People there are always so knowledgeable and helpful! My last order was processed extra fast. I asked if it would be possible to ship something two days before Canada post strike. They not only shipped it within an hour since order was placed but they used an alternate courier and I got my order in only 18hours (free shipping with purchase; no extra cost! To Edmonton) Also,, they never forget to write a handwritten note on my packing slip. I just love ordering from them and each time I am in Calgary I try to stop by! FIVE BIG stars from me ! I’ve been a customer at Reid’s since August 2023, and from the very first visit, I was blown away. I walked in just to get my Lamy pen checked & mind you, I didn’t even buy it from them and the manager not only took it in but had it repaired and working perfectly within a couple of days. That level of care and service completely won me over.

A year later, I still go back every other week. Whether it’s pens, stationery, or stickers, I always find something, and more importantly, I always leave feeling welcomed. The staff are kind, accommodating, and non-judgmental. They create a space that’s genuinely comfortable, even for introverts like me who don’t always know what to ask for. They answer questions when needed but never make you feel pressured or out of place.

Plus, they even welcome my dog in the store! 🐶

Reid’s is everything a local store should be. I’m truly obsessed, and incredibly grateful for the space they've created.

Great store with knowledgeable staff and quaint atmosphere, but I have a major issue with the fine line and other pens they sell. I've now purchased 3 pens in the last month from Reid's with all drying up and becoming unusable after about 2-3 pages of moleskine sketches. I feel like I'm being fleeced for decent pens when I sometimes only get one day of use out of them. I'll be focusing on online ordering of my supplies from now on.

I was born and raised Calgarian, I've seen ads for Reid's plastered EVERYWHERE around the city for many many many years. One of my favorite pleasures in life is a great, no, a magnificent pen. That pen that just writes perfectly for your style of hand-writing... you know the one I'm talking about. The guilty part of that pleasure was finding one left behind by someone (just laying there on the table) when I was in school. I could never find the right pen myself for some reason.

I've just graduated, as a celebration I came down to Reid's to get a proper pen to sign my first contract. They were kind, caring, understanding, knowledgeable, they understood the task at hand, and they found me my first perfect fountain pen.

Thanks guys! Here's to you! I finally got the illusive pen that I wanted.

Got advice and a converter so I can give my grandmas fountain pens she immigrated with a second life! The lady who helped me was very knowledgeable and the selection of both fountain pen products and more conventional stationery were great!

It is a great store for Indian wear with reasonable price. The lady in charge was very helpful and friendly. It’s a one time destination for all your Indian shopping including jewellery and accessories. They also have good collection of sandals suitable for celebrations.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Thimble Cakes. Discovered them when my daughter had peanut allergies and never stopped going. Cupcakes are delicious but also check out their vegan ice cream. It is so delicious (and I'm not vegan, so i remember what ice cream is suppose to taste like) you will not be disappointed!

Ordered a GF rectangle layer cake for a birthday. Had a photograph printed for the top of the cake. Cake looked amazing and tasted excellent. Well done. Highly recommend Thimble Cakes for gluten-free cakes or any baked goods.

After many "not so good" cake tasting we were overjoyed when we found Thimble Cakes for our wedding. The cake was fluffy, "moist" and perfectly sweet. We chose the "cookie dough" cake and I still dream about it 6 months later. They offer gluten free and vegan options which are amazing. Communication was easy via email or phone and they executed my requests perfectly. I ultimately went with a very simple design but its exactly what I wanted. I definitely will be stopping by the bakery very soon to help with these cookie dough cupcake dreams.

i luv michael! he does great work everytime i see him, have gotten 4 rings reshaped as well as 2 resized. i will always return here! my only concern is that my emerald is now cracked and it was not before :((( i will return of course, not sure what happened this time and hope for at least a refund because of the emerald being broken.

We're so grateful to have found a wonderful jeweller nearby! Michael and his work are fantastic! We had a wedding band made larger, an engagement ring re-shaped, claws re-built and both polished. Michael gave us an incredible deal and had it done within the week! I would highly recommend Golden Hands Jeweller in Strathmore, Alberta.

