First time ordering from Al Frache's Flower. I was attracted to the unique arrangements in their Wanderlust Series. I ended up ordering the Auckland arrangement for Mother's Day and it turned out beautifully. My mom loved it!

Stopped in yesterday to buy a bouquet for my MIL, and the set that was put together was beautiful! She loved to. Very friendly staff, and a beautiful selection of flowers in store for a last minute, fun, and colourful bouquet. Very nice wrapping as well!

Go see Vanessa at ADX! My fiancé had a great experience working with her to design me a custom engagement ring (and it's breathtaking!). She's friendly, honest, and explains things without judgement. We went back to ADX for our wedding bands and went back and forth with Vanessa over multiple visits and emails (she was extremely patient with us), but ultimately I fell in love with a ring elsewhere. She could tell I was being drawn to the other ring and encouraged me to go with my gut. Not once did I ever feel any sales pressure with Vanessa, it truly felt like she cared. I won a pair of oval sapphires many years ago and left them in my jewellery box. I finally visited Alberta Diamond Exchange with my sapphires and told Cici that I would like them put in a setting so I could wear them as earrings. Ash has been my driver for past 10 years and has always been available for drives to the airport and/or pick ups on my arrivals. He has never been late and always greets me upon my arrivals to assist with my luggage. He keeps his cars clean and has made additional stops for me leaving or arriving to & from the airport as long as it does not affect his other customers. If you are craving for smoky BBQ dishes, you should certainly visit the restaurant. They have variety of BBQ options to serve customers . Also, you would feel master chef’s experience on every dish in reasonable price.

We used All Beef Catering for our wedding and we're not disappointed. We chose to offer prime rib and marry me chicken and have heard nothing but positive reviews from our guests. Our venue was remote and about 8km of grid road, and they were able to make it there with no problems, early and ready to go. The food was exceptional and Don was extremely helpful in setting us up for success. Prices are extremely reasonable especially for quality. For a camping wedding, this was a huge treat to offer our guests and we are so grateful it all went so smoothly. Strongly recommend!

We had a business meeting catered by All Beef and it was just a great experience all around! Food was fabulous Don was so accommodating. We had a ton of compliments on the food from our attendees. I have a severe allergy sufferer and Don was more than happy to accommodate their food issues which several other restaurants were not so keen on dealing with. Would highly recommend All Beef for your events :)

Got the chicken strips. It took a long tome for food to come, approx 30 minutes. I can understand that for complex food but easy it was just deep fried food. What came out was not the best: 2 Tiny, thin strips that were severely overcooked. Good place for a beer. Thats about it.

These folks are great, every time I need something they get it done no problem. It actually makes no sense for our company to have a colour printer, the rare time I need a colour copy I just email them the file and pick it up on my way by, it's cheaper than buying toners.

We got rid of our binding machine years ago, I needed a quote bound and didn't know how to get that done, I was going to run by Staples and buy some small plastic binders (which wouldn't have looked good). I stopped in and asked if they offered that service and sure enough they do, a short time later I had 3 professional looking bound copies ready to go and it cost about 1/2 of what I was expecting.

The old saying is that you can't have good, fast and cheap but that's exactly what you get with All Canadian. Keep up the great work Rosie and company, it's much appreciated.

Allan was incredibly professional during our consultation and subsequent follow up meetings. He was able to create an impeccable garment based on our ideas, wish list and budget. This overcoat is incredibly special with such amazing history and nod to our Canadian heritage. We cannot recommend Allan David Besopke enough.

I had the pleasure of collaborating with Allan about a year ago on a truly unique project. He created a stunning wool cape that I embroidered, and I was blown away by his craftsmanship and attention to detail. The level of mastery in his tailoring is something rarely seen these days — from selecting beautiful fabrics to the meticulous hand stitching that gives each garment its perfect structure. The result is always one-of-a-kind, perfectly fitted garment and made to last for years.

I completed a bespoke tailoring training course with Allan. It was a pleasure and an honour to work under someone so knowledgeable and dedicated. Allan was a very strict teacher, however this has nothing to do with his personality but more so the art of bespoke tailoring. There is no room for mistakes, precision is key. It takes years of experience and practice to get to Allan’s level. There is no one else in Calgary that can compete with his expertise.

Allan David Bespoke shirts? I have not one, not two, not three but four of his gorgeous bespoke shirts. Why? Because once I wore a shirt that actually fits me - not some factory estimate of what a man probably wears - but a shirt that fits me, there was no turning back. I selected the fabric, worked with Allan on design (I like the classic western look) and waited patiently for my shirt while he performed his magic. And when I wear them? It is a constant stream of "beautiful shirt", "where did you get that shirt? ", "Love that shirt." Awesome experience.

