I went to Jabulani Vineyard with a lovely group of ladies for a wine tasting and tour — I was there as a photographer. It’s a beautiful place, not far from Ottawa. The wine was really good (I brought a bottle home), and the snacks looked fresh and tasty.

The tour was interesting, and we had a great time overall. But some of us, including me, didn’t get the food we ordered. Luckily, the girls shared a slice of pizza with me — it was delicious! I just wish the food service was a bit quicker and more organized.

Still, it’s a nice spot to visit, especially if you enjoy wine and a relaxing atmosphere.

A lovely estate to visit with the family on a weekend morning. Parents can enjoy some quality time together while the kids explore the surroundings—ponds, orchards, a river, and more. We brought home some wine, but the visit was certainly about more than just that.

I recently had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at Jabulani, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. From a photographer’s perspective, this venue is a dream — beautiful natural light and plenty of stunning spots for portraits throughout the day.
What truly stood out to me, though, was the incredible staff. They were so kind and attentive, making sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The food service was especially impressive — not only was the meal served on time and beautifully presented, but the servers were warm, professional, and genuinely seemed to care about the guest experience.
If you're a bride-to-be looking for a venue that not only photographs beautifully but also offers amazing service, Jabulani should be at the top of your list. And if you're still searching for your photographer — I’d love to capture your day here. I already know all the best spots ;)

We recently celebrated our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding at Jabulani Vineyards, and it was truly memorable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into a warm and thoughtfully designed space surrounded by vineyards, ponds, and apple trees.

The ceremony took place under a beautiful outdoor wooden beam gazebo, and the reception followed in their elegant yet rustic barn. Guests were absolutely enchanted.

The all-inclusive pricing made planning seamless, and the accommodations at Richmond Estates, the gorgeous log home on-site, were luxurious and cozy.

What truly set Jabulani apart was the exceptional service. The team at Jabulani, along with every vendor they partnered with, showed incredible professionalism, warmth, and care—ensuring every detail was handled with precision and heart.

Special thanks to Michael and Peter Van Helsdingen and Gracie, whose dedication and thoughtful support made the day unforgettable.

If I could offer one small suggestion, it would be to consider installing an interlocking paving stone pathway from the reception barn to the wedding gazebo. It would provide a smoother, more elegant walkway for guests and the wedding party, especially in formal attire.

Jabulani is truly a hidden gem! I have lived in Ottawa for 10 years and we found it randomly after a game of golf last summer. As soon as we walked in we knew it was the place we wanted to get married! The crush pad/gazebo was the perfect place to say our vows and the indoor hall had the most romantic vibes for our reception! Tom & Janet were so lovely to work with at the start of our planning process and help us select our wedding wines before they sold! We were nervous about the change in ownership half way through the year of planning, but having Megan (the wedding coordinator) by our side the rest of the lead up and on the day of was SUPER helpful. The new owners made some lovely changes - adding lights and nicer chairs which was a total bonus for us. Our wedding day could not have been more magical! If you are thinking of getting married here - DO IT!

Beautiful place, it's an Encanto !

Jardin botanique de Montréal is a wonderful escape right in the middle of the city — it truly feels like stepping into nature without leaving Montreal. The gardens are beautifully maintained, with a mix of themed areas that are both relaxing and educational. Whether you’re strolling through lush greenery, admiring the flowers, or just sitting quietly by the water, it’s a peaceful retreat from the city rush.

There’s also a small café on site with water and drink options, which comes in handy if you’re spending more time here. Plenty of parking space available, with a flat rate (we paid around CAD 14), but this place is also easily accessible via public transport. Depending on your stamina and interest, you can enjoy a quick one-hour visit or easily spend an entire day exploring. Overall, a must-see for anyone who loves nature, photography, or simply wants a calming break in a picturesque setting.

Very interesting place, where you can spend the day with your kids, and get to know about different sorts of plants and trees... Kids will love it! You can bring your own food with you and have a snack in the specified locations ... you can find tables and seats inside under the trees, very nice setting to enjoy a quick meal with the family before continuing the exploration of this huge garden! Make sure to visit all its different parts! Plan a whole day inside!

Wow what a beautiful place to come to walk and explore. There’s a free shuttle that takes you to 4 different sections. I don’t remember them all but there’s an Asian inspired garden, water garden, vegetable garden and of course flower garden. They also have a little restaurant that they serve to go meals like sandwiches and salads. We spent 3 hours here during the day. I was recommended by the staff to come again at night as it is more busy. No free parking. Be sure to get there before 730 pm or you will not Find a parking spot !

Amazing and such a well planned garden. We spent more than 4hrs here and still did not cover the entire ground. Plenty of shade to avoid the summer heat but both the Chinese and Japanese Gardens are one of the best we have experienced!

