I stayed here last week on a trip and I loved this hotel! It is a beautiful building and always looked very clean and well-maintained. I was mostly impressed with the staff who were very efficient and helpful with tips on getting around the city. They even gave me a map of the city and folded my pajamas neatly for me! Overall, my experience with One King West was a very professional and pleasant one. I would highly recommend them to anyone and would definitely stay here again!

I had an excellent stay here. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The location couldn’t be better with easy access to everything downtown. The service was outstanding, and the staff made me feel very welcome throughout my stay. The underground PATH system connected to the hotel was also really cool and convenient. I was extremely happy with my experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!!

I stayed here for 3 days while visiting Toronto, great service, can pay cash for room service. The wings and fries were amazing. Rooms were clean and nice. Only issue was the bathrooms were a bit small for my liking. But definitely would stay here again! Decent view as well! I recommend staying here during Christmas/new years, amazing decor.

We stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed our stay here. Our room had everything we needed: comfy bed and pillows, bathroom toiletries, dishwasher and fridge. Our room was also very spacious too with large windows. It was a nice room with a pretty view of downtown Toronto. This hotel has many floors and on most occasions, the elevator moved fairly quickly.

The hotel's location is very accessible to the subway and it's not too far from other touristy sites. We liked the proximity and location. The hotel lobby was pretty nice too. At night they had live music performing which was pretty cool to see. It can just get a little crowded and overwhelming with a bunch of things going on and so many people there.

Right after we checked out, the concierge held our things before our flight. And they also stored our perishable food items as well too, to which I was impressed because I thought it was an odd request for some of the food/drinks we bought. But they didn't bat an eye, they took care of things without a problem.

We had a good time and they took care of everything we needed. Everyone we came in contact with was helpful and great. I would stay here again.

We only had to look at one wedding venue (One King West) because from the moment we saw it, we were sold. The Grand Banking Hall completely blew us away. Its stunning, timeless elegance made it the obvious choice for our reception. Even on the day of our wedding, countless guests commented that it felt like being in New York and that’s how spectacular the space is. It was everything we envisioned and more.

Another area we absolutely loved was the Chairman’s Boardroom, where we took our family and wedding party photos. The space has such a regal, classic feel and it added such a beautiful, timeless backdrop to our pictures.

A huge shoutout to Shunell, our wedding coordinator, who was absolutely incredible to work with. She truly went above and beyond to make our day flawless. Also, a big thank you to Lance, one of the managers at One King West, who was so kind and attentive and he made us feel so well taken care of throughout the entire experience.

The venue’s beauty initially sold us, but it was the warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail from the team that made our wedding unforgettable. Thank you so much to everyone at One King West for making our big day so perfect!

We just got married at The Rizz over the weekend and it was the absolute best experience! The food was great, so many of our guests came to compliment us on the food! The service was excellent, the hall was beautiful and the team was so helpful! The staff made sure everything went as smooth at possible. The decor they provided us was beautiful and we got to play a video on their projector for our guests. I recommend Le Rizz for any of your events, it was truly the best experience ! Thanks again !

My husband and I just had our wedding at LeRizz this past weekend. All I can say is.. wow!! They went above and beyond!! I’ve been to a couple of weddings at Plaza Volare, and every time it’s been absolutely amazing! The food is always delicious, the atmosphere is electric, and the service is top-notch. I came here for a group event of about 70 people on a Sunday in March.

The room itself was nice and clean but the temperature was very cold. There was a temperature control on the wall and some guests were trying to increase it to 20 or 21 degrees but employees would lower it to 18...guests were so cold they were grabbing their coats and scarves. Eventually someone spoke to an employee to ask if it can stay at 20 and they allowed it.

I had asked one of the waiters in English what the hors d'oeuvres were that he was handing out and he did not understand I had to repeat myself in French. Someone who works in the service industry should be able to speak English and French. I

also included a photo of one of the hors d'oeuvres, a meatball, which was completely raw in the middle. I showed a waiter and he took it away and I never heard back about it. The rest of the food was fine but that put a bit of a damper on the food for the rest of the guests at my table.

I've heard a lot of positive reviews of this place but my experience was disappointing. Not sure I would consider hosting a event here myself.

We had our wedding at this venue last weekend, and honestly, the experience was incredible from start to finish—way beyond just the wedding day itself.

