We celebrated our wedding at Le Crystal on July 19, 2025, and it was truly the best decision we made! A big thank you to Joe, Tanya, Connie, and the rest of staff who were very helpful, professional, and responsive. They worked with us on every detail and made the planning process very smooth.

The hall itself is so stunning, elegant, and beautifully maintained. Our guests were impressed with the décor and atmosphere. The food was very delicious, and we received so many of compliments from our family and friends.

The service on the day of the event was also remarkable. The team made sure everything ran on schedule and that we did not have to worry about anything. They handled last-minute changes with grace and kept the mood stress-free and joyful.

We highly recommend Le Crystal for anyone looking to have a beautiful and memorable and wedding!

The team at Le Crystal was absolutely perfect, there was not one complaint from anyone. Working you guys was so easy and stress free! The food was absolutely delicious, the waiters were always on point even until the end. Anny was a 5 star waiter, super helpful from the moment we got to the hall till the every end she was always checking in, never had a glass empty on any table (head table and parent tables).

You and the team just made our wedding so easy for us to actually enjoy. We want to thank you and the team from the bottom of our hearts on making our day so perfect.

Working with you, Joe and Tanya and even Connie at the end when we had to do deliveries so smooth there was never any miscommunication or someone missing information. You guys did amazing and we will definitely spread the word to any friends, family or strangers to go to Le Crystal.

Our experience at Le Crystal was nothing short of amazing! From the very beginning, Julia guided us through every step of the planning process; she was truly an angel and made everything so easy and stress-free. Especially when we had last minute changes, Julia handled everything amazingly.

On the wedding day, everything ran so smoothly. The team was constantly checking in to make sure we had everything we needed, which allowed us to just relax and enjoy our day. The food was absolutely incredible, and Anny was there helping me with anything I needed.

4.6 stars ill give, in the beginning the owner promised me a lot of things like free beer during services time and start at anytime decorating the day of the wedding and he said I can pay with credit card, debit or cheque.
Now the issue was that the person who take care of the whole process Tanya did not listen to all of that so When i will send emails about those details i will receive an answer about no thats not possible this and that. And then after they will tell me yes sorry. So I stressed a few times during the months I was organizing. But thanks God everything will be fine at the end of the day. I got a nice service at the tasting service the head of servers i think was really nice to us. And the food was amazing. So i had no complains about food. I had complicated guest during wedding day, she never answer to my questionnary about food restrictions, And she was lactose intolerant and nevwr answered that form about food. So I didn't said to the waiter about this person because usually she will take pills for lactose. But i heard her complain about her salad cesar that had cheese. And me has a bride got mad NOT at the server but her. But good think about the Crystal that they never got back to me about that guest they just took care of it and handled very well. So I do appreciate very well the big effort they did. And not only that. But they cut the cake that was almost falling NOT because of them but because of my vendor. And they still cut the cake properly. At the end of all of it I got happy. So its almost a 5 stars just the last 6 months that was stressful for me. But the day of was amazing.

We had our wedding at Le Crystal and cannot speak highly enough about the service and every member of the team because they are wonderful throughout every step of the process.

We were initially interested in the venue because of the hall itself, the Pearl hall is stunning and fit the vibe of the wedding we wanted, but then were so impressed by the communication and time they took in meeting with us, it was clear they are passionate about what they do and are confident in their ability to execute a couple's vision.

Everyone we dealt with made the entire wedding planning process so seamless and stress-free. They were quick to respond with any question I had and have a clear outline of what information they need and when and were things I would not have thought of and it is evident that they know what they are doing and have an efficient process. I did not hire a wedding planner and did not feel I needed it with how easy and supportive the process was.

On the day everything went so smoothly, the food was some of the best we've had, the service was incredible, we even had one of the waiters who was at our tasting come by to say hi, which was so thoughtful, and the day went exactly how we had hoped it would.

Our guests are still talking about how wonderful they found Le Crystal, especially how delicious the food was (one guest said it was the best vegetarian meal she had ever had at a wedding/event) and how impressed they were with the service of all the waiters and bar staff.

With the number of weddings and events they have hosted you could imagine just feeling like a number to them but that could not be further from our experience. They made us feel so special and that our wedding was important. They are truly masters at what they do and I cannot imagine a better team anywhere else.

A beautiful flat area that all ages can walk around in. There are plenty of beautiful places to take Fall Colour Photos.

It is completely free to come and enjoy and the parking is not far away.

I would imagine that this place would be perfect for either family portraits or wedding photos too.