Beautiful botanical garden, it has a lot to see and explore. I spent 5 hours there and did not get bored. I especially like the Jardin Alpin section. After 7pm there is a light show in one of the section (the rose garden and Chinese garden), which is interesting as well.

Magical place, light filtering through, relaxing to visit. Bought 2 bottles reasonably priced at the shop around the back: cider mousseux Frisson en Bulles $22, and rosé Cabernet Franc 26$. We liked the cider just the Rosé was from 2022 and tasted a bit too young and fruity for me. Worth a visit just to experience a secluded paradise far away from the rat race.
Access to information is limited by a website that doesn't explain much and calls that are not picked up. There's apparently wine tasting at 20$ per person but its not advertised on their site.

The staff was friendly and make sure everyone is having a good time.
The food was good and their wine and champagne were extraordinary.
They sell all kinds bottles. Worth for a visit .

Two of our friends had their wedding ceremony here yesterday, and it was our first visit. The Chateau itself was easy located right off the highway, and the entrance was clearly marked (during daytime hours) with ample parking. We were impressed with the grounds as the fall foliage was in full bloom, and the Chateau is immaculately maintained. The ceremony took place outdoors facing the vineyards and the reception was held inside. It was very cool to be the only group there, meaning we think that there's one ceremony/group per day only, not multiple events happening at once. The staff was fantastic and very attentive to our needs throughout the whole night. The washrooms were clean, the food was delicious (catered) and the entire night went without a glitch! Based on our experience as guests, we'd recommend this place for a wedding!

Called to ask a simple question “if it was possible for us to come and take our wedding photos in front of the winery” the lady at the reception was extremely rude, instead of simply answering to my question she had an attitude and started telling me that there’s always someone outside and if I “sneak in” (WHICH WAS NEVER AN OPTION FOR US) they’ll make sure to not make it happen… but lady! I don’t have the time to waste on that day… her simple “no, it’s not possible” would be enough for me.

What a spectacular venue, absolutely stunning. We had our engagement party of 60 guests at this location. It was absolutely beautiful, very intimate, isolated, and enchanting. Its surrounded by greenery all around so its the perfect location for a photoshoot! The hosts are super friendly, understanding, and accommodating. I would have given it 5 stars if it werent for the air conditioning system that failed us the night of our engagement. It was extremely hot outside and for some reason, the system was unable to keep up indoors, we were all sweating by 10-11 PM, it was very unbearable. I advise other couples considering this venue to discuss with the hosts means of maintaining the temperature indoors. Otherwise, top notch location!

My husband and I got married at the Forest & Stream Club last summer, and to say it was the best day of our lives would be an understatement.

Beyond the beautiful grounds, the staff at this venue is outstanding. For months in preparation, Eric, Darina, and the rest of the staff ensured that all our needs were met and our wishes were fulfilled.

The food was exceptional, and despite having many guests with different dietary restrictions, the chef made sure to have delicious options for everyone.

If I could leave a review higher than 5 stars, I would. Thank you Erica, Darina, and the rest of the staff for making our wedding day as beautiful & memorable as it was. ❤️

It is beautiful but I am an outsider, that is my perception from the outside. Not a club I can join sadly, but I like the mystery. So if ever you offer a visit, I would love to see it as in insider this time.

We love shooting weddings at the Forest & Stream Club, it's nothing short of magical! The stunning waterfront views provide a breathtaking backdrop for various pictures throughout the day.

A dream wedding experience!

The first communication with Eric was already pleasant. From providing initial information to setting up a meeting and a tasting, to answering any and all questions inbetween and to the day of, all instances of communication with the team at Forest & Stream Club was easy and informative.

Upon the first visit to the venue, my husband and I felt at ease. The building and its surroundings are at once stunning and calming. We were looking for a space that felt warm, welcoming and familiar - The Forest & Stream Club easily provided this for us. We knew we wanted to book our wedding date soon after our first visit.

The following months would be about setting up a food tasting. My husband and I had the entire front room to ourselves and that experience in itself was a pleasure. Cynthia was very warm, friendly, helpful and informative, offering tips about the food and the logistics of the wedding day. The Chef was also available for any questions and comments as well. All in all, we felt very well taken care of.

Leading up to the wedding day, whenever I had any questions, Eric was very quick to respond to any emails. On the day of, Cynthia was instantly readily available for anything I needed or wanted. She made sure we (me, bridesmaids, husband, groomsman, family etc) had everything we needed, and made sure we were to be wherever we were required to be! It really was such a dream to have her there for us throughout the day and night. She even made sure I was eating throughout the day! The food was so good that I couldn't NOT eat :-) I cannot thank Cynthia enough for making me more at ease on our wedding day. We didn't have a wedding planner; we were very confident and relieved at how helpful and easy it was to work with Eric and Cynthia on the day of our wedding.

