Christie is so personable and just makes you feel so comfortable. I cannot imagine having a wedding without Christie. Her day of coordinator package still includes a lot that goes beyond the day of. Phone calls, emails, zoom calls - Christie was there to answer all my questions along the way. She joined the rehearsal dinner which was super super helpful and I’m so glad we get a chance to practice walking down the aisle, the order of things, and how to hold the bouquet etc. Planning a wedding is stressful enough and she took on a lot for me and a lot of behind the scenes work. She does extra things like making a schedule for the vendors and contacting vendors the week of to follow up. She gives you a schedule to follow months leading up the wedding so you stay on track. I’m not even sure how people manage without a coordinator to be honest. Also, included in her package is her assistant that helps her on the day of so it’s actually like having 2 coordinators! On my wedding day she went above and beyond. She even got there early to help my florist set up the flowers on the ceremony arch way, which took quite a bit of time. It was really hot on our wedding day and she frequently checked in with us during pictures. Bringing us water, spritzing us with cool water, and offering us electrolyte water (I managed to stay hydrated even with the alcohol that night lol). Christie is a really special person and I’m so glad I had her as my day of coordinator. Thank you so much Christie and Teresa!

Christie was AMAZING!! I am so happy I hired her. Not only is she professional, she is very sweet! Such great attitude and positive energy. I can tell she loves what she does. She is very attentive on what needs to be done. I hired her for set up and tear down for my wedding, (although if a wedding coordinator was in my budget I would have definitely hired her in a heartbeat.) She went above and beyond. Christie was incredibly organized and supportive throughout wedding planning. Though we had her as a day-of-coordinator, she was still very present in the months and weeks leading up to the wedding day to ensure that planning was going well and that we were on the same page. My wife and I hired Alan for full-day wedding photography as well as a pre-ceremony couples shoot. We hired Alan to photograph our backyard wedding. He was very courteous and professional about the entire process. He came to visit the location a few weeks before the event and worked with us to plan the schedule for the day. On the day itself, he was very attentive and made the whole process move smoothly along. The pictures were a blend of portraits and candid, with a bit more emphasis on the candid shots. Our wedding was a very small one, but he did a good job in making it look wonderful.

We had Alan as the photographer for our wedding at Chateau Vaudreuil and it was a wonderful experience. He made us feel comfortable and made the entire process super easy. The quality of his photos were fantastic and something we will cherish forever

Barbara was amazing she really captured who we are in our ceremony to make our wedding so special,took her time and was extremely prepared and patient and never once rushed is. We had our wedding at Bleeks and Bergamot in July 2025 at their beautiful new Riverside Venue and had the best experience! Bailey was an absolute star from the beginning, very helpful and considerate, always taking the time to answer my never-ending questions. The venue takes care of so many things that made planning a wedding so much easier - they even did our florals! Christine, our day-of-coordinator was also great and helped ensure everything went smoothly leading up to and on the big day. They truly do everything they can to ensure your special day is how you envision it. We would definitely recommend having your wedding here, you won't regret it!

We managed to snag the last date available at this venue for 2024 due to a cancellation from another couple and we are SO happy we did. Bailey and her team at B&B are absolutely phenomenal. Their communication leading up to our wedding and during our planning was impeccable. They always responded within 24 hours and answered all our questions. We felt confident that things would be well handled. Unfortunately, we had some on and off rain during our wedding day and Bailey and her team actually moved the chairs for our ceremony between the inside and outside area THREE times between rain showers before finally settling on having an outdoor ceremony when the rain stopped. They were readily available with umbrellas and everything we needed. They managed a lot of the coordination day of, and reduced a lot of our stress! The venue is absolutely beautiful, so if you’re considering this venue do yourself a favour and book it! You won’t regret it!

Bailey also did our wedding bouquets, boutonnières and arch pieces. The bouquets were EXACTLY what I wanted. The colour palette matched perfectly, and all the floral pieces were breathtaking.