In the months leading up to it, the staff was so present and attentive. They were always a step ahead, checking in, helping us navigate the process, and making sure everything was unfolding the way we had envisioned. What we appreciated most was how they shared their advice without ever making us feel like our ideas were wrong or unrealistic. They’d give little tips or insights based on their experience doing this every other weekend, but they always made it clear that the final call was ours—and they’d make it work, no matter what we decided.

They were also super proactive. We never had to chase them down or ask when our next meeting was. They guided us step-by-step, from meal preferences to setup decisions, which really helped reduce any pre-wedding stress. It honestly felt like they were just as invested in the experience as we were.

They humanized the whole process too; it didn’t feel transactional at all. They’d remind us to be present, to enjoy the moment as a couple, and that little touch of care made all the difference. You can really tell they love what they do.

On the actual day of, everything ran perfectly. The staff was always nearby, gently guiding us through the timeline—but in the most calming and subtle way. The maître d, the head waitress, and all the other staff were so hardworking, kind, and personable. Throughout the night, they kept checking in on us and bringing us food to make sure we were eating enough and actually enjoying the night.

The coordinators also made our wedding feel like more than just an event they had to run. Right before walking down the aisle, they stopped to tell us how great we looked and gave us words of encouragement before coordinating and timing everything.

We had both our ceremony and cocktail hour at the hall. Originally, we had planned for it to be outside, but the weather didn’t cooperate. They calmly shifted everything indoors, reassured us that it would still be beautiful—and they were right. The setup was stunning and felt just as special as what we had originally pictured. The way they executed the backup plan was so smooth and professional.

The food was also next level. People are still texting us a week later telling us how they cleaned their platters. The braised beef was a major hit, and guests kept complimenting both the quality and the quantity of food—which can be rare to nail both. They were also on top of being attentive to the allergy and dietary restrictions of all our guests, which was very important to us—and our guests really appreciated it.

Another huge help was how they coordinated with our vendors the week of the wedding. We didn’t have to worry about who was arriving when or what was being set up—they handled it all, which gave us the space to actually enjoy the experience.

Having the hotel attached to the hall was such a lifesaver. We got ready there in the morning, which made the whole day flow so much easier—no travel stress, no rushing. And it allowed our guests to let loose, enjoy themselves, and stay overnight. We even hosted a brunch the next morning at the Resto, which was such a fun way to wrap up the weekend. The bistro staff was also amazing—super friendly and genuinely helpful.

All in all, this team gave us the wedding we had dreamed of without the pressure and chaos we thought would come with it. They were a dream team, and we would 100% recommend this place to anyone planning a wedding. It’s literally the one-stop shop for your wedding in Montreal—you can’t go wrong!

The appetizers were great, but the main meal.. I wasn't impressed with the presentation, and it was lacking flavour. Overall, this is a fairly decent reception hall, but the parking lot is VERY small.

Saunders Farm is the best farm I've ever seen. Large, beautiful, cozy and full of a variety of activities. I spent a morning until evening with my family and I would like to have an experience for the night plan on this farm next time.

Really enjoyed a day out here with the family. Unlike many other frms we've been to, this one is meticulously maintained. Staff was very nice. Zipline was included as part of the ticket. We also had a tour on tractor driven cart. There are hedge mazes here too along which was a unique experience. This is a highly recommended place for a family day out.

Would not recommend Haunted Hayride for people with back sensitivity or mobility issues. Very jarring to the body.

Grounds are visually spectacular . Lots for patrons to see if they choose not to do amusements.

Visiting Saunders Farm during Christmas is an absolute delight! The farm transforms into a winter wonderland with stunning light displays, festive decorations, and cozy holiday vibes. The Christmas Light Walk is a highlight, featuring beautifully lit trails that feel magical and perfect for all ages.

Guests can enjoy activities like fire pits, and live entertainment, creating a warm and cheerful atmosphere. The staff are friendly, and the holiday treats, like hot cocoa and seasonal snacks, add a delicious touch to the experience.

It’s a fantastic spot for families, couples, and anyone looking to soak in the Christmas spirit. Highly recommended for a memorable holiday outing!

Pros: The lobby is absolutely gorgeous with a big skylight and a library. The staff were great, from the housekeepers to the front desk and the restaurant team. We had dinner the first night and the food was very good, drinks from the bar tender was great as well, thank you Brook! The room was cozy and clean, and I loved the bed and pillows.

