Beautiful and well maintained, the steps at the entrance is what every visitor need to be cautious about..high heels and boots may be a bit worrisome at the time of winter or a rainy day... ample amount of parking and a good place to host events.

I had a good experience decorating for my customer small and simple wedding. Good communication, easy to contact anytime . Beatiful hall , big space and clean .I would recommend it for my clients .

Attended Al-Fitra elementary school iftar during Ramadan- was blown away by the atmosphere - brilliant decor, lighting and well executed event. The basement space was used for prayer allowed the upstairs setup to remain intact during the event but could use a little upgrade.

I have been using the hall of peace as an event coordinator for over a year now. I have been very happy with my experience. Whether I was hosting a wedding, any community gathering or my live performance event everything always went very well.

The staff who work here are very friendly and are have been very helpful in addressing both the needs of my clients and any event I have hosted there personally.

The main hall is beautiful with an amazing ambience and great for weddings or larger community event as I have had up to 120 guests at one time and it was still spacious.

The downstairs hall can easily fit a lil over 50 to 60 people and is great for smaller events and gatherings.

There is plenty of parking and my guests have always enjoyed the events I have been able to host here. I am very happy with my experience with this multipurpose event space and will definitely be using it again and again!

I highly recommend this place for any special occasion, such as birthdays etc. It's incredibly comfortable, well-organized, and clean, with a minimalistic color scheme that I adore. Stephen's accommodation and responsiveness to all inquiries were outstanding. Our son's birthday party was filled with joy, thanks to this wonderful venue. Thank you so much!

We booked the North Hall for my baby's 1st birthday. We had 55 guests in total. I have nothing but good words for Highland Park Centre. The hall and kitchen are clean, newly renovated and beautiful. Ample parking space too. Stephen, the manager, was very accommodating and patient with my gazillion questions. He made sure that our event was a success. Thank you again! We will surely book the hall again for our future events.

What a nice hall and the price was right from what I heard the hall received a renovation and it is very nice in there. It was nice to have the kitchen to heat up food and fridges to keep our drinks cold! We had our wedding here July 9, 2022 with about 50 people. We booked the north hall which can hold 60 people max. Stephen the manager was very efficient in answering all my questions I had with a quick response time. We had planned our wedding on shorter notice but we lucked out with the hall being free on our day and had me booked up in no time. Thank you Stephen for all your help. The hall was to close down for 10PM which was perfect for us. I truly liked this hall! Everyone had a great time.

Had an amazing experience booking and hosting at Highland Park! Stephen was so easy to work with, answered all questions so promptly and followed up post event immediately!

The event space was absolutely perfect for a Baby Shower of 40 people, would absolutely rent again and recommend the space!!

We booked Main Hall for our Son’s Christening Party. We had a great experience with their hall manager Stephen, he was very responsive and easy to work with. He was so prompt with email replays and very helpful, provided answers to all our questions. Very beautiful spacious hall. There's also a nice playground outside for the kids. The only downside is that there is no AC but they have a big fan which helped a bit. We just had very active party and lots of dances so we warmed up:)
Definitely recommend the hall and will book again for future events. Our guest’s also really liked the hall.

We recently hosted an event at Jasmine banquet hall, and it exceeded all our expectations! The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly; they were incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the event. The décor was simply spectacular—elegant, stylish, and perfect for creating a memorable atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone looking to host a special celebration!

Such a beautiful banquet hall! The place looked amazing and had such a nice vibe. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the food was honestly so good. Everything tasted fresh and flavourful. Totally recommend for any event!

This banquet hall is a scammer. They charged me double without permission. Be very careful with your credit card—they add charges without even calling or informing you. Completely dishonest and unprofessional. Do not trust them.

Celebrated my engagement party here and it was incredible. Magnolia banquet was very helpful and amazing.
Also the decor it was done by fusion Bollywood it was truly beautiful.

