Best tailor in town! This was my first time getting a custom suit done and Jonathan made the entire process very easy. Once I had the suit in hand I was blown away on how light and easy it was to move around! I got a double breasted off white coat with black pleated trousers. My fave suit I own by far. I will be looking to do more business with Jonathan in the future!

Jonathan Cavaliere did an incredible job with my wedding suit. Right from the start, he had such a sharp eye for detail  from walking me through fabric choices to making sure the measurements were spot on. He explained everything in a way that made me feel comfortable and confident in the process, which I really appreciated.

I also didn’t give him much time to work with, but he was so accommodating and managed to deliver a perfect fit on a really tight timeline. On top of that, his pricing was very reasonable for the amount of care and effort he put in.

This was for my wedding day, so it was really important to me and I’ve never felt more confident in a suit. I’m genuinely proud to wear it and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Jonathan was accommodating, detail-oriented, and truly went above and beyond. I’d highly recommend Mr. Cavaliere to anyone looking for a tailor of this caliber.

My partner and I had a total of 3 bridesmaid dresses and 3 suits that needed to get significant alterations (including taking in each dress and suit by around 2 sizes). This shop did a fantastic job with a quick turnaround! My 3 dresses were ready after only a few weeks!. Would definitely recommend if you need alterations.

I had the pleasure of dropping off my winter coat here, and coming back to it after 3 weeks.
From the beginning, the process was transparent, informative, and pleasantly surprising. Shima recognized me after I'd missed two weekend openings to go pick up my coat. The flexibility of picking up my coat whenever I was available when business was open was very comforting. She was able to replace a major zipper of the coat. She fixed a sleeve, and even taught me why this sleeve was coming undone to begin with. Her craftsmanship is extraordinarily off the charts, so much so that my coat looks like it came straight from the manufacturer!
This place was well worth the price. I recommend it.

Rent a Dress is such a cool concept! They have a great selection beautiful dresses for all occasions and great customer service. I went here a few days ago to suit up for an upcoming wedding.
The customer service was amazing, good price.
I would recommend going to this shop.
The older gentleman was very polite and was very knowledgable.
Also, they were able to tailor my pants on the spot ; which was amazing. Good job to the women in the back!

**Exceptional Service That Goes Above and Beyond!**

I cannot recommend Stephano's highly enough! We discovered this gem while visiting Ottawa for my son's soccer tournament. With his grade 6 graduation ceremony approaching and no time to shop back home in Montreal, we desperately needed to find a suit between tournament games.

From the moment we walked in, the owner's approach was outstanding. He treated my 12-year-old son with genuine respect, speaking to him as an equal rather than talking over him to me. My soccer-loving boy was initially reluctant about buying a suit (he lives in his jerseys and shorts!) and was set on basic black. However, when the owner brought over some beautiful deep blue options, my son's eyes absolutely lit up.

We ended up with a complete outfit - suit, vest, and shirt. Even though my son insisted he didn't want a tie, the generous owner included one free of charge.

Here's where the service became truly exceptional: my son needed hemming, but the seamstress wasn't available for the remainder of the weekend. Since we were leaving Sunday evening, the owner promised to have her come in specially on Sunday. When I returned between the semifinal and final games, he greeted me warmly with the perfectly altered suit ready to go.

Later, I learned that the seamstress couldn't make it after all, so the owner personally took the pants elsewhere to be hemmed on a Sunday! When I tried to pay him for this extraordinary trouble, he absolutely refused.

The quality is excellent, the prices are very reasonable, and the customer service is simply unmatched. This level of dedication and kindness is rare to find anywhere. We'll definitely make the 2-hour drive from Montreal again - Stephano's has earned our loyalty for life.

I wanted to update my wardrobe a little and moved to Orleans only a few years ago so did not really know of a men’s clothier. Glad to have found this shop via google reviews. I bought two suits, they had a great sale on, had them fitted and done all in the same day. Simple and straightforward, friendly staff, good products. Not a flashy place, but they have selection and service.

Superb experience with Stephano Menswear this week. I was pressed for time and within a few hours were able to set me up with an excellent jacket and shirt to go with the pants I was wearing. Price was reasonable and staff were welcoming and accommodating, skilled and pleasant. Would heartily recommend Stephano Menswear and am looking for an excuse to make another purchase.

This man went above and beyond for us. We were in a time crunch to get a suit for my husband and to have it altered. We literally had 2 days before we headed out of town for a wedding. Yes my husband leaves everything to the last minute! Haha. We were in and out of the store within 35 mins. We were not looking to spend a small fortune and the salesman totally respected this and found hubby exactly what he were looking for. Had a fantastic experience getting my first suit from Suit Up! UK was incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional throughout the whole process. He walked me through every detail (from fabric to fit to styling) without the pushy “sales guy” vibe. It genuinely felt like he wanted to help me find my suit, not just make a sale.

The suit turned out great. Fit is clean and the fabric feels high quality. I’ll definitely be coming back for future suits.

I recently had a 3 piece suit and shirt made for my wedding and the suit not only looks and feels amazing but the price was too!!

Prior to visiting Suit Up, I went to nearly every made to measure and custom suit store in the city. I found many of the stores tried to upsell premium packages, shoes, ties, etc. and often the salesmen had suits that did not fit them correctly! When I met with UK I noticed his suit fit him perfectly... which should be a given for someone selling suits. He has a no nonsense, for the people approach to business, where his only goals are to get you the perfect suit at a price you will be happy with. There is no fancy storefront, no displays, no whisky night for your groomsmen, only the best suit and service you can get for the price!

