Had an incredible experience with Nicolas. He really made me feel comfortable and relaxed, making for the best headshots. People can't stop complimenting them. I appreciate his willingness and ability to help my vision come to life.

I hired Nicolas for my McGill Law graduation and couldn't be happier to have had someone so kind, professional, and talented capture this important day. The ceremony went on longer than expected, and Nicolas patiently waited and even offered to stay longer as needed. He was so friendly and gave us great directions and pose suggestions while also letting us do our own thing, which made it fun. The pictures are stunning, and his presence just made the day even more special. I highly recommend him and can't wait to book him for my next event.

I cannot recommend Nicolas enough! We hired him for two events as part of Black History Month at McGill University and we were blown away. His professionalism, the quality of his work, and his flexibility surpassed our expectations. I also want to highlight an important technical skill which is capturing the beauty of darker skin which not all photographers are able to do. We are so happy with the photos and would highly recommend hiring Nicolas for any event or occasion where high quality service and high quality photos are needed. 5 stars all around!

I highly recommend working with Nicolas. He’s a great photographer and has an good eye for details. He can provide direction if you’re unsure how to pose and he always makes sure you look and feel your best. I love my new headshot and will definitely shoot with him again!

We chose the DELUXE wedding package along with an engagement photo shoot. From the very beginning, Nicolas has been professional, yet extremely approachable and friendly. The engagement photoshoot gave us an opportunity to get to know Nicolas and his creative approach to photography. Nicolas has a special eye for details and worked with honesty and integrity. For our wedding day, we were grateful to have Cloves, a second photographer, who only added to our wonderful experience. They both worked really hard to perfectly capture the day and they even agreed to stay an extra hour to make sure that all our photography needs were met! We highly recommend Nicolas and his team!!

EDIT: Micha (Nordello), I sincerely and forcefully disagree with every point raised above. My experience was not what is being portrayed, and I cannot stand by silently while such a version of events is presented.

Photography

While it is true that photos were provided, the claim that I was fully satisfied is simply not accurate. My feedback was not a blanket approval, nor did I decline editing because the images were “beautiful as-is.” I expected the editing stage to enhance the photos as initially discussed, and the suggestion that I waived this entirely misrepresents my expectations and experience.

Videography

The videos I received fell far short of what any reasonable couple would expect for a wedding. The “short-form” video may have been confirmed in the moment, but that was under pressure and not a genuine reflection of satisfaction. You kept us in your apartment for 12 hours. The long-form video, presented as a simple chronological compilation, was disappointing and lacked the artistry or emotional impact couples seek in wedding videography. While the contract may have used clinical terms, the delivery did not align with the spirit of what was promised or what we believed we were paying for.

Contractual Fulfillment

Hiding behind contractual language while ignoring the spirit of service is deeply troubling. A wedding is not just a transaction—it is an irreplaceable life event. I do not believe my concerns were heard or addressed in good faith, and I do not agree that obligations were fulfilled in any meaningful sense.

My Review

I stand firmly by my review. It is not misleading; it reflects my honest experience as a paying client. Reviews exist precisely so future couples can see beyond polished contracts and understand how real clients felt about the work they received.

A Warning to Future Couples

To any couple considering this vendor: please look very closely at the contract and ask yourself if the bare minimum described on paper matches what you truly want for your wedding memories. If you expect creativity, care, and flexibility, I urge caution. My experience has left me disappointed and regretful, and I would not wish that on others planning such an important day.

This is not written lightly, but with the hope that others can make fully informed decisions.

We booked Micha to do our engagement photo shoot. This was our first photo shoot so we were a bit nervous going into it. But he made us feel super comfortable and we were shocked to see how good the photos turned out to be on the spot. He didn’t make us feel rushed and if anything we went over time which was great. He had all our photos ready very fast and edited the ones we liked the next day. The pricing and photos are fantastic. Look forward to book him again in the future for the next photoshoot

I had an amazing experience getting my headshots done for the very first time. I was super nervous as I do not like getting pictures taken but Misha made the experience fun and easy. I loved how easy the online booking was and the affordable packages. He’s now gonna be my go to guy for any pictures!

We hosted our wedding at Oak & Pines and honestly it was the easiest decision of the wedding planning. This family owned business, close to Orleans, is absolutely stunning. The barn (main reception area) is rustic yet modern. The large grounds allow for many beautiful background for photos.

