Absolutely amazing place. A must visit for anyone travelling to Montreal decides of course those who are living here. It’s in a heritage building, which gives it a unique ambience. In my first visit, I tried their Cortado and loved it. In the second visit, we went for a Cold Brew and a Pistachio Latte, along with Spinach Ricotta Danish, and Cheese Croissant. Loved Cold Brew more than the Pistachio Latte. Cortado and Cold Brew would be #1 and #2 respectively. Danish and the Croissant were great too.
The staff was nice and friendly as well. The service is lightning fast. Great options to sit with high chairs, regular tables and meeting rooms (you need to book them). Great place to work remotely.

Absolutely gorgeous cafe! Every single travel / food blog recommended I check out Crew Collective & Cafe for some of the best coffee and unique cafes in Montreal, so I knew I had to give this lovely spot a try. They absolutely deserve all the popularity, both for their gorgeous building and phenomenal coffee. The cafe is hosted in the historic Royal Bank tower and features beautiful marble floors and murals across the ceiling. It feels remarkably grand, especially for a cafe or coworking space. There are plenty of tables scattered across the main floor, but there are also small conference rooms you can set up shop in (they look a bit like old bank teller offices).

The coffee itself was fantastic. The latte was a bit milkier than I'm used to, but it was quite creamy and smooth. The beans were just the slightest bit nutty, and it was all-around a delightful cafe.

Great spot for coffee in downtown Montreal. This is a transformed old building that has incredible aesthetic and design flares. I would highly recommend going back to this place sometime soon.

One of the best cafe experiences at Crew collective.

Formerly, a Royal Bank of Canada headquarters, built between 1926–1928 which has been now repurposed into a breathtaking cafe and co-working space.

This cafe is a must visit if you like to dine and enjoy some great architecture at the same time, something rare for sure and that’s been the highlight of my time in Montreal!!

I would highly recommend even if it’s just to admire the architecture of this historical building.

I have been to train-station transformed into a museum, subterranean cavern into a concert hall or a prison into a restaurant. This surprising encounter with Crew Cafe during our downtown walk around will for sure add it to the aforementioned list of innovative transformations.

House inside the historic, former head quarter of a major bank. Somehow, the insertion of this casual cafe into such a grand palatial setting with soaring ornate ceilings, stained glass and chandeliers did not seem out of place at all.
Common sights in Europe, however, a definite rarity in North America.

Quality of the French pastries and Viennoiserie offerings could be better though!

I want to thank David's Bridal for the wonderful experience start to end. From fitting to alterations. The ladies are so personable, kind, and genuinely care about your big day. My only critique would be if possible talk to head office for more support options in alterations for the big breasted girls. Although I still thought my alterations were beautiful I do wish there was more options for support and lift that could have been sewed in. Thanks again Davids Bridal ❤️

I found a gorgeous dress for a destination wedding I will be attending in November. The fashion advisor I had was so patient and helpful. I just happened to walk in without an appointment and was able to fill a cancellation appointment. The dress was perfect with the exception of the length.
I made an appointment with their alterations and the lady that looked after me was very friendly and professional.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from David’s when I first walked into the store but I am so very happy that I did. I would recommend David’s to everyone. I am completely happy with the service the wide selection of dresses The price and the support provided by the alterations department. Everything they said would happen - did happen

I would like to thank David's Bridal for going above and beyond for our daughter! Last year(2024) she came all the way from New Zealand to find her dress. We called David's on a VERY snowy(blizzardy) day in Feburary (as we had a very bad experience at another bridal shop) and David's fit us into their schedule. The young gal in the middle photo was just amazing and went above and beyond to make her experience the best one can have on a blizzardy day! (The dress fit perfect and she was able to take it home that day) I wanted to sent you a picture of just how beautiful the newlyweds looked on their day! Thank you so much for all you did that day and making sure she had the most amazing experience! One wedding down, we do it all over again in 2026 for a Canadian wedding!!

Found outfit on the first try! The seemstress fitted for hemming and outfitted with shoes. The sales girl was right on the first try! Incredible service. Nadeen and Elohor were amazing, friendly, efficient, and accommodating with last minute alterations!

I love love love this place, and am so happy we had our wedding here! We got married one week ago at the Enoch Turner School and truly had the best day ever. Its charm in my opinion means less is more. We added a big disco ball in the middle of the room and smaller vases throughout windowsills and in tables. But the place was gorgeous and not lacking!

