the store was very cute! they carried a variety of pencils, pens, notebooks, notepads, stamps, tapes, etc. i think there's better stationary stores near by but this was a nice visit as the ambiance was very cozy but nothing too special. 🧸✨

This place is definitely a journal girl's heaven! Bought pentel energel pens and a washi tape here. I was also tempted to buy the 2026 Hobonichi Techo since they have it in store already! Hilary is so nice and helped me find what I was looking for.

BEST STATIONERY STORE!!! I can’t believe I hadn’t visited sooner — the vibes are amazing the moment you step inside. The staff are not only kind and helpful but also genuinely funny, which makes shopping here such a comfortable experience. Excellent job done on some business cards I had designed myself and ordered for printing. The card quality and colors are excellent. The price was very reasonable and they were done within days. Communication was excellent and prompt with clear instructions of what was needed and they even provided files that made the process fast and clearly understandable. Very friendly to deal with. I would highly recommend this business for any printing needs and would not hesitate to use again on my next printing project. I highly recommend.

Fantastic place to get your carbon copy paper contracts printed professionally. Been coming here for years, never an issue, the prints are top notch, and Client was excellent to deal with and was able to do rush order for me no problem.

They helped with creating the perfect wedding invitation and Jessica was so easy to work with, she was very responsive and gave great suggestions when it came to creating the invite! Letter pressing our invitations gave them such a beautiful and unique touch!!

Working with Feast has been a dream come true. We employed them to aid us in developing a brand identity which translated into illustrations and designs we can use for practical purposes for goods made in house, but also custom merch we now sell. Family run and in business for 40 years meant we had a lot of story and sentimental imagery, but also not focused and concise which made doing anything related to packaging, a total nightmare. Jessica and Emma's patience and capacity to understand who we are and how we want to be portrayed was fine tuned and very much appreciated. The level of detail and care they maintained through to the end is impressive and will certainly have me recommending them for years to come. Jessica was so easy to communicate with, she answered all of my questions quickly and made any changes when needed! Our letterpress wedding suite invitations turned out BEAUTIFUL! They are more perfect than I ever imagined. I did a lot of research comparing prices, and they offer the best price for high quality work by far! I had a timeline to meet, and Jessica made sure our suite was delivered to us by expected date. They did an excellent job and I definitely recommend them to all!

We use Feast Studio + Press for our annual client Christmas cards at FRANK Architecture. Jessica is so wonderful to work with and we always end up with a product we are thrilled to mail out to our 100+ clients. Our cards are stunning and we always get compliments. I worked with Emma for our wedding invitations and they were absolutely beautiful. She designed a custom invitation from scratch based on my and my fiancé’s vision. I was extremely happy with her work. Emma completed them in a timely manner, at a competitive price and I was given multiple opportunities to make changes. I was also impressed with the samples that she provides to you at your first meeting with her. It makes such a huge difference to see an instant example of your vision. Print Calgary saved me when I needed to print handouts for a memorial service. I printed them through an online service and they arrived but weren’t up to par and there wouldn’t have been time to re order. Print Calgary was able to make the adjustments needed to the design and have them printed for me in the same week. Salman was the most excellent person to deal with. I have learned my lesson and will only ever be printing through here from now on.

I’ve used Print Calgary on multiple occasions for our non-profit - they do terrific work in such a timely manner. The quality of our magazines couldn’t be higher, thanks to their hard work. It’s a bit on the pricier side but it’s so much fun to explore and discover and all the beautiful paper and craft designs. Bring back handwritten letters because this place has the coolest options with unique art and stickers🤩

The Paper Place is a huge coup de cœur, I've seen many paper shops over the years and often feel like I’m stepping into similar experiences—fun but predictable, with products seemingly sourced from the same distributors. The decor may vary, but the overall experience often feels the same over and over again.

However, The Paper Place stands out. From the moment you enter, it is clear that this shop is run by people who are passionate about paper. You can hear them talk about origami and supplies, and the staff are not only knowledgeable but also super enthusiastic about what they do. Their smiles and dedication is a proof of that.

The care taken in selecting the paper and curating the store is evident. Every item is beautifully displayed, with thoughtful and charming presentation. I found myself wanting to stay longer, even considering leaving my job just to be surrounded by such an inspiring environment!

I only wish I lived closer so I could visit more often. The next time I’m in Toronto, I’ll definitely be back. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

I love this place. My soul loves this place. My eyes love this place!

The selection of wrapping paper is so amazing. So amazing that I had a great idea. Inside of wall papering the whole paper, why not just pick up a few pieces of wrapping paper and use that instead or even better why not frame it? It's that gorgeous.

