I enlisted Top Knot as HMUA for my wedding and it was without a doubt, the best choice I could have made. Lisa and Erin are incredibly talented and patient and had to work with both adults and children on the morning of the wedding and made us all, especially the girls, feel like royalty!

My very heartfelt appreciation goes to Lisa who was not only down-to-earth and made me feel like family in her hands but also for hearing out my every thought and wish, recreating every hairstyle during my trials with that I even remotely considered, and was able to source last minute hair extensions for my dream hair style (perfect colour match might I add!).

I heard time and time again that many brides regretted their hair and/or makeup at their wedding and I can confidently say I loved both and it’s all thanks to Lisa and Erin.

We hired Top Knot to be our H&MUA for our wedding, and they were lovely! They were incredibly punctual and did amazing work. All of the bridesmaids and mothers looked gorgeous on our special day! They also helped out my husband with styling his hair. I would highly recommend them for your special event!

We rented out Top Knot Parlour for about 7 people for my wedding, and cannot recommend the experience enough. They provided a mimosa bar, yogurt parfaits, a wonderful board with smoked salmon, fruits, cheeses, pastries, etc, dress steaming, and an incredible team of hair and makeup artists. The day started early but felt so relaxing and special, everyone was so kind and helpful, we all looked and felt so beautiful, and overall the day just felt wonderful. Total costs including parlour rental and hair and makeup for all of the girls was about $3700 I think, and absolutely well worth it!

Choosing Top Knot/Neu Hue for my bridal party's hair and makeup services was one of the best decisions we made for our January wedding! Lisa is my usual hairstylist via Neu Hue and it felt natural to have her on my wedding team. During the trial period, I ended up changing my mind on the direction for my makeup, and Lisa and her team were super accommodating, booked me an additional trial, and made me feel completely at ease. On the day of our wedding, my bridal party got ready at the Parlour and it was fantastic! It was a completely stress-free and fun way to spend the morning and of course, everyone left looking and feeling beautiful! Highly, highly recommend Neu Hue and the Parlour experience.

Top Knot Brides did an AMAZING job at my wedding!! My bridesmaids and family members were incredibly happy with our hair and makeup, and my husband was awestruck with the result as well. Their team was super nice, friendly, professional, and a whole lot of fun! My hair tends to be very difficult to style and typically doesn't hold a curl, but Lisa knew exactly what to do - she got my hair to look exactly as I wanted it, and the curls held well into the evening! Steph did a great job with my makeup as well. She was incredibly knowledgeable about all of the products she was using. She and the other artists were also very responsive and knew exactly what to do when we requested changes to our looks.

My Husband and I were married here on February 1 and I cannot express how amazing of an experience we had. Everyone was so kind, every detail was perfect, communication was fantastic, and everyone made sure that my Husband and I were taken care of every step of the way.

Everyone we interacted with was amazing and it makes my heart so happy we had such a fantastic group behind us during our day. We used many of the recommended vendors and WOW they do not joke around. On top of Venue 308 we had spectacular vendors and our day was seamless.

We had our wedding at Venue 308 on August 17 and both wanted to post a review because our experience was so, so excellent. In addition to being a beautiful space, this venue boasts a team of event professionals who went above and beyond to make our day perfect. Communication leading up to the day was seamless and prompt, with lots of opportunities to amend our contract along the way (adding and removing services as our plan evolved). We opted to include month-of coordination through the venue, provided by Sarah Schmidt, who was an angel and a pro and a delight to coordinate with. She made the day itself run so smoothly that we could just enjoy ourselves knowing she had things handled behind the scenes. Everyone we interacted with up to and on the day was helpful, kind, and knowledgable (so many thanks to Chris, Amanda, Andrea, Seb, and Caro) - they could have done half as much as they did and still would have fulfilled the terms of the contract. The Venue offers a list of recommended vendors (so helpful!) but does not penalize you if you choose others (much appreciated!), in addition to offering an in-house decor package rental that is worth it if you use as much of their stuff as possible.
Thank you to the team for everything, we had the best time and appreciated every kindness along the way.

