Jane is nothing short of amazing. From the moment we met her, she put us at ease. She is relaxed yet professional, friendly and organized. She made the entire process simple and straight forward, during a time when the most basic task can seem overwhelming. It’s clear Jane cares deeply for the couples she works with and creates a unique ceremony for each wedding. She provides great examples for a ceremony and advice on how to personalize it. She also just has a way of making the nerves melt away when standing at the alter so that you can be wholly present in the moment (even when the unexpected train makes a cameo during the ceremony!).

It is hard to put into works how thankful and appreciative we are to Jane. From start to finish she was so easy to communicate with and it was very easy to find times to meet up as she was very accommodating to our schedules. Jane also has a PA system which really helped project our voices as our ceremony was outdoors. She has an amazing personality and was so thoughtful, friendly and fun throughout the whole process. How do I even begin to explain all the reasons I would recommend Julianne Young Weddings? Simply put, Julianne and her team are absolute angels who blew our expectations out of the water.

I can honestly say that hiring Julianne as our planner was the best decision we could have made. We chose Julianne as our planner based on glowing reviews from our friends, who had a stunning and flawlessly executed wedding. From our first email and meeting with Julianne, we were so impressed. The planning of our wedding was complicated- we planned the wedding in only a few months from London UK, during the covid pandemic. The wedding was held at my grandparents' cabin in Kananaskis Country, Alberta. The cabin is rustic, hard-to-find, and has literally no reception. In short, there was so much uncertainty and so many ways things could have gone wrong! But Julianne was by our side every step of the way; we never doubted she had everything under control. Julianne maintained a positive outlook while also being realistic with us about possible challenges related to the pandemic, our remote and rustic venue, and our budget.

Julianne, her team, and the vendors she selected executed an event that felt truly magical. When we arrived at the cabin on our wedding day and we saw how Julianne had brought the vision to life, I was truly speechless (and then burst into happy tears!). Julianne had brought to life dreams I didn't even know I had! Throughout the day, Julianne and her team worked behind the scenes to ensure that every single moment went smoothly; we never had to worry about a thing.

In summary, I give Julianne Young my highest recommendation. She is truly exceptional at her job- her skills in communication, organisation, and creativity are top notch. But on top of that, Julianne is just a truly lovable human who you can't help but want to spend time with!

Simply put, Shannon was absolutely wonderful to work with. We decided to get married during a very busy time of our lives, so we knew we would need an expert to make it happen, while limiting the extra stress on us. Shannon delivered exactly that. She carefully assembled an expert team of wedding vendors who made our day absolutely perfect.

It was a breeze working with Shannon on my micro-wedding. She was able to help us organize a traditional style wedding with a lot of cultural elements with 5 weeks of notice! The constant reminders and status updates made us feel looped in the process.

Both my wife and I, are not residents of Ottawa but the wedding took place there. We had a lot of doubts of how to plan a wedding in a different city but Shannon made sure to set up everything perfectly with all the venders without us having to be worried about anything. From decor to venue and everything in between, she had amazing recommendations for each item on our list and took care of booking, logistics and timeline. Communication was excellent on her end. She is a very warm and enthusiastic person.

I honestly think it would not have been possible to have my wedding in a short time without Shannon’s help and expertise.

Where to even begin - good news is we had just secured our dream wedding venue, the bad news is we had less than a year to plan the biggest event we had ever thrown.

Finding Shannon was a godsend. We had an instant connection on our initial meet as she instantly put us at ease. She kept us completely organized throughout the process and really took the time to get to know us in order to give us a day that truly reflects our vision and personalities down to the littlest detail.

Having Shannon running the day allowed us to actually enjoy it. As she told us countless times she wanted us to enjoy the day like our guests and boy did we ever. The whole day went off without a hitch and we were able to just take in one of the most important days of our lives and celebrate with our friends and family.