Absolutely loved DJing here. Warm, intimate, inviting. There’s a special kind of energy down there in fish creek. And the hardwood floor is great for dancing!

Great location and beautiful surroundings! Loved this location for the Candlelight series. This is a beautiful and intimate space for such an amazing experience. Very clos to Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant to have a bite before or after.

Our family hosted a wedding here and we were delighted with the ambiance, set up and service. Very happy. Location is amazing. Would have given 5 stars. A bit disappointed however with the bathroom situation. Only 3 restroom stalls - one men's and 2 women's. One of the women's stalls was out of service and so the door was just locked and no one to fix it. Created lines waiting for the restroom. The odor coming from them created a not-so welcoming addition to the entrance to the venue but I'm sure it will all be rectified after the long weekend. All in all, we enjoyed the venue and the beautiful ambiance it created for the wedding.

Here for a free concert at the Wood Terrace. Outdoors on a beautiful summer night listening to a super fun Cape Breton group. Thank you NAC, this is so very special. Love the small feel in the middle of the city.

Spacious, well lite, modern building housing an impressive, well arranged collection. Each piece, not only has information about the artist and date, but a back story to help understand the work. Lots of washrooms and handicap ramps.
Excellent locker and coat check with friendly, polite staff. Well worth a few hours to stroll around and admire a variety of art forms.

Attend a concert that was part of the free summer series concert. Very enjoyable. The concert took place on the terrace outside overlooking the canal. Bring picnic chairs.

Does anyone remember Classic Bookshops which was located in NAC after it opened? They also had a section for French books which was La Librairie de la Capitale. I have not been to NAC in ages! But these bookshops were really nice.

Great spot to catch all varieties of shows. Got to experience the National HS Improv championships firsthand. What a stellar event and kudos to the NAC for staging such a beneficial experience.

Old port Montreal, an amazing place to visit if you are going to Montreal, the summer vibe was at the full swing and people are so nice and friendly the variety of food outlet and other shops were just too good. One can enjoy the live music at most of the streets with amazing musician and playing with even the old forgotten instruments, the desert shops is another plus. Great time to spend and its all on foot.

Great place to visit and enjoy several fun activities like boating, zip lining, Ferris wheel, etc. The seating area beside the river is super scenic. Designated paid parking is available just beside the river area for 35 dollars.

A nice place to visit all year round. Ride on the ferris wheel is a great experience.

The information and interactive part of the exposition was great. I recommend going after 3pm or even on a weekend because when I went there was multiple schools groups there. The unpleasant part is when the kids would cut infront of the other people. All in all, an interesting exposition.

Very beautiful place. It would give you european vibes. There are lot of summer activities going on which you can enjoy. Must try the wheel and you will get the whole city view. There are many cute patios around to eat.

This park is AWESOME!
When you leave the station, there’s the main area where the globe is located. This area has well-maintained washrooms, a restaurant, a nice sculpture, and also a scooter station. I highly recommend you download the “Lime” app to rent a scooter. I explored part of the park by riding it around and it was super fun! I also recommend you put your gloves on if you’re riding a scooter during the fall/winter season as the wind will certainly make your hands uncomfortable. Apart from the main area, the park has also a beautiful path alongside the lake which is incredible! This path has some benches facing the lake making it the perfect place to relax while admiring the beautiful view. After exploring this side of the park, you can walk to the opposite side of it, crossing the bridge. Keep walking and cross the Formula 1 Circuit (Circuit Gilles Villeneuve) and you’ll be able to enjoy another beautiful path in nature. While strolling around this area I kept wondering how nice it must look in summer/ early fall/ winter (with snow). Anyway, I highly recommend it and I am already looking forward to going back!

It's easily accessible to public transportation metro/bus. You will find the beautiful scenery ✨️ colorful trees (sep/oct) and an old fort/Minar. Walking through the forest is amazing 👏
You must plan at least 6 hrs to spend over there to covering the entire park.

One of the most beautiful park located in the heart of the city. Easily accessible via metro and bus routes. There are several cool activities during the summer as well as in winter for everyone. Huge picnic area with tables. Cityscape also looks great from there and amazing place for the nature walk and photography.

A very big and beautiful park with great views of the city and harbour. They've been making many renovations to update the park's infrastructure, buildings, and landscape features.

I definitely recommend coming here during the weekdays when it's quiet to explore the many trails and gardens.

