We had our wedding ceremony at the Garret and a cocktail-style wedding reception at the Pioneer in February 2024 and everything was perfect. Great communication and support leading up to our big day and execution on the day of was flawless.

Both venues have such great vibes on their own that we really didn't need to do much from a decor perspective, and opted to just enhance the buildings' incredible features with lighting, florals and candles - though the possibilities are truly endless. We received feedback from our guests (many from out of town) that the location was great as it was easily accessible and it was fun to be right in the action on Stephen Avenue.

The service from the SugarWater team on the bar was excellent - though we had a crowd of big drinkers there was never a line at the bar and our guests loved not only the craft cocktails but the really thoughtful selection of wines and local beers and seltzers.

We would highly, highly recommend the Pioneer for a wedding or any other event, celebration or gathering. Thank you to the whole team!

On June 11 Epilepsy Association of Calgary hosted 130 guests, performers, artists and event volunteers and at its inaugural Purple Day by Night fundraising gala at The Pioneer. This was such a special night and the venue itself added to the magic of a bustling late spring evening on Stephen Avenue. Guests and event volunteers were pleased with all aspects of the event and we've booked the venue for 2023. Thank you Heather Coke and team for your patience and helpful guidance in making our night a success!

It was an absolute pleasure to provide technology for a private event for XERO here! Plenty of available circuits with good ampage, accommodating staff (particularly Wyatt), and reasonably good loading dock access (given it's downrown). Would be happy to work here again; thanks, folks! :)

Invited here for a live music event that turned out to be much more than we all thought it would be. We thought we were going to see four musicians play their sets, but instead for a musicians sat facing each other told a series of stories and then rift off each other for the entire evening in a delightful and experiential entertainment event. It's a beautiful space and I look forward to my next visit and Calgary to see what they might be hosting then.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about our stay here! We got married at Le Belvédère and stayed at the grand the night before our wedding. Yannick and Jo were so sweet and accommodating. Breakfast was perfect! We arranged flowers at the big harvest tables and hosted our rehearsal dinner here as well. All the guests loved the space, especially the outdoor area! Would 100% stay here again!!! ⭐️

having a space with our wedding venue that we could host all of our friends and family was really important for our celebration. At first, some of our close ones were a bit skeptical, but every single one was blown away by the property. Rooms are comfortable and airy, even those with bunk beds were spacious. Everything is very well maintained and new. The grounds are beautiful and the proximity even to Klimat, a gym and a restaurant, were well appreciated.

On top of it, Yannick and Joanne are an amazing team who were flexible and attentive to our needs. The breakfast is also delicious, and saved more than one late raiser’s day.

Can’t recommend enough using the house for a stay or an event.

I had my own event coordinator supporting the day of in addition to the venues (Chloe) everything ran smoothly and was lovely!

Food was delicious - no tasting needed, they nailed each dish. The Kate night pizza station was a hit - we even had extra which the staff kindly kept packed for us to take home the next day.

They have takeaway containers which is always helpful in case of extra food from the day/night, just maybe ask for a few since the staff all leave by around midnight!

Thank you for an incredible experience - all of our guests were in love with the property and it's magic!

We had an August wedding and the mosquitos were not as bad as we imagined! Yannick did tell us it won't be too bad and we shouldn't have doubted him! A few minor bites but nothing an after itch can't soothe. The venue has all the essentials and is really accommodating. Thank you again!

I originally had issues with not being able to adjust the temperature in my room, the shower not functioning properly, extremely uncomfortable pillows and a hard mattress.

Yannick reached out to offer me a full refund to remove my review. I believed an updated positive review indicating that Yannick reached out and offered to address all my issues would more constructive for his business (it was a 4.5 star review). He disagreed.

As an avid reviewer I believe it is important for our voices and opinions to be heard. I don't think it is appropriate for business owners to offer money to have reviews removed.

We had a great time staying here with our friends after our wedding. Yannick and his team were incredibly kind and responsive.

We got married at Twist at the end of August 2025. We immediately loved the venue when we first visited, but we also really appreciated the approach of Nadia and her team. They are so organized, practical, and kind. We worked mostly with Nimna, Nadia, and Marisa leading up to the day and Kevin coordinating during the event. Twist provides really helpful planning document and a floor plan that made me look like the most organized bride. The venue was beautiful and everything turned out even better than we had envisioned! We received so many compliments on the bartenders, staff, the venue, and the food from our guests. Our wedding was so smooth and felt effortless to us. We couldn't have asked for anything more.

We recently had our wedding at Twist Gallery, and it was an unforgettable experience! The venue is stunning—warm, elegant, full of charm, and has a unique artistic vibe that made our day feel truly special.

Nimna, Marisa, and Kevin were fantastic to work with. They were organized, responsive, and ensured everything ran smoothly, both during planning and on the big day. Day of, their professionalism allowed us to fully relax and enjoy every moment.

The bar and wait staff were both friendly and attentive. We received many compliments on the food, which was not only delicious but also thoughtfully prepared to accommodate various dietary needs.

Our band, Elfrida, had no issues setting up all their band equipment for both the ceremony and reception—everything worked seamlessly in the space and they sounded awesome!

