Such a lovely and peaceful spot to wander, no matter the season. The grounds are well maintained, the landscaping is beautifully planned, and the little mazes are a delight. I even spotted butterflies which made the visit extra special. Lots of benches and railings on the stairs make it accessible and comfortable, though it is disappointing that parking isn’t free even with an accessible permit. Overall, a calm and thoughtful place to enjoy nature.

It’s a nice botanical garden albeit on a smaller scale comparing to Montreal Botanical Garden. Took up to an hour to check out the gardens without hiking far down the trail. Modest parking fee and ample parking lot, there is a cafe on premises. Worthwhile visit when gardens are in bloom.

This was way better than I thought it would be. As you're walking through the winding paths of various material (stone, wood, dirt), you can feel the silence in the air while smelling the aroma of flowers.
The winding stairs to get a 360 view was a nice touch. I'm sure they're busy during the wedding season.
The gift shop was not disappointing, and the prices are reasonable. I purchased some beautiful birthday cards which had pressed flowers on it that was created by the Pressed Flower Group for the Toronto Botanical Garden for $6.99. Way cheaper than what the drug mart sells.
I was very pleased with my day out and I'm looking forward to going back again!

Visited the Toronto Botanical Garden on Mother’s Day, and while the experience was lovely overall, be prepared for crowds if you’re visiting on a special occasion. The parking lot was completely full, and we had to wait almost 2 hours just to find a spot. It turns out there was an event happening, which probably added to the number of visitors.

Once we finally got inside, though, it was worth the wait. The were so many gorgeous flowers and peaceful walking paths. Despite the crowd, the place still felt serene in its own way. A perfect spot to enjoy nature and take beautiful photos.

Tip: If you’re visiting on a busy day, come early or consider alternative parking nearby.

We love this place but it's a bit of a trek. Went to see frog and toad. Have gone to gluten free garage in the past and this was much more chill.

Great playground! Unique playground equipment, my son loves to climb the web line Spiderman and the rotating monkey bar wheel thing. Splash pad is cool too.

A big city gem! The Saturday morning market is something everyone should experience, and you'll likely want to keep coming back! Come hungry and bring your shopping bags for fresh produce, cheese etc...

Attended Halloween Howl with Solid and Rob with my little ones. Amazing show if you have not taken it in. The farmers market is not to be missed either. Highly recommended. It's a good way to meet other members of the community and it's important to teach our children how they can be part of the local community.

A nice way to connect with the neighborhood and community. One get authentic fish roti, Tibetan momo's, homemade sushi and miso soup, fresh pastries, baked goodies, cheese, meat and fruit and vegetables. The price is a bit high but it's worth it.

Absolutely beautiful! Great place to visit. It's definitely fun if you're really into exotic tropical plants. There is much to see, and the variety inside is just gorgeous; it feels like paradise. Cozy and warm experience during the winter, and the decor is amazing and seems well-maintained and taken care of. My husband and I were here 30 years ago for our wedding now, and it still looks wonderful. Would recommend going earlier on a weekday to avoid the crowds. Check it out and enjoy the scenery.

Very nice park and green house. There are two big sized green house (garden) in the park. A lot of healthy plants inside the green house and you can just walk around freely to enjoy admiring the plants there. For example you can see some cactus plants, money trees and lots of different types of plants that i cannot named them all here.

This garden is a very chill place. You can just sit down and relax on a bench inside to enjoy a warm afternoon.

One of the green house has small ponds and there were some turtles and fishes, also a little fountain as well.

Allan Gardens may be undergoing renovations, but it’s still a fantastic spot to visit. The variety of plants, trees, and other species is impressive, making it a visual delight. The greenhouse offers a warm tropical escape, perfect for a break from the cold or to explore nature in warmer climates.

Best of all, there’s no admission fee, and it’s open from 9 AM to 5 PM. They also host community events and plant sales! The staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, contributing to an overall wonderful and educational experience. I can't wait to return once the renovations are complete. Definitely worth a visit!