Cons: I wouldn’t consider this hotel luxury. The rooms are fine, but nothing really stood out. It was clean, but the lack of slippers in the room was surprising. Only one elevator was working, and it had water damage with a few broken lights, which felt a little creepy. What really stood out to me was how understaffed they seemed. I feel like we only saw two desk employees the entire stay. A tall gentleman who checked us in, very kind and helpful, but later we saw him parking cars as well. The young woman working the night shift at the front desk was back the following day, and then we saw her cleaning rooms in her suit!! It honestly looked like they hadn’t gone home. The housekeepers were also a bit loud in the morning when talking to each other in the hallways. I’m sure they did not mean to be rude, just louder than expected when you want to sleep in. Lastly, our room window faced the library. While it’s a beautiful view, it made me feel closed in, especially since the window doesn’t open for fresh air.

Overall, I loved this hotel. It is centrally located downtown with an awesome luxury feel. We did a suite and it was very comfortable. Staff was very friendly. My only complaint was that the room height was a bit low and dark but it is an older building and they made up for this with solid lighting and luxury amenities.

Stayed here for my birthday with my husband. The room was spacious and beautifully designed and so was the bathroom. The AC worked well and kept the room cool, everything was clean and well-kept. Comfy bed, pillows, cozy blanket and plush robes.

Valet service was great, the staff was very nice, we also had room service breakfast (it was ok, but I probably wouldn’t get it again), the check in/out process was smooth and the location was incredibly convenient.

One note is, the rooms look out the circular courtyard area that is the inside of the restaurant so it can get a little loud but everything died down at 11pm. Would definitely come back again!

We had the pleasure of working with Rae and Charles during a wedding reception at The Metcalfe Hotel, and they were both absolutely fantastic! Rae, the food service lead, made sure everything was constantly replenished—our guests never had to wait or look for anything. The service was smooth, timely, and super professional.

Charles, the bartender, kept the drinks flowing with ease and charm. Despite a steady crowd, no one ever had to wait long, and the guests really appreciated his friendly energy and efficiency.

They both played a big part in making the evening seamless and enjoyable. Thank you for such outstanding service!

Lovely spot to stay. Right in the middle of everything you might need. Plenty of spots to eat, really close to parliament hill, museums, all sorts of historic sights. The room itself was really nice. They have Le Labo bath products which is crazy. My hair has never smelt better.

Our stay at The Westin Ottawa was truly wonderful. We arrived early in the morning after a flight and kindly asked if early check-in was possible. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us — we are so grateful for their flexibility and kindness.

The room was quiet, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. The bed, pillows, and linens were top quality — it felt like a real sanctuary for rest and recovery.

The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of downtown Ottawa, with beautiful views and easy access to everything we wanted to explore.

And the thoughtful anniversary gesture from the hotel was such a sweet and delicious surprise — it made us feel truly welcome and celebrated.

Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ottawa. The service is exceptional, and the atmosphere is warm and professional from start to finish.

We recently stayed over night and there was a little mix up with the booking (which was our fault). It would have made it less of an enjoyable stay but Jackson at the front desk went above and beyond. He went out of his way to fix everything and correct the issue. It would have been easy to say it was our fault and leave it at that but he wanted to ensure we had a great experience!

The hotel is always clean and the staff always very accommodating. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Great location!!! Could not complain about the service. They handled the overload of people easily. Attended a conference and they could easily accommodate the massive numbers registered for the conference. There was lots of extra walking to do in order to have access to a great selection of workshops and plenary panels to choose from. The downside for me was the cost of meals 😪 Delicious mind you 😋

Check-in was very smooth and the receptionist was very friendly. She welcomed me and then told me she upgraded our room! The room was very comfortable. The pillows were just right! The shower was amazing as well. We had a very enjoyable and restful stay.

We had our wedding at Archeo this past weekend and we couldn't have asked for a better venue and team to bring our vision to life! The outdoor courtyard was beautiful, the indoor space elegant, and the service impeccable. We absolutely LOVED having our wedding at Archeo! Danielle and the entire team made us feel so welcomed and confident that we would have an amazing day - and she was right! We ended up having our ceremony and dinner inside during November and it was the most beautiful and intimate evening. The dinner staff were so accommodating and attentive, the room was flipped quickly between ceremony and reception, and the food was amazing. We cannot recommend Archeo enough!

