Wonderful cake made for our daughters birthday! She has an allergy to dairy and they accommodated using coconut milk which tasted amazing! Everyone loved the cake, especially the birthday girl! The detail was impressive and the taste spot on! Thank you so much!

I’ve ordered cakes from The Cake Tree twice, and both experiences were wonderful. Her cakes are made completely from scratch, and you can really taste the freshness. I tried a passion fruit cake and a marble cake, and both were moist, flavorful, and beautifully decorated. Honestly, I’m already thinking about what to order next!

Communication with Dilusha was very easy—she’s friendly, professional, and even explained how to transport the cake safely. The pictures truly don’t capture how stunning her designs look in person.

What I also appreciate is the fair balance between quality and price. Don’t feel afraid to ask for a quote—Dilusha is very approachable, and you’ll see the value in her work.

Very dissappointed with the cake.
I am sorry to say but nobody ate it as first of all, it was very very sweet and the upper crust of the cake was hard like a stone.
The cake was out about two hours before it was scheduled to cut even then it was too hard and the person was not able to cut through. After so much of effort if you try to cut, the upper layer breaks into pieces.
Also have informed the owner Dilusha about this as she was the one who took the order. And she is being inconsiderate and ignorant of what has happened.
Would NOT recommend it.

My bf ordered me coconut chocolate cake for my bday. the cake was super moist coconut with light and fluffy chocolate cream frosting. It was the best and my fav so far. Not too sweet and really tasty. The design was also exactly what he ordered.

It was indeed the best birthday cake we ever had so far. I think all other cake makers must taste and see this cake, all ingredients added were all at the right amount, it is just melting in the mouth.

We are so thankful to have had Kristina & Brandon capturing our big day! We had Kristina and Brandon come down to Cabo to photograph and film our destination wedding, and choosing them was truly the best decision we could have made. They captured every moment so beautifully, and we were blown away by the sheer number of incredible photos and videos we received.

When we got delayed on the way to the venue due to an accident, they calmly helped us troubleshoot everything and made sure the day stayed on track. They even stayed longer to make sure not a single moment was missed.

We love having meetings at The Commons at ATCO Park. The meeting rooms are great and functional and the support is excellent! And the food at the Blue Flame Kitchen is amazing!! Highly recommended

We couldn’t have chosen a better venue for our wedding reception! From the very beginning, the team at ATCO Blue Flame was incredibly helpful and attentive to every detail, making the planning process so much easier and stress-free.

Atco Blue Flame Kitchen is the most amazing and unique event venue in Calgary. We held our staff holiday party there in December and everyone was raving about it and asking me to secure next years date while we were still at the party!

The planning process was a lot easier than it often is at other venues due to how organized and professional they are. Every detail was thought of and confirmed in advance, yet they are also exceptional at rolling with last minute changes.

The holiday trees and decor they already have in the venue is beautiful and plentiful enough that you could get away with not adding anything else. The free parking is a nice bonus but the very best part was the food! Every single thing they served was incredible AND they were also very flexible with all of our dietary restrictions and were able to make a modified version of every dish. Our guests with dietary restrictions were thrilled with the variety they were able to eat and also with how helpful and friendly the staff were about making the modifications for them.

All in all, this is the best holiday party venue in Calgary that I have found for a group our size (around 350 ppl) and we will be back for many years to come!

The historic house wasn’t very big, and when we visited, it was quite crowded due to a festival. It was interesting to see, but definitely not something you’d spend a lot of time in. Parking was available but quite expensive. There’s a lovely park right next to it, which made the visit more enjoyable. The area is nice for a short walk and some photos. It’s a decent place to visit once if you’re nearby. Overall, a one-time experience—not something I’d return to.

Visited as part of a school field trip, the staff did a great job keeping the kids busy and engaged while teaching them about our local history.
The practice archeology bins were a hit with the students and taught them to think critically about the artifacts they uncovered. The indigenous games gave everyone a chance to connect with the kinds of activities that people their age would have done centuries ago. The scavenger hunt through the museum was a great way to ensure the students examined every nook and cranny of the exhibits.
We will be sure to visit again when the upgrades are complete!