We had our wedding at Venue308 a few weekends ago, and it was incredible! The space is beautiful, and the extra room we rented for the cocktail hour was perfect for the 85 guests we had. The staff was amazing, from the months leading up to the actual day. Our day of coordinator, Jody, did an absolutely amazing job! She was so great to work with, covered all the bases and made sure everything came together perfectly! We cannot say enough good things about Venue308, they made the day completely stress free and so fun! Thank you so much to the team at Venue308!

Our 50 person wedding reception at Venue308 last summer was a dream. When I first walked through the venue I immediately knew it was the venue for us. It is so beautiful and unique in the details & incredibly well thought out spaces.

The bridal and groom suite are just so cool and made for such a great getting ready process. I love that they’re on different floors of the venue so we could both be there without seeing each other.

The planning process was made easy by the streamlined systems Venue308 has in place. I loved using the digital floor plan to plan where all the decor and seating would go. The ability to use the venue’s decor was a major selling point for me as it eliminated needing to add in an additional vendor.

All of the staff we worked with over the lengthy planning process were incredibly accommodating and flexible - even with multiple date changes due to COVID. We felt so taken care of and it really changed the expectations we had for customer service from other vendors!

Our wedding day was perfect in this stunning space, all of our guests just loved it. I will forever recommend this venue to everyone.

I had my wedding a couple weeks ago and I just wanted to take a moment to shout out the entire team at Venue 308, it is truly a beautiful space.
One of the features that sold it for us is there is getting ready areas for both bride and groom within the same building. You can have your ceremony and reception there, which makes it so much easier for everyone! They also offer a decor package at a fixed price, and you’re able to use anything from their inventory. This was so helpful cause they have basically everything you need, from arches, to variety of table numbers, to tea light candles its very extensive and honestly worth it! We only had to use minimal items of our own.
The entire team at the venue is so awesome, and offers exceptional service! They were very helpful, and was there with me every step in the planning process. They also just opened up a new event space right beside this venue and we were able to rent it for photo’s at a very reasonable rate, it would also make a great cocktail area. They truly think of every detail here, and we can’t recommend them enough! We are looking for a reason to book another event here cause it was the best day ever!

10/10 absolutely AMAZING local catering services. If I could give more stars I would. We had Visionary Cater our wedding and I would say every person who attended couldn’t believe how good the food was. Appetizers, entrees and dessert were all perfectly done. Will be looking to have them do other events for us down the road for sure. Highly HIGHLY recommended! Thank you Lindsay and the team.

5/5 does not meet the quality of the food Lindsay and his team delivered for our wedding. We went off menu and gave his team a new challenge of completing a 120 person plated dinner with burgers !! We did a beef burger, crispy Korean chicken burger, and a Mediterranean falafel burger (vegan). The food was amazing, portions HUGE and we received so many comments !

So thank you Lindsay and team for making our wedding dream come true !

The only thing I’d recommend to couples (and nothing wrong with visionary!), the food was SO good the cocktail hour snacks were gone !! I wouldn’t place them out as a buffet but have servers walk around with them. People loved them and took numerous quickly !

So if you are looking for a caterer for your wedding look no further !! Especially if you want to change from the tradition and have a fun twist on a wedding menu!

We had an incredible experience with Visionary Catering for our Nursing Week event. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Their staff is truly amazing—friendly, professional, and attentive to every detail. Julia especially stood out by seamlessly adapting to some last-minute changes and executing flawlessly. I recently hired Visionary Catering for a large corporate event for 450 people. It was an amazing experience from start to finish. Lindsay and his team took care of everything and the night of the event our guests were raving about the food. I would recommend Visionary Catering to any of my event colleagues! I hope to come back to Calgary to work with them again in the future!