We had the best wedding day at Archeo. We wanted a unique, cozy venue and this was perfect. Olivia was a dream to work with from start to finish. She helped answer hundreds of questions, met up with us to do multiple walk throughs and went above and beyond. The venue staff and servers on the day were also wonderful. The patio for our first dance was a dream and the space was truly perfect. The food was delicious (mushroom pasta and mini corn dogs get a special mention). The martinis and margaritas were a bit hit. 10/10 venue, highly recommend.

I have photographed a few weddings at Archeo now and I can truly say, what a great experience!!!! Aside from it being a photographers dream in terms of access to the area, the food is amazing and everyone is always super helpful with logistics on the day of. I have photographed a ton of weddings and Archeo has to be one of my favourites.

I was part of a wedding at Archeo in Sept 2022. I am lucky enough to have been at this wedding venue multiple times as a wedding photographer. It is definitely one of my favourite Toronto spots. Not only is the ceremony and reception location stunning the rest of the Distillery District offers many great spots for family, wedding party and couple photos. Obviously the Distillery District can be very busy but it's not so bad that you can't create great photos (unless during Christmas Market season). Also, the outdoor ceremony location is closed off from the public so you get the look of the district and complete privacy. In my opinion, to make a venue truly great you need fantastic food on top of atmosphere and awesome service staff. I have been to many a venue and most fail in food quality. Being a restaurant Archeo goes above and beyond in this area. The food looks and tastes amazing. Even the vegetarian options! Every wedding I have attended here has been gorgeous, intimate and so much fun. Can't wait to be back!

I had one of my wedding receptions here May 2025. It was an excellent experience getting to work with the staff here, in particular Chrissy and Gavin who were both our point of contact. They were particularly attentive and knowledgeable in all facets pertaining to our wedding at the Hudson and they worked tirelessly to have the day go off without any issues. The food was excellent as well and we had so many compliments about the venue from our guests. It can be a bit confusing for guests to find their way but with a bit of pre-wedding communication regarding wayfinding everything worked out. I would 100% have my reception here again! Thank you to the team!

I recently planned our firms holiday party at The Hudson and it was one of the best events we’ve planned so far. The space very spacious and beautiful. We had over 190 guests, had room for a lounge area, photobooth and a fun money casino! Their food is absolutely amazing and the staff was awesome!! Chrissy made the event planning portion a delight! I absolutely would recommend using the Hudson for your function be it personal or corporate!

Provided a stage for a panel discussion here. Terrific venue! Decent loading dock, helpful staff, huge freight elevator, nice decor, cool chandeliers. Hope to be back! Thanks for everything, folks!

I had my wedding here and it was incredible! The staff is so helpful on the day of, you feel like a guest at your own wedding! And i didnt even have a wedding planner!
The food was delicious and all my guests said so. Even with a mishap with communication with the DJ, the music was great and the night was unforgettable.

I just had my wedding at L’Espace Canal last weekend, and what an incredible experience! From planning the event with the venue coordinator, Alexa, to the flexibility with menu creation with chef Stuart, the communication and coordination was so professional and seamless. We also had an amazing day of experience because of Jaime, Tony, Jonathan, and Rohit. We are filled with gratitude that the whole team made our wedding so memorable and perfect!!!! We got so many compliments from our guests on the food, drinks, and service.

A beautiful place, with a cozy elegance. I had the pleasure of flowering a wedding here, bud vase centerpieces, and a wild-style bridal bouquet. To date one of my favourite locations to flower. I also returned on another occasion to dine with friends at the restaurant, I absolutely loved the french onion soup, and the steak frites was very good.

We recently had the pleasure of celebrating our wedding at L'Espace Canal, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. From the moment we started planning, our coordinator Dietrich took care of every detail with such professionalism and care.

The venue itself is stunning, with its charming ambiance and beautiful views of the canal providing the perfect backdrop for our special day. The staff was incredibly attentive, ensuring everything ran smoothly from start to finish, the food and service was exceptional.

Overall, L'Ambroisie et L'Espace Canal exceeded all our expectations, and we are so grateful to Dietrich and the entire team for making our wedding day so memorable. We highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a perfect place to tie the knot.

