Monique did such a fantastic job in capturing the little moments and details that made our day as special as it was. Although my brother in law was obviously uncomfortable with all the portraits, she even managed to get a couple of good ones of him. She was professional, timely and the pictures are beautiful. Her positive energy and attention to detail has not gone unnoticed.

Monique did an amazing job photographing our wedding in September, 2013. She was so positive, relaxed and patient, everybody loved her! I didn't have to worry about a thing as Monique knew exactly what she was doing. She was also very discrete during the ceremony and captured some really breathtaking shots. Leading up to the wedding we did a site visit of our wedding venue so that they would know where to get some of the best shots. On the day of our wedding they were beyond amazing. Every moment was captured perfectly and the photos turned out amazing. We booked them for the full day to ensure we could capture some amazing photos from the dance in addition to all of the Ceremony, Portrait, and Reception photos.

Our guests were even raving about how awesome our photographers were, and that they could not wait to see all of the pictures. All of our pictures turned out amazing - and each time I look at them I get to relive each tiny moment that happened on our big day. Highly recommend!

I had an excellent experience at Studio Lumen. I booked a session to get some headshots and also had my makeup done on-site. Jean-Marc and Fawzia were both outstanding to work with being both attentive, detail-oriented, as well as highly professional. Used Studio Lumen for a series of headshots. They set up in our office and did a great job. Their team was interacting with staff at a variety of levels including executives. They were able to keep things moving efficiently and I genuinely think the team had fun going through the process. The photos themselves are excellent and captured a fresh look. I find the corporate headshot look can get stale and a bit cliche. Appreciate their creativity and quality of work. From a personal perspective I highly recommend.

The shoot took an entire day as I wanted various angles of quite a few food products. They used tethered capture, so I was able to see and approve the photos as we moved along.

Tam is a truly creative and passionate photographer who is also an expert at helping you feel at ease! I have gotten professional headshots done for work and also family photos with Jay and Nandini, this power couple got candid shots of my 3 kids reflecting their personalities to the core, each the experience was phenomenal. I recommend working with them for all your visual needs.

Unfortunately our experience was extremely disappointing. Once the contract was signed and deposit paid we had NO communication. It was extremely frustrating. I ended up opening a new email account to get rid of the "I never got your email" excuse. No matter what email we chose to use (out of 4 differnt emails from different providers)it still "never was sent".

We had to do the scouting of our locations ourselves- and the location i chose and PAID for, was not even used! I even said during the photos how I wanted my indoor location and was told "no, they would just take more out doors"instead of moving indoors where it was warmer and had certain photos I wanted at that location.

Our budget was not worked with; We were promised service we never received. We never talked through our "set list" hopes.

I had tried desperately to explain how important the photos were to us and we just got taken.
As proper business- once they realized how unhappy I was after the engagement session that there were SO many problems instead of ignoring our concerns- they should have steped down and allowed us an out to choose someone else. Not string us along until it was MUCH to late to change.

My concerns and requests were ignored. The photos were VERY stiff and posed. My guests were uncomfortable with taking them. There were no black and white photos as requested. There was no imagination in any of the photos. EXTREMELY repetitive. Many photos I requested were missed.

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience at all- the extremely poor communication was a huge disappointment. We were not understood in what we wanted and it resulted it many missed photos and many unwanted photos in its place.

We had a wonderful day and Timeless provided us with wonderful memories to hold onto. Even though we are really not photogenic, the photographers were so fun, genuine and easy to talk to that it all felt very natural and fun.
The photographer was even so kind as to let us take very memorable photos on his personal motorcycle!
It was also well planned so that we got to meet our photographer for the engagement shoot and had the same photographer for the day of the wedding (it was great practice!).
We also really appreciate and couldn't believe how quickly they sent us the engagement photo shoot pictures already edited as we were pressed for time. In addition, 3 days after the wedding they already sent us hundreds of teasers that were great for writing reviews and sending to friends. They were flexible, even when we made changes to the plan the day of the wedding and had no problem travelling between Toronto and Barrie for our wedding.
We would definitely recommend Timeless and want to say a big thank you again for their help in making it such an amazing day!

We hired Focus Photography for our July 27 wedding at The Arlington Estate and they exceeded every expectation. The team arrived early, worked seamlessly with us and kept our timeline perfectly on track.

We hired 2 photographers and 2 videographers and we liked that none of the shots are over edited or over filtered, they just capture the moment. They balanced elegant portraits with authentic candid moments—our families and guests look amazing in every shot. Lighting, composition, and attention to detail were impeccable, and they guided us with gentle, clear direction so we always felt comfortable in front of the camera. Delivery was timely (within 3 weeks of our wedding we received all deliverables) and the final edits are stunning: crisp, vibrant, and timeless. We’re so grateful to the entire Focus team—highly recommended without hesitation!

We had an engagement photoshoot with Rocco which we absolutely enjoyed! All the photos turned out so well we couldn't decide which one was our favourite. Rocco was such a great photographer to work with, giving us cues for poses, smiles and gentle guidance that made us feel confident and comfortable. After the session, we were certain that he'd do a great job on our wedding day too.

On our wedding day, Rocco was punctual, patient (with all our family insisting to take photos with their phones), and extremely professional! Although we haven't recieved our final edit photos, even the unedited sneak peek were amazing so we know we're going to be blown away by the final shots! Rocco has such a good eye for beautiful backgrounds and poses, you'd never feel lost.

