We had the most amazing experience working with Abigail for our wedding florals. She created a vision board for us that was exactly what we wanted. She brought our ideas to life perfectly. She even assembled all of my centrepieces for me so that I didn’t have to worry about it. The florals were in amazing condition when we picked them up the day before and we received so many compliments on them. Her pricing is more than fair and she honestly could (and should!) charge more for her florals and services because wow you won’t find this quality anywhere else! Thank you again!

A very good example of a product and service that is even more stunning in real life than in the photos. Ordered an arrangement for Valentine’s Day, photos on the website looked amazing (as they do), but I’ve ordered from enough places online that what arrives at the door isn’t as impressive as what was advertised. Boy was I surprised when they dropped off the arrangement. Breathtaking and made our house smell like a garden. Highly recommend getting your flowers from Birds of Paradise, I’ll be coming back regularly.

I'm beyond thrilled that a new flower shop has opened up just down the street from us on 17th Ave! BOP is an absolute gem. The moment you walk in, you're greeted with stunning and unique floral arrangements that are truly works of art. The space is beautifully curated—super accessible and not overwhelming like some other flower shops that cram too many plants into a small space.

What really sets BOP apart is how welcoming it is. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and down to earth, making the experience anything but intimidating. You can tell they have a true passion for what they do, and it shows in every detail. This is, without a doubt, the cutest flower shop I've ever been to, and I can't wait to come back again and again!

Wow! I am so happy I found Dazzle Basket! Calgary based and the customer service is amazing. I ordered last minute to send to the hotel some guests are staying at and without any problem at all it was done and delivered within hours. They were great about putting in some substitutions for things that needed to be better for them to have in a hotel room. 100% recommended, what a lovely experience!! After submitting my order, it looks like my note changed a heart symbol into a question mark so I called the shop to see if they were able to change it. They ended up reprinting the note for me and hand-drawing a cute little red heart in the note. They also sent a photo and video of the completed bouquet before it's sent off, which is so appreciated. Normally you don't know what the flowers look like until the recipients get them. The flowers were so beautiful and looked very fresh. Amazing customer service. They were super nice and understanding of me when I was explaining what I wanted in a custom bouquet, and even took the effort to go above and beyond to add chocolates to the bouquet upon my request. Masha was incredibly helpful and caring when preparing sympathy and funeral flower arrangements for a funeral in our family. She was able to source rare calla lilies on a rush notice and created the most beautiful arrangements. Everything was done with so much love and attention to detail. Our family is deeply grateful for the beautiful florals and a pleasant experience during a difficult time.

This company was AWESOME! I customized a gift for my father and they were so patient and helpful to make it just right for his tastes and my budget. The basket turned out beautiful, the products were all delicious, and they even threw in a couple surprise chocolate treats free. The delivery was included in the price making it unbeatable and they also delivered it on a Sunday which few companies do. The customer service was phenomenal! I’ve been using a national gift basket service, but NEVER AGAIN!! This is the ONLY place I will use from now on, as I send gifts to my family from California often. We had a wonderful trip. Shelly Neal did an impressive booklet to go along with our recent cruise so we knew exactly what to expect on board and at port each day. She did our pre trip hotel stay, had our luggage taken to the ship and everything just fit into place from our parking spot to our excursions at port. Anita at Kalidescope travel was so helpful. We wanted to experience a stay at an over water bungalow resort. Anita’s suggestion and attention to what we wanted was right on. Our view was magical from our bungalow and the resort and staff were amazing.

The trip was fantastic! The condo was amazing with the most spectacular views. We could see whales and sea turtles from our balcony! I loved the area we were in and the beach access from our condo! The sunsets were breath taking each night! All travel and flights worked very well.

Kara is one of the kindest people I have ever met. She listens to you when you tell her what you want for your hair, and will do everything possible to ensure she gives you the exact colour/cut/style you want. Kara is amazing at making you feel welcomed and comfortable in the salon. You always leave feeling absolutely beautiful and confident.

I have seen florists in Centretown charge absurd amounts of money for three sad little flowers and a leaf, so I did a lot of research before coming here.

My budget was $50, I described my colour specifications, and the owner created an impossibly gorgeous bouquet: bird of paradise, yellow rose, sunflower, Gerbera daisies, beautiful shapes. The shop has such a comfortable air inside and out. I will never go anywhere else for flowers in Ottawa!

Absolutely beautiful flowers and even nicer people! I highly highly recommend this fabulous floral shop for the flowers and the service.
This is the second time our family has ordered a floral arrangement for my Mom and both arrangements have been stunning. The owners (a mom and son ) went above and beyond adding special touches - little bird sitting amongst the flowers and extra flowers and fillers just because, and even the message card is special (you give them the message and they print it out in lovely scripted font and attached to a card of your choice).
The service I received was stellar - what was my budget, what flowers would I prefer (they also gave recommendations for “long lasting cut flowers”), what colour of flowers does my Mom like, which message card would best suit my Mom, and then a photo of the arrangement was texted to me for my approval before delivery!
And here’s the proof! The arrangement with the pale yellow rose was for Easter (some flowers lasted almost 2 weeks) and the other with the deep pink rose was delivered today for my Mom’s 91st birthday. Beautiful 💖

They were the most incredible vendors to deal with for our wedding! Had to leave a review for this- I had an amazing experience ordering from Pellatt. At the last minute, I had to request that my gift order be re-routed at and they responded to me immediately, after-hours (!), to start working on it. They were able to get the courier company to change the delivery just in time. This is a small business run by real people who care and provided excellent customer service. I will definitely order from Pellatt again!

Ordered the cookie basket for some close friends and they absolutely loved the basket! I ordered from Switzerland to send a gift basket to a friend who was in Canada for a short study assignment. Pellat Cornucopia was terrific in helping with the delivery and when we thought the basket was stolen. They quickly offered to stand another one. Luckily a kind person kept the original basket and delivered it to my friend a few days later. So no need for Pellat Cornucopia to deliver another basket. Absolutely OBSESSED with the many aspects of plants, flowers, and lifestyle this special shop boasts. I participated in a floral eco dyeing and bouquet making workshop with Meaghan and Susan and wish I could give 10 stars for the experience. Also, my garden thrived this year due to recommendations for natural fertilizers & additives (worm castings, Gaia Greens) from the Botanist. As well, the fresh starter plants (marigolds, many herbs) all transplanted so well. Can’t say enough good about this local gem.

This store of full of charm! It is small but so many things to see and explore. I got most of my conversation piece plant from this store. What set this place apart from other small business plant store are the staff and the owner.
I specifically asked if it's possible is she can order a specific flower for me, anemones, and she did. I love that they're an online and in-store type business. I can check online or message them on social media to check what they have. It saves me time. I LOVE that I can reply on their IG story and asked to reserved something for me. ❤️

Cute little store. I was looking for another plant but saw the carnivorous plants at the front door, bought them on a whim. No experience growing them and I was confident they'd perish quick but was told to check out a specific youtube channel and it has been invaluable. Would be cool to see more varieties of these very interesting plants.

The beautiful Australian tree fern just arrived today in kitchener all the way from Calgary, after been in transit for a week, they are very healthy, and were very well wrapped up delicately for shipping.