Also, I love the selection of stationary, all sorts of amazing bold colours.

I like to call this gem of a spot on Queen Street a bonanza of great exploding colours to tickle your the inner artist in you.

I love beautiful stationery. I think it's such a small way to brighten up and add creativity to life in a stressful world. I travel a lot and always make time to check out and support local stationery stores wherever I go, and The Paper Place is my favorite one in the Western hemisphere. Imo the only place that comes anywhere near it in the US is Kinokuniya in Manhattan, but I think The Paper Place easily tops it in non-book merchandise.

The attached photo doesn't do their products justice, but trust me, as someone who has spent an absurd amount of time and effort looking at stickers and pretty papers and gorgeous cards and whimsical office products, their inventory is top-notch. So well-curated and unique and a great variety of designs and objects. I ended up buying a dozen individual cards in addition to stickers, papers, and memo pads because I simply couldn't eliminate any of them.

It's probably better for my wallet that I live over 400 miles away, but I can't wait to visit again when I'm back in Toronto!

The store is fantastic, and the staff is incredibly patient and helpful. They went above and beyond to assist me with a last-minute pre-Christmas order. I also had the pleasure of attending their bookbinding workshop, which was a wonderful experience. I look forward to seeing more events like this in the future!

Very clean store with a great selection of fancy stationery. I went in today to grab a different variation of a mechanical pencil I already had but also wanted to get my very first fountain pen after going down a random rabbit hole of fountain pen research in recent weeks. I must have spent about an hour in there with one of the sales reps who was very patient with me and knowledgeable about their products. He helped steer me in a good direction to get what I wanted even if I didn’t specifically know what I was looking for. Left with my pencil, new fountain pen, an ink bottle and a nice notebook with fantastic quality paper. I will say that their prices are a little higher than other stationery stores in the city who sell the same product. For example the pencil I got was actually $15 more at Laywines than the same one I got (with thicker lead) at another local shop the previous week. I was too impatient to wait for the other shop to get it in stock so I payed the Yorkville tax I suppose. Overall great experience with wonderful and knowledgeable staff.

I recently made my first purchase at Laywine’s. My order was shipped promptly and to my surprise, not only was my purchase neatly wrapped in tissue paper but there was also a handwritten note. It made opening my package that much better. Very thoughtful. Rare to come across these days. I’m about to place another order as a gift for a friend. Can’t wait to visit in store!

The feed on my kaweco fountain pen was defected and Emma was incredibly nice and helpful with restoring my pen ! It writes like brand new now. It was my first time visiting the store (I purchased on their online shops and I'm so pleased by the exceptional customer service.

Found a perfect replacement for my Retro 1951 pen and gave some good recommendations for customized stationery. Will revisit in future for sure!

It’s been many years since I actually walked into a pen shop to buy pens. I love such classy and locally owned little shops. I had read about this shop on google while nonchalantly browsing pen shops around, and I decided to try this one. Mr. Laywine is a man with fine knowledge about pens. His warm hospitality and engaging conversations made me feel right at home. The interior is captivating indeed and so is the ambiance but as a hospitality professional I love when I run into such genuine individuals who make the experience of shopping merrier. Splendid spot! If you are a pen collector like me, don’t buy via internet, spare some time and stop by this shop and take Mr. Laywines advice, and he may also share some interesting stories while assisting you with the perfect writing mate.

Brian and his team at Little Rock Printing are amazing! They brought our vision for Community Perks, a fundraising coupon booklet program that supports schools, community groups, and nonprofits, to LIFE. It was amazing to see the finished booklets come back exactly as we had envisioned — a real realization of our project. From patiently answering our questions before placing our order, to providing a free proof, to delivering the final product, every step of the process was seamless. Their quality and attention to detail is clear in the finished booklets (the photo attachments show the front and back covers), and we couldn’t be happier with the result! I'm seriously impressed with Little Rock Printing. I haven't been in a rush for my prints and I've set the timeline for 6 days, but still they're usually done in a day or less. The quality is fantastic. It looks just like on my monitor. They're a local business and the people I've met there have been really great. I'd like to tour their place, just because I'm interested in their operation.

They were recommended to be by someone at Staples, who could not help print some stickers and I’ve never used anyone since for printing. From getting all the printing for my daughter’s birthday party to prints that I’ve framed, they do a great job! When I’m not exactly sure, the customer service is super helpful! A bonus, prices are really reasonable.