Michael did a beautiful job restoring and resizing my mother's 50+ year old wedding rings! They looked brand new. He was he quick and friendly, and very fair in his pricing. Would definitely recommend supporting this local jeweller!

Michael worked his magic on my husband's wedding band that was lost on a construction site for a month. When his ring was found, it was chipped, scratched and badly damaged. Michael made my husband's ring look brand new. He did such a beautiful job repairing the ring. Michael also fixed my broken chain and cleaned two pendants that are 40 years old, now they look brand new again. Highly recommend Michael.

I have recently had my wife’s engagement ring fixed by Michael at Golden Hands Jewlery in Strathmore after the diamond was knocked out, apparently not a very hard hit but enough to break the arms off. This had happened once before and we’d taken it to the city to be repaired. After a week of having no time to run into the city, I thought that we must have someone in Strathmore, and fortunately I did a quick search and found Golden Hands Jewlery. Michael is an extremely qualified jewler/gemologist, the ring looks absolutely fantastic. He has set the diamond more securely than it was originally, he’s polished it immaculately, just a fantastic job. He took the time to explain his process before doing any work and had it back to me in short order. It is great to have someone in town that does such exceptional work and is a genuinely great person to meet with and have this work completed by. Thanks again Michael for your attention to detail and exceptional work. I will most certainly pay you a visit again for any work I need done!

Amazing Customer Service when buying a Suit for my 12 years old son today at Growing Kids Billing’s Bridge. After going to multiple stores to find a right size (adult size pants and kids size shirt and vest) for multiple days, I was unable to get the right size. I was served by Elizabeth. She spent time and effort trying to get the right size. Going back and forth to storage and trying on multiple different selections to meet our needs and wants. I had almost lost faith in customer support in Retail but my faith is restored in genuine service to customers. Great job Elizabeth and a heartfelt thank you for your patience and service.

We just want to give a shout out to Elizabeth. What an absolute angel. Went in with three girls all under the age of six who were more than excited to be buying one of these beautiful dresses for an upcoming event. She was so helpful in finding prices and pulling different sizes and showing us different dresses, I could not have gotten through it without her! Thank you Elizabeth for making our experience go a lot more smoothly than I was expecting.
I would also like to say if you're shopping for fancy dresses or suits for children, this is definitely the place to go.

Growing Kids clothes are fun colorful and made with care. My daughter loves picking out her outfits each morning and I love how easy they are to wash and keep looking fresh

Fabulous experience with Prince Bomboniere! They put together 25 beautiful bombonieres for my son's baptism in 24 hours with no notice! There are some pretty awesome staff who work here. The store is clean and has everything organized well. The store has many great prices and some incredible sales. Sometimes they even have an employee giving out samples yay! They have some great deals on Christmas baskets but the best is the beer advent calenders for under $80. Definitely one of my go to liquor stores.

I love this place! It has amazing stuff for wedding decor, event decor and beautiful faux florals. However the past two times I’ve visited, the staff followed me around everywhere, made me feel really uncomfortable that you think I’m gonna steal something??? I didn’t wanna reduce any stars for this because it is an amazing place but please improve this, it’s not fun shopping when you have someone breathing down your neck especially during covid times. & me being the type of person who likes to think in peace about what I want to buy however with someone following me around the whole time makes me feel rushed. Usually I spend a lot of money there cause I end up loving everything but the last two times because of this incident I hardly bought anything cause I just wasn’t feeling right with staff following me around and literally being two steps away.

The Quality of Chrome gold backdrops aren't worth the price. We have 1400 plus tax, sitting like trash in our warehouse, just after 1 use.

I purchased faux flowers from here to make my wedding bouquets and boutonnieres. They are priced competitively in comparison to shops like Michael's and the quality is good. They look very real in my opinion. I am so pleased with my purchase.

