Great Stay&Play course!!

Stayed at the Brookstreet Hotel and played the Marshes Course.

Very nice pro shop and clubhouse, got all your golf needs before your round. Great practice facility with a large putting/chipping area.

Course was in excellent condition for a wet weekend. Tee boxes are well groomed, fairways are in great condition (if you can find the fairways)

Very challenging course (played from the Blue Tees).. lots of challenging Par 5s (almost unreachable in 2 on some) the par 4s are fairly long with tight approach shots and the par 3s are no cake walk!

Will for sure be coming back to play this course in the near future

Our group had a great time playing mini-putt (in Sept). The course was not too hard or too easy with water features, a creek, and a walkover bridge! Just enough challenge to be fun. The pickleball courts look amazing!
We then had lunch at the beautiful Ironside Grill. Service was cheerful and attentive. My burger was perfectly seasoned and tasty. There is an outdoor patio with a great view! We will definitely play and visit again soon!

Nice course but staff needs to be more customer service oriented. We had 3:00 tee time and one of the staff would not let us finish our round even though we were 10 minutes ahead of time. For $125 a round you would expect better service.

Went there yesterday...Let me preface this with, it costs 140$ to play a round here with a cart(fine with that). it was a rainy day, "cart path only" which is fair due to the conditions(does make the round take longer as you cant drive to each ball). We were playing our round when we got asked to speed up "No problem"....So we started playing a scramble best ball in 2 pairs of 2's. We got around to the back 9 when one of the marshals came up to us for the second time asking if we could skip a hole(had nobody behind us for the last hour+)....We asked why and he stated that there were groups waiting on us. Again, hadn't seen anyone waiting on us to tee off for the last few holes. We told him we hadn't seen anyone waiting, to which he replied "that's not what our satellite says" into which he kept trying to pressure us to skip a hole(having paid 140$, changed the way we played & cart path only, and not having anyone waiting on us). Eventually he decided to "go check for himself" and never came back... 3 holes later, we could see the hole he asked us to skip on, AND THERE WAS STILL NOBODY TEEING OFF!!!!! If you want to constantly be pressured for no reason at all and pay premium for it, this is the place. If you want to enjoy the game of golf, PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE. I would have completely understood if groups were waiting on us, or on our tail. However it being cart path only and things taking longer as it is plus wet conditions with nobody behind us for at the very least 3 holes, there is ZERO reason to pressure a group to speed up or SKIP A HOLE, after paying premium.

I was planning to buy a membership here because the course itself is beautiful, but my experience with the Marshall completely changed my mind. Throughout the round, he kept rushing us and riding up on us, insisting we were holding up play. The issue is we weren’t slow at all.. we were waiting on the group in front of us multiple times. It was frustrating and really took away from the enjoyment of the game.

If the course wants to attract and keep members, the staff need to pay closer attention to what’s actually happening on the course instead of unfairly pressuring groups that are playing at the proper pace.

We have rented this place for various functions. Great space, a beautiful stage, various other facilities, and friendly staff. We will keep coming back. Although the capacity is 250+ people, very limited parking is a significant issue.

My band played a show in the main hall here, and it was a great experience. The staff were super helpful, and the hall was big and suited our exact needs. Washrooms were clean, and everything was great. One thing to note is that every entrance had stairs, but the noth side entrance had a wooden ramp to wheel equipment in. Cool place, recommended!

Great hall. Great near west end location. Good parking and right on major bus routes. Nice two-level layout with a stage also. Comfortably sits 300+ guests for weddings or whatever kind of event. Self-help kitchen lets you pick and choose your own caterer. Church admin staff proficient and friendly. I’d rent it again!

This is a great place for a large gathering. Hubby and I attended the Peru National Day party here recently and it was a lot of fun. Great dance floor. Strategic kitchen and bar.

We had our wedding at The Gathering Ranch and it was truly everything we hoped for and more. The property itself is stunning and gave us the perfect setting to celebrate with our family and friends.
Kari and Aaron are absolutely amazing. From the very beginning, they made us feel so comfortable and supported throughout the planning process. They were incredibly flexible, accommodating, and went out of their way to make sure our day was exactly how we envisioned it.
Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful the venue is. We are beyond grateful for the care and effort that went into making our wedding day so special.