Stacey was extremely helpful the month leading up to the event, and I cannot be more thankful!

My only caveat was that I was unaware that the person I was communicating with was not going to be there day of until about two- three weeks before. We didn’t have a planner, but I’m super type A so it wasn’t the biggest deal, just would have liked to know sooner!

As a wedding photographer, I'm always excited to shoot at the Enoch Turner Schoolhouse. I love the minimal look with the historical character. The property shared with church next door is great for your wedding photos. If you want more options the Distillery District, Corktown Commons and SOL Atelier Photo Studio are nearby. The staff is super friendly and hard working. Definitely recommend!

I've DJ'd here many times. Love this place!

Visited for Doors Open Toronto 2025 and it was a beautiful space! Loved learning about the first school in Toronto.

Very affordable wedding venue! Ben who was on site for rehearsal and ceremony was great to work with. Roxann, great email communication and was lovely meeting her on the day as well! They have two easels for use, little chalkboards for small signs, and the schoolroom was perfect for a bridal suite - hair & make-up had no problems with their setup and there are four available electrical outlets in the schoolroom. With the main room close to 150 people, it does get hot in the summer.

You lost us when we arrived at 815pm and told valet is full. Have never stayed at a hotel where valet is full. No one helped us with luggage. Took 30 minutes to park and get back to hotel. Room 366 - room is small and bathroom is tiny. No water pressure in shower. Morning breakfast in gold level excellent. Hotel - great location. We get with an old hotel there is only so much you can do with rooms / bathrooms. But the poor service in valet and check in should be an easy win. Housekeeping excellent. Service within Gold excellent.Shouldn’t have to hike across the city the next morning to get valet - and even then had to wait 15 minutes to see if valet was now available.

We were in awe of the facility, but the people made the stay. They were friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The room was nice and my key requirements of a good shower and bed were met. I would have liked having a refrigerator and drawers for clothing; however, we were supplied with two luggage racks and robes. The room was very quiet. All and all, we would definitely stay again. Ottawa is a beautiful place to visit.

First time staying at this location and will likely be the last. Service was good and everyone was friendly. Location is nice but parking is an issue. The value for the cost is 0/5 ⭐️
The room was musty, no mini fridge, no bathroom fan and the ice machine on our floor was out of service for two days.
I’m sure there are many other nicer hotels for half the cost.

I stayed at the Château Laurier while in Ottawa for a Rolex appointment inside their jewlery store in the hotel, and at first I was very impressed. The property is beautiful, and during my stay I spent thousands of dollars, including meals at their restaurant. In 2 days Unfortunately, the way I was treated afterwards completely ruined my opinion.

Because my credit card was being replaced we did a balance transfer to a travel visa, I had a small $80 balance remaining. I explained this clearly, reassured them I would pay as soon as my new card arrived, and even offered alternative methods like debit payment, e-transfer or a certified cheque. Despite this, I received repeated and pressing messages with shifting “expiry dates” to settle the account.

For a guest who traveled for a luxury appointment in their hotel and spent generously during my stay, being treated with suspicion and essentially harassed over such a small balance was extremely disappointing. Instead of being met with trust and understanding, I was made to feel like I was trying to avoid payment, which couldn’t be further from the truth.

It’s sad, because I had looked forward to staying here again for future visits to Ottawa. But after this experience, I won’t be returning. A hotel of this reputation should know how to treat loyal guests with respect, not suspicion.

I stayed at the Fairmont Château Laurier for two nights and really enjoyed my time there. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Ottawa, walking distance to Parliament Hill, museums, and lots of shopping. The hotel itself is full of history, which makes the experience feel unique.

My room was clean but on the smaller side, which reflects the older, historic style of the hotel. Some rooms have amazing views of Parliament Hill, so it is worth asking about that. The overall ambiance feels luxurious and elegant.

The on-site bar and restaurant are lovely, though quite expensive, and the hotel also has a nice indoor saltwater pool. Parking is a challenge as valet service is very limited and was already full when we arrived, so the only option was to use nearby pay-as-you-go lots. There is also no airport shuttle service.

