He met with us prior to the event and he listened to our wishes, as well as made sensible suggestions for the music as well as the organization. The wedding was at a remote location, one hour away from Montreal, and he still brought many pieces of quality equipment for lighting and music. His communications were very clear, he arrived on time. Everyone enjoyed the evening, and had a chance to hear and dance to their favourite tune. We highly recommend him. Thank you very much, Vlad!

Do NOT hire Djing.ca. This company is unprofessional, dishonest, and will ruin your event.

The DJ was impossible to reach, and the DJ coordinator from Djing.ca was just as unresponsive.

On our wedding day, the DJ arrived after the ceremony had already started — he was supposed to be there 3 hours earlier.

He completely ruined the music, playing the wrong songs during our most important moments, and took zero accountability.

When we complained, the owner Gabriel refused a refund and even asked us not to share the truth about how terrible their service was.

This company has no ethics, no customer service, no expertise, and no integrity. Every other vendor at our wedding (MC, planner, etc.) agreed it was a disaster — and we have emails and screenshots to prove it. They are trying to hide this information by using bots and friends/family to review their company. I promise, you will have better experience anywhere else... Literally. Do not hire them!

Please don’t make the same mistake we did. Hiring Djing.ca will destroy your event. Honestly, a Spotify playlist would have been better.

We hired DJing.ca for our wedding and it was an absolute nightmare that ruined what should have been the best day of our lives.

Our assigned DJ, Ayo, showed up at approximately 4:00 PM, despite written commitments and multiple prep meetings confirming he would arrive between 12:00–1:00 PM. Our ceremony began at 3:30 PM, meaning he wasn’t even there for the start. There was no sound check, no setup, and guests were literally seated in silence while my bride learned — minutes before walking down the aisle — that the DJ hadn’t even arrived. The emotional distress caused here is indescribable.

The failures cascaded all night:
• Two setups not delivered — Ayo agreed in writing to provide one setup for the ceremony and one for the reception. He never delivered, resulting in poor sound quality outdoors and technical issues throughout the evening.
• Reception entrance ruined — Our chosen entrance song was ignored. We walked into silence while our guests awkwardly looked around. The MC had to step in to tell Ayo what to play.
• First dance disaster — Ayo played the WRONG track (“All of Me” by John Legend) instead of the custom mix he himself created. I had to leave the dance floor mid-performance to fix it. It was humiliating and inexcusable.
• Ignored playlists & cultural theme — We spent hours creating playlists to reflect our cultural heritage. He disregarded them and played generic wedding music that had nothing to do with our event.
• Faulty microphone — The wireless mic (which we PAID for) cut out repeatedly during speeches. Family tributes were ruined. Our venue coordinator eventually had to provide a backup mic, but the damage was already done.

We have witnesses and written proof:
• MC Gee (who was amazing, definitely hire him!) texted us confirming the DJ was four hours late, botched the entrance, had no clue what music to play, and that in his 20 years of experience this was a “big mistake” and we “definitely deserve our money back.” (see attached screen shot)
• Wedding coordinator Rachel texted us at 3:15 PM confirming the DJ still hadn’t arrived despite his 12–1 PM commitment, while guests and photographers were already waiting.
• Screenshots of these texts and other evidence are available.

What makes this even worse is the company’s response. Jean Operania (client contact) initially apologized and promised to escalate to management. Gabriel Foltys (owner) admitted fault and promised to issue a refund (minus extras like the fog machine). Yet despite this clear agreement — on a recorded call — Gabriel is now refusing to honor the refund. Even more outrageous, he attempted to have us sign a document stating we would not post negative reviews and that we would release his company from all responsibility, just to receive a $500 refund. This attempt to silence us was manipulative, insulting, and completely unacceptable.

This is beyond unprofessional. It’s fraudulent. We paid thousands of dollars for a service that was not delivered, and instead of accountability, DJing.ca is trying to bury the issue, silence unhappy clients, and walk away.

Do yourself a favor: DO NOT hire DJing.ca, Gabriel Foltys, Jean Operania, or DJ Ayo for your wedding or any important event. They ruined ours and showed absolutely no integrity in making it right.

