Everyone deserves at least one proper hat and Madeleine can craft one just for you.

It’s not often that you get to meet the designer of your dress!! Noor does incredible work & her dresses have a European feel, which I love (she makes custom gowns as well!). If you’re trying on dresses for the first time, go crazy and try every possibly style on so you know what works best with your shape. I had no idea I’d ever end up with a trumpet gown, but it was the best choice I ever made. I love the employees that work there because they make you feel so welcome & loved. I would highly recommend keeping your party very small to avoid unnecessary opinions of family members and friends. It’s your day - pick the dress you feel best in!
Fun fact: this was the only bridal boutique I went to and I found THE ONE same day. I almost cancelled my appointment initially because life was so busy but then I decided to go for fun. I didn’t go in with any expectations or a mentality that I would get my dress that day, however, her designs were just so incredible I could not leave without my dress. Chic Bridals Toronto delivers the experience you are looking for that many of the bridal boutiques in Toronto do not compare. Noor, the designer, and the Chic Bridal team helped me choose the dress, overskirt, accessories and veil to make my wedding look perfect. They expertly guided me to determine which fit I preferred the most and once I found the dress, I was beyond happy and brought tears to my whole family.

The overall experience from the amazing team, to the large selection of dresses, having the ability to work directly with the designer herself and true quality and value of the dress (confirmed by my fairy godmother seamstress) are reasons I would buy my dress again and again. I received so many compliments about my dress and was extremely comfortable in it for the 17 hour marathon day.

I had the BEST experience with Noor and the entire Chic Bridals team! From my first appointment to try on dresses to final pick-up, they were fantastic. Noor is absolutely amazing and so talented, she was there at my initial try-on appointment and made several customizations for me. I got the Danita gown with additional beading at the back (instead of sheer). Noor also made me a custom full overskirt to turn the dress into a ballgown, and a custom glitter veil with beading along the sides to perfectly match my dress. I was between sizes, so we purchased the larger one anticipating needing to take it in – but when I went for my “Meet the Dress” appointment, it fit like a GLOVE, Noor had gone above and beyond to make the dress to my exact measurements. We also used their in-house alternations for hemming, shortening the straps, and adding hooks to the gown to hold the (very heavy) overskirt.
The craftsmanship, customer service, and overall experience were simply magical, and I cannot recommend enough!

Amazing service! Yustina, Rita, and the designer Noor were so helpful and so great! So creative and excited to help. It was such a fun experience and felt like playing dress up! They helped me find my dress, and gave me such a great experience! Highly recommend 10/10 experience!

Also the dress selection is great, they have so many options and styles and great size options! I’d been to other stores and couldn’t try on as many dresses because of limited sizing options. So this was a nice change.

I was very nervous finding a seamstress I could trust for my wedding gown. Thanks to some good reviews I took a chance with Christiane and so happy I did! She was such a pleasure to deal with and so patient with me. She worked on my dress until she was happy with it and everything was right. She was super nice and took her time with me. I was so happy with her that I also had her alter my bridesmaid dresses as well as mother of the bride. She was fair on price and met tight deadlines. I brought my new $400 haute couture skirt to get it hemmed. I never expected that something so simple and common would end up destroying the skirt. When I got it back, it no longer fit the way it did when I first bought it. Instead of falling in a flattering A-line shape, it looked like I was wearing a barrel.

When I expressed my concern, the seamstress told me she had cut off the top part of the skirt—meaning she had removed the elastic waistband and about five inches from the top to shorten it. This completely disfigured the skirt. To make matters worse, the stitching was so poorly done that it made the skirt look cheap, which was especially upsetting given its quality and price.

She offered to correct it, so I left it with her for another week. However, when I picked it up, it wasn’t much better. In fact, the pleats on one side were now deformed, making it look even more barrel-shaped and uneven.

At that point, I didn’t bother leaving it with her again. I had essentially lost my skirt. There is no way I can wear it now.

I bought my dress and had all my alterations and bridesmaids done with Christiane's! It was more amazing than I expected and she treated us so well I will always return for anything I want done! Thank you soooo much !