During our first visit in 2023, we were told there would be lots of renovation in the coming year. They did not disappoint. The addition of the sunshade ceremony space is absolutely amazing. Allowing guest to still be outside while still being covered by the elements. Although we had initially booked this venue due to the forest ceremony space, once we saw the sunshade it was an easy switch (also allowed us to have a DJ during the ceremony). The renovations of the inside were also beautiful.

They answered my endless emails quickly and thoroughly. They even went above and beyond and contacted one of my vendor directly so that everything would be set up correctly. Overall, we highly recommend this hidden gem.

Oak and Pines was the perfect venue for our wedding! The setting was absolutely breathtaking — every corner felt magical and created the most beautiful backdrop for our day. The team was amazing to work with from start to finish: organized, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything ran smoothly. 10 years ago (already!) Dany did our engagement photoshoot and his team did our wedding photos and videos. Everything turned out beautiful! A couple days ago, we asked Dany to do a family photoshoot at the same location. The pictures turned out amazing! Dany is very talented and attentive. Highly recommend him and his team for any event! :)

Working with Dany and Tony for our wedding was a pleasure. Dany was always very responsive and able to answer all our questions. Tony (our photographer) was so funny and made us feel at ease. If you are on the fence about getting a video, get the video! Marcello (the videographer) was amazing and having the footage of us and our family and friends enjoying our wedding day is something we can enjoy for many years to come. Overall they were very professional and we are so happy with the result. I highly recommend!

Working with Pacifica Productions has been one of the highlights of planning our wedding! We had the pleasure of doing our engagement and wedding photos with them. They are extremely talented, fun, charismatic and make you feel comfortable when taking pictures. They really personalize every experience to the couples’ personalities. Our wedding day happened to be during the big storm we recently had which can easily be a stressful situation, however they still pulled it off and we were still able to get the pictures we wanted done! I would not recommend anyone else and truly believe that they’re the best photographers out there!

Simply amazing. There is no such thing as perfection but man are they the closest thing to it! Everything from the preshoot to the wedding day itself was amazing! We couldnt of asked for more! Rainbow and her team are phenomenal. I did not stress once during the day. She allowed me to be a guest and enjoy my own wedding. The day flowed seamlessly. I had a wedding with a very large bridal party (17!) and Rainbow was so organized - we were even ahead of schedule which never happens! She is always one step ahead and anticipates my every move. I could not recommend Rainbow enough. If you are starting to look into your wedding, this is your sign that you must book her!

We want to thank Rainbow and her team for helping with the month-of coordination of our wedding at Langdon Hall this past weekend. We also hired Rainbow to be our MC since many of our guests spoke Cantonese, and Rainbow could run the event in both English and Chinese.

From the beginning of hire, Rainbow was overall responsive in answering all the questions that we had. I am a pretty organized person myself and did not need much help picking out my own vendors, so the month-of coordination package was perfect for us. I appreciated how Rainbow helped answer my questions throughout the process, came up with a detailed scheduled (and revised it multiple times to match my changes and needs) and connected all our vendors in the last two weeks before the wedding. Rainbow's attention to detail is impeccable.

My husband and I moved to LA a year ago and were struggling to plan our wedding in Toronto. We met with and then hired Rainbow to take over our wedding design and planning.

Our wedding was this past Sunday and it was amazing!! The design was exactly what we had discussed and Rainbow made sure to include all the elements I wanted. We had Jyoti as our full wedding planner for our wedding this past June. Jyoti did an amazing job and it was an absolute pleasure to work with her. - Every bride dreads the thought of it raining during her outdoor ceremony, and unfortunately that is what we were faced with on our day. Jyoti came prepared with umbrellas and a tent for the DJ booth and thank god she did!!! It started to downpour as we were supposed to walk down the aisle, but Jyoti and her team were prepared and our family and bridal party only got a tinyyyy bit wet compared to what it would have been without the life-saving umbrellas!! Thank you to Jyoti’s team members, Uroosa and Cassandra for embracing the rain as well!
- Jyoti and I had only briefly discussed having little black bows on our champagne tower (something I completely forgot about as the wedding got closer) and I was so happy to see during our reception hall reveal that she remembered such a little detail and had added bows to our champagne tower. It’s the little things!!
- The fact that our South Asian wedding ran exactly ON TIME (!!!!) was mind blowing to me - I thought for sure that being behind schedule was one thing we would have to accept, but that was not a problem because we had Jyoti running the show!!!

