Krystal and the Fly Free team were of real value to us. Since we're from Holland and decided to have our wedding ceremony in Canada everything had to be arranged over distance. We were scared at first, especially because we had to give up all control, but Krystal made us feel really comfortable since the first meeting.

Graeme is a fantastic person and was a wonderful marriage commissioner. He is warm and caring and shows a genuine affection for the people he marries. He was flexible and courteous with our time, even helping us with a rehearsal 2 days prior to our wedding. Graeme married my sister and her new husband today and did an absolutely amazing job. He made everyone feel very comfortable and was very good at directing what was going to happen and where everyone needed to be. We had DJ Tonee for our wedding. Everything went smoothly with the music, sparklers, fog machines and up lighting. He is very responsive and easy to work with. Would recommend!

I cannot say enough about Tonee and the whole team at Interlace. We had a French-Canadian and Lebanese wedding and Dj Tonee played the perfect mix of music including English, Arabic, and French, as well as taking into account the group of people that were there and what kind of music they would like. We literally had people telling us how awesome the music was at our wedding for weeks afterwards, it was one of the main things they talked about. DJ Tonee also worked seamlessly with our Zaffe group, and had no problems at all with incorporating their music and orchestrating the whole thing. He made no mistakes with what music we wanted when we wanted. It was wonderful, and he worked so well with our friend who was our MC. He made our magical night so perfect and was so helpful and accessible. I cannot recommend him and Interlace enough.

The other part of Interlace that we used for our wedding was the photo booth, and it was AWESOME. The photo booth attendants even came u to us to make sure we were happy with the look of the photos before they let people take pictures which was so nice of them. They were so attentive to everyone taking photos and the backdrop and props were hilarious and fantastic, everyone loved them. It was definitely a main attraction at the wedding and worth every penny.

Thank you so much everyone at Interlace for not causing us any extra stress and actually being our lifesavers for music and entertainment. We so appreciate you and your whole staff for helping making us feel so special on our big day.

We had a Polish and Arab wedding and DJ Tonee did a great job mixing both cultures’ songs and keeping everyone on the dance floor! Our guests had a great time!

A wedding at home is a beautiful nightmare, and Bree was my superhero!

From start to finish, Bree was an absolute lifesaver. She was hired to execute my vision on the wedding day and let me actually enjoy the moment. But she did so much more than that. I called her with my random questions, crazy ideas, and even just to vent about vendors. She was patient, kind, and always knew how to steer me in the right direction.

On the big day, she truly shined. She understood my vision and executed everything flawlessly, elevating my ideas with her own special touches. If there were any hiccups, I had no idea because she handled every single one without a word. The next day, while I relaxed and enjoyed time with family, she came back and took everything down.

Bree went above and beyond, and I can't thank her enough. She’s the reason my day was perfect. From now on, I will not plan a party without her. My next event is officially in her hands!

Bree did an amazing job with our 2019 wedding. We hired her for day of coordination and set up/tear down. From the moment we met I could tell we would be in good hands. The best decision I made when planning my wedding was hiring Bree and her team for design and day of coordination. Bree is so organized, supportive and the best at what she does! My wedding day went smoothly and I was actually able to sit back and enjoy it without stressing over all the small details. All of the guests loved the table centre pieces she helped design, an added bonus is that she is eco-friendly and has her own rental company so you don’t have to worry about buying things for the wedding you’ll probably never use again.

Bree was absolutely amazing to work with for our wedding. I didn't have to think about anything on our wedding day as I knew Bree had everything taken care of. She ensured everything was setup properly, speakers knew when they were about to go up and kept us on schedule all night. Not only were my husband and I super impressed, our parents also spoke very highly of Bree for weeks after the wedding.