We had such an amazing experience at The Gathering Ranch for our May Wedding!! Aaron and Kari Young went above and beyond our expectations! They put in so much effort into making our day special and memorable. Having Aaron and Kari onsite during our event was absolutely fabulous, if we needed something they were right there to help. The venue is absolutely beautiful and very inviting to all families. The bridal suite was a cozy and intimate space for me and my bridal party to get ready. The entire atmosphere was filled with excitement and anticipation. Thank you to The Gathering Ranch for providing such a wonderful space for us to share our special day with family and friends

I recently attended a wedding at The Gathering Ranch and it was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and accommodating. The outdoor fireplace was a great touch - it made for some amazing pictures!

The highlight of the venue was definitely the pond with its own private island and bridge access. It was perfect for taking pictures and gave us a truly unique backdrop for our friends special day. We also loved that that they were a full service venue, and made sure we had everything we needed, including accommodations at the ranch house for the bridal party!

Overall, I would highly recommend The Gathering Ranch as a wedding venue. They made sure the day was perfect!

Absolutely wonderful stay. The hosts Aaron and Kari were very welcoming and only wish we could stay longer.

Kari and Aaron have so many stories and it was great to hear from them.

For anyone suffering with jet lag or an early riser, this is the place to be! The sun rises throughout the house and outside was SO peaceful.

The property has a hot tub and sauna but we didn't get chance to utilise this as we went to the Strathmore Stampede (which is literally 5 minutes away).

The beds are very comfortable and the house is fully kitted out for people visiting. Breakfast and the coffe bar were also sublime - absolutely loved our breakfast burritos 🌯

There are two beautiful German Shepards and an outdoor cat which are very friendly.

Would highly recommend The Gathering to everyone and anyone open to an excellent hosted BnB experience 😀

We were there for a bachelorette party this weekend. We were supposed to have the whole place to ourselves but the owners were there and just hanging out in the house with guests when we got there.
When the owners finally left, they locked their two big German shepherds in their locked room that we couldn’t access and left them in there for hours until we called them to ask them to deal with the dogs. Those poor dogs barked the whole time they were in there. And finally when they came, they just stayed at the property for the rest of the evening.
The owner kept coming into the kitchen to attempt to join our conversation? And just made things awkward since they were supposed to be out of the house by then.

It was a strange experience, I do NOT recommend staying here.

Both front desk agents that I dealt with were great, but I was thoroughly disappointed that there was toenails, clumps of hair, and some white powder substance all over the pool area and when I brought it up to the front desk, he said that they would be closing the pool and they were really sorry. But when I came back an hour later, the pool was still open and still dirty. Guaranteed they did do a thorough job cleaning in the morning, however we were not able to utilize it as we had to head out early so it was kind of disappointing that we paid for a hotel with a pool to not get a pool. I also noticed on my bed skirt in our room, there was clearly dried boogers, and that made it overall just not worth what we paid. I discussed this with the front desk and they said they’d talk to the manager and I was given a $20 credit, which in my opinion is not enough for the fact that we didn’t get to use the facilities we paid for because of the cleanliness, and my room had someone else’s visible DNA on it

There was no hot water to clean up once we checked in our room. The small fridge made an alarming amount of noise. The bed was very comfortable! We had a good sleep.

Everything about our stay was great but I want to give a special shout out to the front desk staff who patiently helped with login and profile issues as part of securing a room booking. Good people!!

A good hotel. Clean, tidy, nice pool and good service

Stayed for a hockey tournament that was being held in Standard, a 30 minute drive away. The hotel was comfortable and they did well to manage kids playing in hallways, parents having drinks, etc. The pool was a good diversion for the kids. The nearby Roadhouse restaurant was a good find.

Having a destination wedding was made easy with your help. You did all the worrying. All we had to do was so up and get married. Thank you!

My mom, fiancé and I went both days for the show and we had a blast. It was a great opportunity to meet skilled vendors and win prizes for your special day. I had the opportunity to speak with Shelagh and she clearly loves what she does! Will be returning for the fall show!