Christiane is such a beautiful women and easy to work with. I had my wedding gown alteration done in no time and she made my custom veil. She really knew exactly what I need. Very happy with the service and highly recommend ❤️

In September, I needed a bit of a short notice addition of drop shoulders to my wedding dress. I called and asked if it was possible within the timeframe. Christiane accepted to do it and she did an amazing job. She is so kind, caring and truly is a blessing! Fair and reasonable in pricing. Feels like family someone said and that was true. There is not enough good things I could say about this boutique. After going to 2 different stores, trying on over 20 dresses, and still not finding that "this is it" feeling, I was getting pretty discouraged. My maid of honour bought her dress from Dominique last year and suggested we call. She called and they were able to squeeze us in within a couple hours. We showed up and I described to Dominique exactly what I wanted and was looking for. The FIRST dress she brought me to try on was it. Before I even got it pulled up passed my hips, I knew I loved the feeling of it. The material, quality, shape, build, support ... Everything was perfect. I walked out and my bridesmaids and mom began to cry. I lost my best friend 4 years ago, and when I tell you that I stood on the pedestal and looked at myself, I felt her with me more than I have in so long. It was a perfect day. For the rest of my days I will send anyone to Dominique 💜

My daughter was too impatient to wait for me to go prom dress shopping. She went to a different dress shop and left crying ad the experience was stressful and she had no one to help her. I, in the past, have previously bought my wedding dress at this beautiful boutique and I already knew she would get treated like a princess there. Needless to say, both my daughter and I were not disappointed.

We had three favourite dresses and this is the one she said YES to!!!!

After driving around Ottawa and trying on various dresses, I ended up at Dominique Lévesque thanks to a Google search. I was a bit anxious since I didn't have an appointment, but the staff were super friendly and accommodating. They really came through for me because my party was in just 2 days and my original dress got ruined (definitely a memory I'd rather forget 🤣). I was feeling pretty nervous. They helped me find the perfect dress, even though it wasn't the color I initially wanted, but everyone pitched in to make it work. I'm so thankful and appreciative 💕

Extremely Disappointed – Would Not Recommend

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience so that other brides don't go through the same stress before their wedding.

I brought my wedding dress to Ele Bridal over a month ago for alterations and left with a dress that is still unfinished, too small, and completely unwearable — just days before my wedding.

The experience was filled with poor communication, multiple rescheduled and disorganised appointments, and work that was either rushed or not done at all. I had five fittings, and at each one, I was promised the dress would be nearly finished — but key alterations like the hem, bustle and sleeves were repeatedly ignored or done poorly.

At the final fitting, I waited over 2.5 hours in a hallway while the seamstress frantically rushed to finish last-minute work. In the end, the dress was still not done, and I had no choice but to take it home unfinished. As my unfinished dress was carried out the door, the seamstress suggested that my friend who makes costumes could finish the dress... A second professional seamstress has since confirmed the poor quality of the alterations, and I'm now faced with having to find a new dress days before my wedding.

This was an incredibly emotional and disappointing experience. I trusted this business with one of the most important elements of my wedding and was let down at every step.

I have asked for a refund and waiting to hear back. I will update accordingly.

I do not recommend Ele Bridal to any bride or client seeking reliable, professional, or timely service.

I had the absolute best experience from beginning to end with my dressmaker, Charifa. From our very first consultation, she truly listened to my vision and made me feel completely at ease. She brought every detail to life with such care, talent, and professionalism.

Her attention to detail and precision were incredible—every stitch and adjustment was done with the highest quality. The final result was beyond what I had imagined. My dress fit like a dream and felt so uniquely me, all thanks to Charifa’s skill and dedication.

If you're looking for someone who genuinely cares about your vision and will deliver perfection with love and craftsmanship, I can’t recommend Charifa and Ele Bridal Alterations enough. They made the entire process such a joyful and stress-free experience!

I had such an amazing experience with Ele Bridal and Charifa! I went to the Gatineau location where Charifa was absolutely nothing but warm and welcoming. She made sure all my needs were met along the way, ensuring my vision became a reality with my dress. Communication was crystal clear, and Charifa was even so kind to drop my dress off to me after my last fitting. 10-10 experience!!

Writing on behalf of my Fiancee: If you are assigned to Charifa at the Gatineau location as your seamstress; RUN.

She has on 3 separate occasions told my Fiancee that her alterations were done only for my Fiancee to drive across the city from the west end and then show up to witness that ZERO alteration work has been done between appointments. From my understanding she has butchered one type of alteration, cancelled multiple appointments with little to no notice, and has rescheduled said appointments for various reasons while assuring that the alterations were already done; lying to my Fiancee's face directly. We are exactly a week away from when we have to travel for our wedding and the Dress is still incomplete and my Fiancee is currently scrambling to find someone to do the work last minute as a rush job.

Having worked in the Male side of the wedding industry I understand how important it is to stick to timelines and I also understand that under no normal circumstances (bar decision changes) should alteration appointments ever number even close to 6. I know dresses are different than suits in their requirements and I also know certain alterations may need to be completed before other alterations occur; but the timeline I described above is absolutely inexcusable. This goes double for not even being done on the 6th appointment.