It's such a beautiful place. There's so much to see. The flowers are beautiful. There's also this enormous blue chair that's really cool. I simply went there to enjoy the clamness of the afternoon and had no idea a that the Biosphere Museum was near by. I was pleasantly surprised. I absolutely enjoyed going there and intend to go back soon.

I just wanted to take the time to personally thank everyone involved for making our wedding absolutely perfect. I would especially like to thank Vic for helping us from the get go and a special thank you to Joe for being on top of everything the day of. 5 stars is not enough!!!

Just celebrated my 30th birthday at Plaza Universel a few weeks ago and let me tell you, I am still in awe on how amazing it was. From day 1 to meeting Vic, to the planning up until the end of my party it was just an amazing experience, stress free, and just perfect. Vic and his team were there for me every step of the way.
My guests are still talking to me about the food, the high quality menu and service. Everything was fantastic, the menu itself, the portions, the service...I have no words. The team was incredible, our waiters. They took care of my guests and made us feel like family. There is no doubt I would host all my future events here. I would recommend Plaza Universel in a heartbeat.
Thank you so much to the whole team for making my 30th birthday so special, perfect and memorable. I can't wait to host and plan another event with you guys.

Every year, our community hosts its annual party at this incredible event center, and I can’t speak highly enough of it. In fact, I was so impressed by the venue that I chose it for my own wedding—and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I made. The affordability is a major plus, especially considering the quality and range of amenities offered. The halls are beautifully designed with a sleek, modern aesthetic, and the space includes a stage that’s perfect for performances, speeches, or entertainment.

I was at an event that rented the space and it was such an amazing venue! Comfortable but spacious, beautiful architecture inside honestly. I wondered why I hadn't been to an event there before or even known it was an option. If you're looking for a space with a nice dance floor for your next event absolutely consider the Polish Canadian Cultural Centre

My wife and I held our wedding reception in the new Combatants hall in May of 2025. Prices here are quite reasonable, and Krzysztof and Elizabeth were both very helpful and accommodating. We made many last minute changes and had many requests that made the event more complicated for the venue. They were very patient and accommodating right through to the end of the event, checking in with me periodically to make sure everything was going smoothly. I would recommend the Polish Centre to anyone in need of an upscale venue to hosting an event.

My wife and I had our wedding reception in the Combatants Hall last summer and we were very pleased with everything. We received tons of compliments about the food and decor. The dance floor was a great size and the hall accommodated 120+ people without issue. Krzysztof was great to deal with and helped us with planning so everything went smoothly. I highly recommend checking this venue out if you're looking for a reception hall.

We cannot say enough great things about Krzysztof and the incredible team at the Polish Cultural Centre! From start to finish, their professionalism, dedication, and seamless communication made planning our wedding reception an absolute joy. Every question we had was promptly answered, ensuring we felt confident and stress-free leading up to our big day.

The venue itself was fantastic—spacious, elegant, and perfect for hosting a celebration that will be remembered for years to come. But what truly set this experience apart was the phenomenal food (Renata & Magdalena, BAR service (Leszek, Servers & Kitchen team)! Our guests were delighted by the delicious menu, and we can confidently say that everyone left feeling full and satisfied.

I attended my niece’s bridal shower at this venue on May 25th, 2025 and it was such a wonderful experience that I felt the need to write a review. I was so impressed with the beautiful renovations that were done to this iconic building that has been around for many years-it’s a must see. The staff were amazing-professional and so kind and helpful. The owners were also present at the event. They tended to our every need and were a major contributor to the success of the event! I was blown away with the artistic presentation of the food and it was just as tasty and delicious as it was presented 😋 The newly renovated spaces, the great quality of food and exceptional service is a hidden gem on Preston. I highly recommend this place-you will love it!

I've been to two conferences here, with no complaints. The food was quite good, the sound system was excellent, and very well laid out, with a breakout room.

We had our wedding here this month and I cannot say enough great things about the venue and the staff. They were extremely responsive, helped us every step of the way including accommodating our every request the night of. Abbas was extremely present throughout the evening, not only checking in on the bride and groom but every room in the venue ensuring guests were taken care of. They communicated with our vendors to make the day run smoother and allowed us access to the venue prior to the event to add our own finishing touches. The food was incredible, and Yousef was extremely accommodating by adding any items we wanted to the menu. The renovations they've done really make the whole space pop. I highly recommend contacting them for any event.

Attended a charity event at the Preston event center last week, the venue is splendid, food was exceptional, and the service was stellar. I haven’t heard about this place before but I was greatly surprised ! A great event center, near downtown with parking !! I will definitely reach out to them if I have any event coming up !

