I came in with high expectations, and they were definitely surpassed. My hair looks and feels amazing. I showed them my inspiration picture, and they matched the highlights perfectly. The colour was exactly what I wanted and blended seamlessly. I also got a trim and face-framing layers, which helped to get rid of my previously damaged ends.

My friends and I hired Elite Limousine for a ride around the city before starting our party. The service they provided us was exceptional. Franco, our driver was very professional, kind, courteous, and, ponctual, he arrived very early. The limo was clean, great, and very equiped. We brought our own champagne bottles and glasses. We hired the stretch SUV to give our boys a special ride to prom, and boy did it deliver! The Driver Fabio was great, arrived early, did all the pick ups and we all met centrally for pictures. No words can describe how thankful I am to Nadia and her team. Nadia’s expertise was beyond what any one can imagine. She is a true artist and has a passion for what she does. She altered my wedding dress to perfection and it truly looks painted on me. All the personalization of my dress was done by hand, something not all seamstresses can do; which Nadia has truly mastered. Her dedication and devotion is evident. I had the absolute worst experience here. Thank goodness I was not a bride, or maybe if I was I would have been treated differently. I called before showing up to ask if 2 weeks was enough time to alter an area of the dress on my backside. And she said of course. (Prior to calling her I called my two other seamstress who turned me down because they are too busy). So I went one morning and I waited an hour to be seen. She chafed me $175 and said my dress would be ready a week and half later on the Wednesday and when I called the Wednesday morning she told me no miss we said Friday (the day before the wedding) in which I needed the alterations done by. I sent my husband on the Friday which we do not live in the West Island may I add and she told him it wasn’t ready so I when he gave me the phone to speak to her she said to give her until the end of the night. I told her even better I’ll give you until Saturday morning. I called Saturday morning at 9:30am she said I need 30 min. I said no problem I have time to go pick up my dress then go to Laval for 11am where I have my make up appointment. I walked in and the owner (lady who served me) did not even address me or come see me, she sent out her employee to tell me she needed 30 min I said absolutely not I need my dress the wedding is today I have make up and church I need the dress. She said it’s not done the machines in the back broke blah blah I said I’m sorry but it’s not a excuse my dress was supposed to be ready 3 days ago. I had to ask the lady working for my dress 5 time! The last time I asked I made sure she knew I was seriously angry. The owner did not come out to apologize or address me. I took my dress and left. I will be going back on Tuesday morning when I have the time to get a full refund. The dress is not done and when she asked me to come back a little later for her to finish I was absolutely livid. I paid $175 for alterations that were not done and I was lied to not only about the timeline of when it would be ready but about what was done to my dress. I don’t know how they run their business. I hope when I go for my refund the owner can address me herself. I don’t recommend this place to any brides or bridal parties.

Nadia was truly the most amazing, kind and genuine seamstress I could have ever hoped for. When I first went to her back in May, my dress was double my size and I was so overwhelmed with stress. From the very beginning, Nadia comforted me with her warmth and reassured me that everything would be okay. And she was right, she worked her magic and turned my dress into something beyond my dreams. Every step of the way, she was patient, caring and so full of love. Nadia is such a rare and beautiful soul and I will truly miss seeing her. I wholeheartedly recommend her to every single bride, she will make you feel just as special as she made me feel.

Severely disappointed — the customer service was far below expectations and the quality of the alterations nowhere near matched the price charged.

I was recommended this place by Créations Vézina, but unfortunately my experience was nothing short of frustrating. I feel let down — not only by the alterations, but also by the complete lack of professionalism.

The first appointment gave me hope, as the dresses hanging in the shop (presumably made by them) looked beautifully sewn. I trusted that my own dress would be handled with the same care. The final bill was hefty, but at the time, I reassured myself that this was a sign the work would be impeccable. I could not have been more wrong.

At my second and final appointment, scheduled for 5 PM, I received a call from the owner saying it would be delayed by 45 minutes because a few brides were late to theirs and it caused delays. I'm an understanding person, I'm a bride, I know the days get hectic, no worries. When I arrived at 5:45PM, the assistant looked at me confused and insisted my appointment was at 6 PM. When I corrected her, she just stared blankly at me. Not the woman trying to gaslight me?