We were truly blessed to have Shannon and the wedding team that she had helped assembled for a truly magical day. For sure 12/10 recommend!

To put it simply, Shannon is the best. My wedding day was PERFECT thanks to her and I was able to soak up every minute of it because I trusted Shannon fully with my vision. There was an issue with the shuttles we had ordered but I had zero idea because Shannon made sure to keep it away from me and handled it all. I felt so much relief having her by my side. The entire year she was such a massive help, making sure vendor contracts looked good and also aided in finding vendors when it seemed like all were booked up. From start to finish, she was a rock and constant support. Anyone’s wedding will go incredibly with Shannon in their corner 🫶🏻

We can't thank Sadie enough for the absolutely stunning wedding photos! They are beyond gorgeous, and we can't stop looking at them. Sadie captured our love and special moments even better than we ever imagined. We contacted her as soon as her bookings opened for our wedding the following year, and it was one of the best decisions we made!

She has a way of making us feel so comfortable in front of the camera without it feeling posed at all. We love the candid shots that capture real, heartfelt moments. Sadie even made sure my wife’s hair looked perfect in every shot, taking the time to fix it when needed—such a thoughtful touch!

Sadie was so wonderful to work with for our wedding. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and are so happy with our photos. Before meeting with Sadie I viewed pictures from other weddings at our venue which often gave off dark lighting. This wasn’t my preference and I explained that to Sadie when we met. She discussed the ways she’d over come the lighting issue and did a wonderful job capturing it the way I wanted. She also did a great job of making my husband feel more comfortable in front of the camera. We came up with plans for more private spaces and he was pleased with the experience. Sadie is the wedding photographer you need! She is kind, professional, has great expertise and on top of all that she takes beautiful photos. When I came across Sadie's instagram while searching for a photographer, I immediately knew that I wanted to work with her. I was drawn into her photos; which were vibrant and full of story telling, and I wanted to support a female owned business that champions and celebrates inclusivity and all types of love. I, likely many people, sometimes struggle with having my photos taken. I often do not like the end results and have a tendency to pick apart the images. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Kazari! I had contacted a few planners but Kazari immediately stood out to me with her joyful and generous spirit. From the very beginning, she was incredibly friendly, approachable, and full of knowledge. Cannot say enough wonderful things about Leaside Studio's. We had an event for 20 women on June 24th and it was the perfect atmosphere. When you walk it's bright, very clean, great furniture and props, cozy, comfortable, kitchen which we needed, warm ambience and most of all our host Ashley. Ashley helped us set-up (moving some furniture around), took pictures and videos for us, interacted with the group, participated in our event (we invited her to join), supported our needs and was very informative on content creation.
The space is great for any event that doesn't exceed more than 25-30 people, depending on what you are doing.
Highly recommend this space for what I noted above, but the prices to rent it are very reasonable. They offer a variety of packages as well.

Love this studio and love Ania. When I was planning an in person event, Ania helped in so many ways. I’m not from Canada but my co-creator of the event is. Her team and her took care of the small details I forgot to think about. Plus love love the space. It’s specious enough for 25-30 people. And I love the fun places to create content all around the studio. If you are thinking of doing a live recording of a podcast or live streaming show or just creating short videos for your social media. Or even planning an event to having a meeting, choose Leaside Studio. You will not regret it.

I’ve been to this venue twice for women’s networking events and it’s been such a wonderful experience. The space is welcoming and bright. We were able to capture such great content there. I will definitely be renting this space for my upcoming events!

Great event space, hosted my immediate family and the grooms side family for a south asian pre wedding event (Mayoun). We had a lot of fun and the staff had fast responses to my inquiries. The decor that is provided is gorgeous and we added some of our own decor as well which made it a lovely event. Would recommend !