We had celebrated our 25th anniversary at Jasmine Banquet hall. Decor, hall settings, sound system, food, everything was great. Jaz and his team accommodated all our requests and needs in an efficient and timely manner. The whole crew was awesome. We are so happy that we chose Jasmine Banquet hall. A few things to know if you're hosting an event here:
The venue is run by the city and they have agreements in place with a rowing club to use the facilities. You will have people in and out using the bathrooms as if they are open to public despite your having paid for the space. You can call the city office to dispute this but you will have to fight for exclusive use of the space.

There is a lot of junk hanging around the downstairs rooms. Chalkboards, drum sets, broken chairs. It will not be moved.

After 11pm, a security guard is stationed inside the venue. This is disconcerting because guests automatically assume that there is an issue. However, it is nice to have someone watching the door and you do not have to wait for someone to arrive when you're ready to leave.

If you are rentjing for more than a few hours, you will have to call the city each time you want to arrive or depart the venue. They do not give you a key. You can only access as of 9h00 - basically the same hours as Maison du Brasserie museum.

The fridge is residential not commercial. Same for the stove. You will have to turn on the bar fridges upstairs when you arrive so that they chill before your event, otherwise prepare for warm drinks.

The views and access to the canal boardwalk are amazing. The stone walls make for beautiful photo backdrops and the 2nd floor terrace is a great feature.

Lovely lake shore view. Clean, airy and has a nice secure balcony. Great venue for medium or small conferences

Went to a wedding here in September and the place was spectacular. The old vintage look the building has updated by modern decor inside made the place very cozy and enjoyable . Not sure if the staff is always the same however if so they were on point and very welcoming . I would highly recommend this place for someone looking for a wedding or just to rent out for corporate occasions etc .

Historic building by the water. Great for intimate wedding/gatherings. Small kitchen for caterers. The parking lot is public and can not be reserved for private functions.

We recently had a wedding at Lago and it was everything we wanted and more!

From the very beginning Gyneya and her staff were amazing. They are very detail oriented and do everything in their power to take all the stress off of you and onto them. Your wedding is their priority and they want your vision to come to life. Their pricing is very fair and transparent.

We were in the Vista room (upstairs) with around 80 guests and it was the perfect size. The dance floor was able to be open all night and no tables needed to be moved after dinner.

The food is phenomenal! Many of our guests made specific points to us on how great the food was. And as a bonus the portion sizes are large too!

I used to work for a catering company as a server for weddings and have been to many venues. I can say this is the best venue I've ever been to and cannot recommend it enough!

The cheesecake is also out of this world!! We had a handful of guests make the point to let us know it was the best cheesecake they ever had.

If you're still reading this, stop! And book your date already before it's booked up.

We held our wedding reception at Lago this past spring, and it was exactly what we had prayed for. The space was inviting and well-organized, with a sensible layout that worked well for our guests. We especially appreciated its interior industrial design and beautiful views of Dow’s Lake.

Planning with Gyneya and her team — including Kayly, Kim, and others — made all the difference. They were welcoming, efficient, and generous. Even during our reception, Lago’s staff members were incredibly kind, considerate, and accommodating, all of which contributed to a smooth and enjoyable evening.

The food was excellent — fresh, well-seasoned, and beautifully plated. Our guests' favorite dishes included the fried halloumi cheese skewer hors d'oeuvres, the heirloom tomato salad appetizer, and the braised beef short rib entrée. Gyneya and her team were very flexible with our dietary requests. Service throughout the night was attentive and well-paced.

We're so pleased to have chosen Lago for our wedding reception and would confidently recommend it to any engaged couple looking for a great planning experience and a memorable wedding celebration!

My Daughter got married there last night and it was perfect. The venue was just the right size for the event, we had the service first and while the family left for pictures, the staff set up for appetizers and dinner. Appetizers were a selection of deep fried cheese sticks and spring rolls etc. they were all done perfectly and sauces were delicious. Dinner did not disappoint either, there was a choice of salmon, strip loin steak or risotto. They again were perfect. Crème Brûlée was the finishing touch and was spot on. The staff and the facility was so polite and polished I couldn’t say enough about them. Gyneya coordinated a fabulous evening. As for the room itself, the lighting was beautiful and a perfect backdrop was a warm evening on Dow’s lake. I hope this doesn’t come across as AI because it was real and for our Daughter and Son-in-Law it was perfect. Thank you.