I recently went on a private trip with students that turned out to be an incredible experience. We had the opportunity to explore significant historical sites, uncovering captivating narratives that underscored the links between our past and present. This journey deepened our understanding of the region's heritage. Throughout the trip, the knowledgeable workers were helpful, answering our questions and enriching our experience.

After 20 years, The Confluence finally got an indigenous art exhibition curator, Star Crop Eared Wolf, for the opening of Kípaitápiiyssinnooni [Our Way of Life]. When we visited the space for the art opening, it was quite exciting to see the different works of art on display. The film showing during the weekday was also very thoughtful-- I wish more people would come and watch!

The only points of improvement for me would be the following:

1. Food vendors (I had 4 hungry kids with me and they kept bugging me to leave so we can go grab proper meals, which were not available on site); and

2. Paving the gravel parking lot a bit more because holy cow, those things destroyed my stiletto heels when I had to run to my car whilst hail was pummeling the ground 😑

Overall, it's an amazing venue for cultural experiences but make sure you have a big meal prior to the visit. Cheers!

Strictly not a tone to do here if you have a young one. But this place is situated in a good location with access to parks and downtown. Excellent green fields. Lots of places to run around or play with the river.

The staff are super friendly and very helpful. Nic was wonderful in helping me both times I have been in. They were super knowledgeable.

Nyx and Mo both help me out every time I come in, and I couldn’t be happier. Every time I need a new wig that they may not carry in store, it’s easy for me to order. They always have tonnes of EVA foam, Worbla, and anything else a costumer may need. Highly recommend!!!

It's always a pleasure to visit Calgary's best costume store. I often come here during Halloween season, and my favorite person to visit is Allan. He knows this store inside and out, and has the uncanny ability to deal with stupid people with grace; me. I can be stupid people.
If this store doesn't have what I'm looking for (which has only happened once in over 10 visits through the years), the staff are happy to try to help me find it elsewhere.
This store is a Calgary staple and a must-see. Nerds unite here! :)

Beautiful and rustic B&B located close enough to Calgary that it's easy to get to, but far enough away that you really feel like you're on vacation. No noise except for the rushing river and the birds. Gorgeous walking paths and river access. Food is homemade and delicious. Highly recommend for a wonderful weekend stay-cation.

Top-notch escape very close to Calgary with amazing amenities. I’m surprised more folks from Calgary aren’t coming out here to decompress and experience nature and hospitality all at once. We delivered a mobile sauna to this location and worked closely with Liam and Steve. They both took guest experience very seriously and were pleasant to work with. We hope to continue visiting The Crossing again and again!

We had our wedding at the Crossing and it was absolutely perfect! The property is beautiful and provided a number of stunning backdrops for our various events and photos.

The food was delicious. Everyone raved about it and the staff was so friendly and helpful. We had the resort to ourselves and everyone felt comfortable leaving their rooms unlocked. We even forgot the card box in the reception area overnight and had zero concerns about anything going missing.

All in all it was the perfect wedding and our guests had an amazing time. Thank you to Rob and everyone at the Crossing!

the design this person sent to me were all available on online. If I really wanted to steal your ideas I would have not wasted calling and texting you, I would have rather just steal it from the websites.

Message for clients:
If you have lots of patience and time in hand sure, go ahead they give you a good pricing. But if you are a person who value time and commitment and don't like running after others, then do not waste your time.

We had a wonderful stay at The Dorian! Valet was super helpful, check-in warm and welcoming, and we were upgraded to a beautiful city-view room stocked with Aesop products, snacks, and drinks. Our sleep was amazing, the shower was incredible, and the bed very comfortable.

Room service went above and beyond—accepting a late order and even offering complimentary breakfast to resolve a steak issue. We slept in and skipped breakfast on checkout day, but the exchange point credit given instead was perfect.