We had such a great experience using this event space for our wedding! The owners were wonderful to communicate with—quick to respond, accommodating, and made everything so easy from start to finish. We just celebrated our daughter’s birthday this past weekend. Excellent multi purpose recording studio. It doubles as a great rehearsal space with occasional live music performances, events and photo ops. Lost Tonic's unique single-use building and location allow for isolated, intimate rehearsal time and recording sessions, a quality many musicians and artists in the city struggle to find and maintain. The team has created a very relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, from the curated decor to general layout. The Lost Tonic team and community have put in an impressive amount of care and effort into creating a well maintained and highly functional operation. I highly recommend any artist, new or decorated, to reach out and explore the space and community around this studio.

Lost Tonic is an amazing space for rehearsing, recording, intimate shows or anything music related at all. It’s been my primary space for a few musical projects over the past year and has been a great home. It’s clean and well taken care of, with plenty of gear to support whatever you need. Overall an awesome place to be creative in.

Lost Tonic has become a home for my community of musicians. We've rehearsed, performed, and recorded music videos there. Well-equipped with great gear, it's a rare gem in a city where finding creative spaces can be a real challenge.

Intimate, Authentic and clearly a place where the Toronto Music Community can create great work, unique events and network with creatives.

Our band has rehearsed here for over a year and I can safely say it's our favourite rented space we've worked in thus far. Vibes are great, privacy is great, and we've even done some recordings here which exceeded our expectations.

We had such a wonderful experience here! The venue was absolutely beautiful and made our day feel so special. The photographer was not only talented but also super sweet, which made us feel comfortable and enjoy every moment. The makeup artist was very professional and did an amazing job, making me feel confident and radiant. Everything came together perfectly, and we couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend!

This place was perfect for our small wedding. We ordered the mini ceremony package, it came with the photographer for one hour, use of the space for 2 hours, all the decorations with florals was set up for us, and it even came with a bouquet and boutonniere. The process was very smooth and straight forward, with the ability to customize the music and the itinerary for the day. There were onsite coordinators that helped run everything smoothly and overall it was an amazing experience! i really loved the florals, and the welcome area for the guests and how it was set up. We had space for some snacks and drinks for our guests afterwards as well.

Rachel and Vivian made sure our wedding was a success. Amazing, efficient, and accommodating service with Markham Wedding Chapel and Gallery One Production. They made our special day beautiful and despite some setbacks, they worked around it and made sure things went as planned. I highly recommend this place! Elaine was amazing and answered my endless emails with great care. The day of our wedding was stress-free and efficiently run.

Our decorations, pre-wedding photoshoot, tea ceremony and wedding ceremony were perfect. I rented my dress from them and there were many staff members on hand that day. I didn't have to worry about a thing!

Cole did an amazing job officiating our elopement a couple weeks ago. We were blown away by how he thoughtfully integrated our favorite show, The Amazing Race, into his speech, personalizing it in such a meaningful way that reflected our journey and future together. My now-husband and I were truly impressed — we loved every minute of the ceremony. His words were inspiring, heartfelt, and emotional, leaving a lasting impression on us and our guests. I’ve been trying to find the words all week to thank Cole for officiating our wedding, so here goes.

If you’re looking for a boring, standard wedding ceremony, I know Cole would be able to create that for you, but you would be wasting his incredible talents. Cole through his process crafted for us a ceremony that had everybody confused why he wasn’t at the wedding reception because it was obvious that he knew us so well even though we had only met him in person that day. He listened to us in preparing for the ceremony to make it ours and his questionnaire was a fun date night that even helped us understand what we both wanted the ceremony to be like. Through the whole process Cole was professional and prompt with his communications and responsive to our adjustments. Given the detail that Cole went through with us in what felt like a short amount of time we had high expectations and he still blew us out of the water. Cole - thank you so much!

Honestly, I think the best thing I can share about Cole was... everything? He made both the vows and wedding ceremony super easy to plan out, and he was all about our fun ideas! He sent a questionnaire and then added all these amazing personal touches to our ceremony. The time and thought and customization he puts in to his ceremonies? Incomparable.
I mean this is the only time I’ve been married and the only time I plan to do it, but Cole stood out from the start, there was no other competition once I found him.