This show is advertised to start at 11 am but the fashion show starts at 10:30 am and ends before the wedding show opens. So if you happen to be early you can catch part of the show - really bizarre decision making on the part of the organizers. The fashion show itself is in a hallway with a short runway and a single row of chairs on each side. The venue is small and the number and type of of exhibitors is limited. Way too many "photo booth" exhibitors. This show is disappointing and overpriced. Even though a feature of the admission price is that you can go for both days, who would want to? Better to save your money and go the wedding show at the EY Centre.

One of the best hotels I've been to I had such a good time by the pool the hotel is so clean my room smelled so good I can't wait to go back and customer service is excellent

I attended the PETIT Salon Marions-Nous on February 4, 2034 at the Palais des Congrès and frankly, I am really disappointed with the experience! Barely a few interesting kiosks. It wasn't worth the trip or the $25 access fee. We did the tour in 30 minutes! Anything...

Beautiful living room even if it is not very big. The only big downside is the parade. The dresses were wrinkled, the veils crumpled and there was even a male model who went on stage with an open tray. So a big lack of professionalism at this level.

Casino games are dated and the attendant at the entrance of the Hard Rock Cafe needs to understand that a non traditional seating waiting line isn't ideal and may create confusion. Arrogance on his part will not help the situation. Fortunately the server one seated was extremely friendly and efficient and the food was good but a little pricey for what it was. 0/10 for the reservation/line up to the place but a solid 7 on food and 10 for the server.

Fun experience all around. Went to see a concert at Hard Rock Live - sound was good and seating was comfortable. Casino was a fun time - preferred the set-up and energy of this casino more than Lac Leamy. More seating in the dining area would be nice for a better “quick” dining experience if you’re planning to eat there before a show.

We've been twice now, once the first week it opened and second just this past Sunday to celebrate my birthday. I had a few long island ice teas from the main bar. We ate at the Hard Rock Cafe, the power had gone out that day and the gas took a while to come back on. The manager was so nice in explaining everything, when we finally got a table our server Kate was wonderful! Our table had the cowboy steak and ribs all around and they were great! Our group then went on to play the slots and tables and had a great time! Such an upgrade! Can't wait to come back!

My husband and I had a wonderfully relaxing weekend. The rooms are tastefully decorated and very spacious. The only suggestion I have is to provide more bottled water in the room.

The service at the restaurants and the quality of the food were absolutely top-notch — A1! I sincerely hope this high standard is maintained.

A heartfelt thank you to Kayla at Council Oak, George and Victoria at the Hard Rock Cafe, and all the talented chefs. Your hospitality made our stay even more memorable.

It's a bit out of the way, but worth the drive. The nicest casino I've been to in all of Canada (and I've been to plenty). So many slots with tons of variety! Didn't try the dining options this time around, but it also looks promising.

My husband and I got married in Cabo and I can’t say enough amazing things about our wedding planner Tiffany. From the moment we started working together, she made the entire wedding planning process so stress-free and enjoyable (including our weekly chats that i really looked forward to). Tiffany went above and beyond in every way, making sure every detail was perfect—not just for the wedding, but also for our welcome yacht party, which was such an incredible experience for our guests. Our wedding day was absolutely beautiful, and I am so grateful. Thank you for everything.

My husband and I recently had a destination wedding at Planet Hollywood Costa Rica and was so pleased with all the pre wedding coordination! From the start, I had found a better rate for the resort on their website than was offered since we booked so far in advance. They agreed to price match the rates I found but then ended up giving us an even better rate, which made it much more affordable for our guests. Kawal was the best travel agent and always replied in a few hours to all my countless questions. Kawal was on top of it, sending me weekly guest list updates and let me know about the group concessions to expect before we even left for the trip. All the group concessions were as promised and they made us feel so taken care of at a private group check in at the resort. I got multiple compliments from my guests who interacted with Kawal about how attentive and helpful the service was. I had multiple hiccups with my airport transfers between deciding which guests would be on my private transfer and flight changes but Kawal took care of it by emailing guests directly and took the stress off of me! Kawal made the experience of coordinating a large group vacation easy!!

Diane was our off site wedding coordinator and she was amazing! I was so sad that she could not be there on the day of the wedding to see it all through. She was so easy to work with and paid attention to details. She was so kind in replying to all my emails as I stressed about forgetting any details. The resort was beautiful, the wedding everything I dreamed it to be and everyone has an amazing time!

