Calgary Co-op Midtown has plenty of free parking, tons of fresh produce, a large foreign food section, in-house butcher, bakery, hot/cold fast food bar, cheese counter, complete dairy/egg section plus a seating area and concierge. Lots of great deals. Highly recommended!

Co-op Grocery Store in downtown Calgary is a great spot for grocery shopping. The store is clean, well-kept, and offers a wide variety of options to choose from. One of the biggest advantages is the available parking, which makes it convenient for those who drive. Overall, it’s a well-organized and reliable grocery store in the downtown area.

This location has elevated grocery shopping to a new level, a concierge, a deli that is fully staffed and nearly any in every ingredient that you can get. I also wanna give me a shout out to the pharmacy. They are extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

I really like Mid- town Co-Op market. Very friendly service. My only concern is the recent change in their bakery supplier. The previous cakes used to be very delicious! High end bakery quality. European flavors - not too sweet. For the past 1-2 years, the “C&G” supplier isn’t very good. Way too sweet!! Please bring back the previous supplier. Your layer chocolate ganache cake was so delicious! Miss it!

Excellent job done on some business cards I had designed myself and ordered for printing. The card quality and colors are excellent. The price was very reasonable and they were done within days. The Alzheimer Society of Calgary reached out to Emilie to play at our Spring Art Show that featured art created by people living with dementia who attend our Club 36 - Adult Day Program. Emilie was professional and the music was the perfect addition to our event. I received many compliments from the guests about how perfect our choice of entertainment was. I can't say enough about how great Emilie is. Thank you so much Emilie for being apart of our event.

My husband and I hired Emilie for our wedding ceremony. The music was beautiful and literally brought tears to everyones eyes. Emilie is a great instructor. She was very kind and patient with my 8 year old. She was very helpful in getting us a rental harp and finding the right music. I love how centrally located she is. If you are looking for beginner harp lessons, try Emilie. Her rates are competitive and she worked with our Homeschool hours. She was very helpful in connecting us with the right harp purchase too.

Emilie was such a pleasure to work with. We hired Emilie for our wedding at the Marriott Hotel. She added such an elegance to the venue and beautiful music that all our guests were able to enjoy before, during, and after our " I Do's". We have used the Calgary Hellenic Banquet Hall for two wedding receptions for our daughters and I have attended other events there as well. Each experience has always been thrilling. Rented this hall two times this year for my kid’s birthday parties. Beautiful hall! Spacious and clean! Anastasia, the manager was so pleasant to work with. She was efficient sending information and booking me in. She was very helpful and ensured that all the chairs and tables were set up accordingly. Wonderful place to have an event! Our swimming club have had a year end event at the Hellenic hall with over 250 attending and it was great experience! Anastasia is amazing to work with. We attended a wedding at the Calgary Italian Cultural Centre last night and had an amazing experience. The service was top notch, especially Frank — he was very helpful, attentive, and truly a great guy. The food was absolutely delicious, making the evening even more memorable. Highly recommend this venue for any special event!

Awesome Italian dishes, great service. Our group is often 15 to 20 people. They handle that easily, even when it is near capacity with other diners.

La Cantina is tradtional with it's food and just as welcoming as any Nonna would be having you at her table. Nice variety of food and wine selection. Feels like home (without the plastic on the couch). One of our favourite go-to's.

We attended a beautiful event at the Calgary Italian Cultural Centre recently. The food was delicious and very generous in portions. You will not leave hungry!

There is a coat check available. But the parking can be the pits! There is parking right next to the building itself (get there EARLY if you want those spots) and also a parking lot right across the street. Both were filled by the time we arrived so we sought out street parking.

Very good service to host a wedding or a business event. The food is excellent, the facility is a bit outdated but on schedule to be modernized next year. Highly recommended!

My husband got my engagement ring here and our wedding rings. Vivian was very helpful with both transactions. We love our rosegold rings.

I am not one to leave reviews. But in this case here we go. Over my lifetime I've dealt with many high-end jewellery stores as I've been transferred across the country many times. I reached out to Calgary jewellery and asked them to look for a very specific watch for me. Not only that they find the watch from the manufacturer when I went in to pick it up. This service was amazing. I brought with me an existing watch to be serviced, and I was not going to leave it if the service was not above average. That being said, I left the watch to be serviced and will pick it up when it's ready. Christina and the team at Calgary jewellery provided customer service that I have to say was second to none. Thank you for making me feel special.

I can't say enough great things about Calgary Jewellery! I purchased my wedding ring from them nine years ago. I purchased a stunning Carlex ring that I absolutely loved. Unfortunately, over the years, the ring became too tight, and I kept putting off getting it resized. When I finally decided to bring it in, I was informed that due to the ring's style and the fact that I needed a significant size increase, resizing wasn't possible.

Instead, they offered to remake the ring entirely. After confirming my new ring size and ensuring it would be comfortable, Carlex took my old ring and gave me a credit towards the new one. I only had to pay the difference. The process took about a month, but the wait was well worth it.

I am thrilled with my new ring and so happy to be able to wear it again. The team at Calgary Jewellery provided excellent customer service throughout the entire process, making it as smooth and hassle-free as possible. Thank you, Calgary Jewellery!!

