Such a nice surprise getting gifted this beautiful basket from family via The Gift Designers. Lots of variety of items all themed around bbq (even the basket itself is a grilling basket for veggies which is super creative!!). Love that they also support a lot of local brands. Great experience with delivery too!!

The experience as a gift receiver was wonderful. I got a text the day before asking me to phone them to confirm I would be home for the delivery the next day. The delivery arrived on time and was lovely. I liked the selection of fresh fruit and treats, that the filler material is shredded paper I can compost, and that the basket is of high quality.

The gift was packaged beautifully with high quality products that ranged from sweet to salty treats! The delivery service, not a general delivery service but company vehicle with excellent driver service) detailed and thoughtful to ensure the quality of the products would not be damaged due to the elects (hot/sunny).

This flower shop was great to deal with and very accommodating with last minute changes! Very impressed and pleased with the arrangement! The flowers are beautiful. Will be ordering again from this flower shop.

This order did not go as planned.

This arrangement was for my parents would be 50th wedding anniversary (which Dad is no longer with us). This doesn't look like an anniversary arrangement with the pink flowers (which were not the colour requested) but more of a Valentine/birthday arrangement.

Paid $320 with tax, and did not get the delivery as described, nor the arrangement as I ordered and requested.

1. The delivery was not as scheduled. I asked for 12:30-1:00 p.m., and they delivered it right after we left to go and pick up lunch at 11:00 a.m., neighbour next door brought it over to us once we got home.

2. The foil balloon was deflated from the cold. Possibly sitting outside and/or the delivery van too long.

3. The vase did not look like a teardrop, it was filled to brim with water making it very difficult to lift carry without spilling on living room floor and clothing.

4. The flowers were not as described - I asked for them not to be open but closed the majority were open with one of the colours pink, which I asked for peach, blush or champagne (ivory/white) we didn't ask for pink.

5. The vase was to have a big blue ribbon it did not.

Have purchased many orders over the years and it looks like they were so quick to put it together the baby's breath is all clumped together, the yellow roses all in one spot.

Order went from 5-star down to 1-star based on all the points noted.

Beaudry Flowers absolutely transformed our wedding at The River Lounge with their stunning floral designs! The centerpieces, card table, arch behind our sweetheart table, and the bouquets and boutonnieres were simply beautiful and far exceeded our expectations. During wedding planning, of all my vendors, Beaudry had the most difficult part of making my vision a reality. Adding to the difficulty was that I lived in a different province, so everything had to be done remotely: I needed a faux floral installations to go on these beautiful but tall cathedral windows, which innately made it a logistical challenge, but in the end, it all came together like a dream.

Their faux florals are quality, and installment + takedown were neat and orderly without any damage to the structure itself. Beaudry worked with me back and forth over lengthy but patient email exchanges, always taking my feedback and being able to build on it, and their part was so foundational to the aesthetic that I was trying to pull off. They had the artistry and expertise to match my vision and in the end, the canvas of the venue that they worked on became a work of art.

Rosie is genuinely the loveliest, and she’s an incredibly talented artist. I had my wedding flowers framed and they were so beautiful, and then heartbreaking - the nail we’d hung the frame from fell out of the wall and the frame crashed to the ground. Rosie got me in immediately to repair and entirely remake the frame - which I love even more now! We also ordered some floral ornaments with our wedding flowers as gifts for our family, and they loved them (my grandma cried).

Rosie did an amazing job preserving my wedding bouquet. I am so happy with the final result and the whole process was smooth from the initial booking to final pick-up. Definitely recommend Bouquet & Frame for floral preservation!

Best decision ever!! I absolutely love my pressed bouquet frame, it turned out so wonderful, and I love how vibrant the blues and purples stayed even when dried! Rosie is so amazing, talented and was very accommodating and helpful throughout the whole process. I wanted to make sure the blue orchids in my bouquet were at the front since those are special flowers to my husband and I, and she took that and any other notes into consideration when making it. Also she texts you a mock up after it’s made, to get your thoughts on if you want anything changed or not! Highly recommend!