We can’t recommend Twist Gallery enough for weddings or special events, and we’re excited to return to enjoy the rotating art exhibitions.

We got married at twist in July 2025. We had an unusual wedding - no dancing and no alcoholic. We were going to play music. Nadia and Nimna were fantastic at understanding our vision, giving suggestions, and helping make our day PERFECT.

Meeting and Planning: Throughout the meeting and event planning, we really appreciated how much they let us do our own thing on our own time, while still helping us keep organized. Their documents were perfectly outlined to help. When we had trouble figuring out table settings since we didn’t want to do flowers, they sent us many photo ideas. They helped us figure out logistics of floor plan and more.

Day Of - Atmosphere: They let us come in the day before to drop off boxes. Nimna and I went through them all to make sure she knew where things were. On the day of, when my husband and I arrived to set up our music, they were already there setting up for the wedding. They perfectly arranged everything. The space looked beautiful, everything was organized, and they did outstanding at making sure the space was perfect. The gallery was stunning. They were also incredibly fast at moving the chairs from the ceremony to the reception. The staff also had everything boxed up for us for a couple days later to pick up.

Day of - Kevin. Kevin did an amazing job with allergies and intolerances. He also helped with two of our families who used the chairlift. They were both treated with immense dignity and respect in a vulnerable situation.

Day of - Catering Team and Bartenders: having a non-alcoholic drinks bar was definitely outside of the norm but the staff were amazing. They always gave me extra cherries in my drink because they knew i liked them. We also had a family member with dementia who they helped so kindly and graciously. The catering team was efficient, attentive, and fantastic. I’ve never seen a wedding where food was out so quickly. They did a fantastic job with a last minute seating change that they handled without me or my husband knowing. They also were alway serving water, which for me was a huge plus. The food was fantastic. Multiple people commented that it was the best catering they’ve ever seen.

Day of - Security: The security was fantastic. Since it is above a bar, they had security included in the venue. He was dressed in a lovely professional suit and was so kind to our guests. He helped some of our older people up and down the stairs and went above and beyond.

Overall, we truly had the best day. And not to brag, I think the best wedding i’ve ever been to (not just because it was mine).

I would really encourage anyone and everyone to consider twist as the space for their wedding. Not just because it’s a beautiful space, you can make many spaces beautiful. It’s the staff and team there that make it truly a wedding venue of your dreams. Truly we couldn’t have dreamed of a more perfect day. I’ve never been to a wedding where it felt like nothing went wrong, until I worked with Twist.

I saw comments about the sound from the bar below, yes you could hear it, and that might impact weddings with dancing, but for us, we barely noticed it.

My husband and I were absolutely thrilled with our wedding at Twist! We had a destination wedding a few months before so we were able to compare planning for both and I cannot emphasize enough how much easier it was to plan our celebration at Twist!!! The staff were incredibly organized and made planning super easy and stress free! They were so accommodating with all of our requests and went above and beyond trying to make our day as special as possible. All pricing was super transparent and costs were incredibly reasonable. The food was absolutely delicious and we loved the intimate vibe of the space. Would 10000% recommend!!!!!

Twist Gallery was the perfect winter wedding venue! If you want to simplify your wedding planning without compromising a on a beautiful venue with top quality food and service I'd highly recommend. The stunning loft-style space with skylights, wooden beams, twinkly lights, and artwork create a beautiful ambiance. We hired a florist but had no other decor brought in and the place was stunning. Gusto’s catering was exceptional; our guests are still raving about the delicious food and top-notch service. Nadia and Nimna were fantastic to work with, always prompt and helpful. Highly recommend Twist Gallery for anyone looking for a unique and elegant event space!

This hotel hyped this venue up way too much for my liking. My Aunt decided to throw her 55th birthday party at venue twenty two this past weekend and it turned out disastrous! The dinner before the actual party which was at The Shore Club restaurant was awful, everyone who ordered the steak dinner ended up with what I’m assuming to be food poisoning because they all had to run to the washroom multiple times throughout the night. There were also finger foods that were prepared for the party that the staff put out way too early after the dinner(this was an invite only party so the guest that were at the dinner were the same guest to attend the party) and it ended up going to waste for the most part because it was only 15-20 mins after everyone went upstairs that the food went out. To top it off the staff ended up packing up all of the food because then they decided it was “left out too long” which is understandable, but the point being was that the food should have not been brought out until later that evening that way everyone could have enjoyed it. The staff also treated the attending DJ horribly as they kept telling him to turn the music down in a room which advertised to be “soundproof”. We didn’t want the music blasting, but loud enough for us to be able to enjoy it in a room that size. We weren’t able to hear it because they continuously interrupted the DJ telling him to turn it down Needless to say the money that was spent on this party went to waste and I do not recommend renting this venue after the way we were treated. Do better Westin, this was very disappointing.

We recently hosted our wedding at Venue Twenty Two. We can’t express enough how perfectly the service was orchestrated by the Westin. The food was delicious and served in a timely manner! The venue is beyond beautiful. The floor to ceiling windows offered amazing views of downtown Ottawa and the sunset was breathtaking from up there! Our coordinator was Kayla Camus leading up to the event and Mariam on the day of. They were both so professional, organized and answered my many many questions promptly! Thank you both so much! We would recommend the Westin/Venue Twenty Two to any future brides/grooms!

