiques, and beautiful historic sites. Yet, inside the hotel, it was quiet and peaceful, like a hidden oasis.

Above all, the staff made this experience extraordinary. Every single person we interacted with went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, happy, and having a great time.

Hands down, this was the best stay we've ever had. If you’re visiting Montreal and want a truly special experience, do yourself a favor and stay at Auberge du Vieux-Port. We’re already dreaming of coming back

I’m not easily impressed and I don’t usually write reviews, but this restaurant and especially Al, truly deserves it. We had a wonderful dinner here and were warmly welcomed by the very friendly staff. The atmosphere made our evening in Ottawa truly enjoyable. To top it all off, we were served a delicious dessert along with a selection of (dessert) wines, ensuring we could choose the perfect match. Such a beautiful way to end the night and our trip in Ottawa. :)

Delicious food, and none of the miniscule portions you expect from a fine dining establishment. Beautiful historic home built into a restaurant, though some rooms are quite loud when packed. We were celebrating a birthday and the kind waiter gave us a lovely dessert wine, gratis.

Great night at Beckta. Some innovative dishes and some great flavours... service is very laid back which can make it slow but they are letting you call the shots.

Wow wow wow! Highly recommend if you love tacos, guacamole, and beer! Im so glad my sister recommended this place and brought me. We had the classic 6 tacos (3 fish & 3 beef). I think i liked the fish more but both were tasty! The guacamole presentation is superb and the taste is amazing. The chips had such a good crunch. The taco salad was delicious too. ! The waitress was so kind. The atmosphere was great. Loved the umbrellas on top of the ceiling. I cannot wait to come back here again with my husband! It was such a great experience. I wish they opened one up in the north west near me!

I ordered chicken fajitas while my spouse wanted to have steak fajitas, as they ran out of steak, this was just 5.30pm though, my spouse ordered the same as me. Our friend had prawn tacos. Everything was so delicious and scrumptious. We also tried churros chips which were phenomenal. Our server was great as she did not push us away since we were catching up with our friend.
All in all, superb experience!!!

I like the vibe of this place for sure ! Food was good. Ironically i feel like we were expecting it to be SLIGHTLY better but I will give it another shot. It was still good. Pina Colada was spectacular.

Did takeout. The beef birria tacos were very very good. The chicken fajitas was also well made. During my wait for my takeout order, I looked around for what I saw in the waiting area that the decor and atmosphere is very inviting and playful. The servers who I interacted with were very cordial. I hope to try a proper sit-down dinner in this restaurant when time allows.

Spectacular is the minimum you can say about this place. From the first impression of the exterior of the unique and charming restaurant to the minute you depart you know one thing, You're coming Back! The service is exceptional, never for one minute do you want for anything. Me and my wife were on vacation and ended our trip in Calgary and I decided we would try this restaurant based on their reviews. I expected a nice evening, but what we got was great ambiance, great food, large portions, expert presentation, great value, first class service and a new place to come every time we are in town. The Bow Valley Ranche is a must for anyone wanting to try Calgary's finest! A+! Btw: special thanks to Oskar for the best service in town!

Reserved a table for lunch and had a remarkable time. The restaurant was courteous and prompt with their staff being very attentive and kind.

Leading into wonderful food with a gorgeous view both in and around the wonderfully maintained historically significant building to the area.

We chose to be seated inside and the decor and atmosphere was both calm and quiet.

Now the food itself was also spectacular with rich flavours without any overbearing saltiness or any greasiness at all. The whole experience was great and the course was actually quite filling on top of it all!
This goes for all 4-5 dishes between my wife and I.

Took a nice walk to digest the food and enjoy the scenery with a quick trip through the native gardens leading to Annie’s cafe which in itself was a great lead up to a pleasant walk.

Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to start their morning off in Fish creek with pleasant food and mood.

Absolutely adore this place! I took my husband here for his birthday a few months ago, and it was such a wonderful experience. The food, service, and atmosphere were simply amazing! I had the beef tenderloin, and I seriously have been thinking about it in my dreams. It is such a beautiful, historical building, making the ambience just impeccable. My husband and I were super full after our dinner, and we decided on not having a desert, and they even took the liberty of surprising us with a little plate of cakes! It was so sweet! My husband booked us our next visit for my birthday, which I’m counting down the days for! Thanks again for such a nice dining experience. We can’t wait to come back soon, and are looking forward to seeing the space in autumn.

We ordered the weekday lunch special. The salad dressing was amazing. For the second main dish, I chose the pork — it looked delicious, but unfortunately, it lacked flavor. There was some sauce on top, but it wasn’t enough. We asked the server for extra sauce, but he didn’t bring it. I didn’t want to eat my food cold, so we ended up asking for salt and pepper instead.

The dessert was good.

This restaurant is very popular, and I haven’t seen any other weekday special courses like this one. The price was very reasonable, but I was a little disappointed with the main dish.

The location is perfect — it was a great place for brunch with my best friend.

We went here to celebrate our anniversary, and really happy we did. It is an awesome place, the atmosphere is special and the service was amazing ❤️ We loved the food, the steak was delicious. I recommend this place, we had an amazing time there and would consider going again. We also received two pieces of cake as a compliment, it was unexpected and sweet!