We returned at 6, only to wait another 45 minutes because they were “still steaming the dress.” I had left my gown there for a month, yet they were over an hour and a half late and unprepared. The lack of accountability or even a simple apology was astonishing. And when the dress finally came out, it was wrinkly. At that point, I was literally questioning my own sanity.

As for the alterations: yes, technically the dress was altered, but the work was sloppy. There are some strange wrinkles in the back of the corset that weren’t there before! Some parts still looked unfinished, wrinkled and rushed. For the price charged, the results were inexcusable.

To add insult to injury, another bride was there at the same time and was experiencing the exact same issues. It made me realize this wasn’t an isolated case, but rather a reflection of how poorly managed this place is.

In short, the service was disrespectful, the craftsmanship disappointing, and the overall experience completely unworthy of the trust or money invested.

When we decided to plan a destination wedding in Montreal from Philly we knew it would be impossible to do without help. We found Elyna on Instagram and immediately could tell before even meeting her that her style and vibe matched ours. We didn’t even consider hiring anyone else and it was the best decision we could have made. For the past 14 months Elyna has been my savior. She responds to emails ASAP, no matter the time of day. She helped me with EVERYTHING, down to where to have dinner three days before the wedding. We wanted a very particular, out of the box vibe for our wedding - speakeasy/nightclub/no sit down dinner - and she nailed it. This type of off-formula wedding could easily feel unorganized with the wrong person running the show - Elyna has a well oiled machine that can handle anything. We did not want an MC that announced the transitions of the evening and was not a “wedding DJ” - Zo KILLED it. Our glam squad was incredible, flowers gorgeous and caterer amazing/accommodating. Our guests told us it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to, it reflected US perfectly and hit home on all cylinders (food, drinks, music and ambiance). Thank you Elyna for these memories; it will be weird not corresponding regularly but hopefully our paths cross again !!

We decided end of July 2019 that we wanted to get married before the end of the year. We reached out to, and chatted with, several wedding planners that just didn't click or impress us. We then received a referral from a friend in Montreal who had worked with Elyna in the past. As soon as we met with her, we knew right away that she would get the job done.

Elyna's no BS approach was right up our alley. She has tons of amazing vendor contacts and relationships in the Montreal area, and is great for getting a feel for what you want, and then running with it and getting sh*t done. She is super responsive, talks you off the ledge when needed and provides great ideas you never would have thought of.

When we felt like our budget was getting a bit blown up, and that we had lost control, she was great for owning where things had gone wrong, and immediately adjusted to get things back on track.

Like most couples of 2020-2021, we went through the covid-nightmare. We had already found the venue, DJ, photography pre-covid but we were missing decor, flowers and all the other small things that we didnt know about. Lucky for us Elyna came to our rescue. We didnt take her full package, so we used her on a hourly basis. Elyna was quick to the point, organized and hit ever detail that we were missing. Ever minute we had with her was put to good use. (15 hours total) If it wasnt for her and her team , we wouldnt had an amazing June 2021 wedding. She is very professional, has a great personality and is very passionate about her job, which in our opinion makes her the right person for any weddings or events. We highly recommend her. We will definitely be spreading her good name.

She even delivered my alterations earlier than expected, which was such a relief leading up to my wedding. I would highly recommend ELZi for anything alterations-related, especially wedding dresses, and will definitely keep her in mind for any future needs!

Very cozy nice place to organize every kind of events. First time visiting for a company employee's party and I absolutely liked it! A lot of parking spots, there are several good places for take photos, be a little bit far of noisy area and have a good conversation, there is a place outside to smoke and the decoration is very nice.

My husband and I contacted Bassel, and he coordinated the entire wedding, including lighting, sound, DJs, a violinist, a video-booth, a photo-booth, an MC, and entertainment. He even went above and beyond to assist us in organizing the wedding schedule with the venue. He was really helpful with any questions we had, and he's really attentive to details, which is fantastic because he was able to see everything and ensure everything was going as planned.