I have been using Visionary Catering's services for the last two years for our corporate year-end party and other small events. They always show up with the best staff. Everyone is super helpful and has a smile on their face. Their service is 5 stars! Their food is incredible. All our guests rave about how delicious the meals are. Our experience with Artistic Decor Venue was a 10/10. If you are looking for a wedding venue (or other celebrations) and want a seamless experience that takes stress off of you, is executed flawlessly, has tonnes of flexibility, and is high value for the money, look no further. Elaine, the owner and operator of the venue, is extremely professional, creative, and detail oriented. She also acts as a wedding/event planner that knows her stuff. She impressed my wife & I so much so that we still talk about how incredible she is after over a month. She has a wide array of decorations that she guides you through with themes that you can alter with no additional cost (within reason). She has very sensible packages that come with so many things standard that you’d expect to be an add on at any other venue. She allows you to bring whatever caterer you want, and she has a couple of her own staff members who help with all sorts of tasks that you don’t even have to take note of during the event, because she is on top of everything. She is worth a call to inquire and meet her. The venue is gorgeous and she transforms it to exactly how she said she would…even more so. Our guest loved the venue. It was a pleasure to have our venue here with Elaine. Worth every penny and more. My friends are talking about having their wedding venue at her place when they get married, and many of our guests expressed how impressed they were with the venue. Planned an evening event here and was so happy with my choice! Decor was amazing and you get a lot for what you pay for, they have lots of great backdrop options and can make you something custom as well, and lots of little touches. I had an amazing experience at Atelier NuStyle shopping for my wedding gown with my mom, sisters, and in-laws. We had the whole place to ourselves and Todd made us feel welcome, celebrated, and not at all rushed. I had the absolute best experience at Atelier NüStyle. This was my third store and the experience blew my mind. Todd is an absolute GEM. From when I booked my appointment, Todd reached out personally over text to get more information (wedding date and approximate budget), and to thank me for booking with them.

My experience in store was nothing short of amazing. Todd was attentive in the styles that I showed him, but also encouraged me to explore styles that I maybe didn't think I would want. One of the things I appreciated the most was the he respected my budget.

Todd pulled some spectacular dresses and in the end, I was stuck between two. He allowed me to try them both multiple times despite nearing the end of my appointment slot. He encouraged me to walk around, played with the lights to let me envision what the dress would look like in different lighting. I could not be happier with the experience I had. The showroom is beautiful, there's plenty of space for my guests to sit comfortably. Finally, Todd recommended a fantastic seamstress to do the adjustments for my dress.

I felt compelled to write a review for Sunny and the entire positive experience! If you are a bride on a budget with champagne taste (or looking for a grad gown) I highly recommend checking out the dresses and working with Sunny to customize an option. She had magical suggestions and abilities to transform off the rack dresses as a lovely base to then be something unique and custom based on my vision. There is flexibility in pricing particularly when including alterations in the mix. They did not ask for my review and I did not purchase my dress yet but I wanted to share my experience to help others who are also not sure what to expect.

I absolutely recommend 10/10 experience!! I was beyond happy with my daughters custom made grad dress as It was PERFECT and brought me to tears. It was our first stop and I was expecting a long day of finding the perfect dress for my daughter. I didn’t even get the beautiful lady’s name but she was so kind and helpful. She told my daughter to find any dress she wanted and she would custom make it to her size and color. My daughter wanted a specific pink and the lady reassured me she would have it made in that color. Well… when it was time to pick up and try on the dress my jaw hit the floor after they opened the curtains!! The color and the fit was absolutely PERFECT!! I thanked her over and over again for doing a beautiful job. My daughter and I LOVE her dress. Thank you so much!!!

Hosted a conference at Kin Experience last November and my organization team and I really appreciated the timely responses from Max. The venue itself is charming and holds every amenity needed for snack bars as well as chairs and tables for guests. They were really flexible in terms of letting us set us and cleaning out too which helped the event go smoothly. This is a venue we will definitely keep in mind for next time! Thank you again!

Best wedding decoration rental! Keval was excellent! He was attentive towards us. Definitely recommend them.

Used Fork + Farm for a recent corporate Grand Opening and they are nothing short of amazing. I've used many caterers in Calgary....Jen actually took the time to meet with me first to view our massive spaces that were to be catered that evening, she understood the challenges and she was proactive in creating a plan.
She came up with a menu that everyone gave the most impressive feedback on, and helped me to plan our dealerships with food stations to keep people touring the spaces. Their charcuterie cart was a HUGE hit, the pizza forno was unbelievable, and their beef sliders and duck dumplings - mouth watering! She worked with my other vendors (beer trucks, wine providers, etc.) to execute the most seamless event for over 425 guests.
They even accommodated, fully ordered, and served a last minute switch out of hi-balls to canned cocktails, sourced locally, (which is important to our business).
Their service staff is unbeatable and go above and beyond. I will definitely use Fork + Farm again in the future and recommend them for any event. Jen will take the care to develop the best menu to impress your guests and her and her staff are unbeatable.