Megan was beyond amazing! She was so organized, and went above and beyond for us. We had nothing to worry about on the wedding day, she made sure the decor was perfect, met the DJ when he arrived, handled music for the ceremony, wrangled a massive bridal party, made sure everyone ate in a timely manner, and I know she did a million other things I didn't see. She had us on task leading up to the day as well, and made the whole process so smooth and easy. Not sure what we would have done without her, but she was an absolute life saver. We hosted our wedding at Oak & Pines and honestly it was the easiest decision of the wedding planning. This family owned business, close to Orleans, is absolutely stunning. The barn (main reception area) is rustic yet modern. The large grounds allow for many beautiful background for photos.

During our first visit in 2023, we were told there would be lots of renovation in the coming year. They did not disappoint. The addition of the sunshade ceremony space is absolutely amazing. Allowing guest to still be outside while still being covered by the elements. Although we had initially booked this venue due to the forest ceremony space, once we saw the sunshade it was an easy switch (also allowed us to have a DJ during the ceremony). The renovations of the inside were also beautiful.

They answered my endless emails quickly and thoroughly. They even went above and beyond and contacted one of my vendor directly so that everything would be set up correctly. Overall, we highly recommend this hidden gem.

We used Pulse Entertainment for our wedding and had a great experience! Mark was very organized and did a great job explaining the app they use that allows you to input songs you like, include must plays, timeline for the day/music, etc. On our wedding day Jeremie was our DJ and he was so friendly and attentive. We had some issues with the venue speakers towards the end of the night and Jeremie worked quickly to resolve the issue - thank goodness he had a back up speaker in his car, because the venue sound system was broken! I would certainly recommend Pulse Entertainment.

Oh my where do I start! From the second I meet Mark everything was easy leading right up to the big day! I had strange requests that my officiant did not want to do so I asked Mark and he said no problem! The app you can add music was so easy to work with. It was nice to choose some music as to what we like but I let Mark take full control! I said as long as the dance floor is full I do not care what you play and that’s just what he did. We did the Photo Booth and dj package and I would not change it for the world! I have had people come back after the wedding asking for his contact and that they have had other DJs and it was not like that! We booked Pulse Entertainment for our wedding in May and Mark kept the dance floor packed all night! He was fantastic to work with and sure knows how to keep the hype train going. Music during cocktail hour, dinner, and the rest of the reception was perfect, 10/10 would highly recommend. The app service made it super easy to organize any song requests we had and the optional photobooth service was an added bonus!

Mark DJ'ed our wedding two weeks ago at Le Belvedere and I cannot recommend him enough. Our wedding was on a Thursday, but we still wanted it to be an amazing party. Mark kept everyone on the dance floor all night and kept our reception and speeches on track during dinner. The whole day flowed so well thanks to him and we received a lot of compliments from friends and family that it was the best party people they had ever attended!

We used the app he sent us to add in a lot of our own music which was a ton of fun and he was super quick at responding to our last-minute questions, as well!

Rainbow and her team are phenomenal. I did not stress once during the day. She allowed me to be a guest and enjoy my own wedding. The day flowed seamlessly. I had a wedding with a very large bridal party (17!) and Rainbow was so organized - we were even ahead of schedule which never happens! She is always one step ahead and anticipates my every move. I could not recommend Rainbow enough. If you are starting to look into your wedding, this is your sign that you must book her!

We want to thank Rainbow and her team for helping with the month-of coordination of our wedding at Langdon Hall this past weekend. We also hired Rainbow to be our MC since many of our guests spoke Cantonese, and Rainbow could run the event in both English and Chinese.

From the beginning of hire, Rainbow was overall responsive in answering all the questions that we had. I am a pretty organized person myself and did not need much help picking out my own vendors, so the month-of coordination package was perfect for us.