I would strongly advise caution when considering this company. They lack professionalism, accountability, and transparency, which ultimately led to a disappointing experience resulting in a $880 loss.

We booked DJing.ca for our wedding scheduled for September 6, 2025, and signed the contract on July 28, 2024, with a deposit of approximately $880. Despite multiple attempts to contact our coordinator Paula, Jono, who I initially spoke on the phone with, as well as reaching out to the head office via phone and email, we received no response over an extended period. Our efforts included leaving voicemails and sending emails, but we were met with radio silence.

With the wedding date approaching and no updates regarding our DJ, we began to worry about the arrangements. Just over one month prior, we finally received communication from Jean, who appeared very kind and understanding of our concerns. Given the lack of communication and the circumstances beyond our control, we decided to select a different DJ to ensure our special day would not be missing a key component. We requested a refund of our deposit, but the company declined, despite the clear lack of communication and service failures on their part. To illustrate the severity of the situation, our DJ contacted us yesterday with enthusiasm about performing for us, unaware that we were in the process of canceling the event.

While we understand the importance of adhering to contractual obligations, this experience raises concerns about whether similar issues are common with this company. Their approach seems to involve promising a high-quality service, securing commitments through contracts, and then providing little to no communication, effectively forcing clients to seek alternatives under pressing circumstances.

For these reasons, I advise against engaging with this company, as their conduct may lead to financial loss and dissatisfaction.

Their level of professionalism blew me away. Jean did an amazing job at following up and ensuring we had everything we needed for D-Day, and DJ Raymond was very responsive, professional and flexible. Our guests loved his set list, and we received tons of compliments on the music. :) The price was really good for the quality of service received.

I worked with Gabriel and he did a fantastic job. Totally recommended 💯👍

In a couple of weeks I'm playing a big festival so I needed to do some practice with the proper gear. These folks now have CDJ 3000's which is exactly what I wanted to practice with.

Booking was flawless, the studio is very affordable and the place is perfect in its simplicity.

I was browsing online for a wedding dress for my son’s wedding and I came across DK Style. What a fantastic store. They have a huge selection of dresses in every size.
The colour palette for my son’s wedding is very particular and it hadn’t been easy finding a nice Mother of the Groom dress in an olive or sage green. I immediately found one at the store and Sylvia was so helpful. I normally can’t stand shopping of any sort but Sylvia (and the owner) made the whole experience very comfortable and easy.
They offer an alteration service as well as a decent selection of jewelry and purses.
I would definitely recommend this store for anyone looking for a wedding guest or evening dress.

Although such a positive experience at the time 9 months ago, now when it comes to trying to REACH THESE PEOPLE it's a nightmare! We are trying to get the dress that was paid for in full, and stored by them for later pick up. No phone. Nobody at the shop. Says they're open Saturday - nobody there. Says they're open Monday. No answer. I've tried email now, waiting to see if anything happens. We have a totally panicking bride who cannot get her dress!! DON'T STORE YOUR GOWN IF YOU SHOP HERE.

When I wanted to ask for information on one of the dresses the employee looked at me very disrespectfully from head to toe and asked me if I had enough money to buy it because it was very “expensive”. I chose my dress at Dream It Yourself boutique after initially marking it as my "wild card" store as it had the most unique dresses and was at the higher end of my budget. From the very beginning it was a top-notch store, with an extensive range of styles and incredible customer service from Laeticia. She was an absolutely wonderful stylist with amazing energy and the sweetest personality. It was thanks to her that she found my dream dress as it wasn't one I had seen online and she made sure everything came together perfectly for it! After having received my wedding pictures back, I'm reminded again how happy I am to have gone to this store, as I felt so beautiful in this dress and Laeticia's attention to detail and hands-on care during the fittings helped make it all come together and truly solidified my choice! If you come to this store, I hope you have the pleasure of working with Laeticia as well. :)

We had been to a handful of boutiques looking for my wedding dress. Unfortunately our experience at DIY left a sour taste in our mouths. We were happy it wasn't our first appointment trying on dresses because after our appointment here it tainted the experience. There was a strong language barrier with our bridal stylist. We even tried our best to accommodate them but there was no effort on their part and it made the whole appointment awkward and that we were bothering her. We also found she wasn't organized and didn't know any of the inventory. It was also frustrating to look at the dresses on the rack and not know the prices. We kept having to ask "how much is this one". The owner or what appeared to be the owner was friendly and was helping the lady next to us and sounded like they were having a blast. Just wish our experience could of been the same.