Such a gorgeous venue! I was here for a "candlelight concert" featuring music from the LOTR and Game of Thrones soundtracks played by an exceptional string quartet. I highly recommend that you experience such a show if you can. It's not always the same music though but you will likely find a concert that suits your taste.

The interior is very nice and spacious and the atmosphere is perfect. The sound is also very good, so is the view on the main floor. However, on the second floor, the view is quite obstructed. We had the first row balcony seats which were second most expensive, however, the balcony barrier is very high with a metal bar across so you have to lean forward non stop to be able to see. I don't know how people above the second row were able to see anything. Also , the bar was disappointing as their drink menu is very limited, pricey, small and served in single use paper cups.

Stairs are intense

I'm struggling with an injury and I was disappointed that I found no elevator or electric staircase.
I recognize it's an old building but I believe an respectable establishment should be, nowadays able to accommodate everyone.
Sound was good.
Bar was fast and offered simple drinks.

Amazing 1920’s theater!! We went for “candle light concert tribute to ABBA !! The location could not be better for this romantic evening concert!! The ceilings were spectacular and keep in good condition and the view from the balcony could not be better!! Of course the concert was as expected..amazing

Went to see a comedy show the flower Tour with Josh Johnson a N.O,USA native very compelling and laughed continually. the seats are wooden chairs close knit to fill the place up the picturesque site is unique and bar and reception excellent.

I had a terrible experience with Santo Cristo Banquet Hall. They are completely unresponsive—no one answers phone calls or replies to emails, making it impossible to get any information or book with confidence. On top of that, the location details are inaccurate and will not even get you to the right place. Overall, the service is unreliable and incredibly inconvenient. I strongly recommend avoiding this venue if you’re looking for professionalism and good customer service.

The hall was absolutely beautiful, clean and organized. Ed was polite, respectful, and well accommodating. He made the entire process smooth and easy. Looking forward to having more events here in the coming future.

Nice layout and vibe at this hall. The welcoming lobby space and adjacent main hall share sliding doors between the two bars. Nicely decorated, the coloured lights were pleasing and tables were spaced out well with lots of room for the dance floor. Clean washroom facilities. Staff was pleasant. Plenty of parking.

Just had a multicultural wedding at the banquet hall. The hall is big and fairly new. Has all the amenities that a function would need. From multi lighting options, great dancing floor, and optional 2 bars. Working with Edgar, was a pleasure.

We rented chairs for our wedding from Special Event Rentals and had a wonderful experience. Nice chairs MAKE A DIFFERENCE! Worth every penny. Special shout out to Debbie who was always kind and great to connect with even though I had endless questions and little changes. Another shout out to the delivery folks who were perfectly on time and to the warehouse staff. We returned our chairs via uhaul and the warehouse staff gave great instructions to make sure everything was returned perfectly. The chairs are so nice and they weren't heavy, I was able to help organize them at/after the event, and at the same time they were sturdy and durable. We went with the chiavari mesh back chairs and they matched the fall cozy fairy vibe I was going for. Thank you!

We received many compliments on our rentals including the string lights, table decor, and linens. Thank you again for helping us bring our vision to life!

Weekend pricing was a crazy amount at $459 for both drop off and pickup. So I made arrangements to have pickup on the Monday, to save some money. I had to fight to get anything back. and it was not what I expected at all... At least the setup crew was great and quick.
Kim was so unprofessional. Was even going to give me the wrong size tables when they had the correct size. Never use them again.

The team at Special Event Rentals Calgary is beyond wonderful. I cannot thank them enough. From Ms. Kim who managed all of our rental bookings and changes without one misstep, to the team in the warehouse who work so hard to make sure nothing is missed, all the way to the drivers Dale and Manelo who dealt with on the spot changes when they arrived to deliver at the venue.

Our school graduation was perfect because of the exceptional team at SER Calgary. Thank you, thank you, thank you for everything, you help us create a beautiful and memorable event.

I met some Brits in the hot tub of my hotel & they told me they are in town to do "horse jumping" at Spruce Meadows. I've never heard of that, so I went to check it out. From the parking lot attendants, to tickets, to ushers, everyone was welcoming, warm & friendly! Parking was free, admission was $25, it's clean, has beautiful decor, ample shopping & places to eat, two rings to see shows. I saw my hotel friends at the international ring. Got to see the "musical ride" from the Canadian Mounted Police. See 2 main competitions and it was wonderful! 50th Anniversary, and the 'Masters". I got to see the world Blacksmith competition make horse shoes. At the end see the English Royal Guards, a military band, play at the final ceremony! This was a picture perfect day! To my hot tub pals, it was a pleasure to see you perform! I highly recommend you give this a try! Love everything about this place! ❤️

This was my seventh or eighth visit but my first time for The National and first time purely as a spectator. As always, there was top show jumping, beautiful immaculate grounds, free parking. The ticket prices are affordable, too. We had a great day out. Will be back again. Happy 50th Spruce Meadows and thank you!