Our wedding experience at Le Challenger was an absolute dream come true. Since the beginning of the planning, Joe and Billy made sure we felt comfortable and stress-free. They listened to all of our ideas and ensured our vision would come to life. The wedding day itself went incredibly smooth, all our guests had nothing but positive feedback about the staff, the service, and the food! Thank you again for being the perfect venue!

We had our wedding at Le Challenger last July 26,2025 and it was perfect.

The venue was beautiful, we have access to the balcony for our garden ceremony, then we used the reception hall for our reception. They even gave us a free room suite so we can drop our stuff there, change our dresses and coats, do make up touch ups and to stay their while cocktail hr was on.

The food was a bomb. The cocktail food and drinks are all tasty. We also have a 4 course meal, and each of the meal was delicious.

The drinks are also amazing. We had an hr cocktail hr and 3 hrs open bar and the bartender was on point!

The crew and waiters also offer exquisite service.

Billy was our main contact. And let me tell you he is very amazing, i planned everything with him and he is very fast to email, respond and call.

If i have to be married again. For sure this will still be the place to be. I recommend Le Challenger to everyone who is looking for a perfect wedding!!

Joe and the entire team at the Challenger were so welcoming and gracious, making the planning process so easy. The space is beautiful and we were able to have our ceremony outside on the terrace.

The food was incredible. Every one of our guests came to tell us how much they enjoyed the food as well as the excellent service and drinks!

We recently hosted our daughter’s wedding at Le Challenger, and we are still on cloud nine! The hall itself was absolutely beautiful—elegant, spacious, and tastefully designed. It created the perfect atmosphere for such a meaningful celebration.

Amanda from Now Destinations was very helpful in organizing my sister's wedding. Her wedding took place in Ocean El Faro resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Amanda was patient and answered all of our questions. She accommodated everyone with their needs and special flying circumstances. Highly recommend her and this company. As you can see from the pictures the wedding turned out beautifully and we had a great time.

We came back about two weeks ago from our trip to Mexico for our wedding and it was absolutely magical.

The agency helped us from the very beginning, offering us different hotel and location options to match our price range and our taste. Our guests were offered a group rate and many payment options. The booking and process went very smoothly, even with a flight change a few months before, they were very helpful. Everyone we met at the agency in this past year was kind, attentive and very helpful with everything.

The wedding planning went amazing, we chose the Pearl Package and we worked with Amanda. She started from our Pinterest board to create a complete decor document with different options and price points. I had vague ideas and I would even say lack of vision but she worked with me and suggested many ideas that turned into gorgeous additions to our day and the best part is there was never any hidden cost or bad surprises. Also, she took care of all communications with the hotel and with Sunwing, I never really had to do anything. She also planned an excursion for our guests during our stay, giving us great advice and different options, and we are super happy we prebooked, it was a lot less stress and it turned out to be the best day ever (after the wedding... of course).

Overall, I hesitated at first to have a destination wedding but we had such an amazing trip and our wedding day turned out to be even better than we imagined it to be, thanks to the services of the travel agency. We would definitely do it all over again (&&wish we could).

We got married in Oct. 2022 at the Fives beaches & resort and our wedding planner was Mandy Delve. Mandy has had 20+ years of experience in the industry and it shows. She is a true professional, whose passion, dedication and knowledge shows throughout the process. We wanted a wedding with Indian and western elements and given her expertise with both she understood exactly what we were going for. From the start she understood our vision and worked with us patiently in helping identify the right resort for us - Fives was great as they have a lot of experience with Indian weddings and more generally their wedding team onsite was amazing. Mandy knows the resort and management very well and was able to work out the venues we wanted on a weekend even though they were pretty booked up. We gave Mandy creative license with both our events and she came up with wonderful ideas of merging Indian tradition, decor with western and even Mexican elements. As an example for one of our events where we wanted color and vibrancy, she suggested adding a pinata, maracas, mexican flags and other small decor items that really brought the event and our vision to life. She also went above and beyond in getting price comparisons, visiting stores in Toronto for decor, working with local vendors in Mexico. She took care of all the logistics - building a beautiful wedding website, tracking RSVPs, working tirelessly with all our guests helping book their accommodations/transfers etc., Having Mandy present during the wedding itself was amazing - she took care of all the details ensuring our events went smoothly. She was even able to ensure that all the guests have great experiences by helping with free room upgrades, dinner reservations when they were none available etc. A destination wedding is quite challenging plan and there are lots of nuances to be worked through, we feel extremely lucky that we had someone as experienced and amazing as Mandy to navigate us through the process. We can't recommend her and Now destinations enough! I would also highly recommend Fives branded and resort- beautiful venues, great wedding team, excellent vendors (food, floral, photography, music were all incredible) and lovely grounds and customer service