I've currently sent an email to the business to sort things out and I will update my review accordingly. I expect a full refund for this series of blunders.

My Fiancee came home today after her final appointment (where she practically had to beg Charifa to let her take the dress home, despite it being in an unfinished state) and told me to my face that she now sees the dress differently and it no longer brings her joy. This deeply saddens me given that when she originally found the dress she told me that she had a "moment" and knew it was the one for her.

This business needs to reconsider Charifa, and develop a system to keep track of what their employees are doing. I genuinely believe this person wasn't doing any work at all between appointments. Initially we tried really hard to be empathetic to the situation but the lack of communication as well as the lack of actual work being completed has fractured our trust completely and we felt it best as a last ditch effort to try our hand somewhere else.

I had the loveliest experience with Diana at the Ines di Santo flagship! Working with her felt like I was living a fairytale - she was always so kind, attentive, and left me feeling truly special. My experience with Diana was the complete opposite. Leila was amazing. She had my mom's wedding dress for over 6 months, a dozen meetings, and I had no idea exactly what I wanted but she helped me design the perfect, colorful, unconventional alteration for my wedding. It was beautiful and just so perfectly suited to ME. Everyone at my wedding was speechless at what we created together.

Leyla was amazing! My wedding dress was originally strapless (in the before photo they are pinned on) and I wanted to add straps, and get it hemmed. She helped me execute my vision perfectly. At my first fitting I wanted some changes and she listened and did exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend!

I ordered the boxes for a fun surprise for my daughter on her journey from fiancé to Mrs. She was so excited and loves all of the specialty items that were chosen specially for a bride to be. My first Miss to Mrs box was great! The shipping was timely. The customer service team was very responsive when I needed to update my address. My favorite items in this box are the countdown calendar, t-shirt and eye masks. I’m excited for the goodies that are to come in my future boxes. :)

I just received my first box and it is so cute and useful! I definitely think this subscription is worth giving a try for a fun way to celebrate your engagement. I have seen some photos of other boxes and I’m not sure that I would use everything but the first box is 100% worth it and a great start to wedding planning or great to give to a newly engaged bride. I went to Olga's yesterday to shop for my wedding gown fabrics and the owner Ingrid and her employees are amazing. The best experience I have had since trying to find my wedding dress. Ingrid is friendly, funny, knowledgeable, helpful and just gets it. Ingrid went above and beyond to get me everything I needed, to connecting me to a seamstress for my dress and makeup artist to even recommended places for my husband to get his quality custom-made suits. Ingrid's taste in styles for the brides is impeccable. The beauty of Ingrid is that she works with your budget and she is not in the business of ripping off brides but to help them save while looking elegant. I highly recommend Olga's to every bride!!. I cannot sing enough wonderful praises for Olga’s fabric store. I stumbled upon this boutique on instagram and immediately reached out to Ingrid the owner. She was beyond helpful and sent me the most amazing lace and other fabrics. Ingrid knows her textiles and store inventory. She was so kind and generous with her time.
Shipping to the US is always an adventure, but Ingrid sent a very tidy looking package and it arrived quickly and intact.

I had a dress custom made by one of the incredibly talented people at Olga’s and I really could not be happier with the result. I showed Josephine a couple inspiration photos and she whipped this dress up without a pattern based just on the photos I showed her and it is perfect. And now - another showstopper for my friend's destination wedding. Arlys is always amazing with styling tips and honest advice. I found the most gorgeous emerald cocktail dress at Papilio for my anniversary party. The staff helped tailor the look to my body and made sure everything fit just right. The dress was so flattering, and made me feel amazing all night. You can also tell the quality of it just by touching the fabric. This place has such a special eye for pieces that are both timeless and show-stopping!

I had a great shopping experience last weekend looking for a wedding guest dress. Very friendly staff throughout and Hanan (spelling? I’m sorry!) was extremely helpful. I feel like I tried on half the dresses in the place. I was happy that they had quite a number of styles in the shop in my size (XL), and also offered the option to order in if what I was looking for wasn’t available. I would definitely return for an occasion dress in the future!

we had such an amazing experience at Park and Fifth in Calgary! After a long day of wedding dress shopping, this was our final stop for the day! We were pleasantly surprised with the cute area to try on dresses, and having a small private area to try them on. Our bridal stylist, Hannah was so great, she made us all feel comfortable and was easy to talk too. She made our experience so much better!