My review of "The Masters" at Spruce Meadows. It was a fantastic family fun day with so much to see and do. The highlight for us was definitely the kids' area. The face painting, button making, petting zoo, and bounce house were a real treat for my toddler, and she absolutely loved it.

She also had a blast watching the dogs on the obstacle course and, of course, enjoyed all the delicious food and treats available throughout the grounds. The train ride was a bit underwhelming for the adults, as it was a little hard to see and had to stop to avoid scaring the horses, but it was nice to see a few horses in their stalls and get a close-up view.

Always such a fun experience. Horse jumping is truly an under appreciated sport. The team work between rider and horse is beautiful to watch. Whether you know the sport or not it’s something to experience . Spruce meadows is always so beautiful, lots of fun things to do.

Spruce Meadows is one of those magical places that makes you feel happy inside. There is so much to do and see for the whole family. If you haven't been, I highly encourage you to experience this amazing place.

I recently had a wedding event at The Baron and had an absolute amazing experience. From inquiring about the event to executing it, it was perfect. Thr staff was super accommodating especially with last minute changes. The food was incredible! They helped with setup and take down and did everything to ensure we had a great experience.

The price point is ideal for small to large groups. Plenty of hotels close by with an added discount. My out of town guests were close to the airport and major highways

Ill 100% use this venue again and will hire them for catering events also!

I cannot say enough good things about this space and the team at The Baron. From the moment I reached out and even after our event Shae, Sarah and her team have been so highly organized, friendly, and supportive.
I hosted our company awards gala at this space in February and was so happy with how everything turned out! The staff had everything organized ahead of time and were so easy to work with. We encountered some sound issues during our presentation which the staff helped out tremendously with. The food and drinks were lovely and our attendees loved how much parking was available!
We’re excited to host our 2025 events with them!

The Baron was amazing to work with for our October wedding! The space checked off all the boxes for the mood of our wedding. The food was so delicious and had a great variety to choose from. The staff was always responsive and provided top-tier service. Highly recommend if you are looking for an intimate gathering for a great price!

My program's graduation party was held at the Baron and it was such a wonderful event. The venue itself is a fantastic space - very intimate yet open. Both before and during the event the staff were incredibly helpful, had great communication, and took care of all details. Guests raved about the buffet and were so impressed with how well the kitchen accommodated a variety of dietary restrictions including halal, vegetarian, gluten free, nut free, and lactose intolerant. Everyone was also really happy with the variety of drinks and pricing at the bar.

I highly recommend checking out the Bridal Centre. It’s a very beautiful venue. I had my appointment with Katie. She was very kind and helpful. She gave suggestions for alterations to make the dresses look and fit the way I envisioned. This was my first dress appointment and I found the one. I will be using some of Katie’s ideas for the alterations as well. Thank you so much for making me feel comfortable and finding my dress :)

Cecilia was WONDERFUL!! I am so happy she was the one helping me find my wedding dress! Cecilia knew exactly what I was looking for and pulled the most beautiful dresses for me to try on, all while making sure myself and my group were taken care of. It was a lovely experience, and I would definitely recommend booking!

Excellent place for anything wedding or graduation dresses. The seamstress that did the alterations was amazing and even went above and beyond. She fixed the flower on my daughter's bridal shoes. She also taught my other daughter the miad of honour how to fix the bustle on her wedding dress. We are so pleased that we choose The Bridal Centre in Calgary for my daughter's special day!

Cecilia was AMAZING!! Truly I couldn’t have hoped for a better experience trying on dresses for the first time. Listened to everything I was saying and asking, and truly focused on me throughout the whole appointment. Gave me alternate options and was able to give me options and show me different ways to change dresses and make a dress exactly my dream dress!! Would recommend to EVERYONE I know !! (:

Using my fiances gmail to write this review - I had a bridal appointment with Diana and needless to say she was absolutely wonderful. So lovely, kind and supportive. The selection was amazing and she pulled all the right dresses for me. Overall an incredible experience and would absolutely recommend brides in Calgary come here!