I literally had no idea where to begin when planning our destination wedding...I had spoken to many travel agents who were not very responsive and helpful. I was recommended to NOW destinations by a friend and I was put in contact with Amanda Katchutas. This was a game changer...she was super responsive and no question was a nuisance. Amanda took the time to explain everything to me so that there were no surprises. She really helped bring together my vision and made the process feel so effortless, easy and stress free. I can't say enough good things...what a great experience. Don't hesitate to use them for your travel plans, group bookings or destination wedding plans! Amanda is the best...I recommend that you ask for her personally! I will definitely plan my next trip...or wedding...with her! ;)

We had our Staff Xmas party there and have nothing but fantastic things to say. The service was exceptional, atmosphere was perfect and food was great! All 30 of our guests were very satisfied considering the last couple years we never had great experiences at other venues. Thank you again!!

Valerie was a fabulous host! We had a bridal shower for our bride-to-be friend at the florist’s loft and we had an amazing time. The space was perfect for our event. We had barely any other decor since the space was already decorated so beautifully. Valerie was always ready to help with anything that we needed for our event. She responded very quickly and was very knowledgeable regarding any questions/concerns we had. We had a vision and Valerie & the florist’s loft helped us bring it to life. We would love to return to have another event there!

We had our wedding here at the end of May and it was the best day of our lives.
Everyone loved the uniqueness of the venue and Edward was there every step of the way to make sure that the day went great!

We decided to take a short walk around the corner to the from of Danforth Tech School for photos…highly recommend!

We got married here in August 2022, and had a wonderful time. Always a phone call away, and easy to coordinate with. We brought in our own food and they helped make it presentable, and helped move the furniture around between ceremony, dinner, and reception. My family could come in early and set up, and the staff helped with clean up (it was included in cost) and we could pick the extra supplies up the next day. On top of that, the venue is a beautiful space, our guests loved it, it is easy to find parking nearby. We could pick the colour of flowers that we wanted on the wall (we chose roses as seen in photos). It is also very affordable for being in the city, so it is easy if you live downtown to plan a wedding here! That being said, it is not a large space. We had approximately 55 people at our wedding and I'd say that was the max. We would have our wedding here again!

I had my wedding at The Florist Loft in May and it was the most beautiful thing ever! Like many, I did lots of research and went to go look at the place. Magda and Valerie are the new owners and from the first phone call, the ladies did such a great job at explaining the cost breakdown and they had a lot of connections with vendors and were super supportive with allowing me to bring in my own vendors. We brought in our own food, photobooth, late night waffle station, mocktail drinks!

I had my ceremony and reception at the Florist Loft. The transition from the ceremony to the reception went perfect. Valerie and her team did such a good job to stick to the timeline provided and the night went smooth.

We had a small micro wedding with 45~ guest and it was the perfect amount for us and the space.

The space alone is so beautiful and does not need much added!

It exceeded our expectations! The stunning and elegant setting, coupled with exceptional service, made our wedding day unforgettable. Customer satisfaction was top-notch, and the staff went above and beyond. Thanks to Magda and Val for being so patient and kind.

I recently had my baby shower here, and am incredibly disappointed at the lack of organization and communication on behalf of the coordinator. I grew increasingly concerned throughout the planning process, and it all came to a head the day of my event. My mother arrived at our designated time slot for set up to find the space full of people, and when she went in to ask what was going on, the coordinator was not even aware that our event was taking place that day. Somehow my baby shower, which I paid over $1,000 to have at the Vandenberg House, did not make it onto her calendar. Thankfully, after realizing that I had booked well in advance and paid in full, the coordinator ushered everyone out of the space and cleaned up just in time for my mother and friends to set up for the shower. Frustratingly, no apology was offered, and I have not heard from the coordinator at all since the event.