What a beautiful location to host an event. At first glance, the corn field kind of hid it's location but once you got back to the facility, it was absolutely amazing. Hosts were super sweet and very easy to talk too. They provided games for our event. They also had a bar and very clean/well kept bathrooms. Highly recommend if your looking for a vendor

We had our wedding here middle of October and only have good things to say! Bailey and Rebecca were amazing and super helpful through out the whole process with recommendations and suggestions for all of my questions! Having the bridal suite and grooms area is a huge bonus for day of getting ready. So many of our guests commented on how stunning the venue was!
Will definitely be suggesting the venue to all our friends and family in the future. And hopefully will be back in 10 years for a vow renewal!

Our wedding at Bleeks and Bergamot was a dream come true!

Communication with Bailey and Rebecca leading up to our day was so simple, putting any of our worries at ease. We felt we were in excellent hands every step of the way. We especially loved that there were no hidden fees for every little thing, something we encountered at many other venues. Right away, Bailey provided us with a lot of information, making it easy to find our other vendors.

We had many opportunities to see the venue prior to our day, which helped to build excitement and envision our day.

The bridal suite is the perfect place for getting ready with your girls. Being adjacent to the creek made it the perfect spot for our first look photos as well as photos with our immediate family. We didn't have to worry about guests seeing us as they arrived since this property is down the road from the main venue.

The layout of the main property is fantastic. Our guests still rave about how fantastic our venue was and how everyone felt a part of the crowd no matter if they were on the dancefloor or enjoying a conversation. For the crowd that wanted quiet area to chat, the courtyard provided the perfect space. With the 5 large barn doors open, it still felt like everyone was in one space, which was especially important to us.

We can't thank Bailey and Rebecca enough for all that they did to make our dream day come true!

I did my highschool senior graduation photos with Bri and I cannot recommend her enough. She is so fun and so sweet and immediately makes you comfortable even if, like me, it’s your first time ever having professional photos done. Her instruction for posing Ann’s lighting suggestions were so helpful while also being really relaxed and not stressful at all. She really captures your authentic self, all while being the best hype woman ever and making you feel like your most gorgeous (or handsome) self! 😊

I don't even have the words to explain how amazing Bree is! My husband and I could not be more thrilled with our engagement and wedding photos.

Bree was incredibly professional from start to finish. We reached out to Bree with our wedding date and she was more than happy to accommodate our request. We planned our Engagement Session (we highly suggest you book this as well!) about a month in advance. We gave Bree complete creative freedom to pick a time and a place. Of course our perfect summer evening turned into a rainy and cold endeavour, but the pictures turned out moody and beautiful! I was nervous as I had never done a shoot with a photographer but she managed to make me laugh and smile the entire time and feel totally confident with getting my picture taken. She had a sneak peek of our album within a few days and the entire album to us a couple weeks later.

Our wedding was in downtown Calgary and our only request was that we capture the beauty of an urban area and capture a few sentimental spots for us. Bree came prepared and on time. She jumped right in and had our entire family and friends feeling just as comfortable as us. Bree took the time to find the perfect spots for our portraits ahead of a time and did an absolutely phenomenal job at making us both look ad feel like super stars! Just as with our engagement pictures, she sent us a sneak peak of our wedding within a few days and our entire album was to us not too long after.

Bree is one of the most genuine humans I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. She is fun, creative, and friendly. She will make you feel comfortable and give you some of the most stunning photographs. We are so grateful for Bree for providing us with memories of our wedding for years to come.

Bree was the photographer for our wedding on August 20th, 2022. I am so beyond delayed in writing a review, and that is not a reflection on Bree or her services, but myself.

Bree is worth every single penny. I would hire her again and again, knowing the value and quality of service she provides. Weddings are expensive, and we all try to save money where we can. Honestly, I wanted to as well, but Bree's portfolio captivated me. Then I saw her allyship and inclusivity and knew I had to meet with her. As a queer person who is in a heteronormative marriage, it was so important to me that the person I hire to capture our wedding stand for what I stand for, and respect and include the other queer or diverse folk present at my wedding.

My experience with Bree was nothing short of amazing. She and her second shooter Victoria, made everyone feel so comfortable. So down to earth, personable, and approachable. Even the guys enjoyed the photos - which is a feat!!! They were both major hype people - I really felt like a gorgeous human being.