Overall: chic boutique charm, excellent service, and a fun, stylish vibe. Perfect for a weekend getaway or quick stop on your travels!

The Dorian is a phenomenal establishment with a great name! The hotel is beautiful and the staff are incredible. The art in the lobby was very creative.

I would especially like to recommend that Baxter (valet) be given a raise. He was incredibly informative and friendly and made me feel right at home during our visit to this great place. I will be putting in a good word for him with management.

I stayed at this hotel last Sunday. The hotel itself was very nice, and the room was clean and tidy. However, apart from late check-out, I did not receive any of my Platinum benefits.
When I inquired at the front desk about the welcome gift, the staff member simply replied, “Only points.” However, according to Marriott’s Terms & Conditions, I should be able to choose between an F&B credit and welcome points, and for properties without a club lounge, guests should receive either points or complimentary breakfast in lieu of lounge access.
In my case, I only received the 1,000-point welcome bonus and did not receive any points or complimentary breakfast for the missing lounge benefit. I also did not receive a room upgrade (which I understand may not be possible at a busy property), nor was I offered the choice between welcome points and F&B service.
Furthermore, when I requested room slippers, the front desk told me they would be delivered to my room, but even after several hours, they never arrived. I had to follow up with a second staff member before I finally received them.
While I expected the service of a luxurious hotel, the staff’s attentiveness and communication unfortunately did not meet that standard, which left me disappointed.

Disappointing Experience – Far Below Marriott Standards

I usually never complain, but I’ll make an exception for The Dorian, Autograph Collection by Marriott.

I get that people would fairly rate this hotel very well—it’s beautifully decorated and stylish, and I’m sure my experience doesn’t reflect that of every guest. In my opinion, the issue I faced could have been resolved easily, but maybe I just had the wrong staff at the lobby this time. So, just be cautious.

I arrived early and politely asked for the room I had reserved: a King bed with a city view. I was even willing to wait until the official check-in time, so there was no excuse for not honoring the request. However, the room I received had no city view—just a view of the side of another building. When I followed up with the front desk, they claimed that no King room with a city view would be better than what I had. I seriously doubt that was true.

Second, be cautious with the “breakfast included” option when booking. Breakfast for one person costs over $40, yet all you actually receive is a $25 credit on the menu. Since the restaurant is inside the hotel and serves only hotel guests, this feels misleading at best—if not an outright scam.

Overall, this experience was well below the quality I expect from a Marriott hotel.

But to be fair, the room itself was nice—view aside.

My husband stayed here for a night after arriving at the Calgary airport on our way to the Rockies. I really wished we had had more time! The room, service, views, and food were all spectacular. I loved the many whimsical ways that Oscar Wilde was incorporated in the design and concept. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go downtown and enjoyed meals at the Wilde and Provisions bar. I was also genuinely impressed by the selection at the mini bar in the room, and would have tried more of the offerings if we had had more time. Highly recommend for anyone stopping in Calgary for a city break!

We’ve ordered twice—once for my daughter’s birthday and once for my own—and now we’re hooked! Everything was absolutely delicious, and I especially recommend the salted caramel filling. Thank you for making our birthdays so special!

The Engineer's bakery made my husband's birthday cake and it was so so delicious! He was kind enough to take my order, though it was late, and then proceeded to blow us away with a multi-flavour cake. Highly recommend his services, you won't regret it.

I ordered our wedding cake from The Engineer's Bakery and I got so many compliments on the taste from our guests (their red velvet is absolutely delicious!). Tunde (the owner) was also very professional and made sure to cater to our preferences. He added a particular lace pattern that matched my wedding dress and I was blown away by the level of detail. I definitely recommend their services.