I strongly advise against doing business with this car service! We had booked this company for a SUV limo for our wedding this past Saturday. We had paid the service in full at reservation by mistake as the owner charged us the full amount by “accident”!
On our wedding day, the driver showed up very late with an atrocious party bus!!! No one called us to advise of the change nor delay. I called the owner for explanation, he didn’t want to hear it and after a 20 min discussion he hung up on me.
I have never experience worse customer service ever.

I have gone with SLS for almost 20 years. This company has been around for 30 years. They are respectful and take care of their clients really well. I own a store and we have to always deal with bad clients. Especially clients who always think they are right. Little advice, if your already getting a great price don't start asking for more. Some clients always try to get more but do not want to pay for it. If you want a service, be ready to pay the price. If you don't like the price go somewhere else and don't go on these reviews and try to ruin businesses. Business people have families to provide for. They are the ones you will hurt.

SLS deserves only 5 star ratings because they are the best in the limo business. They are the most reliable, just to prove it, next time you see a limo in Montreal, look for the logo, majority of the time it will be SLS.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I booked with the owner of the company months before my wedding, was assured that everything would be taken care of. A few days before my wedding I get a call "confirming" the limousines that I ordered and everything was wrong. Was told too bad they couldn't do anything about it, only after my fiance and I said we would go with another company did they miraculously fix all the problems. Unfortunately, the problems did not stop there! On the day of the wedding, on the way to the ceremony, the brakes on the limousine I was in stopped working. Instead of pulling over like we asked, the driver kept on driving putting our lives in danger. We then CRASHED into the building upon arrival. The owner could not care less. No refund, no apologies, nothing. WORST COMPANY AND WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I would not recommend this company to anybody!!!

I am very happy that I used Empire group Limousines for my birthday. Even though we were in a hummer limo everyone was engaged with so much to do. The sound and light system just added more to the fun. I would absolutely recommend empire group Limousines to anyone having a birthday party.

My stay at Empire Suites in Montreal was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. From the beginning, I encountered nothing but poor service and complete lack of professionalism.

I called the front desk because the TV in my room wasn’t working. The receptionist sent someone up to repair it, but he didn’t actually fix anything. When I called back to let her know, she hung up on me. When I tried again, she finally admitted the TV couldn’t be fixed and that there were no other rooms available to switch into.

I asked if at least they could offer me a discount that could go toward my $52 daily parking fee, but she flat-out refused and said the price is “fixed.” Then, when I requested something as basic as a fork to eat my salad, she told me the hotel doesn’t provide that.

To make things worse, when I asked to speak with a manager, I was told there’s no manager available on Sundays. That is simply unacceptable for any hotel that claims to provide service.

I checked out on Monday, and I can confidently say I will never return to this hotel. Between the broken amenities, rude service, and lack of accountability, I would not recommend Empire Suites to anyone. There are far better places to stay in Montreal where guests are actually valued.

I am going through a very bad experience with the place. I had a booking , i paid a deposit of $250. Its been 10days now and i still have not gotten my deposit back. I contacted the hotel and they claim that i smoked in the room because they found empty cigarettes boxes in my hotel bin. This is absurd. Very bad experience on my part. I am still trying to get a refund for my deposit. I am sure i did not smoke in their establishment and they are trying to take my deposit

Close to the library and cool park. Staff at reception were kind and efficient with check-in process. The room and especially the bathroom were clean. The TV however was horrible and the price to park is sheer robbery $50 with tax. Also, zero gluten-free items for breakfast. Even simply just making sure there is one cereal item that is gluten-free would be SO helpful or yogurt, eggs.

We were assigned a room and given keycards. Before heading to a concert, we quickly went up to drop off my purse since I didn’t want to carry it. When we returned, our keys no longer worked. At the front desk, the concierge told us someone else was already in “our” room and sleeping there, and strangely, our room number wasn’t even in the system. At first, they couldn’t locate my purse, but it eventually “reappeared”—with everything inside except the $200 cash, which had been stolen.

They reassigned us to another room, but the next day (today), nothing was resolved. They haven’t reimbursed us or taken accountability, and now we’re being told we have to wait for higher management to get involved—despite this being entirely their mistake. Honestly, very sketchy vibes.