And the quality of photos... unmatched. Seriously... UNREAL. I never knew we could look so good. Some of our pictures even look made up.. Bree truly has immeasurable talent. She is artistic and captures emotion in her work. I've had so many compliments on our wedding photography.

In short... just book Bree. You will not regret it. She answered all our questions, had patience with our silly dog (I promise - she's honestly an angel when she's in her own environment), was organized, professional, and delivered everything within a more than reasonable timeframe (EARLY EVEN!).

I can’t even begin to put into words how incredible this team of lovely people are. They made all of our wedding dreams come true with ease, grace and thoughtfulness. BEST DATE OF MY LIFE! I planned a surprise date for my special person while we were vacationing in the Banff area. WOW- did Amanda deliver! We arrived to the most beautiful picnic, perfectly set up with everything you could dream of! Cannot recommend Captivating Occasions enough! We hired Lexine and Amanda as our day of coordinators and they made everything before and during our wedding so fun and so much less stressful. They go through every detail you can think of about 3 months out and it really helps you gauge where you’re at with planning. Day of they took care of everything from logistics to making our reception venue decor dreams come true. Also be sure to check out River Rock Retreat which is their wedding venue (we had our ceremony here) and it was absolutely perfect!! Amanda and Lexine are single handedly responsible for the stress free wedding day that my husband and I were able to enjoy. We spent a year planning our day and Captivating Occasions was right there to provide guidance all along the way. The spreadsheet that these two put together to keep our wedding day on track was so appreciated by not only us but all our vendors. Amanda and Lexine ran our rehearsal, set up our decor, ran our wedding day and came back late in the evening to take everything down and pack up. As the Bride and Groom we truly didn't have to worry about a thing all day and not to mention our parents and bridal party were also able to fully enjoy the day. Amanda and Lexine created a group chat with us and were available for questions leading up to the wedding, and also sent us a bunch of behind the scenes pictures and videos from the day of which was an unexpected surprise. We would recommend these two for any event!

I spent a weekend at Ciel et Bois for a wellness getaway with friends, and it was such a sweet winter escape from the day-to-day city living. The convenience of having it be 20-30 minutes of travel time made it easy to drop in and get comfortable. The lodge is gorgeous, spacious and well equipped. The property has so much to offer. We took advantage of the sauna, kitchen, and games. The additional workshop room was perfect for me to host a yoga class, we loved the heated floors, fireside feels and windows that connected us to nature even while we were inside. We also went cross country skiing, only 7 minutes away from the lodge. It was a specular weekend, and felt right at home at Ciel et Bois. I highly recommend and will book again.

A large group of my friends and I stayed throughout the weekend at Ciel et Bois and had a wonderful experience. The drive there was short (only 20-30 minutes from most locations in Ottawa), and the space itself is so beautiful. We all felt very comfortable there and took advantage of all the rooms (especially the spacious kitchen which had everything you can think of)! A friend hosted a yoga session one morning in the studio space, and we spent a great deal of time in the sauna. This was a great pause from city life, and a beautiful staycation.

We were blown away at the place, the team left us a lovely welcome basket… Did not expect that 😀, and all of the details that make it feel like a home away from home are here. BBQ grill, chefs kitchen. The chill space is incredible, sunny and bright yoga room, the livings room, fire pit, hammocks, pick-nick benches. All just a great place to hang out and the basement is perfect for the kids to have their own space. Could not recommend this more, clean spacious, well decorated, comfy beds. Perfect if you have a couple families, or group of friends that want to get away together. You can all have your own space and still be together. Highly recommend 👍🏽👍🏽

Love Ciel et Bois! Beautiful property, incredibly well set up for any activity you have planned. Sauna was definitely a highlight! Also super great owners, they were always happy to answer our questions leading up to and during our stay.

From the very beginning Alex provided mood boards that were exactly aligned with what our hopes and dreams for our wedding day would look like, we worked off of those and a 3D rendering to carefully and intentionally choose all of the details and decor. Alex sourced the best florists and vendors to take on the vision of our wedding and make it come to life. She gave options and never pushed us towards the most expensive option and guided us through what would be the most impactful on our budget. It was so helpful to have her give us timelines of when the dress should be ordered, when to send out invites, what sites to use for RSVPs, she kept our timeline on track and stress free! She is kind, funny, organized, thoughtful and calm.