Don’t let ongoing renovations stop you from visiting. These free public gardens are beautiful to wonder through and enjoy a peaceful moment to yourself. I enjoyed seeing the turtles sunbathing by the waterwheel. At one point I spotted a plump squirrel in one of the greenhouses, little guy must be living good in there. The dedication and time put into these overflowing garden is incredible, and well worth the 15 minutes it takes to walk through the greenhouses.

This is my favorite spot to visit. It is free to enter. They always updating plants and putting up new flower sculpture. The staff are friendly and take great care of the turtles,plants and fish.

Its a great place to visit with families they have a awesome playground .

They also have a farmers market on Saturday from 10 am to 2pm inside that is super cool.

BEST DAY EVER. I had my wedding at Ascott Parc in August in the Imperial Hall. Where do I even begin? From the moment we sat down with Valeria last year on our first tour of the venue we had an amazing feeling about this place. It’s very unassuming from the outside but the inside is modern and beautiful with tons of space, with an indoor and outdoor component. The hall was completely private to just our wedding, and the terrace was an amazing outdoor component.

Working with Ascott was the easiest, least stressful vendor we dealt with during our wedding planning process which so important because the venue is a huuuge part of the day!

Valeria was always willing to work with my fiance and I to give us the most magical day possible. Never did she ever say no and was always willing to make what we wanted happen with such an amazing attitude and willingness to help.

The food is 1000000/10. Worth what you pay for an our guests were raving about the food! Specially the short rib entree and the late night pizza.

We were able to take photos using their green space which honestly looked like a park and didn’t even feel like we were in the middle of the city.

Praveen was an amazing support on the day of the wedding, always making sure we were doing okay and if we needed anything.

I’m so so so happy we chose Ascott for our wedding. It’s absolutely a hidden gem and amazing venue for any event.

People find planning their wedding stressful, but we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience due to the amazing team at Ascott. On the wedding day the staff ran around ensuring everything was perfect no matter what the issue was they looked after it and stepped up to help out.

Val was always available to walk us through all of our concerns or questions no matter how silly they where or what day or time it was. She made the time to be part of our journey right to the end and even the days following after. She made our wedding an unforgettable and a memorable event. Ceremony was intimate, personable and heart-warming because she helped to make it so. She made us feel like we were her only clients which says a lot about her and her approach.

Parveen was AMAZING helping to coordinate everything! We ended up having a vendor who really disappointed us the day of causing some chaos but Parveen was right there to support us and make sure everything went perfectly! He is so kind and passionate about his job.

We had our wedding at Ascott Parc and it was everything we had ever hoped for. The outdoor ceremony space by the gazebo is incredibly beautiful in the summer, we keep hearing from our guests that they couldn't believe it was that nice behind the building away from the street. Praveen was an amazing help with anything we needed no matter how large or last minute of a request we had, everything we asked for was accomodated so that we could have the wedding we'd always hoped for. Big thank you also to Raj for getting our details sorted out and working with us to arrange our itinerary in the way we wanted to allowing the flexibility needed to do our wedding exactly as we chose. I would wholeheartedly recommend anyone looking for a wedding venue in the Vaughan area to seriously consider Ascott Parc for their big day.

Ascott Garden is truly a wonderful place to host such an important life event. We rented the full garden for one day in July 2025 for our wedding, and the outcome was fantastically great. The setting was beautiful, spacious, and very well maintained, which made it perfect for both our ceremony and reception.

Attended a friend’s wedding at Ascott Parc in the outdoor tent setting—beautiful atmosphere and elegant setup. The space felt magical, especially as the sun went down. The food was delicious, and the staff were polite and attentive throughout the evening. Only downside was the heat and mosquitoes, which made parts of the night a bit uncomfortable. Would definitely recommend the venue for its charm and service—just be prepared if you’re planning an outdoor event in the warmer months!

Beautiful venue and excellent service for any event like corporate or wedding. Visited here Sept 2018 for reception. Not sure if food for the International Buffet was externally catered but it was fresh and excellent. Main course food was good too. Wide variety of drinks selection.

Getting to the side entrance is a little tricky by car. Plenty of parking space in the front and side.
Can't recall if there was wheelchair entrance doors but seemed wide enough to allow.