Wonderful venue, recently attended a cocktail reception in this space, located on the 22nd floor of the Westin Ottawa. There are wrap around windows with expansive views of the city, highlighted by the Parliament Buildings and the Fairmont Chateau Laurier. The bartenders and service staff were friendly and efficient with serving guests and I noticed that they were extra diligent in keeping the room tidy throughout the event. This is an excellent choice for business and personal functions!

Beautiful conference room with breath taking views of Ottawa and stunning sunset. Elegance and always pleased with Westin services. I love the fragrances and always purchase some for my home.

Really cool venue with a great view of downtown Ottawa. We had our work Christmas party there (apps and drinks) food and service was great. The 270° view of ottawa was breathtaking.

Waterfront was a great choice for our day, we are very happy we chose this venue. Jade was great and thought of everything we needed. She helped us make sure the day ran smoothly and gave us lots of helpful tips. The staff was great at setting up the venue. The florals and decor provided by the venue was exactly what I wanted. The few things that didn't go perfectly, Simply Elegant made up for in a professional and timely manner. Would absolutely recommend this venue for any wedding!

Beautiful Spot, Slightly Off on Service Timing
Waterfront Park is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the views. The atmosphere is great, and overall, I had a really nice time. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I went to the bar at 5:28, and was asked to come back at 5:30. It felt a bit rigid considering it was just a 2-minute difference. Other than that, it was a great experience and I’d still recommend it!

I cannot recommend Waterfront Parks enough. Peter and Jade went well above and beyond, helping us plan a short notice wedding (we booked less than three months prior to the date in an effort to minimize covid related changes), navigating trying times, and providing unparalleled service. Jade is even pictures in our wedding photos adjusting my dress prior to walking down the isle, and Peter met us on the limo bus to help "hide" me from the guests prior to the service. They were like family throughout the process and I honestly don't think we would have pulled off the wedding of our dreams without them. The venue is stunning, location is ideal, the food was delicious (and catered to all sorts of weird dietary issues), and the decor was spot on. If you're thinking about booking waterfront parks with simply elegant, stop thinking and book it. You won't regret it!

Our son’s wedding was at the Waterfront Park Apr. 29th, it was absolutely amazing. The location is breathtaking even in early Spring, just imagine how stunning it will be in the summer…. Also included with the rental of the location is full set up and take down. The flowers were absolutely amazing. The staff from start to finish were so amazing, very responsive, very accommodating, and showed that they really care and want the best for their customers. I only added a picture of the brides bouquet as all of our other pictures have our guests in them, so sadly am not able to add any of the pictures to show how beautiful everything was set up for our son and now wife’s wedding day. The whole time there was magical. Everyone that attended was so impressed. Thank you

Had an event at the tent here. Amazing venue, tons of parking, friendly staff. Only downside we had access to only two bathrooms which with 100 people wasn’t ideal but made it work.

Words cannot describe how grateful we are for Michael and Nancy. They brought our entire wedding vision to life in a way that was more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. Every detail; the florals, the stationery, the chairs, the table settings, was absolutely stunning.

What impressed us just as much as the artistry was the care and tireless work they put in behind the scenes. They thought of everything, made the process seamless, and created an atmosphere that took our breath away. Our guests are still raving about how gorgeous everything looked, and we know it’s thanks to their incredible talent.

As a local Wedding Planner, I have worked with Wedecor since 2011 and have always had my couples extremely happy with their design and decor. So much so that it is very common to have tears of joy when we do a room reveal with them before opening the doors to guests. Nancy's ability to design a gorgeous wedding is unbelievable, making suggestions that align with our couples vision but also adding in ideas they never had thought of. Their inventory is also the largest in the city with new additions coming in for every wedding season so it just grows and grows! They are also the preferred decorator and florist at many venues which can help with things like earlier access for set ups. Highly recommend!

Awesome! I had an amazing experience at this Middle Eastern restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavors and perfectly prepared. The restaurant itself is spacious, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal with family or friends.

Another great thing is the location—it’s almost in the city center, making it easy to find. Plus, there’s plenty of parking nearby, so there are no issues with parking at all.

Highly recommend this place for anyone who loves great Arabic food and a welcoming atmosphere!

Had our wedding reception at White Diamond. The best thing was the food, 10/10. Adam the owner is very kind and has an amazing culinary background.
Issues we encountered - All service and business integrity related.
-We had roughly 200 guests and there were only 1-2 servers on the floor, our contract said there would be minimum 8 servers. No one to serve us any drinks either (bride and groom), had to get our own family members to bring us drinks
-Bar line ups were very long, 3 bartenders but looked like they were in training and very inefficient
-Tables were not cleared after dinner, 200 dirty plates were left on tables all night
-They tried blaming us for their old, malfunctioned elevator that none of our guests could use from the start during the entire event. They did not give our security deposit back for over a month overdue as the contract stated security deposit to be returned 2 weeks after event. After we questioned them and put out our witnesses/facts then we finally got our deposit back from one of the other employees who was very helpful. (We were sending emails and texts for over a month while getting ignored on this topic)

This is the constructive feedback I have for White Diamond. It is important to keep communication and integrity with a client to keep a business relationship on a high note.
Our wedding was very successful because of the heart and months of planning we put into it but the service could have been better.