Unfortunately, I did not have the best experience at this store. There is nothing wrong with the store in itself and the staff. In fact, the store was beautiful and the consultant assigned to me was very nice. I also have nothing to say about the variety of dresses. However, I felt like the sizing was not very inclusive. Many of the dresses that the consultant pulled out did not fit at all. Some of them were ripped and damaged, probably by the previous girl who tried to squeeze herself in it. I would consider myself mid-size. I think i kinda felt in between their "normal" selection and their plus size selection. I could tell the consultant was uncomfortable and empathetic that i could not even get inside most of the dresses. The reviews for this place are so good! I wish I had a similar experience as everybody else 💔 I'm not saying you shouldn't go to this place. I think it's definitely worth a try, but I wish I had read a review from someone who had the same experience so I could at least be mentally prepared.

I had a great experience at DREAM IT yourself. This intimate boutique was appreciated after being overwhelmed by the high volume of people in the St-Hubert St bridal stores.

Elisa was my bridal stylist and upon arrival, she went through all the gowns they had and the different styles the designers were going for. I made Elisa aware I was most likely not buying my dress from DIY as I wanted to buy near my hometown and my purpose of the visit was to see what style I liked stress-free and she was very understanding! She pulled a lot of beautiful dresses and it helped me narrow down what style I was set on doing. The price point of their dresses is very affordable as well. If I didn't find a dress in my hometown I would have for sure done the trip back and forth to purchase the dress at DIY :)

Dress Scoop is a super cute boutique with great service and a nice selection of dresses. The woman who helped us was lovely and made the experience enjoyable. This was a Tiktok recommendation for me! I heard their brunch was excellent and decided to give it a shot with my family. I got the Hot Chocolate to drink, which I do have to say was delicious, very nice chocolaty flavor that doesn’t overwhelm you. I then got their pancakes, but was quickly overwhelmed by it. There was an insane amount of mascarpone on them, lol. There was some on top (along with a big spoonful of butter) and some in between the two pancakes. The pancakes themselves were extremely sweet! It tasted exactly like a cake. I had half of one pancake before I was stuffed. I also took one of their New York caramel rolls/croissants (I had also heard of it) for later (I was VERYY stuffed from the pancakes 🥴). When I tried it later on, I was tad bit disappointed. The filling was okay, and so was the surrounding croissant. Not extraordinary but not horrible. The atmosphere was nice though — if you sit on the left you get a nice view of the oratory. Our waiter was also very nice and welcoming, so excellent service! 3/5 — nice experience, but just okay food.

The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere — modern, stylish, and it really feels high-end. Unfortunately, the cake didn’t live up to expectations: it was very sweet with a strong artificial flavor that reminded me of canned cherries, and considering the price, it didn’t feel worth it. Service was also disappointing — the staff member who served me (a young woman with short curly afro-style hair) had a noticeably unfriendly attitude, which contrasted with the otherwise elegant setting.

Incredible food, welcoming to a family with children. Wine tasting before selecting what to pair with your meal. Authentic French Canadian cuisine, worth the price!! Steak, Salmon, Burgers, Excellent! Our waitress spoke in French for my husband, and English for me. Lovely!

Absolute insanity, so fresh, so tasty, so decadent, so much flavour and richness to these pastries. We loved the many things we’ve tried. I always find the service impeccable, they pride themselves in offering top service and it’s very obvious from the way you are greeted from the beginning. The terrace is lovely as well and I love the expensive packaging of the products. Yes this place is on the pricier side but personally I find that the size and quality of the sweets match the higher price range. This place is all luxury and I love it.

We came here after seeing the sunset from the St Joseph’s oratory on Labour Day. It was slightly busy. The sweets look mouthwatering and beautifully presented. The food is just as delicious. Price is on a higher side for a cafe but the ambiance is rather worth it.