TL;DR - Ruined a wedding, Fork + Farm blamed the groom.

We hired Fork and Farm for a wedding last month, heard nothing but good things, guests were so excited for the food. We double and triple checked with the company making sure there was enough for 80 people, we did not have a budget, and we just gave them a credit card to bill.

Day of the wedding, all the food was still wrapped in plastic, and then everyone from fork and farm left, long before the reception started. That was interesting, but we thought nothing of it. As we unwrap everything and tables start lining up, we quickly realize there is not enough food for everyone. (Keep in mind, we only had 70 people at the wedding, we ordered for 80.)

We tried to call them. Multiple times, no answer, no help day of. So we had to order pizza for everyone. Some people had to leave early not getting ANY FOOD! If you're an immigrant, like my family is, that's a huge deal. Not good.

We called fork and farm multiple times, hearing different stories about how they mixed up the order, with 0 accountability, 0 remorse, and tons of throwing it back in our faces.

Here's what the groom had to say:

"There was no accountability from them. They claimed we had said early on that the order was for a lawn bowling event and a standing affair, which was never the case. From the start, I told the coordinator it was for our wedding reception, and she even congratulated us, so it was very clear. They also kept saying that because we didn’t have it in writing that it was a reception, there was no proof. The entire order was placed over the phone, and every time I spoke with her it was by phone. Before placing the order, I specifically asked if the amount would be enough for multiple rounds of food for 80–90 people. She reassured me that it would be. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case, and we ran out of food. In hindsight, it was my mistake to put full trust in her assurances without written confirmation, but I was relying on her professional guidance."

Disgusting behavior, yes I'm talking to you now Fork and Farm. You absolutely should be ashamed of yourselves. If you're reading this. Stay away!!!

Fork and Farm catered our wedding in Golden, BC and nothing could have been better. From the get go, the planning was fun, custom, and the communication was always quick and clear. Because our wedding venue didn't have an onsite kitchen, we needed a company with a mobile kitchen and we are so grateful we found F+F. The staff were kind, professional, and weeks later all of our guests are talking about how it was the best wedding food they have ever had! We did a plated dinner and were able to offer our guests three options that were all raved about. They also did 4 passed canapés during our cocktail hour and made sure that we had some packaged up for us during our photos so we didn't go hungry (so important on your wedding day)!! Thank you to Laura and team for everything, you made our day so special.

Fork + Farm catered our wedding on July 10, 2021, and they were AMAZING!! Nicole and the team were awesome to work with from the first day we met. From the initial meeting, the team created an experience we’ll never forget. The team is professional, accommodating, helpful, and go above and beyond to create a wonderful and unforgettable experience. 😊

The food, service and presentation were outstanding and exceeded our expectations. Our guests are still raving about the food and even said it was the BEST food they've ever had at a wedding. Fork + Farm also made our wedding cake, and not only did it taste delicious, but it looked beautiful. The bartenders and catering staff were also so much fun and really added to the atmosphere.

We are so happy with how everything turned out and would highly recommend Fork + Farm. Thank you so much to Nicole and the Fork + Farm team for the top-notch service, being part of our special day, and going above and beyond to make it amazing! 😊

We had the pleasure of attending a seminar at the Lodge of Queen Place, located on Queen Street West, and it was a truly memorable experience. The venue is a beautiful mix of artistic charm and contemporary design, making it perfect for both professional events and special celebrations.

The atmosphere is rich with character – blending a sense of nostalgia with creative, modern touches. Each space within the lodge is thoughtfully designed, offering a unique visual experience that sparks inspiration. The environment feels warm and welcoming, encouraging both focus and creativity.

One thing to note is that the venue features some sharp and narrow stairs, which may require extra attention, especially for guests with mobility concerns. It’s something to consider when planning events with a diverse group of attendees.