I went into Park and Fifth looking for a (very) last minute wedding guest dress.

I was nervous because a lot of boutique stores don’t carry larger sizes (I’m an XL-XXL), and worse yet, have made me feel very uncomfortable for being a larger size in the past.

My experience with P&F couldn’t have been more opposite. While there were less larger sizes on the floor, there were still plenty to try on, and more available for order. The staff were all so incredibly kind and SO helpful. They all offered assistance with zippers/ties/suggestions and opinions (when I asked for them). It felt like they were all truly invested in me finding the right dress, but were not pushy about it either.

Qyreenia is absolutely amazing! She’s so knowledgeable and lovely to work with. I was able to purchase all of my wedding day jewellery with her and I would recommend her to any bride looking for jewellery for her big day!

Qyreenia was very responsive in her communication and knowledgeable on a variety of hair accessories. I went in with the idea of getting just some hair pins or barrettes, but she was able to find an elegant piece that was light in weight and not overly flashy for my taste. The customer experience was great.

Had a wonderful experience! Beautiful jewellery and accessories to choose from! I purchased my veil, earrings, and my mother's jewellery from silver blush. She was so helpful, not pushy at all, her selection was lovely and her prices are great! One of my favourite retail experiences was at this store. It was challenging to pick because all of her items were exquisite and distinctive. Not only that, but Qyreenia didn't try to pitch anything and just gave her honest opinion on what would look excellent. The entire experience was wonderful.

I live in BC. I needed to order flowers for my cousin. This process was simple and friendly. A local owned shop I would happily support again. They did up exactly as I asked! The price was great for what I ordered. The flowers were fresh and arranged beautiful. Thank you!! Highly recommend.

Have used Strathmore flowers for a few years now. They are always professional, and their bouquets are absolutely beautiful. They go out of their way to make everything right. I would highly recommend them.

Today, when my friend and I passed by the Vivid Beige window display, my attention was immediately drawn to this dress. I was looking for an evening gown to wear to an event. The shop assistant kindly introduced me to many different styles, and I finally chose this red dress. The fabric is very comfortable, and the design is unique. I really like it, and I hope to visit often in the future.

My daughter and I visited the store for a mother of the bride dress and Judy provided us with the best experience! Her knowledge of the style of dresses she’s showed us, matched the theme of my daughter’s wedding. I was recently on the hunt for a dress to wear to a holiday party. After going to several malls and stores I stumbled on to this fantastic hidden gem of a store. Judy is fantastic. She can take one look at your body shape and make recommendations on outfits that would look fabulous on you. Every single thing she brought to the change room fit me perfectly. I went in for one holiday dress and came out with three different outfits for work. It would have been more but I had run out of time! I am so glad I discovered this amazing store.

I was shopping for a Mother of the Bride dress and getting discouraged until we found Vivid Beige. Judy gave us amazing service, the selection of dresses was the best we had seen anywhere in the city and the prices were competitive to other shops, maybe even better for the designer collection she had. I left with a beautiful gown and will definitely be back to check out the rest of the store!

After striking out at so many other stores, i found this one and I was so happy. Judy was absolutely amazing. I was looking for a dress for a wedding that was black tie optional, and she provided so many amazing choices. She got me to try dresses that i never normally would have, and i absolutely loved them. Instead of buying one dress, i bought 3 and a jumpsuit. As once she figured out what i liked, she brought me other options (i now have 2 dresses for wedding, a little black dress (which you always need) and a killer jumpsuit. Thank you, Judy! I originally found this beautiful little boutique on the Danforth when they were having a truck sale for Anais Anette (Photo below). Every interaction I had with Eunice, from purchasing my gown in October 2020 through to pick up in May 2022, was incredibly positive. I can’t thank her enough for keeping my dress safe for over a year when my wedding was postponed due to Covid. Eunice provided expert, personalized recommendations around undergarments, bustling, alterations and steaming. Alterations were high quality and affordable. Overall, I could not be more thrilled with the dress and the service I received at Vogue Sposa. Highly recommend.

I would give extra stars if I could. Could not find the dress I wanted and went to 8 different shops in Toronto with no luck. Ended up at Vogue Sposa and everything went to place. Eunice is your girl, don't look further. She made my dress pretty much custom made for under my budget. She drew it in front of me in 2 seconds, she understood exactly what I was looking for. LOVE !

Great service. We planned our wedding for out of town, dropped by, found the dress she liked and rolled from there. two weeks before the day we dropped in for a final fitting and the dress was labelled the wrong size, not the store's fault. three days later our rep drove from the store to our house 5 hours away and did the final fitting for us. that is going above and beyond. Extremely pleased with everything.