My husband and I had the great fortune of selecting Studio V for our wedding that was held there earlier this month. Dawn's venue was the first we saw when we started looking for a space and we immediately knew it was the right venue for us. It is intimate with a lot of character and it was the perfect size for our wedding with 50 guests. And after meeting Dawn we knew we were in good hands.

Dawn was very helpful with assisting us plan our wedding. She was always available to answer questions and provide ideas.

On the day of, everywhere went off without a hitch. Dawn, Eliza and their staff did an excellent job decorating the venue and making sure our big day went smoothly. It was everything we hoped for.

My partner and I held our wedding here in October 2022. We wanted a small wedding due to the changing environment of covid and fell in love as soon as viewed the venue. We had the most beautiful wedding, bettet than we ever imagined.

Dawn and Eliza are both so amazing. From our first consultation and walk through, to booking and planning, right until the last mins of our wedding day, the communication was quick and the overall planning was easy. You want to have good communication with the venue and you get that when here. I felt super at ease especially for someone who is Type A.

At first i hesitated getting a wedding coordinator as naturally I love being hands on, but we found it so helpful to have Eliza communicating with our vendors and helping with our schedule. You need a Eliza by your side brides/grooms! Highly recommend getting the wedding coordination service as add on.

Our vision of our wedding came to life and Eliza was there to help flush it out to make it even better. We held our tea ceremony, nikkah, lunch reception and lion dance.

We probably could've came with less decor based on how much was at our disposable from Studio V. So if you're on a tight decor budget, and love dried florals, minimalism with a mix of boho, they may have what you want and more without the additional coordination or cost.

The staff that Studio V hired for the day of were also top notch. So kind, so helpful, and the service was beyond amazing. Even our guests were complimenting at how lovely the service was. As soon as you enter, you feel so welcomed.

Wouldn't have had my wedding any other way.

Shoutout to Studio V Events and their amazing crew, especially Dawn and Eliza, for making our wedding day an absolute blast! We had a Hindu ceremony, which required specific arrangements and traditions, and Eliza and Dawn helped make sure everything was in place, which made the ceremony flawless. We felt respected and valued throughout the entire process - Eliza was incredibly accommodating. Their respect for our traditions was apparent and we really appreciated that. We also were able to have our dog at the wedding which was wonderful!

Eliza helped us craft a flow of events and spent a bunch of time planning out the day with us over the phone. She had some great recommendations for vendors, the set up and the flow of events - all these aspects helped make our special day memorable. Our guests loved the space and the set up. Importantly, the team was super laid-back and calm, which seriously eased our wedding planning stress!

One of the most common pieces of advice I received before the wedding was that I wouldn't have time to enjoy the day because of all the chaos. However, thanks to Dawn, Eliza, and their fantastic team at Studio V Events, I can confidently say that we had an absolute blast at our wedding. They handled every detail with grace and efficiency, leaving us free to soak in every moment and enjoy our big day.

WOW! Hiring Vanessa and Geovanny was our best wedding planning decision by far. Do it - you won't regret it!

We had a medium-sized wedding at a less traditional venue (ie. no staff, chairs, decor etc.) and were looking for people to help with the details of decorating and set-up/take-down. We also have two young kids and full-time jobs so don't have the most free time!

Vanessa took all our ideas for the wedding and helped our vision come to life. She sourced vendors, created a beautiful wedding portfolio and was incredibly helpful with keeping us on track for all the wedding to-dos. I honestly think that was one of the best things about having wedding planners - to have people to tell you what to do and when. There are so many different steps and priorities in planning a wedding - it can be overwhelming. It was wonderful to have someone to break it down for us and say here's what's next and here's how to do it.

I cannot thank Geovanny enough for his help with our rehearsal and wedding day! Because of him and his team, we were able to relax and enjoy on the day of, knowing someone else was in charge and thinking of all the little details. Lia made for a FLAWLESS wedding day! We used the month-of-coordinator service which was perfect for getting all of the last minute details sorted. She had great, professional communication with all of our vendors and venue staff - we did not have to worry about a thing! The flow of our wedding day was excellent and she kept us on schedule. Lia has been integral to my wedding day!!!! She had many meetings with me prior to my wedding and even more closer to the date (it was extremely helpful). I didn’t have to worry about a thing! She had everything planned out for me. Not only did she coordinate all the vendors and ensure we were on schedule, her energy and words of encouragement were priceless.