We had our son’s wedding at Gare Viger and it was a wonderful experience! It was a beautiful venue, the food was amazing, the staff outstanding and the ambiance was perfect! A one stop shop with the reception hall offering an outdoor ceremony in the courtyard. Alex was great to work who made sure to deliver top notch service. I had very high hopes for this venue!!

I received a prompt responses to my initial inquiry and subsequent emails requesting information and confirmation of date availability for planning a 50th wedding anniversary celebration for our parents. Everything was great through to visiting the venue and meeting with Paula and her team. When I was leaving I asked the next steps to pay the deposit and secure the date. I was told to email once I confirmed with my family that we were good to go. I emailed confirmation later that evening (June 8).

It's now July 2, and after multiple emails and phone messages, I have not heard a word back from Paula. Nothing.

To say I’m disappointed is an understatement as everything about Four Sisters Farm checked all our boxes for what we were wanting for this special day.

Is it a beautiful space, yes!
Is it reasonably priced compared to other similar venues, yes!
Is the communication from the venue owner good, absolutely not!!! When planning any event no matter the size, good communication with potential and paying customers is KEY!!!

Beautiful venue! I attended a wedding here and everything was stunning—the garden, the trees and fountain created such a charming atmosphere. The service was excellent and very professional, and I loved the elegant linens and décor. I’ve been to many weddings, but this one truly felt special.

There are truly no words to describe how incredible this venue is. We had our wedding here and Riley made every single one of my visions come to life. She was attentive, kind and one of the best in the business. I truly could go on for this entire post of how amazing not only this venue is, but the staff, the aesthetic and the vibe. We recently celebrated our wedding at Graydon Hall in early September, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From our first meeting with Riley to the final moments of our big day, everything was seamless and memorable.

On Oct 19 2024, our daughter and her fiancee celebrated their wedding at the beautiful Graydon Hall Manor.

It was a morning wedding, so my husband and I arrived at the facility at 8 AM. Since minute one, we experienced a delightful service.

One of the team members spoke to us in Spanish, our native language, and offered us a cup of coffee.

Later on, Sara, from Malaga Spain, very warmly took care of my family members and me in Spanish. Sara tirelessly kept checking on us with a smile during the event.

The team member at the expresso bar did a great job as well.

The event manager also warmly approached my husband and myself to get our feedback on the service.

We very much appreciated the personalized service that we received. Thanks!

The facilities at the Graydon Hall Manor are beautiful and very well maintained. The small chapel is lovely and has a good amount of chairs.
We had the liberty of walking around to take nice pictures in the gardens.
The parking is free and has plenty of space.

All in all, it was a great experience and we absolutely recommend the Graydon Hall Manor!

Beautiful and well maintained, the steps at the entrance is what every visitor need to be cautious about..high heels and boots may be a bit worrisome at the time of winter or a rainy day... ample amount of parking and a good place to host events.

I had a good experience decorating for my customer small and simple wedding. Good communication, easy to contact anytime . Beatiful hall , big space and clean .I would recommend it for my clients .

Attended Al-Fitra elementary school iftar during Ramadan- was blown away by the atmosphere - brilliant decor, lighting and well executed event. The basement space was used for prayer allowed the upstairs setup to remain intact during the event but could use a little upgrade.

I have been using the hall of peace as an event coordinator for over a year now. I have been very happy with my experience. Whether I was hosting a wedding, any community gathering or my live performance event everything always went very well.

The staff who work here are very friendly and are have been very helpful in addressing both the needs of my clients and any event I have hosted there personally.

The main hall is beautiful with an amazing ambience and great for weddings or larger community event as I have had up to 120 guests at one time and it was still spacious.

The downstairs hall can easily fit a lil over 50 to 60 people and is great for smaller events and gatherings.

There is plenty of parking and my guests have always enjoyed the events I have been able to host here. I am very happy with my experience with this multipurpose event space and will definitely be using it again and again!

We went here for Art show last weekend, It’s a beautiful historical building with multiple rooms in main floor with solarium at the end and second floor really great setup for the show.😍will back for next event!