I had a custom wool shirt made by Allan at Allan David Bespoke, and the experience exceeded all expectations. His craftsmanship and attention to detail are truly exceptional. From the initial consultation to the final fitting, Allan brought a level of care and precision that’s rare to find. I received a beautiful bouquet of cat-safe flowers for my birthday, and I was so impressed! Not only was the arrangement stunning, but the flowers lasted a full two weeks — longer than any bouquet I’ve ever had. It meant so much knowing they were safe for my pets and still so vibrant. Recently ordered a tropical plant for each of our staff to welcome them back to a new school year. Heather went above and beyond, once again, packaging each one in a lovely decorative burlap bag and attaching a special card for each teacher. She always puts so much care in selecting just the right flower or plant for the occasion. I also appreciate that they are always delivered on time and package carefully!

Used online tool to book car service from Calgary airport for my elderly aunt and uncle. Provided credit card information and assumed all was well -- nope! My relatives ended up having to pay out of pocket.

I had even spoken to someone on the phone the previous day to make sure things went smoothly and this was never mentioned. And of course there is no one available during the weekend to handle payment issues, so I only heard back from Allied on Tuesday.

On a positive note: I hear the car was clean and the driver was professional.

Allied Limousine driver passing in the right lane that becomes blocked. Then deliberately forces himself left into my lane, while still being on the same level. Only my braking avoided a collision. Black Cadillac XT6 SUV 400, plate number 0-CJ285, 18. June 2025, 16:20. North connector from 16th Ave to Deerfoot Trail North. If he's not already, this driver will become a liability for the company.

Used Allied Limo Services for my trip to the airport. The driver arrived before time and was very professional and kind. The car was clean. The only issue I had was the customer service staff mentioned I would receive a message on my cell phone with the driver’s details but on the morning of the flight when I did not get a message and called the dispatcher they said that’s it’s an email they send plus I had to call twice to get the details.

The hummus is smooth and flavorful, perfectly paired with spices and fresh mint; the lamb chops are beautifully seared on the outside and tender inside; the lobster is sweet and succulent; the grilled fish is well-balanced with its tangy topping; the tempura shrimp is crisp without being greasy; and the gnocchi with creamy mushroom sauce is rich and comforting. Every appetizer and side dish shows attention to detail. The service is professional, friendly, and perfectly paced, making the whole dining experience delightful. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates high-quality cuisine!

Alloy is an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The ambiance is warm and inviting, the service is top-notch, and the wine menu is impressive with something for every palate. I highly recommend going with a group or someone who likes to share, as the best way to enjoy Alloy is by ordering a variety of dishes and sampling them all.

The starters were standouts — the beef tartar was perfectly seasoned, the pork belly was rich and tender, and the Thai lobster salad was refreshing with just the right balance of spice and citrus. For the main course, the duck breast was a highlight: beautifully cooked, flavorful, and elegantly plated. We ended the night with the sticky toffee pudding, which was indulgent and the perfect sweet note to close out the evening.

I can not RAVE enough, absolutely amazing food. They bring you hummus and pita to start, I had the marinaded olives, truffle gnocchi, short rib for my main and sticky toffee dessert. I would get it again!!

The service was outstanding. The food was great, but the desert was a bit disappointing. The atmosphere was great, but the design of the couch circular seats were a bit inconvenient, as you had to scoot out of the seats everytime you had to leave. The tomato soup was outstanding and was my favourite part of the meal. I will most likely be back.

We have enjoyed superb dining experiences in Alloy since 2008, it is amazing that after so many years Alloy provided us the best dining experience in our recent visit to Calgary: terrific food, wonderful service and a cozy ambiance.

We love our Allure lighting. We had it installed a couple years ago and just upgraded to their new app. Service has always been prompt to arrange, the techs are on time and do a great job. The new app for running the lights is fancy! It was very easy to set up and I love all the pre-made selections and the timers - especially the turn on at sunset feature. You won’t be disappointed!

I highly recommend Allure Lighting if you are looking to get house lights installed. We had them fitted a couple of years ago and had a really positive experience with the install. Then this week we went to change the setting and noticed a section where the colour was a little different. I sent an email on the weekend and got a response that day for a service call within the next week. They came out a couple of days later, on a statutory holiday, and fixed the issue right away. The after sales service is phenomenal and you can tell they truly care about their customers experience.

What truly sets this company apart is their customer support. After the installation, we had a few questions and minor adjustments we wanted to make. Their support team was responsive, helpful and made sure everything was working exactly the way we wanted. It is clear they stand behind their work and care about customer satisfaction.

I've been working with Gurneet and Cheryl for sports team travel for a couple of year and we had nothing but positive experience with them from booking stage to our stays.