Amazing wedding venue! Staff were amazing all night :) Food was delicious. It’s nice that it’s on the water so you can hangout outside if you want as well.

My husband and I got married here last month. This place is a hidden gem in my opinion. You get a whole wedding package, amazing food choices, and the staff goes through the whole planning process and schedule with you. You bring your own decorations but they set everything up for you. It’s also so affordable compared to other venues. They made the whole experience easy.

We couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue! From start to finish, Tony , Pat and Sonia were absolutely amazing. The service was absolutely exceptional—professional, attentive, and genuinely caring.( request Silvana- she’s the absolute BEST) Every detail was taken care of, allowing us to truly relax and enjoy the day.
And the food? Incredible! Our guests are still raving about it. Every course was beautifully presented and delicious, with options to suit all dietary needs.

Was at Chateaubriand for a wedding and food and staff was amazing. The staff was great ready to serve and help us out throughout the evening. 5start ratting. On the other hand the food was so good I could of had seconds on all the servings. The chef’s dishes were so tasty unbelievable. Not too salty not too greasy. Just perfect. And the quality of the food served was excellent. The sauce in the pasta was not cut with water like many halls do today. The appetizer were delicious and didn’t taste the freezer for once. I strongly suggest this Hall for parties. Way too good Chateaubriand. 5star reception Hall. Thank you

We went there for a wedding a few weeks ago and it was phenomenal. I'm not sure if it was the marrying couple's requests, but the food was unreal. Amazing! So much of it and it was very good. The variety the quantity it was just all there. I've been to a lot of weddings and this was really exceptional. The bar was open. The buffet was a continental buffet. It was really special and really amazing

This past Saturday, we celebrated our wedding at Le Châteaubriand. The food and service was phenomenal. All night we received compliments from our guests!

My husband Nestor and I want to thank Pat, Tony, and Sonia for all their hard work and professionalism. They were always there when we had questions and went beyond what was asked for. The day of the wedding, we were completely stress free as Steve and Tony communicated directly with our vendors and took care of everything! That’s what mattered most to us.

Food was good, first floor salon was very small and extremely hot, Parking a bit away (end of the street). service not five star asI was drinking my wine and sudenly the guy came and pick my glass cuz he wanted to empty the table. Samething happened to my appetizer dish.

The salon is absolutely stunning!
The old church architecture creates such a unique and serene atmosphere and intricate details. A blend of the classic aesthetic with modern salon amenities is perfection.

Booking this venue for our wedding was the best decision we ever made. We’ve seen weddings at many locations in Montreal and surrounding areas including la Maison Principale, the Ritz, Sugar Shacks and others. We took a gamble by booking the Salon as we had never seen a wedding there, but that was a bit of the appeal. We wanted something special and unique. In order of priority for us, here are our highlights.

Where to begin with the food! Be it the cocktail period, the main dish or the dessert table, everything was phenomenal. Quality AND quantity were amazing (and I have Egyptian parents who won’t shy away from complaining about food)! We never had a fish option at a wedding with so much richness that it held itself against the filet mignon in terms of quality and flavour (we served the Miso Cod). On top of all that, we had many guests with severe allergies and they all came to tell us how this was one of the first weddings where they didn’t get an allergic reaction proving the quality and organization of their kitchen.

Talking about organization, Danielle (the venue’s owner) and Emilie (the included wedding planner) were both amazing at giving us the guidance we needed to make our day perfect specifically for us. Danielle was mostly there in the big picture planning and Emilie on the week/day of. Because the day of the wedding is so important, Emilie was the highlight. No need for another wedding planner, she’s the real deal. Organizing the timing of the ceremony (which we did on site), moving things along, coordinating with the vendors, remembering little details, fixing bumps in the road and going out of her way to get someone to pick up our midnight meal from McDonalds, she did it all with the utmost skill! We couldn’t tell her thank you enough!