Heintzman House is such a beautiful and historic venue, but I feel the string lights wrapped around the front columns take away from its elegance during the day. They look a bit messy and distract from the charm of the architecture. It would look much cleaner and more impressive without the visible wires.

Our son and future daughter in law looked around for a while before closing the Heintzman House for their wedding and reception venue and we are all so happy they did. There are various understandable restrictions since it’s a very old house and in a residential neighborhood, such as no open flames and no loud music or food/drink outside. There was an on site person who was very helpful in last minute coordination with getting tables and chairs and a podium set up. There are some lovely rooms upstairs for the wedding party to use to get ready - especially nice for the bridal party. We held the ceremony outside on the patio with about 110 chairs facing an arch in front of the piano sculpture. The grounds are very nice and so the wedding party pictures could be taken right there. We had about 100 people inside for a catered reception (no cooking allowed on site) using round tables in the large room. We then were able to fairly quickly clear the room and use it for dancing the rest of the evening. Overall the house is really great for such events and I would certainly recommend it to others.

Every single year the Art Show continues to impress me with a nice collection of artists with such varied styles! Starting with the location itself it’s cozy, comfortable and inviting.I love chatting & sharing experiences with many of the artists and finding out that they also have tough moments painting! Prices are very reasonable and there are so many unusual techniques and subjects that I come away with ideas and a fresh perspective and inspiration! Love it…keep it up and I look forward to next year!

Beautiful location for hosting events! It's spacious, has a vintage feel, and picturesque location to take insta worthy shots! I just wish the location was more central, but other than that, it's an awesome place!

There is a beautiful mosaic exhibit. There are ice cream trucks, food trucks, a lot of seating picnic tables., it's a huge event. It's really worth the time to come and see it. You have to cross the little bridge to get on to the racetrack. Before the actually walking on the racetrack, you have to turn right and walk. Maybe two hundred meters then on the left hand side there's going to be stairs you cross them and then you'll be able to reach the gardens. If you want to come by bike, don't take the section to the stairs. Continue going straight and then you'll be able to cross the racetrack directly and reach the gardens from a different way. There is also paid parking. I don't know how much it is. I came by bike. The event itself is free. I recommend coming early because a lot of people are interested in seeing this . I came at 10 AM and it was pretty good. On s afridsy. But a lot of people were coming like, I passed a lot of people on the bridge coming in.

I went here to see the mosaicultures at the beginning of the month. The sculptures were beautiful. There’s also some lovely small trails around the island.

One thing to note is that this is a popular wedding site. When I was here there was 2 weddings happening and one of the parking lots was shut down. I’d recommend going early to find a parking spot if you’re going on a weekend or holiday.

Beautiful spot for a relaxing walk or picnic

This place is absolutely beautiful! There are plenty of walking trails to enjoy nature at your own pace, and many open green spaces perfect for a picnic.

The living sculptures are stunning and very well maintained — especially this one, which is breathtaking in person. It’s a peaceful place to disconnect from the city and spend quality time with family or friends.

Highly recommended for nature lovers and anyone visiting Montreal.

The sculptures are amazing! One of the few places which is free of charge. Take the bus to the Casino and it is a short walk from there via the path from the Casino. Ask the security guy inside for directions if you need. The gardens where the sculptures reside are not that large, so 1/2 hour or so is enough time for viewing.

A beautiful garden with stunning floral sculptures. The creativity and scale of the displays are incredible, making it a perfect spot for a peaceful walk and some great photos.

A few things to know if you're hosting an event here:
The venue is run by the city and they have agreements in place with a rowing club to use the facilities. You will have people in and out using the bathrooms as if they are open to public despite your having paid for the space. You can call the city office to dispute this but you will have to fight for exclusive use of the space.

There is a lot of junk hanging around the downstairs rooms. Chalkboards, drum sets, broken chairs. It will not be moved.

After 11pm, a security guard is stationed inside the venue. This is disconcerting because guests automatically assume that there is an issue. However, it is nice to have someone watching the door and you do not have to wait for someone to arrive when you're ready to leave.