I did not feel that the staff went out of their way to make our stay feel special the way they have at other Fairmont locations, but overall I still enjoyed it. It is definitely on the pricey side depending on the time of year, but if you want history, luxury, and the best location for walking around Ottawa, it is hard to beat.

We like places with lots of history and this hotel fits the bill. Renovated interior with modern mood lighting in some places. Looks like a great location for a wedding but we only stayed for a few days for a vacation. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We often sat on the balcony overlooking Queen Street and watched the world go by while we ate breakfast. This place was fun, centrally located and interesting. We'll definitely head back there when we go back to Toronto!

Came here for a wedding. Though I didn't stay in a room I did see one from someone who was staying. Very. Nice.

The outdoor patio area was so peaceful, despite being downtown it didn't feel loud at all. The food was pretty darn good (wish the portions were bigger!) especially for weddings.

The venue overall was cozy and intimate, very welcoming.

We stayed at The Gladstone for a week and it was delightful. All of the staff were extremely helpful and polite. We ate in the hotel restaurant most mornings and were often served by Jen, who was attentive and very friendly and able to give us recommendations for sightseeing, too. The room was very nice and the only issue really was the loud air-conditioner. I always travel with earplugs, though, so it wasn't a problem for me. There's a lot to see in this area and it's a pretty short rail car ride to St Lawrence Market et cet! There is plenty of local unique art displayed on all of the floors and in the rooms. The Hotel's interior design marries modern touches with its historic roots in a refreshing but familiar manner that makes for a beautiful combination. I'd recommend this hotel and restaurant to anyone.

We had our wedding at the Gladstone; a number of our guests stayed at the hotel, and we stayed on the night of our wedding. The venue was nothing but attentive and professional. The rooms were beautiful and clean, and the staff were extremely helpful and supportive. It is in one of our favourite neighbourhoods in Toronto, fairly accessible by car/transit, and close to all our favourite Queen West/Ossington restaurants. Would recommend to anyone as a wedding venue and a hotel stay!

I’ve been going to Greek fest since I was 3 years old. It’s changed so much over the years. I support my community and have told myself I’m going to get more involved next year. There were curtain things that were amazing about the old Greek fest. We need to bring back the rides for the children. The draw for a free trip to Greece was always a hit too. This year was hard because it was the first year back since COVID. But next year we go all out!!! We invited the theater so let’s give them a show!!!!

The annual Greek Festival is worth catching if you can. It usually runs for 10 days. The food is great and the entertainment is enjoyable.

Rented hall provided adequate screens for presentation and good audio. Facilities in good shape. Staff not intrusive but available.

Be careful with the food - check what others are eating and decide, some foods platters are not good at all.

This charming place offers lunch and snacks (I highly recommend the cinnamon buns!). Kim started slaving away in her home kitchen to bring her home cooked deliciousness to catered events. As the business grew into favorable love, she expanded to this cafe... where you can stop by for lunch or a snack without an invite to her home :). Friendly people, wholesome food!

The fish and chips was pretty good I enjoyed my meal although I wish the fish was haddock and not pollock. For the price you pay best bang for your buck in Strathmore.

Excellent breakfast for only $6.99, including coffee (and all the cream you want.) The eggs are always perfect no matter which way I asked them to be cooked. The Cook came out to ask customers how they enjoyed their meal. Awesome place!

Great food at a reasonable price. Service is great. Part of our order got lost in the shuffle on a very busy evening (not a free seat in the place). Didn't complain, they picked up on it right away. Had to wait an extra 15 minutes or so, no big deal. Tried to pay, they comped the whole bill, and gave us pie!!! They had me at free home made pie!!! Have been there a dozen times at least, that was the only hiccup to speak of. Breakfast special every day until 11. $6 or $7 for a full breakfast. Just as fast as the McDicks here and 100 times the quality for breakfast. Can't go wrong!!!