Wilma was very friendly and warm the whole time we worked with her. She has many templates prepared and will assist you in writing your vows. Wilma was so helpful in creating the perfect ceremony to capture us as a couple. Wilma was professional and so helpful at our rehearsal. We highly recommend Wilma as an officiant.

Wilma was absolutely incredible as our officiant! She really captured us beautifully as a couple in our wedding ceremony. She was creative and even added in a part of our printed thank you note to friends and family that she noticed at the venue, into the ceremony. She was also organized and patient at the rehearsal and helped us feel more comfortable for the big day. She is truly a gifted speaker and has such a warm and welcoming spirit about her. Thank you so much Wilma!

DO NOT RECOMMEND. The ceremony was NOT what Wilma had agreed to with the couple. Specific sentences and paragraphs that the couple asked to have removed, were not. The love story had many incorrect details, again, not what was agreed to. She power-tripped about 3 weeks prior to the ceremony, to the point where she left the bride in tears and the groom exacerbated, leaving both wishing there was another option. She was incredibly rude to guests and specifically the photographer, who was just trying to confirm a few details prior to the start of the ceremony (there was no rehearsal). She was arrogant, rude and just wanted to be "In charge" instead of working with the couples vision.

We met with Wilma on video chat and she was very kind and knowledgeable, and we chose her as our officiant. She had examples, templates and questionnaires and made our ceremony special. I loved how she guided us for our rehearsal as well, and completed our marriage license/certificate and would totally recommend Wilma.

We came across Wilma's website by chance and shortly after corresponding through email, we met her for the first time in person. From the moment that we first met, we knew we had to have her a part of our wedding. Her warm and personable demeanor, professionalism and thoroughness when going over the ceremony process convinced us that she was the perfect officiant to marry us.

We had originally planned to get married in November 2020 among a large number of guests, however due to the pandemic, we had to pivot and cancel our original large wedding (including date and venue). When we informed Wilma along with other vendors that we had to cancel our original wedding and explained that we were lost about whether to postpone our wedding or have a smaller wedding sooner, Wilma was the first person to call us and consoled us for the changes in plans. She reassured us that no matter what decision we chose, our day would be perfect. So, with that in mind, we decided to not postpone our wedding and got married in September 2020 with a smaller guestlist and the day turned out more perfect than we could have ever imagined.

Throughout the wedding planning process, Wilma got to know us personally, and with the uncertainty of COVID-19, she provided us with so much support by being so accommodating, flexible and understanding. Even though we got married on a cold day in September at an outdoor venue, Wilma's words during the ceremony were so personal and heartfelt that even some guests commented that they forgot how cold it had been while listening to her speak. The ceremony flowed beautifully. We thank you, Wilma, for everything you have done for us. No words can be enough to express our gratitude to you for being a part of our special day.

During a 10,000-mile North America road tour, IQtargets Art Museum of Human Goals' curator visited the Canadian Geographic and Royal Canadian Geographical Society. (RCGS) to invite participation in and discuss the "Portrait of a Nation" artwork, I can suggest the place as an ideal destination for family visits.
Education, learning, art, sightseeing, cinema, and even a hall are all available in this space.
The exhibition, titled PRESSURE: James Cameron into the Abyss, is free. 50 Sussex Drive is nestled amidst architectural gems in the heart of the city, with parking readily accessible. The venue accommodates special needs with doors at the bottom, maintains clean toilets, provides an elevator, and boasts a friendly and supportive staff. For younger visitors aged 6-12, there are tailored education programs. Guided tours, a park zone, and prompt decision-making.
Special appreciation for Mr.John Geiger and Tatiana 🇺🇦 for commissioning an amazing artifact, a map of the Ukrainian diaspora in Canada, starting at the end of the 18th century to today. It is a gesture of support by the RCGS for Ukraine.

Worth the short stop to see the Challenger exhibit about James Cameron's trip to the bottom of the ocean, Challenger Deep. Open until Sept 1st. Also, just a great location next to Rideau Falls and a wonderful view across the river to Quebec.

Awesome location that overlooks the falls and Ottawa River! Beautiful spot inside and great for hosting events. Gotta check this place out.

A beautiful location on the Ottawa River and nearby Rideau Falls. With lots of scenic decks and floor to ceiling windows it made for one of the nicest wedding locations i have ever been to. The meal was easily the best I have had at a wedding also!

Can't wait for this amazing venue to officially open!

We recently had our wedding here on July 6, 2024, and I could not say more great things about it. Everything from the coordination and communication to the beautiful property and charming venue - everything was absolutely amazing. Adelina Barn will always have a special place in our hearts.

As a wedding photographer, Adelina is one of my favourite countryside barn venues that's just a short drive from downtown Ottawa. The property is absolutely beautiful and is a great blend of elegant and rustic. Highly recommend Adelina for any couples looking for a barn venue that's more upscale.

Just married! Such a special experience at the Adelina Barn for our wedding. The venue was absolutely gorgeous, and all of the recommended vendors were excellent. The host was so calm and reassuring, and her and the rest of the staff were so friendly, communicative and organized! Would 10/10 recommend.