Despite that, the overall experience was excellent. The staff were kind, professional, and ensured everything went smoothly. The Lodge of Queen Place stands out not just as a location, but as an experience in itself. For anyone looking to host a seminar, celebration, or artistic event in a distinctive and memorable setting, this place on Queen Street West is a fantastic choice.

We had our wedding here in May and had an unforgettable time! We fell in love with this place at once. The quirky, eclectic decor really spoke to us and we knew instantly that this would be the venue. The most important factor for us was the ease and simplicity of planning.

Fortunately, the venue came with the best day-of event coordinator ever, Anna! From the very beginning, she made the whole process very simple. We just made the big choices (timeline, food options, DJ, extra decorations, and guest list) and she handled the rest. She shared in our excitement and we felt supported right up until the end of our night; everything that we needed, she took care of!

We ended up choosing the vegan dim sum station for our dinner station and it was phenomenal! Everything was made in-house and we wish that we ate more! All of the staff were professional and enthusiastic. We highly recommend this venue and Anna to anyone looking for an intimate and stress-free wedding!

We loved the venue as soon as we walked in – it has a great vibe – comfortable, and yet very elegant. We were tasked with finding a “cool venue” to host a high school prom, and after a long search – Lodge on Queen was the perfect fit.

We were even more impressed by the venue after meeting and chatting with Anna, the Event Planner there. She is so friendly and easy to work with – and had SO many great ideas that we incorporated into our event.

On the night of, we then got to meet the rest of Anna’s team and they were incredible! Super professional and helpful - we just showed up with bags of event gear and food – and they all immediately got to work right away knowing what to do! We did not have to do or explain a thing- they instinctively knew what to do. We felt like everything was completely well in hand the whole time.

Anna, her team, and the Chef were so organized, having everything timed down to the minute – which I was super impressed with and grateful for. The event went perfectly from beginning to end.

Anna even sewed one of our guests’ dresses back together right in the middle of the event – super impressive!!

The students are still talking about how great the venue was, and how amazing the whole evening was – and that is high praise from teenagers!

A big thank you to Anna and her team for a truly memorable night – we will not hesitate to book an event again here in the future.

I've got nothing but good things to say about Lodge on Queen after photographing an anniversary party there last fall.

Anna and her staff were on top of things from the moment I arrived until I left 4 hours later - between fulfilling my requests, as well as my clients and their guests. They also never seemed to slow down on the super tasty hors d'oeuvres being brought out for the guests.

What really captured my attention at Lodge on Queen was the look of the space. This venue has it all for the beautiful rustic loft look. Wooden floors, exposed brick, stained glass and walls covered in stunning art work. Even the furniture selection was very tastefully done.

All in all, I highly recommend this venue for anyone to looking for a place to host their event or wedding. You really can't go wrong.

Amazing!! The space was as beautiful as expected and was the exact right vibe for the wedding we were looking for.

We had the pleasure of working with Melissa and Morgan (owners of Lustre Events) to design and plan our summer 2022 wedding in Toronto at the Miller Lash House. We were blown away with their services from start to finish. They are thoughtful and observant in obtaining information from their clients about design preferences. When we received their design plan for us, we could not have been more thrilled. They captured all the elements of the design and wedding experience that we were hoping for and even suggested additional special elements (like a Tiki bar) that we hadn’t thought of ourselves, but absolutely loved. Melissa and Morgan were also thoughtful in helping us plan the multicultural aspects of our wedding, weaving together seamlessly different cultural traditions. The end result was unique, elegant and received glowing feedback from all of our guests.

In addition to all of this, Melissa and Morgan were extremely organized and on top of our wedding timeline. Of note, our wedding was not the easiest to plan, as we live in NYC and were planning during the pandemic. This did not prove to be a barrier as Melissa and Morgan held Zoom meetings with us and handled everything on the ground in Toronto until we had our final planning meetings in person. We felt completely confident in them, even as two type-A New Yorkers!