We've had many guests tell us it was one of their best and most memorable weddings they've attended - the location, venue, food and staff were a joy. A truly amazing experience and not just because it was our wedding day.

Beautiful outdoor venue by the lakeshore for a special occasion. Only downside was the complaints of the neighbours about the sound/music during the late hours. The police paid a visit several times.

We celebrated our wedding at Le Crystal on July 19, 2025, and it was truly the best decision we made! A big thank you to Joe, Tanya, Connie, and the rest of staff who were very helpful, professional, and responsive. They worked with us on every detail and made the planning process very smooth.

The hall itself is so stunning, elegant, and beautifully maintained. Our guests were impressed with the décor and atmosphere. The food was very delicious, and we received so many of compliments from our family and friends.

The service on the day of the event was also remarkable. The team made sure everything ran on schedule and that we did not have to worry about anything. They handled last-minute changes with grace and kept the mood stress-free and joyful.

We highly recommend Le Crystal for anyone looking to have a beautiful and memorable and wedding!

The team at Le Crystal was absolutely perfect, there was not one complaint from anyone. Working you guys was so easy and stress free! The food was absolutely delicious, the waiters were always on point even until the end. Anny was a 5 star waiter, super helpful from the moment we got to the hall till the every end she was always checking in, never had a glass empty on any table (head table and parent tables).

You and the team just made our wedding so easy for us to actually enjoy. We want to thank you and the team from the bottom of our hearts on making our day so perfect.

Working with you, Joe and Tanya and even Connie at the end when we had to do deliveries so smooth there was never any miscommunication or someone missing information. You guys did amazing and we will definitely spread the word to any friends, family or strangers to go to Le Crystal.

Our experience at Le Crystal was nothing short of amazing! From the very beginning, Julia guided us through every step of the planning process; she was truly an angel and made everything so easy and stress-free. Especially when we had last minute changes, Julia handled everything amazingly.

On the wedding day, everything ran so smoothly. The team was constantly checking in to make sure we had everything we needed, which allowed us to just relax and enjoy our day. The food was absolutely incredible, and Anny was there helping me with anything I needed.

4.6 stars ill give, in the beginning the owner promised me a lot of things like free beer during services time and start at anytime decorating the day of the wedding and he said I can pay with credit card, debit or cheque.
Now the issue was that the person who take care of the whole process Tanya did not listen to all of that so When i will send emails about those details i will receive an answer about no thats not possible this and that. And then after they will tell me yes sorry. So I stressed a few times during the months I was organizing. But thanks God everything will be fine at the end of the day. I got a nice service at the tasting service the head of servers i think was really nice to us. And the food was amazing. So i had no complains about food. I had complicated guest during wedding day, she never answer to my questionnary about food restrictions, And she was lactose intolerant and nevwr answered that form about food. So I didn't said to the waiter about this person because usually she will take pills for lactose. But i heard her complain about her salad cesar that had cheese. And me has a bride got mad NOT at the server but her. But good think about the Crystal that they never got back to me about that guest they just took care of it and handled very well. So I do appreciate very well the big effort they did. And not only that. But they cut the cake that was almost falling NOT because of them but because of my vendor. And they still cut the cake properly. At the end of all of it I got happy. So its almost a 5 stars just the last 6 months that was stressful for me. But the day of was amazing.

We had our wedding at Le Crystal and cannot speak highly enough about the service and every member of the team because they are wonderful throughout every step of the process.

We were initially interested in the venue because of the hall itself, the Pearl hall is stunning and fit the vibe of the wedding we wanted, but then were so impressed by the communication and time they took in meeting with us, it was clear they are passionate about what they do and are confident in their ability to execute a couple's vision.

Everyone we dealt with made the entire wedding planning process so seamless and stress-free. They were quick to respond with any question I had and have a clear outline of what information they need and when and were things I would not have thought of and it is evident that they know what they are doing and have an efficient process. I did not hire a wedding planner and did not feel I needed it with how easy and supportive the process was.

On the day everything went so smoothly, the food was some of the best we've had, the service was incredible, we even had one of the waiters who was at our tasting come by to say hi, which was so thoughtful, and the day went exactly how we had hoped it would.

Our guests are still talking about how wonderful they found Le Crystal, especially how delicious the food was (one guest said it was the best vegetarian meal she had ever had at a wedding/event) and how impressed they were with the service of all the waiters and bar staff.

With the number of weddings and events they have hosted you could imagine just feeling like a number to them but that could not be further from our experience. They made us feel so special and that our wedding was important. They are truly masters at what they do and I cannot imagine a better team anywhere else.

A beautiful flat area that all ages can walk around in. There are plenty of beautiful places to take Fall Colour Photos.

It is completely free to come and enjoy and the parking is not far away.

I would imagine that this place would be perfect for either family portraits or wedding photos too.