Last point to highlight, which initially wasn’t so important, but was highlighted by so many of our guest was the lights and sound in the hall. The lighting changed throughout the night and was always beautifully adjusted to set the right mood. The stereo system was never too loud to make you feel uncomfortable, but was heard all across the room. The speeches were so crisp that recordings of it on iPhones were perfectly understood (something rarely seen). Our DJ hooked up to their system and the rest was easy.

I could go on, but really I’m not including negative points as my wife and I couldn’t think of any! This was truly a magical day made extra special by the amount of quality work that The Salon Richmond team put into it. Thank you to everyone!!

I would highly recommend this hall for any event. Le Salon Richmond is breathtaking. The lighting, sound & overall ambiance are among the best I've seen in Montreal. It's also a nice feature that the lighting is adjustable throughout the event. I was hired independently to film a corporate event and I witnessed the guests visibly enjoying themselves. Their team felt professional & I also felt that the staff was present for the guests' needs. The bar service was in demand all night and they delivered. Also has a nice stage. Great building for a wedding.

Beautiful old church that will have you feeling like you entered a party in Blade. Spacious place to host private events like company parties.

This space is so beautiful, peaceful and the sound, accoustics travel well throughout the space. I really enjoyed my experience here and am looking forward to returning. I would definitely consider renting the space for a big event.

We had the pleasure of having our wedding at Liberty Grand in the Centennial Room this past June and we have nothing but great things to say.

From planning to event execution, everything was perfect. Eleni assisted us with coordination and was always quick to respond if we had any questions.

Our guests really enjoyed the food and service from the staff. We had both bars opened during our wedding with no drink lines which was amazing. Thank you so much to everyone at Liberty Grand that made our day perfect :)

This is a beautiful and elegant venue. It's perfect for a special event or celebration. The food was delicious, fresh, and served in just the right portions. I especially appreciated the late night snack table with ice cream and burgers, which was a fun and thoughtful touch.

The staff were very good. They were professional and attentive throughout the event. Our parking was covered by the bride and groom, but otherwise, it is paid parking, so that’s something to be aware of.

There were a few downsides worth mentioning. The bar is located outside of the hall, which led to many guests gathering around it and lingering outside rather than enjoying the event inside. Accessibility is another concern. There's only one accessible washroom on the main floor, located outside the hall, while the rest are down a flight of stairs. Another con is that the bridal suite is also located downstairs. It’s a small room with just a closet and isn’t the most comfortable or convenient space for a bride to get ready or relax.

Overall, it’s a lovely venue with great food and service, but a few layout and accessibility issues should be considered.

I attended a wedding here recently. The service is efficient and the staff are friendly. The outdoor courtyard for the ceremony is gorgeous.

The food was delicious but the fish option could have offered more in terms of sides (very small portion of vegetables).

As for the bar, it was nice but it would have been better to have more of the basics offered like sparkling wine, fresh lime juice, and they ran out of lime wedges etc.!

Overall a great spot!

We are beyond happy and grateful that we decided to book our wedding reception at Liberty Grand. Everyone we met and worked with, were incredibly helpful and kind. They made our dream wedding come true. From answering our many questions when we first booked the venue, to the well coordinated food tasting, to their ability to organize everything just how we wanted, they have been a pleasure to work with. Olga, was so approachable and understanding and Eleni, was quick to respond and organize. We were extremely happy with the food and received many compliments from our guests. The sound and lighting was excellent. 10/10 would recommend booking Liberty Grand for your wedding.

I found this area to be equally stunning but less crowded than High Park to view the cherry blossoms. I didn't go inside.

This was a very nice museum, but definitely overshadowed by Heritage Park.
The staff were very friendly, and the house itself was well cared for.
There was a great number of historic artifacts in the museum, and the front terraced lawn is very beautiful.

We liked this place, especially interiors, which is so beautiful with antique furniture telling the stories of how people were living back then there is also a history of the Logheed family. I was really inspired by her wife personality. Great venue for small event or date night.

