I ordered a “Happy Birthday Delicious Fruit Design” (Large) through the Edible Arrangements website on September 19, and it was fulfilled by the store at 140 Adelaide Street East, Toronto. The recipient received the arrangement the next day.

When they opened the gift, they were shocked to find that several of the strawberries were moldy, and there was even a live insect crawling on the fruit. This is not only incredibly disappointing but also a serious food safety concern. A gift like this is meant to be fresh, safe, and enjoyable, and this experience fell far short of that standard.

I hope Edible Arrangements takes this situation seriously and ensures proper quality control at this location. This is not acceptable in any way, and steps should be taken so that no one else has to experience this, especially when sending gifts meant to celebrate a special occasion.

The chocolate covered strawberries are my favorite. I got a free box sent to my email. Easy process. called first to make sure the code was valid. Cute lil birthday treat

FOR SEVENTY DOLLARS. The cheapest black chocolate you could ever find, barely covered and handled without care. The photo speaks for itself. Check the google reviews prior because it was Uber Eats sponsored.

Worst experience ..

I had to call for delivery update at 1:30 and was advised we don't have a driver .  Then to be told we would be sending it by uber .  1 hr late.

Followed by a call 30 min later to say sorry no driver pls cancel or pick up your order. I'm 1.5 hrs away, it was to be there for an event at 1:00.

I had it picked up when received , it was a Sml version of what I paid for. Ordered large received sml , then was told they ran out of large bases.

Do not deal with these scammers

Zero rating. Unacceptable and deeply disrespectful — Bloomex should not be trusted with important occasions.

I am absolutely appalled by my experience with this company. I ordered the Peaceful White Lilies funeral arrangement—something elegant and appropriate to honor a loved one—and what was delivered was nothing like what I selected. The arrangement sent was not only incorrect, but entirely unsuitable for a funeral. It was an embarrassing, thoughtless mess.

I spoke with a representative named Alex, gave clear instructions, and chose from their own catalog. Despite that, they failed to deliver the correct arrangement—at a time when getting it right mattered most.
What makes this worse is that after reading other reviews, it’s clear that this isn’t an isolated incident. Bloomex has a disturbing pattern of sending incorrect or subpar arrangements. That’s not just bad service—it’s unethical.

They broke the trust I placed in them during an already painful time. Instead of delivering a respectful gesture of sympathy, they caused even more distress. I have demanded a full refund and an explanation, but honestly, no apology or refund can undo the damage done.

I strongly urge others to think twice before using this service. If you’re sending flowers for a significant occasion, especially something as sensitive as a funeral, go elsewhere.

Would give negative stars if I could!! I ordered the deluxe birthday bouquet and received the most disappointing arrangement. I made my order over the phone to ensure that the flowers I was receiving would be very similar to the online bouquet. The employee told me to get the deluxe in order to so so I did. $85 and what a huge waste of money. I ended up going to Sobeys and making my own arrangement for 1/4 of the price. I reached out to customer service and have not heard back since. Will not be going back ever again!! The ugliest flowers I’ve truly ever seen for the cost and not at all like the picture entailed.

I ordered a deluxe birthday Bouquet. What I got was a cup with their logo on it a bear with a shirt with their logo and what looks to be the regular bouquet. The balloon and chocolate were fine. I emailed them to complain and was offered store credit. I accepted the offer. Once I had accepted the offer, I received an email saying that my store credit was being processed. Then I got an email saying that my order was updated. I have not received any store credit. I went into do an order and see what my credit was. There was no credit and all I’m getting is emails to finish my order to get free shipping and a box of free truffles. I’m very unhappy with this whole experience. I will not use this services again.
**UPDATE** I got a store credit of $54.99. This store credit didn’t include the delivery fee. I lost $18.99 from this. When I tried to use the credit it didn’t cover the new delivery fee. I called to do pick up order instead. They don’t have that as an option. This flower place is not worth the hassle.

Don’t waste your time or money. Place an order, and brace yourself — what shows up will likely be nothing like what you actually chose. I got a completely different arrangement, even the card was wrong. When I pointed it out, they hid behind a so-called "substitution policy," claiming it “only happens 1.5% of the time.” That’s laughable. Just read the reviews — it’s happening constantly.

When I offered a reasonable solution, their response? A robotic, copy-pasted message about offering "in-store credit" — without ever saying how much. Translation: Buy more from us, and we’ll keep sending you whatever we feel like.

This isn’t a minor mistake. It’s a pattern. If your order actually matters — if the flowers are going to someone important — don’t risk being disappointed or embarrassed. You’ve been warned.

Oh I wish I checked reviews before I ordered online from Bloomex. Just as everyone else says I was extremely disappointed with the arrangement I ordered for the passing of a co-workers relative. I was so embarrassed at what we received I could not give them looking as they did. What I received was a sad un-arranged representation of what I ordered. I asked several times for a refund but only offered a store credit ... BUYER BEWARE!