Absolutely loved DJing here. Warm, intimate, inviting. There’s a special kind of energy down there in fish creek. And the hardwood floor is great for dancing!

Great location and beautiful surroundings! Loved this location for the Candlelight series. This is a beautiful and intimate space for such an amazing experience. Very clos to Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant to have a bite before or after.

Our family hosted a wedding here and we were delighted with the ambiance, set up and service. Very happy. Location is amazing. Would have given 5 stars. A bit disappointed however with the bathroom situation. Only 3 restroom stalls - one men's and 2 women's. One of the women's stalls was out of service and so the door was just locked and no one to fix it. Created lines waiting for the restroom. The odor coming from them created a not-so welcoming addition to the entrance to the venue but I'm sure it will all be rectified after the long weekend. All in all, we enjoyed the venue and the beautiful ambiance it created for the wedding.

Old port Montreal, an amazing place to visit if you are going to Montreal, the summer vibe was at the full swing and people are so nice and friendly the variety of food outlet and other shops were just too good. One can enjoy the live music at most of the streets with amazing musician and playing with even the old forgotten instruments, the desert shops is another plus. Great time to spend and its all on foot.

Great place to visit and enjoy several fun activities like boating, zip lining, Ferris wheel, etc. The seating area beside the river is super scenic. Designated paid parking is available just beside the river area for 35 dollars.

A nice place to visit all year round. Ride on the ferris wheel is a great experience.

The information and interactive part of the exposition was great. I recommend going after 3pm or even on a weekend because when I went there was multiple schools groups there. The unpleasant part is when the kids would cut infront of the other people. All in all, an interesting exposition.

Very beautiful place. It would give you european vibes. There are lot of summer activities going on which you can enjoy. Must try the wheel and you will get the whole city view. There are many cute patios around to eat.

This park is AWESOME!
When you leave the station, there’s the main area where the globe is located. This area has well-maintained washrooms, a restaurant, a nice sculpture, and also a scooter station. I highly recommend you download the “Lime” app to rent a scooter. I explored part of the park by riding it around and it was super fun! I also recommend you put your gloves on if you’re riding a scooter during the fall/winter season as the wind will certainly make your hands uncomfortable. Apart from the main area, the park has also a beautiful path alongside the lake which is incredible! This path has some benches facing the lake making it the perfect place to relax while admiring the beautiful view. After exploring this side of the park, you can walk to the opposite side of it, crossing the bridge. Keep walking and cross the Formula 1 Circuit (Circuit Gilles Villeneuve) and you’ll be able to enjoy another beautiful path in nature. While strolling around this area I kept wondering how nice it must look in summer/ early fall/ winter (with snow). Anyway, I highly recommend it and I am already looking forward to going back!

It's easily accessible to public transportation metro/bus. You will find the beautiful scenery ✨️ colorful trees (sep/oct) and an old fort/Minar. Walking through the forest is amazing 👏
You must plan at least 6 hrs to spend over there to covering the entire park.

One of the most beautiful park located in the heart of the city. Easily accessible via metro and bus routes. There are several cool activities during the summer as well as in winter for everyone. Huge picnic area with tables. Cityscape also looks great from there and amazing place for the nature walk and photography.

A very big and beautiful park with great views of the city and harbour. They've been making many renovations to update the park's infrastructure, buildings, and landscape features.

I definitely recommend coming here during the weekdays when it's quiet to explore the many trails and gardens.

It's such a beautiful place. There's so much to see. The flowers are beautiful. There's also this enormous blue chair that's really cool. I simply went there to enjoy the clamness of the afternoon and had no idea a that the Biosphere Museum was near by. I was pleasantly surprised. I absolutely enjoyed going there and intend to go back soon.

I just wanted to take the time to personally thank everyone involved for making our wedding absolutely perfect. I would especially like to thank Vic for helping us from the get go and a special thank you to Joe for being on top of everything the day of. 5 stars is not enough!!!

Just celebrated my 30th birthday at Plaza Universel a few weeks ago and let me tell you, I am still in awe on how amazing it was. From day 1 to meeting Vic, to the planning up until the end of my party it was just an amazing experience, stress free, and just perfect. Vic and his team were there for me every step of the way.
My guests are still talking to me about the food, the high quality menu and service. Everything was fantastic, the menu itself, the portions, the service...I have no words. The team was incredible, our waiters. They took care of my guests and made us feel like family. There is no doubt I would host all my future events here. I would recommend Plaza Universel in a heartbeat.
Thank you so much to the whole team for making my 30th birthday so special, perfect and memorable. I can't wait to host and plan another event with you guys.