If you are rentjing for more than a few hours, you will have to call the city each time you want to arrive or depart the venue. They do not give you a key. You can only access as of 9h00 - basically the same hours as Maison du Brasserie museum.

The fridge is residential not commercial. Same for the stove. You will have to turn on the bar fridges upstairs when you arrive so that they chill before your event, otherwise prepare for warm drinks.

The views and access to the canal boardwalk are amazing. The stone walls make for beautiful photo backdrops and the 2nd floor terrace is a great feature.

Lovely lake shore view. Clean, airy and has a nice secure balcony. Great venue for medium or small conferences

Went to a wedding here in September and the place was spectacular. The old vintage look the building has updated by modern decor inside made the place very cozy and enjoyable . Not sure if the staff is always the same however if so they were on point and very welcoming . I would highly recommend this place for someone looking for a wedding or just to rent out for corporate occasions etc .

Historic building by the water. Great for intimate wedding/gatherings. Small kitchen for caterers. The parking lot is public and can not be reserved for private functions.

We recently had a wedding at Lago and it was everything we wanted and more!

From the very beginning Gyneya and her staff were amazing. They are very detail oriented and do everything in their power to take all the stress off of you and onto them. Your wedding is their priority and they want your vision to come to life. Their pricing is very fair and transparent.

We were in the Vista room (upstairs) with around 80 guests and it was the perfect size. The dance floor was able to be open all night and no tables needed to be moved after dinner.

The food is phenomenal! Many of our guests made specific points to us on how great the food was. And as a bonus the portion sizes are large too!

I used to work for a catering company as a server for weddings and have been to many venues. I can say this is the best venue I've ever been to and cannot recommend it enough!

The cheesecake is also out of this world!! We had a handful of guests make the point to let us know it was the best cheesecake they ever had.

If you're still reading this, stop! And book your date already before it's booked up.

We held our wedding reception at Lago this past spring, and it was exactly what we had prayed for. The space was inviting and well-organized, with a sensible layout that worked well for our guests. We especially appreciated its interior industrial design and beautiful views of Dow’s Lake.

Planning with Gyneya and her team — including Kayly, Kim, and others — made all the difference. They were welcoming, efficient, and generous. Even during our reception, Lago’s staff members were incredibly kind, considerate, and accommodating, all of which contributed to a smooth and enjoyable evening.

The food was excellent — fresh, well-seasoned, and beautifully plated. Our guests' favorite dishes included the fried halloumi cheese skewer hors d'oeuvres, the heirloom tomato salad appetizer, and the braised beef short rib entrée. Gyneya and her team were very flexible with our dietary requests. Service throughout the night was attentive and well-paced.

We're so pleased to have chosen Lago for our wedding reception and would confidently recommend it to any engaged couple looking for a great planning experience and a memorable wedding celebration!

My Daughter got married there last night and it was perfect. The venue was just the right size for the event, we had the service first and while the family left for pictures, the staff set up for appetizers and dinner. Appetizers were a selection of deep fried cheese sticks and spring rolls etc. they were all done perfectly and sauces were delicious. Dinner did not disappoint either, there was a choice of salmon, strip loin steak or risotto. They again were perfect. Crème Brûlée was the finishing touch and was spot on. The staff and the facility was so polite and polished I couldn’t say enough about them. Gyneya coordinated a fabulous evening. As for the room itself, the lighting was beautiful and a perfect backdrop was a warm evening on Dow’s lake. I hope this doesn’t come across as AI because it was real and for our Daughter and Son-in-Law it was perfect. Thank you.

Amazing wedding venue! Staff were amazing all night :) Food was delicious. It’s nice that it’s on the water so you can hangout outside if you want as well.

My husband and I got married here last month. This place is a hidden gem in my opinion. You get a whole wedding package, amazing food choices, and the staff goes through the whole planning process and schedule with you. You bring your own decorations but they set everything up for you. It’s also so affordable compared to other venues. They made the whole experience easy.