If you still decide to book in at the Vandenberg House despite the risk of working with this coordinator, I would give you one piece of advice in terms of capacity. The capacity for this venue is stated to be 28 people seated comfortably, which is kind of half the truth. This works if everyone is seated for the majority of the event, but if you will have people mingling or walking around, seats and tables for 28 leaves very little room for anyone to walk around. If you are planning an event for which you would like seating, and space to walk around, I would limit your guest count somewhere around 20 people. I had 27 guests (myself included), and everyone was bumping into each other and really struggling to navigate the space as we made our way from our seats to the food table, around for photos, etc.

Good luck! This is a beautiful and cozy venue, so if you're willing to be very diligent about calling the coordinator and following up, it may be worth the risk to book in.

The Vanderberg House is Toronto's best kept secret space for intimate gatherings; we hosted my best friends 30th birthday on November 11th 2022 and it was astonishingly breathtaking. Charming venue and a perfect place to host my baby shower! Christiane was so easy to work with and accommodated all our requests. The space itself was so versatile and it was easy to transform into our party vision. Unlike other venues in the city, the Vandenberg House was affordable and offered so many add on options to enhance the party. Christiane went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly and was transparent about what was included from the start. I highly recommend and will likely return for my next event!

Our wonderful wedding planner, Kimberly from Envision Weddings + Events found the Vandenberg House 5 days prior to our wedding (due to our previous venue cancelling) and we thought it was perfect! Great central location, with an intimate and cozy charm. We had a very small ceremony and reception with 10 people total. Christiane was such a gracious event host, she always checked in and made sure we were comfortable, and she made sure we had everything we needed.

We had such a great experience, the only thing is I wish we found this venue sooner!! Thank you Christiane for your hospitality!

Riviera is always top quality, and affordable! They have kept the same chefs on staff which allows consistency in the quality. The owner Frank is a very respectable businessman, he keeps his word and works for you.

Our family has enjoyed many events here in the last 2 decades. Every time we go elsewhere we are always disappointed in some way.

Amazing experience with this place! They are professional, yet very caring to adjust their accomadations to fit your wedding needs and budget perfectly! From the experience I had shopping for halls they have the best presentation of the packages they offer. Clear and precise, with lots of photos and they know their food and menus well. We left our initial meeting with them, with no questions or confusion. You can clearly tell they have been in the business for a long time and have dedicated their work to accommodating the clientele. I highly recommend this hall! You won't be dissappointed.

We just celebrated our wedding at YMG and it was incredible! So much is included when you book the space, there is tons of room to have your ceremony, cocktail, and reception all in one place. YMG 2 did a great job with the wedding of my son. The place was just right for 100 guests. Food was perfect. Lights and sounds were great! The service staff did a fantastic job of attending to all our needs. Washrooms were clean and well maintained. Overall, our celebration was momentous!

My Husband and I want to extend our heartfelt thanks for making our wedding beautiful. We heard rave reviews from all our guests about the food saying that everything is so delicious, and The Venue staff were very gracious and accommodating. The attendants who took care of us at the sweetheart table were so attentive, kind and phenomenal. The bar attendant had great personality and spunk and people really enjoyed his personality. We really had a great wedding and a great day which is thanks to YMG.

We were so happy with our wedding at YMG! The food was amazing and the venue was beautiful. So many if our guests also commented on the great service throughout the meal. Sanath was our catering manager and made the entire planning process very smooth. He answered all of our questions and was able to accommodate our requests and last minute changes.

We can’t thank York Mills Gallery enough for helping make our wedding day absolutely perfect. From start to finish, the attention to detail, incredible food, and flawless service truly exceeded our expectations. We chose the Grey Eagle for our mini honeymoon location. They provided us with chocolates, a nice card and Prosecco (although when asked by the front desk if I wanted red, white or Prosecco, I answered with white) which are thoughtful touches.

The resort is full of wonderful amenities.
We dined at the Little Chief restaurant our first night and the food there was exquisite, you can tell the Chef has put their heart and soul into curating delicious meals.
For our second night we went to the buffet and casino. The buffet was highly recommended and it did not disappoint. The food and servers were wonderful.
Unfortunately the cleanliness of our room was lacking, when we got into the room I did a PreCheck and found multiple problems.
We chose the king suite with a Jacuzzi so we could relax and when I went to check out the tub found it to be riddled with unknown hairs. It was easily rectified but quite gross having to clean up after the previous guest.
I found hair pins under the curtains, small garbage littered around and a sharp nail in the carpet. Thankfully I located that with my eyes rather than a foot. I understand the business of this hotel but having clean rooms should be a bare minimum.