The venue was so beautiful (the gardens in July are amazing!), the staff were incredibly kind (catering done by Thyme & Again), and the whole day felt seamless (or as seamless as a wedding day can be baring a few minor hiccups - nothing to do with Adélina!) from start to finish. Michèle, the venue coordinator, and her team were helpful, organized, and supportive in the lead-up and on the big day itself. We had several calls with her to sort out details big and small and the Aisle Planner tool she uses is immensely helpful! Our guests had a blast, and we feel so lucky to have celebrated in such a beautiful and well-run space. Highly recommend!

A little late in writing this, as my husband and I wanted to take the time to find the right words to describe our incredible experience with Bean Town.

We were married here on August 25th, 2024, and our wedding day was everything we had hoped for—and more. From start to finish, the team at Bean Town made it all possible.

From the moment we began planning, the coordination with the Bean Town team was seamless. Caroline was absolutely amazing—patient, attentive, and always ready to answer our questions. Geneviève was so kind and understanding, bringing a calming presence on the wedding day. Meagan was also wonderful to work with, helping with planning and coordinating all the last-minute details. Before leaving, she even stopped by to check in with us personally to see if we needed anything before she left.

The bartenders were friendly, quick, and professional, and the chef even came to greet us during the cocktail hour, shared that he had been married at Bean Town himself, congratulated us, and brought us a drink—it was so sweet. Every member of the staff was incredibly attentive, making us feel cared for in every moment.

The entire team exceeded our expectations. Every detail was flawlessly executed, even the smallest details were anticipated. Because of them, we experienced a completely stress-free wedding day and were able to remain fully present in every moment.

The venue itself is breathtaking, but it was the people & staff who truly made the experience extraordinary.

Many of our family and friends told us it was the best wedding they had ever attended (even compared to their own!). Several even joked that they’d get married all over again just to do it at Bean Town.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue for our special day. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed and cared for. My biggest stress throughout the day was the temperature. Unfortunately, on our wedding day, it was a rainy day, but with the positivity of the staff and the different options for ceremony, it did not feel like a rainy day! As for Alisa, one of the wedding coordinators, she was by our side throughout the entire day! She helped with holding my drinks, holding my dress and staying on schedule with photos! It was amazing having her by our side.

Genevieve, the owner, was our wedding officiant. I highly recommend having her as your officiant! It was honestly a one of a kind ceremony! She is full of passion, energy and the ceremony was quite unique!

Words can honestly not express how incredible this entire team and venue is. My husband and I were married here two weeks ago and we are still glowing from the amazing day we had.

Every single guest has told us they LOVED the day - that the venue was beautiful (which it is), the food was excellent, and that it was one of the best weddings they had been to.

We had our wedding on a Friday and so were lucky to be able to rent the Casa Mila and Casa Lucas houses for an extra night on the Thursday evening (note that this is only possible for Friday weddings) and I would 10/10 recommend this. I was able to have my hair and makeup vendors come out to the venue and get ready with my bridal party on site which made the morning SO much more relaxing. The Casa's are beautiful and we managed to have 16 guests (family and bridal party) stay there with us on the Thursday and Friday nights which made the experience feel even more special. Everyone was so impressed by the amenities and how spacious the houses were.

On our wedding day the entire team was flawless. The on-site day of co-ordinators set up the entire venue perfectly and had honestly thought of everything. Their organization and efficiency was so impressive and it really made the day so much more enjoyable and stress-free for all of us.

We used Genevieve as our officiant and she was amazing. Warm and kind and so professional. We loved the way she stood in the aisle so that our photographer could get photos of us on our own. Many of our guests commented that they enjoyed her delivery of the ceremony and we were so pleased.

Honestly, I could go on and on about how amazing the day was and all the things this team did for us. But really the crux of it is that we would wholeheartedly and unreservedly recommend them as a wedding venue. Go for a tour and you'll see why for yourself!

We had such an incredible day at BeanTown and the entire staff were absolutely phenomenal. Absolutely every guest had an amazing time with spectacular reviews from the beauty of the location itself, the kindness of the staff, and the quality of the food. There were multiple surprises and little touches day of provided by the venue that we were not aware of making the day that much more special and fun! Getting ready at Casa Lucas was also so convenient, with a pathway out back leading right to the venue. Side note - comfiest sheets we have ever slept on. If we had to do it all again we would book this venue in a heartbeat, especially given how dog friendly the venue is and the fact the owners are allies in our love for Nickelback ;) Thank you to Guy, Genevieve, and the entire staff!

Spectacular is the minimum you can say about this place. From the first impression of the exterior of the unique and charming restaurant to the minute you depart you know one thing, You're coming Back! The service is exceptional, never for one minute do you want for anything. Me and my wife were on vacation and ended our trip in Calgary and I decided we would try this restaurant based on their reviews. I expected a nice evening, but what we got was great ambiance, great food, large portions, expert presentation, great value, first class service and a new place to come every time we are in town. The Bow Valley Ranche is a must for anyone wanting to try Calgary's finest! A+! Btw: special thanks to Oskar for the best service in town!

Reserved a table for lunch and had a remarkable time. The restaurant was courteous and prompt with their staff being very attentive and kind.