This place is now called PJ,S. We had a family outing 4 adults and 2 children. Food was fantastic, big portions, tasty and it was presented well. Our waitress was very attentive, and frequently came back to make sure our needs were met. All entrees came with either soup or salad and at the end a piece of soooooo good pie all for under $15. Kids eat free after 4 so our total bill was under $65. This was our first time here but will most certainly not be our last. 5 stars for sure. And the owner/chef e cdn came and talked to us. Fantastic

I got my wedding dress from La Maison Bridal and did my alterations there. All staff were very helpful and supportive. They really helped me pick a dress and gave me enough time and appointments to make a decision. They have a great collection. Prices are very reasonable. I got alterations done there. Very lovely seamstress who is patient and has a great demeanour. She has a great personality and lots of experience. She tried to accommodate my requests while also knowing what works and what does not. I had a great experience and overall would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I am shocked by the positive reviews. I would not recommend this boutique to fat brides or any body really. There's maybe 20-30 plus size dresses and they're hidden in the back. The selection was very limited and the dresses barely fit enough to try on so I couldn't really tell if I would like it or if I would be comfortable in the dress even if it were my size. There was one dress the consultant kept wanting me to try on and it seemed like the go-to dress for plus size brides. The consultant also let me try on a dress that clearly stated on the tag only went up to a size 12. When my sister expressed it would be nice to see the dress on a plus size model she told us to look it up online and maybe we could buy it from somewhere else. It was so strange. Anyway, I am very thankful I had a wonderful appointment earlier that day at David's Bridal or I probably would have sworn off wedding dress shopping completely.

Had the best experience at Maison Bridal with my girls. I purchased a $2500 dress that the lady told me had two small holes that would be no problem to fix. Got home with the dress to realize they weren’t two small holes. They were huge holes that I ended up needing to replace the whole back of the dress. The zipper was broken that she also said “oh, you just need to pull it up a bit harder than the other dresses”.
I should have checked the holes my self. I understand but I was so in the moment because I found the dress and she threw my veil on and sent me out to show my ladies the dress that I didn’t even think about checking.

I found MY dress here! I honestly never thought I would have the experience of finding THE dress until I came here. I had seen an Instagram ad with this specific dress and booked my appointment for the next day. The staff is always very lovely. I didn’t feel rushed, and I felt heard. The boutique is also very lovely and in a good location. All in all, I loved my experience and would definitely recommend!

I had a lovely experience dress shopping at La Maison! While I didn't find 'the one', they had a great selection of pretty dresses, an intimate space for me and my group, and even an area with alternate lighting so you can see the dress in different lights. My bridal stylist was super kind, and not pushy.

Came here for a wedding last weekend and the venue was absolutely gorgeous. Tight, intimate space with a large dance floor. 100% recommend. The drive up to it on the race track was also a very cool experience.

One of the Best event venue in the heart of Montreal.

We just had our wedding this past weekend and all we can say is WOW. This venue is one of the most gorgeous in all of Montreal, from the lighting, to the indoor design, to the architecture and of course, the garden. We have nothing but absolutely positive things to say about our experience with the rental managers. All of our guests were blown away by the atmosphere. If you are considering this place as a rental for an event - do it. We will remember our special day for a lifetime, and it happened flawlessly. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

There's a reason why this is one of the most sought after wedding venues in Montreal. It's so gorgeous, the setting is incredible - you feel like you're out in the country but through the trees you have this breathtaking view of the city. Parc Jean-Drapeau's staff are very attentive and helpful. It's well worth the cost to rent this space. It's unreal to think how many hundreds of thousands of people likely dined in that room during Expo 67, how many millions passed through the Canadian Pavilion, how many millions more walked around the site. It makes whatever event feel like a part of history. The Inuit art was striking and engaging too, and it created this remarkable contrast with the high modernism of the space which was 'linked' by the interior wood floors and finishings, and complemented by the natural settings outside. Old, new, antique, modern, rustic, urban - and all at the same time and in harmoney with one another. What could be more Montreal, Quebecois, and Canadian than that?

Horrible service and, more importantly, both parking attendents and their manager utterly lacking in empathy. Attended an event here and we had a guest in the party whose electric car needed a charge since nearest charger in the Casino was out of service and after driving around looking for charger they only had enough charge to drive 5 km. La Toundra refused to allow him to charge the car so it would not require a tow while being a guest at the event and told him that the charger is for employees only even though no employee was charging 10 pm two charger spots. And this was for a paying customer. At the end, this poor individual had his car towed as their battery ran out, their while two kids screamed in their baby seats, which lay on the side of the road while they waited for their cab at 10 pm. Quebec hospitality at its best.

I attended my friend’s wedding at Château Royal in Laval and was blown away. The venue is gorgeous, the ballroom elegant, and the atmosphere perfect for a celebration. The staff were attentive and professional, making sure everything ran smoothly. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I’d highly recommend Château Royal for weddings or special events.