Great company to do business with. We have worked with Calgary Lighting Products for five years and look forward to more business with them. I had a very horrible experience with this company, we dealt with Ali from sales, we had purchased too many of a regular stocked item, he had agreed to return the product and provide a full refund. We dropped the product off, but they wouldn't provide a refund, we have been following up week after week for six months now, we keep getting the same answer "let me look into that and get back to you" still no response after six months.

I notice from the other reviews; other customers are having similar issues. I would not make any additional purchases with this company and am in the process of registering a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, very bad business practices and horrible customer service.

Look at other options, there are other great companies out there that don't purposely take advantage of customers.

For years when I worked for a company that had an account at Calgary Lighting the service was great. I stopped this morning to buy a large expensive bulb. I do not have an account and he refused to serve me because he said it’s too much work for a single sale. Covid must not have hurt this company that they can refuse service !

Calgary Local Florist is hands-down the best florist I’ve ever dealt with. I called from Ottawa after their same-day delivery cut-off, but Lonnie still took the order and worked her magic. She created a beautiful arrangement, sent me a photo within 15 minutes, and had it out for delivery within hours. Incredible service—fast, professional, and so thoughtful. Thank you, Lonnie!

It was my first time visiting this florist and I was blown away by the service. As I am someone who does not have a taste for creating flower arrangements, both Lonnie and Danielle were amazing.

Lonnie helped me pick out the flowers and foliage for the bouquet. I was shopping for an anniversary arrangement. She helped me coordinate colours and pick several different varietals of flowers that would compliment each other nicely.

Danielle helped arrange the flowers in such a way that they made each different part of the arrangement stand out and really “pop.” Finally, we picked a new vase for them which also complimented the flowers.

Besides bouquets and floral arrangements, they also appeared to have a selection of potted plants that would also make great gifts.

Danielle did my flower arrangements for my wedding this fall and they were beautiful arrangements for a fraction of the cost for typical wedding florals! Danielle not only was incredibly easy to work with but she helped me choose the flowers I wanted but ensured everything was within my price range. The end result was beautiful and we couldn't be happier with how they turn out! I would highly recommend!

We book this hotel for the location access to Steven avenue and restaurants close to downtown. It's a great location. I can't deny that. However, it's a loud hotel. There is no noise by law on Steven avenue. Windows are paper thin. You can hear every single sound lasting till 12:30 1:00 in the morning. Windows are so bad that it seems like you have a window left open. You can hear everything on the street. The hotel puts ear plugs on the on the bed stand tables not a good sign. Noise was so bad on a Saturday night. We ended up having to move rooms at 12:30 to get to the other side of the hotel. So what wasn't so noisy. Do not get a room that faces west. I do not recommend 2306. As well, fitness room is well stocked, a good fitness room. Cool and hot tub are closed which they only just recently updated but they don't have a pool or hot tub. The club lounge was quite good very spacious. No access to the patio however.
The hotel staff did try their best but mad it is not a peaceful stay. It is very very very very very very very noisy.

We got an upgraded room that was quite spacious. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom counter large to hold all our toiletries. M club was well stocked with food and drink, all though lacking in diet beverage choices. The house made kettle chips with maple butter were fabulous. The Marriott was within easy walking distance to Stepen Street, Calgary Tower, the Bow River and other interesting sites.

For the most part, our stay here was good. It's in a really good area of downtown and was convenient to get to everything.

There were three frustrating things that reflect the rating, one of which was out of their control.

The item out of their control, the construction that was happening literally right beside the hotel, made for an early wake-up call. Also, there are people who busk on that same street behind the hotel, which can get annoying at night.

The hotel doesn't have a pool, which was pretty shocking.

Their AI phone answering service sucks, and it made it hard to get answers when you needed them. Booking seems to be handled by a third-party service, and I had a ton of issues trying to get my room reserved.

Stayed here on a recent business trip and had a great experience. The Downtown Marriott is super well located—right in the heart of Calgary and very walkable. My room was clean, comfortable, and had a surprisingly nice view for downtown.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and I really liked the little lounge area and the convenience of having food and drinks on-site. There's also a Starbucks in the lobby, which made mornings easy.

The fitness centre was another plus—spacious, clean, and well-equipped, which is great when you're trying to stay on track while traveling.

Would definitely stay here again for business. Solid choice all around.

The hotel was comfortable. Would I stay again - no. There was no breakfast included which was unexpected. Not even free coffee in the lobby (they had a machine but you had to pay for it). For the price of the room for the night, I would have expected even free coffee. Front desk was very polite and we could check in early which was nice. Valet was great (though a bit confusing as there are 2 hotels at this location). All in all it was fine for the 2 nights but I wouldn't stay again due to price, location and lack of free breakfast being included.

I enjoyed these moments all over Edmonton Ab and Calgary Ab even Morley Ab wow I travel lots I love it.

Knox is a wonderful concert space with great acoustics. yoo bad the coffee shop is gone

Great park to hang out and play with my kids. Fenced in on 3 sides, which is great for summer bike camps, so kids can't get too far. Plus, the new outdoor patio area is really nice, and the hall is a decent size for functions.