Lastly and perhaps most importantly, they are an absolutel joy to work with. Their warmth and positivity put us at ease, not just during the planning process, but also on the day of the wedding. They were super adaptable — any last minute challenges that arose were handled swiftly and competently by Melissa and Morgan. It is clear that they have strong relationships and are beloved by all their vendors, and there are clear examples of us benefitting from these strong relationships. At the same time, we never felt pressured into using a particular vendor, and Melissa and Morgan also worked seamlessly with several new vendors that we introduced. And while always positive, Melissa and Morgan were also transparent with us at all stages. When they had strong feelings about certain decisions based on their extensive experience, they did not hesitate to guide us.

All in all, we wholeheartedly recommend Lustre Events for anyone planning a wedding. They made our dream wedding come to life!

After a two-year engagement we had a great wedding planned for 120 guests, then COVID hit. My fiancée and I were committed to our original October wedding date, but understood we couldn't host the party we originally planned. We procrastinated planning and considered eloping until the end of August until our photographer recommended we reached out to Morgan and Melissa. From the first meeting until our wedding five weeks later, they were everything you could dream of in a planner. They listened to our hopes and dreams, then in the ever-changing COVID restrictions, they produced a vision and executed flawlessly. In a compressed planning period they avoided 'decision-exhaustion' by asking the right questions and doing all of the legwork to present great options. What is usually a stressful planning excised in the best of condition, they made a fun and easy under the most challenging conditions. Their combination of foresight, organization, and a great support team (caterers, staffing, rentals, etc). This served us especially well when the neighbours called in a COVID complaint and M+M were able to quickly demonstrate compliance with all COVID-restrictions to the police officer who attended the scene. What could have been a massive disruption to our special day was dealt with before any of the guests even realized it was a possibility. My wife and I are eternally grateful to M+M for every second of the best day of our lives.

We truly cannot say enough good things about Melissa & Morgan of Lustre Events. Firstly, if you're on the fence about hiring planners, it is 100% worth the investment. I cannot stress this enough. We had interviewed several planners and ended up landing on Lustre Events for full services. Melissa and Morgan were the most patient, understanding, excited, creative, and so much more. They brought our vision to life, while staying within our budget (their services included!). We had originally booked our wedding in 2018 for 2019, and it got pushed twice due to COVID. Melissa and Morgan helped us coordinate the new dates with all of our vendors, and still stayed as excited about our wedding as when we first spoke to them.

The number of questions you end up having and details that go into a wedding our endless. I don't know where we'd be or how our wedding could have been pulled off without Lustre Events. We had a great experience working with Melissa and Morgan for our wedding. We had contacted them right before everything closed down for COVID, and they helped us navigate through a very uncertain time for weddings. We were able to take our time booking our venue and vendors once things opened up. Melissa and Morgan provided a lot of guidance through the process and many suggestions on how we could achieve the wedding we had hoped for. We appreciate them always finding solutions for the items which were important for us. Their coordination efforts on the day of also gave my wife and I peace of mind to enjoy ourselves, knowing the important items were taken care of.

I just received my first box and it is so cute and useful! I definitely think this subscription is worth giving a try for a fun way to celebrate your engagement. Great experience for a vendor. This was my first time going to an expo as a wedding videographer. Everyone was very nice from the setup to the overall weekend itself. This is a very intimate setup where you have time to meet with and really get to know couples and vendors. The staff at MBWS were also very helpful with me in the planning process as well. I found the most gorgeous emerald cocktail dress at Papilio for my anniversary party. The staff helped tailor the look to my body and made sure everything fit just right. I had a great shopping experience last weekend looking for a wedding guest dress. Very friendly staff throughout and Hanan (spelling? I’m sorry!) was extremely helpful. I feel like I tried on half the dresses in the place. I was happy that they had quite a number of styles in the shop in my size (XL), and also offered the option to order in if what I was looking for wasn’t available. I would definitely return for an occasion dress in the future!

we had such an amazing experience at Park and Fifth in Calgary! After a long day of wedding dress shopping, this was our final stop for the day! We were pleasantly surprised with the cute area to try on dresses, and having a small private area to try them on. Our bridal stylist, Hannah was so great, she made us all feel comfortable and was easy to talk too. She made our experience so much better!

I went into Park and Fifth looking for a (very) last minute wedding guest dress.

I was nervous because a lot of boutique stores don’t carry larger sizes (I’m an XL-XXL), and worse yet, have made me feel very uncomfortable for being a larger size in the past.