Have you ever seen a cake so perfect and beautiful on the outside that you didn't want to ruin it by cutting into it ? Well it took my family more than a day after receiving it to finally decide to cut into this beauty. When we eventually did, we were delighted to say the least. Big cakes like The Engineer's Bakery usually last around a week or so in our house. But this only lasted 3 dinners. Each time I would open the fridge a little more of the moist cake would be gone.

Did not need to tell him what the cake should look like, I just said it was for Eid and he designed this masterpiece. From now on, I'll be looking for every little occasion and excuse to celebrate so I can order a new cake.

I booked the Garrett for our holiday work party and it was one of the best nights of the year. The staff and team made the planning so easy and I was so impressed with the level of attention to detail. It was incredibly easy and fun to work with their team and I would recommend them to anyone who asks for a great venue. Almost one year later and our team is still raving about what a perfect night that was. Couldn't recommend them enough!

I am a wedding photographer in the city, and I can’t believe I’ve never shot here. I just toured this space, and wow is it beautiful. The grand piano, the brick wall, just all of it is gorgeous and perfect for a small wedding. Jenna is super friendly and easy to work with. You need to consider having your wedding here

We recently hosted an event at the Garret and had an amazing experience. The space is gorgeous and really gives that cool downtown loft vibe. We can't wait for our next event at The Garret and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an intimate downtown venue.

The venue is so amazing for any type of event it is welcoming, cozy, and just an all around great place. What makes the Garret even more amazing is working with Heather she is prompt with her responses, ensures a smooth night for your event, and reminds you of the small details you might forget! I needed a last minute bartender not only did she find one but he was the most friendly, outgoing bartender I have ever dealt with! If you are looking for a venue to have an effortless night this is the place

We used The Garret for both the girls getting ready before our ceremony and our cocktail hour while the team flipped The Pioneer for our reception. The space is beautiful and unique with amazing views and exposed brick walls. It made for amazing getting ready photos as well as comfortable for lounging before the ceremony. Our cocktail hour was amazing in this space. Logistically it was perfect that it is right next door to The Pioneer so our guests didn't have to go far between the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. It also has an open kitchen which allowed our guests to watch the chef create our delicious snacks.

We vacationed here last spring - a luxurious place and so many blooming lilacs! in the yard barbecue area, playground, sun loungers - everything you need for a good vacation as a family, and a fun company.

The house was very clean and well kept.

A good place for all family to have fun. Has a accessible size of swimming pool. Library has a nice view of outside. I found it a bit busy and noisy in the entrance area.

Customer service extremely annoying, they are behaving as they are working in police station with grumpy faces, lack of knowledge poor customer service, Rude behavior pretend so to be professional but sorry no they are unprofessional, not coming back here i was about to register my son membership not doing it anymore, the ladies at the front desk need to learn how to communicate they are asking questions as they are my teacher I can not describe how bad it sounds.

I used the Gift Basket Boutique for some gifts to our employees spouses. They were able to customize the colours to match our corporate colours and made a breathtaking basket that everyone enjoyed. The price was appropriate for the basket and they delivered the product exactly as promised. I highly recommend and will use again!

Very nice and very fast service. I called today around 12 o'clock and I told that I need very fast order. Only two hours to order my basket and pick it up. Only this place could do it on the same day. I'm really gratful. I'm thinking that I come back there again. I will be recommend this place for my family and my friends.

Such a nice surprise getting gifted this beautiful basket from family via The Gift Designers. Lots of variety of items all themed around bbq (even the basket itself is a grilling basket for veggies which is super creative!!). Love that they also support a lot of local brands. Great experience with delivery too!!

What an amazing place to work with. I knew what I wanted but the wonderful lady helped me make a few decisions. I wanted a next day order and they came through and delivered for me! So happy.I was so thankful they sent me a message saying delivered. They called my sister with a delivery time. So appreciate the care and delivery!

The experience as a gift receiver was wonderful. I got a text the day before asking me to phone them to confirm I would be home for the delivery the next day. The delivery arrived on time and was lovely. I liked the selection of fresh fruit and treats, that the filler material is shredded paper I can compost, and that the basket is of high quality.