Great rentable facility. They have tables and chairs and a limited kitchen. We’ve had a couple family group events here. It is also used a lot by community groups and seems to be well maintained. The community garden is beautiful

Trying to find a rec League for a grade 4 kid was getting hard. Someone mentioned Parkland which is close by. We've done pedalheads here in the summer to. Great location and ample parking and great family friendly location.

Had my Neice's 10th Birthday Party here and it was a blast! Highly, highly recommend to rent the Hall for Parties, reunions etc!......

We found Pot Lights Calgary after being told by several contractors that adding pot lights would damage our ceiling requiring thousand of dollars of repairs, retexturing and painting. Although this can be true for some, Ash installed 15 pot lights, a few dimmers, and provided ideas for other areas of our home. There is not put one single mark on the ceiling! We were so impressed with the experience from the prompt response to our first email requesting a quote to the installation. Their prices were also extremely reasonable! Ash went above and beyond making time to ensure our lighting was exactly what we wanted. When I figure out what we would like for lighting in the other areas of our new home, Ash will be our one and only phone call.

We had a great experience with Ash and his assistant. They were very professional, clean, prompt and reasonably priced. I highly recommend them for installing recessed lighting. They did an amazing job without damaging our existing ceiling!

We recently had pot lights installed throughout our home, and are beyond thrilled with the end result! He managed to install the lights without adding extra holes into the ceiling, and completed all the work in a timely manner. He was also easy to work with, highly recommend his services, and will certainly be in touch with him again in the future for any electrical needs!

Ashkan and his team installed pot lights and a few other electrical appliances for me. They are the best. Professional, reasonable, and kind. Great experience with Ashkan’s team and will blindly use their services again!

I have been here multiple times dealing with many issues for myself and others. I dealt with two lovely ladies, one with brown hair named Michelle and another with red hair named Michelle. Both very lovely and went the extra mile to ensure I was properly taken care of, understood what I needed and how to get it completed, and did the appropriate follow up. Very grateful for their excellent service and care.

Took my road test here recently and the customer service here is superb. Wojtek was a kind and friendly examiner who made the road test as calming and professional as possible. Kanya made the paperwork before and after fast and efficient. I really recommend this place to anyone

This is honestly one of the better registries in the far NW, and I've had multiple (frustrating) dealings with others to compare. They're quick, efficient, professional and welcoming at this location and I've mostly just had a run-in run-out experience most times at this location. The odd time that I've had to wait in line it's still been well organized and efficient.

Been going here for 10+ years. This is by far my favourite registry in the city! Everyone at this place has been great to me. Can get busy at times but oftentimes I find that it is usually more quiet than others in the NW. Highly recommend checking out this place for all your registry needs.

I took my second road test at Calgary Registry Services, and let me tell you what a difference there was between this registry and the one I went to for my first test. I walked into this registry and was immediately greeted by Michelle. She was so kind; she took my documents and walked me through the process, making me feel at ease and telling me that my examiner would bring my documents to me. As I was waiting for my examiner to come, Rene, another examiner, came and introduced himself. He let me know that my examiner is currently on another test and will be with me as soon as he returns. I was early, so I didn’t mind waiting. Everyone was so kind to all the customers; they were professional and friendly, helping them in a timely manner. Addison, my examiner, came back with his previous student and immediately came to introduce himself to me and my dad. He told me about the documents, and we went to the car. He explained the procedure to me thoroughly, asked me if I had any questions, and was very friendly. I finished my test, and he explained what I did well on vs. what I needed improvement on. He took extra time to answer my questions about the test. He was very kind and helpful. I went inside, and they updated my license. I will be going to this registry for all my inquiries from now on. The best experience I’ve ever had. A big, big thank you to Michelle, Rene, and especially Addison.

I attended a two-day conference here and had a great experience. The environment was welcoming, the staff were friendly, and everything ran smoothly. The main hall was spacious, with panels held in separate rooms on another floor. Conveniently located downtown with big parking nearby. Note that the centre has two buildings across the street, North and South.

Wow, for being a little bit of an older building I’m told this looks like brand new. I attended a conference here today. It seems like there’s lots of parking and easy to get through. There’s even a walkway to the other building. I’ll be back for sure.

Beautiful venue with access to Hyatt Downtown and Marriott hotels. Close to multiple attractions.

Attended a 3 day dance competition at the centre. Central location to so many hotels and restaurants. Rooms were large for the event and acoustics very good. Washrooms always clean with very heavy use 7 am- 10 pm daily. Water stations set up throughout the centre and staff always had them full, clean and with lots of cups. Elevators and escalators for those needing them. Outstanding handicap washroom stalls! Large, well placed handrails near toilet and easy to get in with a wheelchair and turned around in the stall to get out. Koodoos to the centre for this.

Great venue. Did the backpack volunteer program with the Calgary Police Foundation. The facility is located in a great spot downtown, and is walking distance from restaurants, and the LRT. Very clean building. Exhibition hall was spacious, and modern. Bathrooms are large, and kept very clean. Really enjoyed my experience here.