Michael DiDomenico was our travel specialist, and he was amazing throughout. He responded to emails so quickly, whether it was an inquiry, concern, or any adjustment that needed to be made with our reservation. We attended our goddaughter's wedding at Royalton Splash Riviera in Cancun. There was no issue with the check-in. The view, food, and staff were all amazing.

Christy was recommended by a family member as I was a little overwhelmed with booking my first trip solo parenting and making a choice with all the options. She was able to help me find a great resort in my price range for myself and my daughter to travel to the Caribbean that was exactly what I was looking for. She called me and answered all my questions about the travel process, preparation, and resort so that I felt confident and safe going. We had a wonderful trip and will be using her again this winter. I highly recommend her!

Luxe is truly amazing at what they do. They made my destination wedding planning exciting and stress-free!! I actually was not stressed out once!! They are so kind, helpful and respond quickly to emails! They go above and beyond for their brides! My wedding was so magical and felt like it was from a movie! Everything was perfect! I know all brides will be in good hands with Luxe!!

Our experience with Mariage Sud and the agent Paola was probably the most stressful and unprofessional experience ever. Everything started when our agent inputted our genders and name completely wrong , despite us filling the form correctly from the beginning. I sent emails which were left unanswered unless we called the phone number , Paola was aware of the emails but did not provide notice of receipt or acknowledgment of the emails.
2nd issue : We retyped the names exactly as our passport. She apologized and claimed she was getting confused and that she received too many phone calls, because apparently she struggled to input many of our groups name correctly . And then when she had the tickets reprinted it was WRONG AGAIN!!! She could not copy paste the names despite it being clearly written on the email, and despite having us confirming letter for letter our names on the phone.
3rd issue: We had fully paid our vacation months prior , and were told that we would get our flight confirmation and hotel vouchers 1-2weeks before our vacation. We only got them 3 days before our flight, and left us only 1 day to make correction. No explanation was ever given as to why we received them so late, to the point our marriage group were panicking and thought we got scammed.
Our agent most definitely needs some retraining, especially with larger groups, as to avoid future marriage groups from undergoing the same stress and hardships we encountered .
A simple double verification of the names, gender and better email communication would solve everything.

DO NOT TRUST THEM UNLESS YOU WANT TO RUIN YOUR WEDDING!!!! Most unprofessional experience I ever lived, we had to finish the organization by ourself. Christelle our organizer was beyond unprofessional, did not answer emails or calls from us or the guests fir weeks on time, and sometimes never got back. We had at some points to drive to go in person see if someone could help us because we were so helpless. Even the little she did she did wrong, when we arrived rooms were booked under the wrong names and one person almost could not check in. Don’t waste your money or time with them. You will have the most stressful wedding planning experience

By far worst experience ever. Still TBD if we're getting our tickets for our destination wedding in Mexico which is in 5 days. After getting charged the full amount 3 months ago had we only received our invoice at the beginning of this month (only because we had to repeatedly call and request and track down our agent who happens to always be ooo or on vacation). I strongly would not recommend this travel agency nor, Paola, our agent. There's so much left that I can't wrap my head around how unprofessional and incompetent this agent was and the stress it's bringing to our group.

I will update my review in the upcoming days if things have improved.

I recently returned from my wedding in Mexico. My wedding day was absolutely perfect, but unfortunately, it wasn't thanks to the company Mariage Sud/Mariage dans le sud.

When I began planning my destination wedding, I wanted to hire professionals. Those around me would tell you that I'm extremely organized, but since I was in unfamiliar territory and didn't want to stress about planning my wedding, I thought, "Who better than someone with experience?" Unfortunately, this company caused me more stress than if I had taken care of my wedding myself.

I first contacted the company on June 10, 2024, via email, and our first call was on June 22. The explanations during the call were clear and gave me confidence in the company. Several deadlines and how it works were explained to us at that time. We chose the Passion Planning package.

Fast forward to February 24, 2025 (two and a half months before my wedding), after weeks of frustration and difficulty sleeping, I sent an email to my travel agent, Sabrina Tremblay, and the company, highlighting all the missed deadlines (and not by a few days: several weeks!), the unreasonable delays in responding to me and the guests, the fact that nothing had been planned yet, even though she had said it would be planned 4-5 months before the wedding, and my great disappointment with the quality of service I received. I also mentioned my decision to take charge of the wedding portion while requesting that the travel portion be rigorously managed going forward (by them).