We celebrated our wedding reception at Plaza Universel (Part of PMG group) and it was the best decision we ever made! The staff, the service, the food, the ambiance, everything could not have been more perfect! We were in great hands from the start of our wedding planning process until our actual wedding day. Our guests had nothing but great reviews and we were very pleased with every effort and dedication that was put in to make our special day that much more special. I attended my niece’s bridal shower at this venue on May 25th, 2025 and it was such a wonderful experience that I felt the need to write a review. I was so impressed with the beautiful renovations that were done to this iconic building that has been around for many years-it’s a must see. The staff were amazing-professional and so kind and helpful. The owners were also present at the event. They tended to our every need and were a major contributor to the success of the event! I was blown away with the artistic presentation of the food and it was just as tasty and delicious as it was presented 😋 The newly renovated spaces, the great quality of food and exceptional service is a hidden gem on Preston. I highly recommend this place-you will love it!

I've been to two conferences here, with no complaints. The food was quite good, the sound system was excellent, and very well laid out, with a breakout room.

We had our wedding here this month and I cannot say enough great things about the venue and the staff. They were extremely responsive, helped us every step of the way including accommodating our every request the night of. Abbas was extremely present throughout the evening, not only checking in on the bride and groom but every room in the venue ensuring guests were taken care of. They communicated with our vendors to make the day run smoother and allowed us access to the venue prior to the event to add our own finishing touches. The food was incredible, and Yousef was extremely accommodating by adding any items we wanted to the menu. The renovations they've done really make the whole space pop. I highly recommend contacting them for any event.

Attended a charity event at the Preston event center last week, the venue is splendid, food was exceptional, and the service was stellar. I haven’t heard about this place before but I was greatly surprised ! A great event center, near downtown with parking !! I will definitely reach out to them if I have any event coming up !

My wife and I stayed here for the last three nights of our honeymoon. This picture perfect ranch overlooking Eagle Lake was the perfect way for us to unwind and say "see ya later" to Canada. The cabin was perfect, complete with a real fireplace and a beautiful view. We made fast friends with both Ryan and Kara whose warm, sincere, hospitality, truly made us feel like more than just guests. My wife and I both recommend the ranch hand experience with Ryan. We both had fun spending up close time with the animals and learning how to rope. This place is a little slice of peace and quiet close enough to Banff to be the perfect base of operations if you so choose, but definitely a worthy destination vacation on its own! Hope to see ya soon Ryan and Kara!! We will be back!!

What a beautiful little spot, the quick getaway needed from the city but yet so close. spent a couple of days with the family, kids loved it. Cabin was spacious, super clean, well maintained with very nice little touches. Hot tub, fire pit and a BBQ as well. Lots of room for the kids to roam free, some animals on the farm that the kids enjoyed watching. Fairly well priced and very easily to communicate with the owner. Looking forward to another visit.

I was extremely disappointed with the way the RRR handled our booking. They didn’t get along with our wedding planner so they completely ruined our wedding experience. They went over an initial contract that my husband and I signed. And then TWO WEEKS before the wedding day, they wanted to change the contract with a TON of wacky conditions to add extra charges. We couldn’t use the bathroom without added charges, the reception would have been over by 10 PM when it was originally not stated, guests can’t wander the property if they aren’t apart of pictures. Just a bunch of controlling rules. The day of the wedding my planner wouldn’t have been allowed on the property. My husband is a DJ and when they found out they added this clause

“ 4.3 DJ’s & Music Providers: Any vendors providing music services must be respectful in regards to the level of volume. If it is deemed that any music is too loud or disruptive, the Company reserves the right to ask the vendor to reduce the volume, change the song, or shut down completely.”

Because they considered this a cancel (based on the first signed contract they said was not valid cause “they didn’t sign”) they kept all our money and we had to pay for a new venue 2 weeks before the day. I was gonna sue for my money back but I would rather not interact with these people again. I texted them and emailed for our money back with no luck. So I reported it after the wedding to the BBB and they threatened to criminally charge us in their response through the BBB. Then after my wedding the owner texts me asking us to come out for a drink cause this isn’t how they wanted this to go. So expect added charges if you go here.

In their response, they still blamed my wedding planner for taking my money and canceling our wedding. No accountability for ruining someone's wedding planning experience. I am SO SO happy we found the spot we did to make the day successful.

My husband and I had our wedding at Rockin R last August. From day one we knew we wanted a ranch wedding and Rockin R was the perfect backdrop. From the first day we toured the venue until our Wedding Kara and her husband were amazing. They worked with us on any request that we had and accommodated everything we wanted for our day. They have made an amazing venue for weddings or anything else you want to celebrate. We cannot wait to go back and create more memories at the Ranch.

If you’re considering booking - just do it! This place is so special, and the owners are fantastic. I had an incredible stay. The sunset was just magical. Make sure you book an experience like riding or roping. Pack your outdoor/riding shoes, and I’d advise having your own vehicle too. Don’t forget swimwear for the hot tub :) I can’t wait to be back here at Rocking R with friends and family.