Short version: My sister and I both had issues with this florist at our weddings - two years apart. I paid a lot of money and did not get the flowers I wanted. Some issues in the delivery I received were later resolved, others were not and this was the cause of major stress on the morning of my wedding. No compensation was offered at all.

Long version: My sister was married a couple of years before me and used this florist. On her wedding day, the order she received was incorrect - it was missing a toss bouquet that she had paid for. If she hadn’t been the one to answer the door on her wedding morning, she wouldn’t have noticed until it was too late. However, since she answered the door while getting ready on the morning of her wedding, she caught the mistake, called and had a toss bouquet created and delivered. Since her issue was resolved and the flowers were pretty I wrote that off as just a one-off mistake and decided to use the florist for my wedding in 2023.

Unfortunately, when I received my flowers on my wedding day I was hugely disappointed. I made sure to answer the door like my sister had, just in case and thank goodness for that. I had requested a mix of white and pink flowers. In the weeks before the wedding, I had emphasized what kind and size of pink flowers I wanted for my wedding. I even had follow up emails with swatches of the bridesmaid dresses clarifying that I wanted it to be a darker pink than the typical bridal blush. The florist said that she was confident it would match. She offered for me to come in and see for myself, but in the chaos of wedding planning I decided to trust her since my sister's flowers were good. Then, the day of my wedding, the flowers I received had NO pink WHATSOEVER in them. They looked white and yellow/beige. My sister came to the door with me, waited for me to say it and then said she hadn’t wanted to stress me out but saw there was no pink and that this was not what I asked for. I called to get the arrangements fixed and was told that this is always what the florist makes for blush weddings (recall I had specifically clarified that it was a darker pink that I wanted) and that they never have large pink roses. A florist who never has large pink roses ? She also said that I had agreed to this. I was mid makeup on the morning of my wedding and trying my best not to cry as this florist blamed me for her mess-up of my bouquets. She said she could throw in some pink spray roses and did. This helped but I ended up with flowers different than what I had agreed on, and for over $1000 of flowers, I was hugely disappointed.

The boutonnières that were delivered also were incorrect, not matching the specifications I laid out which included which flowers to use to differentiate between the groom’s vs others’ boutonnières. This was resolved after I called about that error, but again added stress and interrupted my wedding morning.

Another issue is that I asked for two “tiny” flowers to be tucked in the back of my bouquet to commemorate loved ones who have passed away. Instead there were two large roses (somehow yellow and purple large roses exist but not pink ones) that were visible in most of my wedding photos, interrupting the colour scheme I was aiming for. Missing the focal ballet pink colour of my wedding was way too important to bother asking for that change too but that was another disappointment.

I was never offered any compensation, just blamed by the florist for her mistakes saying I agreed to the flowers when she had said she was confident they would match my colour scheme during the pre- wedding consultations.

On my wedding day and after, if guests asked if everything went off without a hitch on the big day, my answer was (and still is one and a half years later) everything was perfect, except the flowers.

My advice: use Loblaws instead. I used Loblaws the flowers in the church and got exactly what I wanted. A fraction of the price and accurate product delivered. Unless you are willing to pay a lot of money to be disappointed, do not use this florist.

We had the pleasure of having Capital Florists provide the flowers for our wedding day, and they were absolutely lovely to work with! From our first conversations they took into account our preferences for style and florals, and when they presented some initial plans they were subsequently great about tweaking and suggesting alternatives to get everything within our budget. On the day of the wedding they were on time and on the ball about setup and our florals, including table settings and a stunning arch, were all absolutely perfect. The bridal bouquet and bridesmaids' bouquets were even more stunning than we originally envisioned. And finally, Jesslyn and Falynn were also the most trusted confidants and joys to work with over Zoom and in person at our design meetings. I could not recommend her and the Sage team enough.