I've had an outstanding experience with Eunice at Vogue Sposa thus far. She carries the Anais Anette line, which is the only retailer in all of Toronto. The collection is modern with attention to detail. This line is definitely my favourite dress designer I've tried on after going to multiple boutiques. Eunice is so kind, patient and is also a very talented seamstress. I always look forward to my appointments with her and am so excited to see my final dress with custom veil!

I had the most amazing experience at Vezina and even found my dress! They have such a great selection of dresses, all of incredible quality, which made the process even more exciting. I was a little nervous going in, but the staff were so experienced, kind, and reassuring—they made me feel completely at ease from the moment I walked in.

The women who helped me were professional, sweet, and truly listened to what I was looking for. They guided me through everything while giving us space to decide, and they even had champagne to celebrate once I said yes to the dress!

Honestly, such a wonderful and memorable experience. I highly recommend Vezina to any bride! 💕

I had two appointments with Chantal and Megan, and both times I felt incredibly comfortable and welcomed. They were both incredibly patient, kind, and helpful. They pulled some "surprise" options, and I actually ended up saying yes to a dress I would have never chosen myself! So don't be afraid to step outside your comfort zone and let the experts guide you.

I also recommend making an appointment on a "Pop Friday" for an extra special moment with loved ones when you finally say yes to your dress!

The entire experience was truly special, and I will cherish the memories I made at Creations Vézina.

Wedding dress came 11 days after the promised date. At the moment of purchasing they said the date is approximate and it can arrive “a few days” before or after. They tried to charge me 700$ more for a ‘rush order’ to have it come sooner but it did not seem necessary because the delivery date was fine. Suddenly when I called them on the due date they said they’re on vacation for a whole week. Why did they not tell me when I purchased it or anytime during the 4.5 months when I was waiting for the dress?They were not able to track my 4000$ dress when I kept calling them a week after its supposed due date, they said they don’t have tracking info. Did not get so much as a single apology! Refusing to give a discount. On the day of pick up they told us we could have payed 300$ for a rush order, which is a complete lie because the day of purchase they said its 700$. They are denying all responsibility, and blaming me for not paying the ‘rush fee’, which was not necessary with the original due date. I now have only 2 days to have my dress adjusted and have to pay a lot more fees. Horrible experience terrible customer service.

I went here to try on dresses for the first time with three family members and it was a terrible experience. The woman working had no interest in even attempting to look like she wanted to be there and was absolutely useless. I would try a dress on and open the door waiting for her to come zip it up (as this was the process she explained) and she would be sitting at the desk looking on her computer. One of my family members just zipped up my dresses instead. She had no feedback and no interest in asking what I wanted to be able to help me find a dress. We all left feeling disappointed with her service.

In this world of plunging neckline wedding dresses, Chic Bridal is a breath of fresh air! My appt was a lovely experience, the lady helping me was super helpful and friendly! They have a beautiful little boutique, it was so refreshing to have so many modest dress options to look at! I was worried that when I found my dress that it would take months to come in and I don’t have a lot of time because my wedding is in 5 months. Luckily my dress was in the colour and size I wanted in a warehouse already made, and with paying an extra $100 for a rush order it came in less than 2 weeks! Experience at this bridal shop was a 13/10!!! Highly recommend this boutique to any bride to be. Katrina was so caring and personable. The entire 3rd level is reserved for one bride & their entourage at a time with lots of natural light, comfortable seating and lots of mirrors. She was so helpful. She even reached out a few days before my appointment to see my Pinterest board to pull dresses in advance. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

I'm writing this review to share my disappointing experience at this bridal shop. From the start, the service was a letdown. My stylist, Lauryn, was unwelcoming and didn't seem interested in helping.

A significant issue was the strict policy around trying on dresses. I was charged a fee, which was unexpected and frustrating, especially since the overall experience was so poor. The selection of dresses was also quite small.

During the appointment, I was not allowed to use the larger, more helpful mirror on the other side of the room. This forced me to rely on my friend's phone camera to get any sense of how the dresses looked on me. For such a significant purchase, it was incredibly difficult to make a decision without a proper view.

Overall, the combination of an unfriendly stylist, a limited collection, and a restrictive, inconvenient try-on process made this the worst bridal shop experience I had.

Stunning gowns, beautiful bright private studio and a kind positive stylist- a really wonderful experience! :) Fairy Dreams has a great selection at a variety of price points, and a huge totally private area to try them on complete with couches and multiple mirrors, big windows for your friends and family.