Well let me start with the good , plenty of parking , wonderful server , food cane out very quickly, prices are very reasonable 👌 but my butter chicken wasn't good the sauce was fine but my chicken was not tender it was tough and stringy. The beef in my samosas was dry and lacked any real flavor. The place was very run down , don't think I'll be back anytime soon , it sucks cause I really wanted to like this place 😔

I love this place! Tasty food, terrific service and pleasant environment. Low music so dinner conversation is easy. The flavours are unique, complimentary and beautifully auromatic. This is a must for a lovely dinner out. You will find yourself ordering extra just so you have a portion to take home, and the portions are plentiful. Numerous gluten free options. Thank you for a lovely experience.

From the moment you walk in you feel the warmth of this restaurant. My husband and I enjoy coming her for there lunch specials. You can pick between vegetarian or meat main courses and it comes with an appetizer, salad of the day and fresh nanny bread all for under $17 per person. Today i ordered the butter chicken special and per usual it was thick creamy and full of incredible flavor. Definitely a favorite for anyone. My husband chose the beef vindaloo. If you like something with a bit more of a kick this is definitely one you must try. It came out thick bright and bursting with spices. Let's just say he couldn't stop smiling with every bite. This has to be one of our favorite places to eat from strathmore to calgary. We are never disappointed when we come. The restaurant is always clean and the young lady who works here is always polite and prompt with checking in on you. If you like food with flavour and dimension leaving your entire family fully satisfied and happy. This is the place to EAT!

Some of the best Indian food I have ever had!

I haven’t dined in so I left service and atmosphere unrated but this food is SO good. I’ve eaten Indian food from a lot of different places in Edmonton and Calgary and I have to say this place tops it. The butter chicken is so creamy and flavourful, the chicken is cooked just right - soft and not chewy or dry. The pakora is crispy and flavourful. The chicken biryani is another really delicious dish that’s seasoned perfectly.

I’m excited to try many more items on this menu. Definitely recommended and will certainly be ordering more!!

Went with the family to get some drinks and light snack with a rooftop view and it did not disappoint. You can see the Ferris Wheel. Must be a better view at night with the lights on.

The drinks were great and worth the price. The food, on the other hand, was not that great, a little bland.

Really enjoyed my time at Percy’s, the ambiance, food and atmosphere is great. The Terrace gives you a feel of seclusion while being around a crowd. The service was great and a shout out to Camila! She was exceptional. Also, the vibe is great, music was on theme and fit the ambiance

Not usually into fancy shmancy dining, because I like to pig out and spend half the price. However coming here the service was amazing! Food was decent and the rooftop views was a nice addition. Thank you Camila for the attentiveness and excellent customer service, we hope you get the massage that you’re competing for !!

We only made the reservation in the morning for tonight’s dinner. Picked it as a leading rooftop restaurant. On reservation, asked for a table for two with nice view if possible. We were seated right in corner with best view of the plaza below.

Our server, Camille T., was polite, kind, efficient and never far away, but only when needed. She was also very pleasant and patient. We never felt rushed.

The food was very good. Wagyu dumplings were good, Bao buns with shredded chicken and vegetables were delicious. My wife and I each had a salad with grilled chicken. The salad was unique as it had corn and bits of bacon in it.

This was a special experience, exactly what we were hoping for.

Had an amazing experience here with my girls especially thanks to our fantastic server Joelle!! The food was honestly incredible, I loved the pancakes and wedges. Would definitely recommend ❤️

I recently had a wedding event at The Baron and had an absolute amazing experience. From inquiring about the event to executing it, it was perfect. Thr staff was super accommodating especially with last minute changes. The food was incredible! They helped with setup and take down and did everything to ensure we had a great experience.

The price point is ideal for small to large groups. Plenty of hotels close by with an added discount. My out of town guests were close to the airport and major highways

Ill 100% use this venue again and will hire them for catering events also!

I cannot say enough good things about this space and the team at The Baron. From the moment I reached out and even after our event Shae, Sarah and her team have been so highly organized, friendly, and supportive.
I hosted our company awards gala at this space in February and was so happy with how everything turned out! The staff had everything organized ahead of time and were so easy to work with. We encountered some sound issues during our presentation which the staff helped out tremendously with. The food and drinks were lovely and our attendees loved how much parking was available!
We’re excited to host our 2025 events with them!

The Baron was amazing to work with for our October wedding! The space checked off all the boxes for the mood of our wedding. The food was so delicious and had a great variety to choose from. The staff was always responsive and provided top-tier service. Highly recommend if you are looking for an intimate gathering for a great price!