We had a wonderful stay at The Dorian! Valet was super helpful, check-in warm and welcoming, and we were upgraded to a beautiful city-view room stocked with Aesop products, snacks, and drinks. Our sleep was amazing, the shower was incredible, and the bed very comfortable.

Room service went above and beyond—accepting a late order and even offering complimentary breakfast to resolve a steak issue. We slept in and skipped breakfast on checkout day, but the exchange point credit given instead was perfect.

Overall: chic boutique charm, excellent service, and a fun, stylish vibe. Perfect for a weekend getaway or quick stop on your travels!

The Dorian is a phenomenal establishment with a great name! The hotel is beautiful and the staff are incredible. The art in the lobby was very creative.

I would especially like to recommend that Baxter (valet) be given a raise. He was incredibly informative and friendly and made me feel right at home during our visit to this great place. I will be putting in a good word for him with management.

I stayed at this hotel last Sunday. The hotel itself was very nice, and the room was clean and tidy. However, apart from late check-out, I did not receive any of my Platinum benefits.
When I inquired at the front desk about the welcome gift, the staff member simply replied, “Only points.” However, according to Marriott’s Terms & Conditions, I should be able to choose between an F&B credit and welcome points, and for properties without a club lounge, guests should receive either points or complimentary breakfast in lieu of lounge access.
In my case, I only received the 1,000-point welcome bonus and did not receive any points or complimentary breakfast for the missing lounge benefit. I also did not receive a room upgrade (which I understand may not be possible at a busy property), nor was I offered the choice between welcome points and F&B service.
Furthermore, when I requested room slippers, the front desk told me they would be delivered to my room, but even after several hours, they never arrived. I had to follow up with a second staff member before I finally received them.
While I expected the service of a luxurious hotel, the staff’s attentiveness and communication unfortunately did not meet that standard, which left me disappointed.

Disappointing Experience – Far Below Marriott Standards

I usually never complain, but I’ll make an exception for The Dorian, Autograph Collection by Marriott.

I get that people would fairly rate this hotel very well—it’s beautifully decorated and stylish, and I’m sure my experience doesn’t reflect that of every guest. In my opinion, the issue I faced could have been resolved easily, but maybe I just had the wrong staff at the lobby this time. So, just be cautious.

I arrived early and politely asked for the room I had reserved: a King bed with a city view. I was even willing to wait until the official check-in time, so there was no excuse for not honoring the request. However, the room I received had no city view—just a view of the side of another building. When I followed up with the front desk, they claimed that no King room with a city view would be better than what I had. I seriously doubt that was true.

Second, be cautious with the “breakfast included” option when booking. Breakfast for one person costs over $40, yet all you actually receive is a $25 credit on the menu. Since the restaurant is inside the hotel and serves only hotel guests, this feels misleading at best—if not an outright scam.

Overall, this experience was well below the quality I expect from a Marriott hotel.

But to be fair, the room itself was nice—view aside.

My husband stayed here for a night after arriving at the Calgary airport on our way to the Rockies. I really wished we had had more time! The room, service, views, and food were all spectacular. I loved the many whimsical ways that Oscar Wilde was incorporated in the design and concept. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go downtown and enjoyed meals at the Wilde and Provisions bar. I was also genuinely impressed by the selection at the mini bar in the room, and would have tried more of the offerings if we had had more time. Highly recommend for anyone stopping in Calgary for a city break!

Multi-level facility with one large ballroom for hosting events or weddings. They've maintained the theater-vibe which is quite unique. Sound system is superb and they have a large projector screen. Servers are polite and professional. They also have a large bar area upstairs for hosting cocktail receptions.
It's probably expensive to host an event here, but if you're looking for a more classic environment this might work well.

Shot a wedding reception here during the summer and found their ambiance unbeatable! Their interior is gorgeous, and having an upper "viewing" area for cocktail hour and the first dance was so unique. And ofc, wedding portraits outside at night is a must because the lights and the sign are perfect for "hollywood" vibes

We had our wedding at The Eglinton Grand and could not have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly — my wife and I truly felt taken care of the entire day. The food was outstanding and so many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed it. The atmosphere was unforgettable, and our guests had an amazing time celebrating with us. If you’re looking for a venue that combines elegance, excellent service, and a team that genuinely cares, The Eglinton Grand is the perfect choice!

On the day of, Paula and Gleb ensured everything ran seamlessly, working with us throughout the night to ensure the couple was well taken care of — the Eglinton Grand Team went above and beyond and it led to an incredible experience for all the vendors and especially for our couple. We cant thank you enough!