From the very beginning of planning our daughters Sweet 16 with Tina to the day of the event with Helene and Peter on-site, every little detail was expertly managed. On the day of the celebration, Helene was a tremendous help with our morning setup, while both her & Peter ensured we had everything we needed during our party. This was our first event at Chateau Royal, but certainly not our last! I just wish I had found Chateau Royal sooner!

The hall is nice, clean but hasn't had a revamp or renovations in years. Looks the same as it was in 2010. Other halls in Laval have invested more proactively. Aside that service is good food (varies per venue) was ok; could be improved.

My family hosted my baby shower at Chateau Royal last Sunday and I was beyond satisfied with this venue. The food (lunch buffet), room, and service were exceptional! I received many compliments from the guests regarding the service and buffet quality. I am so happy they decided to host the event there as it made the day even more memorable! Thank you Chateau Royal :)

Very nice and spacious venue. Everything is clean and the staff is very nice and efficient in their way of working. They don't seem to provide chairs and tables though, which is a bit of a bummer.

I was at Le Madison in April 2015. The place was incapable. Everything was great except we had to wait for a bit for the room to be accessible. I recommend this place for any event. Furthermore, there is plenty of parking space at the back of the building. Thanks to the staff for the service.

I can’t shake off the feeling that I was extremely ripped off at this store. Sadly, I found the perfect dress here but it was overly priced and I was lied to.
When trying on dresses, they help you make them closer to your size and tell you “oh, but if you like this dress, we can order it on your size” LIES - you don’t get a dress your size nor a new one- just the one who knows how many people have tried before. I think they trick you into getting a dress even if it’s not your size just so you pay a lot using their seamstress to adjust it (which I won’t be doing, I found one of my own).
The manager also is very quick to judge you for your budget. I said I wanted a specific style of dress and what my budget was and her first comment was “you have expensive taste. You won’t find a dress like that in your budget”, then, why am I even here?
Also, BEWARE, they write the price tags BY HAND. I saw how my price tag was at 2.6k and by the time I agreed to get the dress and was doing the paperwork, the tag had been very obviously manipulated to say 2.8k.
I honestly regret getting my dress from them because I feel I was taken advantage of. It’s sad that the dress I loved was from this store.
I recommend you go with a much lower price range than your actual one because they pressure you to buy on your first visit because they offer a discount “only on the first visit”. Since it seems their prices are made up, they help you reach your budget so that you buy with them: LOWBALL THEM!! And maybe you wont get ripped off like I was :)

We had a wonderful experience here buying the Mother of the Bride dress, Sara was so helpful and accommodating, she let us try on as many dresses as we needed to to find the perfect one, she made the whole experience feel special and stress free! Highly recommend coming here for your mother of the bride dress! Besides the great customer services there is a huge selection, with a lot of new models. Also a special shout out to Fatima, who was just as kind and helpful!

- You get a first time visit discount, so that adds pressure to the decision if you're only going there to shop around

I didn't end up getting my dress from there, but I would only recommend it not as the first shop you visit, only go there if you kind of know what you want

This women knows her stuff. I am a heavier woman and within 15 minutes she had me in dresses that fit. I am the mother of the groom. I would recommend this boutique to anyone. Alot to choose from including wedding dresses so glad I found this place

The event venue is a hidden gem. On the outside it's unimpressive. The inside decor and atmosphere are impressive, however!
It's small compared to other venues, so it can fill up very quickly. The service was exquisite, and the staff very professional.
My only suggestion is let the guests know that there is more room for waiting upstairs.

I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at Maison Principale on Saturday, May 17, and I can’t say enough good things about this venue. It’s absolutely beautiful—every corner offers a perfect backdrop for photos, from the elegant interiors to the thoughtful architectural details.

The space was spotless and so well maintained, which makes a huge difference on a fast-paced wedding day. I also want to highlight how lovely it was to work with Natasha—she was so accommodating and kind, and even welcomed me to visit the venue ahead of the wedding to get familiar with the space. That extra step helped everything run even more smoothly on the big day.

The entire team at Maison Principale was professional, attentive, and truly dedicated to creating a seamless experience for everyone involved. I’m already looking forward to the next event there!