They are very flexible and willing to help and accommodate whenever needed which is more appreciated that they ever imagine. I always feel so much confident that everything goes well and no need to stay on my phone on my day off.

Location is wonderful close to so many choice of places to eat and rooms are clean and modern. We of course love their wonderful breakfast to keep them well-fed :)

A hotel more interested in maximizing revenue than catering to guest experiences. For a long weekend tournament we stayed at this Marriott property that boasted a variety of amenities. Little did we know ALL of these are being utilized for other revenue streams. A small pool, our group was unable to use due to private swimming lessons, a lounge area that rented a portion of the room for painting lessons at dinner time. Staff was nice and polite, but spend your money elsewhere if you value the use of hotel amenities during your stay. This hotel cares more about revenue than guest comfort.

We were in r room for about 30 minutes and saw 7 bugs including one in my bed. Similarly in my sisters room they witnessed another 3 bugs including another one in their bed. We were in the rooms right next to the pool on the first floor for reference. Every time we would get rid of a bug another one seemed to spawn in. On a happy note, the lady at the front desk was very nice and apologized sincerely. She found us a new room with no bugs so far and hopefully none at all 😁

I'm staying here for the second year in a row! This time I was with a company of friends, we rented the whole house, and it was fabulous! The two rooms on the upper level have a huge jetted tub and shower, large comfortable beds with crisp white linens and towels! The three rooms on the lower level are smaller, but very cozy, each with its own fridge, TV, and bathroom. What more could you want? There's a spacious shared kitchen, pool table, fireplace, lounge area, hot tub and bbq!
And an absolutely amazing view of the river!
This place is magical, we will come back here again and again!😍

Book a two night vacation here on a whim, and I'm glad I did. The area was so nice and peaceful and the views along the river are very nice.
The staff had great communication and the room was very clean.
Only a 20 minute walk to the CF Market Mall is an excellent bonus too. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet area that's near HWY 1 to Banff.

We had high hopes for this stay. My husband and I were looking for a chill NYE so we booked this room for a night because it had the jacuzzi. We had the Queen room. Overall it was pleasant but likely won’t be coming back.

We loved the amenities of the room, like fireplace, the jacuzzi, skylight and steam shower. It was clean and spacious. The price was right too.

The reason it’s not a five star review is because of the following:

- we could not get enough hot water to really use the jacuzzi with the jets. There was someone in the king room next door and so we were battling for the hot water our entire stay
- not enough hot water for the steam shower
- the jacuzzi jets were not clean. When we turned them on a bunch of stuff came out. The host said it was hardened water but it didn’t seem like it. Sounds like they don’t clean them enough
- walls in the queen room are quite thin, you can hear everything
- the chain in the toilet loosened and wouldn’t flush properly but we just fixed that ourselves

We reported all of these to the host via text and didn’t get very compassionate responses. It was clear they were not going to help us.

So if the above doesn’t bother you, it’s an excellent stay and I would highly recommend!

This place was absolutely lovely and felt like they had thought of every little detail. Everything was clean, classy and cozy. The jacuzzi was lovely, bed was comfy and there was a nice assortment of little breakfast items/drinks available. The only confusing part was parking (it had snowed and the three spots were full.) I would love to spend another night there when we have the chance.

Beautiful location right next to the bike trail. The river runs directly behind the house. You can sit outside and enjoy the water and sunshine. The rooms are great and the house is well maintained. We stayed in the largest suite. Very nicely decorated, roomy and comfortable with its own balcony. We would definitely stay here again.

We ordered food for our 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday Aug 23. Rick was so great helping us decide, then final order placed with Edith and she delivered our order. The food was excellent and such generous quantities! Our guests loved everything. We will definitely use them again!

Alpine did amazing in setting up the venue! The food was delicious, we really enjoyed it. We had the Greek chicken and roast hip of beef. We loved the transparency of pricing and inclusions in the wedding package. Would definitely recommend.

Rick and his team at Alpine Catering did an outstanding job at our wedding! They made sure to accommodate all dietary restrictions and followed up on the day of the event. The caterers were kind to all guests, and everyone loved the food. We were very happy with the excellent service from Alpine Catering and will gladly recommend them for future events!

We booked Alpine Catering for our daughter's wedding (at The Brownstone) and right from the start, Rick was responsive and answered any and all of our questions. I was especially happy about the fact that table linens and serviettes were included with the wedding package, not to mention glassware, cutlery and china. Rick worked patiently with me to create the perfect menu for our guests! The day of the wedding, the Alpine Catering team set the tables with linens, chargers, glassware, cutlery and serviettes in excellent time, as we needed to flip the space after the ceremony. The meal itself was absolutely delicious and many guests commented on it! The table service for the bride and groom was included and a lovely 'bonus'. The set-up and serving team were extremely kind, patient and helpful---it was a pleasure to have them there and to work with them!
I would highly recommend Alpine Catering for a wedding, but would also consider them for other events in the future! Job well done! Thank you, again, Rick and Alpine Catering!