The administration side was also incredibly seamless. Payment was secure and emails were promptly responded to. We couldn't be happier with our choice to go with Focus!

Union Eleven was great to work with right from the very start. Although there is no shortage of talented wedding photographers in Ottawa, what set them apart during our ‘search’ was their responsiveness to our questions and willingness to work with our not-so-ordinary schedule on our wedding day. The lead up to the wedding is a stressful time, but Union Eleven was asking all of the right questions about times, locations and people to ensure that they would be well prepared to capture our special day.

Derrick and Jessica are both super down to earth, and it was easy to get comfortable in front of the camera with them. Sometimes it’s hard to seem natural when you know you’re being photographed, but I can’t say enough about how easy it was to work with them.

The turnaround time to receive our photos was much faster than we anticipated, and we couldn’t be happier with the results!

We were married in early October 2020 in Ottawa and with upholding public health guidelines we wanted to balance having our close family and friends present for the ceremony- this is where Union Eleven came in with their live streaming services.
We were able to have both a small in-person ceremony and have an opportunity for our family and friends across the country to share in our special day. Union Eleven was able to live-stream using different vantage points and ensuring that our microphones were active/muted at appropriate times.
Andrew arrived early to the venue to allow for plenty of time for set up. I was glad to hear that I wouldn't need to wear a microphone with my dress and my husband's microphone would pick up normal talking volume with no issues.
I was extremely happy with the streamed content, and I have been able to download it as an amazing memento to watch again. I would definitely recommend this live streaming service to anyone planning their special day!

We were in Calgary for two days and needed to get some pictures clicked immediately to send it for some purpose. Varun politely accommodated to our needs, conversed nicely and charged fairly. Before Paul arrived at my venue, it felt like so many little things were going wrong and that my wedding was not a priority to any of my vendors. Paul honestly made my wedding day. He made us feel so special. During my husband's shoot with his groomsmen, a beautiful vintage car rolled up to the venue and Paul just walked right up to the guy and asked him to use the car in the shoot. He knew it would make the shot, and it definitely did. I honestly feel that only someone with his experience could have seen the car and thought to do this. During my shoot, what was supposed to be just some pictures around the horse stable on site, turned into him shooting me and a horse (a rather energetic one at that!), he rolled with it like the pro he is. These are just a couple examples of how Paul went above and beyond for us on our day.
Every shot was amazing, people think I spent thousands but honestly his prices are extremely reasonable. So check with Couvrette Studio first, and compare everyone else against him... but I guarantee you Paul is the best wedding investment you will make!

Such a pleasure to work with Paul on our wedding day! It started with a last minute change of location due to the weather and Paul quickly pivoting to find the best spots for our photoshoot in a new environment. TaraWeddings did such an amazing job photographing and filming our wedding! We couldn't be happier with how the photos turned out, and the videos are absolutely breathtaking! I cry every time I watch them!
They really took their time to get to know what we wanted, and made sure to get all the little details just right. And they were fun to have there too! They just blended into our group, and made us laugh, it didn't feel forced or unnatural at all. They felt like part of the family!

I don’t know where to start. I contacted Paul back in winter few months before my wedding and he called me right away. I told him what we’re willing to pay and he right away agreed. Our wedding ceremony was different and long and I sent him a document and a video of all the important details of the wedding ceremony and asked him to make sure all these shots are taken. Keep in mind this is an ongoing prayer. Paul, alongside his team didn’t miss a single shot of them. In fact, they took way more than we expected. Our wedding was in Ottawa and they drove all the way from the GTA and had to travel at 4AM to make it for our getting ready pictures. They also had to drive back the same night after the wedding which was 11PM at night! The whole team had so much energy, which really helped us and our guests to be relaxed and even entertained. I myself am a photographer and I know how photographers do things, and let me say Paul and his team surpassed every expectation we had. They were very detail oriented. They were very present and joyful. It was also very very easy to be ourselves around them. It’s not easy at all for a photographer to make people feel comfortable and make them laugh or joyful easily. But they did that so well and so naturally. I would say you don’t feel them around at all. They also felt very personable. A lot of guests from our wedding told us how much they enjoyed their presence. Again all of this is talking about their personalities and who they are. When it comes to their profession and the work they did, I could write an essay. First of all they gave us the pictures and the videos in almost no time. We came back from the honeymoon and they were already done. We are in LOVE with everything they sent us. They didn’t miss a single shot. They got way more than we expected. Trust me as a photographer, their work is insane and I am very very picky but they overdid themselves.

I even referred 3 of my friends that are getting married this summer to Paul and they’re going with him and they’re excited because they already met him and the team at my wedding. 

Lastly, I cannot thank Paul and the team enough for all the work they’ve done for us. They made our day so special and memorable. We truly enjoyed their work and their presence. In fact I am excited to see them again at my friends’ weddings. Please do yourself a favour and go with them. Tara Wedding Photography and Videography made our wedding day complete. My husband and I got married on June 11 2022 and they made everything go really smoothly and worked with us when other vendors weren’t being the greatest. They got beautiful candid photos of my husband and I that we will forever cherish. I reached out to Ben when looking for a wedding photographer. His photos stood out to me for being so beautiful with soft light, and capturing the true emotion of the subjects. We had a zoom call (Covid times) and he was so lovely and dedicated to the art of photography, we felt very comfortable working with him.
Ben photographed our engagement photos as well, and we were so impressed by his work. He is able to capture the light of a sunset that gave our photos a magical glow.