The service provided by UK is truly top notch. The suits are truly custom, I wanted a specific lapel width because I like the look of a skinnier lapel akin to the style of Sy Devore suits and classic rat pack. Many other shops said they could not change the lapel width, but at Suit Up it was no problem. UK did not upsell premium fabrics or even other products. I did buy a custom shirt from him but he never mentioned he also sells shirts until I asked.

UK only accepts perfection. He sent my suit for alterations for a minor ripple between the shoulder blades, because he wanted it to be 100% perfect and lay completely flat.

My groomsmen also got their suits from Suit Up and they each were giftwrapped in the suit perfectly. All four of them are different shapes and sizes and each was perfectly constructed. One of my groomsmen had their suit delivered and they said it fit good, but UK said he will be the judge of that and wanted a photo so he can ensure the suit actually fits well. As alterations are included, it would've been disadvantageous for UK to do any, but he wanted a perfect fit.

UK is very friendly and always happy to educate on how a suit should fit, how to fold and maintain a suit, and provide style suggestions when prompted. He is very humble and treats you like a friend, not a customer.

Suit Up! Is the only place I will be buying suits and shirts from now on.

Got my wedding suit made with Suit Up! and I couldn't be happier with the end results. The fit, feel, and quality of the suit was really good for the money. I felt like a million bucks on the day of.

Ideally, I wanted to give 4.5 stars if I could but, unfortunately Google Maps doesn't allow for decimals and 4 stars would be too low.

UK was super chill, patient (I changed my mind a few times throughout the whole process), and just the nicest guy to work with.

I did however find the first part of the suit making process quite overwhelming and was lacking a bit of guidance for someone new to the process. Maybe a lot of it was on me, I should've came in being way more prepared about what I actually wanted. UK was extremely nice though and even went out of his way to help me with a vest issue I had.

Reading most of the existing reviews, I realize I'm in the minority here but I just want to be honest about how I felt about the process.

TLDR: End result was good, wish I had taken my time for the initial suit design process instead of rushing through it in one sitting, but in the end, I made my whole outfit work and it looked and felt amazing. I would recommend Suit Up! however do take your time, and don't rush the process!

Wedding tux shopping can be stressful but the team at Atelier Munro exceeded all expectations. If you thought "old-school" service was a thing of the past, then you haven't been to Atelier Munro. Can is a rare professional, a man who knows his craft and works with the confidence and skills of a master. I've worked in customer service for most of my life and this was easily the best experience I can remember having in Calgary. Can even offered to deliver the suit to my house when I wasn't able to pick it up. The suit was incredible, and as promised, was cool despite the heat of the Italian sun on my wedding day. If you need a wedding suit, or just a suit you will love forever, you'd be crazy not to go here. After my experience with Can, I wouldn't buy a suit or even a dress shirt anywhere else. 5 stars really doesn't seem like enough for these guys.

I must say that the suit (comes in 3 pieces: coat, vest and pants) I got from here for my friend’s wedding was one of the best looking suits I’ve ever worn. The owner, his wife and his son instantly relaxed and made me feel comfortable, they walked me through all the things I needed, trying them on, planning alterations, and were incredibly kind and patient. I’ve never had a suit tailored before, so I didn’t really know what I was doing. I walked into Ashraf’s shop and he was super chill and welcoming. He made the whole experience easy and took his time explaining everything to me.

I needed a bunch of alterations (shortening the sleeves and jacket, hemming and tapering the pants), and not only did he get it done in just a few days, but his price was better than other places I called around Toronto. One shop literally a block away quoted me over $100 more and said it would take longer.

The suit turned out great — so much so that I ended up buying another one (I needed a black one anyway) and had that tailored too. He even walked me through different fabrics and helped me figure out what would look best within my budget. I’ll be going back here for anything suit-related in the future. Highly recommend.

One of the easiest and most comfortable clothes shopping experiences I've ever had. Ashraf knows what looks good on you, and how to get you what you need quickly and in a way that feels you looking good. Great selection toom honestly I've bought three suits from here, and I don't intend on going anywhere else.

I got married in May, and wanted to be kilted-up with my groomsmen. I had six GMs including my best man, and they all needed to rent, where I wanted to buy my kilt set-up. Fortunately, William Glen & Son had enough rental color options, that each of the guys were able to wear a different tartan without repeating. I of course bought my own family tartan, of which the staff were well versed. They give you a fully tailored experience while letting you take the driver's seat. The advice and insight into Celtic customs was priceless. We ended up getting my bride a sash made from the same cut as my kilt, as well as a dual sided hand-fasting ribbon. One side was my tartan, and the other side was the tartan of her side of the family.
For the jacket and waistcoat we went with a charcoal tweed, and I'm so glad we did. I had our boutonnieres made from cannabis buds which accented the tweed spectacularly.
My groomsmen and I were so proud to wear our outfits and I think we all looked quite handsome.

The two Gentlemen who take care of the customers are top notch! Very knowledgeable, professional and a great sense of humor. They asked me lots of question about my needs and felt they were not trying to sell me anything I did not need.

Too bad they can't sell you a bottle of Whisky...one can only imagine.

Fantastic experience here renting a kilt. Rental includes almost everything you need, and the staff will explain how to wear the kilt and be helpful solving any other problems you might have.

You can also ask them to check what tartan you should wear, based on your last name or other info.

My friends and I were window shopping on Monday August 11th and were curious as to where the staircase next to Boutique 1861 would lead to. We soon learnt that it lead to Boudoir 1861, the bridal sister shop of Boutique 1861. We arrived close to closing time, but the two female staff were very kind and accomodating. Upon entering my eyes kept wandering to one of the dresses on a mannequin. The staff help in making sure it fit well and suited my needs, which convinced me to make the purchase.