I love this museum. I really have a good time knowing about the history of Alberta. I went there during Christmas, however the staff said depending of the season they change the decoration. The museum has a small vintage shop where you can get some sourvenirs

Constructed in 1891, this grand sandstone mansion was originally the residence of Senator James Alexander Lougheed and his wife, Isabella Clarke Hardisty Lougheed. The house stands as a testament to Calgary's rich history and architectural heritage.

I was visiting family and we popped in for a lovely dinner at the golf club. The staff was all very kind, helpful and patient and the atmosphere was very nice with lots of great ambience. Unfortunately it was a bit cloudy so we couldn’t admire the stunning mountain views, but the food was tasty and service was fast. Good place for larger and children.

The staff are wonderful. A special shout out to Mason and the fine caring members of the turf crew/ maintenance who went above and beyond to spot I had a flat tire and help change out my tire when they were just about to close. I really appreciated the help and kindness they showed. They also do a good job on the course for what that's worth.

The perfect wedding venue for a smaller wedding! The staff (Kyra, Tony, and Simon) extremely kind and goes above and beyond to ensure your wedding day runs smoothly. Their pricing is also very reasonable for such a beautiful venue. Couldn't have asked for a better location to host our wedding.

I took advantage of one of their twilight specials 18 holes for $80 as a guest on Sunday night. I got partnered up with a threesome who was super friendly, kept up well with the pace of play, and only playing the front 9. The course was amazing despite there being some off and on rain. My only problem was on back 9. Holes 10-13 had their flags removed, and the gate between 10 and 11 was locked as I believe the staff was trying to close early.

I will start this by saying that Lynx is one of the nicest courses in Calgary and I have enjoyed playing there for most of the past two summers as a public golfer. The course itself is 5 stars. However, I was out playing through a thunder storm last week and took shelter with my group while the hard rain passed before continuing our round. Even with the delay, we were still pacing the 4 hour 15 minute mark. We were followed and rushed out by staff who drove behind us in a cart and picked up every flag as we played the hole. This completely ruined the last 6 holes of the round for us. It appears they were attempting to close early while rushing us out of the round. Great for afternoon rounds but I would suggest a different course for evenings.

Had a wedding on Saturday and had an amazing time. Thank you to all the staff and workers for their service, time, and effort they put in to make us feel welcomed. Huge thanks to jas for everything he has done for are family in the past and hopefully more in the future. Decoration team did amazing on everything, everyone was stunned with the work. Once again huge thanks to everyone who has helped.

We had one of the best experience as we hosted both wedding and reception party. One of the best place. We had Wedding/Reception at Magnolia Banquet Hall! It was a full crowd that was amazed all night long with the design, the service, the food, and special attention to detail that was given. Magnolia Banquet Hall ownership, management and staff are nothing short of amazing! Their service is above and beyond what is expected. Even though our party was as organized as can be, it would not have been the same if we had chosen any other location. Magnolia Banquet Hall helped make our wedding the best event so far! We will definitely be referring all of our friends and family and be returning for all of our future events!

We recently had our daughter’s wedding at the Magnolia Banquet Hall. Just wanted to say that everything from start to finish was first class. We asked Jimmy (Manager/Event Co-ordinator) to do “family style” meal – this is where all the food is served on each table. As we wanted an Indian catering menu, mixed with some Arab style food, this was not an easy request – especially with 350 guests!

We had a few meetings with Jimmy before the event and he took care of everything from the timing, catering and to coordinating with the decorators. Our decorators had great cooperation from Jimmy and his team, and when we arrived at the hall before the wedding started, everything looked amazing. We also liaised with the DJ – who was great to work with and was very experienced.

The food turned out even better than it was at the food tasting. So many of our guests complimented us on how great the food was, and how much they loved the hot appetizer station during the cocktail hour (see photos.) The kitchen timed everything exactly to our agenda and as soon as the speeches were complete, the food was being served on the tables.

This was the first time that Jimmy had done “family style” service and it was truly amazing and beyond our expectations. The food arrived hot at each table and it looked like there was 1 server for every 2 tables. The food arrived promptly, and our guests were very impressed with this service. (It sure beats lining up at a buffet station, especially for 350 people.) All of our guests were impressed, and we were extremely happy that we used the Magnolia Hall for our daughters wedding. I would recommend them in a heart beat. Thank you to Jimmy and his amazing team.