We recently had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at Mont Blanc Reception Hall, and it genuinely felt like a hidden treasure! From the moment we stepped inside, the warm atmosphere and distinctive charm of the venue drew me in. Food was good, first floor salon was very small and extremely hot, Parking a bit away (end of the street). service not five star asI was drinking my wine and sudenly the guy came and pick my glass cuz he wanted to empty the table. Samething happened to my appetizer dish.

The old church architecture creates such a unique and serene atmosphere and intricate details. A blend of the classic aesthetic with modern salon amenities is perfection.

Booking this venue for our wedding was the best decision we ever made. We’ve seen weddings at many locations in Montreal and surrounding areas including la Maison Principale, the Ritz, Sugar Shacks and others. We took a gamble by booking the Salon as we had never seen a wedding there, but that was a bit of the appeal. We wanted something special and unique. In order of priority for us, here are our highlights.

Where to begin with the food! Be it the cocktail period, the main dish or the dessert table, everything was phenomenal. Quality AND quantity were amazing (and I have Egyptian parents who won’t shy away from complaining about food)! We never had a fish option at a wedding with so much richness that it held itself against the filet mignon in terms of quality and flavour (we served the Miso Cod). On top of all that, we had many guests with severe allergies and they all came to tell us how this was one of the first weddings where they didn’t get an allergic reaction proving the quality and organization of their kitchen.

Talking about organization, Danielle (the venue’s owner) and Emilie (the included wedding planner) were both amazing at giving us the guidance we needed to make our day perfect specifically for us. Danielle was mostly there in the big picture planning and Emilie on the week/day of. Because the day of the wedding is so important, Emilie was the highlight. No need for another wedding planner, she’s the real deal. Organizing the timing of the ceremony (which we did on site), moving things along, coordinating with the vendors, remembering little details, fixing bumps in the road and going out of her way to get someone to pick up our midnight meal from McDonalds, she did it all with the utmost skill! We couldn’t tell her thank you enough!

Last point to highlight, which initially wasn’t so important, but was highlighted by so many of our guest was the lights and sound in the hall. The lighting changed throughout the night and was always beautifully adjusted to set the right mood. The stereo system was never too loud to make you feel uncomfortable, but was heard all across the room. The speeches were so crisp that recordings of it on iPhones were perfectly understood (something rarely seen). Our DJ hooked up to their system and the rest was easy.

I could go on, but really I’m not including negative points as my wife and I couldn’t think of any! This was truly a magical day made extra special by the amount of quality work that The Salon Richmond team put into it. Thank you to everyone!!

I would highly recommend this hall for any event. Le Salon Richmond is breathtaking. The lighting, sound & overall ambiance are among the best I've seen in Montreal. It's also a nice feature that the lighting is adjustable throughout the event. I was hired independently to film a corporate event and I witnessed the guests visibly enjoying themselves. Their team felt professional & I also felt that the staff was present for the guests' needs. The bar service was in demand all night and they delivered. Also has a nice stage. Great building for a wedding.

Beautiful old church that will have you feeling like you entered a party in Blade. Spacious place to host private events like company parties.

This space is so beautiful, peaceful and the sound, accoustics travel well throughout the space. I really enjoyed my experience here and am looking forward to returning. I would definitely consider renting the space for a big event.

We had the pleasure of having our wedding at Liberty Grand in the Centennial Room this past June and we have nothing but great things to say.

From planning to event execution, everything was perfect. Eleni assisted us with coordination and was always quick to respond if we had any questions.

Our guests really enjoyed the food and service from the staff. We had both bars opened during our wedding with no drink lines which was amazing. Thank you so much to everyone at Liberty Grand that made our day perfect :)

This is a beautiful and elegant venue. It's perfect for a special event or celebration. The food was delicious, fresh, and served in just the right portions. I especially appreciated the late night snack table with ice cream and burgers, which was a fun and thoughtful touch.

The staff were very good. They were professional and attentive throughout the event. Our parking was covered by the bride and groom, but otherwise, it is paid parking, so that’s something to be aware of.