We had such a fantastic experience at MP for our wedding. From the moment we visited, Gabriella G. and Natasha M. made us feel comfortable and at ease. They handled all our special requests and were in direct contact with all our vendors to make sure our day would be as magical as imagined. Gabi B. from Brera Catering was also so pleasant to work with, and accommodating from our initial tasting months prior to the wedding to our midnight table.

Malaparte is an intimate yet exquisite fine dining establishment. We had the pleasure of having our annual work Christmas party here and they did not disappoint in the slightest. Friendly and quick service, always making sure we had food in our mouth and a drink in our hands. The team was excellent and the food was delicious. The views of the city are phenomenal and the rooftop view of the CN tower was spectacular. I would recommend any business or group to host an event here. I can’t wait to be back next year. Thank you to all of the hard working staff for putting on a night to remember. We truly do appreciate it.

Lovely venue! We experienced a wedding here and the views of the city are great. The spot in front of the CNE Tower is nice in the day or night. Staff were attentive, drinks were great and food was good. I can't want to come back here to have a casual day out.

Beautiful small venue to have a wedding. Doesn't need much decorating. The views are very nice with clear shots of the CN tower. It can get windy here in the fall time. The in-house dj was one of the best with great taste in music for the appropriate crowd and smooth transitions. The food was also very good - no issues there as well. Recommend for events of 130ish people.

Very good catering venue! Workplace party functions, different business organizations and marriages are popular booking options here. Loved working in the laid back kitchen with good chefs.

The views are 5 stars plus here, amazing skyline views from the balcony. I’ve been a couple times now for business related events, service and food had been good both times. For a catered venue in the city I’d recommend for sure

I had a wonderful stay! The hotel itself is beautiful, and I absolutely loved the city view from my room. The oval-shaped window gave the room so much character and made the view even more special. The elevators were impressively fast, which made getting around the hotel super convenient. My room was very clean and comfortable, and although the washroom was a bit on the smaller side, it was still perfectly fine. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Montreal!

Very convenient location. We walked most places and the Eaton Center mall was like a 10 min walk. Ian (Concierge) was the best! He kept us up to date on festivals going on and suggested great restaurants and sites. He checked in with us whenever he saw us. I will be coming back next year and staying here specifically because of that attention to customer service and relations. Rooms were beautiful and comfortable.

The service gets 10 stars 🌟 all day long from the front desk to the cleaning staff 👍. The rooms are clean, well appointed and modern.

The location is 10 stars ✨ as well. You are right at the heart of downtown Montreal. And you are also at the Soul of Montreal because the Bell Centre is right next door … the Habs are the heart and soul of the city 😊.

Tons of things to see and do nearby and the Metro 🚇 is at the doorstep etc.

Usually stay at another hotel but I am so happy we decided to stay at the Montreal Marriott Chateau Champlain. This is now of destination hotel in Montreal. The hotel is gorgeous, the rooms outstanding, the service first class. We were only in town for three nights stay, wife dragged me to airport as I simply want to stay longer. The location - Walk everywhere or hop Metro.

Stayed at this location (pet friendly) with the family including our small Labradoodle for 3 nights. The selected basic room was very clean and modern from the decor, right to the entire bathroom . All staff was very attentive, courteous and helpful. Location was excellent and in close proximity to St Catherine's strip and about 10-15 minute drive to Old Montreal which is definitely worth visiting. The only downside which is no fault of the hotel is all the construction throughout downtown Montreal. I'd recommend the hotel and definitely stay again upon future visits.

I recently took my granddaughter to the Old Mill for a princess party teatime event. She absolutely loved it. The grounds were just exquisite. All the little girls were dressed up in princess dresses with tiara’s, and they had four princesses come out to entertain the kids. The room was set up beautifully, and the food was excellent.

Went here for a friend’s intimate wedding and loved the venue. The food was delicious, the venue itself felt very cozy and elegant, and the staff were all so helpful. I didn’t take pictures of the food, but we had butternut squash soup, garden salad, and salmon filet with roasted veggies — all of it was surprisingly delicious.

We recently had our wedding at Old Mill Toronto, and it was truly the most magical day we could have imagined. From the stunning historic setting to the flawless execution of every detail, everything exceeded our expectations.