The space itself is stunning and unique, the food is absolutely delicious, the service is fantastic and the atmosphere is top notch! If you are looking for an epic space to host your next wedding or event, we would highly recommend the Eglinton Grand.

When did actually go in November 10th event it was nice and fun place and the parking is nearby only so you can park there and there are a couple of parking options nearby cheap options this whole consists of two places of bottom floor and the ground floor but it's just very squeaky because it's made out of wood

Mark and the staff at the Great Hall hosted our wedding and did an incredible job.

Mark is very accommodating and easy to work with. The coordination with vendors was seamless.

The bar service was fantastic. Great drinks, no waits, good times.

I would highly recommend the Great Hall.

The Great Hall is a stunning concert venue that also serves as a wonderful location for a wedding. The staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Everyone at the Great Hall was very genuinely invested in making sure our event went well from start to finish. While there were a few unexpected turns, the staff at the Great Hall did a wonderful job of working with our vendors to keep things running smoothly. We didn’t really know how much went in to putting on a big event like this, but having the support and expertise of Mark and his team made the process a whole lot easier, and the end result was absolutely perfect!

Yea solid venue, love concert halls this size, feels very intimate and connected to the music and band but still big enough to have a decent size crowd that can really roar. Toronto has a few venues like this now and it's great, typically the shows are more affordable and offers options to more obscure bands that still make it worthwhile coming here as they can fill the hall.

Security was fast and efficient. Getting through the doors was easy. The bar was well stocked and service was prompt. Everything was clean and organized and well laid out.

Two criticisms
1 The sound crew seemed to have some issues mixing for both bands. Both bands were signaling them throughout their sets. This is not exclusively a problem to the great hall, every venue in Toronto has this issue it seems like. Can the sound techs in the city please figure it out? The music is always A) too loud to the point that speakers are peaking and B) instruments aren't mixed well where you always have one instrument over powering the others. Please, please, please - venue owners you need to pressure the sound techs to do better, more testing, more practice, more work with the artist ahead of time etc because we are robbing fans by not being able to hear these artists at their best.

2 It was way too hot in there. Try improving the A/C, if it was even on?

It didn't ruin my experience but overall I feel like it could have been more fun if the mixing and temperature were improved.

I've photographed several weddings in this beautiful space and I always love coming back! So much character and charm in the main hall. The light in the Drawing Room and the Conversation Room is beautiful for ceremonies & cocktail hour. Lovely staff too!

The Herb Garden is hands down one of my favourite wedding venues in the Ottawa area. As a photographer, I’ve had the joy of capturing many weddings here, and each time I’m reminded of just how special this place is. The gardens are absolutely stunning, the rustic charm is unmatched, and every little corner offers a beautiful backdrop for photos.

The owners, Katey and Nathan, are truly wonderful to work with—so kind, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making each wedding day unforgettable. They care deeply about their space and the couples who choose it, and it shows in every little detail.

Having our wedding at this venue was a dream come true. It was magical and our guests loved it. What an absolutely perfect place to have a wedding!
My husband and I recently got married at The Herb Garden and it was the most perfect atmosphere we could have asked for. The decor that they have set up (even before we set up any of our own decor!) is so beautiful and elegant and it makes adding your own spin so very easy!
Katey and Nathan are extremely easy to work with and communicate very efficiently. On our wedding day they were busy behind the scenes making sure everything was running smoothly, but you never would have even known they were there!

We had access to everything we needed while we were there, including a bridal lounge, buffet/dessert barn, washrooms, open fields, a gazebo, indoor and outdoor bar area, various extra decor pieces, and so much more.
Dozens of our guests came up to us during the evening telling us what an amazing venue we chose and how it was so personable and cozy, and we could not agree more.

If you are looking for a beautiful wedding location out in the country, you will find none better than The Herb Garden!

If it wasn't for this venue, we would have likely cancelled our wedding. It was the most perfect, beautiful venue and was exactly what we were looking for. We only saw one venue, and booked it before we left.
On top of that, the owners are the most amazing people and are perfect for this industry. Katey and Nathan don't just provide you the venue, but provide you the opportunity to make your wedding how you want it. The flexibility of bringing in our own catering, alcohol service, music options, and more made our wedding feel unique and that's what we were looking for. They are there to help and guide you as needed, and are so unbelievably helpful leading up to the event. And then night of, my goodness they were superstars. There is an endless list of compliments that we can give to this venue, but even more so about the amazing owners.
Please, do yourself a favour and just visit this venue if you have any desire for an outdoor barn style wedding. And make sure to meet with Katey and Nathan. And then just take it in before you make a decision. Because I can tell you, this is the right spot for your wedding!