We did pre-wedding photos with Jason in Banff and Lake Louise. The pictures turned out amazing, Jason is an artist! He has a great vision and was so good at directing us for poses. He was very professional and prompt - he sent us some of the photos the very same day so we could see how they turned out. His make-up artist and hair person, Kimmy, was very helpful and kind too! She helped me change into different dresses and helped place them during the shoot. I didn't know pre-wedding photos existed before but I'm so glad we did them! It takes a lot of pressure off the wedding day since we know we already got some amazing photos. Overall it was a really great experience and we would definitely recommend JC Wedding Studio!

Jason at JC wedding studio is a gem! He made us feel like rockstars on our big day. He's not just a photographer but an artist who knows how to make your special moments into magical memories. He was super chill, friendly, and understood exactly what we wanted.

Jason was our main photographer and the photos are amazing. The pricing was very reasonable for the time the photographers spent with us. It was a full day of photography for an Asian style wedding. We received over 4000 photos on an USB with two very cute key chains.

We were absolutely thrilled with Julianne Young Weddings! Renee was our Wedding Concierge and both Chiyere and Julianne was present at the ceremony and reception in Banff. We highly recommend this team!

The planning of our wedding was complicated- we planned the wedding in only a few months from London UK, during the covid pandemic. The wedding was held at my grandparents' cabin in Kananaskis Country, Alberta. The cabin is rustic, hard-to-find, and has literally no reception. In short, there was so much uncertainty and so many ways things could have gone wrong! But Julianne was by our side every step of the way; we never doubted she had everything under control. Julianne maintained a positive outlook while also being realistic with us about possible challenges related to the pandemic, our remote and rustic venue, and our budget.

Julianne, her team, and the vendors she selected executed an event that felt truly magical. When we arrived at the cabin on our wedding day and we saw how Julianne had brought the vision to life, I was truly speechless (and then burst into happy tears!). Julianne had brought to life dreams I didn't even know I had! If there were any issues, my husband and I were unaware - everyone knew how to reach her and she was on it. It was a breeze working with Shannon on my micro-wedding. She was able to help us organize a traditional style wedding with a lot of cultural elements with 5 weeks of notice! The constant reminders and status updates made us feel looped in the process.

Both my wife and I, are not residents of Ottawa but the wedding took place there. We had a lot of doubts of how to plan a wedding in a different city but Shannon made sure to set up everything perfectly with all the venders without us having to be worried about anything. From decor to venue and everything in between, she had amazing recommendations for each item on our list and took care of booking, logistics and timeline. Communication was excellent on her end. She is a very warm and enthusiastic person.

I honestly think it would not have been possible to have my wedding in a short time without Shannon’s help and expertise.

Where to even begin - good news is we had just secured our dream wedding venue, the bad news is we had less than a year to plan the biggest event we had ever thrown.

To put it simply, Shannon is the best. My wedding day was PERFECT thanks to her and I was able to soak up every minute of it because I trusted Shannon fully with my vision. There was an issue with the shuttles we had ordered but I had zero idea because Shannon made sure to keep it away from me and handled it all. I felt so much relief having her by my side. The entire year she was such a massive help, making sure vendor contracts looked good and also aided in finding vendors when it seemed like all were booked up. From start to finish, she was a rock and constant support. Anyone’s wedding will go incredibly with Shannon in their corner 🫶🏻

Kimberley was one of the best decisions we made in our vendor team. At first, I wasn’t too sure how it would all work. But very quickly, Kimberley showcased her incredible talents with music, but also helping us think through key elements of the day – should our walk down the aisle songs have vocals or not, how long should they be, what about the first dance? All with responsive communication, Kimberley was a dream to work with.

During the day, she was a true highlight of all of our guests. One guest asked “Can we get a copy of this soundtrack”? Another older guest asked “Can we order her CD?”. She blended so seamlessly into the flow of our day, and I cannot imagine what the day would be like without her.