My program's graduation party was held at the Baron and it was such a wonderful event. The venue itself is a fantastic space - very intimate yet open. Both before and during the event the staff were incredibly helpful, had great communication, and took care of all details. Guests raved about the buffet and were so impressed with how well the kitchen accommodated a variety of dietary restrictions including halal, vegetarian, gluten free, nut free, and lactose intolerant. Everyone was also really happy with the variety of drinks and pricing at the bar.

Multi-level facility with one large ballroom for hosting events or weddings. They've maintained the theater-vibe which is quite unique. Sound system is superb and they have a large projector screen. Servers are polite and professional. They also have a large bar area upstairs for hosting cocktail receptions.
It's probably expensive to host an event here, but if you're looking for a more classic environment this might work well.

Shot a wedding reception here during the summer and found their ambiance unbeatable! Their interior is gorgeous, and having an upper "viewing" area for cocktail hour and the first dance was so unique. And ofc, wedding portraits outside at night is a must because the lights and the sign are perfect for "hollywood" vibes

We had our wedding at The Eglinton Grand and could not have asked for a better experience. As a photographer, working at The Estates of Sunnybrook was truly a dream! This stunning location elevates wedding photos and videos to an entirely new level. We booked Estates of Sunnybrook (EOS) after doing tons of searches. Once we saw the McLean House we knew it was where we wanted to have our wedding. The house is BEAUTIFUL, the grounds are kept impeccably and the FOOD -- amazing.

Though there were a few limitations, Diane our sales manager, and Paula, or catering director/manager made sure we had the best day. At the end of it all, our wedding was perfect and we wouldn't have chosen a different venue for our wedding. Both my husband and I loved the garden for our ceremony, the tent extension on the patio for our reception, and the other included rooms in the house for cake serving and late night poutine.

Though our schedule was pushed back a little because of tent setup, small rainfall, and a day-of complication with our helium tanks, the EOS staff are very experienced and were very ad hoc and discussed with our GM what they could do to make the guests enjoy the day without any issues and I gotta say, it was fantastic. I was impressed.

Also, our guests all said they LOVED the venue and that it was the best wedding food they've ever had (of course we ordered the best of the best menu choices for our guests -- and also the amazing chef allowed us to make a few substitutions to the food pairings -- things we enjoyed a great deal at the tasting). You really get what you pay for! The food was so amazing that after we looked back at photos of the day, we want to return just to have the meal again.

Only 1 thing I would suggest is to allow 2nd wedding party of the day to setup earlier.

Had my January wedding here and from venue to the food it was perfect. Ann was amazing to work with, so easy going, and helped me make my dream wedding come true. The food was delicious and the service was spectacular. The venue is georgeous, both inside and out. Sunnybrook took care of everything and I did not have one worry on my wedding day. I would reccommend to anyone to use their services!

Had the chance to experience the magic of Sunnybrook at a company event and just wow. The McLean house has lots of space and rooms for walking around, dancing and dining. The house is fully furnished and decorated so it is ideal for pictures anywhere. There are several washrooms on the second floor - I guess that comes handy for wedding parties. There is lots of free parking for the guests too which is great. The service of the team who tended to our event were just wonderful, specially the head manager or supervisor of the event. He went above and beyond. I would totally go back for another party!

Great place for weddings and other social and business events. We had a catered business lunch here and the food was very good.

When did actually go in November 10th event it was nice and fun place and the parking is nearby only so you can park there and there are a couple of parking options nearby cheap options this whole consists of two places of bottom floor and the ground floor but it's just very squeaky because it's made out of wood

Mark and the staff at the Great Hall hosted our wedding and did an incredible job.

Mark is very accommodating and easy to work with. The coordination with vendors was seamless.

The bar service was fantastic. Great drinks, no waits, good times.

I would highly recommend the Great Hall.

The Great Hall is a stunning concert venue that also serves as a wonderful location for a wedding. The staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Everyone at the Great Hall was very genuinely invested in making sure our event went well from start to finish. While there were a few unexpected turns, the staff at the Great Hall did a wonderful job of working with our vendors to keep things running smoothly. We didn’t really know how much went in to putting on a big event like this, but having the support and expertise of Mark and his team made the process a whole lot easier, and the end result was absolutely perfect!

Yea solid venue, love concert halls this size, feels very intimate and connected to the music and band but still big enough to have a decent size crowd that can really roar. Toronto has a few venues like this now and it's great, typically the shows are more affordable and offers options to more obscure bands that still make it worthwhile coming here as they can fill the hall.

Security was fast and efficient. Getting through the doors was easy. The bar was well stocked and service was prompt. Everything was clean and organized and well laid out.

Two criticisms
1 The sound crew seemed to have some issues mixing for both bands. Both bands were signaling them throughout their sets. This is not exclusively a problem to the great hall, every venue in Toronto has this issue it seems like. Can the sound techs in the city please figure it out? The music is always A) too loud to the point that speakers are peaking and B) instruments aren't mixed well where you always have one instrument over powering the others. Please, please, please - venue owners you need to pressure the sound techs to do better, more testing, more practice, more work with the artist ahead of time etc because we are robbing fans by not being able to hear these artists at their best.