Went to the seafood buffet. It was absolutely terrible. I can't believe they're charging $60 for the seafood win. The crawfish were overcooked Frozen, not fresh so they're all soft. They're hardly any seafood. A little bit of crab and scallops were I don't even think real scallops I think and the place was not busy. You get a bowl in there so that whatever they're doing got rid of the lobster. Whatever. It's a rip-off for the money

I have eaten at the Blaze Bar and Grill numerous times and the food is great the Problem is waiting 10 or 15 minutes to be seated. Then, when you get a table, again you wait for anyone to acknowledge you. A couple of weeks ago 3 of us waited over half an hour to get waited on. All the waiters were hanging around the bar or walking around but doing nothing. Today we waited 5 minutes to be seated, two waitresses made eye contact then walked straight to the back. When we got a table we were given water and menus right away then waited another 20 to 25 min for someone to take our order. Instead they stood by the bar, one cleaned a table near us but didn't come over. Another talked to a table beside us but ignored us. When the waitress did come she apologized saying she was sorry she was on a break. Do the other waitresses not cover for each other? I have found there is only one good waitress and one good waiter. If I was the boss of the others they would be fired. Or perhaps their boss should notice how long they stand around and do nothing.

We were really looking forward to staying here for a concert, but the hotel room turned out to be a huge disappointment. The layout itself was fine, but the cleanliness was shocking. If you like black hair everywhere, this is the place for you. I’m staying here tonight and I’m disgusted. It doesn’t seem like the hotel even owns a vacuum—there were hairs across the bathroom floor, on the chairs, and in multiple spots throughout the room. To make it worse, I also found food crumbs and toenails.

If you enjoy playing “guess the previous guest” based on the sheer volume of hair left behind, then this hotel is for you.

Nothing makes you feel more unwelcome than having to do your own forensic sweep just to feel comfortable enough to sit down, let alone sleep.

Save yourself the disgust. A hotel that can’t manage basic hygiene doesn’t deserve a single star, let alone your business.
A hotel with this much potential shouldn’t be failing at the most basic expectation: a clean room. Until they take housekeeping seriously, I can’t recommend staying here.

I’ve been to casinos all over the world . Vegas , Monaco, Thessaloniki, Montreal, Niagara Falls.. and more. Best all around casino is Playground Poker in Montreal. Grey eagle lacks variety of machines and quality of electronic roulette machines. They need to expand that building . Furthermore after expansion , they should build a smoking room. No one wants to spend 5 -6 hours in a smoke filled building. Service was good.

We had a beautiful helicopter elopement with Julie. Everything went as planned and perfect day!:)

We had our wedding there and it was AMAZING!! We had the Héron vert hall and it was just gorgeous. The service, the food, the outdoor ceremony, everything was #1!! Our guests are still talking about how great the food was and how elegant the venue looked. We genuinely recommend Plaza Rive-Sud 100% to any couple looking for a stress-free, professional, and stunning wedding experience!

We hosted our winter brunch baby shower at the Plaza Rive Sud and it was the best decision ever! The venue ticked all of our boxes as we wanted a classy/elegant venue, open buffet, tables, chairs and cutlery available at no extra cost (this place is part of the PMG group). All that was available and offered as a full package deal. They even included the couch for our display, the money box for our gift table and the vases on the guest tables (less floating candles which I purchased on Amazon). The sunny hall we rented for the day is héron verte and blanche. The Sunday brunch open buffet was from 10:30 am till 1 pm and food was fresh, plentiful and delicious! Peter (the owner) is a wonderful person and was very accommodating with our needs, flexible and responsive to all our questions. Huge shout out to Cassandra and Nofal as well! Thank you team and keep up the fantastic work!

Rabea is all that is needed. He is a salesman par excellence. He will cater to all your needs and some. I visited other halls, but he turned a chore into an unforgettable experience from the tasting all the way to the contract signing. His passion, his attention to detail his experience is unparalleled. If you're planning a special occasion, this is the man, and his venue is unmatched.