Great option for pre-made food. A wide variety to choose from. We primarily come for the soups and always get "buy two get 3rd half price". Sometimes it's buy 2 get the 3rd free.

We find the food in general on the salty side, but that may be what the locals want.

Dear Eatz Chez Vouz, I really want you to be my go to place for home cooked food so please cut down on the salt and sugar. My husband bought the beef stew and I bought the meatloaf slice with the creamy broccoli salad as a side. Both my choices were overly sweet and the stew was so salty he ended up throwing the rest away. Very disappointing 😞
I will say that the soups we bought were delicious. Beef and Barley and Cream of Chicken. I was able to add some water to adjust the salt level.

A new favourite of mine as of the last month or so. I love their 3 salad option, makes for such a good lunch - and the fact that they have so many options means I can always switch it up. Don’t recommend, teachers would be late, skim through a lot of stuff, finish class early (1h early),would change the location of the class without notifying the students, would always be missing stuff , would mid class to go buy missing ingredients, didn’t tell us we had acces to online documents to study, overall unorganized , about half of the class failed their final exam

The teachers are super cool and educational. They clearly love the field and are great at conveying information, and are also very laid back about making mistakes and taking more time to learn, so totally no stress about that.

I had such a wonderful time. The whole 4 week course passed so quickly and was so much fun. We were 12 students and got along fast, Maxime was amazing, he has the knowledge, the humour and the experience, exactly what you need from a mentor. The whole course was very comprehensive and gives a great theoretical overview with a very practical approach. I recommend this to anyone who wants to learn what happens behind the bar or want to add magic to their cocktails.

Placed a large order with Edible Arrangements on Boul Saint-Laurent of 3 different bouquets of balloons, a teddy bear, and chocolate covered strawberries. Everything arrived as prearranged and on time. They were big and beautiful, BUT ... the $71 Bobbi's Balloon Bouquet that had a plush teddy bear were deflated and on the floor within 9 hours of receiving them. Didn't even last the celebration.. very disappointed. Although I may recommend them, beware the latex balloons may not last the length of your event and will likely start falling during the celebration. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
UPDATE: Was contacted by the owner of this Edible Arrangements store. They said they felt my review was unfair and negative even though my review is complementary, states the balloon bouquets we big and beautiful, delivered on time and as requested. EVEN THOUGH I said I may recommend them but be aware, that the latex balloons MAY start to fall during your celebration which is fact.. The owner even tried to offer me 12 chocolate covered strawberries if I removed what they said was "a negative review". In the store owners response to my review, they even say the same thing I did about the balloons deflating but my review because it's not 5 stars .. is considered negative by the owners. The store owner messaged me numerous times asking me to remove my complimentary, fair and honest review.

I was so excited to receive my order for my wife’s birthday. I bought a set of 12 balloons and also a “Happy Birthday” platter, and I even paid extra for same-day delivery.

Unfortunately, within just 2 hours of receiving them, most of the balloons had already deflated and fallen to the ground. This was extremely disappointing, as I expected them to last at least through the celebration. The quality of the balloons was not at all what was advertised.

What’s more concerning is that I noticed another customer in the past had the exact same issue, which shows this problem hasn’t been properly addressed.

Overall, the experience was frustrating. Considering the poor quality and the fact that I paid extra for timely delivery, I feel it’s only fair to request a refund for this order. I truly hope the business can address this issue so that future customers don’t have the same experience.

Ordered a cupcake box with flowers to send to my friend for her birthday. The product was fine, the service not so much. Even though the website clearly stated it would be hand-delivered in a refrigerated van, the items were just left outside in the heat. My friend found the box after a day and the store said the cupcakes are still fine to be eaten even after being in the heat. I don’t think that is a very responsible piece of advice. I contacted support online again then the manager gave me a call. Not apologetic at all, just told me, he will have my friend come and pickup new cupcakes from him and asked me for 5 stars review. I was not happy but was going to let it go until my friend told me he called her and said my complaint was a lie, the spot the cupcakes were left was very obvious. Well that is beyond the point, you did not hand-delivered as promised, did not offer to send new ones until a second complaint was filed and decide to complain to my friend about me? How unprofessional, bad customer service, clearly does not know how to do business. Would not recommend.