This is the worst worst place I’ve been treated as for customer service satisfaction!
I came all the way from Montréal! She said, not to pay taxes, go to bank get money!! I went to the bank and came back i came to pay it all sas good, then i saw a side that was damaged, i asked her to call her sister and adjust the price a little bit..then she called her sis and guess what her sister said not to lose a couple few dollars, NO ITS SOLD! I asked the owner how you can do that and she said she doesn’t care that i travelled from Montréal… that someone paid etransfer!!! I was there for 3 hours! 3 hours getting stuffs for about 2000$ . Sad for them! I’ll go to event decor supply!!!

My friend and I came into Adore today looking for a dress for a wedding. As soon as we walked in we were warmly greeted and asked how we could be helped. Within minutes a few of the sales associates had a dressing room full for us.
We spent a few hours there and didn’t feel rushed at all. We had a hard time picking just one dress so I decided to buy two!

I came to the store with my friend and was just looking around. We came to the jewelry rack and my friend asked "are these cufflinks?". The girl seller who was standing there replied "those are earrings and we don't sell anything for men". While my friend had piercings. We walked away. I heard her tone and it was absolutely unacceptable for a person doing her job as a sales assistant. I have never seen a manifestation of misandry in real life, but thank you to your store for that! (no, it's disgusting). I don't recommend this store to anyone and will never come here again.

Similar to other people’s experiences under the reviews, the customer service here needs improvement. Walked in and even after 10 min was not greeted or approached as the employees did with other customers that came in before or after me. There were a few employees working and it felt intentional who they spoke to vs ignored. Lots of beautiful pieces that I wanted to try but felt shy and unwelcomed and had to walk away.

I recently attended a floral arrangement workshop here, and it was absolutely delightful! Monique was warm, engaging, and made the entire experience both fun and relaxing. She shared helpful tips throughout, and her passion for flowers really shone through. The final bouquet (pictured in the third photo) is hands-down the most beautiful one I’ve ever made—or received! I left feeling inspired and can’t wait to sign up for more workshops in the future. Highly recommend!

Thank you,. I received some flowers that weren't the freshest and they didn't make it after just a couple days. It was a very hot day (32c) and the delivery came with the cello bag was dried out so possibly too many deliveries that day. However, the customer service at umbrella is always so fantastic. They redelivered the flowers today and they look magnificent. Thank you very much for your excellent customer service and always making it right. I very much appreciate it.

I used Amborella for my wedding flowers and was so thrilled with the how everything turned out. The ordering process was so easy and they were responsive leading up to the wedding. The website ordering is supposed to be a bit less personal with no consultation but they included everything I asked for. The flowers looked great when they showed up and beautiful throughout the day. I’d recommend Amborella to any bride looking for great value and an easy process with florals! 🤍

Just attended the BYOV workshop last Friday. Although my friend and I had a good time and both left with beautiful bouquets majority of our flowers began to die 3 days later. I had roses and snapdragons that did not last. At $10 a bloom I would have expected to get more time out of them. Most of the flower selections were already in full bloom and some looked on their way out. Maybe these workshops help them get rid of old stock? I don't think what I got was worth the price I paid for only 3 days of life.

Amborelle Floral did an amazing job with my wedding flowers! The arrangements were absolutely beautiful—timeless, elegant, and exactly what I envisioned. On the day of the wedding, they handled the drop-off seamlessly, which was such a relief and took one less stress away. The flowers were delivered on time and set up perfectly, allowing me to focus on enjoying my big day. Highly recommend using this floral shop.

I was very comfortable dealing with the team at Made In Canada Gifts. I was able to find a piece from an artist I had seen at a gallery and was ecstatic for that.

The true joy for me however was the exceptional customer service and personal touch to ensure client satisfaction.