If you’re thinking about adding vocals / music, and strings are not for you, Kimberley is your gal. I wouldn’t even hesitate. Get her on your vendor team. As a surprise, she also takes fantastic ceremony pictures from her unique angle! 😊

We recently had Kimberley play and sing at our Mom’s funeral. She did a beautiful job! During this emotional time with multiple decisions to be made, Kimberley made our selecting of music much easier given her wide range of suggested funeral songs well organized on her website and the ability for us to request songs if desired.

Everything was seamless from communication, set up and execution. Her piano instrumentals and her beautiful voice were a highlight during the service at a difficult time for us and brought us much comfort. Mom would have loved it.

The KNL team is truly incredible — especially Liza! Due to unforeseen circumstances, we needed a new emcee at the last minute for our wedding day, and Liza proactively stepped in and settled everything quickly, which gave us great peace of mind, despite her busy schedule.

From the start, she was kind, approachable, and so willing to help. Her efficiency and professionalism gave us real peace of mind, and we knew we could fully trust her to handle the role. We were especially grateful that she arrived early to see if there was anything she could assist with, and throughout the evening, she was proactive, quick on her feet, and seamlessly coordinated with all the other vendors. Her energy and presence truly elevated the atmosphere of our wedding — it made a noticeable difference.

On top of that, the after-service from the KNL team really impressed us. They followed up with a thoughtful call to ask for feedback and find ways to continue improving their service, which shows their genuine commitment.

We hired KNL for entertainment and day-of coordination, with Liza as our MC, and they truly went above and beyond. From the start they kept checking in and following up to make sure we hadn’t forgotten anything (which was a lifesaver since we were planning everything ourselves with zero event-planning experience). They also recommended some excellent vendors along the way.
Our meetings with Liza and Helen were always a stress reliever. They had such great energy, cheerful but calming, and every time we left a meeting we felt less overwhelmed. On the wedding day, we could really see the difference their work made.
MC Liza had everyone laughing and dancing, DJ Abasi’s transitions had us mindblown, Du and the tech team nailed the lighting, dry ice, and sound, and Simon… well, we’re still not totally sure what his official role was, because he was everywhere and seemed to be doing everything, but he absolutely killed it.

Before meeting with Sadie I viewed pictures from other weddings at our venue which often gave off dark lighting. This wasn’t my preference and I explained that to Sadie when we met. When I came across Sadie's instagram while searching for a photographer, I immediately knew that I wanted to work with her. I have used Lindsay now twice for big monumental moments in my life. One being my engagement photos, and the second our daughter’s first birthday. Cole did an amazing job officiating our elopement a couple weeks ago. I’ve been trying to find the words all week to thank Cole for officiating our wedding, so here goes.

If you’re looking for a boring, standard wedding ceremony, I know Cole would be able to create that for you, but you would be wasting his incredible talents. Cole through his process crafted for us a ceremony that had everybody confused why he wasn’t at the wedding reception because it was obvious that he knew us so well even though we had only met him in person that day. He listened to us in preparing for the ceremony to make it ours and his questionnaire was a fun date night that even helped us understand what we both wanted the ceremony to be like. Through the whole process Cole was professional and prompt with his communications and responsive to our adjustments. Given the detail that Cole went through with us in what felt like a short amount of time we had high expectations and he still blew us out of the water. Cole - thank you so much!

Honestly, I think the best thing I can share about Cole was... everything? He made both the vows and wedding ceremony super easy to plan out, and he was all about our fun ideas! Everyone raved about how amazing the ceremony was. I’m a nervous person and cried as soon as I started walking down the aisle. But the way Cole led the ceremony grounded me instantly, I felt so comfortable being up there and being able to focus in the moment with my now husband.
I lost my voice on my wedding day, but you wouldn’t have known with how smoothly the ceremony went because of Cole.

Catherine was very professional and did a wonderful job officiating our wedding! Her calm demeanour and humour made us feel more relaxed at the altar. There was a mix-up with our rings as well (the wrong person was holding them) and she helped make sure it was resolved before the ceremony began. Would highly recommend her!