A huge thank you to Anna and Galina, who were extremly helpful in making our day so special. Their responsiveness, professionalism, and attention to detail were incredible throughout the entire planning process. Anytime we had a question or needed to finalize something, they were quick to respond and always had a solution ready. Their support took so much stress off our shoulders and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.

The venue itself is breathtaking — charming, elegant, and full of character. Our guests couldn't stop complimenting the ambiance, the food, and the impeccable service. From start to finish, it was everything we dreamed of and more.

The Old Mill is such a beautiful venue with so many spaces for events that each have their own character and requires very little decoration. As a wedding decorator, the staff were incredibly friendly and responsive. They ensured everything was perfect for my client and made it very easy for me to complete my decor set-up. I'm looking forward to working at The Old Mill in the future.

I stayed here last week on a trip and I loved this hotel! It is a beautiful building and always looked very clean and well-maintained. I was mostly impressed with the staff who were very efficient and helpful with tips on getting around the city. They even gave me a map of the city and folded my pajamas neatly for me! Overall, my experience with One King West was a very professional and pleasant one. I would highly recommend them to anyone and would definitely stay here again!

I had an excellent stay here. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The location couldn’t be better with easy access to everything downtown. The service was outstanding, and the staff made me feel very welcome throughout my stay. The underground PATH system connected to the hotel was also really cool and convenient. I was extremely happy with my experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!!

I stayed here for 3 days while visiting Toronto, great service, can pay cash for room service. The wings and fries were amazing. Rooms were clean and nice. Only issue was the bathrooms were a bit small for my liking. But definitely would stay here again! Decent view as well! I recommend staying here during Christmas/new years, amazing decor.

We stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed our stay here. Our room had everything we needed: comfy bed and pillows, bathroom toiletries, dishwasher and fridge. Our room was also very spacious too with large windows. It was a nice room with a pretty view of downtown Toronto. This hotel has many floors and on most occasions, the elevator moved fairly quickly.

The hotel's location is very accessible to the subway and it's not too far from other touristy sites. We liked the proximity and location. The hotel lobby was pretty nice too. At night they had live music performing which was pretty cool to see. It can just get a little crowded and overwhelming with a bunch of things going on and so many people there.

Right after we checked out, the concierge held our things before our flight. And they also stored our perishable food items as well too, to which I was impressed because I thought it was an odd request for some of the food/drinks we bought. But they didn't bat an eye, they took care of things without a problem.

We had a good time and they took care of everything we needed. Everyone we came in contact with was helpful and great. I would stay here again.

We only had to look at one wedding venue (One King West) because from the moment we saw it, we were sold. The Grand Banking Hall completely blew us away. Its stunning, timeless elegance made it the obvious choice for our reception. Even on the day of our wedding, countless guests commented that it felt like being in New York and that’s how spectacular the space is. It was everything we envisioned and more.

Another area we absolutely loved was the Chairman’s Boardroom, where we took our family and wedding party photos. The space has such a regal, classic feel and it added such a beautiful, timeless backdrop to our pictures.

A huge shoutout to Shunell, our wedding coordinator, who was absolutely incredible to work with. She truly went above and beyond to make our day flawless. Also, a big thank you to Lance, one of the managers at One King West, who was so kind and attentive and he made us feel so well taken care of throughout the entire experience.

I came here for a group event of about 70 people on a Sunday in March.

The room itself was nice and clean but the temperature was very cold. There was a temperature control on the wall and some guests were trying to increase it to 20 or 21 degrees but employees would lower it to 18...guests were so cold they were grabbing their coats and scarves. Eventually someone spoke to an employee to ask if it can stay at 20 and they allowed it.

I had asked one of the waiters in English what the hors d'oeuvres were that he was handing out and he did not understand I had to repeat myself in French. Someone who works in the service industry should be able to speak English and French. I

also included a photo of one of the hors d'oeuvres, a meatball, which was completely raw in the middle. I showed a waiter and he took it away and I never heard back about it. The rest of the food was fine but that put a bit of a damper on the food for the rest of the guests at my table.

I've heard a lot of positive reviews of this place but my experience was disappointing. Not sure I would consider hosting a event here myself.

We had our wedding at this venue last weekend, and honestly, the experience was incredible from start to finish—way beyond just the wedding day itself.