Nothing beats Friday night Social Swing Dancing. Fly Right Swing and their Friday Night Hop offers 8:30pm-9:30pm drop in beginner classes, followed by social dancing till about 0:30am. All for $10, $20 if there is a live band. $7 for students and out of towners. Good times!

A friend rented the hall for a celebration of life. It's an older building but in great shape and very clean

It's an older style community center, so it does show its age. Nothing wrong with that, but manage the expectations and don't expect Ritz or Glitz.

I attend this playgroup with both of my children, we have been going for 5 years now, and they both love it. It's been a great place to meet other families in the neighbourhood. It's really well set up with a huge variety of toys, a play structure, and lots of craft supplies. There are couches and chairs for adults to drink coffee and chat, and child sized tables and chairs for snacks and crafts.

Main area and bathrooms are wheelchair accessible, with a nice park outside. A projector and screen system has been added, and the cost of using it is additional to the cost of renting the hall.

I went there for Fly Right Swing’s Friday night dances, both pre and post pandemic. There are updates notices about sanitizing the bathroom and cleaning materials available in order to do so.

We had our wedding here and it was everything we dreamed of and more. The food was outstanding (our guests are still talking about it), the drinks were excellent, and the staff were so kind and attentive. A huge thank you to Christine for her guidance and support—she made the planning process easy and our day run so smoothly. We couldn’t have been happier and would recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding or event!

We feel incredibly lucky and honoured to have celebrated our wedding this past Saturday at the beautiful Palais Royale. We booked our date nearly two years in advance, after touring the venue with Christine. We left that appointment feeling something truly special and knew that this was where we wanted to get married.

Throughout the two years of planning, Christine was an absolute dream to work with. She responded quickly to any questions we had, offered suggestions and advice, and consistently kept both of us excited about the entire experience. We never second guessed our decision. Each time we visited the venue for a meeting, tasting, or walkthrough, our excitement only grew.

On the wedding day, the service from the entire team was exceptional. We were genuinely blown away by every single staff member. Many of our guests told us it was one of the best weddings they had ever attended, thanks to the five star food and outstanding service. Even now, we still feel like we’re floating on a cloud.

We had our wedding in summer 2025 and we could not be happier with our decision with Palais Royale as our venue. From the beginning of the planning process to the end of the wedding day celebration, the service provided by Palais Royale was incredible. Their team, led by our in-house coordinator April Chu, worked with us to bring our vision to life. For example, we wanted an Asian-fusion menu for dinner that wasn't part of their standard offering and the head chef personally sat with us to work through a variety of meal options without any upcharges.

Throughout the process, April was in consistent communication with us. She made sure we were informed of key decisions and deadlines in a timely manner. She offered input and advice based on her experience that proved to be very valuable. On the day of the wedding, the entire Palais Team made us feel confident that everything was going to be executed flawlessly.

The Palais Royale is truly a stunning venue, and we chose to do everything on our wedding day there - getting ready, wedding party photos, ceremony, and reception. We decided on this as there were so many picturesque spots at not just the venue, but the surrounding area as well.

We are so happy with how everything turned out. Our guests had so many compliments on the service they received from the staff, as well as how beautiful venue was. The Palais Royale team are true professionals and really take great care in the way they treat their clients.

From the moment we toured Palais Royale, we knew it was the perfect venue for our wedding. The courtyard patio, with its breathtaking views of the Toronto skyline and Mimico area, created the most serene and romantic atmosphere. The twinkling bistro lights were especially magical and made the space feel enchanting.

We began the wedding planning process with April Chu, who has absolutely phenomenal. She was incredibly detail-oriented and organized, guiding us through each stage of the planning process and keeping us on track with important deadlines. Because of her support, everything came together seamlessly and our wedding day went perfectly without a single issue. The AV team was also amazing and worked flawlessly with our live band.