Seeing her work her magic and be the director of the whole production of the day was truly inspiring. She is an expert and works endlessly for a seamless hassle free day for the bride and groom. I felt nothing but ease and trust in her as I knew she was amazing as what she does. Our wedding day could not have been any better!! If any hiccup came up, she immediately and calmly found a solution. Having her plan the wedding was one thing, but then seeing her coordinate our wedding day was a whole other thing that she so effortlessly did with a smile on her face! She is truly the fairy godmother every bride needs on her wedding day!!

I loved being as hands on as possible with Alex to figure out details and design ideas because I enjoy it, but I know she would be the best person to work with even if you didn't come with any ideas and wanted someone to just take it away and do their thing to make a beautiful and memorable wedding! She looks outside the box, knows what's trending, knows what's boring, knows what should be skipped and what's important, and is always up for doing something unexpected and untraditional!

Like many couples engaged in 2020, my husband and I ended up having two weddings: the “real” big one that got delayed, and the microwedding that got suddenly planned in a panic. So it’s hard to know where to begin with how wonderful, helpful, indispensable, and reliable Kim and the Envision team were over years of planning (and replanning) two weddings during a time when nothing was remotely certain. Kim somehow knew what I wanted better than I did, always ready to tell me exactly what I needed to hear (even when it was “no!”). She also did our flowers and design, and essentially read our minds through the entire process. She was also fantastic at working within our budget, especially keeping the encore wedding in mind. Kim, in her expertise, suggested some fantastic vendors, and came up with ideas I had written off (like a vineyard wedding? I never would have imagined. But Kim did). The wedding days themselves were logistical wonders. Meghan took over in the weeks leading toward each event, and she might be the most competent person I’ve met in my life, while still being so warm and cheerful. Many wedding planners in southern Ontario have years of expertise, they have connections, they have the portfolio. But Kim is truly a rare gem of a person. She’s so real, so genuine, so down to earth. You will get your dream wedding with Kim not only because she is a connected, creative, hard working professional, but also because of who she is as a person and how much true passion and dedication she puts into her work. still gave me the best price quote. I’m so glad we went with them because they were absolutely beautiful! It was the chuppah of my dreams! The team did a great job transforming the room for the ceremony and the reception. Our sweetheart table and centerpieces looked amazing. They also added flowers to my bouquet the day of to make it match my vision exactly! They are very knowledgeable and practical about what kind of flowers to use, and how many you need to get the look you want! I would recommended them to design your day!

To anyone thinking of working with the Envision Wedding Team - DO IT! We could not have imagined our special day and surrounding weekend coming together the way it did without them.

We are a couple from California, so we went with the full wedding planning package knowing that we needed to work with someone local - for timezone and geographical reasons, as well as knowing the current market and having network contacts in the industry, among other important factors. We got more than we could have asked for, as we are a Filipino-American couple with plans to incorporate cultural wedding traditions, and us luck would have it, Kim grew up with Filipinos and was already very familiar with what we wanted to do. Also definitely worth mentioning that as we were going through the interviewing process, a non-negotiable for us was someone who has had prior experience working with Casa Loma, which was to be our wedding venue. Not only had Kim done weddings at Casa Loma before, but she is so highly regarded by them that she was invited to decorate one of the rooms there during Christmas. Needless to say, there was no one else for the job for us after completing all the other interviews. So if you're getting married at Casa Loma, you DEFINITELY need to work with Envision!

Our celebrations took place over the course of a full weekend which also included a welcome party, rehearsal dinner, and farewell brunch event. Kim and her team were instrumental in every part of the weekend. They don't just take care of you for one special day in your life, they are with you through the whole thing.

When you work with Envision Weddings, you get the whole package - they work with you on all design aspects – we had a lightly Tangled-themed wedding and they brought our vision into reality. They have their own floral studio and can do the day-of stationery as well. Their industry connections were amazing, and we were glad to have been put in contact with their partners and vendor recommendations. Kim was also an invaluable teammate, going to bat for us when working with outside vendors when the time came.