The gift was packaged beautifully with high quality products that ranged from sweet to salty treats! The delivery service, not a general delivery service but company vehicle with excellent driver service) detailed and thoughtful to ensure the quality of the products would not be damaged due to the elects (hot/sunny).

I can't say how pleased I am with my order. I live far off in Finland and these guys helped me put a big, wide, happy smile on my brother's face on his birthday. The items and packaging were all 10/10. And delivery was stress free and on time. Will definitely recommend them!

Been here a few times now for team building Restaurant is good with a decent menu and variety. Also has a buffet which was also pretty good. Seating area was fairly comfortable and well lit. We will return again for a future building events. Only issue we had was the ice cream maker had some trouble. The staff sorted it out quickly and the ice cream was nice and fresh

This is the second time we have stayed here and the customer service has been phenomenal.
I hurt my leg, and couldn't walk on it. I was trying to use a knee scooter. I was on the struggle bus with that and the girl (blonde) at the front desk got me a wheelchair instead to use and had been super friendly throughout our stay.

The people at the restaurant were amazing. Everyone kept asking if my kids needed help with/for me.

The pool area is great for the kids. Separate area with a picnic table we enjoyed.

It's been a great weekend staying here.

We stayed at the Glenmore Inn and Convention Center for a weekend family trip and overall had a great experience. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable—great for unwinding after a day out.
The hot tub was a nice bonus, though the water could’ve been a bit hotter—it felt more like a warm bath. Still, it was relaxing and a good way to end the day. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was smooth.
The on-site restaurant was convenient and had some good options. The location made it easy to get around Calgary without dealing with downtown traffic.
All in all, a solid spot for a relaxing weekend. Would definitely consider staying again!

Been there with my family. We had amazing stay. Front dest staff were very nice and friendly. Room was very spacious and clean. Bonus there was pool and hot tub. You also get laundry that was very helpful. The location is also perfect as there were so many dining options nearby. I would highly recommend for reasonable price you get very spacious room.

I brought my engagement ring here after they were recommended to me by some friends. I have a custom made ring that had a claw that snagged and when I brought it here they were very attentive and helpful. The claws had to be replaced so they fixed it right up, polished it beautifully and when I came to pick up my ring I was flabbergasted at how beautiful it looked. They did such an amazing job at polishing and cleaning my ring that it looked better than the first day I saw it. Their pricing is fantastic as well. Highly recommend and will continue to go to them for any and all of my needs with jewelry.

My experience designing my dream engagement ring exceeded all expectations. Kat (designer) was attentive, extremely knowledgeable, and made the process seamless. The job was done in a timely fashion and all communication was incredibly clear. They even took the band of my original engagement ring and made it into a separate ring, and were prompt in sending an official appraisal for the jewellery. The craftsmanship is 10/10. I’m so happy I found this place and love knowing I have a place I trust with cleanings, maintenance and future designs — my fiancé and I are excited to design our weddings ring here. This place went ABOVE and beyond for me for getting my rings sized and cleaned, they came out better than going in and the price was HALF of what it would've been if I had gone in the town I LIVE in! I wanted a custom ring designed and made with family sentimental/ inherited gold. Kat knew exactly how to guide me through the process and made super suggestions along the way including a hidden "kiss on the cheek" diamond inside the band. Using the generational gold from my mother & grandmothers rings they created a stunningly beautiful, high jewelry inspired beveled signet ring in 18K yellow gold with pave dimonds. I will wear this ring with pride.

The variety of delicacies and munchies was eclectic and delicious. There was quality to the selection of snacks. We thoroughly enjoyed the platter.

Wow! Is all I can say. We had a Celebration of Life and I hired The Graze Company to create a 12’ long Charcuterie Board. It was amazing!! We did have 1 hic-up, but after emailing Sheena the next day, she made it right. She is truly a gem and a professional who cares about her customers. If you are looking for something different, I would highly recommend The Graze Compay. She is local too! Thank-you!