Our guests were amazed, many saying it felt like a destination wedding with the water views and reflections of the city skyline. It was truly the happiest day of our lives, and Palais Royale made it unforgettable. We couldn’t recommend this venue more highly!

We had an amazing experience at Parkview Manor today! The setup was beautiful, and all the staff were incredibly helpful and responsible. Even though we were short on time, they worked hard and made sure everything was ready before our guests arrived. All the tables were perfectly set up before 12pm, which really helped us stay on schedule. The team was supportive and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. I truly loved this place and would definitely recommend it. Looking forward to having more events here and creating more wonderful memories!

Highly recommend Parkview Manor to anyone planning on getting married. I had my whole wedding ceremony and reception there yesterday. The venue is gorgeous and spacious. The food my wife and I selected was excellent (filet mignon was tender, chicken supreme was moist and not dry). Catering and bar service were top notch. John Kioussis was very professional and supportive from the start when we planned this wedding just 8 months ago. He made the day run so smoothly and stress free as if he was our wedding coordinator/planner. He answered all our questions promptly and was very attentive to every single detail. He was also able to accommodate some last minute logistic changes. Our day felt perfect thanks to him and the team at Parkview Manor.

from the moment we initially stepped foot into parkview, I knew this would be where we would host our wedding. John Q was amazing to deal with from beginning to end. He was attentive to our needs, and explained everything so thoroughly. We had our stag, bridal shower and wedding at Parkview and every event was beyond amazing! Food, Service, Drinks all 10/10. Guests have not stopped talking about our wedding and the food. Food was served so hot, plated very nice and so so tasty! Overall, Parkview was such a dream venue to host such memorable events at, in fact it was so good, we have already promised future events to John!

We had our Valentine’s Day dinner here and everything was spectacular! The food was to die for - seriously we loved everything. The drinks were great too. What made it an extra special night is how above and beyond the staff went to make our night memorable. They customized everyone’s menus to include both people’s names so you can take it home as a souvenir, and they took a Polaroid picture of each couple for them to keep. Service was amazing too - everything came out fairly quickly and our waitress was so kind. The atmosphere and vibe was nothing like any other restaurant I’ve been too; it’s hard to describe, looking like you are almost in a house. It’s a huge space with only ~17 tables, making it feel very exclusive. It was my first time here and I would 100% recommend. Hope to visit again in the future!

We recently celebrated a birthday party at Parlor Restaurant, and it was a great experience! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was eclectic and inviting, setting the perfect tone for a special evening.

The food was absolutely outstanding. The Tuna Tataki was a standout—prepared beautifully with a delicate balance of flavors that melted in our mouths. The scallops were another highlight—perfectly cooked and paired with a delicious sauce that brought everything together beautifully.

Beyond the amazing food, the service truly elevated our experience. Our waiter, Aba, was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He made sure everything was perfect and went above and beyond to make the night special.

We are looking forward to returning!

Rather ingenious higher end bistro that really leans into its eclectic aesthetic. Love the interior design and focus on unique dishes/drinks. We tried the tuna tataki which was fine then went with the hen and brisket. Both mains were well seasoned and sauced enjoyably. It's a fancy place and they take care of you well but do expect a finer dining price point.

We went to Parlour with a large group to celebrate a birthday and really had a memorable experience. Our server Allison went above and beyond! The food was delicious, with plenty of crowd pleasing dishes (gluten free options, lots of veg dishes. I loved the number of options they had for zero proof cocktails for those not drinking. The location is stunning!

Planning our wedding at Plaza Vogue has been an incredible experience from start to finish! Years ago, I had the pleasure of working for Tony, and even back then, I was blown away by how beautiful and seamless every wedding he was a part of turned out. I always knew that when it was my turn, I’d want to get married wherever he was and he truly exceeded every expectation I had.
From the moment we started planning, Tony made us feel like we were in the best hands. The service, attention to detail, and care he and Nikki put into everything was beyond what we imagined. The international buffet was absolutely overflowing guests are still talking about how much amazing food there was! Each course was beautifully presented, and the sweet table was a showstopper. We couldn’t have asked for anything more.
Niki was a dream to work with super responsive, kind, and so easy to communicate with. Any time I had a question or needed help, she was right there with a quick answer.