One of the Worst Hotel Experiences – Avoid Empire Suites Montreal

I rarely leave bad reviews, but my experience at Empire Suites in Montreal was extremely disappointing.

From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff were unfriendly, uninterested, and completely lacking in basic customer service. Not a single smile or effort to be welcoming. Any questions or concerns were met with rudeness—both in person and over the phone.

The so-called breakfast was nearly nonexistent. The coffee was absolutely terrible, and what little food was available was minimal at best.

My room had a broken thermostat, making it impossible to stay comfortable. On top of that, the daily cleaning service was completely unreliable. Some days I received clean towels, other days nothing at all—no consistency or communication.

This hotel does not meet even basic standards of hospitality. I would never recommend Empire Suites to anyone and will absolutely never stay here again.

Corina and her team are excellent stylists, funny and kind. They always deliver the best results in an efficient manner, at a reasonable price. She always understands exactly what I want in spite of giving a very brief description. I highly recommend this salon to everyone, regardless of gender, as they tick all the boxes. I have become a loyal client and will stick with Corina and her team as long as I can for any hairstyle I’m in the mood for.

I had such a great experience at this salon! The prices are very fair compared to other places, but the quality of the service is truly outstanding. The staff is friendly, professional, and really takes the time to make sure you leave happy with your look. I walked out feeling confident and pampered! I’ll definitely be returning and recommending them to friends.

After having kissed every 🐸 (hairdresser!) in Montreal, I FINALLY found something better than a prince- I found my QUEEN and her name is Corina!!👑❤️‍🔥 Ive asked every hairdresser for copper hair, been refused at every turn but it took someone who truly understands hair & colour to have the confidence and know-how to not just get the job done, but to do it better than I ever could have imagined. The time, care & patience Corina showed me is without compare- equally, Pedro is the ultimate gentleman who gave me the PERFECT blowout, what an asset to an already amazing team🔥 Ionela, busy beautifying her own client, added an atmosphere of warmth & humour with her personable approach and charm. I truly can’t say enough about my experience at Salon En Vogue- with a born leader like Corina at the helm, it’s no wonder they’ve been around for over 15 years. I moved to Montreal in 2021 after living in Europe and the US, and for years I struggled to find a salon that could deliver the same high-quality balayage I was used to abroad. Most salons I tried were average at best, and the color didn’t grow out well. Since I prefer a natural, rooty blonde look that requires less frequent touch-ups, it was important to find someone I could trust with both technique and vision.

That all changed when I discovered En Vogue. The first time I met Ionela, I was honestly nervous; I had been disappointed so many times before. I explained what I was looking for, showed her pictures of past color I loved, and even admitted how hesitant I felt. She listened carefully, explained her approach step by step, and then delivered the most beautiful result.

Corina gave me the perfect cut to match, and I’ve been returning to both of them ever since 2023.

Ionela and Corina are truly exceptional. If you’re looking for global-level quality, attention to detail, and stylists who genuinely care about how you look and feel, I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Absolutely do NOT recommend this salon.
I went in for a balayage and left with what looks like a DIY bleach job done in the dark. The back of my hair is patchy, uneven, and literally three different colors with zero blending. It’s like they stopped trying halfway through. They clearly put effort into making the top layer look “okay” so you don’t notice the disaster hiding underneath until you actually look at your hair especially in natural light. It’s beyond disappointing and honestly feels deceptive.

Keep in mind they charge top dollar for this kind of work. I paid close to $600 for this mess and only realized how bad it was after another hairdresser showed me what was hiding in the back & underneath and it took her HOURS to fix the mess they’ve made. If you’re not an influencer, they will botch your hair simple as that.
Save your money and your hair.

All our feet are still booming with excitement! Marco and his team left a standard that cannot be beaten. All our guests never had an experience like what entertainment stars left us. The music choices were fantastic and the dance floor was never left empty from start to finish. I highly recommend this company and will absolutely be referencing them for any upcoming weddings I hear about! Thank you to the DJ and Marco once again, you guys were fantastic!