Save your money. This place is not worth the money or experience. I am.a reasonable person but these people and their service brought out the worst in me. Not worth dealing with their poor service. My company could not eat the meat in the box it was hard and chewy. Trust me, you can create your own charcuterie with your own quality ingredients. I had to compost most of the box. The strawberries were not fresh at all. I dont usually leave reviews especially negative. I always wanted to try the graze box as I order at Vancouver for family there. However I will never order from this establishment ever again. Never ever again.

The burger was excellent. Had all the basic elements but they were all very well done. The bun retained its integrity which was key. Fries were ok but the burger did shine. Had calamari and devilled eggs as well. They were kind of how you would expect. Device was quite slow even though the patio wasn’t that busy. I would go again for a business lunch. It’s a pricey option for sure.

Had dinner here with my family and we were blown away with the service, attention to detail and the amazing food. The open airy feeling of the dining room in the historic Hudson's Bay building was inspiring. I had the pasta and it was just delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meals and our server was very attentive. Great spot for dinner.

Great cuts of meat. The food was pretty good and the steaks were seasoned well. We did have to send a steak back that was ordered medium rare but we received it well. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Great dog friendly restaurant though that has a huge patio.

Mains:

Tenderloin was perfection. What steak dreams are made of. Crispy edges. Good texture. Pink throughout.extremely tender. Packed full of flavor 10/10 this is a tie for with hys.

Ribeye my boyfriend loved his and said it was good.

Gnocchi, although listed as a main it was actually perfect for an appetizer for two to share. My boyfriend and I both loved it. And he named it “the best gnocchi” he’s ever had. I liked that there was a variety of mushrooms and they were cooked well into the sauce.
However, I did notice right away that the sauce had flour that wasn’t properly cooked/combined or simply just too much. The flour taste was notable right away and there was a gritty texture in your mouth. My partner agreed. Nonetheless, the dish overall was very tasty, it was certainly something we could look past! Maybe a fluke / off day with the sauce. But we will be back for this one again.

Porter house - no comment. There was an issue with the meat freshness, when brought to the staffs attention they quickly resolved the issue by bringing us new steaks. We understand mistakes happen. But unfortunately no review here for that reason

Drinks:

TKO expresso martini - a true dessert drink, perfect for sipping alongside a good meal. Impactful flavor. Tequila isn’t prominent.

Material girl - very girly. Very cutesy. Very demure.

whiskey ginger + lime - a crowd pleaser. Anyone would love this!

The glenlivet 12 year - good find. Nice aroma. Smooth.

Sides:

Mashed potato’s: the presentation was nice, they were good! Not omg amazing. But good.

The beets and walnuts - could have used some kind of coating or sauce of any kind as the walnuts are dry and just fall to the bottom so.. hard to get the walnuts and beet together without on a fork for the flavor combination.

Mushrooms - very much just plain mushrooms w some butter/oil. Really nothing special.

Five-Star Experience at The Guild
My family and I had such a wonderful time on Canada Day at The Guild! The service was absolutely excellent attentive and friendly. Every bite of the food was delicious
The patio was a highlight: beautifully decorated for Stampede, it added a festive, cozy touch to the whole experience. And as a bonus they were incredibly welcoming to my dog and took great care of him too, which made the visit even more special.
The ambiance, the food, the staff it all came together to create a fantastic outing.

I had my wedding here and had a wonderful experience! Our wedding guests raved about what a cool venue we found. The space has a cool history that shows through its brick walls and chandeliers. We liked that it is centrally located in trendy Inglewood and still offers complimentary parking to guests. The Commons staff are true professionals, providing helpful advice for people like me who are not used to planning large-scale events. Shout out specifically to Caterine, Karla, and Nathan for making our day so memorable! The staff are true professionals who are great at what they do.

I've attended multiple functions in this room over the years and it's always clean, accommodating and well organized. The space is flexible and accessible for everyone.