Our client had her wedding at this amazing venue and it was breathtaking! The decor and the details were stunning. We had a great time operating our Photo Booth at such a beautiful location.

I cannot speak higher of the Loft.

First, and most importantly, the main thing we wanted was delicious food for our wedding. The Loft delivered and then some. Everyone was raving about the food. We did the southern BBQ buffet style and it was perfect. No let down of a dish. I had to request to shake the chef's hand after our event it was so good.

Rebecca, our point of contact leading up to the event, was extremely responsive via email. She worked with my wife to ensure we were all setup, including accommodating every one of our tiny requests.

Apologies in advance because day of, we were assisted mainly by two individuals who have names that I am sure are often misspelled, but Steven (?) and Katelynn(?) seemed like they popped up exactly when we needed them with a smile to assist. We left our card box at home, they were able to provide one upon request. They made sure that my wife and I were fed and watered as well, which I was told by many married people before me is sometimes difficult to guarantee on your big day with all of your hosting obligations. They were pros and it showed.

The venue itself was breathtaking. Everything was taken care of in terms of big things for décor by Distillery Events. Because all of the décor was handled, including table runners and beautiful chairs, we could focus on the little things that gave the event a personal touch. We just handled the cake, a donut wall, our centrepieces, and name cards. Distillery Events has a list of recommended vendors, but we were allowed to bring in whoever we wanted to work with.

The hanging lights and exposed brick give a beautifully rustic feel. Our guests used words like "magic" and "fairy tale" to describe the atmosphere.

We thought it was perfect and exactly what we wanted. THANK YOU to everyone at Distillery Events for making the process so stress free so that we could enjoy one of the biggest celebrations of our lives.

A very beautiful spot for the wedding. F&B minimums are great, food was very good. The backdrop is as well perfect (if you are ok spending the extra $500, which luckily we got for free). The mulled wine in winter was amazing. Only gripe is loading in and out is tough, and it's not wheel chair accessible.

Good location to host a wedding for a small group of people. Food was great, staff were great. The venue looks amazing.

I had my wedding reception at the loft and it was amazing! Everyone loved the food, and the venue itself was so pretty it barely needed decoration! Melissa was my coordinator, she answered all of my questions leading up to my event and was such a great help the day of. We got the nicest photos in the distiller district before the event! Highly recommend :)

What a fantastic venue! It gets really loud when everybody is talking but you can easily have smaller conversations with people. The food and service is amazing. I would love to come back for another function, hopefully soon!

Loft on King provided an ideal venue for our recent holiday party, impressing us with its well-designed open floor space and inviting bar area. The open layout allowed our guests to mingle comfortably, enhancing the festive atmosphere. Notably, the staff at Loft on King were exceptionally friendly and attentive, contributing to the overall pleasant experience. They efficiently catered to our needs, serving a variety of drinks and delicious finger foods that were a hit among the attendees. Additionally, the coat check service was a thoughtful and much-appreciated convenience, especially during the busy holiday season. The location of Loft on King is another highlight, offering direct TTC access which made it extremely convenient for our guests to reach the venue. Overall, our holiday party at Loft on King was a memorable event, thanks to the excellent facilities and the warm hospitality of the staff.

Went for a private xmas function. Staff we very nice, food was amazing. I ordered a beer when i got there and it was room temp. I asked why and they just put ice in the cooler. Ok no fridge maybe get someone up there an hour before . At 10 bucks a beer i dont think thats acceptable took a while before they started getting cold.

The Loft on King Street in Toronto is a fantastic spot! The cozy ambiance, delicious food, and friendly staff made my visit amazing. I loved the vibe and the location—definitely a must-visit place!

Went there for my birthday. We requested bottle service, the supervisor approved one bottle and booth. They took my husband’s ID and credit card for the bottle service.

After the bottle was finished the staff approached one of the guests saying “are you ready for the second bottle now” which guest thought it was already included and consented upon based on their approach. Not sure why the information didn’t come back to my husband but that’s another issue for another time.

Husband ended up on the hook for the additional bottle as a result, and never received his ID back. Ended up trying to escalate to management and the staff did not get back to me. Followed up and spoke to manager Maria who said my ID is not there, and said she would check cameras however never followed up with me despite promise to do so and did not return my call. Highly suggest staying away from this place as they have poor service and management.