Leading into wonderful food with a gorgeous view both in and around the wonderfully maintained historically significant building to the area.

We chose to be seated inside and the decor and atmosphere was both calm and quiet.

Now the food itself was also spectacular with rich flavours without any overbearing saltiness or any greasiness at all. The whole experience was great and the course was actually quite filling on top of it all!
This goes for all 4-5 dishes between my wife and I.

Took a nice walk to digest the food and enjoy the scenery with a quick trip through the native gardens leading to Annie’s cafe which in itself was a great lead up to a pleasant walk.

Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to start their morning off in Fish creek with pleasant food and mood.

Absolutely adore this place! I took my husband here for his birthday a few months ago, and it was such a wonderful experience. The food, service, and atmosphere were simply amazing! I had the beef tenderloin, and I seriously have been thinking about it in my dreams. It is such a beautiful, historical building, making the ambience just impeccable. My husband and I were super full after our dinner, and we decided on not having a desert, and they even took the liberty of surprising us with a little plate of cakes! It was so sweet! My husband booked us our next visit for my birthday, which I’m counting down the days for! Thanks again for such a nice dining experience. We can’t wait to come back soon, and are looking forward to seeing the space in autumn.

We ordered the weekday lunch special. The salad dressing was amazing. For the second main dish, I chose the pork — it looked delicious, but unfortunately, it lacked flavor. There was some sauce on top, but it wasn’t enough. We asked the server for extra sauce, but he didn’t bring it. I didn’t want to eat my food cold, so we ended up asking for salt and pepper instead.

The dessert was good.

This restaurant is very popular, and I haven’t seen any other weekday special courses like this one. The price was very reasonable, but I was a little disappointed with the main dish.

The location is perfect — it was a great place for brunch with my best friend.

We went here to celebrate our anniversary, and really happy we did. It is an awesome place, the atmosphere is special and the service was amazing ❤️ We loved the food, the steak was delicious. I recommend this place, we had an amazing time there and would consider going again. We also received two pieces of cake as a compliment, it was unexpected and sweet!

Candle Night experience: it was great.. but a bit pricy! The place, the Jazz band, the set up with all the candles: such a lovely and romantic ambiance! Loved it!! But I would say that it was a bit pricy for exactly a 60min set (and the singer talked a lot between songs to tell us story which was great though). I wish they extend a bit the duration...that's it. But other than that, I highly recommend to live the experience!

Great place and great concert. The Aperol spritz had just the taste. I asked to fill with more Aperol. Thanks.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Canvas in October 2024 and couldn't have been happier with the experience. Beautiful space located near the canal, which was great for pictures. Food was very good, highly recommend any of the delicious canapés! We loved the unique bring your own alcohol option and the bartender John was awesome throughout the night. Can't say enough about how accommodating and caring Mike and his entire staff were throughout the evening and planning process. Prices are very reasonable and Mike is transparent and clearly outlines everything from the start. Overall we had an amazing time and would highly recommend Canvas!

We had our wedding there last week and it was absolutely amazing. From the food to the staff, everything exceeded our expectations. We received very positive feedback from our guests on the food. My mom and I did a brunch and paint and had an amazing time! The two girls were so helpful, and the painting class was SO approachable! Having both never painted before we were worried but we both left we something we totally love! Can’t wait to do another class.

We just had our wedding ceremony and reception at Canvas Montreal two weeks ago, and we could have not been more satisfied! Mike, he was fantastic at realizing all of our wishes and working together to create a unique space for our wedding! Carmen, John (the bartender) and the two other staff members that day/night were equally fantastic - keeping us and all of our guests happy throughout the entire evening! We cannot thank the staff enough for their kindness, laughter and the way they welcomed us. The space itself is beautiful, I call it a blank canvas. If you are someone who loves to make a space unique and your own, this cozy loft space is Perfect for you! And I should not forget to mention that the food was Delicious! All of our guests were happy to be served hot and tasty meals throughout our reception! We were 100 percent satisfied booking with Canvas for our special day. Not only were booking prices fair, but Mike was incredibly transparent with every single aspect of the space and the services they offer (which many other wedding venues which we researched hide their fees and services - Mike was always 100 percent and on the table). We felt so comfortable with him and his staff that I'm proud to say we would recommend Canvas to anyone as they make you feel comfortable, welcome and at home! Great food, welcoming atmosphere, and fantastic people! 10/10

I was hoping to get more photos from our photographer to show off this amazing venue, but also did not want to wait too long to post this review.

We had our wedding reception at Claireport Banquet Hall recently and words cannot describe how successful this night was. We found Jay during our hunt for a venue and for anyone that has gone through this process, venues and what they include these days have changed dramatically. We went to 5 different places, and none of them came close to including the setup, support and staff that Claireport had to offer. We did not require a decorator for this event (not the same at the other empty looking venues) because their backdrop and stage was their standard included in booking. This also extended to table settings, entrance decorations etc, all included which is a tremendous bonus. Next Jay walked us through all of the decision making for this night and offered and welcomed changes to accommodate us and family needs along the way. We were not able to set up a tasting for the South Asian menu, and it was something that we were worried about initially, but Jay insisted that the food was top quality and met the standards we were expecting. Even two weeks after the event finished, we are still getting incredibly high praises for the food and the way that it was presented. I won’t ruin the surprise, but I can say that this is still one of the most talked about moments in our event!! When Jay says he has a plan and will take care of you, just trust him! We are so thankful so everyone at the hall and can’t thank them enough for making our wedding reception one of the best nights of our lives. Big thank you to the staff, to Naresh, and to Mannat for keeping everything moving the night of and a special thanks to Jay for taking care of us and going the extra mile on every aspect of our special night!