During the planning process – Kim was able to accommodate our late night zoom meetings due to the timezone difference. She also reassured us wherever we were during our planning process – TRUST that they know what they’re doing. They were our biggest advocates and supporters, as well as our therapists when we needed it (lol). Also special mention to Megan who went above and beyond so many times throughout the process and the day-of team including Chantal who helped to keep us sane, on track, and on point on our big day, even in spite of how chaotic things seemed at times. It’s also worth mentioning that our venue coordinator at Casa Loma changed on us unexpectedly TWICE during the process, but the Envision Team kept us solid and grounded until the end.

She is exceptionally team-oriented ensuring that I, André and all the vendors felt like we were all on the same page. She was crucial to making our planning process and wedding so enjoyable.

Some of my favourite moments:
- When our first officiant had to cancel (many months before the wedding thankfully), Fiona helped us book a new amazing officiant within 24 hours.
- When we had the final meeting with our venue, Fiona did all the heavy lifting so Andre and I spent most of that meeting in our own world admiring the venue. We only chimed in when they needed our opinion.
- My mother coming into my bridal suite saying, "What is this?! I am the mother of the bride, I am supposed to be stressed but I have nothing to do!"
- During the wedding, I was completely in the moment without a worry. Everything was magically in the right place during the event. Even when I got home, I went through all my stuff worried that something had been forgotten at the venue but it was all in place...I don't even know when they did that but I know that was Fiona and Danielle's doing!

I am absolutely happy with my decision to hire Fiona as a coordinator with partial planning support for my wedding in 2023. If you are planning a wedding and wondering if these services are worthwhile, they absolutely are and will make the entire process and day-of much, much less stressful.

This review will be long, but I wanted to provide as much detail as possible to help you make an informed decision and know what to expect.

Fiona was very professional, kind, and patient throughout the entire process. We met regularly both in-person and virtually on a monthly or bi-monthly basis, where Fiona would check up on our progress and identify what we needed to do next. As we did not have family in the area who could help us, we found her recommendations and checklists vital to our success.

She helped us by pulling together a vision board complete with the colours we'd chosen to help with decorative aspects and finding the perfect venue. She was happy to provide a list of vendor recommendations, but definitely was not pushy and will work with anyone you have chosen.

She set up templates to document and track our budget, decorations, guest list and more. All of this is done in Google Drive and easily accessed and shared with whoever needs to be involved.

Once we'd chosen and contacted vendors, Fiona attended many of our meetings with them. This is very helpful because she asked so many questions that I had never even thought of to ensure all bases are covered. She reviewed our contracts before we signed and highlight anything which seemed non-standard, missing, or that we should clarify. This was very reassuring given the amount of money at stake.

Fiona developed the schedule for the day and worked with the coordinator at the venue and with all of our vendors. The day of, Fiona and her staff were basically *the* fairy crew. Fiona's team received all of our deliveries, in some cases picked things up for us, ensured that the venue was set up, kept the day on running schedule, stepped in to help wherever it is needed, and also helps the wedding parties as they get ready and during photos.

As a result, our day was fun, stress free, and absolutely worth it.

Fiona was a superstar helping us plan our wedding! From our first conversation she made me and my husband feel so comfortable and it was so clear to us that not only is she an amazing support, she definitely takes charge! Our communication lasted for over a year and she kept us on track for acquiring vendors, and coming up with our vision for the day. By the time our wedding rolled around, I was very comfortable knowing that Fiona had our backs and was going to make it the best day possible so that we could relax and just enjoy ourselves. The definite highlight of working with Fiona was the wedding day and knowing that she had everything under control.

Held a small (under 50 person) wedding here over the Thanksgiving weekend, we sure lucked out with weather! This little gem was perfect for our family and friends to gather. An old house, but with cute accents and details. It was perfect. We did leave a note with those minor technical issues! They had folding chairs and tables, I was able to tuck away the house decor in the cupboards and put up our table clothes, decor and floral arrangements!
Beds are a bit hard but wasn’t a huge make or break for me.
The huge deck out back really helped make it feel fun, and gave space for everyone to hang out and not be elbow to elbow inside. For the back yard we got more leaves to cover some of the patchy grass from autumn, but a decently sized yard. Highly recommend for a cozy feeling! I will cherish the memories made here.
