Amanda and Lexine are single handedly responsible for the stress free wedding day that my husband and I were able to enjoy. We spent a year planning our day and Captivating Occasions was right there to provide guidance all along the way. The spreadsheet that these two put together to keep our wedding day on track was so appreciated by not only us but all our vendors. Amanda and Lexine ran our rehearsal, set up our decor, ran our wedding day and came back late in the evening to take everything down and pack up. As the Bride and Groom we truly didn't have to worry about a thing all day and not to mention our parents and bridal party were also able to fully enjoy the day. Amanda and Lexine created a group chat with us and were available for questions leading up to the wedding, and also sent us a bunch of behind the scenes pictures and videos from the day of which was an unexpected surprise. Held a small (under 50 person) wedding here over the Thanksgiving weekend, we sure lucked out with weather! This little gem was perfect for our family and friends to gather. An old house, but with cute accents and details. It was perfect. We did leave a note with those minor technical issues! They had folding chairs and tables, I was able to tuck away the house decor in the cupboards and put up our table clothes, decor and floral arrangements!
Beds are a bit hard but wasn’t a huge make or break for me.
The huge deck out back really helped make it feel fun, and gave space for everyone to hang out and not be elbow to elbow inside. For the back yard we got more leaves to cover some of the patchy grass from autumn, but a decently sized yard. Highly recommend for a cozy feeling! I will cherish the memories made here.

I truly cannot speak more highly of our designer Rachel and how she created the perfect wedding invitations for us. Rachel respected our style, budget and timeline. Like most 2020 brides, I have had to deal with a lot of last minute decisions in regards to my wedding. When I reached out to Stephita, it was a late evening, wine drinking, google scramble to desperately find a place to help me get invitations for a date just over 2 months away. Stephita's understanding was so comforting and refreshing. I came in with an idea of what I was wanted and she helped us put the whole thing together stress free :)

Strathmore & area has a tremendous amount of very talented people & it’s wonderful to see examples of their work all in one place. Whether you visit just to learn about the history of the building, which in itself is interesting, or to check out the artisan’s creations, you will enjoy your
experience. Open 10-4 Monday to Friday. I’ll make sure to get some pictures the next time I’m in.

The Vault has a wonderful collection and display of local art. Highly recommend you visit and check them out and support local!

Wonderful experience here! I'm a newbie and have only patronized one shop where I'm from, but was in town for a kids hockey tournament and this anxious mama needed some help surviving the crowd.
The location itself is convenient, and welcoming. Very clean and bright. The staff was friendly right from entering, and listened to exactly what my needs were to make recommendations based on their own experiences. I picked two new things to try, within my comfortable dose, and even got one of them on a deal. Thank you for being so awesome to shop with!

Now, I would like to start by saying I have always had a 5 star experience here, up until my last visit on June 5th.
I submitted my order online as I usually do as I try to make it as easy as possible when I come in as I am super indecisive, well normally I get an e-mail within 10 minutes or so saying my order is ready for pickup, well, not this time. After about 2 hours of waiting I decided to just go to the store because at this point they were closing in under a half an hour and didn't want to cause anyone to have to stay late. Well I get there, and myself and one other gentleman walk in at the same time to find the store completely empty with nobody behind the till, and the phone ringing and not being answered, it stayed this was for at least 10 minutes until the older lady with grey hair comes in the front door chatting with a couple of other people, which is fine, I assume there was a reason for her absence in the store and I was not upset at all about having to wait.
She comes behind the counter and picks up the phone, to which from what I could hear was another customer who had placed an online order that was not ready as well, to which she was very defensive on the phone about how she doesn't have time to check, and that they just need to come in instead. So at this point there is 5 or 6 people including myself waiting to be seen, she helps the gentleman that originally came in at the same time as me and then goes to the back to grab another employee who was doing inventory, or something of the sort, to come help up front. So he comes in and welcomes me with a friendly smile and personality as usual, I have always had incredible service from him and I wish I could remember his name. Anyways, I explain to him that I placed an online order a couple of hours ago, but I don't think it has been picked yet, to which before he can say anything the older lady from the other side of the counter who was dealing with another customer stops mid sentence with her customer to proclaim "HA! That's what I have to say to that!" whilst looking at me, which then caused the store to go quiet, and everyone else in the store to look at me as if I had done something wrong, which as someone who has social anxiety, really made me feel quite self conscious and uncomfortable.
Since 2019 I have been almost entirely loyal to Fire and Flower, and after adding up only my online orders I have spent a total of $7,266.18 in this store. That is an average of almost $1,500 a year, which to me, is a fair bit of money. I can honestly say, because of this experience, I likely will not be back, which is unfortunate, because every other employee I have dealt with has been incredible every single time. I don't know if she was having a bad day or if something was going on for her personally, but the way I was treated, and the level of integrity towards her place of employment was not acceptable.
I hope that this review can serve to help the management and owners understand that one negative experience from a single interaction can have significant financial repercussions on the business as a whole.
Going forward I will likely be taking my business to Canna Cabana in East Hills, as I have always been treated well.
I hope that one day maybe I can give Fire and Flower a chance again, but at this time I do not feel comfortable walking in the door.