In the months leading up to it, the staff was so present and attentive. They were always a step ahead, checking in, helping us navigate the process, and making sure everything was unfolding the way we had envisioned. What we appreciated most was how they shared their advice without ever making us feel like our ideas were wrong or unrealistic. They’d give little tips or insights based on their experience doing this every other weekend, but they always made it clear that the final call was ours—and they’d make it work, no matter what we decided.

They were also super proactive. We never had to chase them down or ask when our next meeting was. They guided us step-by-step, from meal preferences to setup decisions, which really helped reduce any pre-wedding stress. It honestly felt like they were just as invested in the experience as we were.

They humanized the whole process too; it didn’t feel transactional at all. They’d remind us to be present, to enjoy the moment as a couple, and that little touch of care made all the difference. You can really tell they love what they do.

On the actual day of, everything ran perfectly. The staff was always nearby, gently guiding us through the timeline—but in the most calming and subtle way. The maître d, the head waitress, and all the other staff were so hardworking, kind, and personable. Throughout the night, they kept checking in on us and bringing us food to make sure we were eating enough and actually enjoying the night.

The coordinators also made our wedding feel like more than just an event they had to run. Right before walking down the aisle, they stopped to tell us how great we looked and gave us words of encouragement before coordinating and timing everything.

We had both our ceremony and cocktail hour at the hall. Originally, we had planned for it to be outside, but the weather didn’t cooperate. They calmly shifted everything indoors, reassured us that it would still be beautiful—and they were right. The setup was stunning and felt just as special as what we had originally pictured. The way they executed the backup plan was so smooth and professional.

The food was also next level. People are still texting us a week later telling us how they cleaned their platters. The braised beef was a major hit, and guests kept complimenting both the quality and the quantity of food—which can be rare to nail both. They were also on top of being attentive to the allergy and dietary restrictions of all our guests, which was very important to us—and our guests really appreciated it.

Another huge help was how they coordinated with our vendors the week of the wedding. We didn’t have to worry about who was arriving when or what was being set up—they handled it all, which gave us the space to actually enjoy the experience.

Having the hotel attached to the hall was such a lifesaver. We got ready there in the morning, which made the whole day flow so much easier—no travel stress, no rushing. And it allowed our guests to let loose, enjoy themselves, and stay overnight. We even hosted a brunch the next morning at the Resto, which was such a fun way to wrap up the weekend. The bistro staff was also amazing—super friendly and genuinely helpful.

All in all, this team gave us the wedding we had dreamed of without the pressure and chaos we thought would come with it. They were a dream team, and we would 100% recommend this place to anyone planning a wedding. It’s literally the one-stop shop for your wedding in Montreal—you can’t go wrong!

The food was impeccable & Delicious.
Andrea,Robert and Stefania did and amazing job with the menu selections and ensuring all was set up correctly.Johhny our maître D did a fantastic job keeping the staff aligned.Overall my wedding venue was stress free, delicious and all I expected and more.

Attended a business lunch which stretched until 2:30 on a Wednesday and still had a surprising amount of patrons!
The food (rabbit) was absolutely delicious as well as the dessert. Service was spot on with a knowledgeable waiter making great recommendations. Too bad I am rarely in the East End of town.

Terrible experience, service was awful, they were removing stuff from the table when we were still eating (silverware, etc) like they wanted us to get out fast. On top of it they charge $7 PER bottle of water (750 ml) with no option for tap water saying it’s the policy. Absolutely no reason to ever go back. We were there for well over 4 hours for a party of 10 rarely having anyone check in at the table unless is to remove silverware while still eating. And last but not least, the terminal for payment offers tip option 15% 18% and 20% but on the price with taxes which is illegal in Quebec since may 2025. Manager is rude and no class won’t listen to its customer , yells and threatens to call police on them. What a huge disappointment NEVER AGAIN

Very beautiful restaurant, cozy ambiance and very professional staff. Went with colleagues for lunch and the service was impeccable. Definitely a go to if you want to bring customers for lunch, or family for souper.

I decided to try the wednesday all you can eat sushis night! I will say first the vibe and service is great! They even have a DJ. Sadly the sushis was tasteless... for an expensive famous place like this, I was expecting better food.

The appetizers were great, but the main meal.. I wasn't impressed with the presentation, and it was lacking flavour. Overall, this is a fairly decent reception hall, but the parking lot is VERY small.