Rick and the team at Alpine were all fantastic. The food, service, and setup were great, and their hospitality was top-notch. There were no issues catering to everyone's dietary needs at our wedding, and the food was served at the right times without issue. Alpine is the way to go if you want reasonably priced and great meals

I recently rented a vehicle from this amazing car rental company based in Calgary for a trip to Banff, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. From start to finish, everything was smooth and professional. We got married on June 18th in Banff. Everything went so smooth. The driver was amazing. Drove us t9 great picture spits and took all our pics. The Rolls Royce completed our wedding and the service was top notch. I 100% recommend Alpine Limo for any event. Thank you so much for everything.

Our experience was exceptional. We were in the area for one week. Rodger was very professional, attentive to details, and went over and above for every need we had. His knowledge of local places for food, shopping and sightseeing allowed us to have a premium experience. He has a background in history which provided for most interesting information about the history of the area.

We have been using Alpine for many many many years for transport from home to airport and back.

The service is exemplary and attention to detail is professional.

It is like having our own personal chauffer ;)

If you are looking for a dependable and reliable Limo service, we would highly recommend this company.

We are glad with our stay in the hotel! We arrived Calgary and I didn't feel well, so I was worried we might not get a room. However, the front desk lady helped us with early check-in without us requesting. We booked a corner room that is more spacious. The extra hallway gave more room for our luggages. The room is clean and modern. There is a central panel where you can control pretty much everything in the room.

The hotel is in a very convenient location, just steps away from the riverside. Many attractions are within walking distance. It has three restaurants downstairs too. Will stay again next time!

We stayed at Alt Hotel Calgary East Village for a wedding and will never stay at this brand again.

When we booked through the wedding link on July 31, the rate shown was under $189/night for two beds. Strangely, the confirmation email we received from the hotel did not include the room rate. At no point during check-in or digital check-in was the price disclosed. Only at checkout did we discover I was being charged $209/night.

To make things worse, my family members—who stayed in larger king rooms—were all charged $169/night. When I questioned the front desk, I was told rates “fluctuate based on occupancy.” In other words, the “group discount” link wasn’t really a discount at all—it was a moving target.

Later, the hotel admitted in writing that they deliberately do not include rates in confirmations and even instructed the wedding couple not to share exact rates with guests. That is the definition of misleading and non-transparent. No reputable hotel should operate this way.

I’ve traveled widely and stayed in many hotels, and I’ve never once booked a room without the nightly rate clearly displayed and confirmed at time of booking. Hiding the price until checkout is unacceptable.

The result? Guests who booked early, in good faith, ended up paying more than those who booked later. The hotel may claim this is “policy,” but the truth is it’s a terrible way to treat guests and wedding parties.

Alt Hotel lost my trust, and I will never book with this brand again. If you value honesty, transparency, and fairness, book elsewhere.

We stayed one night in Calgary before going to Banff. After a long day of travel, we were very comfortable with our stay.

The bathroom had a nice rain shower option. The toiletries were high quality. The blackout shades provided nice shades to block out light.

The gym has a Peleton bike, two treadmills and a spin bike, a set of weights up to 25 lbs and exercises balls and mats.

We had free parking since we came after 10 and could park on the street and we left before 9 AM.

Highly recommended if you’re staying in downtown Calgary.

We stayed here for our wedding and it was fantastic. The room was very comfortable, complete with black out curtains. Additionally, the staff left a little gift in our room to help us celebrate our wedding. The manager was easy to communicate with and made getting a room block for the few out of
town guests we had very easy. I would stay here again.

A modern boutique hotel with touch controls for everything inside the room.

Positives:
The bed was very comfortable. It was also very nice being able to use Chromecast to cast my own shows/movies onto the tv. The towels were clean and stain free and the toiletries provided were great. I appreciate the hotel's commitment to being environmentally conscious.

Negatives:
The blinds do not block out sunlight very well as they do not overlap, and leave lots of gaps in the middle of the window. There is no fan in the washroom. The rainfall shower is a nice touch, however, the temperature of the water did not stay consistent and was never hot enough. There is no on-site parking available.

We had booked the room directly through the hotel's website and as such were provided with the option of free late check out, which was requested and confirmed upon check in that we will check out at 1:30 pm the next day. However, at 11:50 am, our room cards stopped working and we got locked out of the room. The concierge was able to amend the error, but it was a pretty inconvenient incident.