There were a few downsides worth mentioning. The bar is located outside of the hall, which led to many guests gathering around it and lingering outside rather than enjoying the event inside. Accessibility is another concern. There's only one accessible washroom on the main floor, located outside the hall, while the rest are down a flight of stairs. Another con is that the bridal suite is also located downstairs. It’s a small room with just a closet and isn’t the most comfortable or convenient space for a bride to get ready or relax.

Overall, it’s a lovely venue with great food and service, but a few layout and accessibility issues should be considered.

I attended a wedding here recently. The service is efficient and the staff are friendly. The outdoor courtyard for the ceremony is gorgeous.

The food was delicious but the fish option could have offered more in terms of sides (very small portion of vegetables).

As for the bar, it was nice but it would have been better to have more of the basics offered like sparkling wine, fresh lime juice, and they ran out of lime wedges etc.!

Overall a great spot!

We are beyond happy and grateful that we decided to book our wedding reception at Liberty Grand. Everyone we met and worked with, were incredibly helpful and kind. They made our dream wedding come true. From answering our many questions when we first booked the venue, to the well coordinated food tasting, to their ability to organize everything just how we wanted, they have been a pleasure to work with. Olga, was so approachable and understanding and Eleni, was quick to respond and organize. We were extremely happy with the food and received many compliments from our guests. The sound and lighting was excellent. 10/10 would recommend booking Liberty Grand for your wedding.

I found this area to be equally stunning but less crowded than High Park to view the cherry blossoms. I didn't go inside.

This was a very nice museum, but definitely overshadowed by Heritage Park.
The staff were very friendly, and the house itself was well cared for.
There was a great number of historic artifacts in the museum, and the front terraced lawn is very beautiful.

We liked this place, especially interiors, which is so beautiful with antique furniture telling the stories of how people were living back then there is also a history of the Logheed family. I was really inspired by her wife personality. Great venue for small event or date night.

I love this museum. I really have a good time knowing about the history of Alberta. I went there during Christmas, however the staff said depending of the season they change the decoration. The museum has a small vintage shop where you can get some sourvenirs

Constructed in 1891, this grand sandstone mansion was originally the residence of Senator James Alexander Lougheed and his wife, Isabella Clarke Hardisty Lougheed. The house stands as a testament to Calgary's rich history and architectural heritage.

My clients (Wedding Coordinator) hosted their wedding here last Friday and this was my team’s first experience working with Madison Greenhouse.

My lead coordinator, Chelsea, worked with the venue the month before the wedding making sure all details were in place and confirmed. On the day the venue staff were wonderful and helped smooth out any wrinkles that happened over the course of the day.

It really is a beautiful venue and we really loved the layout (all the spaces are close to each other which makes things easier for guests and for vendors). It is a greenhouse so it gets hot during the summer months. It is doable but I would advise adding the big industrial fans into the room and choosing a late ceremony. I would also recommend letting guests know that it could be hot and to dress accordingly.

The bridal suites do have air conditioning units but the rest of the building is without air (something to keep in mind for planning purposes!).

That said, this is a picturesque venue and definitely worth booking if you love being surrounded by greenery!

We had the pleasure of DJing a wedding at Madison Greenhouse last weekend and it was an incredible experience from start to finish!

The space is truly one-of-a-kind, filled with lush greenery, vibrant florals, and even an indoor waterfall. It creates such a unique atmosphere for both guests and vendors. We especially loved the DJ booth covered in greenery! Such a creative touch that made this one of our fave spots to play this year.

The staff and management team were professional, accommodating, and so easy to work with. A special shout out to the management for making everything seamless on our end.

Attended my cousin’s wedding here and it was absolutely beautiful! The venue was spacious and well laid out, with a perfect-sized dance floor and a great bar area.

There were also change rooms available for the bridesmaids and groomsmen, which was such a thoughtful touch. The bathrooms were clean and easily accessible, and overall, the space was just perfect for a large celebration.

Such a wonderful venue for a wedding or any special event!

Pooja was absolutely incredible to work with. We planned our wedding at the Madison Green House on very short notice, and everything went smoothly thanks to her support and expertise. From start to finish, she was professional, patient, and incredibly understanding of our needs. She listened carefully to our vision, offered thoughtful suggestions, and helped us stay calm during what could have been a stressful time. Her attention to detail and warm, friendly attitude made the entire experience so much more enjoyable. We truly couldn’t have done it without her and are so grateful for her guidance and dedication.