My experience with P&F couldn’t have been more opposite. While there were less larger sizes on the floor, there were still plenty to try on, and more available for order. The staff were all so incredibly kind and SO helpful. They all offered assistance with zippers/ties/suggestions and opinions (when I asked for them). It felt like they were all truly invested in me finding the right dress, but were not pushy about it either.

We got married at Waterfront Park in Calgary on July 5th, and the entire experience was truly amazing. The venue itself is gorgeous — the peaceful views of the water added a special touch to our ceremony and photos, creating a perfect atmosphere for our big day.

We just had our wedding catered by Simply Elegant on August 16th. The company is amazing to work with. Right from the beginning, communication was quick and efficient. The chef was accommodating of our, slightly odd, request. We had a christmas themed wedding, and Simply Elegant recreated their Holiday menu for us for it! We did a tasting prior to signing, and it was as amazing as the food was on the day of the wedding! We had so many left overs too so the quantities were great! We had so many compliments from our friends and family about the food! Could not have asked for a better wedding day meal! Will highly recommend in the future!

We ordered catering from this company and everything was amazing! The food was fresh and very delicious, all our guests were satisfied. We use Simply Elegant catering for our breakfast board meetings and they never disappoint! The food is always tasty and they show up on time and come back to pick up the equipment afterwards. They are our GO TO catering company and we highly recommend them.

Our experience at the Brownstone was fantastic! They were so accommodating from start to finish, making us feel welcomed and excited in every step throughout the process. Bretton and the team made sure they were in constant communication with us throughout the planning and we really felt looked after.

10/10 would recommend the Wedding Coordinator service. Bretton took all of the details we wanted and made it a reality. She really took the weight off of figuring out vendors, pick-ups/drop-offs while still making sure the overall esthetic of the wedding was how we envisioned it. She stayed in touch days up to the wedding to really put us at ease.

We had a great experience with Brownstone after our wedding venue flooded and we had to look for an alternative. The team was super considerate and professional laying out all the details and setting very clear expectations.

A very top notch romantic restaurant. I recently went for a Sunday Dinner to celebrate an anniversary and this is easily in the top restaurants I've been to. The staff are exceptionally personable, helpful and so nice, the views are obviously amazing and it's a treat to have a location like this overseeing a lake yet be inner city. The food was absolutely amazing and the staff was knowledgeable to help recommend the best meat cooked level and provide great drink and menu choices. We started with Crab and Potatoe Croquettes that were actually amazing and had very little crab smell and the texture with plating a treat for sure! After the appetizer our main dishes were plated with care and tasted amazing. The bison was delicious with the vegetable side and the stuffed pastry was actually an 11/10 and blew us away. The Ribeye was classic and cooked to perfection with the Potatoes and Broccoli and it definitely was a steakhouse quality dish. The desert being the lime creme brule was good and I would rate it visually a 10 but for taste it sat around an 8. It was not bad at all but having a meal where every item hits a solid 10 really holds a high bar that is both exciting and yummy to see. I give this place a 10/10 and highly recomme d everyone visit to enjoy a romantic dinner.

The Lake House in Calgary is a stunning spot with incredible views and equally impressive food. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, perfect for a special night out or a cozy dinner. The menu showcases local ingredients with real care, and every dish feels thoughtfully prepared. A must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience by the water.

Wonderful outdoor patio experience, got there before it became too crowded and loved the view of Bonaventure lake beach, great sounds, music was perfect, atmosphere was amazing, and servers were very passionate 😁 would recommend to a friend, 9.8/10, indoor dining area was straight from the set of a culinary movie!!! Love the chandeliers

Had our wedding here couple years ago & also dine yearly for our anniversary. It’s always a hit with the food and service! The ambience is romantic and perfect for a wedding!

We dined here for the first time for their new years eve menu. The ambience was great and it was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The staff gave us a choice of where to sit which was a nice touch. We did get a couple of the wine pairings with the meal, and they were expertly paired! The meal itself was delicious and offered a nice variety of flavors with each course. Very well done. The service was fantastic and all the staff were very attentive. We will definitely be back in the summer to check out the view once the lake is thawed, and to enjoy another meal.