Just had our wedding their this past weekend! Loved the layout of the venue. The manager, Kayla, is incredibly attentive, responsive, and accommodating. We had a lot of unique features to our wedding but Kayla and her staff were able to accommodate them all. The chef and staff are also incredibly kind and talented-- loved the set up our reception and ceremony, and the food was also great and very friendly for guests with allergy. Pricing is also very reasonable and love the location-- very convenient!

We recently had our wedding here! From the initial meeting, all the way to our wedding the Croatian Centre was amazing to work with. Kayla and her team really went above and beyond to make our day extra special. From having very particular requests from certain family members, the Croatian Centre was able to accommodate and make our lives easy. We had our wedding reception at the Croatian Canadian Cultural Centre recently and I highly recommend it!! The Centre has beautiful decorations, fantastic food, and the staff was outstanding. Kayla was my main point of contact and she was incredibly helpful, easy to talk to, accommodating, and patient as she helped us sort out everything from decorations to picking out our food for our special day. She was also present the day of to make sure everything ran smoothly! We had a small hiccup the day of our wedding and Kayla was incredibly accommodating. She made planning and day of so easy for me! If you are looking for your venue for your wedding, look no further as this is the perfect place to have your wedding!

Beautiful place to spend time. Whenever I come to shop at Simon's, I always stop in the gardens. The koi fish pond was closed due to renovations (sad) but they have updated it so much! Very relaxing atmosphere. Great little indoor park for small kids, very close to the food court. Sitting at the tables inside the gardens even though a public area, still felt very private. Always have a lovely time when I go!

A really relaxing setting, I love it! Great to sit solo or with someone and catch up! I grabbed some food and a brew from the food court to the right of the gardens and then found a table within the gardens to eat and relax. The gardens are made up of water features, plants and usually fish in the deeper ponds too, however none this time. There is renovation work going on and has been for years one way or another as I was last here 8 years ago and the gardens were closed!

A beautiful, peaceful spot in the heart of downtown ,perfect for lunch breaks or a quiet escape, especially on cold days. The greenery is lush, and seeing little sparrows fly around made it feel extra special. There’s also a small playground for kids.
That said, a couple of things could be improved. The garden is located on the 4th floor of a mall, but there weren’t any clear signs or directions to find it ,I had trouble locating it, especially since I was in a bit of a rush. Also, the washrooms in the garden lacked basic supplies like hand soap and paper towels, which was disappointing. Still, a great place to unwind!

Beautiful space in the downtown core. Must visit. I went for an event,and explored the place. Plenty of places to sit, relax and for an informal meetings. A good place for visitors 😃. I guess it would be great to visit in winter 🥶 cold outside and warm tropic inside. Variety of plants.

A great little indoor oasis, good for an especially hot or rainy day. Sadly when we visited the koi pond was closed for renovations, but all of the beautiful plants and flowers and water features were enjoyable. Grab some grub at the food court nearby and soak in the ambience of the greenery.

Elyna is an excellent wedding planner and we are so glad we hired her - it truly allowed us to have the wedding of our dreams. She has exquisite taste and excellent contacts in the industry, ranging from catering to dj to hair/makeup to photographers. Our guests raved about the wedding, many of them saying it was the best wedding they'd been to. It was certainly our favourite too.
Quite simply, Elyna has done this many times over and she knows exactly how to plan and run a wedding seamlessly. For us, that was invaluable. She is efficient and professional and replies to you in detail very quickly every time. She really went out of her way in so many ways, including keeping costs down and we appreciated that. We would definitely recommend Elyna - she has old school work ethic and its a beautiful thing to watch! We know our wedding wouldn't have been what it was without her and her team. Thank you, Elyna!

We hired Elyna to plan our fall wedding, and we do not have enough good things to say about her. She truly helped make our wedding weekend the best weekend of our lives. She always made herself available to talk, always eased our stresses leading up to the wedding, and really cared about making the wedding exactly how we wanted it. On the actual wedding day, we did not have to deal with 1 vendor, did not have to deal with any hiccups occurring. Elyna made sure the entire weekend was as seamless as possible. Elyna, thank you so much. We don't know how we could have gotten our wedding done without you. Would recommend her to anyone, and will be recommending her to all of our friends.