2 It was way too hot in there. Try improving the A/C, if it was even on?

It didn't ruin my experience but overall I feel like it could have been more fun if the mixing and temperature were improved.

I've photographed several weddings in this beautiful space and I always love coming back! So much character and charm in the main hall. The light in the Drawing Room and the Conversation Room is beautiful for ceremonies & cocktail hour. Lovely staff too!

The Herb Garden is hands down one of my favourite wedding venues in the Ottawa area. As a photographer, I’ve had the joy of capturing many weddings here, and each time I’m reminded of just how special this place is. The gardens are absolutely stunning, the rustic charm is unmatched, and every little corner offers a beautiful backdrop for photos.

What an absolutely perfect place to have a wedding!
My husband and I recently got married at The Herb Garden and it was the most perfect atmosphere we could have asked for. The decor that they have set up (even before we set up any of our own decor!) is so beautiful and elegant and it makes adding your own spin so very easy!
Katey and Nathan are extremely easy to work with and communicate very efficiently. On our wedding day they were busy behind the scenes making sure everything was running smoothly, but you never would have even known they were there!

We had access to everything we needed while we were there, including a bridal lounge, buffet/dessert barn, washrooms, open fields, a gazebo, indoor and outdoor bar area, various extra decor pieces, and so much more.
Dozens of our guests came up to us during the evening telling us what an amazing venue we chose and how it was so personable and cozy, and we could not agree more.

If you are looking for a beautiful wedding location out in the country, you will find none better than The Herb Garden!

If it wasn't for this venue, we would have likely cancelled our wedding. It was the most perfect, beautiful venue and was exactly what we were looking for. We only saw one venue, and booked it before we left.
On top of that, the owners are the most amazing people and are perfect for this industry. Katey and Nathan don't just provide you the venue, but provide you the opportunity to make your wedding how you want it. The flexibility of bringing in our own catering, alcohol service, music options, and more made our wedding feel unique and that's what we were looking for. They are there to help and guide you as needed, and are so unbelievably helpful leading up to the event. And then night of, my goodness they were superstars. There is an endless list of compliments that we can give to this venue, but even more so about the amazing owners.
Please, do yourself a favour and just visit this venue if you have any desire for an outdoor barn style wedding. And make sure to meet with Katey and Nathan. And then just take it in before you make a decision. Because I can tell you, this is the right spot for your wedding!

I just stayed at the University Club of Toronto. First, the location is in easy walking distance to most downtown things including great restaurants and activities. The service included a nice continental breakfast. The in room coffee machine was awesome. The staff was incredibly professional and polite. The property was well maintained and very quaint and comfortable. They had many activities for signup. The bed was so comfortable. I slept like a baby even in a downtown area. Highly recommended.

We recently hosted our wedding at the University Club of Toronto and they were absolutely incredible to work with. The food was five star, the venue is stunningly beautiful and the staff went out of their way to help us at every opportunity. They made us and our guests feel so welcomed and as though none of our requests were too big or small. Each and every staff member we dealt with was kind, helpful and professional.

We recently became members of the University Club of Toronto, and also hosted our wedding reception at the Club. As younger members of the Club, we've loved seeing the energy and events hosted at the Club - it's been such a great way to meet Torontonians and enjoy an absolute gem in the middle of the city.

Our wedding was the most perfect night - the entire Events team and staff at UCT went above and beyond to ensure that our reception was flawless. They helped us through the planning process, were extremely responsive and helpful whenever we had questions, and the hospitality was just off the charts.

We've received nonstop compliments on the entire evening - the incredible beauty of the Club, the intimate setting for our reception, the service was spectacular, and most complimented was the food!! Our cocktail hour and the delicious quality of dinner have been the talk of our guests! We even had a few out of town family and friends stay at the hotel at the Club, which made the experience even better.

We cannot recommend the Club enough for any private function, wedding or otherwise, and really encourage other Toronto residents to consider joining as a member. You'll meet wonderful individuals, benefit from amazing amenities and events, you'll gain access to reciprocal clubs around the world, and you'll have a delightful space in the heart of the city to enjoy.

Went to a wedding for my cousin. Was about 100 ppl and the food and service was excellent. Unfortunately the ceremony was in the room facing University Ave and you could hear the protestors who are next door out front of the US consulate. Beautiful paintings and the architecture is also beautiful. Great place for small function if everyone lives downtown or is riding a bike

My wife and I hosted our wedding at the UCT this summer. Wonderful experience! Professional service, delicious food, beautiful space. Would highly recommend it as a wedding/event venue for those that enjoy old-world charm and hospitality.