We had Wedding/Reception at Magnolia Banquet Hall! It was a full crowd that was amazed all night long with the design, the service, the food, and special attention to detail that was given. Magnolia Banquet Hall ownership, management and staff are nothing short of amazing! Their service is above and beyond what is expected. Even though our party was as organized as can be, it would not have been the same if we had chosen any other location. Magnolia Banquet Hall helped make our wedding the best event so far! We will definitely be referring all of our friends and family and be returning for all of our future events!

We recently had our daughter’s wedding at the Magnolia Banquet Hall. Just wanted to say that everything from start to finish was first class. We asked Jimmy (Manager/Event Co-ordinator) to do “family style” meal – this is where all the food is served on each table. As we wanted an Indian catering menu, mixed with some Arab style food, this was not an easy request – especially with 350 guests!

We had a few meetings with Jimmy before the event and he took care of everything from the timing, catering and to coordinating with the decorators. Our decorators had great cooperation from Jimmy and his team, and when we arrived at the hall before the wedding started, everything looked amazing. We also liaised with the DJ – who was great to work with and was very experienced.

The food turned out even better than it was at the food tasting. So many of our guests complimented us on how great the food was, and how much they loved the hot appetizer station during the cocktail hour (see photos.) The kitchen timed everything exactly to our agenda and as soon as the speeches were complete, the food was being served on the tables.

This was the first time that Jimmy had done “family style” service and it was truly amazing and beyond our expectations. The food arrived hot at each table and it looked like there was 1 server for every 2 tables. The food arrived promptly, and our guests were very impressed with this service. (It sure beats lining up at a buffet station, especially for 350 people.) All of our guests were impressed, and we were extremely happy that we used the Magnolia Hall for our daughters wedding. I would recommend them in a heart beat. Thank you to Jimmy and his amazing team.

They canceled my order 4 days before the event I was organizing, I had to go with a competitor at the last minute. Lack of professionalism, very poor service. I do not recommend them.

We had our wedding here and it was everything we dreamed of and more. We feel incredibly lucky and honoured to have celebrated our wedding this past Saturday at the beautiful Palais Royale. We booked our date nearly two years in advance, after touring the venue with Christine. We left that appointment feeling something truly special and knew that this was where we wanted to get married.

Throughout the two years of planning, Christine was an absolute dream to work with. She responded quickly to any questions we had, offered suggestions and advice, and consistently kept both of us excited about the entire experience. We never second guessed our decision. Each time we visited the venue for a meeting, tasting, or walkthrough, our excitement only grew.

On the wedding day, the service from the entire team was exceptional. We were genuinely blown away by every single staff member. Many of our guests told us it was one of the best weddings they had ever attended, thanks to the five star food and outstanding service. Even now, we still feel like we’re floating on a cloud.

We had our wedding in summer 2025 and we could not be happier with our decision with Palais Royale as our venue. From the beginning of the planning process to the end of the wedding day celebration, the service provided by Palais Royale was incredible. Their team, led by our in-house coordinator April Chu, worked with us to bring our vision to life. For example, we wanted an Asian-fusion menu for dinner that wasn't part of their standard offering and the head chef personally sat with us to work through a variety of meal options without any upcharges.

Throughout the process, April was in consistent communication with us. She made sure we were informed of key decisions and deadlines in a timely manner. She offered input and advice based on her experience that proved to be very valuable. On the day of the wedding, the entire Palais Team made us feel confident that everything was going to be executed flawlessly.

The Palais Royale is truly a stunning venue, and we chose to do everything on our wedding day there - getting ready, wedding party photos, ceremony, and reception. We decided on this as there were so many picturesque spots at not just the venue, but the surrounding area as well.

We are so happy with how everything turned out. Our guests had so many compliments on the service they received from the staff, as well as how beautiful venue was. The Palais Royale team are true professionals and really take great care in the way they treat their clients.