When we decided to plan a destination wedding in Montreal from Philly we knew it would be impossible to do without help. We found Elyna on Instagram and immediately could tell before even meeting her that her style and vibe matched ours. We didn’t even consider hiring anyone else and it was the best decision we could have made. For the past 14 months Elyna has been my savior. She responds to emails ASAP, no matter the time of day. She helped me with EVERYTHING, down to where to have dinner three days before the wedding. We wanted a very particular, out of the box vibe for our wedding - speakeasy/nightclub/no sit down dinner - and she nailed it. This type of off-formula wedding could easily feel unorganized with the wrong person running the show - Elyna has a well oiled machine that can handle anything. We did not want an MC that announced the transitions of the evening and was not a “wedding DJ” - Zo KILLED it. Our glam squad was incredible, flowers gorgeous and caterer amazing/accommodating. Our guests told us it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to, it reflected US perfectly and hit home on all cylinders (food, drinks, music and ambiance). Thank you Elyna for these memories; it will be weird not corresponding regularly but hopefully our paths cross again !!

We decided end of July 2019 that we wanted to get married before the end of the year. We reached out to, and chatted with, several wedding planners that just didn't click or impress us. We then received a referral from a friend in Montreal who had worked with Elyna in the past. As soon as we met with her, we knew right away that she would get the job done.

Elyna's no BS approach was right up our alley. She has tons of amazing vendor contacts and relationships in the Montreal area, and is great for getting a feel for what you want, and then running with it and getting sh*t done. She is super responsive, talks you off the ledge when needed and provides great ideas you never would have thought of.

When we felt like our budget was getting a bit blown up, and that we had lost control, she was great for owning where things had gone wrong, and immediately adjusted to get things back on track.

Like most couples of 2020-2021, we went through the covid-nightmare. We had already found the venue, DJ, photography pre-covid but we were missing decor, flowers and all the other small things that we didnt know about. Lucky for us Elyna came to our rescue. We didnt take her full package, so we used her on a hourly basis. Elyna was quick to the point, organized and hit ever detail that we were missing. Ever minute we had with her was put to good use. (15 hours total) If it wasnt for her and her team , we wouldnt had an amazing June 2021 wedding. She is very professional, has a great personality and is very passionate about her job, which in our opinion makes her the right person for any weddings or events. We highly recommend her. We will definitely be spreading her good name.

There is truly no venue in Toronto like Fantasy Farm. Nestled across from Todmorden Mills, this fairytale-like banquet hall is surrounded by lush forest and natural beauty — it felt like we were getting married in the heart of the Canadian North, yet we were conveniently minutes from the Danforth with plenty of parking for guests.

From the very beginning, the staff made our planning process feel easy and stress-free. Gus and Marc guided us with their deep experience and approachable, down-to-earth nature, helping us visualize our day and make thoughtful decisions. The food tasting was not only helpful but really helped us “feel” the wedding coming together — and the food itself was amazing.

On the day of, Jeremy was calm, warm, and completely on top of every detail. He helped lead our families through the ceremony and reception with grace and understanding, allowing us to truly relax and be present. The team was incredibly accommodating during setup, and the rollout of the food and events throughout the evening was absolutely seamless.

Our day couldn’t have been more perfect. The natural, homey atmosphere suited our artistic vibe beautifully. Many guests commented that it felt like a getaway to a cottage — but better. We had our wedding at Fantasy Farm 2 days ago. Everything was simply amazing. Everyone who attended was very happy with the service, the food, and how good the staff was about being timely but never getting in the way! Gus and Jeremy were extremely helpful throughout the process and they are very transparent. After being in many venues and talking to the service industry people for so long, we truly appreciated a fresh proper human interaction with them. They are very accommodating and helped us pretty much with anything we needed. Hopefully I don't have to ever get married again, but if I would I would do it there any day.

My husband and I were married at Fantasy Farm back on October 14th... of 2022. Haha, I feel awful for not doing a review earlier, but hey! We're finally getting around to it.

The phrase "Hidden Gem" perfectly describes Fantasy Farm. In the middle of Toronto this is a beautiful lush event space that is extremely well run. We had our wedding here in the larger room and had an amazing experience. Firstly the garden ceremony was gorgeous with the flowers all in bloom and the greenery all around. The ballroom was also beautiful. Gus worked with us to set up our details and Jeremy and Mark executed everything on the day of. The way everyone at FF worked with us before and during the wedding was professional and really help us feel at ease. From the ceremony to the BBQ dinner, everything ran on time and the whole staff worked hard to make sure all the guests were comfortable. Many of my friends and family have dietary restrictions and allergies and this was one of the only event venues I have ever been to where they took such personal care for all of them, making sure not only the menu was set up to accommodate them, but also on the day of they went around to each person to make sure they had the right meal and to answer any questions they had. Days after we kept having friends and family rave about how beautiful the whole evening was.

We hosted our High School Reunion at the hall in September and everything was perfect and Matt was incredibly helpful. Highly recommend for weddings, reunions or any gathering.

A cute community center nestled in Inglewood. Not far from the Bird Sanctuary. A nice relaxing playground for the Tots. A very nice rink for rollerblading in the summer and ice skating in the winter. The hall has a unique roof and can make for a lovely meeting space for special occasions especially if decorated.

Great little playground for kids up to probably 8. Big and small slide, baby swing and normal swing, merry go round, and a pretend car. In the winter the small hill makes for a tiny toboggan for toddlers, and the ice rink provides lots of entertainment.

We host large events at Inglewood Hall on a bi-weekly basis. The space is amazing, the acoustics are spectacular but the management and staff are my favorite part. Your bookings are well attended and cared for here.