I went to the store on two separate occasions and on both occasions I had a wonderful experience. The person who made my experience wonderful was the clerk was working on both occasions. She was a beautiful dark skin thin young lady… I’m really sorry I forgot your name! I am from Ottawa and when I travel I always buy gifts there to bring to my friends are abroad. The first time I bought smoked salmon in a wooden box with Inuit art on it. The second time I bought two bottles of large maple syrup with some maple butter. The young lady who’s served me was so pleasant and patient with me. She even googled for me if it was allowed to bring smoked salmon on a plane. She made pleasant conversation with me and when I bought the maple syrup she went through the effort of wrapping them carefully so they don’t break when I put them in my luggage. The store is beautiful. They have amazing beautiful souvenirs and artwork. There is another store downstairs not affiliated to them but just not as good. I did compare the prices and although this store is much more high end,the prices are much better. Not to mention they have way better things. More creative and beautiful things. I was looking everywhere in Ottawa for the smoked salmon with the Inuit art on the box. I was very stunned when I found it at the store but pleasantly surprised. To the young lady working at the counter again I am sorry I forgot your name but you are amazing. From now on I know where to go to buy my souvenirs from Ottawa.

Just found this great online store, everything Made In Canada, that's exactly what we were looking for. The best online shopping experience we have ever had. Great service, extremely fast shipping, terrific packaging, and smiles all around when the gifts arrived at our home. Great quality, unique and thoughtful gifts made in Canada. Placed an online order for a bunch of company gifts, the person with whom I spoke to when I needed to double check something (sorry, I missed your name), was extremely pleasant and helpful.. I arranged pick-up at the Rideau store. Beautiful place with really nice products. Friendly staff as well.
My only qualm is that the hours posted on-line didn't match the store. My Google search stated 9:00 (but the store actually opened at 10am). You should update that :)

I called the number, a lady answered just by ''Ello?'' I had to confirm if I was calling at the right place, very bad service over the phone, said they were close for the Holidays..? Asked if they were carying a specific Ribbon (Witch is on their website) simply said they were out of stock, overall very evasive answers. Very disapointing.

Met at a trade show and they supplied the chair covers and table decorations for my event.

My daughter and I had a nice experience at Hallmark on a Wednesday evening in August. We were greeted when we entered, received excellent service at the post office, and found a "pop-it" toy my daughter loves. The woman who rang our order in was very kind to both of us. I appreciate this kind of warm service!

Never visited this store before! Talk about a one stop shop for all your party needs. Everything from balloons to food, all kinds of decor items for parties. Very impressed and all the staff who assisted me were very friendly and helpful. Definitely, will be my first stop next time I'm planning a party.

Staff need a lesson in customer service. Was in line at the cash with 10 minutes till closing. They refused to fill 8 balloons for me because it would mean they worked passed 8pm.

Terrible service. If I’m in line before closing with a small order I should not have to wait to pick them up next day.

I visited this Party City location on the evening of September 3rd, arriving around 7:49 PM and leaving around 8:06 PM. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing due to the attitude and behavior of one of the employees.
As soon as we walked in, the first employee we encountered greeted us with a very rude tone and said, “We’re closing in a couple of minutes.” She added that she couldn’t do more than 10 balloons because they were about to close, while giving us an unfriendly, dismissive look. We completely understood that it was close to closing time, but the way it was communicated felt unnecessarily hostile.
While waiting for the other employees to fill our balloons, we noticed they remained silent despite our multiple apologies for the timing. They didn’t acknowledge us and seemed visibly annoyed throughout the process, continuing to give us looks that made us feel unwelcome.
At the end, when my sister apologized once again for the inconvenience, one of the employees abruptly cut her off and said, “Just keep them in room temperature,” in a curt manner.
We were polite and appreciative throughout the visit, so it was disappointing to be treated with such a lack of basic customer service and courtesy. We understand closing time can be stressful, but a little kindness goes a long way. I hope management can address this and provide additional training to ensure better experiences for future customers.

I recently bought 4 packs of Hershey Kisses chocolates for an event. We came to know that the chocolate didn't taste good, and having tried them ourselves it seems that they taste like old chocolate. The aftertaste is pretty bad.
Really disappointing because the store itself is really good with so much choice and party products.