The manager is incompetent in understanding or resolving obvious shipping label issues and charges customers for tax on packages that were never sent by the sender or intended for recipient and refuse to refund or resolve anything and should not be working in customer service or with the public at all. Thanks for ripping me off!!! What an absolutely miserable "manager", disgusting behavior

Absolutely horrendous experience here. This is the second important package the carrier has lost and the service rep at the post office was rude, demeaning, and refused to answer any of my questions. I asked for the customer service number to create a ticket for our lost package and she rudely told me she had already given it to my husband. I asked if she could have the respect and decency to give it to me also, and she accused me of being disrespectful and indecent with her, rolled her eyes, and walked away without helping me. I asked her coworker if I had been indecent or disrespectful and the coworker just gave me a sad apologetic look and the customer service number I had asked for. If you see a short woman with straight reddish brown hair, ask to be helped by anyone else because she's miserable and wants everyone else to be miserable too. How she's employed still is beyond me.

Absolutely terrible. Thanks to this place being no help and somehow “misplacing” my grad photos, then changing their minds and saying they apparently gave it to someone else, I will now never receive them. They also don’t answer the damn phone and most of the staff is just outright nasty and condescending.

The people here are great. Office staff are kind and the carriers are helpful when I need to know something.

Terrible customer service and rude lady working the counter who states been there 15 years and with all that time and experience would not look up a Canada post number commercial department number, as it would just be wrong to help a customer.

Told to go find it ourself

This is what happens when you have people entrenched in jobs instead of firing the bad eggs and getting better people, time in a role shouldn’t take over what’s best for your clients

Ordered a bouquet for Valentine’s Day, paid for early delivery and it did not arrive. Got a refund for the extra I paid for early delivery but they would not give me a refund for the whole thing, only store credit. Not going to be ordering from here again, so don’t want store credit. Actually insane that they couldn’t delivery on Valentine’s Day? Do not order from here! Order local, might be more expensive but at least you can count on receiving your order on the right day

The bloomex vending machine at billings bridge was terrible. I thought this would be a store with individual stems to build a bouquet as shown in the pictures. However, I was disappointed to find a vending machine with a half dozen dried up dead Easter arrangements.

Ordered 12 dozen roses for my wife on Valentine's Day. I recieved 11 roses that were about to die instead. Very unhappy with the quality of roses. I contacted customer support and they did nothing for me. Very disappointed.

Horrible service

We order flowers and somehow they overcharge and credit card was scammed.

Wasted an hour picking out the perfect bouquet only to realize they lied about pickup location midway through checkout. Don't waste your time with them. "Satellite locations" for alternative pickup spots can't be selected on the website, only 2000 Thurston.

They are not located downtown. They are located at 2000 Thurston Dr, Ottawa, ON K1G 6C9, far from downtown. The google maps location is wrong. When you order flowers from a store called “Ottawa downtown flowers” which is located at 50 Oconor, you expect to pickup your flowers at 50 Oconor!

They can apparently deliver to ‘satelite’ locations downtown, but you need to specify this request at the time of order. These flowers ended up costing me 30$ of extra Uber to pickup the flowers. This was a very poor experience.

Flowers are fine, but there are many just as nice located downtown and not misleading about their location.

Ordered flowers for a funeral with a short turn around. Loved how they tracked and advised me of the order. As it so happened the flowers arrived at the same time I arrived for visitation. The flowers were gorgeous. You are my new florist of choice! Prices are reasonable. Thank you.

Not a florist. Convenience store with like two bouquets for sale. Really inconvenienced us on a difficult day.

They’re not located downtown

My family had flowers delivered for my birthday yesterday from Rideau Florist. I was not home at the time of the delivery and the flowers were left outside (photo 1) in -14°. When I got home the water and flowers are frozen from being left outside (photo 2). My flowers are completely fried this morning (photo 3).

There are two white roses and 3 small hydrangeas in a vase that cost $100 (probably plus delivery).

Don’t waste your money here.

Does not deliver same day like advertised and didn’t even communicate that they couldn’t fulfill the expected order same day (and we ensured we ordered within the time frame expected to get same day delivery).
We had to call to confirm and that’s when we found out they weren’t going to meet expected timelines. The person over the phone was also trying to make excuses the entire time rather than just own up to the mistake.
Let the average review for this company speak for itself.

Highly unprofessional garbage company. They can’t even deliver during an 11 hour window on Valentine’s Day. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! $130 for that garbage that looks nothing like what they advertise. Delivery guy shows up at 10pm after calling 6 times in a row with a phone that doesn’t work. Pure garbage

Absolute trash. Advertise one thing and send another. Not just a small substitution, an actual different bouquet. Overpriced for nothing. Responded to my first email and offered 25% refund. I emailed back and said it was unacceptable. No further correspondence. Terrible. Horrible. Do not use this shop.

Do NOT order from this company. Flowers and a gift were to be delivered to my daughter on Sunday... the flowers were delivered, but no gift. Every day when I contact them they say it will be delivered today, but it doesn't arrive. I wasted $173. It's so disappointing.