We use Little Rock Printing for as much of our printing as possible. Their options in turnaround times / costs are helpful when we need rushed projects and when we have the time for a bit longer delivery, with the bonus of lower prices. Their team's customer service has been consistent, quick and helpful. We had one issue with a print project 2 years ago that they fixed quickly and other than that, we have enjoyed 5 years of fantastic service!

If you're looking for a printing company that excels in quality, turn around times, customer service and best prices in town... look no further than Little Rock Printing! I've worked in and with many different large format printing companies around Calgary and Little Rock beats them all by a mile. Kathy was amazing to work with from the very start. She replied quickly to my inquiries and offered in person or virtual meetings to review options. We did not choose traditional invitations for our event, as it is a small party attending, but we did have a number of stationary options made. Kathy custom created beautiful event cards, menus, thank you cards, hotel door handle hangers and so much more! She went back and forth with us as many times as needed, until we were happy with the design and layouts. This is one of the most popular place for Tamil wedding invitations. If you're printing for 100+ cards, they have ample designs to choose from. You can change the colors, fonts, designs. You can even Come with a customized deign and they will do it for you.

However if you choose to do 50 cards (Minimum). They have less selection. Those cards are kind of basic. And not many options. No customization either. And there be an additional $60 charge for printing less than 100

The prices for each cards ranges but they are comparable to others in the industry.

The store displays all their cards so you are able to see all styles in person! The workers are knowledgeable about prices and options for each style. They are open to customizations and changes. Prices are also very reasonable for the quality and customization. Vijee was super super helpful! I ordered my wedding cards from here and they were able to make all the changes I wanted, included any clip art images I wanted, and my religious symbol. They were also patient with me to get a quote typed in Punjabi as well and was able to add it. Overall it was an easy process and Vijee understood any changes I wanted via email and made them in a timely manner when sharing the drafts. Also the printing time was super quick! I’m so happy with the quality of the cards and the amazing and kind service :) I would highly highly recommend them!

People there are always so knowledgeable and helpful! My last order was processed extra fast. I asked if it would be possible to ship something two days before Canada post strike. They not only shipped it within an hour since order was placed but they used an alternate courier and I got my order in only 18hours (free shipping with purchase; no extra cost! I’ve been a customer at Reid’s since August 2023, and from the very first visit, I was blown away. I walked in just to get my Lamy pen checked & mind you, I didn’t even buy it from them and the manager not only took it in but had it repaired and working perfectly within a couple of days. That level of care and service completely won me over.

A year later, I still go back every other week. Whether it’s pens, stationery, or stickers, I always find something, and more importantly, I always leave feeling welcomed. The staff are kind, accommodating, and non-judgmental. They create a space that’s genuinely comfortable, even for introverts like me who don’t always know what to ask for. They answer questions when needed but never make you feel pressured or out of place.

Plus, they even welcome my dog in the store! 🐶

Great store with knowledgeable staff and quaint atmosphere, but I have a major issue with the fine line and other pens they sell. I've now purchased 3 pens in the last month from Reid's with all drying up and becoming unusable after about 2-3 pages of moleskine sketches. I feel like I'm being fleeced for decent pens when I sometimes only get one day of use out of them. I'll be focusing on online ordering of my supplies from now on.

I was born and raised Calgarian, I've seen ads for Reid's plastered EVERYWHERE around the city for many many many years. One of my favorite pleasures in life is a great, no, a magnificent pen. That pen that just writes perfectly for your style of hand-writing... you know the one I'm talking about. The guilty part of that pleasure was finding one left behind by someone (just laying there on the table) when I was in school. I could never find the right pen myself for some reason.

I've just graduated, as a celebration I came down to Reid's to get a proper pen to sign my first contract. They were kind, caring, understanding, knowledgeable, they understood the task at hand, and they found me my first perfect fountain pen.

This store is huge and the staff seemed kind but it's full of knickknacks, toys, gifts, and hallmark cards. If you want fun birthday party stuff it seems like a good bet but if, like me, you're looking for ACTUAL stationary, specialty paper, envelopes, and letter writing supplies, I would absolutely go somewhere else. Besides a few boxes of generic looking blank hallmark cards in the back of the store you won't find any here.

So much variety, loved exploring this great art store!

I ordered a bunch of Traveler’s Company items from Midoco, and I accidentally added one item in the wrong size to my order. The employee doing the shipment that day seemed to have noticed the inconsistency and actually called me asking if it was intentional or if it was a mistake. It was a mistake of course, so I’m very happy they called me before shipping my order!

There was also a small price difference between the item I ordered and the item I wanted, but their site/program made it easy for me to pay the difference in a timely manner.