As a Wedding Planner I have worked with Sage Designs several times! My couples appreciate their meticulous attention in client meetings and thoroughness in their quotes and proposal. It helps them visualize exactly what to expect on their wedding day. They also like being able to come in studio (if they are local!) to come to a confirmation design meeting to make any tweaks or changes. They can also work with almost all budgets to find something that fits a clients vision but also is able to stay within their budget parameters, but I also like that the include a part where couples can still "consider" options to add on later if they like! Excellent service — welcoming and knowledgeable florists with a “can do” attitude. Less than a week before my daughter’s wedding, we had to scramble to find a florist to help with a large arrangement and a six foot garland. Scrims was more than willing to help. The arrangements were stunning. A week later, many of the flowers were still beautiful.

I stopped by today to pick out a couple of plants for my office space. I have a North-facing window, so the lovely sales associate (whose name I *should* have requested but forgot to) helped me with some lower light options. I am thrilled with the beautiful pothos she helped me pick out, as well as the hardy little snake plant. On top of the incredible quality of their product, they offer fair prices. The BEST place to purchases plants from locally! I walk by Scrim’s everyday and the plants in their window are always so full and beautiful. I decided to take the plunge and purchase 3 new plants and two pots for my jungle. The plants were so FULL and even had a bunch of new baby leaves getting ready. I was very surprised for the price of the plants how full they were. I will definitely be back soon to purchase more plants!!

My favourite florist in the city! I've gotten lots of my amazing plants from them and I love how they are always super helpful with questions and if you need any help with your plant care after your purchase they are always there for you. Amazing selection and great quality.

Great selection of plants and pots. Occasionally has some very unique plants that are difficult to find in Ottawa. Also has some unique planters. I find the prices slightly high for plants/pots, but given it is spacious and in the core, I totally understand.

Such a fantastic environment and their newly renovated space is superb too! Truly a gem of strathmore.

Forever grateful that I called Michel from W Flowers Ottawa when it came to a floral arrangement for my dad’s funeral. I only ordered a day before the service and the flowers were delivered before I even got to the funeral home myself. Online it was shown with only red flowers but Michel customized it to our liking and helped me decide on the ribbon. I can’t thank you enough for this beautiful arrangement, I know my dad loved them so much too.

Absolutely my favourite place to get flowers for my partner. The owner is a lovely human and gave me history on where the flowers I bought came from which was nice. I love the feel of this floral shop too. They took extra care packaging my roses which is awesome too. I like when people pay attention to detail on things like this.

We ordered 2 baskets for 2 different baby showers and when we saw them they were beyond what we expected. It can be customized to your liking making it special and unique at an excellent price.

Quick story. My parents sent me a gift basket for my birthday, which arrived on time and was a great surprise. However I realized after several days that some minor mistake was made with the order. When talking to the owner , Alex(Sasha) he sincerely appologized for the mistake and said he will reimburse my parents and will send me a new basket instead. I was pleasantly surprised by this gesture. This week Sasha delivered new gift basket to my building and I was amazed (see the photo). Sorry I couldn't answer your phone Sasha I was working, I decided to write a review instead. You customer centric approach are commendable; thank you for taking the time and for your kind words.

The Celebration Basket I purchased was a delight and a very reasonable price - the champagne was shockingly good as the stock option without upgrading it. I expected it to be the cheapest possible filler but it was a limited product that I would buy for myself again.

The presentation and cellophane wrapping were very well done and made for a good presentation but didn't fall apart.

Customer service was very helpful - I forgot to put an add-on to the package I wanted delivered and it was quickly and easily resolved with a call and no further issue on my end.

Next day shipping for only $15 was very reasonable and a lifesaver for me (it was the cheapest that I found when comparing among multiple stores).

All in all, I am very happy with my purchase and intend to use BB Baskets again!

The last basket I ordered was for a friend who only eats Gluten Free food and she told me it was an fabulous selection. This flower shop does amazing bouquets and their flowers last a very long time. The first picture is the day we received them for my late brother's Celebration of Life. The second picture is taken 9 days later, so you can see how fresh they are, some of the flowers are gone, but there are still an amazing number of flowers that still look fresh and beautiful. I would always order from this flower shop, you won't be disappointed. :) Sorry the pictures aren't better quality.

We had a private event with Bonavista Flowers, it was a lot of fun. The ladies running the class were very helpful every step of the way and everyone’s wreaths turned out amazing even though we were all first timers!