From the moment I started speaking with the hotel (at the end of February), not only did I get responses from their coordinators in less than 48 hours (even less than 24 hours most of the time), I also learned that several questions I had asked Sabrina had never been answered. The hotel coordinators had even emailed Sabrina on January 28th with choices to make that she had never shared with us.

I exchanged nearly a hundred emails with the hotel's wedding planners to coordinate everything, and the wedding day was the best day of our lives so far. It's just a shame how much unnecessary stress Mariage Sud caused me during the planning process.

I did, however, see an improvement in communication after my email to Mariage Sud at the end of February. That's why I'm giving it two ⭐️s instead of one. We met Sabrina Tremblay as agreed in the contract, and she was friendly, but that doesn't change the fact that the service provided by this company is far from adequate.

In short, I do not recommend this company for wedding planning.

We had very poor service. We had news about billing. Then we had several questions concerning several cases of gastro at our Hotel, no answers from our agent!!!! The response came following our call to the company director. She was always gone, several defeats!!! We are very, very disappointed, there were 30 of us. The bride and groom experienced frightening stress until meeting the lady at our Hotel!!! My daughter canceled her trip with her partner and her 1 year old granddaughter. They were to be reimbursed for half of the trip. She notified around February 27, 2025 and we have just been refunded!!!!! Quite a service!!!!!! We had to call several times and send emails. In any case we travel very often and I have never seen such rotten service!!! We do not recommend this agency. Don't choose Sabrina Tremblay, it was lousy service!!

Parked my bikes near Blackbird Vintages. I parked too close to a door so I messed up. I’m sorry. But the gentleman who needed to get through the door went totally insane and destroyed my bike. He slammed the door into my gear box. Ripped and broke several pieces. $1,000 worth of repairs.

I ordered a meal to go, but when I got home and opened it, I discovered the meat was missing. On top of that, I noticed the receipt included a 2.4% credit card surcharge just for the 'privilege' of using a card.

Melissa and her team at Archeo went above and beyond to ensure my wedding was spectacular. The communication was phenomenal leading up to the event and I was blown away by the support I received onsite. I truly felt like the guest of honour by the way the staff treated my husband and I. When there was a decor issue from another vendor, the Archeo team stepped in immediately with a great solution. We only received amazing reviews about the food. Wishing I could relive this day over and over again.

We were planning to have our wedding here and we're booking as early as 13 months in advance but they kept passing us around. Riane took several days to reply. It took them a week to reply after we demanded speedy response and when they did reply, they asked for another week. When they confirmed that the date we wanted was available, they again said that they cannot accommodate us or finalize the reservation.

We were very much willing to pay already but they're taking forever. It's like they don't want our business so we're booking somewhere else. Nice spaces but really difficult people to work with, not ideal for when you're putting a wedding together.

My experience with Distillery Events was HORRIBLE. My fiancé and I reached out to their team to inquire about one of their venues 14 months in advance of our desired wedding date.

The first few responses we received from their Sales Assistant, Riane, took around 3 business days. After receiving all the pertinent information we were told that if we would like to place a hold on our desired date, a site tour would need to be conducted. I confirmed twice that we were very interested in booking a tour at their earliest convivence and that is when they "ghosted" us.

After not hearing back from Riane for 3 business days, I sent a follow up email and I also called the venue directly. I was told I needed to go through sales and got transferred to Riane's personal line. I left a voicemail explaining that were were touring several venues in the upcoming weeks and would like to know the timeline of when a site tour could be arranged.

That was on June 23, 2022. Today, July 21, 2022, I received an email from Riane informing me that our requested date was no longer available. IT TOOK A MONTH FOR HER TO REPLY. Acknowledging my follow up email and voicemail or simply letting us know a timeline to arrange a site tour would have been appreciated.

Fortunately, we have found an amazing venue for our wedding that matches the level of communication and professionalism any couple would want for such an important event.

We were also considering another venue in the distillery for our Jack and Jill but after this experience we will not be moving forward with that plan or recommending Distillery Events to any friends or family. Would give 0 stars if possible.