I got my business cards in less than an hour. Not kidding. Literally under an hour after sending the pdf with my design. For $30. Who does that? I mean that in the best possible way.

Let me reiterate: $30 for 50 cards. Most other places charge for a minimum of 100 to 150. Why would I pay $76 for a hundred cards? Maybe there are some people who want that many, not me. How many networking events must you go to to spend a hundred business cards? A lot. You must be high powered which is totally okay but I'm not.

Anyway save yourself the hassle and just make the call to Kkp. Awesome! 👍

This was my first time ever that I need some 3D printing done. I came in talked with Tim. He was a big help walking through the process and explaining how it works. We were able to get my bezel done for a Goldwing gl1500 stereo adapter to fit a modern 9” touch screen Apple car play stereo. It fits great.

Maria did an amazing job for the stationary. We had a velvet forest green enveloppe and the invitation was sealed with wax. It was absolutely beautiful and luxury like I wanted.

She took our ideas, and made sure we got what we wanted (even though we didn't know what we wanted!). Through 1 video meet and a couple emails Suzy created stunning invitations we couldn't wait to send out. On top of an already incredible experience, Suzy explained there were somes issues (that we could not see) so as a result we got not 1, but 2 sets of envelopes. Suzy is a perfectionist and because of this throughout the whole process she had our trust. We know whenever we need any invitations, for any event we will go to Toronto Wedding invitations and Suzy first!

We needed to print addresses and names of guests on envelopes we had already purchased from another vendor. Most of the other printing locations turned us away due to the color/texture of the envelope and did not give us much time or consideration. Kevin really took his time to work with our layout and design and did a beautiful job with our envelopes! This on top of being super responsive and getting the job done so quickly. Thank you Kevin!

We went to Paper Ideas for our Wedding Invitations. And we felt so comfortable and happy with our decision from the second that we walked in. Kevin was so attentive and helped us determine our style and design with such ease. This was the part of the wedding process we felt indifferent by, but he made the experience really nice and easy; and in the end we were REALLY proud of what we were sending out to our guests. Very happy with our experience, and waiting to find a next paper project so that I can support this very professional and creative small business (especially during these crazy 2020 times).

I had my invitations pre-designed and was looking for a local print shop to print my stationery. The quality of their work was fantastic; unfortunately though, I found Kevin to be standoffish and unhelpful. After explaining to him what I was looking for (I was simply looking to print my designs on heavy white cardstock) he said he'd get back to me shortly with an estimate on his services. I didn't hear back from him for a week so I followed up, and still did not hear back from him. I ended up printing my invitations somewhere else and couldn't be happier.

I recently had my invitations printed and assembled at Paper Ideas. Sam & Arna were great. They took lots of time to discuss our options and explain our limitations. They completed the order quickly and even allowed me to stuff the envelopes at their shop. Our design was unusual and they did a fantastic job of sourcing the paper and envelopes as well as printing and assembling the invitations.

I ordered my wedding invitations from Stephita, they sent me lots of samples and I ended up making a custom invitation with them. They were amazing to work with and my invitations turned out amazing, I got many comments from guests on how they were the most beautiful invitations they had ever seen! Best if all the price was so reasonable compared to some others I had looked at, not only were the others more expensive they also didn’t have the selection and customization that I was looking for. Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend them!

Tyson helped me finalize and had my invitations shipped literally within 48 hours of my initial inquiry because I needed to make a rush order. They were in my hands a few days later, and looked beautiful. Highly recommend!