Thankful for their attention to detail and quick shipping! Will order again if they happen to have the Traveler’s Company charms in stock at some point in the future…

This place is fantastic! I made an online order knowing the item came in assorted colours. I contacted them right after asking if there was any way I could get one of each for the kids to save my sanity. They were so helpful and pleasant..long story short, I just received one of each colour and I couldn't be happier! I literally fist pumped with joy lol.

I love this store! I get most of my art supplies from them now. They are very close to me, and the staff are super nice and helpful. The shelves are well-stocked, and if I don't have time to browse, I can always just order online and pick it up. That takes a few days. I visited them a few times during lockdown (and after), and they followed safety protocols well. Prices are sometimes lower than other art stores too, and they carry puzzles, games, and cute little knickknacks.

Heidi and her team were amazing to work with. She was very transparent about costs and was supportive with providing options/alternatives, as well as her professional opinion. We ordered all of our wedding invites and reception stationery (including our seating chart) through Paperland and it turned out amazing! Since our order was quite large, if there was ever a miscount or error, they corrected it immediately, no questions asked. Their turnaround time was also very reasonable. This is the place to get your printing and paper. The team here is competent, knowledgeable, kind and professional. Very easy to work with. They ask the right questions to work out the best solution to your needs, and they get the job done. I have been coming to Paperland for years now to print menus and signage for my restaurant, and everytime, I am satisfied with the results.

The Paperland team (shout out to Heidi, Florence, and Eva!) have been nothing but kind to me from the start of my inquiries to the end. I genuinely appreciate their time, customer service and advice they’ve given me to save money to print wedding invites.

As long as you’re specific to your request, they will be able to adhere to it. Just know that you’ll be responsible for your own cutting and scoring if you’re printing one or two pages with their services (honestly, not a big deal especially if you want to save money which I was opting for). I also went for a same-day last minute request and they were able to fulfill it. Will come back for other inquiries in the future!

Eva and Florence were great to work with. We brought our own design to them to print wedding invitations. They were very patient and helpful and guided us on what minor changes were needed to help bring out the best quality of the prints. Highly recommend. Great price and options.

I do have an issue with the website and stock. It seems that some items are marked available online but are actually not (stocking issue?). Also there are no options such as gift cards and the like. I found the site to be lacking compared to the wonderful in-person experience.

For years, I have been shopping from Stylo.ca both from the store and their online store and I'm very happy.
Their store is a gem in downtown Montreal.

Incredibly disappointed that Stylo did not honour their 1 year warranty. My Eco cracked within six months and I had to pay for the replacement barrel to be shipped to me. They insisted that it is "free" but I pay the shipping. TWSBI also implied the breakage was my error, when I never mishandled the pen or had it come into contact with alcohol. Their pens cracking is a common, known issue in the fountain pen community. I personally have a friend who had two of her Ecos crack while in storage. She made sure she did not twist the caps too tightly. I do NOT recommend relying on Stylo's warranty, or on TWSBI, unless you are prepared to continue paying for replacements every time your pen cracks.

I had a great experience at Stylo.ca. The sales associate asked what I was looking for in a pen, showed me several options that matched that criteria, but also a few adjacent pens she thought I might enjoy. One of these ended up being the perfect fit (the Kaweco Sport piston filler), and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Thank you for your help!

They matched everything perfectly to the theme for my wedding they were so kind and patient and made sure that everything was done to my liking. Teresa and Amanda are so nice and they show you everything so you can pick and choose the style you like for your invites in the colour and fonts you want. I would totally recommend them to anyone for any event. They are there for you every step of the way leading up to your event, if you need to contact them they respond quickly. We just received our wedding invitations and they’re everything we were hoping they would be! Each card is hand gilded and the attention to detail is amazing. We were on a bit of a time crunch and had to iron out a lot of details and they made it such a seamless process for us. We’re so grateful! I would highly recommend The Paper Boutique. I went in to pick up some felted dryer ball sitting at the bottom shelf. The lady at the store is very rude told me ‘ stand up so I can see you’. I simply can’t believe what I just heard. I would never want to visit or purchase from this store any more. This store simply treated everyone as thief.

I went in to return some items hoping to receive a refund but that is not why I am upset. They have a no refund policy that is expressed with a tiny sign that cannot be seen to the purchasing customer. If a store has a refund policy it should be known and displayed. When I complained of this the retail associate was most unhelpful. Such a shame. They gave no receipt

I went in this store on my walk home and love it! They have such special and unique items that you won’t find at other places. Perfect if you need good quality festive gifts, special cards or even beautiful jewellery. Definitely going to go there again!