I took a couple of balloons today. A big happy birthday and 4 small balloons. Paid 35 for all. Guess what. Only 3 small ones were left 3 hrs after. I know how to keep these so well under cool and good conditions. The real reason is that the women who did them for me did them extremely extremely quickly and it was super clear that she was being careless. Like if im paying this much for a few balloons id expect atleast better treatment and better quality.

I’ve experienced the same issue with balloons losing helium within 24 hours for the second time. Additionally, the staff, especially during the morning shift, were not very courteous.

I contacted the supervisor, but the response was unhelpful, as they merely reiterated the 24-hour policy.

At $30, it’s simply not worth it. I would recommend looking elsewhere for your party supplies instead of wasting time and money at Party City or Canadian Tire."

The staff on both my visits (order and then pick up) were very pleasant. I had absolutely no idea about "balloon towers" and got great advice from both staff members. The towers were exactly as ordered and completed exactly on time. Thank-you!

It was my first time shopping for birthday decorations, and I was completely lost, but Celeste at Party City was absolutely amazing! She was so kind and patient, walking with me through the store, asking thoughtful questions, and helping me figure out exactly what I needed. She spent all that time with me until I was completely satisfied. Thank you so much, Celeste your help meant a lot!

Most of the workers were great. There was a worker in particular that had a really bad odour coming from them. Like it was honestly horrible, I could smell it from the other side of the store (it's a big store) I think their name was Jamy. If that issue was resolved it would be a great store!

We picked up our balloons for 10amthe morning of the party. The party was 1pm-4pm.

By 3 pm most of the helium balloons were in the garbage or on the floor.. I estimate the helium balloons floated for almost 4 hours. Sometimenbetween 3-4 hours they lost the ability to float. Some of the balloons weren't tied right and when we pulled on the ribbon it unraveled from the balloon...then the balloon was also untied and quickly deflated.

Customer service regarding this issue was lacking. Definitely not worth the $30 we paid!

The prices seem very fair for a specialty store. Would definitely recommend to go check it out for future parties and for ideas. Oh also they saw my little girl checking out the balloons and offered her one 😊👍👍

Great stuff, very expensive, and the return policy is awful! If you buy something, then open the package to find it broken or defective they tell you too bad. But offer to get you a new one that you can pay for.

Party City is a good place when your looking for birthday essentials. There are things somewhat missing from this place but it is still a great place to shop.

Visited this location in airdrie for some plastic champagne glasses for a photo shoot. So.many choices go visited.

My cousin and whole family goes here since my cousins were kids. Veena is such a kindhearted and big hearted owner. Party warehouse is our go to for every party needs. She has everything and very helpful, approachable, and so many options. Fun place to go to. Visit and check it out for every occasion

I want to thank you for doing such an amazing job in setting up the party room for my daughter's wedding. The room looked beautiful. Was very happy with it. The pictures turned out beautiful against the decorated backdrop. The arch was definitely a great idea as well. The balloons placed strategically around the room was a nice touch. This party place was a great find. The people who helped us put together this event room were both helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend.

We often go to the store for various balloon arrangements for special occasions due to the convenience of the location for us. Pricing is reasonable, and the ladies who work there have always been helpful with finding the right arrangements and making suggestions. We now almost exclusively get balloons at this store as a result.

The store itself is a little dated, though there are lots of decor and party items available. The variety of options for decor and party ware might be a little smaller on that end, so if you're looking for a bigger selection or newer items (like specific themes for kids' birthdays or something like that), you're better off going somewhere like Party City. They can, however, preorder some items via catalogue if you do so in advance!

My wife and I went to this outlet to get custom made balloon for my friends daughter’s 7th Birthday, there are variety of options to pick and the designs are accurate with reasonable price. I highly recommend this place for all your decoration and party/event needs… Best customer service too…

We ent to this place after seeing comments and reviews and to be honesty i am satisfied with thr service I was given. They made our son's 5th year birthday awesome and beautiful.

They were on time and no drama, everything came as in i ordered and expected. I felt the price was a bit high, but hopefully next time I will be given a good deal :)