I attended a party at Rajveer Banquet Hall this past weekend and had such a great time! The hall was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The staff were super friendly and made sure everything ran smoothly. Food was delicious and served on time, and the vibe overall was perfect for a celebration. Would definitely recommend this place for any event!

My husband and I had our reception at Rajveer Hall last week and it was amazing. It was a great pleasure working with the hall, management really did everything they could to bring our reception vision to life. We received so many compliments with how the hall was set up - many guests saying it was the best they had ever seen. The food at Rajveer Hall is the best out of any banquet hall venue in Calgary hands down. We had the best time at our reception here!

The venue was truly a great place to celebrate huge & elegant gatherings. The place has a grand atmosphere, the space , decors & lightings were all perfect for the occasion. Plus their chef served delectable hot buffet meals, that everyone enjoyed.

The venue has a beautiful & clean washrooms with warmed toilet seats (and it’s automatic).

The best part, Preet & Rajveer are so supportive and they’re not just an ordinary host , they’re there with you to make sure your event will be a memorable one. (thank you)

We booked this place for our son's valima, as we had like 380 guests and we were not disappointed at all.
Owners both husband and wife are amazing individuals extremely professional and very helpful in all aspects.

Highly recommend them for all of your occasions their food and service were top notch every one of our guests loved it and their decorations were amazing.

Excellent facility for conventions, conferences, receptions or any other large scale event where you need a lot of space to comfortably accomodate hundreds of people, without it looking packed or them feeling crowded.

I attended a two-day conference at this facility, and I was impressed by the beauty of the structure (inside and out), as well as the amount of natural light coming in from the floor-to-wall glass walls that also give way to wonderful views of our city, as you gaze from inside that glass dome outwards.

I have to also praise them for their catering, the sound & visuals and temperature control. Everything was exceptional, and the staff very friendly and helpful.

One thing I found very confusing was the parking situation, because it's not explained well online ... but it turned to be very simple. Just go to the Blue Parking lot in the Rideau Centre and exit (on foot) from where you entered, because that's adjacent to the entrance of the Rogers Centre.

I’m adding this review for people interested in organizing events in here.

The venue price is good but keep in mind that the food and beverage price is steep. You need to expect 18% fee + %13 HST on top of super expensive food and beverage costs.

Very professional staff and they do their best to accommodate your needs.

Something to note about having your event in the summer time is that first level rooms are very hot and 3rd and 4th floor rooms are very cold. I think the HVAC system could be better.

Overall, I would still give 5 star give the management team cares about your satisfaction.

This place was where uottawa graduates had their ceremony. There were amazing aesthetics such red light within brown rail-liking architecture and many spacious floors. However, the graduate ceremony does not have floors where guest and graduates are seated like an auditorium. It is all in one floor level which sucks to see from distance for the stage views.

We just had our wedding here on August 23, 2025 in the farmhouse (60 people) and had a fantastic experience. Our coordinator was Linda and we were so lucky to have her. She was extremely organized, kind and never made us feel annoying for asking questions. We were able to go into our day confidently with her help and attention to detail, she even brought us waters when taking pictures and ensured my train was perfect before walking down the aisle! Our bartender was Ellie and she had amazing energy, myself and our guests loved her.

Multiple people told us this was the best weeding food they've had. Neither the chicken or beef was dry and was truly cooked perfectly. Everything was fresh. The service at dinner was amazing. My friend who was pregnant told me later they even checked with her how she'd like her meat cooked and this made her very comfortable eating the meal.

We had signed on two years prior and leading up to the day they were constantly improving the space (fresh coats of paint, etc.) it was fantastic. Also another small thing I loved is they don't use the standard banquet chairs, they us beautiful cross back wood chairs, so you don't have to worry about chair covers, etc.

Everything was fantastic and would certainly recommend having a wedding here!

The food and service were incredible, and the whole experience was more than we could have hoped for. Truly an unforgettable day. Strathmere is the perfect place for a wedding!
